When a young family snagged a cozy starter-home just before 2020, the only warning came from a neighbor who whispered, “This whole subdivision is one big poltergeist.” They laughed it off—until the baby monitor broadcast a gentle, disembodied shhh, a toddler pointed down the hallway and asked, “Who’s that man?”, and a blind father slammed the bedroom door on a presence he couldn’t see but definitely felt.
