Los Angeles, 2005:
A young Kesha has just been kicked out of Paris Hilton’s house party for throwing up in a shoe closet, only the events that would follow this, would change the trajectory of her life forever.
That same night, her producer, Dr Luke walked Kesha back to his hotel room at the Mondrian Hotel, a quick walk from Paris’ house. But after arriving, Kesha would black out, her memory of the rest of the night wiped - only to awaken the next morning with a very bad, dark feeling…
What followed was not only a decade-long fight to get to the bottom of what happened in that hotel room, but also a legal battle, to finally be released from the man who Kesha was convinced was her abuser.
