Speaker 1 (00:00):
The JV Show on Wild ninety four nine.
Speaker 2 (00:03):
Bro, dude, brow bro, how cold is it in Napa
Grammar you live negative six?
Speaker 3 (00:10):
It's freezing, dude, so cold. I wore a vest today.
It's best season.
Speaker 4 (00:16):
We did not get the memo. Me and Cheaty is
in for.
Speaker 3 (00:18):
Jets Hi GENI, Hi morning.
Speaker 5 (00:21):
How did you guys not get the memos? Freezing out?
So I put on your vest. It's best season now
officially starting today.
Speaker 2 (00:27):
I thought this morning was going to be colder than
it was leaving my house because yesterday when I went
to go pick up my daughter from cheer practice for
something in the afternoon, it was forty six degrees.
Speaker 3 (00:38):
Yeah, yesterday afternoon it was brutal cold and there was
some wind too.
Speaker 5 (00:43):
Oh biting. It was a biting cold.
Speaker 3 (00:45):
And that's when I decided that today is the start
of best season.
Speaker 4 (00:49):
Okay, well, good to know.
Speaker 3 (00:50):
Now we know that's alert for everybody in the Bay Area.
Speaker 5 (00:54):
Vest season has officially begun.
Speaker 3 (00:56):
Oh it's so cuddly, warming hive away.
Speaker 4 (00:58):
We are Wildery for anice the base number one hit
music station. I'm Selena and I'm Cheaty. The first talk
back of the.
Speaker 5 (01:05):
Day is here and Jess is not here with that one.
Speaker 2 (01:08):
Yes, Yeah, all I said was Cheaty's filling in for
just sorry about that, Jess left it left in. Jess
left yesterday to go to Dallas for iHeartRadio's jingle Ball.
Speaker 3 (01:19):
Yeah, so she's there. So Cheaty is very graciously filling
in for her this morning. All you have to do, Cheaty,
I'll walk you through what what just does throughout the show?
If you could just be like a couple of times
and then be like nice, let me throw some and
then she's taking notes, and then she's taking notes, and
then from about nine am to ten am, you could
just be in the bathroom.
Speaker 6 (01:40):
Okay, got it.
Speaker 3 (01:42):
I'm living life, Kaddy, Jess.
Speaker 2 (01:46):
Here we go with the first talk back of the
day I CHIV show.
Speaker 7 (01:49):
This is Quentin from Jerik Switzerland. Of course, JAV show
number one in Zerch Switzerland, hoping to get the first
talk back of the day. Say, were we supposed to
do a jump from the knee challenge? Where when is
this gonna happen? I'm sure you have enough time to
(02:09):
practice now, Oh.
Speaker 4 (02:11):
My god, I forgot.
Speaker 5 (02:12):
Okay.
Speaker 3 (02:13):
First of all, Quentin, thank you so much for leaving
that talkback for two reasons. One, because I did just
check and JV show number one in Zurich, Switzerland. I mean,
we've been trying to crack into that market for a
long time, so that is huge.
Speaker 5 (02:25):
Appreciate you now.
Speaker 3 (02:26):
Secondly, I was thinking a great minds think like me
and Quentin because last night, well while I was brushing
my teeth, Selena, I was like, you know what we
need to talk about on the show is like where
everybody is at with their New Year's resolutions or the
goals for this year, because look we're into December, the
year's almost up. Did you accomplish those things? Did you
achieve those things? And we know one of those things
(02:47):
first Selena was doing the Splitz is one of them.
Speaker 5 (02:51):
I'm gonna ask about that in a second.
Speaker 3 (02:52):
But also what Quentin brought up there was the Kneeling
Jump Squad was a challenge that went viral earlier this year.
I mean, I feel like it was the beginning of
this year, maybe even last year, I don't know, and
it was sort of like a fitness test to see if, well,
if you were kneeling on the ground on your knees,
if you could jump to your feet from that position.
(03:13):
Selena crashed into a large pile of boxes in the wall.
She tried it the first time. Jess and I both
able to do it, but Selena said, mark my word,
I will.
Speaker 5 (03:23):
Be able to do this.
Speaker 3 (03:24):
I'm going to So here we are, and Equittin from
Zurich would like to know where are you at with that?
Speaker 2 (03:30):
I honestly I forgot about that. So I do need
a practice?
Speaker 5 (03:33):
No, yeah, times up, give.
Speaker 2 (03:36):
Me a timeline. I said, I'm gonna go home, I'm
gonna practice, and mark my words, someday I will be
able to do this.
Speaker 5 (03:42):
And when in that day you've had.
Speaker 4 (03:44):
An entire year, it hasn't been a full year.
Speaker 3 (03:47):
We might have to go to the archives.
Speaker 4 (03:48):
I'll go to the archives.
Speaker 2 (03:50):
But I never said when I just said, I'm going
to practice and I'm and I'm gonna be able to
do it. But I haven't. I haven't gotten to the
practicing part yet and.
Speaker 5 (03:59):
You never will.
Speaker 3 (03:59):
So why not just use these airways right now to
admit that that it's never gonna happen. But un let's
just try it one more time, just to see where you're.
Speaker 2 (04:06):
It should to be a new Year's resolution of mine.
Stop and I am I promise you, twenty twenty six
is my year.
Speaker 4 (04:12):
I'm gonna be able to do the split.
Speaker 2 (04:13):
I believe it. Thank you chet.
Speaker 3 (04:15):
Okay, but twenty twenty five was your year to do
the splits because that was your New Year's resolution.
Speaker 5 (04:19):
Where are you at with the split?
Speaker 6 (04:20):
See?
Speaker 2 (04:21):
I haven't started that one.
Speaker 3 (04:23):
You can.
Speaker 5 (04:24):
It doesn't work like that.
Speaker 2 (04:25):
There's a lot of training, and you know it's baby
steps and you have to just like you.
Speaker 5 (04:29):
Have to take one step. Then the first step would
be trying it right now to see where we're at.
Speaker 2 (04:34):
We need to get to wait too long. It's like
there's no point. You might as well start in the
new year because it takes that long to accomplish.
Speaker 8 (04:41):
You know what.
Speaker 3 (04:41):
I agree with that logic, Like if you haven't accomplished
your year's resolutions by now and now it's December, just.
Speaker 1 (04:46):
Wait until twenty six.
Speaker 2 (04:48):
That's what I'm doing.
Speaker 4 (04:49):
I'm waiting till twenty twenty six.
Speaker 3 (04:51):
Okay, So so far we're over two on those cheaty.
Any new Year's resolutions goals, anything that you had in
mind for this past year, and and were you able
to achieve them or even make a step towards achieving them.
Speaker 9 (05:04):
I'm sure, all the things that I've put down I
have not achieved yet. Or you started it were You're
probably going to the gym like that, eating healthier. That
didn't happen. Yeah, social media, I kind of stopped. I
started it. But have you just reverted completely?
Speaker 3 (05:23):
Yeah? Yeah, yeah, dang it. Dang well, I about your goal.
Speaker 5 (05:33):
My goal this year was.
Speaker 3 (05:34):
To get back in shape, and now that I was
done building a house, I was like, I'm gonna start
going to the gym again and working out. And you guys,
the reason I thought of the New Year's resolutions because
I was a brushing my teeth last night with no
shirt on, and I was just like.
Speaker 5 (05:45):
Was like, yeah, bro, we did it.
Speaker 1 (05:48):
The JV show on Wild nine.
Speaker 3 (05:54):
Out here it was snowe in the streets yesterday.
Speaker 10 (05:57):
There was no everywhere all the sky.
Speaker 2 (06:02):
Great first ever answered, was it actually snowing?
Speaker 3 (06:08):
Yeah? I saw people are getting their skis and polls
out yesterday to go swooshing down the mountains.
Speaker 4 (06:13):
I can't TELP you're being serious.
Speaker 3 (06:15):
Do you think it was actually snowing yesterday?
Speaker 2 (06:18):
I don't believe it.
Speaker 3 (06:19):
But he just said there was snow on the floor
and snow in the sky.
Speaker 5 (06:23):
So could have end.
Speaker 4 (06:24):
Is this a drug joke. I'm not really sure what's
going on.
Speaker 5 (06:27):
Oh no, it did not snow.
Speaker 1 (06:30):
That I know of.
Speaker 2 (06:31):
It's a wildy for nine.
Speaker 4 (06:32):
We're the JV show. I'm Selena and I'm cheering time.
Speaker 1 (06:35):
Four The four things you need to heads up on
to start your day.
Speaker 2 (06:40):
Opland your next O, glennits that's become the second city
to get those speed cameras. City officials gonna have eighteen.
Speaker 4 (06:48):
Sorry, they're gonna have cameras eighteen.
Speaker 2 (06:50):
Intersections by next month. Once the final one is installed,
that sixty day grace period is going to start. So
if you're caught going eleven miles an hour over the limit,
you're going to get a warning.
Speaker 4 (07:00):
After that, those spines will start coming in.
Speaker 3 (07:02):
Yeah, welcome to the party. San Francisco's had that for
a little while, issued quite a few tickets from it.
Speaker 5 (07:08):
Well well, well I'm not surprised.
Speaker 3 (07:10):
Just didn't show her face this morning because her New
York Giants of Selina's played on Monday Night Football last night,
and oh no, it did not go well. Giants were
in New England taking on the Patriots and this one
was over after the first quarter. Patriots jumped out to
a seventeen to nothing lead. They never looked back. They
improved to eleven and two on the season. Meanwhile, Jess's
Giants fell to the exact opposite record of two and eleven.
(07:32):
Their season can pretty well be summed up by their
kicker last night, who missed the entire ball on a
field goal attempt instead just stubbed his toe straight into
the ground.
Speaker 5 (07:40):
It was embarrassingly bad.
Speaker 4 (07:42):
I loved it nice.
Speaker 2 (07:45):
All right.
Speaker 6 (07:45):
So we're sitting in the lower forties this morning. It's
super cold.
Speaker 9 (07:50):
We'll start to see sun speak sun peeking out a
little later, but tends to stay on the cooler side today,
upper fifties and low sixties, mostly kylie early that some
sunshine later on. So yeah, grab a hoodie, grab a jacket,
grab a best who loves It's gonna be a little
bit chilly today.
Speaker 3 (08:03):
Best season, Hey, Sagittarius, besties.
Speaker 5 (08:09):
Today is going to be a six.
Speaker 3 (08:11):
Your focus has to be on the tiniest details today,
otherwise it's a fair bet that they will overwhelm you
by the end of the day. And unfortunately, the big
picture isn't going to change the next day or so.
Speaker 5 (08:22):
I don't know what that means.
Speaker 4 (08:23):
That just sounds very suspicious.
Speaker 1 (08:26):
The JV Show on Wild ninety.
Speaker 2 (08:28):
Four nine, It's Wild for nine to base number one
hit music station, Happy Tuesday.
Speaker 6 (08:33):
I'm Selina, I'm and I'm Cheaty Graham.
Speaker 11 (08:36):
That's you.
Speaker 5 (08:36):
Oh got it, got it.
Speaker 3 (08:38):
I wasn't looking at you for the secret sign. I
thought maybe you're going to say, like, oh Justice, you
know out?
Speaker 2 (08:43):
Yeah, I should probably say that Jess is out because
she is hanging out in Dallas for jingle Ball, lots
of fun.
Speaker 4 (08:48):
She's living light, she's living a life.
Speaker 2 (08:50):
So Cheaty is filling in for her. And will you
be back tomorrow as well?
Speaker 5 (08:54):
No, but you could be.
Speaker 4 (08:56):
I got Maybe is amazing?
Speaker 5 (09:00):
Maybe all right.
Speaker 3 (09:00):
A nineteen year old woman named Nova posted a video
of her fellow classmates' reactions to her getting a full
Brazilian wax right in front of them in the classroom.
Speaker 4 (09:10):
What can you repeat that?
Speaker 3 (09:12):
This woman posted a video of her classmates reactions to
her getting a full Brazilian wax in the classroom, right
in front of them, and look their face is full
of horror, disgust, and.
Speaker 5 (09:27):
Different reactions.
Speaker 3 (09:28):
Now, to be fair, this was a cosmetology class in Louisville, Kentucky,
and so all the students in there, they're learning how
to do things like Brazilian waxes, but you know, also
lashes and you name it, all the cosmetology stuff, but
they are learning how to do waxing. And this girl Nova,
she said she was not phased at all when they
(09:48):
asked for an in class volunteer. Does anyone want to
volunteer to be the subject of the waxing? And she
volunteered because she's like, that's not that big of a deal.
This is what we are here to learn about, and
you're getting a free wax. But when you see the
vantage point of the video, like there's everybody sitting at
their desks, so like she's up on the table with
(10:09):
the legs and you know everyone's looking right at her business.
Speaker 6 (10:13):
Oh my god.
Speaker 3 (10:14):
Now look she again, because you know, she was interviewed afterwards,
like once this video started going kind of viral because
again everyone's reactions are a bit over the top, and
she just said, waxing's not really that painful for her.
She does her own waxes at home, and so she
doesn't find this to be a big deal at all
from on either front. You know, She's like, I don't
(10:35):
think it's that painful, and I also don't think it's
that embarrassing or a big deal, because again, this is
something everyone in this class is going to be doing
and needs to know how to do.
Speaker 5 (10:43):
So what's the big deal?
Speaker 3 (10:45):
I wanted to ask you, Selena and u CHETI, if
this was a requirement for you to pass your.
Speaker 5 (10:50):
Class, because this is part of the final.
Speaker 3 (10:54):
Would you be able to sit up there and get
waxed in front of your fellow students? Absolutely not, But
why not? They're all in the same boat. They've got
to everybody in there's got to do the exact same
thing as you. So they're going to see your business
getting waxed, but you're going to see their business.
Speaker 2 (11:09):
I just I think at that point I would have
to just drop out, Like that's just not the life
for me, you know.
Speaker 3 (11:14):
But you've gone to this school for let's say, I
don't know how many years ago, but let's say you've
been there for two years and this is the last thing,
the final, and then look, you just need to take
your cosmetology license, and you already have a job lined up.
Speaker 2 (11:25):
Yeah, no, I'm just not doing eggs I'll find another
calling something else that I like to do.
Speaker 3 (11:32):
But isn't it like we got to get over It's
just not that big of a deal. It's just that
they all.
Speaker 2 (11:36):
Say, you ask any esthetician or anyone who does you
know waxing or anything. They're like, we don't even see
it the way you see it. It's just skin to us.
Speaker 4 (11:43):
And they all say that, and I want to call byes.
Speaker 2 (11:46):
There's no way, there's no way, it is just skin.
Look at what's in front of you. Yeah, look at
that smell.
Speaker 11 (11:53):
Oh my smell.
Speaker 5 (11:55):
It's different. It's not just different.
Speaker 6 (11:58):
Also, I have to see these people every day after that,
I'm good.
Speaker 3 (12:02):
But at least you have something on them too, Like
you've seen all of their stuff too.
Speaker 2 (12:06):
I don't want to do that either.
Speaker 5 (12:08):
Doesn't that make it better?
Speaker 3 (12:09):
No?
Speaker 4 (12:09):
I don't want to see their business.
Speaker 3 (12:12):
But like if the if, if it happened to be
that they saw yours, isn't it better that you saw there?
So they can't be like I can't say something about it,
because then you can be like, well, yours is.
Speaker 5 (12:21):
Worse, do you know what I mean? Least you have something.
Speaker 2 (12:25):
Else that if you your whole life thinking you have
a normal one, and then you finally see thirty other
ones in the class and you're like, oh my god,
I have the worst one.
Speaker 3 (12:33):
And that's why in the video everyone's faces were like, oh.
Speaker 6 (12:37):
Oh that's embarrassing.
Speaker 3 (12:40):
Oh that's what is that?
Speaker 5 (12:43):
That's not supposed to be there. Oh.
Speaker 3 (12:47):
Most people's reactions were to the you know, the waxing,
but on yours, they were reacting before the waxing even started.
Oh my god. Yeah, I think i'd quit the class.
I think I'm out either.
Speaker 2 (12:57):
So every waxer has had to do that.
Speaker 3 (13:01):
No, I don't think this is a thing where you
have to have an in clubs, maybe maybe volunteer.
Speaker 2 (13:07):
Oh so you don't think that they have whacked someone
like for real, like a real person while they were
still learning.
Speaker 5 (13:13):
Ooh that's a good question.
Speaker 4 (13:15):
Did you pass the class like you had to have
waxed the live subject?
Speaker 3 (13:18):
Yeah, but like I passed my CPR certification practicing CPR
and a dummy.
Speaker 5 (13:23):
They didn't give me somebody that was really, you know,
not breathing.
Speaker 2 (13:26):
But I feel like this is like, I feel like
this is different if you're learning, if you're gonna be
a massage therapist or a lash tech or something.
Speaker 4 (13:32):
You have to be able to do it on a
human like a person.
Speaker 5 (13:35):
No, you just do it on dummies.
Speaker 2 (13:36):
No you don't.
Speaker 3 (13:37):
You just massage the dummy and put lashes on the
dummy and then wax the hair off the dummy. Yeah,
I bet you do have to practice on a real person.
Do people go in there as like a like you
can go to a like a barber college, for example,
and get a cheap haircut because they're practicing.
Speaker 2 (13:54):
You can do that too at cosmetology schools for haircuts,
for nails, for brow I don't know about the Brazilians.
Speaker 9 (14:02):
Yeah, just as many schools have students practice on each
other as part of the curriculus.
Speaker 5 (14:08):
See, it's not that it's not that strange.
Speaker 3 (14:11):
You just do it.
Speaker 2 (14:12):
Oh my, oh, I'm out.
Speaker 4 (14:14):
Yeah.
Speaker 1 (14:15):
The JV Show on Wild ninety four.
Speaker 2 (14:18):
Nine, it's Wildly for nine of the base number one
Heat music station.
Speaker 4 (14:21):
The JV show I'm Selena and I'm Cheating.
Speaker 2 (14:24):
Jess is out today and tomorrow Cheaty is in for Jess.
Coming up seven h five, your chance to win a
chug mug inside our What the Belief Game, And then
at seven thirty five we have.
Speaker 4 (14:32):
Tickets for six Flags.
Speaker 2 (14:33):
It's like six Flags Discovery Kingdom's all new wind turf
bat That's what I was trying to say right there. Okay,
I need you to go to a JV morning show
on Instagram. Okay, follow us if you're not already.
Speaker 4 (14:45):
And then check out our Instagram story.
Speaker 2 (14:46):
There's a video of a door dash delivery person and
they're dropping off in order. They put the food there
on the ground and when he does, there's a chicken
wing that falls out and rolls out onto the ground.
You pick it up, puts it back in the box
like nothing happened. He licks his fingers and then he
sees it. There's some sauce there on the front porch,
and he just he does the gram trick and tries
(15:08):
to rub it in with his foot so it's not noticeable.
Speaker 3 (15:12):
That works. By the way, my favor still some crumbs
into your office carpet.
Speaker 4 (15:15):
Ram do that in the studio every day, but it's
like magic.
Speaker 3 (15:21):
They just disappear. Okay, Okay, I just watched the just watched.
Speaker 2 (15:27):
My first thought was like, is this AI? I don't
know what to believe anymore. I went I went to
the comments. Not a single person at least. When I
saw this video yesterday was commenting AI. I even ran
it by my husband, who was like, AI expert. I
was like, what do you think? He's like, it's real,
the sound quality, it's real. I'm like, okay, I just
took his word for it.
Speaker 4 (15:45):
Whatever.
Speaker 2 (15:47):
I'm so glad, I cheety. You might not know this.
I quit door dash, you did, I quit door Dash.
I'm one month to no door dash. So I don't
have to worry about chicken wings that have rolled onto
the dirty ground.
Speaker 3 (16:00):
A restaurant that's different. I don't want that still happens.
The chef you're still do that.
Speaker 2 (16:08):
The driver's picking up the wing with their dirty hands,
or sticking their hands into my fries or drinking out
of my diet coke or whatever.
Speaker 4 (16:15):
It's a good feeling. Yeah, I just back to the
is this AI or not?
Speaker 2 (16:20):
What do you think?
Speaker 3 (16:21):
I look, it looks very real. But again, we are
just we're we're hitting that point. We're going to hit
that point very soon where you won't be able to
tell the difference. Right unless there's some sort of watermark
kind of video that tells you it's AI, you just
won't be able to tell it's a very well lit
front porch, and there is clearly a camera there.
Speaker 5 (16:39):
This guy knows he's only I mean, you have to know.
Speaker 3 (16:41):
If you're a doordass driver, you're on camera at virtually
every doorstep, right, everybody.
Speaker 5 (16:45):
There's so many cameras out there.
Speaker 2 (16:47):
Yeah, I honestly think most of them just assume that
they're not watching, like the feed, Like they just get
the notification, Like I don't check every time someone drops
something off at my front door. I'm not watching them,
you know, not what you know? I think My husband
also said, this guy his movement's just way too natural,
way too human, like he's convinced it's real.
Speaker 4 (17:09):
But I did want to run it by you guys.
Speaker 3 (17:11):
I do like that he rubs the sauce and the
to the concrete with the still did nothing.
Speaker 4 (17:17):
There's still a sauce sting. It's just smear it all
over the place.
Speaker 3 (17:20):
Yeah, just help it dry out a little bit faster,
I guess, smear it around a little bit.
Speaker 5 (17:24):
I think, I mean it probably is real.
Speaker 3 (17:27):
And like, look, even if this one isn't real, this
scenario has played out in real life on somebody's ports, right,
I mean, we know this this happens and has happened.
I'm still but Selena, you're starving for your wings. You're
still eating them.
Speaker 4 (17:41):
Right, yeah, because I don't know.
Speaker 5 (17:44):
No, I'm saying, even if you watch this video and
saw that one.
Speaker 4 (17:46):
Of them, oh no, I'm not hitting those.
Speaker 3 (17:48):
No, you're not gonna look for the one that has
the one little piece of gravel on it and just
throw that one out like it's just.
Speaker 4 (17:54):
The safer one. N I'm throwing out.
Speaker 5 (17:57):
Yeah, right, it's sad.
Speaker 2 (18:02):
Why and why wouldn't he A lot of people are like,
why wouldn't you just like take that wing? Yeah, just
throw that one out. I put it back in.
Speaker 3 (18:08):
And he's gonna get dinged because I ordered a twelve
piece and only eleven arrived.
Speaker 2 (18:12):
And then you know what I mean, not gonna get
dinged for putting a dirty wing back into the box.
Speaker 3 (18:16):
Well, he didn't think that far ahead. I didn't think
that far ahead on this one. Clearly that he's gonna
get he might get busted for you.
Speaker 2 (18:22):
Yes, So all right, anyways, if you want to go
check out that video, it's on our Instagram story. Jab
Morning Show.
Speaker 3 (18:28):
I'd rather let me just say this, I'd rather eat
the wing that hit my own front doorstep than eat
a wing that hit like the floor of this dude's car.
Speaker 2 (18:38):
I don't know. I don't know.
Speaker 3 (18:38):
It's my concrete, like my doorstep in front of my house,
I don't know, like outside ground.
Speaker 6 (18:43):
And people like stepped all over that.
Speaker 3 (18:45):
Yeah, I'd way rather outside ground than inside this dude's car.
Speaker 2 (18:49):
There's probably been more.
Speaker 3 (18:50):
There's gonna be all sorts of hair and stuff stuff
to it from his car stop, A little bit of
sand from the outside of the concrete, No big deal.
Speaker 2 (18:58):
There's probably I feel like there's been more people walking
on your front porch then in this guy's passenger seat.
Speaker 4 (19:03):
Though.
Speaker 3 (19:04):
I'm just telling you, if I dropped that wing and
it was on my own front porch, I'm picking it
up and you'd eat it.
Speaker 5 (19:10):
I mean, I'm gonna inspect it to see.
Speaker 2 (19:11):
If it's not like anything off outside just covered his
hair and as saucy.
Speaker 9 (19:16):
So I'm picking up all that dirt and then he
touched it with his hands too.
Speaker 5 (19:19):
That's true.
Speaker 3 (19:20):
Outside ground up just have like where you drop your
food outside, like concrete in front of my house or
like restaurant floor.
Speaker 5 (19:28):
I'm picking the outside concrete, I guess.
Speaker 2 (19:31):
If I had to pick yeah, then yeah, I'm going concrete.
But if there's no if there's nothing to compare it to,
and you're just you would just drop your wings on
the concrete all willy nilly for fun and eat them
like I'm not doing that.
Speaker 5 (19:42):
I'm not doing it for fun. Say I'm starving with
the run wings, so I don't want to throw them
away that easy.
Speaker 1 (19:51):
The JV Show on Wild ninety four nine.
Speaker 12 (19:54):
Good Morning jav Show, It's Joey from Santose. Hey, Cheetie,
make sure you throw in a couple of jets laughs.
And they're you know, the ones that sound like a
squeaking on a window. All right, you guys have a
good date.
Speaker 3 (20:06):
Any do you want to attempt one of those? Because
why are you acting like you don't know.
Speaker 6 (20:10):
What that's about?
Speaker 3 (20:11):
Because we were saying, you know, I asked Cheaty again.
Adjuss is going to the iHeartRadio jingle Ball.
Speaker 5 (20:16):
I think that's tonight?
Speaker 3 (20:17):
Is it tonight?
Speaker 13 (20:18):
Uh?
Speaker 5 (20:19):
In Dallas?
Speaker 3 (20:20):
And I said, if you want to really, you know, accurately,
fill in for Jess, I need you to drop a
nice and a couple I'm trying to the show should
be great, But that but to Joey's comment, there a
couple of squeaky laughs would be great too.
Speaker 4 (20:35):
How did she do it?
Speaker 6 (20:36):
I don't.
Speaker 5 (20:39):
It's kind of like that.
Speaker 4 (20:40):
Okay, give it a try.
Speaker 2 (20:43):
No, I can't.
Speaker 3 (20:44):
That's pretty great.
Speaker 6 (20:47):
Nice day.
Speaker 11 (20:52):
It's all the stuff you need to know, what's hot
and music, movies, shows and the most talked about stories
happening today.
Speaker 2 (20:59):
And I know people love your laugh, Chetie, but that's
the only laugh you're allowed to do today. Okay, the
Jeff one, right, So big win for Meghan the stallion
in court. So this was a defamation case. I don't
know if you guys have been following this online, Probably
no for Graham. But she was going up against a
blogger who Meghan said had posted some deep fake adult
(21:21):
content of her and it looked super real and people
thought that it was actual footage of Meghan, you know,
in an intimate situation. And the blogger, Milagrol Cooper, she
was also clear clearly team Tory Lanez. She was posting
things supporting him after he was found guilty of shooting Meghan,
and there was talk that she was getting paid by
(21:41):
Toy to post these outrageous things about Megan. So Meghan
sued her for defamation, and yesterday Meghan won. She was
awarded seventy five thousand dollars in damages for defamation and
emotional distress. The blogger may also have to pay Meghan's
legal fees. That part is pending. That's what's a little tricky.
So the judge could end up tossing out the defamation
(22:03):
damages and that part is only sixteen thousand of the
seventy five But that's because the blogger is considered a
media defendant, meaning Meghan would have had to issue a
cease and assist letter before suing her, which Meghan did
not do.
Speaker 4 (22:18):
Okay, she just went straight to the suing part.
Speaker 2 (22:21):
So if the judge feels like it, they could throw
out the defamation settlement, which was only sixteen thousand of
the seventy five k. I thought Megan would get a
lot more than that. She was demanding millions and to
only get seventy five thousand dollars, I mean, I think
that's kind of a slap in the face.
Speaker 5 (22:38):
Well, seventy five thousand doesn't even cover her legal fees.
Speaker 4 (22:40):
At that point, right, No, it doesn't.
Speaker 2 (22:42):
And at the same time, I feel like Meghan doesn't.
I feel like she wasn't doing it for the money anyways.
It's more about the principle she doesn't need the money.
She's not hurting for money. I don't think she cares
about this woman at all. It's it's approve a point, and.
Speaker 3 (22:55):
I think it's a very valid point that, you know,
other celebrities need to take note of this case because
it's going to happen to them if it hasn't already happened, right,
I mean, this is, yeah, what we're going to see
more and more of.
Speaker 2 (23:06):
That is so scary being a public figure in anyone
condition because your top of mind, anyone can make fake
content of you.
Speaker 3 (23:12):
She could use that seventy five thousand to buy a
boat with Klay Thompson.
Speaker 6 (23:15):
And oh that'd be cute label.
Speaker 5 (23:17):
And then take it name it the Foot, I know,
seventy boat.
Speaker 4 (23:22):
Oh never mind, that thing is dinky.
Speaker 2 (23:25):
And I'm so tired of your potsy joke yesterday.
Speaker 5 (23:29):
I know, I like that one. I brought it back
for day two. All right, foot c s e A foot,
my god?
Speaker 4 (23:35):
All right, end of the boat, Graham.
Speaker 2 (23:36):
And that's because Clay, if you don't know, renamed his
boat to the ss Stallion's so cute? All right, Grammy,
what do you have?
Speaker 3 (23:44):
All right? According to a company memo, Instagram will be
joining a growing list of companies that are ordering their
employees back into the office. Take a moment say your
goodbyes to remote work, because Instagram says it's starting next year.
They want everybody back in the office five days a week.
They said they believe that quote we are more creative
and collaborative when we work together in person.
Speaker 5 (24:04):
I mean I kind of agree with that.
Speaker 3 (24:06):
Again, many other big companies like Amazon and a bunch
of others, a bunch of other big tech companies, they've
already done this. It's crazy to think that we are
almost six years removed from when the pandemic started shutting
everything down. Selena, didn't you mention that yesterday it might
have been off air that the first person to publicly start.
Speaker 2 (24:24):
Feeling ill with COVID that would be the first from
case six years ago.
Speaker 3 (24:29):
Was six years ago yesterday or something like that. That
is crazy. I'm bumped for those of you that now
have to start going back into the Instagram Menlo Park headquarters.
But I don't really have that much sympathy because we've
been back here for the last five years and ten months.
Speaker 5 (24:42):
We got like a little bit of time.
Speaker 3 (24:44):
We got a short brief stit at home, but it
has been a long time since.
Speaker 5 (24:48):
The pandemic is crazy.
Speaker 3 (24:49):
The one thing I will applaud Instagram for doing, which
is also mentioned in this company wide memo.
Speaker 5 (24:54):
They want to reduce meetings. Quote.
Speaker 3 (24:56):
We all spend too much time in meetings that are
not effective and it's owing us down. Every six months,
will cancel all recurring meetings that and only readd the
ones that are absolutely necessary.
Speaker 4 (25:08):
Nice, thank you, take notes.
Speaker 3 (25:09):
We all need to march down to city Hall and
demand less meetings.
Speaker 1 (25:15):
What do we want?
Speaker 3 (25:16):
Sum it up in an email? You don't about it?
Give me the three sentences in an email, please, all right?
Speaker 2 (25:25):
Thank you Graham.
Speaker 1 (25:26):
The JV Show on Wild ninety.
Speaker 2 (25:28):

Speaker 13 (25:49):
I saw a video of a woman that was going
way too fast on a and she almost god split
in half.
Speaker 4 (25:56):
Oh my god, dude, biggest fear video.
Speaker 3 (26:00):
A couple versions of it, Oh I think, And I
was like, whoa careful, we don't want to get broken
in out. Oh yeah, I believe it was like a
plumber electrician showed up to the house to fill the
same one faulty wiring. Anyway, all right, think about what
that bleep word could be. Remember this is a family show,
so whatever you are formulating in your brain right now
is probably throw away that because that's filthy. Then get
(26:23):
a PG family friendly guest. Submit that one on the talkback.
Believe it's your name and your city. Along with that guest.
We want to shout you out if you've gotten it correct.
But only the first correct answer of the morning is
going to be the person that wins at JB show Chugmug,
So get your guests in.
Speaker 1 (26:36):
Quickly, please The JV Show on Wild ninety four.
Speaker 2 (26:40):
Nine, The Happy Tuesday, Thanks for hanging out with a
JV show. I'm Selena. I got my buddy Graham here.

out ward correctly, and we are going to be giving
you this JB show chug mug.
Speaker 4 (26:56):
Here's today's clip in case you missed it.
Speaker 6 (26:58):
I saw a.
Speaker 13 (26:59):
Video of a war mean that was going way too
fast on a and she almost got split in half.
Speaker 3 (27:07):
D happen?
Speaker 2 (27:07):
I know it's hard, but try to remember this as
a family show. You say so when you leave your
guys on the talk back, Mike, make sure it's clean.
Speaker 4 (27:13):
Please, let's go to your talkbacks.
Speaker 3 (27:15):
Good morning.
Speaker 14 (27:15):
This is Jamie and Martinez and my guess is skis.
Speaker 2 (27:21):
One way, the other one goes the other way.
Speaker 3 (27:23):
Next thing you know? Yeah right and half.
Speaker 2 (27:27):
Hey you guys, this is just wanted to That word
is a mechanical bull.
Speaker 3 (27:36):
Have you around the room quickly, Selenna, have you ever
ridden a mechanical bull?
Speaker 2 (27:39):
I have, but I was much much younger, so it
wasn't like going crazy.
Speaker 5 (27:43):
Much much drunker.
Speaker 2 (27:45):
I was a kid.
Speaker 3 (27:46):
Oh a picture like spring break, taking shots like kids
on mechanical bulls.
Speaker 5 (27:53):
Yeah kind of bars did.
Speaker 3 (27:54):
You go to?
Speaker 2 (27:55):
It wasn't a bar?
Speaker 5 (27:58):
What kind of pizza that mind?
Speaker 2 (28:00):
Genie?
Speaker 5 (28:00):
Have you ever written a mechanical bawl?
Speaker 3 (28:02):
No?
Speaker 5 (28:02):
I haven't, would you ever? I wanted to, just too scared.
Speaker 9 (28:06):
Yeah, I probably lost like two seconds on. I wouldn't
want to do it in front of people. No, I
need everyone to leave the room and then.
Speaker 2 (28:11):
I will I will do it.
Speaker 3 (28:13):
I always felt like the mechanical bowl operators they were
a bit sexist. When a lady would get on there,
they would bounce them into Yeah, you know what I mean.
Speaker 5 (28:23):
That's sort of some compromising.
Speaker 3 (28:30):
Treasure. Treasure. Yeah, I love I love exercise video fails.
Speaker 2 (28:37):
Those are those are always fantastic, great guesses so far,
but not the correct one.
Speaker 1 (28:43):
The JV Show on Wild ninety.
Speaker 2 (28:45):
Four nine, let's go to your talkbacks. If anybody got
that correct word.
Speaker 15 (28:49):
Good morning JV Shows.
Speaker 10 (28:50):
This is Sophia from Conquered and I think the bleeped
out word is freeway.
Speaker 5 (28:55):
Have a good day, way too fast on the freeway.
Everyone's slow down out there where you gotta be. Everyone's like.
Speaker 3 (29:07):
Everybody some food and starving j Show.
Speaker 8 (29:10):
This is Kim from Tracy.
Speaker 10 (29:12):
My guest for the bleeped out word is scooter.
Speaker 8 (29:15):
Thank you have a good day.
Speaker 3 (29:17):
One of those that was probably the most popular guest
this morning, tons of people guessing scooter.
Speaker 5 (29:22):
Have you guys ever written on one of those?
Speaker 4 (29:24):
I haven't. I'm too scared too.
Speaker 3 (29:26):
I haven't either.
Speaker 1 (29:27):
Yeah.
Speaker 3 (29:27):
You just hear all the horror stories and all the
er doctors are like everybody comes in here twice a day,
broken collar bone.
Speaker 4 (29:33):
The handlebars. I'm not doing that.
Speaker 5 (29:35):
I don't want to ride one San Francisco either.
Speaker 3 (29:36):
This is too many. There are too many variables. Yeah,
that's a nice quiet neighborhood.
Speaker 5 (29:41):
Sure, I just.
Speaker 2 (29:42):
Feel like I would look stupid. Yeah, like you know me,
imagine me with my helmet on, I'm just riding.
Speaker 6 (29:46):
I would love to see that.
Speaker 3 (29:48):
Yeah, you're right.
Speaker 5 (29:49):
Good morning, JV Morning Show.
Speaker 7 (29:51):
This is David Alton Richmond taking another guest of today's
missing word, and I'm a guess the work would be skateboard.
Speaker 16 (29:56):
All right, thanks you guys byeboard.
Speaker 5 (30:00):
You write skateboards right all the time?
Speaker 4 (30:03):
Mean to kick flips?
Speaker 5 (30:05):
Oh yeah?
Speaker 3 (30:07):
Nice? Is hey? You guys. The bones of a freemount.
Speaker 5 (30:10):
My guess for the bleeped out word is slid. Maybe
she's going down too fast and a snowslid.
Speaker 3 (30:15):
I've seen a shopping cart one too, pretty hilarious slid.
Speaker 2 (30:18):
Okay, here's today's clip, unbleeped.
Speaker 13 (30:24):
I saw a video of a woman that was going
way too fast on a sled and she almost got
split in half.
Speaker 3 (30:31):
Dude, that thing gets out of control, and like we
were talking about on the skis a minute ago, you
go straight into a tree. Yeah, tree branch or something.
Watch out. I crashed into a tree one time snowboarding.
I mean that's a very serious thing. People get very
seriously injured that and I, like I didn't. It wasn't
a full, like real hard collision, but it was a
deep like powder day and then you get stuck in
(30:53):
the tree hole.
Speaker 5 (30:54):
I don't know if this Wait, So.
Speaker 3 (30:57):
The powder accumulates like on all the snow, and powder
accumulates on all the brand you know picture of giant
Christmas tree, right, and it's on all the branches, and
then it's up on the sides around the tree. But
those branches that protected a bunch of the snow from
filling and right next to the trunk of the tree.
So there's almost like a little canyon around this thing.
And if you fall into there, it's dangerous. It's really
(31:17):
hard to get out. It took me a long time
to dig my way out of there, I'm telling you,
and you're so tired.
Speaker 4 (31:23):
I'm so glad I don't do any of that stuff.
But are you those activities done for me?
Speaker 3 (31:27):
Yeah? Just going just bombing down the side of the
mountain at breakneck speed just doesn't.
Speaker 5 (31:32):
The adrenaline just doesn't.
Speaker 2 (31:34):
It's exhilarating, Selena, I mean rush from speeding on a eighty.
Speaker 5 (31:38):
No, that's not it's not.
Speaker 3 (31:40):
This just dodging potholes like a slalom on skis.
Speaker 5 (31:44):
Yeah, that's true.
Speaker 12 (31:45):
That is.
Speaker 3 (31:45):
You're right, that is pretty exhilarating. All right, let's give
some shoutouts. First, I'm bonzoing free muffles up, bone up.
He had the very first cracked answer this morning. Thus
he will get a brand new JAD show. Chuck it
mugget Queeth Fantem from Jess, which she's back from vacation

Speaker 5 (32:04):
A couple of people came with the correct answers this morning.
Van and Meltpedis, what's up Van? What's up Leo? And
San Jose? How did so did?
Speaker 3 (32:10):
Jennifer and Santa Cruz JV Show number one in Santa
Cruz by the way, So thank you Jennifer.
Speaker 5 (32:15):
Appreciate you.
Speaker 3 (32:16):
If you did not come with the correct answer this morning,
did you get your shout out? And you know, maybe
we just missed it, flat out missed it, but we
probably got them all. Play with us tomorrow. We're gonna
give away another chuck with Mugget tomorrow.

I like to thank my wife, longtime contributor to these guesses,
my daughter, my son.
Speaker 5 (32:57):

Speaker 10 (33:10):
Good morning, guys. I just want to let you guys

right when you get on the exit, right when you

flipped and three cars on the on the side and
it is blocking track all the way up to over
(33:32):
here by seventh Streets.
Speaker 3 (33:34):
WHOA, Okay, the actually alert, guys, accidents alert.
Speaker 5 (33:39):
Six eighty North.
Speaker 4 (33:40):
Yes, that sounds like it's in San Jose. Correct me
if I'm.
Speaker 2 (33:43):
Wrong, anybody here in the room. Okay, I'm checking my
traffic report. I don't even.
Speaker 5 (33:47):
Geez, Like I live in Dixon. I don't know where
that is.
Speaker 2 (33:51):
I don't even see that on my traffic report. Yet
this is like some live, hard hitting breaking right here,
that news report. I hope that's insane, I say, I
think that's okay. Hey, we have Natalie on hold. Let's
see how she's doing. Hi Natalie, morning, Good morning, all right,
So this is for our yup nope. King, it's our
(34:11):
really fun trivia game. I hope you're good at random
trivia because on the line today four tickets to six
Flag Discovery, King Zam, they're all new winter Fest and Natalie,
all you have to do is get three out of
four trivia questions, right, Ken, she do it? Okay, I'm
so excited.
Speaker 9 (34:28):
We call every morning and we have been number nineteen,
like at least three times a week for weeks now.
Speaker 4 (34:34):
So I blame Jess.
Speaker 3 (34:36):
Yeah, sounds like Jess is hating on you. Cheeti's in
today and yeah, you made it.
Speaker 2 (34:42):
Here's here's question number one. Which figure in Greek mythology
had hair that was made out of snakes?
Speaker 5 (34:50):
Cool?
Speaker 3 (34:54):
How do you even comb that? You know what I mean?
Speaker 5 (34:56):
Would they be all like hissing at you? Like, yeah,
oh I hate.
Speaker 3 (35:03):
Terrible? All right?
Speaker 5 (35:04):
Question number two? Who's the original actor that played the
character of Indiana Jones?
Speaker 2 (35:15):
Easy one, all right, Natalie. Next year is the World
Cup is going to be hosted in three countries.
Speaker 4 (35:21):
Name two of them.
Speaker 10 (35:27):
Brazil and USA.
Speaker 2 (35:32):
No, we're looking for.
Speaker 13 (35:34):
I have a soccer player in the back of.
Speaker 2 (35:40):
The US is one of them?
Speaker 4 (35:41):
The other one we would have taken either Mexico or Canada.
Speaker 3 (35:44):
Yeah, North America's hosting the World Cup, those three countries.
All right, Question number four, You guys need this one
to win the game. I'm not going to sugarcoat it,
but I have a good feeling you'll get this one right.
Question number four in a rainbow? What color is second
from the top. Oh, I'm gonna quit.
Speaker 4 (36:11):
I know, Natalie.
Speaker 2 (36:12):
Have you ever seen a rainbow? Yeah?
Speaker 5 (36:14):
I might need to sketch one for you and.
Speaker 3 (36:17):
Mail it to you.
Speaker 5 (36:18):
Red, orange, green, blue, yellow, Oh?
Speaker 3 (36:24):
Yellow? Sorry, I just need to get seen. Sorry, I
just needed to get to the second one, which is orange.
Speaker 5 (36:31):
Red? Orange? Orange is the question?
Speaker 3 (36:35):
Yeah? Then yellow? When you're on the spot.
Speaker 2 (36:39):
I know everybody says that, but you did great except
for that, you know, missing two questions part, Natalie, you
did not win today's game.
Speaker 3 (36:47):
Except for the getting half of them wrong part. Otherwise,
you guys were fantastic.
Speaker 2 (36:51):
But thank you for coming on and playing. Don't hang up.
I'm gonna put you on holes just really quick, Graham,
do we have some shout out?
Speaker 3 (36:57):
You know? We do, got a bunch of dms here.
First one, Hey, Gy, can you say happy eleventh birthday?
Speaker 1 (37:02):
Rey?
Speaker 3 (37:02):
Ray.
Speaker 5 (37:02):
We love you so much.
Speaker 3 (37:03):
You're an amazing kid, friend and brother, and we hope
you have the best birthday ever.
Speaker 5 (37:06):
Can't wait to celebrate you.
Speaker 3 (37:08):
Love Mom, Dad, Leah, that's little sister and Cruz little brother. Yes,
Happy happy birthday, Rey Ray. That's a good point. Another
one here, hey, Graham, Mom in your DM we listened
to your show every day. I've been listening since Selena

They eat a lot, all right, Yes, Happy sixth birthday, Rafaela.
Another one here, Graham, Can I leave a late happy
birthday shout out to my nephew Matteo Ventura. He turned
six this past Saturday. Since the JV Show was on

Happy birthday, Potato. I hope you had fun at Chuck
E Cheese and your surprise party. Much love from vet
(38:07):

a fart? Another one here, high Graham, first time mom
sliding into your DMS. Hopefully you see this and can

JJ and baby Saint. Yes, Happy eleventh birthday, Benji. Another one,
(38:33):
godmother and your DMS godmother Mommy attention Bay Area. Our
favorite quiet king turns at fourteen today. Daniel Reyes Junior
from South City from your Nina and carpool crew who
promised to embarrass you any opportunity we get. Happy birthday, Yes,
Happy birthday to our quiet king. There what more, Hey, Graham,
(38:54):
can you wish Rebecca a happy sixteenth birthday?
Speaker 5 (38:56):
We love listening to you guys every morning.
Speaker 3 (38:58):
Yes, Happy sixteentha That's a great point, honest.
Speaker 11 (39:06):
It's all the stuff you need to know what's hot
in music, movies, shows and the most talked about stories
happening today in the base.
Speaker 2 (39:15):
So of course we couldn't have a ditty documentary without
some drama. So that docuseriies I told you about yesterday,
Sean Combs, The Reckoning is out today on Netflix. This
is the one that is produced by fifty Cent. Fifty
has been teasing a project since Diddy got arrested. He
said this would be the downfall of Diddy, and of
course Diddy's team they tried to put up a fight.
(39:36):
They actually fired off a CS and Assists letter to
Netflix yesterday demanding they don't release the four part docuseries,
calling it a shameful hit piece using stolen footage that
was never authorized for release. Remember this docuseriies told you
yesterday features never before seen footage of Diddy in the
days leading up to his arrest. I did wonder why
he had a random cameraman following him around. I mean,
(39:59):
it seems like something he would do, but like.
Speaker 4 (40:01):
Why did he?
Speaker 2 (40:02):
Spokesperson says that he's actually been recording himself for decades,
Ever since he was nineteen to eventually make his own
documentary about his life at some point, and so that's
what that footage was intended to be used for. The
spokesperson said that they they'd be watching the docuseries for
the first time on Netflix with the rest of the
world today because quote neither Netflix nor mister Jackson That's
(40:23):
fifty cent were kind enough to offer them a screener. Now.
Speaker 4 (40:27):
Netflix did respond.
Speaker 2 (40:28):
They referred Ditty's team back to a statement previously made
by the docuseries director, where she said, the footage came
to us, We obtained it legally and have the necessary rights,
and we moved heaven and earth to keep the filmmaker's
identity confidential. We also reached out to Didy's legal team
for an interview or comment multiple times, but did not
hear back. So they have all the necessary rights to
(40:51):
put this into a docu series. They're just mad. Didty's
team is also threatening further legal action. Diddy is not
afraid to sue. If you guys remember, he previously sued
NBC Universal for one hundred million dollars when they put
out a documentary about him that didn't paint him in
a good light. And so I'm assuming something similar is
looming for Netflix. Now, as for the docuseries itself, I
(41:13):
already told you that a couple of the jurors from
the trial are going to be featured in this, and
they're talking about the trial itself. They're talking about the
mixed verdict and you know why it came to that,
And you know who else is in this finally speaking
her truth, Aubrey O'Day. Ever since Diddy, even before he
got arrested, ever since Cassie filed her initial suit, she
(41:34):
was online saying, I have stories, I have things I
need to talk about that I've experienced with Diddy, But
she never went into detail. And she's always like, when
the time is right, when the time is right, I
will And I guess that time has finally come, and
I just read some excerpts. I don't want to spoil
anything yet because I know a lot of people still
want to go home. I'm not gonna say anything because
I know a lot of people still want to go
(41:55):
home and watch it after work.
Speaker 4 (41:56):
Which is what I'm going to be doing.
Speaker 2 (41:58):
But she's finally going to talk about how he tried
to groom her and what that was like.
Speaker 4 (42:04):
Working with him.
Speaker 2 (42:05):
If you don't know, Aubrey was in Diddy's girl group
Danity Kane like way back in the day. The docuseries
also covers what role Diddy played in Biggie's death.
Speaker 4 (42:16):
There's like a lot of things.
Speaker 5 (42:19):
I know, it's explosive, Graham.
Speaker 4 (42:21):
You're not gonna have time to watch it today. I
know maybe you'll get to it over the weekend.
Speaker 2 (42:25):
I for one, you probably will be.
Speaker 4 (42:27):
Watching it today as well.
Speaker 2 (42:29):
Everyone try to watch it if you can, because we
will be talking about it.
Speaker 3 (42:32):
I'm gonna need to hear from you if it's worthy
of a watch, because a lot of hype. It sounds
like I need to be watching it like I'm having fomo.
But then you might be like, yeah, we didn't learn it.
Speaker 2 (42:40):
I mean, so far, it sounds like one of these
explosive like documentaries that's a must see. But it's four parts.
We'll see how far I get into it. But we
will be talking about this tomorrow. So if you do
get to watch it, make sure that you do. All Right, Graham,
what do you happen?
Speaker 3 (42:54):
All right?
Speaker 5 (42:54):
I have some bad news for.
Speaker 3 (42:58):
First, Selena and I just learned, or I should say,
we're reminded about this yesterday that starting January first, the
toll on all the state owned Bay Area bridges, which
is all of them except the Golden Gate Bridge, is
related to go up, meaning the Bay Bridge is going
to go from eight dollars to eight fifty to go
across it.
Speaker 5 (43:16):
This is all part of.
Speaker 3 (43:16):
A scheduled toll increase that got approved a few years back.
I don't know all the bridges are going to go
up fifty cents a year, so over the next prove
it's a five year plan.
Speaker 5 (43:27):
None of us got to.
Speaker 3 (43:29):
The Transportation Authority was like, we need some more money,
and so they decided and they voted a shocking development.
It passed because it'll be on all our wallets that
this gets paid for. By twenty thirty, the Bay Bridge
will be ten dollars and fifty cents to cross, And
twenty thirty sounds like this futuristic date, like I thought
we'd have flying cars by then. Twenty thirty is just
(43:52):
a handful of years away, because we're right about to
hit twenty twenty six, so twenty thirty not that far
and crossing the bridge will Bay Bridge will cost you
ten dollars and fifty which is crazy, especially when you
consider that we went from seven dollars to eight dollars
on January first of this year.
Speaker 5 (44:08):
So we went up a dollar.
Speaker 3 (44:09):
Now we're going to add another fifty cents to that.
Like the amount of money and percentage wise that this
is going up. I don't remember anybody's salaries going up
percentage wise. But why this is going up is just
getting more and more costly to cross the bridge in
a world where everything is already more expensive. They should
have taken, you know, a look around the room and
(44:30):
been like, hey, everything is getting crazy expensive right now.
Maybe we should pause this for a couple of years.
But nope, your eggs, your milk, and your toll all
going up in price. The other piece of bad news
for Bay Area commuters the grace period for everybody that
had those clean air decal stickers on their cars. If
you drove an EV or something and been using the
(44:51):
carpool lane. Remember the federal government decided we don't care
about clean air anymore, and so you can no longer
use the carpool lane.
Speaker 5 (44:59):
What CHP did?
Speaker 3 (45:00):
That program expired a month ago. They gave everybody a
grace period of this past month. So you could still
use the carpooling there while everybody's being educated on the
new rules.
Speaker 5 (45:10):
Now it's effective yesterday.
Speaker 3 (45:12):
No longer can you be be like, oops, my bad,
I didn't know I still couldn't use the carpool lane
with your sticker that is fully over the CHP. It's
gonna start handing out fines to people that's that are
caught driving solo in the carpool lane with that DETL
in her car. It doesn't matter. Fine, start at four
hundred and ninety dollars. I can repeat that fine one
(45:32):
hundred and ninety dollars. So you want to avoid that ticket,
And you've been using the carpool lane solo with your
little EV sticker.
Speaker 5 (45:39):
I don't do it anymore.
Speaker 4 (45:42):
And get you said you do it sometimes for fun.
Speaker 5 (45:44):
She does it without the stickers. She's like, I don't care.
Speaker 6 (45:47):
Maybe kiss me.
Speaker 2 (45:49):
Wow.
Speaker 4 (45:51):
So just a lot of bad news for today, and
you're a Tuesday there.
Speaker 3 (45:54):
Gosh, I know I'm annoyed. All right.
Speaker 2 (45:57):
Coming up next here on the JV Show, we are
talking about the hottest toy of the holiday.
Speaker 4 (46:02):
It's gonna cost you got everything just more expensive.
Speaker 2 (46:05):
We covered all the things you talked about well, listen
to how much this toy is gonna cost? You talk
about it next year.
Speaker 1 (46:10):
On Wild the JV Show on Wild ninety four.
Speaker 2 (46:13):
Nine, Happy Tuesday, Thanks so much for hanging out with
the JV Show. I'm Selina. I got my buddy Graham here.
I got Cheaty filling in for Jess. Jess if you
don't know, she's out today and tomorrow. She went to
Dallas to go to iHeartRadio's jingle Ball Lucky Hers. So, Cheaty,
thank you for coming in today.
Speaker 3 (46:29):
Did you word all the flyaway Slena to go to
radio jingleble I was not me neither chet iHeart Radio
Flyway Interesting Warner JV crew.
Speaker 17 (46:40):
Is it just me or does it sound like Cheaty's
car is not registered to her? It's the only reason
I'd be driving in the carpool lane or running through
fast tracks without an actual fast tracks if you know
the car wasn't under my name, and those bills and
those tickets where you getting set to somebody else? Just wonder,
just wonder, maybe check. All right, hope you guys have
a good Tuesday.
Speaker 16 (46:59):
Bye.
Speaker 4 (47:00):
So you have a fast track.
Speaker 9 (47:01):
I have a fast track, okay, but it's registered to
my aunt's name, do the bill?
Speaker 5 (47:06):
Okay, so the top back correct?
Speaker 3 (47:10):
That person absolutely practiced. Yeah, Selena, You've been known to
abuse some of the freeway lanes in the Bay Area
that are designated for others. Any comment, I.
Speaker 2 (47:22):
Mean, I'm the one paying for it, so like, if
I do do that, I know that the bill is
coming to me. So I don't. I don't do it often,
but there's sometimes we're like I have to be somewhere
at a certain time and my GPS says it's gonna
take me two hours to get there, Like I'm gonna.
Speaker 3 (47:36):
Do some side driving, and what is there any repercussion?
If you don't unless you get pulled over, right.
Speaker 16 (47:42):
Is that?
Speaker 2 (47:44):
Yeah?
Speaker 4 (47:45):
For like speeding, well.
Speaker 5 (47:47):
Or for using a lane that you're not supposed to
be using.
Speaker 4 (47:50):
You I don't even I don't.
Speaker 2 (47:53):
Yeah, I guess yeah, if you got pulled over right
for just you know, being solod?
Speaker 3 (47:57):
Do you have any tickets or fast track charge? Does
they get sent to your aunt?
Speaker 9 (48:01):
And you're like, oops, I mean there's one time where
I did use the fast the fast lane and it
did charge, and she was like, what happened here?
Speaker 2 (48:08):
So just that and you were in a hurry like,
it's pretty hard.
Speaker 6 (48:11):
I didn't even realize I was in that lane.
Speaker 5 (48:15):
It turns out, hurry, she had no idea.
Speaker 4 (48:19):
That sounds safe.
Speaker 5 (48:20):
Yeah, you don't know where you are, where you're driving
with you.
Speaker 2 (48:27):
I know we're about to get to a very divisive
topic in a second, Graham.
Speaker 15 (48:33):
Uh.
Speaker 2 (48:33):
First, the hottest toy of the season, you guys is
actually it's actually a couple of dolls that came out
earlier this year, but now everybody wants them now that
Wicked Too is in theaters. I guess earlier this year.
You know, I'm not up in my American girl doll news.
But they put out like limited edition Glinda dolls and
(48:57):
limited edition Alpha Ba doll ELP. That sounds weird, Alphaba dolls.
But they put them out in September ahead of the
movie's release. And now they're going for at least two
thousand dollars on eBay because people want these for the holidays.
And they sold for two hundred and ninety five that
was the retail price, So people who got one of
(49:19):
these and are reselling it, they're making quite the profit. Also,
it is so limited. They only made sixty eight hundred
Glinda dolls. Okay, and only six thousand dolls.
Speaker 3 (49:29):
Of Alphaba, So yeah, your chance is getting one of
these without shelling out major bucks. Yeah, they've all been
snatched up at retail price. That's still very expensive for
a doll, but those are.
Speaker 4 (49:39):
They're American brands.
Speaker 5 (49:41):
Expensive to begin with. Does anybody play with dolls?
Speaker 3 (49:45):
Get on, get my daughter some dolls and some barbies,
and she's like, eh, what do you do with this thing?
You know, like she'd braid their hair a couple of
times and then that's about it. Yeah, but that's like
with any toy, like play with I don't know, my
son and I we throw a foot all around.
Speaker 5 (50:00):
That football, you know, was a gift. It gets used
all the time.
Speaker 2 (50:03):
Why don't you play dolls with your daughter?
Speaker 5 (50:04):
I just like, what do you do with them? Walk
around and talk to each other with them?
Speaker 4 (50:08):
Yeah? Yeah, you take care of them?
Speaker 3 (50:11):
Right.
Speaker 2 (50:12):
My boss is really bugging me, like you just I
don't know, never mind, you could play daddy to your
like that's your baby, okay?
Speaker 3 (50:18):
And on this, which is really weird. Let me ask
this because earlier I had you asked any of us,
maybe four or five months ago, we would assume that
the hottest toy this Christmas season would be a baby.
Not like people aren't running down its Christmas Morning and
(50:39):
looking their stalking for one feel like you liked them.
Speaker 9 (50:42):
I mean they were there, but I honestly feel like
they're not that big of a deal anymore.
Speaker 6 (50:48):
I haven't seen it on TikTok in a while.
Speaker 5 (50:50):
So if I get my wife uh.
Speaker 3 (50:53):
Stuffed inside of Stanley mug, I'm not like winning Christmas.
Speaker 6 (50:57):
You're not, but it is better than you other gifts.
Speaker 3 (51:00):
So dude, don't even don't besmirgh the great name of
my gift giving.
Speaker 5 (51:05):
I don't have time for that.
Speaker 4 (51:06):
Gen all right, Graham, what did you want to talk
about here?
Speaker 3 (51:09):
I wanted to talk about this situation and see what
you guys thought, because this woman posted online about how
she went on a bachelorette party. Now the bride to
be ended up cheating, getting really drunk and cheating on
the bachelorette party, and the bride is mad at her
because she says this woman that posts about this says,
(51:29):
I don't drink, so I was not like drunk out
of control of this thing, and the bride is saying, well,
since you weren't drinking, you should have been like basically
the hall monitor here. You should have been the one
stopping me from making a poor decision.
Speaker 5 (51:43):
I wanted to ask you, ladies.
Speaker 3 (51:45):
Do you think if you were on a bachelorette party,
do you think it is your obligation to stop the
person getting married from making a bad decision.
Speaker 4 (51:55):
No, it's not your duty.
Speaker 5 (51:58):
But would you would you step in? You personally?
Speaker 12 (52:00):
But what?
Speaker 2 (52:01):
I yes, like, what didn't you for your friend? Yes?
Speaker 5 (52:07):
I feel like you should, but it's also not my
You're an adult.
Speaker 2 (52:10):
Right, it's not See. If I am the friend, I
would try to have my friend not cheat. I would
step in and stop her, be like, what are you doing?
Speaker 5 (52:22):
Way married?
Speaker 4 (52:24):
Like that is wrong with you?
Speaker 2 (52:25):
I absolutely would say something. But if I am the bride,
it's like, you can't blame anybody but yourself, like this
is your doing?
Speaker 3 (52:32):
Yeah, that part I can't wrap my head around, because
you're you are an adult, despite you know, being intoxicated, whatever,
you can't blame somebody else for your cheating, And that
doesn't There's plenty of guys. I'm sure that I've tried that,
except it's not my fault. He got me so drunk,
I had no idea what I was doing, Like that
doesn't work, But I just did want to ask whether
or not you would intervene a cheating You see a
(52:54):
friend about to cheat, she's about to start making out
with a guy at a bar on her bachelorette party,
she's going to get married a short time later. Would
you go up to her and be like, what what
are you doing?
Speaker 7 (53:04):
Yeah?
Speaker 6 (53:04):
I definitely would if it was my friend, Not because
I have to, but just because.
Speaker 2 (53:09):
I feel like a lot of girls would be like,
girl code your secret seeing me. I'm just I don't.
That's just because I don't maybe, but like I just
don't like that.
Speaker 9 (53:20):
Yeah, especially if you're getting married, that's like a huge
commitment and you're just going to waste it all on cheating.
Speaker 3 (53:27):
And then also you have that on your conscience because
then if you didn't say anything, you're sitting there at
the wedding like, I know what happened two weeks ago,
is compliance Yeah, that's.
Speaker 5 (53:37):
A good point.
Speaker 3 (53:38):
Would you be willing to say something to the person
they're about to marry?
Speaker 2 (53:43):
Oh?
Speaker 3 (53:43):
No, because what if you went to them and you
were like, look, you have to tell them, or I'm
going to tell them and then they didn't, and then
they didn't tell the person that they cheated.
Speaker 5 (53:54):
Would you tell the other person?
Speaker 4 (53:56):
No?
Speaker 5 (53:56):
No, Sciences is silence is compliance?
Speaker 2 (53:59):
No, But I'm but I'm not being silent to my friend.
She knows how I feel. She knows that you was.
Speaker 3 (54:04):
Wrong, but you said you better tell him or.
Speaker 4 (54:06):
I'm going to I'm not going to get involved in
married folks business.
Speaker 5 (54:09):
Yeah, yeah, me neither. I'm staying out of the orge.
Speaker 2 (54:14):
Your friend do the right thing. He deserves better, you
know he didn't deserve that. Or yeah, good points like
you were wrong, but I'm not going to go and
tell them myself.
Speaker 5 (54:22):
Yeah, you'll just see block at the bar on the
Bachelor Party. Wow, fun killer.
Speaker 4 (54:26):
Wow, I would.
Speaker 1 (54:29):
The JV show on Wild ninety four nine.
Speaker 2 (54:34):
Taylor Swift The Fate of Ophelia and g who's Ophelia again?
Speaker 6 (54:40):
I think that's like a stone or something, right, rock?
Speaker 2 (54:46):
Where did you get from?
Speaker 3 (54:49):
She was like, like a a little piece of gravel.
Speaker 6 (54:53):
A little nod was like, that's like a gems.
Speaker 2 (54:58):
Know what you're talking about. That was actually a trick question.
Speaker 4 (55:01):
Nobody knows who affeliate is?
Speaker 5 (55:02):
It's all the character from Shakespeare.
Speaker 2 (55:04):
I thought it was a painting.
Speaker 4 (55:05):
It's a painting.
Speaker 5 (55:07):
What is that based on Shakespearean that?
Speaker 4 (55:09):
I don't know.
Speaker 5 (55:09):
I don't know.
Speaker 6 (55:10):
We're on the JV Show.
Speaker 2 (55:14):
I'm Selena, I'm we were just talking about the hottest
toy of the season. From what I saw online, it
was supposed to be these American girl dolls that were
released earlier this year. They only made a limited amount
of Glenda dolls and Alphaba from Wicked, obviously, and I
mean when I say limited, like they made six thousand
and sixty eight hundred of the other one, so they're gone.
(55:36):
You're gonna have to buy them on a resale site
for like two thousand dollars.
Speaker 18 (55:39):
Good Morning, JV Show. This is Henry from Pittsburgh. Hey,
quick comment on a toy for Christmas. I just found
this out and I guess it's a pretty trending toy.
My niece wants it, my daughter wants it. A fuggler Bugler.
They're like, boo boolier about that trendy or what's going on?
Speaker 6 (56:02):
Goods?
Speaker 2 (56:03):
Have you heard of that? I haven't, but I.
Speaker 6 (56:07):
Looked it up and they are pretty.
Speaker 2 (56:08):
Oh my god, yeah, is a thing buggler double g
look that up?
Speaker 4 (56:13):
What I've never heard of.
Speaker 6 (56:15):
It looks so ugly.
Speaker 3 (56:17):
Well so do uglier than bos Oh my god, there's
are they?
Speaker 6 (56:24):
Yes, a real thing?
Speaker 2 (56:29):
Larious? Oh my god.
Speaker 4 (56:30):
Okay, well now I know what to get. All the kids.
Speaker 3 (56:33):
Move over for you, Yeah, move over because the fuggler
is here. Also, the fuggler appears to be some kind
of bird. If you do an image search and do
only one g there's a lot of bird pictures the bogler.
Speaker 5 (56:48):
Yeah.
Speaker 2 (56:49):
We're also talking about a woman who goes on a
bachelorette party trip.
Speaker 4 (56:54):
She is the bride to be, and she cheats. She's drunk,
and then she's mad at one.
Speaker 2 (56:59):
Of her girls, like why didn't you stop me?
Speaker 6 (57:01):
You were sober?
Speaker 2 (57:03):
Good morning.
Speaker 19 (57:04):
So it wasn't a bachelorette party, but it was a
girl's trip in Vegas, and one of the girls definitely
woke up with somebody we didn't recognize in her bed,
and I feel like it was just an unspoken rule,
like he disappeared.
Speaker 4 (57:19):
We never talked.
Speaker 19 (57:20):
About it, we never said anything.
Speaker 3 (57:21):
And that was like ten years ago.
Speaker 14 (57:23):
I I feel like that's kind of girl cook.
Speaker 3 (57:27):
That girl was.
Speaker 19 (57:28):
About to be getting married like within a month or so.
Speaker 13 (57:32):
I don't know if I mentioned that.
Speaker 3 (57:34):
Oh my okay, so how about that girl code. Let's
just say, because I posed the scenario to you, guys, like,
you see your friend they're about to make a mistake,
would you go intervene and stop them from cheating? Okay,
let's say you wake up, the cheating has happened, now
Selena and cheaty? Is it girl code? You just zip it?
Or are you gonna tell that person that they're about
(57:55):
to get married? Because that this complicates that.
Speaker 2 (57:57):
Again, I am not telling their partner to me, girl
code is like I'm not going to tell you the
person you're dating or whatever, Like I wouldn't do that,
but I'm absolutely gonna say, what the hell is wrong
with you?
Speaker 5 (58:08):
Well, they don't care.
Speaker 4 (58:09):
What were you?
Speaker 5 (58:10):
Well, it's they don't have time.
Speaker 2 (58:11):
I wouldn't be doing my job if I just let
it be known that I don't like that. I would
just I would treat one of my my girlfriends the
way I do one of my sisters. Like, you're gonna
know that you're stupid.
Speaker 4 (58:23):
Okay for doing that?
Speaker 3 (58:24):
Yeah? Now are you gonna girl code and throw it
in the vault? Or are you gonna go to other people?
That weren't on that Bachelorette Tripp and or whatever you like.
Oh my god, you could not believe it. Woke up
and there was a dude there. She totally hooked up
with them. Are you going to tell everyone? Are you
throwing in the girl code vault?
Speaker 4 (58:38):
I guess it's in the vault, because that's that's her business.
Speaker 9 (58:40):
I'm not telling you the cheaters, I mean, that's not.
Speaker 5 (58:47):
Our silence is compliance.
Speaker 2 (58:49):
But I'm telling her that I don't condone that finger
tell everybody that's happened.
Speaker 5 (58:58):
Doesn't the other person deserve to know?
Speaker 3 (59:00):
And you do, but not for me.
Speaker 2 (59:02):
Yeah, not for me.
Speaker 4 (59:03):
I'm not gonna get involved.
Speaker 2 (59:04):
No, And honestly, I wish the fact that me and
she are saying that we would say something to that friend.
I wish guys had more friends like that, because I
can see guys like who you did.
Speaker 4 (59:13):
What and then high five, you know, like I wish
you guys had. I'm sorry, the stereotyping is done.
Speaker 3 (59:19):
I think guys have that. There are plenty of friend
groups where that exact same thing would happen. They would
attempt to stop their friend from making a bad decision,
and then they would also the next morning, shake their
finger up. You did what? Wait, let me see, Oh.
Speaker 5 (59:31):
Dude, hi, fuck.
Speaker 6 (59:34):
Exactly.
Speaker 3 (59:35):
I'm kidding, Okay, But you wouldn't be one of the
You wouldn't say you need to tell the person you're
about to marry, or I'm going to tell them, you're
just gonna.
Speaker 2 (59:44):
I would say you need to tell them, you need
to have that talk because you shouldn't have a marriage
based on a lie. But I'm not gonna threaten that
I'm going to tell the person because I'm not.
Speaker 3 (59:53):
Yeah, but you need to put apply some pressure otherwise
they're just gonna assume that you throw it in the vault.
Speaker 2 (59:57):
And I would say, if you don't tell them, they're
going to find eventually, and you don't want it to
be from somebody else because.
Speaker 5 (01:00:02):
I'm posting this so on my Instagram story to my
careen it. Yeah, totally.
Speaker 2 (01:00:08):
All right.
Speaker 4 (01:00:08):
Next, so are we gonna talk about backdoor browsing?
Speaker 3 (01:00:10):
Yes?
Speaker 4 (01:00:11):
Please, because I don't know what it is, but I
think I do it.
Speaker 5 (01:00:14):
It's a trend, it's a thing.
Speaker 1 (01:00:16):
It's next The JV Show on Wild ninety four nine.
Speaker 2 (01:00:19):
Graham with a very special shout out Yeah, special shout
out Alert you guys.
Speaker 3 (01:00:24):
Are one of our favorite coworkers. Elaine, she just slid
into my text messages. Oh, get out of there. My
wife's gonna scratch your eyes out. Just kidding, she said,
can you do me a favor? I don't know if
I missed it, but can you wish my son Dominic
a happy seventeenth birthday? Today's birthday? And I forgot to
ask you yesterday. I don't know if I already missed
the who gives a Fart segment this morning? You did
(01:00:45):
miss that, but we can still issue them a special
happy birthday and a very special dominic who gives a.
Speaker 2 (01:00:52):
Fart, who gives the free have a great day, all right?
We have tickets for six Flags Discovery Kingdom their all
new winterfest in just a second. We also might have
to push.
Speaker 4 (01:01:02):
Back our back door browsing talk for.
Speaker 2 (01:01:05):
Just to just a minute a bit longer as well,
because the talkback's rolling through. We were talking about a
woman who is on a bachelorette trip. Now, she is
the bride to be, and she cheats. She's Hella drunk
and she cheats. She cheats, and she's mad at her
sober friend. Why didn't you stop me Why.
Speaker 3 (01:01:22):
Didn't you cheat me? You weren't drinking, you should have
stopped me.
Speaker 2 (01:01:25):
Hev show.
Speaker 16 (01:01:26):
I'm going to remain anonymous, but I know this couple.
Speaker 4 (01:01:30):
They got married.
Speaker 8 (01:01:31):
The groom he apparently cheated on during the batch while
the groomsmen were trying to convince him, hey, don't do it,
this isn't worth it, but he ended up doing it anyway.
The bride'smaid bridesmaids they found out trying to convince the
bride don't marry him, but they ended up marrying each
(01:01:52):
other anyway. And she wasn't listening at all.
Speaker 1 (01:01:54):
Crazy.
Speaker 3 (01:01:55):
Oh it happens before the actual wedding.
Speaker 5 (01:01:58):
No harm, no foul, right, what.
Speaker 1 (01:02:02):
I'm kiddy?
Speaker 3 (01:02:03):
Could you imagine still going through with it if you
were confronted with that information right before the wedding, Like, hey,
you're a guy.
Speaker 5 (01:02:08):
He cheated on you on the bachelor party. Dude, you
ripcord that.
Speaker 2 (01:02:12):
I feel bad for anyone in that situation because it's
probably so embarrassing for you. It's like you pull Yeah,
you pull the plug on the wedding and everybody knows.
Speaker 5 (01:02:21):
Everybody knows you don't Wow.
Speaker 15 (01:02:27):
Waned from Pittsburgh about the cheating on her at the
best party.
Speaker 14 (01:02:34):
I had a coworker.
Speaker 15 (01:02:35):
She became my friend, and her husband became my friend too,
And she was cheating on her husband with another coworker,
and I told her if she didn't tell her husband
that I was gonna tell her husband that she was cheating.
And so I told him short of proof. He was
appreciative of it. Me and the girl on my friends
anymore and they're still together.
Speaker 3 (01:02:55):
Oh wow, it's lost the friendship over trying to do
the right thing right.
Speaker 2 (01:03:04):
Yes, I don't get any.
Speaker 3 (01:03:09):
Oh my gosh, morning, guys.
Speaker 5 (01:03:11):
The haircut.
Speaker 3 (01:03:12):
So you know that's very unfair of you to say
that we would have stopped our friends from making a mistake.
We absolutely would if she was ugly.
Speaker 5 (01:03:24):
Wow, dude, it's not worth it. Trust me, bro, it is.
Speaker 2 (01:03:28):
Not worth do you really, because I bet you. So
many people listening are like, I've actually seen the other
girl that my man cheated with, and she was a downgrade.
Speaker 6 (01:03:37):
Oh that's true.
Speaker 5 (01:03:39):
But on the bachelor party, you would try talking out
of it, like no, no, no, she's yeah. You don't want
to do that, dude.
Speaker 2 (01:03:46):
Okay, let's cover what backdoor browsing is. Just quickly.
Speaker 3 (01:03:49):
Graham all right, So backdoor browsing is the name that
has now been given to when you.
Speaker 4 (01:03:55):
Are sitting there now other people's butts.
Speaker 3 (01:03:57):
Kind of not really though, talk to the But it's
when you're sitting on an airplane or maybe on bart
and you can see either the person sitting near you
they have their phone out, or the person sitting in
front of you, and you can see between the seats
and you can read all their text messages or emails
or whatever they're doing on their phone. Are you guys
backdoor browsers talk to? Don't you feel like it's an
(01:04:22):
invasion of their privacy just a little bit when you're
reading salacious texts about who they're cheating on so and
so or whatever.
Speaker 4 (01:04:30):
You know it is, yeah, but they don't know you're looking.
Speaker 6 (01:04:33):
It's entertainment.
Speaker 3 (01:04:34):
I think we all do it, backdoor browsing. They I
saw some etiquette expert weigh in on it, and even
she was like, it's human nature. You can't help but
look at sometimes if it's right there in front of you.
Speaker 2 (01:04:48):
Hey, when when I can't read the text messages, can
you make your phone a little bit bigger? Yeah, zoom,
like Hello, I'm trying to read everything you're saying.
Speaker 3 (01:04:56):
Some people have those like screen protector things on. My
sister has one of the on her phone and she's here,
look at this picture, like I can't see anything, There's
nothing there.
Speaker 2 (01:05:05):
It's entertaining though, when the person is like scrolling their instagramming,
you just feel like what their algorithm is like it's
always boring, but so boring.
Speaker 3 (01:05:15):
Yeah, yeah, backdoor browsing. That's the new term for it.
We all are probably guilty of backdoor browsing, but this
etiqette expert said it is would be nicer to not snoop.
Speaker 2 (01:05:27):
You know, what do you do it to your partner?
Is that still called backdoor browsing?
Speaker 5 (01:05:30):
Then well that's something different. Talk to the bot.
Speaker 4 (01:05:34):
But like looking at their phone.
Speaker 3 (01:05:39):
Kind of right.
Speaker 5 (01:05:41):
Or that's just straight snoop? Is that just that sounds
more intentional than like you happen.
Speaker 2 (01:05:46):
To be their phone lights up and you're looking like
we got a text message?
Speaker 3 (01:05:51):
You want to say, yeah, oh what did they text
you about?
Speaker 2 (01:05:56):
Yeah, it's like second nature. You just look over as
they're scrolling too.
Speaker 3 (01:05:59):
You can't help it.
Speaker 7 (01:06:00):
I know.
Speaker 1 (01:06:00):
The JV show on Wild ninety four nine, care.
Speaker 8 (01:06:04):
Style is here The best part of my day is
reading my clients text messages.
Speaker 4 (01:06:07):
I'm standing behind everyone all day.
Speaker 2 (01:06:09):
It's fantastic.
Speaker 4 (01:06:10):
Oh my god, I never considered it.
Speaker 3 (01:06:13):
No, you have to know if you're in the chair
that the person's standing behind you, they're reading. They're not
focused on, oh my god, trimming your hair, exactly right,
They're reading what you and your partner are texting about.
Speaker 2 (01:06:23):
Yeah, that's a great week. Need to get to the
styling business.
Speaker 20 (01:06:26):
Yeah, the hottest it's all the stuff you need to know,
what's hot in music, movies, shows, and the most talked
about stories happening today in the Bay.
Speaker 2 (01:06:38):
I got all the details on Taylor Swift's bachelorette parties
with an s yes rule. So apparently Taylor has already
asked Selena Gomez and GG had to be her bridesmaids.
More names will probably come out in the future, but
you know, Sabrina Carpenter is rumored to be another one
of them.
Speaker 4 (01:06:55):
So chickeny check this out.
Speaker 2 (01:06:56):
Taylor is going to have like three or four bacheloret
style getaways with all of her girls. Here are the
destinations being thrown out New York City obviously. Yeah, okay,
Italy nice Nashville Fun and The Bahamas So Fun. The
goal of these is to obviously have fun and spend
time together, but to also do some wedding planning in
(01:07:18):
a relaxing location where.
Speaker 4 (01:07:20):
They can celebrate at the same time.
Speaker 2 (01:07:21):
And they're gonna have a lot of planning to do,
because I read that at first Taylor she wanted something
small and intimate for her wedding, but she's recently had
a change of heart and she wants to expanse the
guest list to include Travis's teammates and friends, and she
doesn't want just a wedding day. She wants a wedding weekend,
a celebration spanning multiple.
Speaker 3 (01:07:41):
Days, obviously a wedding experience. It's it's got to be
a vibe. The whole thing's going to be a vibe,
multi day vibe.
Speaker 4 (01:07:48):
I think ceremony for her, it's going to be a
whole like three day.
Speaker 3 (01:07:52):
I mean, it sounds like a great time if you can,
you know, one afford it, which she can.
Speaker 5 (01:07:58):
But as a guest, you know, it's.
Speaker 3 (01:07:59):
Like I would love to go for your entire wedding week,
but I got to work, you know. But if you
can afford it and can fly to all these places
that I'm sure. I'm sure the wedding is going to
be somewhere fantastic, you know, and you can afford all
these and the is she Do you think she fits
the bill for the bachelorette stuff too?
Speaker 2 (01:08:19):
Yeah, yeah, that'd be nice if I had to guess,
I'm saying, yes, I need.
Speaker 5 (01:08:24):
A rich, friendly guess.
Speaker 3 (01:08:25):
I'd love to go to an all expenses bachelor party
in the Bahamas or Italy or something.
Speaker 2 (01:08:30):
All of them. She's going to all of them. So
Lifetime is currently filming a movie based on the Idaho murders,
you know, those four college students who were killed in
their house. By the way, people close to the victims
not happy about this. They think it's too soon, given
at the trial just ended months ago. Well, listen to this.
Some of the actors have come under fire for doing
(01:08:50):
TikTok dances in.
Speaker 4 (01:08:52):
Their wardrobe from the movie.
Speaker 2 (01:08:55):
Like, imagine them dressed up as the victims. There's like
fake blood and TikTok dancing.
Speaker 5 (01:09:01):
If I was one of the victims.
Speaker 2 (01:09:02):
Families or that's exactly what's happening there.
Speaker 5 (01:09:04):
Parents are so mad as they should be.
Speaker 2 (01:09:07):
That's a really good hello, like there's no light bulb
in there going off or on. You know what I mean?
Speaker 3 (01:09:13):
That one, that case in particular, got so much media coverage, right,
I mean, there were and I've listened to some of
the podcasts about it.
Speaker 5 (01:09:21):
I thought those podcasts.
Speaker 3 (01:09:22):
Came out before the thing had even gone to trial,
before even all the facts of the case were released,
and there was already podcasts about it. You know what
I mean that I feel bad. I mean, obviously feel
bad for the families for what happened, but they've had
to really they've gone through the ringer like ever.
Speaker 2 (01:09:37):
Since, I know, but the TikTok dancing, I think a
little tone deaf.
Speaker 4 (01:09:41):
Yes, very respect Yes, very Graham.
Speaker 3 (01:09:44):
What do you have right? San Jose police announced yesterday
they have made it arrest following that scary triple shooting
at the Valley Fair Mall on Black Friday. The person
arrested seventeen year old, and since he's a minor, his
identity not being released here, but they said he had
been previously arrested on a firearm charge and appeared to
have faced basically no consequences for that one, and then
(01:10:04):
clearly he got another gun and then did this The
Santa Clara District Attorney's office also said that a woman
helped the suspect escape and there are also going to
face charges for that, so they're going to be charged.
The DA said, we're going to learn all the charges
at the arraignment for the shooter and this on an
(01:10:25):
unidentified woman on Wednesday, So we're going to learn more
about the case tomorrow.
Speaker 5 (01:10:29):
But arrest has been made, which that part is good news.
Speaker 2 (01:10:32):
Yes, I saw like one of the photos from like
surveillance camera inside went like right before, like seconds before
the shooting happened. Holy Edgar haircut on the guy who
they think did it. And this is before the person
was arrested. So I don't know if it's the same person,
but everyone like, fing, you're at this Edgar haircut.
Speaker 5 (01:10:49):
Yeah, you can't trust in Edgar.
Speaker 4 (01:10:51):
No, that's what I was thinking. Yeah, all right, thank
you Graham.
Speaker 1 (01:10:54):
The JV Show on Wild ninety four nine.
Speaker 2 (01:10:57):
Now, one thing we were talking about earlier, backdoor browsing. Graham,
can you let everyone know what that is because it
sounds like, well, it's backdoor browsing.
Speaker 3 (01:11:07):
It's not that it's something that most of us are
guilty of doing. Whether you're on a flight or sitting
on bart or in a public space and somebody's got
their phone open and they're texting, and you are just
you can't take your eyes off it, and you're reading
all their messages.
Speaker 21 (01:11:22):
Hey, JV's show. It's just from Brentwood and I just
have a comment regarding the backdoor browsing. I do not
do that, but I unintentionally saw a guy on an
airplane once as I was walking down the aisle and
he was searching up how to know if you have herpes?
So yeah, that was kind of interesting.
Speaker 2 (01:11:46):
Have great day, guys. Bye. So you do do that,
though you don't do that browsing, we all do it.
Speaker 3 (01:11:53):
You can sometimes, but you don't search that without a
crowded airplane. You wait till you get home, right in
the uber or something at least.
Speaker 2 (01:12:01):
Well maybe if that no one's peering over my shoulders.
Speaker 6 (01:12:04):
See, that's the thing.
Speaker 2 (01:12:04):
It's like you never know, Yeah, you never know anyone
next to you they're going to be looking.
Speaker 5 (01:12:08):
I think you have to assume that that people are looking.
Speaker 3 (01:12:11):
And man, he must have had a very urgent case
of whatever thing him.
Speaker 16 (01:12:16):
Morning JV Show funny talking about back to a browsing.
I actually was doing that this weekend, coming back from
my Thanksgiving trip. I was looking at someone's phone through
the window. I was on a window seat on the
plane and I was looking at someone's phone through the window, trying.
Speaker 2 (01:12:32):
To read with them.
Speaker 16 (01:12:33):
It was boring, and I ended up watching die Hard
for the first time.
Speaker 3 (01:12:37):
Ka, how is she looking through the window? Were they
sitting so they sitting on the wing of the plane.
Oh the reflection? Yeah right, so she said it was
boring though. Yes, a lot of times it's like people
exchanging their grocery list with their partner and I don't
get to the juicy stuff.
Speaker 5 (01:12:52):
Give me something good. It does help.
Speaker 3 (01:12:55):
It's easier to back door browse the older people because
they have the font uh so expanded. I almost look
at the fat like, how do you text like that?
There's like two words a line. It's the fonts.
Speaker 5 (01:13:06):
Have you guys ever seen die Hard? By the way
she says, you watched it for the first time.
Speaker 2 (01:13:11):
I can't say that I have what I don't think.
Speaker 1 (01:13:14):
So can you?
Speaker 4 (01:13:16):
This it is I just have no desire to.
Speaker 3 (01:13:19):
Many people consider it to be a Christmas movie. Yeah,
the first Diehard, So maybe this holiday season. Could you
guys watch Diehard?
Speaker 4 (01:13:26):
I just don't want to.
Speaker 3 (01:13:27):
It's a classic and there's references in it, a part
of popular.
Speaker 5 (01:13:29):
Culture that you probably don't want.
Speaker 4 (01:13:31):
One.
Speaker 3 (01:13:32):
What she ended her talk back with right there, yippie
yippi ay, yippie kaye.
Speaker 1 (01:13:37):
You don't get it.
Speaker 5 (01:13:39):
You don't get it because it is part of the movie.
It's a great movie, by the way, you need to
watch it.
Speaker 14 (01:13:44):
Hey, JB fam, this is Alama from the same friend Bunschal.
So this one time about the back door browsing. I
was judging this girl at the Giants game because she
was wearing shorts and I'm like, how are you wearing
shorts that the giants name is freezing cold?
Speaker 8 (01:14:03):
Right?
Speaker 14 (01:14:03):
Like, you're not premiere? And her text messages she was
texting her mom and she said that her boyfriend surprised
there were Giants tickets and I immediately checked.
Speaker 5 (01:14:13):
My See, there you go.
Speaker 3 (01:14:17):
You can learn something about somebody's situation just doing a
little back tooor browsing.
Speaker 2 (01:14:21):
Do you want to share your friend's story?
Speaker 9 (01:14:23):
Yeah, So my friend was getting her hair done by
like one of her friends, and they both realized that
they were dating the same guy.
Speaker 6 (01:14:31):
After she looked at their messages because the.
Speaker 4 (01:14:33):
Person who was doing her hair was readding her.
Speaker 2 (01:14:35):
I was like, oh my god, you're talking to so
and so.
Speaker 4 (01:14:37):
I'm talking to so and so.
Speaker 5 (01:14:39):
WHOA, that's crazy.
Speaker 3 (01:14:40):
And they're both still married to him to this day.
Speaker 5 (01:14:44):
Yeah, it all worked out.
Speaker 1 (01:14:47):
The JV Show on Wild ninety four nine
