In this episode we delve into the incredible story of the late Coolio who sadly passed away in 2022. As we take a look back on his tough upbringing, raised in Compton and his courageous rise to stardom as a hip hop artist from the hood who provided us with brilliant hits like Gangsta's Paradise and Fantastic Voyage giving outsiders an insight into the struggles of daily life for the people of Compton who often battle with drug addiction and crime. We learn about Coolio's past jobs such as a fire fighter, the extreme and violent lengths his mother would go to, to protect him and how Coolio earned himself a recording contract among many other interesting story's.
