April Kae, artist and viral bassist in the band Fever 333, used to live her life to please others. From eating disorders to clothing, she erased herself and her curves in the pursuit of safety. She unsuccessfully chased happiness and self-worth through her devotion to caretaking and marriage, starving herself emotionally in the process.
