Speaker 1 (00:00):
Six twenty three, now here in Houston's boring news. You're
going to go crazy if Trump wins the election. Six
it's pretty much as say, bet, the Trump derangement syndrome,
which is on display even when he's not at the
White House, will be on full display if he is.
Mark Alpern predicts there will be the biggest mental health
crisis in the American history of Trump wins. He said
(00:22):
there would be workplace fights, violent protests launched by the left. Says,
I think it will cause the biggest mental health crisis
in the history of America. And I don't think it
would be a passing thing that by the inauguration would
be fined. I think it would be sustained, unprecedented and hideous.
Joining us to talk about is Anthony Russo political commentary.
(00:43):
Do you think he's right, Anthony?
Speaker 2 (00:45):
I think he's right.
Speaker 3 (00:47):
And first off, I want to say I think that
there's going to be some issues either way on the selection.
Speaker 2 (00:51):
We've been that for it.
Speaker 3 (00:52):
I mean, if the Republicans lose, they're going to right
now be looking at the shift and polls. They're going
to be thinking that we have a way to win.
We already have the polief system that our voting system
is flawed.
Speaker 2 (01:02):
So I think we'll be very upset.
Speaker 3 (01:04):
I think the right wing will have their issues and
potentially even have small amounts of protests and maybe even
escalating to a riot. But when you look at the left,
the left has been programmed in such a manner that
they think the next four years will be the Handmaid's Tale.
And if indeed Trump wins, I think he's right.
Speaker 2 (01:23):
I think Mark Albrin is spot on.
Speaker 3 (01:25):
I think we're going to see some of the most
deranged riots, protest, anger, fury, frustration that we've ever seen
because they've been programmed to think that this is the
end of democracy, and this is the end of civility,
this is the end of humanity.
Speaker 2 (01:40):
So I mean, yeah, I get it as much as
I think it's absolutely insane.
Speaker 3 (01:44):
The media is the one that's really ignited this firestorm
of misinformation about Donald Trump.
Speaker 4 (01:50):
Well, the Democrats have always contested the electors of any elections,
so you can expect that coming from the party, it's
going to be contested. If Trump is sided is winning,
they're going to throw all kinds of legal obstacles in.
But this whole thing about riots and people getting crazy
in the streets, and the party in power, which is
(02:11):
the Democrats, they're going to be the ones task with
quelling that until the next president is sworn in. And
what do you foresee in that? I mean, will they
call out the malicious, so to speak, the National Guard
in order to keep things in line, or will they
just let people run rampant.
Speaker 2 (02:30):
I think it depends on the city. I think it'll
depend on the leadership in the area and.
Speaker 3 (02:34):
Who where they can make it look like. I really
do think that they don't care, and I hate to
say that. I think they'll find a way to make
it look like in certain counties, in certain cities that
are more blue, they will do if they can to patch.
Speaker 2 (02:48):
Up, and then in the red cities they can use this.
It's all going to.
Speaker 3 (02:52):
Be planned for twenty twenty or twenty twenty six, and
then twenty twenty eight.
Speaker 2 (02:56):
I'll look at these cities after the election.
Speaker 3 (02:58):
You look at the cry and look at this, and
I think in the next two months after the election
are going to be very telling. But when you've got
people like perfect example, there's a video going around from
MSNBC where there is a transcend gender person that says
to the moderator, saying, they said, what would you say
to Kamala if she gets selected? And this person says,
(03:18):
I would ask if they would sign the equality bill
into into law.
Speaker 2 (03:23):
Okay, cool, don't even want to know what that is.
Speaker 3 (03:25):
Not even sure exactly what this person's talking about. They
asked about Trump, They said, what would you say to Trump?
And the response is does Trump see me as a
human being? And it's like when you have been programmed
to feel that way, that you think that the potential
president of the United States, no matter what your sexual orientation, beliefs, system,
et cetera, doesn't see you as a human being, which
is completely false. Just disagreeing with certain things you know,
(03:49):
with that group of people is one thing, but so
not same as a human being. These people are going
to lose their mind. They're already mentally frail, they already
have a Some people can argue mental is shoes regardless,
and as a group, with the youth all the way
up to some of the boomers that feel this way,
they are going to lose their mind.
Speaker 1 (04:08):
I'm old enough. I grew up outside of Detroit in
nineteen sixty seven when that city burned and the National
Guard was dispersed and people died. Could it get that
bad as the result at election? All across this country?
Speaker 2 (04:23):
Since?
Speaker 3 (04:24):
Since you've been around for both, and again obviously TV
coverage is different, what would you have compared the BLM
mostly peaceful summer too? Would you have said that was
similar to nineteen sixty seven or less?
Speaker 1 (04:36):
A little bit less because you did a little bit
less just because you didn't have as many people dying,
So a little.
Speaker 3 (04:42):
Bit less and more widespread. I think I think the
way that to say it is it'll be a little
bit less than that, but just as widespread, if not
more widespread than Bill.
Speaker 1 (04:51):
Okay, all right, I think it's a fair comparison.
Speaker 3 (04:54):
Well, what do.
Speaker 4 (04:54):
Normal people do?
Speaker 2 (04:56):
I mean normal people do?
Speaker 1 (04:57):
Yeah? I mean what do we do?
Speaker 2 (04:59):
I mean where?
Speaker 3 (05:00):
Yeah?
Speaker 4 (05:00):
I mean the chaos that we predict, the fear that
the angst that builds within us?
Speaker 2 (05:06):
What do we do?
Speaker 3 (05:08):
I mean? You continue to do it you do on
a daily basis, and be normal, be vigilant, always keep
your head on a swivel, and maybe make smart decisions
in November, because again I don't think.
Speaker 2 (05:19):
This will last years and years and years.
Speaker 3 (05:21):
I don't think it will last months, but there's going
to be an initial shock on either side, and you.
Speaker 2 (05:26):
Just simply make smart decisions on where you go and
who you're with.
Speaker 1 (05:29):
All Right, be prepared for anything, Anthony, Thank you, Anthony.
We're so political commentator
