This month, South West Tech Daily brings you three contenders in this year's Esports Festival SW 2023 at Exeter College.
Will last year's winners take the Esports trophy again? They've certainly been training for it and are quietly confident they will be the 2023 Esports Festival Winners at Exeter College.
But... so have the Rowe Bots - Hannah Rowe from Rowe IT based in Plymouth believes her team are a sure thing. Rowe IT are one of the sponsors and their main aim is to bring more skills and boost aspiration in the South West, which Hannah tells us in the podcast is something she's supremely passionate about.
Events/ Sponsorship manager at Jurassic Fibre (Team Name: Get Jurass Kicked) Annabel McCabe is pretty sure her team are going to BRING IT this year. They're also sponsoring this year's Esports Festival SW, as part of their drive to get the south west of England connected.
And lastly, we have Matthew Harris and Richard Godfrey who are from last year's winners - Rocketmakers (with the no-nonsense Team Name: Rocketmakers). They told us about their training regime and some cool new software that will help when we all move to the Metaverse.
