Candidates for California governor said on Tuesday they were horrified when they learned about the mass shooting at a child's birthday party in Stockton that took the lives of four people and injured 13 others. A handful of candidates were in Sacramento for the California School Board Association's annual meeting. CSBA held a forum with the candidates, including Republican Riverside Sheriff Chad Bianco and Democrats State Superintendent of Public Instruction Tony Thurmond, former Los Angeles Mayor Antonio Villaraigosa, former State Assemblyman Ian Calderon, and former State Controller Betty Yee.
