Texas Republican Congressman Beth van Dine on Fox after getting
your group of holdouts in line, and the House is
currently debating President Donald Trump's One Big beautiful bill.

I would also look at, you know, just to see
if there's any fiery speeches. You know, people are a
little bit worn out here at this late hour. But
I do think that from a purely political standpoint here,
Republicans are probably feeling a little bit triumphant now that
they were able to deliver.

That is Fox's Chad Pergrown debating the bill and passing
it or two different things. Though there's at least one
Texas Republican congressman opposed.

Still serious reservations. If they call the vote right now,
I'm gonna know. So we've got to go figure out
where this is going. If I'm going to get to us.

Chip Roy on Newsmax, we're expecting this vote by eight
o'clock Houston time. President Trump reacting to all of this
on truth social posting quote for Republicans, this should be
an easy yes vote, ridiculous with three exclamation points. Meantime,
main Street might be the biggest winner if this all
passes because it includes tax cuts for small businesses.

Small businesses receive a significant permanent tax cut that's contained
in the big beautiful bill.

Speaker 6 (03:12):
Glenn Hamer with the Texas Association of Business says this
will allow small businesses to immediately deduct the full cost
of equipment and property from their taxes, that he says
encourages expansion, modernization, and job growth. Speaking of jobs, we're
expecting the June jobs report at seven thirty this morning.
The economy adding one hundred and thirty nine thousand jobs

in May, which was above expectations.

Well, we all know that no Democrats going to vote
for President Trump's budget plans, but the party is now
stealing ideas, literally stealing ideas from the GOP.

And that is exactly what the Dens are doing with
their new Project twenty twenty nine.

Let's roll, because they actually put every policy that the
Democrats truly have in a book.

That's Aaron Evans, president of Winning Republican Strategies, who says
it really will be a big win for the GOP.

This is gonna be a heck of a book. I'm
looking forward to reading it that I'm fairly confident. If
they actually put all the stuff they truly believe in
a book, we're going to win even more.

Project twenty twenty nine for Democrats even includes two members
from Team Biden, Jeff Biggs News Radio seven forty k Thiery.

Speaker 6 (04:25):
Not only that, Jeff, but the Dems are looking for
a few good candidates. The latest twenty twenty eight presidential
poll shows Pete Buddha Judge leads the field at sixteen percent,
Kamala Harris while she's down more than twenty points to
thirteen percent. Political analyst Jeff Krui says this should be
a wake up call.

Speaker 14 (04:43):
Democrats are in a really tough situation that doesn't look
like they are always to take back Congress.

Speaker 3 (04:49):
And then their numbers.

Speaker 14 (04:50):
As far as popularity are very low as a party
in disarray right now, and they certainly need some new leadership.

And it doesn't help that their most visible faces are
Jasmine Crockett and aoc It's now five Toho five here
at home. Another lawsuit is filed against the new Texas
law requiring the Ten Commandments be displayed in public school classrooms.
UT's Eric McDaniel thinks this could get all the way
to the US Supreme Court.

They may allow it, but may say but very clear
limitations on some of these actions.

Speaker 6 (05:22):
McDaniel and KXA and Television in Austin. If Harris County
Judge Lena Hidalgo runs for a third term, she might
get a second Democrat primary challenger in the form of
Houston City council member Letitia Plummer.

Speaker 7 (05:36):
This could be a sign that even members of her
own party don't like the incumbent.

Speaker 16 (05:40):
Just watch how she's run meetings. I mean she's been
rude and offensive versus respectful of the position.

Speaker 7 (05:48):
Harris County GOP chair Cindy Siegel says, it all goes
mixed signals about running is also encouraging more Democrats to
jump in.

Traditionally, when an incumbent announces and announces early, you know
it sort of keeps the old typically.

Speaker 7 (06:01):
Clear, Siegel says, despite the opposition from inside, her party
had to all go. Still appeals to the radical base
and could win a primary. Ethan Buchanan News Radio seven

And the Houston Chronicle is once again trying to shame
Houston Mayor John Whickmeyer for attending an event with Republican
Congressman Dan Crenshaw. They're actually promoting a resolution to admonish
the mayor. But here's the problem. That resolution has a
grand total of one hundred signatures.

Those people have not gotten over at the last mayor
of Race where I beat Ciela Jackson Lee. There's some
people still unhappy about that. But listen, I don't worry
about the politics.

The mayor told us a few months ago when the
resolution was first released that he's focused on simply fixing
the city and he'll work with anyone to achieve that goal.

Another example of mattress mac giving back. This morning from
seven to nine, He's giving away one hundred mattresses to
military veterans and first responders. This is on a first come,
first serve basis at the North Freeway store. You will

We get started on this July third, fourth of July
is coming up tomorrow, long weekend before I'm assuming, but
just about everybody except the essential people, you know, police
and fire and medical personnel, and the people who traditionally
have to work. We salute you first and foremost this morning.
Those who have to work over the course of the holiday,
we don't. We will not be here tomorrow. We'll have

some special programming for You'll tell you more about that later.
But I'm curious here because I saw this poll. This course,
this is a nationwide poll. This poll is not Texas centric.
We can probably figure out how to make it Texas centric,
knowing what we know about our fellow Texans. But this
poll asks people what they're doing for the fourth of July.

(08:23):
Here are the results. Thirty five percent will spend time
with family or go to a family get together. Thirty
three percent will go to a barbecue or picnic, sixteen
percent will go to a fireworks display. Only ten percent.
Here's the part where we would need to make it
Texas centric. Only ten percent plan to set off fireworks themselves. Now,

something to remember is that if in many states, if
not most of the states, personal fireworks are illegal, you're
not allowed to do it. Doesn't mean that people don't
buy them, doesn't mean that people don't do it in
those states, but fewer people do here outside of the
big cities. It's pretty much legal to have fireworks where

I live in If you know, I've talked about it
many times. You know how the dog hates the fireworks.
But you know, we're getting ready for that. But uh,
but more Texans, obviously, they are going to set off
fireworks than people across the country. So ten percent, it's
gonna be a whole lot higher than ten percent here in Texas.
Ten percent will go to a Fourth of July event,
like a parade. Why don't we have a Fourth of
July parade? Does anybody have a Fourth of July parade

here in the greater Houston area? You know, Fourth of
July parades used to be really, really common. You know,
the town, little town I grew up in, we had
a Fourth of July parade, a Memorial Day parade, and
it was a small town. Eleven percentple will watch sports,
five percent will go to the beach. I bet that's
higher here because we're closer to the beach. Four percent

will go camping or hiking, two percample go fishing, and
ten percent say we have no plans whatsoever. But but
the number one, number one, forty three percent is just
kicking back and staying at home, relaxing. That's the winner.
Forty three percent aren't really doing much anything, just kind

of hanging out, enjoying the extra day off, sleeping in
if you have a backyard pool, hanging out by the
backyard pool. So here's my question.

Representative Chip roy or, you know, letting them know we
don't know, you get you got to change that by
you know, if we can't let this you know. But
at some point this morning, I think this gets passed
and it goes back to the Senate, and it probably
gets past there too, and it will become law, maybe

in time for the fourth July. In the meantime, Democrats
are melting down over it. As you can imagine here,
they are melting down with some reaction on Fox.

This bill is a deal with the devil.

They also don't mention that raising taxes won't shrink the
deficit if you spend it before you even put it
in the bank account, which is what Democrats do whenever
they raise taxes.

throwing you're throwing the poor and needy. No, no, no,
these are young.

Able body people and illegals. You know, this isn't a
free buffet for people who can pay for it. So
enough with that. The debt is an existential threat, But
climate change wasn't.

Where were these Dems for the past ten years. They
were blowing up the deficit to fund a climate policy.

That was based on fraudulent data to line crony's pockets.

Hundreds of millions of dollars of USAID contracts being wrongly awarded.
And even when they determined that these contractors were corrupt,
they continued to award contracts at USAID, including for finding
root cross causes of immigration from South America. So we
all know where that was going. This is not going
to happen on our watch. We're just getting started and

that's why we've ordered an audit, full scale, dating back
fifteen years to twenty ten. Because we hold these people accountable.
We're going to bring him to the Department of Justice.

This is the spokesperson for Gavin Newsom. Finally, the federal
government is doing the right thing to pay for the
damage several small businesses have suffered from the Trump imposed
chaos campaign in California, in Los Angeles, California. California businesses
shouldn't have to shoulder the burden of Trump's authoritarian tie. Rade,

I think you're talking about the riots. How do you
react to that?

Well, look, we reacted quickly. That started on June sixth,
when Gavin Newsom tried to stop ICE officials from arresting
criminal illegal aliens. Then he tried to stop President Trump
from restoring law and order, and now finally he tried
to stop small businesses from getting the relief they needed.

When we called on him.

Three days later to allow us to come in and
support the small businesses who were standing in the rubble
of their small businesses while he stood with criminal illegal
aliens waving the Mexican flag and burning down their businesses.
It took him three weeks, so we're going to hold
him accountable. We certainly hope that Los Angeleans will hold
him accountable as well. But right now, President Trump and

the Small Business Administration are standing with the American people
to put Americans first, while gas Gavin Newsom puts illegal
criminal aliens first.

center for Wall Street today. Depending on how investors interpret

strong report might be celebrated as an indication the economy
is doing well.

Be seen as increasing the answers of a federal reserve
interest rate cut. Economists think about one hundred and six
thousand jobs were added last month. They see the unemployment
