House Republicans have rolled out a new healthcare bill that
they hope to bring to the floor this week. The
proposal includes cost sharing reductions and pharmacy benefit reforms, but
leaves out an extension of Enhanced Oboma Care subsidies and
set to it spire in just a few weeks. Party
leaders say that the door remains open for a possible
amendment on subsidies, with the House Speaker calling the bill

Speaker 5 (05:34):
He says that unlike the state's Republican party, Democrats have
been floundering for years when it comes to finding grassroot candidates.
A House Democrat campaign committee focusing on five House seats
that they see as potentially vulnerable. Meanwhile Republicans keep turning
out winners well. Jingle Bells has been a favorite holiday
classic for years, and now former MSNBC host Joy Reid
(05:57):
is pushing the claims that the carol is actually a
racist tune meant to mock black people.
Speaker 14 (06:05):
That claim is now being blested as yet another desperate
cry for attention.
Speaker 15 (06:09):
It just goes in line with this grievance culture that
the left has come up with. The Democrats have come
up with. Everyone wants to be a victim.
Speaker 14 (06:16):
Of RNC Committee man doctor Robin Armstrong says this is
part of the left wing effort to campaign off their
own victimization.
Speaker 15 (06:23):
Everything is about an agenda for them, and it's about
sowing seeds of divisiveness just for a political purpose.
Speaker 14 (06:30):

Speaker 3 (07:17):
By the way, at a time here in Houston's morning
is get to the dog story in half second. I
do want to let you know we will be on
top this morning. Of all the shootings that occurred. I know,
such a happy topic so close to Christmas, but we
had a mass shooting in Australia. We had the brown
University shooting where the killer is still at large. We
had I don't consider this part of that, but also
(07:40):
just kind of going in with the bizarre weekend brought.
Do you hear about this Rob Reiner and his wife
killed and the LAPD's being very very quiet about it
for some reason. I believe their son is the suspect.
So I will get to all those stories in the moment.
First though, for those of us who have of dog dependence,
(08:01):
I have one dog dependent, now have four cat dependents.
They all rely on me, and they rely on me
to be fed, to be housed, be cared for, to
go to the fet, have the doctor bills cared for.
This is interesting to me. On one hand, it seems
kind of silly about On the other hand, it maybe
(08:22):
makes sense. Might be curious to see what you think
about this. We have a lawyer suing the Internal Revenue
Service demanding that pets count as legal dependence just like
human children for the purpose of tax relief. Bets count
as a legal human family. You know, we can't count
them as human, but should we be able to count
(08:45):
them as a family member. Ninety seven percent of American
pet owners say they consider the pets to be part
of their family, and those pets are dependent on us
for food, shelter, medical care, training, transportation, and daily living.
An says her eight year old Golden retriever has no
independent income, resides exclusively with her and as annual expenses
(09:09):
exceeding five thousand dollars, which satisfies the irs intent of dependency,
with the exception of the fact that the dog is
non human. Currently, pets are considered property by the Internal
Revenue Service. Is your pet a piece of property or
part of your family? You would have to change the
(09:29):
designation in order for that to work. Now, from a
practical standpoint, how many more people would be willing to
provide a loving home to a stray dog or cat
if they could write off the expenses on their taxes.
If you could count your pet as a dependent and
(09:50):
write it off on your taxes, would you be more
inclined to adopt because part of the at least part
of the cost of having that pet would be Dif
what do you think? Go to the iHeartRadio up ktr
H hit the talkback button. Should you be able to
count your pet or pets as dependent and write them
off on your taxes? Five to ten time for traffic
(10:12):
and weather together, you really blow your mind. What's that,
skuy mine.
Speaker 4 (10:16):
I think that you get some sort because I know
my family gets like a farm extension, you know, for
having cows.
Speaker 6 (10:22):
If you have so many cows on there.
Speaker 3 (10:24):
Are the cows considered dependent that they're pretty if they
dependent on them or will be dependent on the column.
Speaker 4 (10:31):
Give it a couple of weeks when the grass dies
out and you've got hey, and yeah, they get pretty dependent,
you know.
Speaker 6 (10:36):
Yeah.
Speaker 4 (10:37):
Like I said, let's go to the hard work and

News don't hear about a lot of gun violence In,
australia the very very strict gun, laws but that didn't
keep this individual would be, terrorist as it turns, out
from accumulating six weapons which he used On Bondi beach
during A julish Celebration honikah celebration to mowd down just
(34:44):
dozens of. People just a horrific. Side Jeff attica, joins
us director of The Warrior Defense project At Saint Mary's Law.
School it's hard to know where to start with this.
One i've heard a lot of commentary coming out Of
australia and they're all saying the same thing that the
government has been allowing people who have Anti semitic tendencies
to emigrate to their country and it's causing trouble and
(35:06):
they're just turning a blind eye to all of.
Speaker 15 (35:08):
It, yeah that's.
Speaker 36 (35:12):
TRUE i mean there's been recommendations by select committees by
The prime. Minister he ignored all the. Recommendations they have
taken in More gozzens than any country in the world
since The october seventh, attack and The gosen people voted
overwhelmingly to Put hamas into. Office we know that the
(35:32):
children Gaza are propaganda is from a very early age
with Anti, semitism Hate, jews Kill. Jews and you allow
that type of mentality to come into your, country what
do you think is going to happen? Now we obviously
know this attack was directly related to Radical islamic extremists
and also into the wishes. Grew you add the fact
(35:55):
that these idiots In australia have taken away guns from their.
People the way you stop a bad guy with a
gun is a good guy with a. Gun we saw
one individual tackle one of the, shooters but that's not
the way you defend yourself that basically have disarmed their
own people and there at the mercy of.
Speaker 24 (36:13):
Criminals it's it's.
Speaker 3 (36:14):
Insane, well why would you disarm your own people and
allow somebody who emigratuate that country has extremist beliefs to
to coglect. Weapons that doesn't make any. Sense how this
guy gets hand on six guns if they're if their
gun laws are so.
Speaker 36 (36:24):
Tough, yeah criminals can always get. Guns when you, disarm
you're disarming the, citizens the law abiding. Citizens and statistics
show that when you allow people to carry arms at
the crime rate actually goes, down not. UP a lot
of misprop propaganda about you, know gun. Ownership thank, goodness
our founders have the wisdom to you, know put into
The Second amendment into OUR. Dna yes there's going to be.
(36:47):
Accidents yes there's going to be, mishaps but that's. Life
life is, dangerous there's you, know that's and that's not
going to. Change you're always going to have, Crime you're
always going to have these types of issues that you
have to deal. With but this is early a terror
attack and The australian government is disoriented to. Reality they
cannot conform their mind to objective. Reality therefore they're, delusional
(37:09):
and that's what the far left. Does we get rid
of crime by get riding of, guns get rid of
war by disarming our. Military that's never. Worked it's a
disorientation to.
Speaker 2 (37:18):
Reality.
Speaker 3 (37:19):
Amen all, right let's also talk as long as around
on the topic of. Terrorism we had SEVERAL us troops
killed and injured in an ambush attack In syria over the.
Weekend the ones that were killed were members of The
Iowa National. Guard according to A us senior, official AN
isis gunman opened fire with an automatic weapon in the
Central syrian town Of, palmyra killing Two Iowa National guard
(37:40):
soldiers and The american civilian. Translator again that part of the,
world those things are always going to, happen aren't.
Speaker 32 (37:47):
They.
Speaker 36 (37:48):
YEAH i, mean the job of the military is extremely.
Dangerous that's, why thank goodness we Have Pete hegseth and
The department Of war would have gotten rid.
Speaker 24 (37:55):
Of all the woke.
Speaker 36 (37:56):
Nonsense you've got to have people that are the highest
and the best, qualified not because of the color of their,
skin or their sexual orientation or all this. Nonsense this
is life and, death and so we expect casualties when
you're in a wartime. Environment that, Goodness President trump has
reduced our footprint in that, area AND i hope we
(38:17):
reduce it, further because, again you're not going to stop
Radical islamic. Extremists the most you can do is to
continue to fight. Them but you, know we're basically putting
our troops at, risk and you, know what's the payoff
is something that we have to ask.
Speaker 3 (38:32):
Ourselves we're talking To Jeff, attickt director of The Warrior
Defense project At Saint Mary's Law. SCHOOL i want to
ask you quickly To jeff for a couple of quick
thoughts of what happened To Brown. University that is more
of a that's a lone gunman, situation at least we
think it might be a lone gunman. Situation they had
a person of interest in. Custody, yes that person has been,
released so obviously the person they are looking for is
(38:52):
still on the. Loose how difficult is going to be
to find this person seventy two hours?
Speaker 36 (38:57):
Afterwards usually you can captured these individuals within the first,
day second day at the, most so it's going to
be very. DIFFICULT i was very suspicious when the first
film clips came out showing this individual because he had
different clothes on than what was described for the, shooter
and so that didn't make any. Sense but, uh, uh you,
(39:17):
know this is obviously a terror. Attack but when you
when you look at, terrorism it's a, tactic you have
to kind of figure, out, well who's pauling the, trigger
who's using the. Tactic when you're attacking A jewish, crowd
obviously it's anti. Semitism when you're attacking a, university in
many cases it's a discruntal student or it's just some
criminal nut. Job so you, know they'll find him, eventually but,
(39:40):
uh you, know there's a lot of a lot of
confusion when these things. Occur and we've got some great you,
know great forensics and our you, know our our law,
enforcement THE fbi is all over. This they'll get the,
individual but it's going to be it's gonna be a
little bit more. Difficult no question By.
Speaker 3 (39:56):

so we have ceased one oil tanker so far off
The venezuelan. Coast evidently we're more than willing to seize.
More RAY Rt, trevino oil and gas expert joins US,
rt welcome back to the. Show that's kind of a
bold move when you just take a tanker. Here first
thing it comes to my mind is what happens to
(53:55):
the tanker in the? Oil do we keep? It do
we just keep the boat and keep the?
Speaker 20 (53:58):
Oil, oh good, Morning, jimmy and thank you for always
having me back On, No, unfortunately that's not the way
it all, works, right, now this is definitely a strategic
move by this administration to show that we're serious when
we set sanctions against other countries that are Anti.
Speaker 3 (54:15):
America, okay but isn't part of a good message just, Say,
okay you can have your boat, back but we're keeping
oil because there was sanctioned. Oil sanctioned, oil you had
no right to be taking it where you were taking.
It we're gonna take.
Speaker 6 (54:27):
It that is.
Speaker 20 (54:29):
Correct they had no right to take it where they
were taking. It venezuela is sanctioned right, now and they
should not be selling oil across the. Globe and this
is all part of this administration's administration strategic moves to
Deter russia from continuing to Warn ukraine no different than
what they did With iran back during the, summer to
really lower the price of oil Against iran in places Like,
(54:53):
russia to really stop there also moves against, terrorism and
keep in mind that's what this is all.
Speaker 6 (54:59):
About than to do with the war on.
Speaker 20 (55:01):
Drugs which is very important in my, opinion but this
has to do with the influence Of russia And china
In South america and From houston that's basically in our.
Speaker 3 (55:11):
BACKYARD i think this is also about regime, change if
you want to get right down to, it don't. YOU i,
mean we're trying to make it as difficult To madure
to stay in power as we absolutely positively. Can if
he can't make any income for the country through, oil
if they can't run any, drugs he's out of business.
Speaker 20 (55:27):
Absolutely venezuela is a prime example of socialism and communism
that does not. Work just twenty five thirty years, Ago
venezuela was one of the top tourist destinations in the,
world a, rich lush, economy and now once they brought
in communism and, socialism obviously that place cannot do any
(55:50):
more good. Business and it's one of the worst places
there is in the.
Speaker 3 (55:53):
World artie Wil i've got you. HERE i want to
get your thoughts right. Now where we're at with the
price of oil in this. COUNTRY i, mean we are
very last. Year In, HOUSTON i THINK i THINK i
filled up last week for two nineteen a, gallon And
i've seen it as low as two fourteen a gallon
here in The Greater houston. Area, Grunted i'm out in the.
Suburbs i'm out in the city where the jack up
price is a little, bit but that's pretty that's pretty.
(56:16):
Cheap people are that the one thing that is definitely
helping as it relates to inflation is much cheaper gasoline.
Speaker 20 (56:23):
Prices, yes, absolutely In houston has some of the best
minds in the oil and gas, industry and right now
it is, drill, baby. Drill and this president understands that
as long as we have, great, reliable abundant and a
cheap prices in, oil that we're going to have a thriving.
(56:44):
Economy make no doubt about. It that sweet spot is
still that seventy five to eighty five dollars oil where you,
know oil and gas companies make, money, shareholders investors make,
money and The american people continue to. Thrive but during
this holiday, season just what a blessing that gas prices
are going to be low and we could still continue
to see them even. LOWER i, KNOW i filled up
(57:05):
my diesel the other day for under three.
Speaker 16 (57:07):
DOLLARS i can't believe.
Speaker 3 (57:08):
It so what do you think for twenty twenty? Six
what does the prospects? LOOK i, know you, know it's
like any other commodity goes, up it goes. Down but
what are you thinking for twenty twenty. Six as far
as oil and gas, prices.
Speaker 20 (57:19):
You, know we are definitely continuing to watch the price
and we do know that as we move into twenty twenty,
six we will still see prices where they. Are but
the thing that we're actually really looking at is, electricity
and the demand for electricity is only continuing to go.
Up and keep in, mind our production is as strong
as it is is fourteen million barrels of oil a,
(57:39):
Day so as long as the demand for electricity continues
just to, rise the actual demand in oil and gas
and hydrocarbons will only continue to rise as, well which
will bring back up the price of.
Speaker 3 (57:51):
Oil, OKAY, rt thanks as, always appreciate your. Time that

expensive this? Year, yes it is our tariffs to. Blame,
well probably, so at least. Partially Here's Learning EXPRESS Ceo
(01:26:03):
Lauren dentz talking about the high price of. Toys you,
now tariffs are adding to that price prices have.
Speaker 48 (01:26:10):
INCREASED i think one hundred and twenty of our two
hundred and fifty vendors passed on price increases to our.
Speaker 16 (01:26:16):
Stores there's you.
Speaker 48 (01:26:20):
Know some of our vendors are taking a bit of
the burden of the of the. Tariffs but we are
definitely seeing those types of price increases sometimes once we've
seen vendors increase prices two or three times even.
Speaker 38 (01:26:35):
And you've seen vendors close up shop go out of
business as. Well can you give us some examples of.
Speaker 48 (01:26:40):
That one of our vendors who we were planning on
advertising this fourth quarter unfortunately went out of. Business you,
know hopefully they'll be able to pick back up in
twenty twenty. Six but our vendors are paying hundreds of,
thousands even millions in tariffs and it's just not. Sustainable
(01:27:02):
we're seeing major layoffs their, vendors which is affecting our
billy do place, orders pay. Bills, yeah it's been a.
Speaker 38 (01:27:13):
Challenge you yourself have taken a tariff. Hit the comparison
is pretty stunning last year before the tariffs were put into,
effect because remember When President trump did during his first,
administration the tariffs toy makers and toy importers were they
were excused they did not have to pay those. Tariffs
so in twenty twenty four you had your learning resources
(01:27:35):
tariff hit of two point three. Million well you estimate
that this year it's one hundred point two million. Dollars
that is a massive. Increase how have you been able
to deal with?
Speaker 16 (01:27:46):
That, well.
Speaker 48 (01:27:50):
Learning resources Is i'm sure paying some hefty. Bills it's
the toys we believe are educational and developmental in, nature
AND i think there is a good argument for those
(01:28:12):
to be exempt from, tariffs much like books are with
The Burman.
Speaker 3 (01:28:16):
Amendment, okay so she, wants she wants toys that are about,
learning tax or tariff in this case tariff. Exempt by the,
way the problem is really. Simple seventy percent of the
world's toys come From, china and that's where the heaviest
terrafts are seven to ten time for traffic and weather,

Speaker 3 (01:33:14):
Kgrh you note this is a racist, Song Joy reid,
says so seven twenty two is their time here In
houston's borning news. Don't i'm not even Sure Jingle bells
is About, christmas AND i defy you to look through
the lyrics and find Either christmas or anything. Racist the,
problem evidently is the guy who wrote, It James. Pierpond
(01:33:39):
James Lord pierpond originally copyrighted the song with the name
of The One Horse Open sleigh in eighteen fifty. Seven
supposedly it, was at least according To Joy, reid it
was written to mock black people during the winter and
was performed by minstrel, shows WHICH i don't know has
ever been proven or not. Proven then, again any song
(01:34:01):
ever performed in a minstrel show that would be, banned
you'd be banning quite a, few right joys talk about
it Is Doctor Robin, Armstrong Republican Committee, man welcome back
to the. Show Merry, christmas do you? Sir, yes, Sir Merry.
Christmas did you find anything offensive in our playing of jingle?
Speaker 2 (01:34:18):
Bells?
Speaker 15 (01:34:19):
OH i love jingle. BELLS i Love christmas. Carols we're
caroling tomorrow in the hospital and next week in the.
HOSPITAL i love These christmas. Carols it's. Shameful you, Know
i'll tell YOU i Love. Christmas and that's the problem
with it is that joy read The, democrats all the,
left they want to make us. Miserable anything that we,
love they want to try to make us hate because they're.
(01:34:41):
Miserable it's really shameful and it has such a huge
effect on society because what it does it makes a
certain group of, People African, americans very angry at everything
and it causes. Offense and it's just what The democrats.
Do they have to do it to win. Elections they
have to make people. Angry they have to be, divisive
(01:35:02):
they have to separate, us and they want to use
everything that we love and care, about they want to
use it to just separate us and divide. Us and
so they have to make everything racist to win. Elections you,
know it says misery loves. Company they like to make
everyone as miserable as they. Are so the thing is
we love the, most they're going to attack and we
see that all the, time and it's just. Shameful but
(01:35:24):
it causes a ripple effect culturally that's really really. Negative
AND i think The Democratic party is the source of
this and the left and they just get pleasure from these.
Things it's really.
Speaker 3 (01:35:36):
Sad is part of the problem here is that this
is a song that draditionally Involves, christmas And christmas is
a religious, holiday and the far left wants us to
do away with all religious holidays because it causes us
to worship something other than.
Speaker 15 (01:35:51):
Them absolutely, absolutely you know that is the. Answer the
answer is for people to turn to to religion and
to spiritual. Things and you're absolutely. Right you, Know democrat
party wants to be The god of the, home The
god of the. Family they want to distribute, goods they
want to be the person that takes care of, everyone
(01:36:13):
and so you're absolutely, right that's at the root of.
It BUT i think it's even probably simpler than. THAT
i literally think that they just they need it To
they want to be divisive and they want to divide.
People AND i think when they see that the races
are coming together and that's one thing that we all
come together over Is christmas and the celebrated these, holidays
(01:36:34):
and so they seek to divide us even all the
things that we come together. On AND i it's it's.
SAD i think it's much simpler than even just the spiritual.
CONTEXT i think deep down that's what they want to,
do but it's a it's something that we have to
all come together and start ignoring, them you. Know AND
i think there are people that truly experience, racism but
(01:36:56):
they don't get heard because of these these you, know
false flash that they throw up all the. Time AND
i think it's something that that society is such so
much better off if we just just discount these, people ignore.
Them and so it's shameful that it. Happens we have
to call it, out, unfortunately because she has so many.
Followers but call it, out make fun of, it mock,
(01:37:17):

because ninety seven percent of us feel like our pets
are part of the, family and that these pets are
dependent on us for food and shelter and medical care
and training and transportation and daily, living just like a
kid would. Be would it be a bad idea to

Well i'm surprised that they have not shown us that
they have more evidence that could lead them to.
Speaker 2 (01:54:42):
This individual that.
Speaker 51 (01:54:44):
Is kind of appalling in this day and age that
we don't even have other angles of, you know a
fuzzy person. Walking by, you know it's all the cameras that.
We have you think that they would have some type
of evidence that would put a person in a, certain
place whether it be the geolocating that you do by using,
(01:55:04):
cell phones where there's the key cars to get in.
The building, you know it was four o'clock On, a

not an area where there's massive amounts of people congregated
in an unsecured location like a special event or a.
Food court this was an engineering building On a saturday
(01:55:26):
THAT usually i believe most of the buildings there fq cars.
After HOURS so i. CAN'T believe i don't know why
this information is not coming out on who these people
were and who they may have had, contact with because,
to me this just screams that person knew people or
a person in that.

Area and he was.
Speaker 16 (01:55:47):

Speaker 3 (01:55:48):
You, would think first, Of all i'm shocked that, there isn't,
you know video from the, classroom itself unless they have
it and they are not saying anything. About it you
would think that they would have capability use in all
classrooms on any major university in this day, and age.
Speaker 2 (01:56:03):
Wouldn't, YOU yeah.
Speaker 51 (01:56:06):
I guess i don't know what the legality is of
having it in the, classroom ITSELF but i know that
they have it in the hallways or they have it in.
The entrances and also that university is smacked down in
the middle of a neighborhood with other businesses.
Speaker 2 (01:56:21):
AND homes i just.
Speaker 51 (01:56:22):
Can't believe nobody else has a ring camera or something
that they didn't have. Up There and i'll tell you
something else that's really been bothering me is this we
have and all these incidents that, we had we'll have
one good brief and then we'll have like five absolutely
horrific briefs that don't do anything by politicians that don't
know how to brief and law enforcement that doesn't really
(01:56:43):
know what's. Going on so there has to be some
standardization in how they give. These briefs people need to
know certain information and if the politicians can't feed it,
to us then law enforcement needs to be able to.
Speaker 2 (01:56:57):
Do that but it needs to.
Speaker 3 (01:56:58):
Be standardized only have about, thirty, seconds sir but if
you could tell me what do? You think who do
you think from a, profile standpoint who do you THINK
the fbi is?
Speaker 2 (01:57:05):
LOOKING for.
Speaker 51 (01:57:08):
I think they're probably looking for somebody who's connected. That
building is there somebody who, worked there somebody took? Classes
there and then the people that. WERE killed i would
focus very closely on those two individuals that. Were killed
the other people, were wounded but those two people were
KILLED and i think that they were.
Speaker 2 (01:57:24):
