But that’s not all. Newly released images from Kohberger’s apartment offer a rare look inside his private world. Far from the clutter of a normal graduate student, his space was stripped down to bare walls, minimal belongings, and an almost sterile environment. Perhaps most startling: investigators discovered a prescription in his apartment for levothyroxine, a thyroid medication. While commonly used and safe for millions, in the context of Kohberger’s other self-reported conditions — autism spectrum, OCD, ADHD, ARFID — it raises questions about whether he was properly medicated, mismedicated, or even taking it at all. Could untreated or poorly managed health conditions have fed into his volatile state of mind?
