Here's the polls are open. You can get out there
and early vote today if you want. It'll be interesting
to see what kind of a crowd he is attracted
on the first day of early voting here in Texas.
Cindy Siegal joins us Harris County GOP chair. I know
it's early, Cindy, but I'm wondering if you've heard any
reports about what's looking like at the early voting polls
this morning. Are we seeing a pretty good crowd?

Speaker 2 (00:21):
Yes, we actually are. My own husbands went to and
he said there was a line of fifty people outside.
And we've heard from a couple of vote bages around
the county that said they had people in all of
our other gym for the polls to open. So good sign.
We've been telling line waitings. Although a lot of Republicans

went away to election. Republicans for encouraging everyone, like President Trump,
get out and vote early day, we're.

Speaker 1 (00:54):
Still there and she's gone. That didn't last long. Nope,
get here's okay. You're cutting out there Sunday, so that's okay.
We'll try this again.

Can you hear me?

Speaker 1 (01:09):
Now I can hear you. You're still you're still clipping
just a little bit. But go ahead and give your
best shot here. I mean, if you want to pick
up where you left off, that'd be great.

Speaker 2 (01:17):
Yeah. So we're encouraging Republicans to get out and vote. Really,
don't wait till election day. You don't know what if
there's bad weather, et cetera. It helps our candidates so
they don't waste the text or trying to chase your
ballot if you're going to vote anyway, So a phone
called early and get it out of the way. We

want to swamp the polls as President Trump's vote the votes. Okay,
why are there not enough Republicans entering judicial races?

Speaker 1 (01:48):
Why did Republicans why did we not field candidates?

Speaker 2 (01:53):
Well, you know we we were advertising for it. And
I think, well is that people? And I think you know,
it's one thing share when you're the problem of office.
I mean, I'm a CPA. I could run for office,
and you run for I lose. There's not someone who's
going to hold it against me. What's the problems.

Speaker 1 (02:13):
If I hope she could not?

Speaker 2 (02:16):
Again, sorry, when challenge for attorneys that are litigating it's
the challenge. These Democrat judges are very punitive, and it's
like iforders is Dimon says he knows if he doesn't
win that it's going to hurt his practice. Sother Dan
Cyer's hesitancy, I'm on practicing attorneys that are litigators think

that they know that the Democrat judges are going to
take it out on them.

Speaker 1 (02:43):
Let me let me ask you about that. It is
the justice system in Harris County so skewed to the
left that they actually will hold it against an attorney
who ran for that position, who has managed to go
ahead and say they are a Republican.

Speaker 2 (03:00):
Yes, wow, yes, and I backed you know, some of
our election challenges for the attorneys that were representing them
for the November twenty two you know, these judges were
posting stuff about, well that that attorney election show up

in my court, you know, stand standard for better not
when he was the county clerk for eight years. When
he lost sample, he went and he was working in
another area of the county and when the heu he
basically was told he no longer had a job took So, yeah,

(03:42):
they're very punitive, and that's you know, I get it.
I mean you know, your livelihood that upon it. And
you know my example is if I run for offices,
it's depending on you know, I'm not going to lose
my clients.

If I lose. So subtle but very subtle, but very
effective form of electioneering when you get right down to it,
all right, yeah, we have to leave it at that sense, Cindy,
