So it could have been a whole different kind of
New Year's in southern California if this plot had come
to fruition. Luckily it didn't, and we have four people
under arrest. Again far left extremists, I mean, anti capitalist,
anti government, pro Palestinian. Evidently from what we're hearing join
us to talk about it is Jeff Atticutt at the

Warrior Defense Project. How many of these kinds of people
are just kind of out there in our country, do
you suspect, Jeff?

Speaker 2 (00:30):
Well, the numbers are growing because of the rhetoric on
the far left about you know, anti ice. In fact,
they've arrested a fifth member of this group just recently,
and he was going to plan a bomb attack in
New Orleans against ICE facilities. So we're up to five
members now that have been arrested. So the numbers are growing, unfortunately.

And again, terrorism is a tactic that's used by a
variety of different types of groups. Right wing extremists, left
wing extreamists, radical Islamic extremists. The number one threats always
radical Islam, and number two, neck and neck is either
criminal nut jobs to go into schools and kill people,
or left wing extremists the right wing extremist group is
actually the smallest number of all, despite the Biden administration's

rhetoric that was the greatest threat.

Speaker 1 (01:18):
I don't think that probably a lot of people had
heard the name Turtle Island Liberation Front up until this
particular incident. What do we know about this group?

Speaker 2 (01:27):
Yeah, it's like Theinese Liberation Army back in the day.
Nobody ever heard of that group either, but similar types
of organization. They hate capitalism, and that's the red thread
throughout all far left organizations. They hate capitalism. And of course,
you know, as a Christian, thou shalt not steal and
thou shalt not lost after your neighbour's property. God's a capitalist,
So they're all an established capitalism. They're disoriented reality, and

there are breeding bound of course is in state the
Blue states like California and uh, you know Oregon. When
you see the Antifa movements, that their largest. So it's
a growing threat and these people are disoriented reality. They
will destroy if they could, our entire.

Speaker 1 (02:11):
Nation or the suspect we're caught in the Mohabi desert.
Evidently they're working on their improvised explosive devices and testing them.
Where do these groups get the materials to make these
in the knowledge to make these types of weapons.

Speaker 2 (02:25):
The Internet, even if all this stuff on the internet,
you can make napalm, all sorts of act things right
on the internet's really available. And of course they're out
there trying to practice. And thank goodness for the FBI
because in many cases you don't want to move in
too closely, or rather the dog DJ and the FBI together,

you don't want to move in too closely because then
you can't charge them with the more serious crimes. And
so they allowed these individuals to develop, to get out
there to gather the materials. They're watching them all the time.

So that goodness withah because you don't want to move
in too closely. They've been watching these folks for a
long time. Allow them to get up to the point
where they're almost going to lost the attack. That's when
you make the arrest because you've got evidence. Now the
charge them with the more serious offenses.

And where and where do they get their belief system?
How do these people become radicalized? Are they being radicalized
at the university level. Do you suspect is that also
an online feature that they're getting radicalized there?

Speaker 2 (03:33):
Well in modern terminology, yeah, that's the universities are hotbeds
of anti capitalism, uh, you know, all sorts of nonsense
like DEI and Wokes activities and and so yeah, they're
they're they're getting radicalized there. But also online is probably
the biggest source where they h you know, they get
involved in these types of activities and and away you go.

And so yeah, it's it's a danger. It's always been here,
but with the you know, with the Internet and AI
even you're going to see a proliferation of these types
of groups and these types of individuals. And it doesn't
help that we've got politicians that engage in the most
disgusting rhetoric about their opponents that's just way over the top,
and you have understable people that listen to that.
