Speaker 1 (00:00):
Hairline. Sunshine is deputy director of Communications with the Trump campaign.
She joins us, Now, I want to ask you about
the weird thing first, because it's weird. The mainstream media
is what mainstream media is. Stay all using the term
weird to describe the Trump Vance ticket in particular, Jdvents.
What do you make of that? Oh, yeah, no, you're right.

Speaker 2 (00:19):
The people that can't tell you what a woman is,
the people that think men or women and women are men.
The people that walk around like drag queens at the Olympics. Yeah, no,
you're right, we're the weird ones, right, Yeah, got it.
But you know, it's funny. It's interesting because you know,
politics is downstream of culture, and I think for the
things that the MAGA movement stands for, like standing for

(00:43):
our flag, or loving your family, or a kneeling for
your God, or loving the military, or wanting to be
pro family and secure our border to people who want
to give free flights and free housing to illegal immigrants,
or who would rather ship all of our money to
you crane and fly that flag instead of ours, or
like I said, can't tell you what a woman is,

(01:05):
and think that men should compete in women's sports, I'm
sure we do look pretty weird. But it's like it
always happens with the liberal mainstream media. It's always you know,
in psychology one oh one, they teach you about projecting, right, Like,
whatever somebody has going on in their mind, they'll project
it onto somebody else. This is what the liberal mainstream
media does all the time. But like I said, if

(01:26):
standing for your flag and loving your family and wanting
a secure border and wanting to create a more prosperous
nation where moms can afford baby formula and people can
afford the American dream and have children, and we get
to have an economy working for us again in the
secure border, then yeah, we're really, really weird.

Speaker 3 (01:44):
Kamala Harris is going around saying we're not going to
go back to the old way. Well I get that,
but culture, that culture change began in the sixties with
the rebellious and now they're old baby boomers, we're all old.
So the new culture of America, what will the new
culture be? It's not going to be what we're having

(02:04):
to live through right now, will it.

Speaker 2 (02:07):
Yeah, that's a really great question. That's a hopeful question too.
It's interesting you mentioned the sixties. A lot of the times.
I think the problems with a certain segment of liberals
is that they actually talk sixties, but they live fifties.
They're really hypocritical. They don't practice a lot of what
they preach. They'll tell you that you need to have
a wide open border, but they live in a gated community.

(02:29):
They'll tell you that we need to have endless amounts
of spending, it's going to create more inflation, that we
need to have a welfare state, that we need to
pay for a legal immigrants health care. But you know,
they're not the ones struggling to afford a house like
a lot of our young people are because the interest
rates are so high. So a lot of it is
talk sixties, live fifties. But it's a great hopeful question,

(02:50):
and it's one that I think President Trump answers every day,
especially when he's out on the campaign trail. And why
you see him going to places like what's say Minnesota
for example, where you don't maybe necessarily see traditional Republicans go.
Certainly you're not going to see Kamala Harris go to
Alabama anytime soon, right, But that's because, like you said,
it's the question of what kind of culture we're going
to create. This family or this country was founded on

(03:12):
some bedrock principles that are fashionable in every era. And
when we talk about making America great again, it's a
return to those principles of faith, of family, of freedom,
putting family first. We love our families. American families right
now are struggling right creating a culture that protects our families,

(03:33):
protects parental rights and parents to make decisions about what
their kids learn in schools and how to write, to
freedom of expression, and then of course security, which is
mentioned in the preamble of the Constitution. Is who don't
a border, We don't have a nation right now, We're
a lawless nation. We don't even respect our own laws.
We have a culture of lawlessness where people like Kamala

(03:54):
Harris think it's fashionable and in vogue to bail out
rioters who tear down on our statues that celebrate our
country's history. No matter what the liberal mainstream media tries
to tell you that this country was founded by a
bunch of old, racist white men, absolutely not true. That
belief might be in vogue in San Francisco, but out
here in the rest of America, and flyover states. We're

(04:16):
proud of our history. We're proud to be a nation
of heroes, proud to be a nation of people who
settled the frontier, people who have made tremendous sacrifices for
their family, people who've got overseas to liberate a continent
from the nazis. So restoring the culture that's proud of
our history rather than detigrates it, a culture of law

(04:39):
and order rather than lawlessness, and a culture that puts
family first rather than denigrates it is weird, all right.

Speaker 1 (04:45):
I wish we had more time, more questions than time
as usual. But thanks for joining us, Caroline, appreciate it.
Caroline Sunshine. By the way, I look up her middle name.
Are you ready for this? Ready for the share? I'm
not sure. Her middle name is more Caroline, more sunshine.
