SPEAKER_00 (00:00):
Brothers and sisters, the Bible is not

(00:07):
supposed to be used as a weaponto fight with another believer.
Brothers and sisters, it isimperative that we understand
the true purpose of the HolyBible within our spiritual walk.
It is not, and was neverintended to be, a weapon for
internal conflict amongst fellowbelievers.

(00:29):
Far too often, in our zeal orour disagreements, we can fall
into the trap of using God'sWord as a bludgeon, citing
verses out of context or with aharsher spirit, all in an
attempt to win an argument orcondemn another.
Brothers and sisters, thisapproach distorts the very

(00:50):
essence of what the Bible is.
It is a guide for life, a sourceof comfort, a wellspring of
wisdom, and a revelation ofGod's boundless love and grace.
It is designed to build up, toencourage, to teach, and to
correct with gentleness andpatience.

(01:10):
When we use it to tear down toshame or to hurt, we are not
only misrepresenting itspurpose, but also damaging the
fabric of Christian fellowship.
Brothers and sisters, ourinteractions with one another,
especially when differencesarise, should always be
characterized by love, humility, and a genuine desire for

(01:34):
understanding.
Instead of seeking to prove ourown righteousness or knowledge
through Scripture, we shouldstrive to exemplify the fruits
of the Spirit—love, joy, peace, forbearance, kindness, goodness,
faithfulness, gentleness, andself-control.

(01:54):
To wield it against one anotherin theological debates or
personal disagreements is toprofoundly misunderstand its
divine intent.
Such actions are only serve tocreate division, foster
resentment, and weaken the veryfabric of our Christian
community.
Instead, brothers and sisters, let us come together in unity,

(02:17):
bound by our shared faith andlove for Christ.
Let us teach one another, through patient instruction and
humble example, how to properlyutilize this sacred text.
The Bible is, in fact, apowerful weapon, but its true
adversary is not our brother orsister in faith.

(02:38):
Its purpose is to equip us forspiritual warfare against the
true enemy, Satan and all of hismalevolent devices.
With the Word of God as oursword, we are called to stand
firm against temptation, lies, and the schemes of darkness.
It is our guide to discern truthfrom deception, our source of

(03:02):
strength in times of weakness, and our beacon of hope in the
face of despair.
Let us collectively learn toapply its wisdom to conquer sin
within ourselves, to dismantlestrongholds of unrighteousness
in the world, and to advance thekingdom of God.
Brothers and sisters, may ouruse of the Bible always reflect

(03:26):
its holy origin and its ultimateaim.
That is to get closer to God bylearning all you can about Him
through His Word, obeying whatit says, applying it to our
lives in order to bring glory toGod and to unify His people for
His divine purposes.

UNKNOWN (03:50):
Amen.
