Since starting a sustainability journey a couple of years ago, Sheffield Children's Hospital have worked very hard to reduce the use of single use plastics for their Nutricia Homeward tube feeding patients. Working closely with parents and Nutricia, Marie and her team wanted to demonstrate that reusing giving sets was not only safe but would have huge benefits in reducing single-use plastic waste. Marie outlined how the project came about, and how it ultimately helped herself, her team and the parents of patients to overcome their reservations about reusing giving sets.
