another thing that I say that people don't like to hear.
Lit oppd's job. All right. OPPD has X number of
crews which is based on the land mass that they
cover here across the OPPD area, which, by the way,

is not just your home here in uh in Granola,
crunching midtown. They've got the whole area. How many counties
are in this OPPD coverage here? One, two, three, four, five, six, seven, eight, nine, ten, eleven, twelve,
thirty parts of fourteen all are part of fourteen counties

are in the OPPD service area. So you're sitting there
at like fifty second in Blondo, sitting there crunching your
granola with your blue dot sign in the yard. You
went out there and dug out a little hole around
your blue dot signs. People can see you a blue
dot sign and you're sitting there going, well, how come
they'll come out and trim r trees? Well, here, here's why, madge,

Because there's more area that they have to look at
than just your stupid house. So here's what happens. This
is your responsibility. Oh oh, I'm not going all right,
then fine, then the wind comes up. You've got your
big silver maple. They're hanging over these power lines and

you see it every single day and you don't do
anything about it. You're not gonna pay a crew to
come out there or get up there and do it yourself.
You're not gonna pay. I'd pay the neighbor kid eight bucks. Hey,
go up there with a chainsawn, take that tree limb down. Okay, mister,
you know, hey, do you want it down or not.
Everyone's sitting there with their mouth open, going when's the

government gonna take care of this for me? This is
Trump's fault. It's your yard. Look out your window once
in a while at something other and then you know,
what's that guy doing. What's that guy doing? What's that
guy doing? Look out there on your property and say,
all right, I got power lines and trees on my property.

The trees are hanging over precariously in the power lines.
That's going to knock out power to the entire neighborhood.
I If you call o PPD and say here's an
area you want to focus on, hopefully they'll get to it.
But then you're not going to like how they trim
your tree, because they're not going to do like the
let's make sure this is all beautifully pruned, and they're

gonna come out there and just going to whack away
at everything. So if you want it done the way
you want it, you've got to call one of these
tree companies and they're gonna come out and they're going
to trim your tree. And this is something that you
can see out of your window when you're not just
scowling at kids riding their bikes in the sidewalk. What
are they up to take a look once in a while.

And if everyone looks at their own property and it
kind of manages their own bees and ass then we
won't be in this situation where we still got thirty
four th six hundred and sixty customers without power.

You can't do it yourself, some people point.

Some people can. If you don't think you can do
it yourself, don't do.

It, okay. And if you do it yourself, then OPBD
is gonna come. And because it's on a list, of course,
someplace to get to it eventually, I know. But then
they're gonna come there and they're gonna say, no, that's
not good enough because they like to chop it up
like crazy, and it looks like I know.

That's what they do. They come out there and they're like,
all right, uh, there's there's one little branch hanging over
this tree limb or this power line take out half
the tree. People are like, hey, what my twee. Well
there was a problem. We fixed it. If you want
it done the way you want it, it's up to you. Look,

home ownership is expensive. It's a pain in the artist
and it's expensive. And if you want stuff done on
your property the way you want it done, you either
do it yourself or you have it hired and you
sit over there and you say, let's talk about this
before you do it, and this is the way I
want it done. And if you feel good about this
is the crew that's gonna do it, then you pay

them some money. You agree upon that payment, and they
go out and do it. What is offensive about what
I just said. I'm gonna have people email me going, oh,
you're gonna get people killed. You're gonna have people out
there just up there hanging off the tree, the power
lines just whacking away at their tree.
