Yeah, that's true.
Speaker 2 (00:57):
And the fact that it's Tuesday, which means it is
almost Wednesday. It's not really saying much.
Speaker 3 (01:01):
She's an optimist.
Speaker 4 (01:02):
He's a glasses half full kind of person, and I
respect that me too. I'm a glasses it's just half. Yeah,
I'm a realist. That glass is half.
Speaker 3 (01:10):
It's just half. You got half a glass?
Speaker 2 (01:12):
Yeah, I'm very negative. I'm like, oh, we still got
halfway to go, Like.
Speaker 4 (01:16):
Jess, are you feeling positive? Are you glasses half full?
Speaker 3 (01:19):
On this week?
Speaker 8 (01:20):
Like?
Speaker 3 (01:20):
Man, this week's flying by. Here we are Tuesday.
Speaker 7 (01:22):
I tried to be half full, got it.
Speaker 3 (01:24):
It's a little hardime, But how are you feeling today
on this Tuesday?
Speaker 7 (01:27):
I'm feeling very like it's Tuesday.
Speaker 3 (01:28):
Like world's long this week?
Speaker 2 (01:29):
Ever, I mean, how are you feeling after those jelly
beans yesterday?
Speaker 9 (01:33):
My mouth tasted like burnt rubber for like a couple hours.
Speaker 4 (01:37):
Good because we have a couple more for you pick
and the jelly bean drafted if you missed it. Yesterday
just had to pay off for the bet that she
and I made over the Niners New York Giants football game,
and she had to eat a bunch of the jelly
belly bean boozled awful tasting jelly beans, old bandage, wet dogs,
stink bug, burnt rubber, booger, barf, dead fish, she hade,
(02:00):
a whole bunch of those. You guys, my kids are
begging me because I told them all about it and
they thought it was hysterical, and they said, are there
anymore we want to try them?
Speaker 10 (02:11):
Oh?
Speaker 2 (02:11):
Are you wrong with your kids?
Speaker 3 (02:13):
Are you sick? Are you disgusting?
Speaker 11 (02:15):
Like?
Speaker 3 (02:15):
Did you hear the flavors?
Speaker 12 (02:16):
I just rattled off and uh, there was another bag
right there is a When I ordered them, I ordered
two bags, and so I said, do you really want
me to bring the other the second bag that we
have home?
Speaker 13 (02:27):
Oh?
Speaker 3 (02:27):
Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, we want it.
Speaker 4 (02:29):
I was like, well, what happens if you get stink bug?
Jess said that was one of the worst things she's
ever tasted. They're like, well, it's just that's part of
the fun.
Speaker 7 (02:36):
What is wrong with your.
Speaker 3 (02:37):
I'll be bringing it home and.
Speaker 4 (02:39):
Let them have at it. I think we need more
candy right now, but I don't know what they're thinking.
Speaker 2 (02:43):
Are you going to record it?
Speaker 3 (02:45):
I might have to.
Speaker 4 (02:46):
I feel like.
Speaker 3 (02:48):
I'm not touching the uh uh no, thank you?
Speaker 2 (02:51):
If they absolutely like, like, I know for a fact
my kids would hate these. Does it be a really
good punishment for kids?
Speaker 3 (02:57):
I know.
Speaker 4 (02:57):
I didn't want to bring this bag home because it's
a good punishment for us to have here on the
JV Show. We need punishment sometimes at things a bet
so I was like, I'll keep this back here for
safe keeping and we're going to use it.
Speaker 3 (03:07):
But my kids really want it.
Speaker 2 (03:08):
You guys, oh my god, there's psychopaths. No worry you
about what's.
Speaker 4 (03:12):
Wrong with them a little bit. I think they're going
to learn their lesson once they taste the stink bug.
Speaker 2 (03:16):
I don't think so, because my daughter played multiple times,
loves them, loves the game.
Speaker 4 (03:20):
They've been begging for the game, to get the actual game,
because isn't there one where you like.
Speaker 2 (03:24):
Yeah yeah, I like an actual game. Yeah yeah.
Speaker 4 (03:27):
They want that bad and they want me to play
with them. Of course, I don't want you disgusting. You're sick,
all right.
Speaker 2 (03:35):
Coming up next on the JV Show, Little John put
out a new Guided Meditations album. This is like the
remix album, so get Low is on there, but like
Remix and guided meditation. Do you guys want to hear
some of the Sure, we'll do that next.

The four things you need a heads up on to
start your day.

It's selection day, people, get out there and make your
voice heard. Of course, one of the biggest things we'll
be voting on here in California is top fifty. And
if you miss the only thing. Yeah, I think there's
a few other things, but what people really give the
part about if you missed the voter registration deadline, you
can still do the same day registration at any in
person voting location within your county.
Speaker 3 (04:17):
So get out there, yes, please.
Speaker 4 (04:19):
After a hot start to the NBA season, the Warriors
seem to have cooled off of it. They find themselves
looking for a win tonight Chase Center. The Warriors lost
their last two games on the road against the Bucks
and then the Pacers. There they're gonna be hosting the
Phoenix Suns, who come into tonight's game having won their
last two games. Tip Off tonight is at seven o'clock.

Speaker 9 (04:42):
Arrives tomorrow partly cloudy slash partly sunny skies with highs
in the mid sixties to low seventies.
Speaker 3 (04:50):
When does it start raining.
Speaker 7 (04:52):
Tonight and then through tomorrow? Yeah?
Speaker 4 (04:55):
Heyjemn, I bestie, howee here today? Today is going to
be an eight. You've been seeking advice lately on a
big decision that's looming. Today is the day that it arrives,
so don't brush it off because it could prove to
be very valuable. It might come from a trusted family
member or even a total stranger, so keep an open mind.
Speaker 7 (05:13):
Nice.
Speaker 2 (05:15):
Coming up next, you're on the JV.
Speaker 11 (05:16):
Show, The JV Show on Wild ninety four nine.
Speaker 13 (05:24):
Morning JV Family. This is Brook from Birmingham, Alabama. I
hope I win a Chuck Mug finally because I've never
won one. And I hope that you all have an
awesome day. Yeah, have a good day.
Speaker 9 (05:34):
Fight.
Speaker 7 (05:35):
Hey, thank you?
Speaker 2 (05:36):
Nice?
Speaker 3 (05:42):
Yeah, Brook from Alabama? How does she not want a
Chuck Mug?
Speaker 2 (05:46):
I know, seven o five. I feel like today's going
to be your day. Come on, Brook, It's Wildy for
nine in the Bays and never went hit music station.
I'm Selina Graham and I'm where the JV Show Morning
JV Show from I got engaged this past week and
my I planned a proposal weekend down a Monterey with
my girlfriend.
Speaker 10 (06:05):
We stayed at seven Gables in It was a super
romantic She had no idea I was going to propose.
Speaker 2 (06:11):
And wasn't right.
Speaker 10 (06:13):
When I was in the middle of my speech, I
started crying, so I needed a second and then she
gave me a speech and proposed to me. Oh I
lot being gay, but who gets far?
Speaker 2 (06:21):
That is no cool? Nice, congratulations, Nice you guys. All right,
So last week Little John put out another guided meditation album, not.
Speaker 7 (06:41):
His first one.
Speaker 2 (06:42):
We've talked about his previous you know albums you did before.
This is a remix album though, so all of his
biggest hit songs he remixed into guided meditations that you
can play and you know, listen to as you sleep.
I guess, okay, drive on the grass I don't.
Speaker 7 (07:01):
I don't really know.
Speaker 2 (07:02):
But it's like every single song, you took the title
of it and then like applied it toda meditation and
like the universe.
Speaker 14 (07:10):
This meditation can be used to help you get low
and connect to the Earth. What I'm talking about is
grounding Earth has important nutrients and elements that can help
replenish us and refuel us.
Speaker 2 (07:29):
So that's the get low remix.
Speaker 4 (07:31):
Okay, guy, I was getting pretty Yeah, I was getting
pretty calm over here.
Speaker 1 (07:35):
Yeah.
Speaker 2 (07:36):
I never knew he could sound like this. He's not
like the little giant I remember. He's all about wellness
and meditation. He's a bodybuilder. Now, remember we talked about.
Speaker 15 (07:43):
That recently, turned down for what to hear the quietness
around you?
Speaker 2 (07:52):
And did everyone to close their eyes, especially if you're
driving ye to hear.
Speaker 15 (07:56):
That voice with them?
Speaker 2 (08:04):
Yeah, oh, brand, wake up, wake up. We're not done here.
Speaker 15 (08:10):
We're not the boys that is, not thinking or judging,
or watching or worrying about anything.
Speaker 4 (08:19):
Yeah, don't worry about anything.
Speaker 3 (08:21):
Turned down for what? I was turned down there for
a second?
Speaker 7 (08:25):
Turned down too much?
Speaker 4 (08:26):
Yeah?
Speaker 3 (08:27):
Completely, I went back to bed.
Speaker 2 (08:30):
This is the yeah remix. Oh wait, you know what,
I think I should turn the volume up for you guys.
Sorry about that.
Speaker 8 (08:36):
Today we're going to take a moment to say yeah
yeah to life. If you're feeling stressed out or your
life is just a little out of whack, it may
be time to take a deep breath, relax, and say yeah, yeah,
(08:58):
I think this.
Speaker 4 (08:59):
Is not old. Are people taking this serious or is
it just the novelty of it? Are people actually, do
you think laying out their yoga matt today and they're
doing some deep breathing and meditating to turn down for what?
Speaker 2 (09:12):
I don't know, probably know, I don't think. So. However,
some people in the comments are like, Hey, I do yoga.
I am going to start using this so I'm a
yoga instructor. I'm putting this into rotation in my classes.
He is really serious about it. He says meditation like
changed his life. Okay, I believe he's serious about it.
Speaker 4 (09:27):
That's all fine, But I'm sure it's hard.
Speaker 2 (09:31):
I'm sorry, it's just hard to take it serious.
Speaker 7 (09:32):
It is.
Speaker 3 (09:33):
It's hard to detach yourself from like what it is.
Speaker 7 (09:36):
But music is medicine, you guys. Music is medicine.
Speaker 2 (09:40):
What.
Speaker 9 (09:40):
I don't know if you've heard about this, but in Canada,
some physicians are going to start actually prescribing that people
go to the orchestra as part of their treatment.
Speaker 2 (09:50):
That sounds like a punishment.
Speaker 4 (09:51):
Yeah, I gotta say the entire time. Can I leave
the intermission?
Speaker 13 (09:55):
No?
Speaker 7 (09:55):
But really, like, what do you guys think about that.
Speaker 9 (09:57):
Okay, maybe let's say not the orchestra, but let's say
something like, let's say some other musical performance like a concert.
A concert, okay, I would like that.
Speaker 4 (10:06):
Can't I just play it?
Speaker 3 (10:07):
Do I have to go there?
Speaker 4 (10:08):
Can't I just play it in my headphone?
Speaker 2 (10:10):
What if it was a concert you wanted to go
to and like the doctor was like, this is gonna
do you some good. It's gonna get you out of
the house around people.
Speaker 3 (10:16):
Do you get me out of work?
Speaker 2 (10:18):
Yeah, doctor's orders perfect.
Speaker 3 (10:20):
I'll show that doctor's note proudly.
Speaker 4 (10:22):
Sorry, guys, I gotta be prescribing go to a concert today.
Speaker 9 (10:26):
Well, the orchestra teamed up with a national physicians organization,
so then they developed a program to so that it
would allow the doctors to have access to the free
tickets to the shows and then they would prescribe them
to their patients.
Speaker 3 (10:39):
That sounds like a scam.
Speaker 4 (10:40):
Wow, butts in the seats the show is like nobody
gives them damn any more.
Speaker 3 (10:48):
Can you roll some sick people in here?
Speaker 15 (10:50):
Please?
Speaker 3 (10:50):
Doctor? We need some seat fillers.
Speaker 4 (10:54):
Nobody that's too too coffee or like sneezy, but everybody
else bring them in sick just fine.
Speaker 7 (11:00):
Wait, I liked it lot. I thought it was really
so they could.
Speaker 2 (11:02):
Like prescribe like happiness, like get out there, go be happy.
Speaker 4 (11:05):
Get I'm sure there are our studies that show music
can have that effect on your mood and sorts of
positive things in your body.
Speaker 3 (11:12):
I'm sure there's something to that.
Speaker 9 (11:14):
And they say it's, you know, something to help reduce
like loneliness, improve like your health in general, get you
out of there, out of the house, you know, something nice.
Speaker 2 (11:22):
I just don't want the orchestra part of it. But
if they're like prescribing the tickets to like sexy ride
or something, I mean, then you're in.
Speaker 3 (11:30):
Yeah, okay, what were you sick with that you need
some sexy red.
Speaker 2 (11:37):
Razor blade covid?
Speaker 3 (11:39):
Oh got it? Yeah, I just went through that. It's
not fun.
Speaker 2 (11:41):
Did did you think, because you mentioned that on Friday
that you think you're coming down the razor blade covid?
Did you really have it almost?
Speaker 4 (11:47):
I don't know. I mean that on Friday and Saturday
it felt like I was swallowing razor blades, So does
that mean that's what it was?
Speaker 3 (11:54):
I don't know. Sore throats A sore throat?
Speaker 7 (11:56):
When did it come with the cough and the whole bang.
Speaker 2 (11:59):
Yeah, I don't know, fatigue, body aches.
Speaker 4 (12:01):
I was a little tired. I was a little fatigued,
but I don't know. Again that just to scribe. You
type that into web MD, it's gonna come back everything,
four hundred different things.
Speaker 7 (12:10):
You feel better now?
Speaker 4 (12:11):
Yeah, okay.
Speaker 7 (12:12):
See if it would have been Selena, she would have
been sick for like the horror.
Speaker 2 (12:15):
I don't know why this is last like three weeks.
Speaker 4 (12:18):
I usually get through mine quick, knock on wood, but
this one I felt like this one lingered longer than most.
Usually it's like one day thing for me, good as nail,
but one day, Wow, this one.
Speaker 7 (12:27):
No orchestra for you, Graham, Sorry, no, sorry.
Speaker 3 (12:31):
Doc, I've been healed.
Speaker 4 (12:33):
You don't need to send me to the symphony.
Speaker 1 (12:35):
The JV Show on Wild ninety four nine.
Speaker 2 (12:38):
Happy Tuesday, The JV Show. Here, I'm Selena and I'm
Just and let's talk TV.
Speaker 9 (12:43):
You guys, there's a new season of Selling Sunset on Netflix.
Speaker 4 (12:48):
Wait, I just watched a bunch of more episodes of
Love Is Blind.
Speaker 3 (12:52):
We're pat You guys have already moved on.
Speaker 9 (12:53):
Yeah, Gram, Sorry, dang it, you were too behind. But
once you catch up with the reunion and maybe we'll
talk a little bit more aboutcast.
Speaker 7 (13:02):
Took care of your thoughts.
Speaker 9 (13:03):
But selling sensive, you've never watched it. It's basically a
group of glamorous ladies. They have beef with each other
and then they also sell houses on the side in
the la market. But I want to know if you
think that this woman is doing too much because she
is talking to one of her friends. She does not
(13:23):
like who her best friend is dating, and she says
he's childish, controlling, he wants to isolate her from her
family and friends. But this like, she's very vocal about
not liking him. And this is what she says to
her friend.
Speaker 5 (13:38):
That I unfortunately have to be that annoying friend that's
not happy for her.
Speaker 9 (13:43):
Sometimes tough love is the only way to go about
it if you genuinely care about them as your friend.
Speaker 2 (13:48):
It's hard to watch.
Speaker 16 (13:49):
You be with someone that doesn't treat you the way
that you deserve.
Speaker 4 (13:52):
To be treated.
Speaker 9 (13:53):
So is it okay to be very upfront with one
of your friends when who they are dating is someone
you don't like?
Speaker 2 (14:02):
Ladies, Yes, but it has there has to be a
valid reason why you don't like them if they are.
I'm sorry, but isolating somebody from their family and friends,
that's a form of abuse and manipulation. Yes, be vocal
about that. But if you don't like the guy because
of his haircut or his receiving hairline, like, those are
things you can keep to yourself. Okay.
Speaker 4 (14:20):
That's how you just get like very player vibes and
you hear stories that he's out and about with other
ladies and stuff like that. You don't have any factual
evidence to back it up, but that's just like the
vibe you're getting stuff you're hearing about him.
Speaker 3 (14:34):
You think he's a bad I think you're so bad,
do you?
Speaker 7 (14:37):
I think you have Wow.
Speaker 4 (14:39):
I think you say that now, like as we're discussing it,
but I don't think you actually say it.
Speaker 7 (14:45):
As a friend.
Speaker 2 (14:46):
I think you say something, But don't be upset if
they don't take your advice. It's your job. I won't
they won't, and it's your job to still be there
for them no matter how many times they come running
to you crying about the same thing over and over.
Because I've been that friend, it's your job to still there.
Speaker 4 (15:00):
But if you know they're not going to take the advice.
Why even say it at all, because as you want
to be able to say I told you so.
Speaker 2 (15:06):
Something, never do that, but just to show that you
have their because they're listening, even if they don't act
in your advice, and they're hearing it.
Speaker 7 (15:12):
They're listening, even if you sound like a broken record.
But it could get a little.
Speaker 9 (15:17):
Tricky because then this is how the woman is feeling.
This is the actual woman that is dating the controlling guy.
Speaker 17 (15:23):
Things have been a little intense with Krishelle and I
since we last spoke. It doesn't feel like she's ever
going to be supportive of Blake and I dating. However,
who I date is my choice. We've been dating for
about a year now. It's pretty serious, so it makes
it difficult to share part of my life with my.
Speaker 2 (15:40):
Best friend when she's not supportive of the situation.
Speaker 9 (15:43):
It's right they start to maybe not tell you everything anymore.
If they're like, hey, I tell you a good thing
and you shut it down, and judge, I tell you
a bad thing and you use that as fuel to
bash on him some more.
Speaker 7 (15:55):
So I'm not going to tell you anything anymore.
Speaker 4 (15:57):
So that's that's going to cause a rift in the
friendship going to be that you're not going to be
as close to a friend. Like I couldn't imagine having
a really close friend that just did not like my
wife now, you know.
Speaker 9 (16:08):
Yeah, it's tough though, because then as a friend, if
you are hearing all these things about your best friend's
significant other, if you hold that information in and then
your best friend ends up finding out eventually, then there
might be a point when where they're like, well, why
didn't you tell me if you had all this information.
Speaker 2 (16:25):
I just think if you see that person happy, you
still have to be supportive, Like I look at it
like this, Like like my sisters, for example, if they
didn't like the person I was dating, they would absolutely
tell me something about and be vocal. But when they
see me in those happy moments, they're going to be
supportive because they see that I'm happy.
Speaker 4 (16:40):
Have you done what I mean?
Speaker 2 (16:41):
So you kind of have to like play both just
to be there for that person.
Speaker 3 (16:45):
Forget it, I guess.
Speaker 7 (16:46):
Because I did have a while back.
Speaker 9 (16:49):
I did have like a situation like this where I
was like, well, I don't know if I should tell,
you know, my bestie to stop trying to talk to
their ex because their ex clearly like is being super
toxic right now, and I didn't. I didn't know whether
it was okay for me to step in or not
because I knew, like Graham said, they were still gonna
go and do it, and so I didn't want to
(17:11):
be the one that just felt like the judgmental friend, right,
But also as a friend, you feel like it's your
duty to say something like Selena said, whether or not
they're gonna take your advice.
Speaker 4 (17:21):
Have you ever told Selena? Have you ever told a
friend that the person that the man their dating is
trash d percent? Really?
Speaker 2 (17:26):
Yeah?
Speaker 3 (17:27):
How did it go?
Speaker 7 (17:28):
They're just, oh, I know he's like this. I mean,
they're gonna make you. I don't excite testify it. I
don't they justify it.
Speaker 2 (17:34):
I don't expect that person to act and everything I
say and be like, you're right, I'm done with that person. No,
I'm going to tell you how I feel, and you
know you'll agree with some things. You know you'll disagree
with other things, And it's really just so you know
your worth at the at the end of this, you
decide what to do. I'm gonna be here with you
every step of the way, regardless of what you decide
because I care about you, but just so you know
(17:54):
you deserve better.
Speaker 4 (17:56):
What if taking that stance in uh, you know, like
that causes you that friend to not be friends with
you anymore, Like she doesn't support our relationship, she doesn't
like my man. Oh no, but would you be still
would you stand by like, oh, I'm still glad I
did it, or would you be like, oh, dang, I
lost a friend over this.
Speaker 2 (18:16):
I would still be glad I did it because when
they break up, she'll come back like, hey, I'm sorry
for how I acted or whatever, and I'll be like
it's fine, Like I'm just I'm glad that you're finally happy.
Speaker 3 (18:24):
Always come calling back.
Speaker 7 (18:27):
About being right or.
Speaker 2 (18:28):
Wrong and having them come crawling back, just always having
that person's back.
Speaker 3 (18:31):
I'm trying to think of this.
Speaker 4 (18:33):
I don't know that this scenario has ever played out
for me, Like I don't think I've ever gone to
a buddy like you should not be dating.
Speaker 3 (18:39):
Her because of act.
Speaker 4 (18:41):
I just feel like we're all like, yeah, we'll talk whatever,
we'll talk smack about it behind his back to each other,
you know, not the actual friend that's in that relationship
that we think is doomed or whatever, and then we'll
just like he'll figure it out.
Speaker 2 (18:51):
Like maybe you guys don't say to each other and
like at least with like and Jess's probably the same
for you us and our friends. It's like we'll call
our friend to talk about it. I don't feel like
guys really do that, right, but we do.
Speaker 4 (19:04):
Guys are deeper than you think we are. At some moments,
I feel like you.
Speaker 9 (19:08):
Just say, oh, yeah, she's hot, bro, Yeah, that's it.
Speaker 4 (19:11):
Hit that I did, Okay, cool, I've said let's go
get some more beers.
Speaker 3 (19:16):
Yeah, no, I mean, we definitely talk about that. I
don't know.
Speaker 4 (19:18):
I've never and I feel like I've been in that
situation where I've known, like, you know, a friend of
mine dating someone that I don't think is you know,
being all truthful with him and stuff like that, and
I just I don't know, I stayed on the sideline.
Speaker 2 (19:32):
I will say a lot of time, I like, I
don't just insert myself where I don't. I don't just
insert myself into everything. But if my friend does call me,
if my friend does call me crying whatever, or she's
going through something, I see that as her opening the door,
like wanting my feedback in my output, and so then
I'll tell her like, yeah, hey, you should be happy.
Speaker 4 (19:53):
I mean, I think your hand on the threat. I
think you're doing the good friend thing to do. It's
easier to sit on the sidelines, like yeah, they'll find
out he's getting to at some point, right.
Speaker 3 (20:03):
He'll be fine.
Speaker 9 (20:05):
Wow, guys are differents so different. But yeah, that's selling
Sunset season nine. Crazy that they've gotten this far.
Speaker 4 (20:12):
But are any of them actually selling stuff or is
it just like they just cast a bunch of ladies
with drama.
Speaker 7 (20:18):
I think they are.
Speaker 9 (20:18):
Selling stuff, at least they make it look like they are, sure,
So I don't know if it's somebody else on the
side selling it for them and they just show up
in their very cute.
Speaker 2 (20:25):
Outfits to yeah I heard they well, I mean not
that I would know for sure, but like I someone
said that they have like the actual people that sell
the houses. They're just not on the show and like
they're there, you know, but they're just like hot.
Speaker 7 (20:39):
But then they made it.
Speaker 3 (20:40):
That's what i'd always heard.
Speaker 2 (20:41):
You get the commission then because they can't. I think
they're license to sell like they can, but they're not
worth keeping that company afloat.
Speaker 4 (20:48):
Yeah, I don't think they're like the brokers that are
grinding doing the actual work now because.
Speaker 2 (20:51):
Maybe they show the houses.
Speaker 9 (20:53):
Yeah, in this new season, someone sold Jojo Siwas's house
for four point one million, Like, dang, because that commission
was a lot.
Speaker 4 (21:02):
It's crazy real estate commissions. Well, I don't want to
anger our real estate agent listeners, but it's like you,
a lot of times you do the same amount of
work selling a house that costs five hundred thousand as
you do selling house it costs three million, and the
pay you get it's a step percentage. So you're like, wait,
why why is this person make so much more than
this person?
Speaker 7 (21:21):
Just the way it is?
Speaker 4 (21:22):
All right?
Speaker 2 (21:23):
Selling Netflix, Today's Hottest trending is coming up next.
Speaker 1 (21:27):
The Hottest Things.
Speaker 18 (21:29):
It's all the stuff you need to know what's hot
in music, movies, shows, and the most talked about stories
happening today in the Bay.
Speaker 2 (21:37):
So, kim Ka just admitted to using chat GPT to
help her with law exams. To be fair, I don't
know if she was actually cheating on the exams. I
doubt that this sounds more like she was using it
to help her study, but listen to this. I mean
she doesn't get into those specifics. That's just an assumption.
But she was taking a light detective test for Vanity
(21:58):
Fair Teyana Taylor her All Spare co Star Wars, the
one you know, asking the questions do you use check
GPT for life advice? No?
Speaker 15 (22:08):
Do you use it at all?
Speaker 6 (22:10):
Yes?
Speaker 7 (22:10):
I use it for legal advice.
Speaker 2 (22:12):
So when I am needing to know the answer to
a question, I'll take a picture and snap it and
like put it in there to cheat.
Speaker 4 (22:20):
They're always wrong.
Speaker 2 (22:22):
It has made me fail test all the time.
Speaker 4 (22:28):
Answer I mean, don't you believe that? I mean, yeah,
we've all gotten misleading or just flat out wrong answers
from AI check, even the.
Speaker 2 (22:39):
Ar you look up anything you get that AI overview.
If you don't fact check that, more times than not,
it's going to be the wrong information.
Speaker 4 (22:47):
And what's really scary is they're seeing that traffic to
websites where you would normally go and fact check and
find those answers is down just huge, huge percentages. There's
a huge, massive drop off because everybody makes that top
AI overview answer and just goes about their day. They
use that answer rather than I got to go click
through a couple of sites and read up on whatever
(23:09):
the thing may be, and traffic to all these news
organizations and scientific websites, all sorts of stuff is just
massively down, which means there's a handful of companies that
now really control all the info because it's their answer
from their AI thing that is giving you scary things.
Speaker 3 (23:30):
That's the answer that most people run with.
Speaker 2 (23:32):
By the way, Kim, as you know, was waiting for
those bar exam results that comes out on the seventh.
We'll know if she passed or failed.
Speaker 3 (23:40):
The seventh like in three days.
Speaker 4 (23:41):
Yes, oh man, why what did we predict in the
prediction journal?
Speaker 2 (23:45):
I think we I think I said fail.
Speaker 4 (23:47):
I think I.
Speaker 5 (23:49):
Did.
Speaker 6 (23:49):
I think we're very optimistic here on the TV show,
like what she's doing, you know, using chat GBT for
you know, college students, high school, so everybody's doing that
same thing thing, right, you know where there was a
time when okay, here's the question.
Speaker 4 (24:05):
Okay, I got to go now you have to go
to the little library or whatever, check out books and
read about it and then look for the answer. And
then it became okay, now I got to go search
through the internet to find this answer, and now you
have the thing. It just gives you the answer. Do
we like, where do we land on that? It's taking
out the part where you're doing the actual work.
Speaker 2 (24:22):
You're not learning anything.
Speaker 4 (24:23):
I'm sorry, it's just expediting the process to get you
to that answer. Hopefully it's a correct answer, you know
right now, largely not you know sometimes not like it's
sort of an interesting Yeah.
Speaker 3 (24:35):
It's taking away from you doing the actual work.
Speaker 2 (24:38):
Not I mean not only that you're it's taken away
from students actually learning anything. Honestly, I don't see the
point of even issuing homework at this point because kids
are going home and they're just chat gibteing everything questions, Like,
it doesn't matter what it is. Nobody's learning anything.
Speaker 4 (24:53):
The tests have to go back to the old school, right, Yeah,
it's pen and paper.
Speaker 3 (24:57):
Yeah, right, you gotta handwrite.
Speaker 4 (24:59):
You got to handwrite an essay, yeah, or like fill
out that scantron or whatever that thing is.
Speaker 7 (25:03):
Were you Oh my god.
Speaker 4 (25:04):
I fill in the bubbles because like that's the only
way to do it now, right, Otherwise it was shooting.
Speaker 2 (25:09):
By the way, Ken's new show All's a Fair comes
out today on Hulu. What's your guys interest level? By
the way, what is this about? It's like an all
female uh lawyer? Okay, I'll watch it?
Speaker 7 (25:25):
Why not?
Speaker 2 (25:26):
I don't remember all the details about the show, but
it did sound interesting when when I first did hear
about it. While I actually watch it, probably not, but
the first three episodes they're gonna be out on Hulu
today and then they're gonna drop new episodes every Tuesday
after this.
Speaker 7 (25:38):
Grammy, what do you have?
Speaker 13 (25:39):
All right?
Speaker 4 (25:40):
A couple of quick things to mention this morning. First,
former Vice President Dick Cheney has passed away at the
age of eighty four. He was George W. Bush's VP
during his two terms in office, largely seen as the
mastermind behind the invasion of Iraq looking for weapons of
mass destruction, and a couple other conflicts. So he leaves
behind a very polarizing legacy. But that's one of the
top headlines this morning. Dick Cheney passed away at the
(26:01):
age eighty four. Now some more breaking news, well, breaking
news sort of last night, but maybe breaking news to
some people this morning. The upcoming Jake Paul fight with Jervonta.
Tank Davis no longer going to move forward is going
to get canceled. This is following renewed assault allegations against
Davis from a former partner. They are pretty they're bad,
(26:23):
they're bad allegations. MVP Promotions, which I believe is Jake
Paul's promotions company, and Netflix announced this last night that
the event was going to be canceled. It was for
next Friday, the fourteenth, that the fight was gonna be
held in Miami. This was the second Jake Paul and
Netflix boxing event like together, so this was sort of
(26:45):
a big I mean, it was a big deal and
I talked to some friends that were that are really
into boxing, thought this could actually be a pretty good fight.
I mean, despite they have a pretty big size difference,
but they thought this would be actually a pretty good fight.
Speaker 3 (26:58):
But again that fight has been canceler.
Speaker 4 (27:00):
Well then it's it's a bummer for us on the
JV Show because we were going to have a watch
party for this, you guys at David Busters and mil Pedis.
We were doing that. We were going to be given
away tickets to get into that. So that will no
longer be happening. There's been a lot of chatter about
could somebody step up and step in at the last
minute to take the to take the fight. It doesn't
sound like that's going to be an option there, but
(27:22):
it does sound like they're going to try to reschedule it.
Speaker 2 (27:24):
What's interesting because yesterday you brought this up, Graham, You're like,
I don't know, like he's facing some pretty serious allegations.
You know what if they do call us a fight,
And I was like, that is never going to happen,
Like nothing ever happens to these guys. The NFL players
get accused of some things, they're just they're starring in
the next game. Like, so, I'm actually I was kind
of surprised that they called the thing off and I'm
glad they did good.
Speaker 4 (27:45):
Jake Paul very vocal on Twitter last night. He posted
Gervanta Davis as an actual walking human piece of garbage.
Speaker 3 (27:53):
Working with him as an absolute nightmare.
Speaker 4 (27:55):
The unprofessionalism, the bizarre request, the showing up hours late
to shoots, to the numerous rest and related accusations and lawsuits.
If you support this man, you support the most vile
sin a man could commit. So he's taking and he
went on to talk about how he does not want
to give this woman abuser a platform to gross fanily. Wow,
so it does not sound like he will be doing anything.
When I said the fight of being rescheduled, I mean
(28:17):
a Jake Paul fight, but not a Jake Paul got it,
Tank Davis fight. Sounds like they will find somebody else
to fight and maybe I heard maybe December, but we'll
see interesting.
Speaker 2 (28:26):
Wow, thank you, Grammy.
Speaker 1 (28:28):
The JV Show on Wild ninety four nine.
Speaker 2 (28:30):
It's Wilddy for nine, the base number one hit music station.
I'm Selena and we are the JV's show, Happy Tuesday.
We do have crazy Cash coming up. But first, why were.
Speaker 4 (28:40):
We talking about chat gbt because Kim Kay is using
it to cheat on the bar?
Speaker 2 (28:45):
Right, No, we don't know if she cheated on the bar.
Speaker 3 (28:47):
Well, she didn't use it while she was taking the bar.
Speaker 2 (28:49):
I know that, but she used We don't know that
she didn't.
Speaker 3 (28:51):
Well, that's also true, but I.
Speaker 2 (28:53):
Think she meant she was using it to study for
log exams and chat GBT was spitting out wrong answers
made her fail some tests. And I did say, you
know everyone's just using this. I mean, Graham, you agree,
you know this. Everyone's using this on tests they take
at home all homework show d.
Speaker 19 (29:09):
From Lodi, Well, me and my daughter use chat GPT
for homework, her homework, and if those guys are wrong,
then we're both selling fourth grade. But we haven't gotten
any EPISO far, so I don't know.
Speaker 4 (29:26):
We'll see.
Speaker 3 (29:28):
We're using it chat gypt to do the fourth grade homework.
Speaker 7 (29:32):
If it's math, I yeah, they do math differently.
Speaker 2 (29:34):
It's weird.
Speaker 4 (29:35):
I understand they do math differently, But if you're that's
the worst thing to use it for because then when
you sit down and take a test, you'll have no
idea how to even Yes, that's learning the math concept
of how to solve the problem. Yeah, they do it
a different way than what we learned it right, So
it's gonna be tough. But when you sit down and
take that math test, how are you going to ever
show your work or get to the right answer you have?
Speaker 3 (29:57):
You won't be able to start because that's just and
I don't like it.
Speaker 9 (30:01):
I don't know if if you happen to know this, Selena,
because I know your daughter might have a.
Speaker 7 (30:05):
Chromebook, the one that is given to them by the school.
Do they have access like can.
Speaker 9 (30:09):
They type in chat GPT on there or does it
get blocked.
Speaker 2 (30:12):
Off by the school. I'm I would assume it's blocked,
but I mean they use their phone, right, so I
don't even know if she's ever tried to even access
it on her on the laptop. I would hope it's
blocked though, at least so they can't use it at
school or anything. All right, let's get to what the
bleep where? All you have to do is be the
first person to guess today's leaps outward correctly. And if
that is you, you are going to get today's JV
(30:34):
show Chug mug. Are you guys ready for today's clip?
Speaker 4 (30:36):

Speaker 2 (30:37):
All right, here we go. Ladies who keep there closed
all the time, why it might give you a mood
boost if you opened him once in a while.
Speaker 3 (30:45):
Totally agree.
Speaker 7 (30:46):
Sounds a little judgmental.
Speaker 4 (30:48):
That's a feminist movie. Free the never Mind. Hard to
think about what that bleeped out where it could be?
Keep in mind, first and foremost, this is a family show.
So whatever that guess you're gonna make on the talkback
mic on the iHeartRadio app, it better be radio friendly.
Speaker 3 (31:02):
It's got to be PG.
Speaker 4 (31:03):
Our answer always is leave us your name and your
city along with that talkback because we want to be
able to shout you out, but only the first person
that delivers us.
Speaker 3 (31:12):
The correct answer gets the JV Show Chug Mug.
Speaker 1 (31:15):
The JV Show on Wild ninety four nine.
Speaker 2 (31:18):
Back to what the bleep Where all you have to
do is be the first person to guests today's bleeped
out word correctly to win this JV Show chug Mug.
Here's today's clip in case you missed it. Ladies who
keep there closed all the time, why it might give
you a mood boost if you opened him once in
a while.
Speaker 3 (31:33):
Good time. Yeah, you know serious.
Speaker 2 (31:36):
Let's go to your guesses.
Speaker 8 (31:38):
PI.
Speaker 4 (31:38):
This f Morgan Hill and I guess you're the sleep
out were his lips?
Speaker 15 (31:42):
Thank you?
Speaker 3 (31:45):
Careful careful?
Speaker 4 (31:47):
Yeah, open your mouth, Yeah you can say something, ye,
speak your mind. Yes, this is on in Jessica from Gilroy.
We think the bleeped out word is perse. Yeah, job,
I didn't say anything.
Speaker 13 (32:06):
So far.
Speaker 3 (32:06):
Lips and purse not those, it's not those.
Speaker 4 (32:08):
This is Johanna for Antica.
Speaker 19 (32:10):
I want to guess that's the bleaked out word is
curtains a great day.
Speaker 2 (32:15):
Graham doing.
Speaker 7 (32:17):
Not of the sort.
Speaker 4 (32:19):
No, I'm not gonna say that, all right, So so,
just so we're clear. We've eliminated lips, purse, and curtains. Yes,
so far, ladies, keep those closed. That's not what we're
talking about. Something else, something else, Yeah, something else. What
are you so giggly about over there? Sonara, I don't
get it.
Speaker 2 (32:36):
I don't know. I'm sorry. Continue to leave those guesses.
Is a great guest, and so far more on the
top back, Mike, gotta play more of your talkbacks coming.
Speaker 1 (32:46):
Up The JV Show on Wild ninety four nine the.
Speaker 2 (32:49):
Bays and number one hit music station, The JV Show.
I'm Selena and I'm Jess. We are playing what the
bleep We're All you have to do is be the
first person to guess today's gleep otward correctly, and you're
gonna win this JV show. Chuck mugs. So here's face clipping.
You missed it. Ladies who keep there closed all the time,
Why it might give you a mood boost if you
opened him once in a while.
Speaker 3 (33:07):
I think so.
Speaker 2 (33:08):
I think so too. Let it breathe, all right, let's
go to your guessing.
Speaker 3 (33:14):
Good Morning JV shows, your boy Razl Dazzle from fair few.
I believe the bleeped out word is mind have an
open mind.
Speaker 15 (33:22):
Thanks having I.
Speaker 2 (33:23):
Say, I like that you have an open mind.
Speaker 4 (33:26):
That was a very very popular guest this morning. A
lot of people guessing that that's a good one.
Speaker 6 (33:30):
Hi, this is Ashley from Berkeley. Again.
Speaker 12 (33:32):
Is the word heart, you know, like, if you're guarded
and you're not opening yourself up to.
Speaker 2 (33:37):
Anybody, open up your heart.
Speaker 4 (33:41):
You need to open up your heart sometimes cold hearted bees.
Speaker 15 (33:45):
Hi, I think the secret words are.
Speaker 2 (33:49):
Blind, open up your blind That might be some good too.
Speaker 4 (33:54):
Blinds and curtains the two most popular guestses this morning.
Speaker 3 (33:57):
A lot of people on those guesses.
Speaker 14 (33:59):
Chris from flugu Villa again with another guests, I'm going
to guess windows.
Speaker 2 (34:03):
Open up those windows all right? Here today's clib unbeleat
ladies who keep their windows closed all the time. Why
it might give you a mood boost if you opened
them once in a while. Yep, get some fresh air,
Get some fresh air, let the sun in.
Speaker 7 (34:18):
But it's gonna start getting colder.
Speaker 4 (34:20):
So are you talking about the windows in your house
or like the windows in your class house?
Speaker 3 (34:24):
Okay, I was thinking about car.
Speaker 4 (34:25):
I was thinking of car windows, and I noticed that yesterday,
gorgeous day, yesterday we had the windows down. I'm driving
the kids home from school. The you know, the the
winds blast them through their hair. They got the biggest
smiles on their face. I look around, I'm like the
only car with the windows down. It's the most perfect
weather out yesterday. Why is everyone everybody drives windows up nowadays?
Speaker 13 (34:44):
Yeah?
Speaker 2 (34:44):
I don't like window way down. You go all the
way down, all the way down the wind through there.
Speaker 9 (34:50):
You don't have your hair just flop and flopping everywhere
and hitting in your fight you.
Speaker 4 (34:56):
I would be so upset if my hair hit my Yeah,
I mean, but isn't there something to be said about that?
Speaker 3 (35:02):
It's like, let's get some fresh air. It's a beautiful down.
Speaker 2 (35:04):
But I can only go like in my car, like
maybe like a quarter of the way down.
Speaker 4 (35:08):
That's it.
Speaker 9 (35:09):
Yeah, after the gym though, After the gym, yeah, I'm
down for the all the way down.
Speaker 3 (35:13):
Yeah, you gotta go. I go windows down all the time.
Speaker 4 (35:16):
And what do you ever open your twin panel moonroof
on that new Ford Explorer you got?
Speaker 2 (35:20):
We actually don't come.
Speaker 7 (35:23):
I just like it.
Speaker 2 (35:24):
It likes it lets the natural light in, but it's pretty.
Speaker 7 (35:27):
Nato, you know. Put your head through there.
Speaker 2 (35:30):
While I'm driving on the seat driving at the same time.
Speaker 3 (35:34):
I love opening my sun roof car.
Speaker 4 (35:37):
Yeah, my car's a little old though in the motor
sometimes you have to help it along.
Speaker 3 (35:40):
A little bit it starts to get stuck.
Speaker 4 (35:42):
So I'm always worried that if I open, it's not
gonna be able to close all the way and then
it's gonna rain and it's all but when it does open, Oh,
let the breeze in. Let the breeze in, you guys,
All right, let's get some shouts first.
Speaker 3 (35:55):
Right there, my man.
Speaker 4 (35:56):

Speaker 4 (36:30):

Amy and Jack.
Speaker 2 (37:10):
So there you guys are. How are you? Has the
morning going so far?

Now that.
Speaker 7 (37:16):
Hold, slow your roll, slow your role.
Speaker 2 (37:17):
You're still going to play?
Speaker 7 (37:18):
Are you up?
Speaker 15 (37:18):
Nope?
Speaker 2 (37:19):

win the game. Actually, okay, So here's how it worries.

get three correct, easy pas. If you can do that,
the tickets are yours. You're going to be checking out
five seconds of the summer when they come to the bay. Okay, okay,

Speaker 7 (37:35):
Question number one?
Speaker 2 (37:36):
What color is Oscar? The grouch on Sesame Street? Greedy? Easy, peasy.
Speaker 4 (37:45):
He hasn't always been green though, he was I think
orange on the first season of the show. Oh yeah,
I don't know why they rebranded to a different color color.
I guess so it's a little a little more bright
and cheerio. Well, the SHOT's fire. Everybody likes the color green.
I like the color green. I'm not a grouch. Question
number two.
Speaker 3 (38:05):
Nice job in the first one. Question two.
Speaker 4 (38:07):
The Dewey decimal system is a method used to organize what.
Speaker 2 (38:13):
Books at a library. What's that right, pipchop? Question number three?
Here finished the title of this popular thriller novel and
subsequent movie, The Girl with the Dragon Blank. I think
it's too.
Speaker 4 (38:33):
You are crust Wow, Selena in your brief book era,

Speaker 2 (38:37):
Hell no, I heard watch.
Speaker 7 (38:39):
The movie Hell no, not against either of those.
Speaker 2 (38:42):
I just didn't know nobody got to sarked my interests.
Speaker 4 (38:44):
Right, you guys have already won the game. You don't
even need this one question number four just for funzies
whose face is on the one dollar bill Benjamin Franklin.

Speaker 21 (41:29):
Morning JV Show. This is shown from Fairfield. Good job
on the Yepnope game. However, I do have a question
for you, or not a question, but it's more of
a joke. What did the skeletons and the spirit librarians
used to organize books the Dewey Death Ebles system?
Speaker 4 (41:58):
Thanks? Moving on.
Speaker 2 (42:01):
The Dewey death mol I think he said death death.
Speaker 4 (42:08):
Yeahs a Halloween joke.
Speaker 2 (42:12):
Try back?
Speaker 20 (42:13):
Wow shows the most talked about stories happening today in
the Bay.
Speaker 2 (42:26):
People magazine has named their sexiest Man Alive And it
ain't you, Graham?
Speaker 3 (42:30):
Why not?
Speaker 2 (42:31):
It just is I considered you were not.
Speaker 3 (42:33):
Did you guys nominate me? I did not some coworkers
I have up here.
Speaker 2 (42:38):
So the big announcementnight on The Tonight Show with Jimmy
Fallon And this year People has selected Jonathan Bailey as
the Sexiest Man Alive?
Speaker 7 (42:50):
Who from Wicked?
Speaker 2 (42:53):
Who from Birgerton?
Speaker 20 (42:55):
Who?
Speaker 7 (42:55):
From Jurassic World's Rebirth.
Speaker 2 (42:57):
I haven't seen any of those things, couldn't tell you
who he is. We'll go to a JB Morning show.
We have his Sexiest Man Alive covers there on our
Instagram story. I'll be honest, I'm with you, Graham. I
didn't know who this guy was, but I think we're
the minority. I mean, he had a prominent role on
(43:17):
all of the shows and movies that we just named,
so people know who he is. He's also making history
as the first ever openly gay man to be named
People's Sexiest Man Alive.
Speaker 4 (43:25):
Okay, that part cool, very cool, but sexiest Man Alive.
I'm looking at the pictures.
Speaker 2 (43:30):
But you know they take into account more than just
the physical.
Speaker 9 (43:33):
They do, I think allegedly, but it's tough because when
you put such a huge title like that on someone like,
no one's going to meet the expectations ever.
Speaker 2 (43:43):
I know, like sexiest man all, no one is ever
gonna agree completely on anybody they pick.
Speaker 4 (43:49):
I mean, every year, put some water in my hair
and splash me in the ocean like this.
Speaker 3 (43:53):
I'm better looking than this guy.
Speaker 7 (43:56):
Don't do that?
Speaker 3 (43:58):
What about what about all the hair?
Speaker 4 (44:01):
Selena? I haven't hear comment.
Speaker 2 (44:03):
I'm not a fan of there's a lot of hair.
I guess not my thing. It's not my thing.
Speaker 3 (44:09):
I've got less than that.
Speaker 7 (44:10):
So point for me, Graham, you're not in the race alive.
Speaker 3 (44:16):
Well, I'm just comparatively.
Speaker 4 (44:17):
You know, when us guys look at you know, and
want to aspire to be the sexiest man alive, a
lot of us are like, yeah, we're better than that.
Speaker 2 (44:26):
So you want to go check him out again. That's
on my Instagram story jab Morning Show. All right, So
Justin Baldoni's four hundred million dollar countersuit against Blake Live
we has officially come to an end.
Speaker 17 (44:38):
Now.
Speaker 7 (44:38):
We talked about this back in June.
Speaker 2 (44:39):
That's when the judge dismissed the claim, saying that Justin
accusing Blake of extortion defamation, just wasn't going to stand
up in court. Well after that, Justin had the chance
to file an appeal. He had until October seventeenth, and
guess what happened. Absolutely nothing. So on the thirty first,
on Halloween, the judge signed a new order saying that
since there's no appeal, the lawsuit is officially thrown out
(45:01):
and is done. By the way, not just his suit
against Blake, but his two hundred and fifty million lawsuit
against The New York Times. That's also just done and
over with as well.
Speaker 7 (45:10):
So what happens next.
Speaker 2 (45:11):
Obviously we still have Blake's initial lawsuit against him, but
now there's this Blake wants justin to have to pay
up all the money she's spent having to defend herself
against his claims. She wants him to pay damages for
emotional and psychological harm. She thinks that he should be
billed for abuse of the court system. All of this
is going to amount to millions if the judge signs
(45:33):
off on it, so they will most likely be hearing
at some point to determine how much, if anything, he's
going to have to pay.
Speaker 9 (45:39):
Wow, and that will be that will be added to
whatever else she's asking him to pay already, because there's
supposed to be a trial happening.
Speaker 4 (45:47):
What is that's still happening?
Speaker 7 (45:49):
That trial?
Speaker 2 (45:50):
Yeah, for Blake's lawsuit. That's like early next year, I think,
in March. But yeah, so this is separate, okay from that,
This whole.
Speaker 4 (45:59):
Thing's losing steam can and they just settle out of
court and we all.
Speaker 3 (46:01):
Move on please. We don't need this.
Speaker 2 (46:03):
Nobody needs this, Grammy, what do you have?
Speaker 3 (46:05):
All right?
Speaker 4 (46:06):
San Francisco Mission District Supervisor Jackie Fielder, she has organized
a rally today in honor of KitKat the cat. He's
the cat that was struck and killed by an autonomous
Waymo car at the beginning of last week. He was
the store mascot and pet of the owner of Randa's
Market on Sixteenth Street. The Justice for KitKat rally going
(46:27):
to be held at noon at out front of that market,
thirty one thirty one sixteenth Street. Supervisor Fielder is calling
on Governor Newsom and the state legislator to give people
the right to vote on how autonomous vehicles operate and
are tested in our local communities. There's been variant accounts
of how KitKat was struck and killed. One witness said
the card made no attempt to slow down, just ran
him over. Waimo says he darted out under one of
(46:50):
its cars that was in the process of picking up
passengers and pulling away from the curve. They've promised a
donation to a local animal rights organization in Kitcat's honor,
But if you hand, please join today's rally. Because what
do we want justice? I was gonna say a new cat,
but justice for kid cat? When do we want it now?
Speaker 15 (47:09):
Now?
Speaker 4 (47:10):
In other way Moo news, Waymo announced yesterday that they
are going to be rolling out their self driving cars
to more US cities San Diego, Detroit, and Las Vegas
sometime next year.
Speaker 3 (47:21):
You guys are on the list. You'll be getting some
Waymo cars.
Speaker 4 (47:24):
Weymo already operates in La Phoenix, Austin, and Atlanta, and
they're have their site set on other cities including Boston, Seattle, Denver, Miami,
New York City, and Washington, d C. One of the
main test things that'll be interesting to see is when
they roll out in Detroit, one of the cities they
announced is going to come next year. There is we know,
(47:45):
snow and ice during certain times a year in Detroit,
So these Waymo cars are gonna be slipping and slide
and just taking out cats left and right.
Speaker 7 (47:51):
Oh my god, we.
Speaker 3 (47:53):
Don't know that yet we're there. That's gonna be one
of the things.
Speaker 2 (47:55):
That that is so scary testing.
Speaker 4 (47:58):
To figure out justice for a cat Today? You guys
today at noon, Selena, are you going to be there
at the roll?
Speaker 11 (48:03):
Oh?
Speaker 2 (48:03):
I am busy that day.
Speaker 3 (48:05):
Jess, you're a cat lover. Are you going to be
there at the rally?
Speaker 7 (48:07):
You guys, my cat threw up last night. I have
to be with her.
Speaker 3 (48:10):
Cats do that, they do time.
Speaker 7 (48:12):
Don't worried.
Speaker 4 (48:13):
No, your cat's fine. Justice for KitKat. Can you be
at the rally today?
Speaker 2 (48:16):
Take your cat with you.
Speaker 7 (48:17):
She'll throw up there because she's just.
Speaker 3 (48:20):
Sick about kit Cat's death and the Injust take her
with me.
Speaker 2 (48:24):
All right, I'm coming up next year on the JV Show.
We got another chance for you to win this crazy cash.
It's one thousand dollars up for grabs. Also, we are
going to talk about this one thing that gen Z
has declared absolutely cringe and Graham, I have a feeling
it's something that you do.
Speaker 3 (48:42):
Oh no, I'm going to be attack.
Speaker 11 (48:44):
I'm going to talk about it next the JV Show
on Wild ninety four nine.
Speaker 2 (48:48):
All right, we were just talking about People magazine naming
their annual Sexiest Man Alive and this year that owner
went to Jonathan Bailey.
Speaker 7 (48:55):
Hi, Graham, this is Mia from the bull I have.
Speaker 9 (48:59):
If you want to be the Sexiest Man Alive, you
have to work harder.
Speaker 3 (49:03):
Thank you for the birthday shout out yesterday.
Speaker 4 (49:06):
Sea, Well, you're welcome for the birthday shout out. But
work harder? What does that mean?
Speaker 2 (49:12):
It's not sexy enough.
Speaker 4 (49:14):
All I do is work. The hardest working guy in
radio outside of Ryan Secrets, But I'm on the second
hardest working guy in radio.
Speaker 2 (49:21):
Like, what are we talking about, Steve Harvey?
Speaker 4 (49:23):
Okay, third hardest working guy radio? Like, what are we
talking about? Work harder? I think I need some nominations
from my fellow co workers.
Speaker 7 (49:30):
I think that's how it works.
Speaker 2 (49:31):
Yeah, yeah, I don't think so. The other thing we
were just talking about is the rally for kit kat today.
Speaker 3 (49:37):
Yeah.
Speaker 4 (49:37):
This is the cat that was struck and killed by
the Weimo car last week in San Francisco. The rally
happening today at Randa's Market on Sixteenth Street at noon.
Speaker 3 (49:45):
If you want to join, Good.
Speaker 5 (49:46):
Morning, Selena Graham and Jeff I will be the wild
ninety four to nine delegate today at kit Kats rally.
This is Hazel from San Francisco. I love Vomos for
a lot of reasons, and I hate Waymo's for a
lot of reasons, but I definitely think there needs to
be stronger rules. So I will be the wild ninety
(50:08):
four nine delegate for you guys today, So just stay
home with your puking cat.
Speaker 2 (50:14):
Hey Waite, thank you so much for stepping up. If
only you can go to like our meetings as well, I.
Speaker 3 (50:18):
Know the boss if you can sit in on that one.
Speaker 2 (50:23):
Ray ten am because I'm busy that day.
Speaker 4 (50:26):
Yeah, but appreciate any way that could show up today.
And She's right, Like We've talked about this before on
the show, because I've always said, I don't remember signing
up for being the you know, the test driver on
this test track as every company in the world test
their autonomous car here in San Francisco. I don't remember
saying like, yes, I would love to be a part
of this, because I'm driving around in the midst of
one hundred of these cars on every block. Did I
(50:49):
Did anyone ask me if I want to be the no,
the crash test dummy for this?
Speaker 3 (50:53):
Nobody did so.
Speaker 4 (50:54):
It is a little interesting, very justice for KitKat justice yep.
Speaker 2 (50:58):
So according to Jens Graham and I feel like you
do this, they've declared that this one thing is absolutely cringe.
And this is according to well not all of gen Z,
but almost thirty percent using cash. Cringe. Yeah, people who
pay with cash are out of touch or just just cringe.
According to gen Z, just use cash.
Speaker 7 (51:21):
To pay for things.
Speaker 2 (51:23):
Oh see, it's very rare.
Speaker 4 (51:30):
What happened to, you know, fluxing on Instagram with big
stacks of cash or making it rain at the club, you.
Speaker 2 (51:36):
Know, because you can't make it rain with like cash app.
Speaker 4 (51:39):
But cash is not cool, you're telling me. So you're
that you're throwing a bunch of you know, not cool
stuff around.
Speaker 2 (51:45):
Well, yeah, I guess it's cool if you're living a
strip club life like sure.
Speaker 7 (51:49):
But not at like a glaucery store. Yeah, I guess.
Speaker 2 (51:54):
Interesting, Graham, you still carry cash, you.
Speaker 3 (51:58):
Know it right now? Got to have cash on you? Why,
just in case?
Speaker 7 (52:03):
See I feel that way sometimes too.
Speaker 9 (52:04):
But every single time I'm like, I'm going to carry
this cash so I could use it, I.
Speaker 7 (52:07):
End up paying with my card.
Speaker 9 (52:09):
And then after I'm like, ah, I didn't.
Speaker 4 (52:11):
Use the cash, Well, I'll pay with my card and
then I'll leave a tip in cash, because coming from
a former bartender, you'd rather have the cash than something
that's you know, trackable by the irs.
Speaker 2 (52:21):
Got you, got you. I even feel weird now though,
paying Like, first of all, I never carry cash, but everyone, you.
Speaker 7 (52:27):
Don't even carry a card?
Speaker 15 (52:28):
Right?
Speaker 7 (52:29):
Sometimes?
Speaker 2 (52:30):
Uh yeah, mostly just pay with my phone, but at
least I have my cards on me. Okay sometimes but
even even if given the option, I still pay with
my phone because having to take my cards out just
doing too much.
Speaker 7 (52:42):
But I don't.
Speaker 2 (52:43):
I never even have cash, and off the off in
the off chance that I do, I even feel weird
using it to pay.
Speaker 4 (52:49):
See, I wouldn't, see. I don't normally use cash for
like your day to day transactions that do you go
to the convenience store whatever, I'm generally not using it
there just because I feel like it's annoying for them
to have to make change and actually grab coins out
of the drawer. But the opportunities that I can tip
in cash, oh yeah, of course, that's the main reason
I have cash on me. It's not so I'm like,
I can't wait to go buy my groceries with this, okay,
(53:13):
a little bit.
Speaker 7 (53:14):
Of a pass.
Speaker 9 (53:14):
And sometimes I do like using cash because then I
feel like I'm not.
Speaker 7 (53:17):
Spending at all, because you know, girl math.
Speaker 2 (53:20):
Ca, Yeah, so I'm like free money, but it feels weird,
like handing get to somebody, then you get your change
pat back and you just like throw it into your bag.
According to the survey, carrying cash is now as uncool
as tossing on a pair of leggings, which I have
on right now. Thoughts far ending every other text message
(53:42):
in LOL?
Speaker 7 (53:44):
Is that also cringed?
Speaker 2 (53:45):
Yeah?
Speaker 4 (53:46):
Thank you?
Speaker 7 (53:47):
I like it. I like an LOL here and there.
Speaker 9 (53:51):
Don't overdo it, but like it lightens up, thank you.
Speaker 2 (53:55):
But I mean, but the younger generation, they don't even
use LOL anymore.
Speaker 4 (53:59):
Good they don't l O L is like an emoji
to me. I don't think I've ever used one.
Speaker 2 (54:02):
You've never, but you've never used an lo. Ol.
Speaker 4 (54:04):
No, I put ha ha always or ha. That's as
much as you're gonna get.
Speaker 3 (54:11):
I'm not LOL, why though, I just don't use it.
Speaker 7 (54:14):
I think about it.
Speaker 2 (54:14):
Yeah, you do use a haha a message to me,
it's more like that's laughing that because you're not actually
laughing out loud when you type no.
Speaker 3 (54:23):
You never are very rarely, maybe less.
Speaker 4 (54:26):
Than one percent allowed.
Speaker 2 (54:27):
When you put a ha ha sometimes no you're not,
You're not.
Speaker 4 (54:30):
Usually it's pretty good. But also but also it's like
letting you know, like ha that's funny.
Speaker 2 (54:37):
I just don't use you can't do anymore carry cash,
wear leggings and put lo ol in a message.
Speaker 4 (54:43):
All right, So I'm only one out of three of
those things and you're two out of three. So sorry,
But at.
Speaker 2 (54:47):
Least I don't carry cash.
Speaker 3 (54:48):
Cash is cool, there's not.
Speaker 4 (54:50):
There's something about having a hundred dollars bill. There's that
that will never not be cool.
Speaker 2 (54:56):
Yeah, I guess, But then you use it, and then
you have all these ones and fives and tens.
Speaker 3 (54:59):
Those are all also they're not as cool.
Speaker 2 (55:01):
But at least I don't like it. Have money pay
with my phone and that's it.
Speaker 4 (55:05):
Yeah, except the times that you've left here and had
to ask me for cash because it wouldn't take your
phone at the gas station. So who's cool now?
Speaker 2 (55:13):
Is in every gas station at this point in twenty
twenty five have a touch pay thing at every at
every gas pump.
Speaker 3 (55:19):
Takes that up with the global oil industry.
Speaker 4 (55:21):
I don't know, but I just know that I've built
your bun out a few times.
Speaker 7 (55:25):
And Walmart.
Speaker 2 (55:25):
Why don't Walmarts have that either?
Speaker 4 (55:27):
I don't know, but just say thank you, Buddy Graham
for carrying cash, because you've.
Speaker 3 (55:31):
Saved my buck.
Speaker 2 (55:31):
Hey, you did so, I didn't run out of gas
on the Bay Bridge, thank you. You know that's my
biggest fear, I know, all right. Next on the JV Show,
we are talking about Jerry, you know from The Golden
is Jerry or Gary Gary Gary.
Speaker 3 (55:45):
Garry spelled like Jerry with the jew but Gary.
Speaker 2 (55:48):
Gary from the Golden Bachelor. He has a new book
out talking about why him and Teresa did not work out. Graham,
there's a few things you want to run through.
Speaker 1 (55:56):
Yes, the JV Show on Wild ninety four nine.
Speaker 2 (55:59):
We were just talking about gen Z declaring that carrying
cash is as cringe as wearing luggings.
Speaker 3 (56:05):
How dare you?
Speaker 2 (56:06):
Or typing loll at the end of a text message.
Care stylist and I often get paid in cash, you know,
it's more cringe than paying with cash. Happen to go
to the bank and deposit your cash so you can
use your.
Speaker 4 (56:18):
Phone to pay.
Speaker 3 (56:20):
That's a good point.
Speaker 2 (56:21):
Okay, yes, but I don't have to do that. Yeah,
I never you know what I mean, Like, I don't
even touch cash at this point. Everything is just so
automated and done on the back end. But like, yeah,
you get paid in cash, like she said, and you
have to go to a bank at cash.
Speaker 4 (56:34):
There are plenty of people tip that work for tips
or in industries where cash is a little more prevalent.
And yeah, then you have to go take your cash
down to the bank, deposit it just so then you
can use touch free pain after that.
Speaker 9 (56:45):
Just paying cash right at that point, just paying cash exactly,
that's what I would do, I guess.
Speaker 2 (56:49):
But then you're being judged by everybody else behind you
in line. You can't just take that to the grocery store.
Speaker 3 (56:53):
But you take that cash and put it in the bank.
Speaker 4 (56:55):
Guess who Now there's a record of it. Ah for
the irs, I pay tax on it, don't put it
in the bank.
Speaker 2 (57:01):
Graham with the life tacks.
Speaker 3 (57:03):
I was a bartender, trust me.
Speaker 15 (57:05):
I know.
Speaker 16 (57:06):
Good morning jab show. So I just have to say
that I was a pharmacy casher for a while. And
there's nothing worse than getting handed wet or soggy money
or you see where they're pulling it from. It's absolutely disgusting,
especially when during COVID time. It just grossed me out.
I think it's left me with PTSD with it. So
(57:27):
I as you pay the card as well. Now I
do keep cash and just in case a friend emergency
have ad that's.
Speaker 4 (57:34):
Discussing that is something Cash can be a little gross.
Speaker 2 (57:38):
I mean honestly, if I am going out and I
have to carry cash with me, it's like going in
my bra So yeah, it does get a little sweaty
in there.
Speaker 4 (57:46):
But you have a pocket somewhere.
Speaker 9 (57:48):
To help its don't have pocket if you're wearing just
a tight little dress and heels, where are.
Speaker 7 (57:54):
You putting it in the mood yep?
Speaker 2 (57:56):
Because you know there it's not going to get lost.
Speaker 4 (58:00):
JB Show, This is slow from Fremont and gen Zers.
Speaker 19 (58:03):
Come on, man, you need to have at least forty
to fifty or even one hundred dollars in your wallet
just in case.
Speaker 10 (58:09):
That's all.
Speaker 3 (58:10):
Have a great day guys.
Speaker 2 (58:11):
All right, Graham, And that's been your explanation. That's why
you carry cash.
Speaker 4 (58:15):
Yeah, I mean you never know you Canaden's businesses that
are cash only. Also ask your local business owner, restaurant
owner what they would rather take. Well, they would rather
have you pay with credit card or cash.
Speaker 7 (58:25):
It is one five dollars in my wallet right now.
Speaker 4 (58:29):
For the same reason that I outlined as the bartender
work for tips, the IRS gets a less of visibility
for the IRS if you pay in cash at your
local store, restaurant, whatever.
Speaker 3 (58:38):
Trust me, yeah, I.
Speaker 2 (58:40):
Just don't see a need for it.
Speaker 4 (58:42):
I'm just saying that's what they would like to like that,
that's what.
Speaker 2 (58:45):
But there's so many people like me who don't even
come across cash. Like if I want really had to
carry like I'd have to go somewhere and go to
ATM pull it out like otherwise. It just it's not
even a thought.
Speaker 4 (58:53):
Well, let's not inconvenience you. Let's inconvenience our local store.
Speaker 2 (58:56):
O exactly, thank you, Marty JB.
Speaker 22 (58:58):
Show to know from Oakland. Sometimes when you go to
certain clubs, they will only allow you to pay cash
only for the cover charge. And also sometimes when you
tip servers with a card, it gets deducted. They get
deductions for that, but if you tip them with cash,
they don't get deductions. So I carry cash for those
two reasons, for cover charges and for tipping employees.
Speaker 2 (59:22):
Okay, tipping is huge, trust me, right, I get that
tip cash.
Speaker 3 (59:26):
When you can.
Speaker 22 (59:27):
Yep.
Speaker 2 (59:27):
Yeah, I guess if I had cash, I would use
that to tip, mainly because I don't want to carry
it around any longer. Let me get rid of it.
As far as cover charge, yeah, anywhere you go, it's
it's mostly cash to get in. But I don't go anywhere,
so good morning.
Speaker 23 (59:42):
This is a CF from San Francisco. I literally like
almost choked on my coffee when I heard the cringe
for cash. I can't believe that there are still places
that don't accept cards, that are cash only.
Speaker 2 (59:55):
I don't.
Speaker 23 (59:56):
I'm baffled.
Speaker 15 (59:58):
And also Graham, I do a.
Speaker 23 (01:00:00):
Mix of ha ha ha and lol, depending on who
I speak with, and sometimes it's ha ha ha acento
have a good day.
Speaker 4 (01:00:09):
Interesting, Yeah, I'm still I'm misticking with the hajas. I
don't use the lo ols. What about that, s Lenna?
When you run into a do you ever run into
a business that's cash only?
Speaker 3 (01:00:16):
And then what do you? Then you're like sometimes you
just turn around and walk out.
Speaker 2 (01:00:20):
Then you have to go to ATM and that part
sucks because they charge a fee to use your car
to take money out. But for the most part, I don't.
I don't ever carry cash, not because I think it's
fully cringe. Although I don't like using it at stores.
It does feel weird, maybe because I'm not used to it,
but I just feel like everything on my phone is
just so much easier.
Speaker 3 (01:00:37):
Got it?
Speaker 2 (01:00:38):
Use tat pay everywhere I go.
Speaker 3 (01:00:39):
I couldn't imagine wing in line in that doughnut shop.
Speaker 4 (01:00:42):
You get to the front, all you watch that apple
fritter and they're like, oh, cash only, and then you
just have to walk out of their defeated, devastating.
Speaker 2 (01:00:50):
All right, we had to, you know, kick this to
the next break. But next we are going to get
to Gary Garry.
Speaker 3 (01:00:56):
She was about to say, Jerry again Gary.
Speaker 1 (01:01:01):
The JV Show on Wild ninety four to nine.
Speaker 2 (01:01:04):
Be honest, you guys, you've ever been at a metering
light getting onto the freeway, maybe on a bridge? Have
you gone when the light was still red?
Speaker 4 (01:01:10):
Yeah?
Speaker 3 (01:01:11):
Of course, Yeah, me too. Sometimes you have to, I know,
nobody around.
Speaker 2 (01:01:15):
So listen Sanmonteo ninety two westbound trying to get onto
one on one. Right there is the metering lights are
stuck on red.
Speaker 3 (01:01:22):
So everyone's just sitting there, sitting there.
Speaker 4 (01:01:24):
I think, are any brave souls going forward?
Speaker 3 (01:01:27):
Like I gotta get to work.
Speaker 2 (01:01:29):
Once one person does it to everybody follows, I know.
Speaker 4 (01:01:32):
But now you've just announced it to everybody's sitting there
listening to us on the breadge. You can go, everyone,
just go.
Speaker 2 (01:01:36):
All the lights stuck right now, just go yeah, drive
all right, Graham, Gary all.
Speaker 3 (01:01:41):
Right, So we have to talk about Gary Turner.
Speaker 4 (01:01:45):
He's the seventy two year old Golden Bachelor, I know,
but he just dropped a new tell All book called
Golden Years What I've Learned from Love, Loss and Reality TV.
And he lays out a bunch of the reasons that
his marriage to this woman, Teresa did not work out.
And I want to get your thoughts on this stuff.
And I want to ask you, ladies, if it would
(01:02:05):
add up to being a relationship ender like it did
for him.
Speaker 3 (01:02:09):
A bunch of little things.
Speaker 4 (01:02:10):
The first thing he says in this book is quote,
I must admit I was surprised by the size of
Teresa's one story house. I looked around for a place
to put my suitcase. I couldn't find a convenient flat surface.
The space was so confining and small. I lived directly
out of my suitcase for the duration of my stay.
Would you be upset? This is a person, they're married,
and this is his first time coming to visit her.
(01:02:31):
At her house and he's like, there's no space for me.
This is it's just like perfectly suited for one person.
For her.
Speaker 3 (01:02:37):
Where do I put my stuff?
Speaker 7 (01:02:39):
That's petty, that's petty if you.
Speaker 2 (01:02:42):
Like sent him over the edge, know that it's a
multitude of things.
Speaker 3 (01:02:46):
He didn't end.
Speaker 4 (01:02:47):
He didn't end the marriage on that. Like I said,
this is building towards It's not going.
Speaker 2 (01:02:50):
To be a deal breaker for me.
Speaker 7 (01:02:51):
Like so much.
Speaker 2 (01:02:52):
She's a small place.
Speaker 4 (01:02:53):
Okay, yeah, I thought that was a little snooty if
you ask me. He's coming from Indiana or something where
he probably has like a seven thousand square foot house.
Speaker 11 (01:03:00):
All right.
Speaker 3 (01:03:00):
Then he knocked her cooking a little bit.
Speaker 4 (01:03:04):
He said, well, one, he was shocked to see that
her stove in the kitchen she had turned into her vanity.
I was like, good, well, she was sitting there at
the stove top to do her makeup because the light
from the window was so much better than her tenC
tiny bathroom. And he said, well, if I want to
cook eggs, where do I go for that? And he
said she was nice enough to clear off the stove.
Speaker 2 (01:03:23):
Yeah, just wait till she's done and uh cook, Yeah.
Speaker 7 (01:03:26):
That's a little strange, but still not a deal breaker.
Speaker 2 (01:03:29):
I think I'm a chest on that.
Speaker 4 (01:03:30):
No, he said she was able to cook. I think
he had to urge her to cook a few meals
for them, and she cooked, he said, mainly salmon, medium rare,
and green vegetables.
Speaker 3 (01:03:43):
Your thoughts would that be a.
Speaker 2 (01:03:44):
Any type of fish or salmon at least if it's
not on sushi, right? Any type of rare medium rare that.
Speaker 4 (01:03:54):
I might turn around and walk out. Gary, I'm on
your side for that one. No, thank you, all right.
Here's one thing that really really bugged him. He said
they didn't sleep in the same bed. He said, it's
his first night at her house, and she took out
sheets and pillows and said, tomorrow's a big workday for me.
Speaker 3 (01:04:11):
I need a good night's sleep. You're sleeping on the sofa.
Speaker 7 (01:04:14):
Oh my god.
Speaker 2 (01:04:15):
That that one and the salmon, those two things in
combination with each other. I'm done, because, he says breaker,
because we are a married couple. It is my first
time at your house. You make me eat rare salmon,
and then I have to sleep on the couch.
Speaker 4 (01:04:29):
That's what he says in the book. In the book,
he says he responded, yeah, no problem, and he slept
on the couch. But then he said he was thinking
the entire time, why am I here?
Speaker 3 (01:04:39):
We're married?
Speaker 7 (01:04:40):
Right?
Speaker 2 (01:04:40):
He was supposed to be going to Poundtown.
Speaker 4 (01:04:43):
I'm married, agreed, agreed, a very slow and old Poundtown.
Speaker 2 (01:04:48):
Careful not to break any hip.
Speaker 4 (01:04:49):
Yes, careful people, careful, Jess, you'd be okay with that.
Speaker 3 (01:04:52):
Your new husband is like, you're on the couch tonight.
Speaker 2 (01:04:55):
I had a big day tomorrow, gotta get yah rest.
Speaker 3 (01:04:57):
I can't have you disrupting my sleep.
Speaker 7 (01:04:58):
I'd be hurt.
Speaker 9 (01:04:59):
I just don't if I would be like divorce the salmon.
Speaker 4 (01:05:03):
Maybe he had immedia nurse Haam She in her defense,
she's responded to some of these claims in this book,
and she said that was a temporary thing because she
was waiting, and she ended up getting a new king
sized bed for them and put it together and he
never came back, never once slept in it, because he
never returned their relationship to the last.
Speaker 2 (01:05:21):
So I heard her excuses that the bed was too
small for both of them.
Speaker 3 (01:05:24):
Well, she says, the entire account is wrong. It was not.
Speaker 4 (01:05:28):
They slept in the same bed the first night, and
it was the second night that she asked him to
sleep on the couch and blah blah blah. They have
very different accounts of this, this whole thing, but this
is what he says in his book, which we know
is his truth. All right. She knocked his driving one
night they were driving to dinner, and he says he
went five miles an hour over the speed limit, and
(01:05:50):
he said, you would have thought I had a gun
to her head the way she reacted. And if you
think I'm exaggerating, I am not. Could you be with
somebody that flipped out that you have five miles an
hour of the sea.
Speaker 2 (01:06:00):
No?
Speaker 1 (01:06:01):
No.
Speaker 7 (01:06:01):
But also, my fiance criticize is my driving all the time.
Speaker 3 (01:06:04):
So it's kind of like, how does that make you feel?
Speaker 4 (01:06:06):
Do you want to talk about that?
Speaker 7 (01:06:07):
Well, no, my driving is not the best.
Speaker 2 (01:06:09):
So I'm kind of like, uh d thank him for
being on you otherwise you well.
Speaker 9 (01:06:13):
No, that's why I prefer him driving. It kind of.
Speaker 3 (01:06:16):
A lot of pressure, all right. And she knocked his wardrobe.
Speaker 4 (01:06:20):
He said he was all dressed ready to go to dinner,
and he walked out and she's like, uh uh uh,
you're not wearing that, and she marched him down to
a local Lululemon story to buy a new shirt to
put on so they could go to a fancier dinner. Again,
she has a differing She's responded has a different account
to this, But let's just say this was because this
is his truth. Could you be with somebody that knocked
(01:06:41):
your wardrobe like that was like that you're not dressed
fancy enough to go to this restaurant?
Speaker 2 (01:06:45):
Would that would really hurt my feelings more than the driving.
Speaker 4 (01:06:48):
Yeah, the outfit, But what if your partner was actually
because she's she defended herself saying, I was actually giving
him a heads up like the flannel shirt or whatever
he was wearing wasn't quite appropriate because the dinner they
were going to was like at a pretty okay.
Speaker 2 (01:07:01):
Well, then maybe I think I think I've done that.
Then like, hey, I think that you have to dress
a little more like upscale or whatever. I think I've
I've done that, But it's in the way you say
you do it exactly. But what if she did do
it in a way that we're fine with, but he
just took it wrong.
Speaker 9 (01:07:16):
I think he was just trying to find any little
thing to Okay.
Speaker 4 (01:07:21):
So now you have all the evidence there, the stove vanity,
the sleeping on the couch, the criticizing of the driving,
the criticizing of the outfit, and the medium rare salmon.
Are you are you ending this relationship?
Speaker 19 (01:07:34):
No?
Speaker 7 (01:07:34):
I think he was being too picky.
Speaker 2 (01:07:36):
No, I'm ending it.
Speaker 12 (01:07:37):
You are.
Speaker 2 (01:07:41):
This is a marriage, This is you're gonna spend the
rest of your life.
Speaker 4 (01:07:45):
But like this is but but you there's.
Speaker 7 (01:07:48):
Things you have to work through when you first move
in together.
Speaker 2 (01:07:51):
For me, it's a sleeping on the couch thing. That's
that's the biggest red flag for me. We are a
newly married couple and this is my first time at
your place, and you're gonna have me keep on the couch.
I don't care how small your bed is. We're supposed
to be making that work. So we're together.
Speaker 3 (01:08:04):
Yeah, that's my main thing.
Speaker 2 (01:08:06):
Because if you can't cook, fine, we'll get you cooking lessons.
Speaker 7 (01:08:09):
You know, I can.
Speaker 2 (01:08:10):
Change my shirt or whatever.
Speaker 7 (01:08:11):
Yeah, but I just don't really that for him.
Speaker 3 (01:08:14):
Don't yell at my driving either, Like five miles.
Speaker 4 (01:08:17):
An hour, Come on, that's nothing, barely over the speed limit,
that's within the respected range, asked the CHP.
Speaker 9 (01:08:23):
Graham, you'd be okay, if your wife had her whole
vanity set up in front of the stove.
Speaker 4 (01:08:28):
You know, I think, like if I put myself in
the look that, I think they were destined to fail
regardless of all these things. Even if everything had gone
perfectly when they you know, even if she had a
big bed and a bigger you know, a bigger house
and all stuff, I think they would have broken up
regardless because I think if I was in that situation
and each of these things happened with me and Kate,
they would not none of them would even remotely be
a deal breaker. Not even like when first getting together.
(01:08:50):
It wouldn't even be on the radar. It just it
wouldn't have I would have These are all things that
you grow and adjust together.
Speaker 3 (01:08:57):
It just depends on the person.
Speaker 2 (01:08:59):
Clearly, they to what's crazy is they did that that
huge joint interview after separating, and none of us made
it into the interview. They said that they just neither
of them wanted to move. They both have like families
and you know, kids and all that, and neither of
them was willing to move to where the other person lives.
Speaker 3 (01:09:15):
Yeah, well, now enough times past, that's time for you
can tell the truth. Tell his truth.
Speaker 2 (01:09:20):
Love it all right, Today's hot is trending, is coming
up next, the hottest thing.
Speaker 18 (01:09:27):
It's all the stuff you need to know, what's hot
in music, movies, shows, and the most talked about stories
happening today in the Bay.
Speaker 2 (01:09:35):
So Taylor Swift is pouring another two million dollars into
her security budget. So now, according to reports, she will
be spending eight million dollars a year just on security
to ensure her protection everywhere she goes, like at Chiefs games.
You know, she has an expert security team just constantly
monitoring her whereabouts twenty four to seven. At this point,
(01:09:58):
I feel like we've talked about this enough. But again,
she does not want to be the center of attention
anymore everywhere she goes, and that's why she's been a
little more low key when she goes to see Travis play.
A lot of that is for safety reasons. You know,
she deals with threats and stalkers all the time. The
other thing is she doesn't want to be a distraction
for Travis while he's on the field, and maybe her
safety is something that he's worried about during the games
(01:10:19):
and that takes away from his focus. So maybe it
all just kind of goes hand in hand. But bottom line,
the source said that as things get a little more
tense in this country, it's just made her feel a
whole lot more uneasy.
Speaker 4 (01:10:29):
Would you put yourself in her shoes? No, you're incredibly famous. Yes,
you got all the money in the world, but you
have to spend millions of dollars years a year in security,
which is necessary, and then your future children are going
to be the focus of threats and stuff their entire life.
Speaker 2 (01:10:46):
No, it's not worth it.
Speaker 4 (01:10:47):
I know it would. I'm shocked to hear you say
that's Lenny. Usually anytime I'm like, you have all the
money in the world, like, yeah, help me, and I
don't care.
Speaker 2 (01:10:53):
I also like to go to target, like looking all
raggedy and stuff, and like you're telling me, everywhere I
go there's a target on my back and everyone's going
to see.
Speaker 7 (01:10:59):
We want them money minus the fame. No, I want
the fame to the threat.
Speaker 3 (01:11:07):
Yeah, well you see, you can't eliminate that.
Speaker 4 (01:11:10):
A lot of times we sit there and are so
envious of all these big name celebrities and the money
and the fame and stuff.
Speaker 3 (01:11:15):
I don't know. Something to be said about being a norm.
Speaker 2 (01:11:18):
It's better and the toll that that takes on, you know,
their mental health.
Speaker 4 (01:11:21):
Like at Bieber, I couldn't imagine my kids like getting
threats and awful stuff on social media just because of
who they their parents are, you know, yeah, be terrible.
Speaker 2 (01:11:31):
A judge just agreed to expedite Ditty's appeal process, so
of course did. He wasn't just going to sit in
prison without putting up a fight, right, So yesterday a
judge approved his request to get this done as quickly
as possible. His team said it was the only way
to ensure justice can be done, and since his sentence
is relatively short, they didn't want to risk him serving
out the entire thing while his appeal is just pending.
Speaker 7 (01:11:53):
So the briefing schedule looks like this.
Speaker 2 (01:11:55):
Didty's opening brief would be due next month on the
twenty third, and the prosecutors spawned in February. Did he
respond in March, and then they will argue it out
in court in April, So that's going to be another
big court date. If if this does go any further,
which it's going to, he's going to file for an appeal.
Speaker 7 (01:12:12):
Yep, great, all right, Graham what do.
Speaker 4 (01:12:14):
You have, hight. Big reminder, you guys. Big reminder. Polls
are open right now. Prop fifty on the line in
the state wide special election. You can vote in person,
drop off your ballot, or mail yours in. You should
have gotten a ballot in the mail if you're registered
to vote at your current address. Everything's going to be
opened until eight pm tonight, and if you're still in
line at eight pm, stay in line, they will still
(01:12:34):
allow you to cast your vote.
Speaker 3 (01:12:36):
But I think I would imagine.
Speaker 4 (01:12:37):
Most people I'm mailing or dropping off ballots in this one.
Prop fifty is going to be really interesting to see
how voters decide on this one. It's a measure over
our state's congressional district lines. Fifty would basically have them redrawn.
This was all in a response to the redrawing of
some districts in Texas, and it's a big fight over
congressional seats at the national level. I have been reading
(01:12:59):
different things about which direction this is going to go,
and it's interesting to see different political leaders and otherwise
that have come out on opposing sides of this. So
I'm I'm glued. I'm very interested to see what happens so,
and the number one JV Show rule we tell, we
say it all the time, you cannot complain about anything
in politics if you don't vote.
Speaker 2 (01:13:19):
And also, you don't think you can't vote if you're
not registered, because you can still do the same day
in person at all of these in person voting locations
in your county. So you have no reason to not vote, right.
Speaker 1 (01:13:30):
The JV Show on Wild ninety four to.
Speaker 2 (01:13:33):
Nine, I'm Selena and I'm Jazz. The K Pop Demon
Hunters flow down in your house yet?
Speaker 15 (01:13:37):
Graham?
Speaker 1 (01:13:38):
Nope?
Speaker 3 (01:13:39):
Really, that's a movie's still on loop.
Speaker 2 (01:13:41):
Really, my kids are like over it at this point.
Speaker 3 (01:13:43):
Really.
Speaker 4 (01:13:44):
Yeah, it's like once they put it on, then they'll
want to watch it and then watch it again immediately after.
Speaker 3 (01:13:50):
I'm like, no, once once is it not watching?
Speaker 7 (01:13:53):
The movie has stopped?
Speaker 2 (01:13:53):
Would they make me play the songs there? Yeah?
Speaker 7 (01:13:56):
They're so good they actually are.
Speaker 2 (01:13:57):
I'm not really mad at that. All right, sweled me
for nine?
Speaker 7 (01:14:01):
Did we already go around already? Okay, well never mind.
Speaker 9 (01:14:04):
Let's just move on. I have a quick question for
you guys. Are your Halloween decorations still up?
Speaker 2 (01:14:08):
Graham?
Speaker 21 (01:14:09):
No?
Speaker 3 (01:14:10):
Really, they got taken down yesterday.
Speaker 4 (01:14:12):
Wow.
Speaker 3 (01:14:13):
Now, look, there's still a lot.
Speaker 4 (01:14:16):
And I laughed, and my father in law laughed when
he came over the other day because he's like, you know,
you have twenty seven pumpkins on your front porch, right,
And I was like, I didn't know it was that bad.
Speaker 3 (01:14:25):
But there is the jackelane, so they're still there.
Speaker 4 (01:14:29):
The jackal lanterns are gone, the skeletons are gone, and
the all the like, you know, the spooky stuff and
the spider webs hanging from the lights and all that
stuff that's gone. But it's still like full, full scene
with a lot of different colored pumpkins up there. I
would guess now we're right around twenty one pumpkins.
Speaker 2 (01:14:47):
Okay, that's still fine, right, I think the pumpkins there,
I mean it still fits.
Speaker 3 (01:14:50):
I think it still fits. But twenty one what are
we doing? That's a lot?
Speaker 2 (01:14:56):
And Selena, my decorations are down on Sunday.
Speaker 7 (01:15:01):
I'd be a Graham.
Speaker 4 (01:15:02):
You're like six months ahead of schedule.
Speaker 3 (01:15:04):
I know what happened.
Speaker 7 (01:15:06):
I don't know.
Speaker 2 (01:15:07):
I just wanted to get rid of them.
Speaker 7 (01:15:09):
I am shook it me too.
Speaker 4 (01:15:11):
Wow, this is like a whole new You've turned over
a new leaf. I feel like, I don't even know
you are. Your Christmas decorations from last year still up.
Speaker 2 (01:15:17):
Though, oh I took him down last year.
Speaker 3 (01:15:19):

Speaker 7 (01:15:21):
I don't even know where you are anymore, I know.
Speaker 9 (01:15:23):
So yeah, but today, today is a good day for
anyone listening to take down your decorations because it's going
to be raining tonight and tomorrow.
Speaker 2 (01:15:31):
Yeah, or just wait for a couple months.
Speaker 7 (01:15:34):
That's what I used to do.
Speaker 4 (01:15:35):
Yeah, you wait for about eight nine months and then
look at you. You're ahead of the game. That's what
a lot of people that left their Christmas stuff up
and their Christmas lights all yearround now that it's November first,
you're like, I'm the smartest guy in the block.
Speaker 2 (01:15:46):
Can neighbor that does that? Yeah, but it's all solar powered,
so like they're not plugging in and unplugging every night,
but every night the lights go on because of the solar.
Speaker 3 (01:15:57):
I do love Christmas lights.
Speaker 2 (01:15:58):
Though, I do too because it does make me happy.
Speaker 3 (01:16:00):
But it's so yeah, it's a little too soon.

to talk about here?
Speaker 3 (01:16:30):
Oh yeah, I'd love to throw something. I don't know
if you guys saw this.
Speaker 4 (01:16:32):
A Kentucky woman, this happened last week, and talk about
something spooky right at leading right up to Halloween.
Speaker 3 (01:16:38):
Listen to this.
Speaker 4 (01:16:39):
She said she was anxiously awaiting some medical supplies that
were being shipped to her, but when she opened the
box that was delivered to her front door steps, she
found something very unexpected.
Speaker 3 (01:16:49):
Inside.
Speaker 4 (01:16:50):
It was four human fingers and two arms packed in
ice real. She immediately alerted authorities about what she had found. Luckily,
she was not fingered as a suspect and they were
able to determine once they were armed with all the
proper information that these body parts were part of a
(01:17:14):
like They were meant to be used in surgical training.
They weren't transplant things, and they definitely weren't meant for her.
There was a mix up in what was supposed to
be shipped to her, the medical medical supplies, and then
this shipment and these were from a morgue, but they
were supposed to be going, you know, to science and
for people to be training on them, surgical training and
(01:17:34):
studying on them. If you guys, let's just say your
neighbor comes to you, Oh my god, maybe I got
your package over here and they open it up and
inside is you know, fingers and human arms.
Speaker 3 (01:17:47):
Would you lend them a hand and get them returned?
Speaker 2 (01:17:51):
No, I'm not going near that. That is so scary.
Speaker 9 (01:17:56):
Yeah, I would automatically think that they murdered someone.
Speaker 2 (01:17:59):
Yeah, I think it's like tied to like the the
mafia somehow. Yet no parts you would think it's a
message to you go back into Lake Tahoe with all
the other parts, like.
Speaker 3 (01:18:07):
Look at what you did. This is what could happen
to you the threat.
Speaker 4 (01:18:12):
Wouldn't you be looking at the hands and arms being
like what if these belong to a loved one? You know,
because they're trying to send you a message for something
that you did.
Speaker 2 (01:18:20):
Yeah, that'd be scary.
Speaker 9 (01:18:22):
I feel like Selena, you'd actually be a little what
I would be interested interested in you?
Speaker 7 (01:18:28):
You like watching all of those like yeah, I don't. Yeah,
the surgery video.
Speaker 2 (01:18:32):
Like watching it on your video? Well, duh, you gotta
post it first and then you return out.
Speaker 4 (01:18:37):
Okay, what if you called local authorities and like, hey,
can you put the arms and the fingers back in
there and wrap them up in some fresh ice? Because
this is they're very important? Would you be able to
touch them?
Speaker 2 (01:18:47):
No?
Speaker 3 (01:18:47):
What if like with a paper towel or something and glad?
Speaker 22 (01:18:50):
No?
Speaker 2 (01:18:51):
No, I could just picture like the texture when you pick.
Speaker 4 (01:18:54):
It up, Like the texture would be like you mean,
like human like like skin.
Speaker 7 (01:18:58):
But yeah, but dead sounds?
Speaker 4 (01:19:00):
What about with like some those tongs from your barbecue
that are really long?
Speaker 2 (01:19:03):
Oh this just reminded me of something so disturbed? Don't okay, won't?
Speaker 22 (01:19:08):
No?
Speaker 2 (01:19:08):
I won't?
Speaker 15 (01:19:10):
Should I?
Speaker 7 (01:19:10):
Yeah?
Speaker 2 (01:19:11):
Okay. Sometimes when they have to get like fingerprints, but
it's like you know, but it's like been dead or whatever,
and they can't get like a good print, and they
actually do this, they will put like they will put
on a glove and then they put like the dead
skin like they take onto their hand to be able
to like roll the finger to get a good print.
How do you know that's really on Instagram?
Speaker 4 (01:19:33):
Just because a lot of things on Instagram lately. I
saw a woman on the front doorstep and she didn't
realize the bear was behind her, and then she farted
and then the bear ran away like that.
Speaker 2 (01:19:44):
People have like confirmed that this is what they do
in the comments.
Speaker 7 (01:19:51):
If you stumbled upon a box of this, you try
it out? Yeah, confirmation.
Speaker 2 (01:19:55):
Okay, let me do a little bit more research and
I'll get back
