29: Navigating the NDIS

This weeks guest is Tammy Whait from Inclusion Support Services. Having raised two children with autism, Tammy is not only experienced with the NDIS from a parent perspective, but she has also set up her own service to improve access to the NDIS for other parents. Tammy has gone through

the process and is well aware of some of the hurdles that might need to be overcome. On this episode, I ask her about where the NDIS is available, who is eligible for NDIS funding, how to access the funding and the easiest pathway to take when you are stuck.

I feel the NDIS is quite misunderstood from both a healthcare perspective and parent perspective.
