Tokyo, 2016:
One night, just as they were returning home from a long day, best friends Jiang Ge & Liu Xin suddenly found themselves being chased by Liu Xin’s stalker ex-boyfriend, Chen Shifeng.
But only 1 of the 2 girls would make it into the flat, safely away from him, while the other would find herself locked outside, trapped.
Afterwards, the surviving friend who’d made it safely inside was treated as China’s public enemy number 1. To the point she’d be forced into a tearful televised interrogation…but maybe though a victim herself, there were reasons for people’s anger. Maybe she and her words weren't all as they seemed…
