The Giganic government sucks. Pursuit ofhappiness. Radio is DeLux. Liberty and
freedom will make you smile. Asuit of habing and us on your radio
to ole just as cheeseburgers, Libityrise at Oh we're here. Greetings kids,

(00:22):
big show today, Happy hump Day. It is Wednesday, Thanks so
much for tuning in Today. DanielTurner is stopping by with all the latest
leftist ideas about how they want totext you to death in an effort to
save the planet from the boogeyman.I guess, and Christian Collins will be
here from the Texas Youth Summit. We're going to take a look at the
reaction the media has had to DonaldTrump's dance on abortion this week and IVF

(00:47):
and a lot more. But beforewe get to any of that, I'm
gonna start to show off with this. Meet Jasmine Crockett John Oh, Jasmine
Crockett is. She's a congresswoman. She represents the great state of Texas,
but she's from the Dallas Fort Wortharea. You might call her the Shila
Jackson Lee of the Metroplex, andshe's just a delightful enigma in a political

(01:07):
landscape. She's known for her puzzlingviews about race and welfare, and she
recently stirred the pot by suggesting blackpeople should be exempt from taxes as a
form of reparations. She actually says, not only should black people not be
required to pay taxes, but sincemany of them don't pay taxes, as
it is her words, not mine, maybe the government should just pay black

(01:27):
people for being black, and presumablyfor voting for the Democrat Party. Just
this past week, I saw Idon't remember which celebrity, but it was
actually a celebrity, and I waslike, I don't know that that's not
necessarily a bad idea, but I'dhave to think of it a lot.
One of the things that they proposedis black folk not have to pay taxes
for a certain amount of time, because then again, that puts money back

(01:49):
in your pocket. But at thesame time, it may not be as
objectionable to some people about actually givingout dollars, but obviously then you start
dealing with a different tax crackets andthings like that, and that's one of
the reasons that, you know,we argue that reparations makes sense because so
many black folk, not only doyou owe for the labor that was stolen

(02:10):
and killed and all the other thingsright, But the fact is, like
we end up being so far behindright, and so it's like, how
do you bring forest people exactly? And so it's like if you if you
do the no tax thing for peoplethat are already say struggling and aren't really
paying taxes in the first place,it doesn't really exactly. Maybe they may

(02:32):
want those those checks like they goteasy, so just give them a chock
like they did during COVID. Whatcould possibly go wrong? I mean,
besides the fact that those checks duringCOVID are what caused inflation. But yeah,
that's their idea. Crockett's political beliefsseem to revolve around making sure everyone
gets a fair shake, as longas everyone getting a fair shake has the

(02:53):
same skin color. Congresswoman Crockett callsthis equity. You should probably call it
racism because that's what it is.Of course, some of you might actually
disagree with me. You might thinkgiving away money to marginalized and disenfranchised people
seems generous. She's a giving personwho doesn't love that. But the problem
with being generous with other people's moneyactually has two basic flaws. Flaw Number

(03:16):
one you never spend other people's moneyas carefully as you spend your own money.
This is the reason why every welfareprogram that's ever existed is chock full
of wasteful spending and of course suspiciousexamples of cronyism. Show me a food
stamp or a public housing program, and I'll show you a system that's giving

(03:38):
unnecessary kickbacks to someone who's close personalfriends with the politician responsible for that system.
Not a coincidence, but flaw numbertwo is equally important. Consider this,
You can't use other people's money tosolve a problem unless you first take
the money away from other people. The basic nature of government involved taking that

(04:00):
money away from someone at gunpoint. That's not hyperbole. Try not paying your
taxes and see what happens. Youget arrested, and if you resist,
guns will be used to force yourcompliance. So that force, sending an
agent from the government to take moneyfrom innocent people's pockets is the fundamental basis
for the welfare state. It's statesanctioned forced labor, which ironically is the

(04:26):
reason Representative Jasmine Crockett thinks we shouldgive black people tax mayor money. To
begin with, an old CLIs Shay'sstatement about reparations is giving money to people
who are never slaves and taking itaway from people who never own slaves.
But even still, she's a bigfan of welfare. She's a big fan
of government spending. Funny thing aboutthat, did you know about twenty percent

(04:47):
of the welfare spending goes to thehouseholds that are taxed to fund the welfare.
It's not robbing Peter to pay Paul. It's more like robbing Peter to
pay Peter. A recent report inReason dot com detailed how about one in
every five dollars that passes through thefederal welfare system ends up right back where
it started. What's the point whythe federal welfare state has grown to a

(05:12):
point where a lot of middle classand even upper income households are receiving benefits.
Welfare has become more common for thesame households to both pay federal taxes
and collect federal transfer payments. Abouttwenty percent of the annual funds in the
federal welfare system are simply returned tohouseholds that paid that amount to federal taxes.

(05:34):
Here's the problem to distribute that money. It costs money if you don't
count households that are receiving Social Security, the largest federal welfare program, even
though it is rarely identified as such. The percentage of welfare payments canceled out
by taxes within the same year istwenty nine percent. Seems like those individuals

(05:56):
and families would be better off simplynot paying so much in taxes in the
first place. But what do Iknow, I'm just a racist white guy.

(06:26):
Europe is an odd place, isn'tit. You ever noticed people on
the left will tell you America isthe worst country on earth. And you
say, all right, well, what country do you want us to be
more like? And they'll say,oh, Sweden, Germany, Norway,
I'm sorry, countries that are morewhite than we are, that's what you
like? Well, you know,I mean, it's not that they're more

(06:46):
white, they just have a bettersystem than ours. Well, what's so
great about it? Socialism? Light? What do they call it? Norwegian
capitalism? Have you ever heard ofthis? The Nordic capitalism, that's the
term they use. And nor didcapitalism is kind of just like regular capitalism,
but with more government intervention, that'sall it is. Well, what
do you like about that so much? Look at a place like London or

(07:11):
Paris, for example. In Londonright now, a system so great,
so fantastic. They're proposing a payper mile road tax. Granted, you
still pay tax on your fuel pergallon, you still pay tax to buy
an automobile, but they want totax you per mile. Want to pay
less taxes, simply travel less. There's a similar news story today involving France.

(07:34):
France has passed a bill to banshort haul flights. Basically, they
want to limit how much time youcould spend on an airplane. Now,
I'm sure it goes without saying, but the very people that this rule would
be designed to control. It's notthe elites, it's not the politicians.
It's you, assuming you're French, which thank god you're not. Probably here

(07:56):
with a little bit of commentary, like good buddy Daniel Turner from Power the
Future, Daniel, don't we allwant to be more like Europe? Yeah?
Not when it comes to this nonsense. You really have to marvel at
the vision of those founding fathers whocreated a system that had not existed yet
anywhere in the world, but theyknew it could work if it were allowed

(08:18):
to work. And it's based wholeheartedlyon freedom and on free property and on
private property, and Europe doesn't havethat right. They have a you know,
democracy sort of, but they don'thave the same understanding of freedom and
property rights that we do. Theydon't have a Bill of rights. So,
yeah, you see what the Frenchap proposing. You know, how

(08:41):
many flights are you allowed in yourlifetime? Fifteen twenty? What if you
die at twenty? Can I givethose extra coupons to my brother so you
can have more? Or do Itake them with me to my grave?
Right now? France isn't huge. It's a little smaller than Texas. But
even in Texas, you know,a lot of people would say, if
I have to go from Waco toAustin, you know, let's just take

(09:01):
a flight. It's an hour flightas opposed to twelve hours in the car
or ten hours in the car.Let's just fly. Well, the French,
you're losing that option. I guessyou can take the train. I
don't want to take a train everywhere, right, The trains aren't always great.
Yeah, So it's just remarkable tosee this getting passed and the people,

(09:24):
well the French rolling over and takingit and saying, you know,
thank you, sir, May Ihave another I can't. I hate to
point it out, but I meanno, I don't hate to point it
out. I love to point itout. The very people that want to
use trains for everything are ironically enoughanti pipeline. They even want to move
oil and gas and petroleum using trains. But that's much worse for the environment

(09:45):
than a pipeline. Oh, onehundred percent. Train travel to move fossil
fuels is three to four times thecost it is. It is obviously much
slower. I use the example allthe time of Keystone, and people say,
you idiot. Keystone was never built. It doesn't impact oil prices.
But the market was pricing into thefact that Keystone was getting ready to go

(10:09):
online. Joe Biden took office inJanuary, it would have been online by
October. It was going to moveeight hundred and fifty thousand barrels of oil
a day from Canada down to justoutside of Houston, and that's where the
terminus was going to be for Keystone. Well, we're still taking that oil
from Canada, right We've been gettingthat oil from Canada since the seventies,

(10:33):
except we can only take around sixtythousand barrels a day as opposed to eight
hundred and fifty. And it's ona train, and that train has to
burn tens of thousands of gallons ofdiesel, and it takes a long time.
And every time it goes through thosesmall towns in Middle America, many
of you have been stuck, youknow. But the train tracks waiting for
this two mile train to go buyAll those cars are idling, right everyone.

(10:56):
So it environmentally, if we're playingthe environmental game, pipelines are way
greener than train travel. But yourealize we're not playing the environmental game.
We're playing the communist game. Andwhen you play the communist game, there's
never a winner. There's just alwaysshifting goalposts and shifting rules based upon those

(11:18):
people in power. That's it,and that's why the term climate change is
so vague. Can mean anything ifyou want it to. It can simply
mean that the climate's changing or thatsomehow we've impacted it and it's our fault.
And when they talk about climate change, more often than not, the
boogeyman that they're really talking about isrising seawaters, and the seawater is getting
hotter, the atmosphere getting hotter, and I'm sure we would all probably have

(11:41):
to sit here and scratch our headsand wonder if that's what Bill Gates and
al Gore and Obama are so worriedabout. Why did they live on Martha's
vineyard or Hawaiian seaside mansions. Butapparently today we learn this an amount of
land equivalent to the Isle of Righthas been added to the shorelines of thirteen
thousand islands around the world over thepast two decades. To put that more

(12:03):
bluntly, islands that climate alarmist saidwould soon disappear due to rising sea have
found to actually grown in size.Daniel. This is exactly the opposite of
why they told us that we're supposedto pay by the mile to drive a
car in taxis and of course limitour air travel. Yeah, that's really
inconvenient, isn't it. That doesn'thelp the narratives those types of facts.

(12:26):
And that's why the climate movement pivotsto climate racism and climate indigenous knowledge and
climate and they have to expand intothese other they have to metamorphize into these
other quasi communist socialist issues. Right, we talked climate engender because when you

(12:48):
look for specific concrete examples of climatechange, there are none. Of course,
they like to talk about tornadoes andhurricanes, but we've always had tornadoes
and hurricanes the entire Eastern seaboard thatswoop from Florida all the way up to
North Carolina. And if you lookat a map, everyone can picture it
in their mind that swoop is causedby tens of millions of years of hurricanes

(13:13):
hitting the Gulf coast. I mean, that's just the hitting the Atlantic coast.
That's just nature. It's always goingto happen. We're always going to
have tornadoes. What we're doing nowis we're building development communities in Tornado Alley
and we're building four hundred thousand dollarsMC mansions and all the kids have trampolines
in the backyard and everyone has fiveSUVs. And then a tornado comes through,

(13:37):
which it's been coming through for thelast five million years, right,
and it's their land. The tornadoescan be like, dude, you build
the house in development in my path, don't be angry at me. And
that's why we now claim extreme storms. Well, you know, there weren't
houses in the middle of Oklahoma fourthousand. You know, five ten,
five million years ago, but thereare now, so the climate narrative constantly

(14:01):
has to change. The expanding islandsKenny is the best part. The last
time the UN ever made such aspecific prediction about climate was the island the
Maldives, and they said in thelate eighties that by the year two thousand
the Maldives would be underwater. TheMaldives have built four new airports because it
has become a crazy travel destination.I think one of the princes Harrier William

(14:26):
had their honeymoon there. Right allthe Maldives is building new airports to accommodate
the influx of tourists. And sothey never make predictions that specific. Again,
they just talk about racism. Makesperfect sense. Now. Look,
I don't know about you, Daniel, but I agree with the experts.
The science is settled. We can'tdo anything about it, and the Party
of science is here with the explanation. Earlier this week and eclipse happened,

(14:50):
and I you know, I'm acurious man. A lot of news was
happening while the eclipse happened. Iam I'm very rarely am I the reason
that a clip goes viral? ButI am going to take credit for this
this one. Here in Houston,Texas, Congresswoman Sheila Jackson Lee was giving
a speech during the eclipse, andshe was explaining to young people at Booker
T. Washington High School, ahigh school named after a professional wrestler,

(15:13):
that apparently the Moon is made outof gas and the Sun is almost too
hot for us to go near. But since the Moon is more manageable,
pretty soon we're all going to livethere. Provide unique light and energy so
that you have the energy of themoon at night. And sometimes you've heard
the word full moon. Sometimes youneed to take the opportunity just to come

(15:35):
out and see a full moon isa complete rounded circle which is made up
mostly of gases, right, Andthat's why the the question is why or
how could we as humans live onthe Moon. Are the gases such that
we could do that? The Sunis a mighty powerful heat and it's almost

(15:58):
impossible almost to go near the Sun. Right, the Moon is more manageable.
And you will see in a moment, and not a moment, you'll
see in a couple of years thatNASA is going back to the Moon.
Now, apparently the moon is moremanageable, but Daniel, As she explained,
it's you know, the sun isalmost too hot to go. It's

(16:19):
my understanding that if you travel tothe Sun at night it's cooler than during
the day. It is almost toohot if you are wearing the right protective
clothing. I recommend SPF fifty rightsunglasses. Without a doubt. You know
we will, we will in thecourse of our lifetime colonize the Sun.
It will be hot, there's nodoubt about it. Sure it will be

(16:41):
a little bit like Houston in July. And you know what they will do
when they colonize the sun. Theywill blame the heat on climate change,
because of course that's the reason whyit's so hot. Listening to the Congress,
Shoman and I retweeted your tweet, and I do think you were the
first person to notice it, andit has gone viral, so you deserve
all the credit. Listening to thecongresswoman give that explanation of the planets,

(17:04):
and knowing that she used to chairthe Science Committee and she's still ranking on
the Science Committee, which oversees NASA, you're just left a speechless. She
went to Yale, by the way, she's a Yale graduate, So yeah,
it is embarrassing. She was askedabout her earlier this morning on the
hill, and of course she attacksRepublicans. She misspoke. Of course you

(17:27):
always say you misspoke. She misspoke. But I will not be subject to
these smear attacks by Republicans. Sowe're the bad guys, not her for
saying the moon is a planet madeof gas or the sun is almost too
hot to colonize. Where the badguys for pointing out the stupidity of a

(17:48):
woman who was almost your mayor.I know, why didn't anybody standing around
her say something? This is whatwould you do? You're standing there with
a congressional representative, an educationally institution, Daniel. The people standing around her
are probably professors or you know, scientists, or just teachers. Whatever.
What would you do if you werestanding there with her? Has this happened?

(18:11):
Knowing how nasty and vindictive of awoman the congresswoman is, I would
do absolutely nothing. And then whenshe is gone and her team is gone,
I would clarify her remarks and say, you know, just a couple
of things I wanted to point out, to give an amplify the perspective.
But no, I would never Imean, she has a long reputation of

(18:33):
being a challenging person in politics, and even the fact I'm saying this on
a radio show in her district couldland me in hot water if the house
was ever back in Democrats' hands. It is a beautiful thing, Daniel,
the idea of all of us livingon the more manageable moon. Look,
I, for one, look forwardto sunbathing on the sun. Daniel Turner,

(18:56):
Powerthefuture dot com. Follow him onsocial media as a smart man.
If you work in oil and gas, or you know somebody that does,
you owe it to yourself to stayinformed, to get connected with Daniel Turner.
That's a I look, you justsuch a pie hole and keep working.
Back to the pursuit of happiness.Radio business is a happiness radio send

(19:17):
grazing liberty every Jon Jeff Bezo spota ninety million dollars Florida mansion, which
sounds really cool and all, butyou know, I think I'd still rather

(19:40):
have hair. Hi, thanks forturning on your radio if you're just joining
us. Christian Collins coming up ina little bit stick around for that.
We're gonna look at the reaction towhat just happened in Arizona with the Supreme
Court ruling on abortion and Donald Trump'sstance on pro life. We'll get to
all of that in just a littlebit. Before we do, I want
to take a trip to the worldof liberal lunacy as we evaluate how Salon

(20:04):
dot Com just to report it ona very vaguely reported news story from the
world of New York City. We'llget to that in a second before we
do. You guys play scrabble?Did you know Scrabble is coming out with
a new woke, dumb version ofScrabble? Apparently Metall just came out with
a new version of Scrabble that's specificallyfor dumb people. I was surprised to

(20:27):
hear this, but apparently it's areal thing. If you suck at scrabble
because spelling is hard, Mattel islaunching a new version that's more fun Scrabble
for dumb people that spelled d uM six points. Who's the dummy?
Now? No need for an eighthgrade education or even a dictionary s k

(20:48):
u L school Scrabble for dumb people. I win again, because everyone deserves
a chance to spell success. Doyou all read? So? Thank you
for that? Do you all readSalon dot com. Do you get what
that is? Salon dot com isa digital news website with a left leaning
stance. It's very popular. Infact, it was considered to be one

(21:11):
of the first web exclusive news websitesin existence. And they just published this
article about a phenomenon that's been goingon in New York City, men running
up to women and punching them inthe face for no reason. Several years
ago we heard about this. Ithought it was called the knockout game.
Breitbart dot com today reporting in acity, by the way, where Joe

(21:33):
Biden won seventy six percent of thevote, Salon dot com is blaming Well,
who do you think Who do youthink they're blaming? Who do you
think they're blaming for this? Surprise, surprise, they're blaming Donald Trump.
This is Jesse Small at two pointzero. Apparently downtown Manhattan is Maga country.
According to Salon dot com, allacross Democrat run New York City women

(21:56):
say they have been sucker punched whileminding their own business. Been a lot
of news stories about this. It'sso prevalent now that corporate media is picking
up on the story. So Corpermedia is writing stories about this and fire
left. CNN reported women in NewYork City share stories of getting punched out
of nowhere by men. That's theirheadline. Here's the NBC news headline,

(22:18):
why are women getting punched in theface on the streets of New York?
Okay, here's ABC News's headline headline, seven TikTok users punched in New York
within two weeks. And these areawful stories. They seem to be everywhere.
A young woman getting walloped to allreading her phone or just otherwise doing
nothing provocative standing there, suddenly getssucker punched. Then the sucker puncher runs

(22:41):
off. Sometimes the injuries are prettyserious. One woman ended up with a
broken nose. She had to goto the hospital. So the question is,
obviously, what's going on? Whyis this happening? Normal people probably
get it before I even explain itto you. In deep blue liberals cities
like New York, they have electedofficials who do two things to encourage this

(23:06):
behavior. They allow the mentally illto run amuck. That would be thing
number one, and then thing numbertwo. They created a Wild West sense
of lawlessness by refusing to enforce thelaw. So why not assault a pretty
girl? That'll teach her for notwanting you right? Question. Is this
happening in Florida? No? Isit happening in Texas? Nope, Alabama,

(23:29):
Mississippi, Tennessee, Wyoming, Montana. No, no, no,
no, no no no. Isthis happening out in rural America? No?
Is it happening in college towns wherethere are thousands of attractive young women
walking around? No? Is thishappening anywhere where big groups of Trump supporters
live and govern? No, no, no, no. In places where

(23:53):
the law is enforced, people donot do such things out of fear of
the consequences or just because they're good. In the places where democrats govern,
there are no consequences. What youget are dangerous streets where thugs and creeps
and weirdos and perverts and monsters believethey could get away with anything because they

(24:15):
can get away with anything. Sosuddenly Salon dot Com comes along, a
far left conspiracy news outlet, notreally interested in protecting young women. They're
interested in pushing a political narrative. If they if they reported on this honestly,
that would mean admitting Democrats cannot governand Republicans are once again correct about

(24:38):
how to handle street crime. Soinstead, Salon dot Com, with no
evidence at all, is blaming theseserial assaults against women on MAGA and Trump
supporters. No, there's a wholearticle about it. Hang on, where's
the headline to this article? Letme read you the headline, men punching
random women in NYC a desperate, last grat gasp of the male rage fueling

(25:02):
MAGA. Pretty shameless. The articledoesn't give it a single example of one
MAGA person being behind these attacks. So if this is a mega problem,
why is this happening in a citywhere almost none of us live, where
there's pretty much no MAGA supporters atall. There's no This isn't happening in
a deep red rural area. It'shappening in ultra blue, liberal New York

(25:23):
City. Because in places like Texas, where I live, we don't have
this problem. When you go outto the country, you don't see the
gun violence, you don't see therape, You certainly don't see random strangers
running up and punching women for noreason. So I don't live there,
and I don't live there for areason, and neither to you. But

(25:45):
they want us to believe, Theywant everyone to believe that you and I
the right wingers in the Red States. We're supposed to be the violent woman
hating racists, and yet the realviolent women hating racists pretty much all live
in places popular and governed by youknow who, Joe Biden supporters, and
even though you and I don't livethere, they still blame it on us,

(26:07):
because news outlets like Celon don't careabout the safety of women as much
as they care about pushing a politicalnarrative. That's all this is about.
In the places where Maga lives,if some ahle sucker punch is a woman,
he's gonna get justice, probably beforethe police show up. By the
way, if some dude just ranup to a random woman at a honky

(26:30):
tonk out in a small town inTexas and punched her for no reason,
what do you think, knowing howpeople are in rural Texas, what do
you think the random people standing aroundwould do if they witnessed it. In
New York City, you can suckerpunch women and then count on women hating
outlets like Salon dot com to JesseSmollett, the whole problem away. And

(26:52):
that's where we are now. There'sa video I recently posted to the Walton
and Johnson Instagram account detailing displaying whatI've just described. You a guy on
a train in New York City randomlywalking up to people, elderly people,
women, children and threatening to hurtthem, swinging his arms at them,

(27:12):
making Karate sounds while he does it. You know why he does that to
women and children in the elderly inNew York City. He knows he can
get away with it, and theydo. Nobody standing around does anything about
it. Nobody stops the guy.And that's the problem. And that's why

(27:32):
in November, remember that on anational level, that's what you're voting against.
It's not just in Houston, it'snot just in Texas, it's the
whole country. Pray for New YorkCity, but you know, save some
of your prayers for the people thatactually care. If you can hear my
voice, you're still above ground, alive and listening to Kenny Webster on KPRC

(27:56):
nine point fifty plus. You don'tsmell like a dead person. I'm gonna
be up in the Woodlands this weekendto see this band. This isn't a
commercial or anything, just talking aboutwhat I'm just happened to be. What

(28:18):
I'm doing this weekend. A bunchof really great bands are playing at the
Woodlands Pavilion this weekend, including Primusand a Perfect Circle. Maynard James keenan
from Toole. It's his sixtieth birthdayparty. So I'm gonna be up in
that part of the city, suburbs, whatever you describe that part of the
state of Texas. And whenever I'mup there, I always think of my
buddy Christian Collins. Christian Collins createda group called the Texas Youth Summit and

(28:40):
they have led the way not justin the state but around the region and
getting young people to vote Republican.High school and college age kids are moving
to the Republican Party after attending oneof Christian Collins' youth summits and learning about
any number of issues including immigration, the economy, war, domestic and abroad.
And let's not forget about this, the right to life, right abortion

(29:04):
and whether your pro abortion or antiabortion. You must have an opinion about
what Donald Trump said this week.Donald Trump came out this week and he
started off first with a statement aboutIVF and then he moved into his stance
on abortion, and essentially he saysabortion should be a state's rights issue.

(29:25):
California and Texas, just like withmarijuana and gun laws, can choose to
have slightly different laws when it comesto abortion. But the part of it
no one even paid attention to.He started off by signaling support for IVF.
Under my leadership, the Republican Partywill always support the creation of strong,
thriving, and healthy American families. We want to make it easier for

(29:48):
mothers and families to have babies, not harder. That include supporting the availability
of fertility treatments like IVF in everystate in America. Like the overwhelming majority
of Americans, including the vast majorityof Republicans, Conservatives, Christians, and
pro life Americans, I strongly supportthe availability of IVF for couples who are

(30:12):
trying to have a precious baby.Look, it's a sweet point and also
trumb always makes me laugh when he'sexplaining things like that. But for those
of the time, most you knowwhat IVF is, right, like making
a baby in a laboratory, thejoining of a sperm in an egg in
a laboratory dish, it means it'soutside the body. Fertilization means the sperm's

(30:33):
been attached to and entered the egg, not inside of a woman, but
in a laboratory. It's very youknow, it's somewhat controversial, but I
don't think it's that controversial. Asa Catholic, would I do it?
Probably not. I mean, besidesthe fact that I'm a man, I
I don't know if this should beillegal, and I don't know that many
Republicans who do. But on anational level, this is something that the

(30:53):
left seems to believe all Republicans areagainst. Here are the reaction Christian Collins
from the Texas Youth Foundation. Well, Kenny, thank you for all that
you do, and thank you somuch for having me on. And I
want to remind your listeners that asan evangelical, I'm personally one hundred percent
pro life. Now, there's beenno president in history that has been more

(31:18):
on the side of life than PresidentTrump. President Trump has fought tirelessly for
making sure that we have the rightSupreme Court justices, and he successfully in
that way overturned Roe v. Wayne. I give him the credit for that.
He's the only president that's ever spokenat the March for Life problem.
And there's countless other victories that maybemany have forgotten about. He permitted states

(31:44):
to defund Planned Parenthood of Title Xfunds. He stopped tax dollars funding abortion
overseas. He defunded the pro abortionUNFPA. I could go on, but
there were so many victories during PresidentTrump's presidency for four years that he definitely
needs another four years. And weshould unite as evangelicals around this man and

(32:07):
ensure that he gets this victory intwenty twenty four because President if Joe Biden
wins reelection, God help us.We're in deep trouble and he's going to
pack the Supreme Court and he'll doa lot worse, and we'll see what
happens. But we've got to makesure that President Trump gets re elected.
The left claims that Trump is lyingabout his stance on abortion, that after

(32:30):
he gets into office, he willsupport a federal ban on abortion. Now,
say what you will about Trump, maybe you like his policies, maybe
you don't. And obviously you andI are supporters of the guy. But
anybody out there, even if theyhate him, they can't deny the fact
that when he got into the officeof the presidency as the forty fifth president,
for the most part, the policieshe supported were exactly what he campaigned

(32:51):
on. Now, compare that tohis opponent, Joe Biden modeled himself after
a moderate. He said over andover again, I'm not Bernie Sanders,
I'm not a socialist, I'm noton the far left, and then when
he got into office, he immediatelybehaved like a socialist. I guess it's
just more hyperbole from the left. But does it shock you Christian to learn
that their only response to this isthat Donald Trump is lying. Well,

(33:15):
you know, here's my thought processis they're going to say whatever they want
to say to their voters to makehim seem that he's some extreme person.
But they're the ones that are extreme. They're the ones that want to commit
in fantaside and take the life ofan unborn child up to nine months of

(33:37):
pregnancy. You know, that isinsane, and that's what many of their
leaders in the Democrat Party believe. And so it's there, it's them who
are the extreme ones. But PresidentTrump knows he needs to say what he
needs to say at this moment intime. He feels that, you know,
he needs to walk a fine lineand leave it to the states.

(34:00):
But I think when push comes toshove, I think he will always veer
on the side of life. Buthe's in. He's in. You know,
he's in a situation at this pointin time where he needs to focus
on the border that you know,is incredibly important, and he needs to
focus on some of these other issuesin terms of Biden's economic failures and foreign

(34:23):
policy woes. I mean, thesehave been gaping holes in his administration.
And so I think President Trump doesn'twant suburban women to come out in droves
for this single issue, and hewants it to be about, you know,
all of these other issues that havebeen so important, and it's the

(34:44):
reason why we're we're so up inthe polls at this point. The silver
lining to the state's rights argument Christian, as I pointed out on the show
before, is this might actually bethe catalyst. This might be the single
issue that keeps some of the peopleon the far left from leaving California and
moving to tag We've heard about thisbefore. If you rent a U haul
moving truck and you go from Texasto California, it costs three times less

(35:08):
than it costs to drive a truckfrom California to Texas. It's the same
distance, it's the same two locations. But since so many people are moving
from California to Texas and nobody's movingfrom Texas to California, what if this
is the single issue of all theabsurd issues out there that actually stops people
from the far left from moving tothe lone star stand. I mean,

(35:29):
it's probably not the reason that hesupported this issue or the reason he took
this stance, but you know,it's it's kind of a bonus to me.
Christian your thoughts on that, Hey, well, we definitely need to
keep you know, liberal Californians outof Texas. Now. That said,
I mean, the conservatives that wantto come here from all across the country.

(35:51):
There's a reason why they're coming here. It's the seventh largest economy in
the world. Texas is a greatplace to live, and you know,
I mean, I don't blame themfor wanting to come here. I mean,
it's a great state. That said, you know, at some point,
I mean, we must work toend abortion. It is the greatest
genocide of our generation. I mean, over sixty million children have been aborted,

(36:15):
and it's it's a modern day genocide. So we do have to work
in increments sometimes to achieve the objective, and work to make sure that we
sway public opinion on this issue. And so that's why working with the youth
and making sure that we're educating themwith the right values is important. Because

(36:35):
Andrew Breitbart, he said that politicsstreams down from culture. So that's why,
that's why affecting the culture and makingsure that public opinion is in our
favor is the right thing to do. And so that way, when you
know Supreme Court justice is overturned Roev. Wade, we have the pulling

(36:57):
and we are on the right sideof that issue. That's that's why.
And lawmakers and Texas create you know, laws, and I mean they did
a great job this past session andcreating that law to stop abortion up to
six weeks of pregnancy. That's that'sa great step in the right direction.
And do we need to go further, absolutely, absolutely, But you know,

(37:21):
we have to make sure that weremember that, you know, we
we have to count our victories alongthe way. And sometimes to end something
it takes years, it takes ittakes decades to achieve an objective, and
so you know, I just Ilook at it that way, and I
don't. I don't see it asall or nothing. Yeah, you know,

(37:44):
Christian. One of the reasons Ienjoy talking to you is you can
you're as a Christian, I alwaysfeel like you put your religion before your
politics because that shows that your principled. And it's part of the reason why
when we're talking about real touchy subjectslike this, I always feel like you
have a Even though some people mightthink you have a hard line stance as
a conservative, You're You're objective aboutit. You know, you're you're objectively

(38:05):
sensitive to everybody's opinion here, Andthat's why I'm curious, is we uh
you know. A touchier part ofthis topic I wanted to ask you about
involves Congresswoman Anna Paulina Luna of Florida. She just came out and said it
and is being criticized quite a bitby the pro abortion crowd that if she's
so pro life, why does shesupport the death penalty for repeat sex abusers

(38:28):
or the death death penalty for massmurderers for that matter. And I'm just
curious, as a man of God, as a man of faith, how
would you answer that question? Well, I know exactly what she's doing and
she wants to create a you know, a vote where people will reveal their
cars. And you know, therehas been, especially on the Democrat side,

(38:50):
there has been increasing please support forpedophilia. And so they're they're leaders
in the Democrat Party in California, for example, who actually support this outright
and and they they they use theterm minor attracted persons to to sort of
normalize it. And and and she'saware of this. And I think what

(39:10):
she's doing here is she's there's athere's a vote that she's trying to put
it in place so that the publicunderstands where everyone stands. And they'll see
that Republicans are against uh, youknow, pedophilia and there needs to be
harsh consequences for it, and they'llsee that Democrats are not. And so
regardless of whether this law or whetherthis bill ever becomes a law, this

(39:36):
this vote will be an indicator ofwhere everyone stands. And I think that
will be something that will be talkedabout by the general public. So I
think I think what she's doing isa good thing. Yeah, I think
it's brilliant. It's absolutely one hundredpercent. Hey on a light or not
Before we sign off here, Ijust want to just to watch the taste
of some of these horrible topics outof people's ear canals for a second.

(39:57):
This is important stuff, but Ialways hate to end the note of the
show on a down note. Alittle good news about the personal life of
my buddy, Christian Collins, TexasYouth Summit Leader, Texas Conservative Thought Leader.
Christian, you just bought your firsthouse. Congratulations, you own a
slice of Texas. What does thatfeel like today, my brother, Well,
you know, it's been great, you know, to be a homeowner

(40:20):
here in Montgomery County, and I'vereally been blessed, and you know,
I think it's a great thing. You know, home ownership is it parallels
with being a conservative because the morepeople rent, they tend to trend Democrat.
And you know, people that areowning their own homes and they have
to pay property taxes, they realizehow much they're paying, they realize,

(40:45):
you know, what everything goes, what it takes to own a home.
You know, they tend to trendRepublican. And so I think home ownership
for everyone is a good thing. And whatever we can do here in the
state of Texas to make it moreaffordable, hope I hope the legislature will
work to decrease property taxes even more, and I've heard from state legislators and

(41:07):
state senators that they're working toward that. That's a good thing. So I'm
just proud to be a homeowner, proud to to do good in the world,
and hope to have many more ofthese properties and rent them out and
and uh you know, help helpothers, uh you know, in the
in the renting phase, and thateventually hope that more people can own.
