Not only does Aleanya excel in her role as a Dean, but she is also currently pursuing her Ph.D., with plans to complete her studies in the spring of 2025. Her determination and ambition are truly admirable. 💪📚
In addition to her professional achievements, Aleanya serves as the Executive Director of an organization that supports and mentors around 75 girls each year. Her ability to inspire, motivate, and mentor these young girls has had a profound and lasting effect on their lives. It's no wonder she was chosen as Ms. Black Midwest USA! 🌹
As Ms. Black Midwest USA, Aleanya will be spreading her message of the journey from Pain to Purpose throughout the Midwest, leading up to her participation in the Miss Black USA competition in August 2024. We applaud her exceptional achievements and leadership qualities. 👑💫
Beyond her work and pageant duties, Aleanya is also a devoted mother to her eleven-year-old daughter, Imani. Despite facing challenges growing up without her own mother, Aleanya prioritizes being a role model and constant presence in her daughter's life. She supports Imani's involvement in various activities like swim club, dance, and cheerleading, breaking the cycle of absentee parenting. Aleanya's dedication to being the role model her daughter needs is truly inspiring. 👩👧❤️
