Just like her great-aunt Audrey Hepburn, Roma has spent her life helping others. But behind her drive lies deep personal loss. A childhood tragedy—the suicide of her father, someone she loved—left a lasting impact on her mental health. She has since used that experience to help others find hope after loss.

Her work in prison reform led her to establish the Prison Radio Service, giving a voice to young offenders and changing lives along the way—an achievement that earned her an OBE in 2017. As well as, the inspiring story of how she was awarded the Royal Humane Society Award in 1977.

This episode is about grief, healing, and turning pain into purpose—and how to rebuild after losing someone to suicide.
