(00:00):
Jack gannon government sucks. The Suitof Happiness radio is deluxe. Liberty and
freedom will make you smile of asuit of happiness us on your radio to
ol just as cheeseburgers a liberty riseat the food. Uh. Yeah,
(00:24):
it's not going to affect anything.Calm down, everybody. Hunter Biden the
Brig breaking news today. A Delawarejury has decided Hunter Biden is guilty on
the three federal felonies which the President'ssun was charged related to a twenty eighteen
purchase of a firearm while addicted toand using illicit drugs. We'll get to
(00:44):
that in just a second. Thereis I don't think that's going to have
much effect on anything, and I'llexplain why briefly in just a few moments
here. But before we get toany of that, news that actually does
affect you, some of the mostconservative members of the Texas State House are
being censured by their party. Theywere going to try to kick them out
of the political part the Republican Party. To be clear, State Representative Steve
(01:07):
Toath will be joining us in justa little bit to tell you what happened
to him and Holly Hansen's here todayfrom the Texan News. There's a another
little interesting controversy brewing around the stateinvolving license plate cameras and a violation of
your personal privacy. The libertarian andme is disgusted by this. We'll get
to that real soon. And thecity of Pasadena ever heard of it?
(01:29):
They just got into a little bitof trouble for bad public policy. What
does that mean? We'll get toit real soon. Before we get to
any of that, the Delaware jurydeciding Hunter Biden's fate reached a verdict three
federal felonies which the president's son wascharged with. He's guilty ought not to
have done that, as announced bythe four person earlier today. After just
(01:49):
a few hours of deliberations, thejury found Hunter Biden guilty on all three
out of how we have a sumof the results if we could ken go
ahead MSM. You see, I'mtold renown we can't yet. The jury
verifying him guilty count two, thejury finds hunter By guilty. I'll just
(02:10):
tell you it's a false statement. He lied about it. False statement,
transactional record, firearm sale, andillegal possession of a firearm three things,
okay. Deliberations began yesterday The closingarguments took place after the sixth day of
the trial. The charges carry sendsit up to twenty five years in prison
and a finest seven hundred fifty thousanddollars. Don't worry, that's not going
(02:30):
to happen. The trial itself wasn'ta certainty, but there was a sweetheart
plea deal between Special Counsel David Wiseand Hunter's attorneys that imploded, you may
recall, and jurors heard from Hunter'sex wife, his daughter, an intimate
partner. I believe her name wasWeed Slut four twenty, the widow of
(02:51):
brother Bo. You remember he smokedcrack with her. Law enforcement officials and
employees who sold Hunter the firearm.Evidence presented at the trial rain from excerpts
of Hunter's memoir and self narrated audiobook. The guy admitted in his own words,
he was on drugs around the timewhen he bought the gun, and
he you know, and he admittedit. So there wasn't really any shock
(03:13):
here. Now. What is alittle shocking is this. Joe Biden is
hosting an event today this afternoon aboutsubverting the Second Amendment rights of Americans and
bolstering demands for gun control. Yeah, Joe Biden is hosting a gun control
event hours after his son was foundguilty of violating a gun laws. That's
probably going on right now. Iwonder if he'll talk about it. I
(03:35):
guess we'll know by later today thePresident. They announced we'll deliver remarks at
every town's Gun sens University at WashingtonHilton, the Washington Hilton. I hear
they got a good breakfast. Joewill highlight the progress to keep guns out
of dangerous hands, you know, like his son. By the way,
can I just point out here thisis not going to affect the election.
This is not going to affect yourlife. And I know you're probably not
(03:59):
expecting me to say this, butI don't really care that Hunter did this.
No victim, no crime, Sorry, Republicans. That's just my opinion.
I don't Okay, he was addictedto guns and drugs and he had
a gun. Did he use thegun to hurt somebody? No? He
could have. Okay, could have. Lightning could have struck today and it
(04:19):
could have killed you, But itdidn't. The irony to me is just
that his dad's hosting a gun controlevent. That's the real kicker. That's
the real punch in the balls todayis you're telling me the same day.
That can't be a coincidence, amI right? The gun control lobby has
failed to condemn Hunter's violation of currentgun laws as they advocate for additional crackdowns
(04:42):
on firearm ownership for regular law abidingAmericans. You know who's attending this event,
Michael Bloomberg, the guy that wentout and basically made smoking cigarettes illegal
in New York City and by proxy, in the rest of the country.
Joe has maintained he will not pardonHunter. I bet he does. I'll
bet you anything Joe loses in November. If Joe loses in November, I
(05:04):
bet he pardons his son on hisway out the door, because what would
be the harm. Hunter's never goingto run for office? What do they
care? By the way, areport today from Breitbart dot Com points out
how apparently fifty seven percent of voterssay Joe Biden's mental decline is real.
More than half of Americans who votethink Joe Biden is losing it. Did
(05:27):
you see him yesterday at the Juneteenthevent? Yesterday was June tenth, and
I guess the White House must havethought June tenth is June tenth, it's
not juneteenth is on the nineteenth, but whatever, Tomato Tomato Rasmussen reports they
asked one thousand and eighty likely votersa pretty straightforward question, do you feel
like overtime Joe's getting less and lessmentally sharp? And more than half of
(05:53):
them said, yeah, there's nodoubt about that. Now that actually will
affect the election in November. Andwhether or not he's getting dementia, that's
not really up for debate here.I think we know that's true. I
bet that moment where he said hewouldn't pardon his son, yeah, I
bet he forgets about that come November. You're listening to Kenny Webster's Pursuit of
(06:13):
Happiness. Please, if you're offendedby anything you heard, to get a
piece of paper, write down adetailed description of what bothered you, and
fax it to one eight eight eight. Nobody gives a fun so tale as
old as time. Your city setup license plate readers. Maybe they set
up red light cameras, and allof a sudden, the number of people
(06:36):
getting rear ended skyrockets. Harris Countyyears ago banned these. You probably know
that I always thought that was reallycool when I moved here ten years ago.
I'm from Chicago. I imagine alot of you probably know that if
you listen to this radio show regularlyand again. I like Davy Crockett.
I got to Texas as quickly asI could, but I remember living in
Chicago and the light would change realfast. He would go from green to
(07:00):
yellowed to red. And the pointwas they wanted you to get a fine.
You're in the middle of the intersectionwhen the light change is real fast,
and you get charged three hundred dollars. Not only is it expensive and
really just another example of cronyism, but also kind of dangerous. It made
a lot of people slam on theirbrakes in an effort to avoid getting the
two three, four hundred dollars exorbitantamount of money you're being asked to pay
(07:23):
for this well, As it turnsout, once again, the license plate
readers have become a source of controversyhere in the state of Texas. The
Texas Dot News has a report today. Automatic license plate readers use in Texas
prompt privacy and legal concerns. Isit okay for the government to spy on
you? In fact, it appearsas though this report isn't really even about
(07:45):
red light cameras. Here to explainit to us, Holly Hanson, Holly,
what's going on? Hey? Yeah, So the state of Texas banned
those red light cameras as we calledthem, a couple of years ago,
but lately we've seen an expansion ofu some of these automatic license plate readers.
They're in Houston, they're all overthe state of Texas, mostly in
urban areas. But what they dois they read the likelate of every single
(08:09):
car that goes past. What's different, though, is there's a new company
that's really expanded the use of these. It's called Flock Safety, and they
use a high resolution camera, sothey create a more detailed file that includes
the color, make, model ofyour car, and any identifying information such
as bumper stickers, if you've gotluggage, rafts or hitch that's all uploaded
(08:33):
into cloud based technology and they matchedup with it with a national database in
real time. And so there's alot of concerns. And what we're seeing
is some of the police departments insome of the local cities are actually offering
local homeowners associations financing to get startedinstalling these so that the police department can
(08:56):
have access to them, and they'rereally selling it as a safety measure.
And this company, Flock, actuallyadvertises that they're going to end crime in
your community. But you know, there's a lot of concerns because it's uploading
all this data and correlating it withnational data and can actually have the effect
of mapping everywhere you've been in thepast thirty days or so. Now,
(09:20):
a lot of departments using this technologysay they're only keeping the data for thirty
days, but the owner of thecompany or the company itself a Flock safety
company, really there's no limitation. There's no law that tells them they have
to leap the data, and there'ssome continuency in the contracts that they have
(09:41):
that basically they can do with thedata whatever they will. What we're looking
at is some concern in the area, and we have some citizens coming out
the Baytown and some of these othercities. They're saying, whoa wait a
minute. State Representative Brian Harrison inthe last session tried to introduce legislation to
to restrict the use of these, but he didn't even get a hearing on
(10:03):
that legislation. He did tell methat he would be crafting legislation again next
session and trying to do something aboutthis in the state. There is a
lawsuit incidentally, file in federal courtin Illinois, in your home state,
and this could end up before theSupreme Court as a problem of illegal search
(10:24):
and feature without a warrant. Yeah, it's interesting too that if they put
this information in a database, andwe know full well the government computer systems
are not exactly secure and safe andfull proof from access to hackers or from
hackers, I got to wonder ifsome bad actors could get a hold of
(10:45):
that information and use it to tracksomeone down exploit them. I feel like
there could be you know, unintendedconsequences year of course. And you know,
one a member of my families init analysts to the cybersecurity analysts and
he said, you know, thereis really no such thing as a perfectly
secure system, so yeah, itcould be hat. I think the other
(11:07):
concern from people I've talked to isso your government actually misusing the information,
right, I mean, like that'snever happened before, right, or your
homeowners association that I don't know ifyou've met the members of your homeowners Board.
I'm not sure i'd want them tohave all of my data or access
to that data. All right, all right, what about this? What
(11:28):
it sounds expensive? Do we haveany idea how much money is being spent
on this stuff? Yeah, Idid get some numbers from one of the
departments and the cameras. I don'tknow what the actual cost is to install
the cameras. I know that LeagueCity has approved like a two hundred thousand
(11:48):
dollars grant to help the local homeowners'associations, and they told me that that
paid for installation in two years ofservice for up to four cameras per home
owners association, and I think therewere four total that they were putting them
in. But the cameras operated acost of twenty six hundred dollars per year,
(12:09):
so there's an ongoing expense, andof course, you know, taxpayers
are covering that under the guise ofsolving crime. And to be fair,
I mean, there have been somecrimes that were solved through use of these
cameras, but how far it goesinto actually preventing crime is a little questionable,
and does it meet you know, scrutiny under constitutional protection rights privacy and
(12:35):
against illegal search and seizure. Asmuch as I want to be tough on
crime, I don't want to livein a minority report draconian world and just
just a dystopian nightmare of the future. And boy, every day when the
government gets a hold of new technology, I feel like it never benefits me.
Holly, hmm. I you know, I have to be a little
(12:56):
suspicious. And you know, youwonder if there's someone who's interested in making
life a little harder for a personin the opposite political party, right,
would this data be available for themto use in that way? I think
there's a lot of questions that needto be answered. All right, let's
go over to Pasadena, Texas.Sometimes referred to by the locals as Stinkadeena.
(13:18):
I don't call it that they do. I don't know why. I
think Pasadena is a nice place, but apparently some controversy is reared. It's
ugly had a judge has accused thecity of Pasadena of bad public policy.
I feel like almost all public policiesbad. But what happened what happened this
time? Holly? Well, youknow, we talked about this a little
bit before. They're the business owners, and whether you call it Stinkadina,
(13:43):
I think it's a pretty nice place. There's people there love to live there
and operate their businesses there, butthey're in a kind of a hard time
from the city. You had theone auto mechanic shop owner of Bob a
new location. The location had fiveparking spaces for his little shop, and
he told him that he couldn't openhis shop unless he added a bunch more.
(14:03):
He had to have a total oftwenty eight parking spaces that would not
even fit on his lot. Hedid file suit. The city agreed to
a settlement with him, saying, okay, you only have to have seven
parking spaces. But then when hesubmitted his plans to put in the seven
parking spaces, they said, well, you've got to have all these other
things. So he had to filea new lawsuit. But what happened is
(14:26):
he filed a new lawsuit last fall, and there were several hearings on the
matter, and the city's attorneys saidthat today, well, you can't suit.
We have immunity even though we reachedthe settlement agreement. And they went
for a judge and the judge wasupset with them for claiming immunity, and
as it turns out, the citycouncil members don't seem to have even been
(14:52):
aware that there was a lawsuit pinningagainst the city. I talked to two
different city council members and told methat the city council had never been briefed
since the filing of the second lawsuit. The only way he knew about this,
this lawsuit and the legal action thecity was taking was by reading my
(15:13):
report at the Texan News. Yeah, a little surprising for them to realize,
you know that they look pretty badand they've got a judge accusing them
of really bad public policy, andyou're not exactly the Houston Chronicle or the
Dallas Morning News. I'm not.Yeah, actually all outlet, but covered
(15:39):
it unrelated to anything. I wantto Holly, take off your journalism had
for a minute. Let me talkto Holly Hanson, the voter and Texas
Citizen. The big news story todayis Hunter Biden being found guilty on all
counts up in Delaware. I knoweverybody wants to make a big deal out
of this. I talked about itin the opening of the show today.
I don't I don't see this havingany effect on the election. I don't
(16:00):
see him getting a strict point.I don't know. I think nothing happens
from here this The talking point isthat the president's son broke a gun law
and nothing happens, nobody will willbe affected by it. Your thoughts,
Yeah, I have to agree withyou, And I mean, when it
come to the election, you knowwhether or not your son, or your
parents, or your uncle or brotheror whatever is convicted. If something is
(16:22):
not necessarily reflective on the candidate,I will say I think there are some
more serious concerns about Hunter Biden's relationshipwith his father in regards to you know,
some of those overseas deals right China, and I think that's a bigger
deal. But it doesn't seem likethat's getting a lot of traction, nor
(16:45):
is there a legal prosecution that's that'sactually happening under those harder to prove something
illegal happened there. It all involvedforeign bank accounts and money is fungible,
as they say that money was transferredfrom bank account to bank account to bank
account, and that's at some pointit's hard to prove anything took place there.
But Holly Hansendetexant News follow her onElon Musk's social media platform, whatever
(17:07):
you choose to call it, You'vegot Kenny Webster's Pursuit of Happiness on KTRC
nine p. Fifty Oh, we'reback all right. Coming up in a
little bit, State Representative Steve Toathgoing to be stopping by the show.
I don't know if you guys haveheard, but the Rhinos and the Texas
(17:30):
Republican Party are trying to kick theactual conservatives out of the party. They
tried yesterday actually didn't work, soinstead the anti Carl Rove wing of the
party got censured. Why is CarlRove suddenly so involved in the Texas State
Republican Party drama. We'll answer thatquestion coming up in the next segment with
State Representative Steve Toath. Right now, I want to listen to your voicemails.
(17:52):
But before I do a little headnod here too, one of our
latest sponsors. Show is brought toyou by the cyber Truck. Elon Musk's
most brilliant move isn't brain implants orcolonizing mars. It's getting people to pay
eighty grand for a rest stop urineon wheels. Yeah, it's time once
(18:18):
again for voicemail messages from you.The following voicemail messages were sent from listeners
just like you, using the IheardRadio app. If you want to send
us a voicemail, just download theiHeartRadio smartphone app and push the talkback button.
You can send us a thirty secondaudio recording that we will play on
the show at a future date.Yeah. Probably because it would be impossible
(18:38):
to play your audio messages on aprevious date. So what are you waiting
for? Download the app and leaveus a message today. All right,
so we're gonna play some of yourvoicemails right now. We just asked a
couple of things. Try to makeit quiet in the background. Roll up
the window in your car, turnoff your radio, and don't swear.
If you say a swear word,I can't play it on the radio.
As always, I don't listen tothese before I play him, So please
(19:00):
follow the rules. Sometimes people don'tknow that they're being recorded, Like this
guy is just breathing. Okay, play another one. Okay that all you
don't talk about today is vaginas andpenises. Yeah he had a damn talk
show. Uh huh, Yeah,No, we did talk about that today.
(19:21):
There was. I forget why wetalked about that today. Oh yeah,
there was a parent got very upsetand was reading from a book at
a public school that contained the followingtext. The second example was a sign
which read and I quote I lovevagina Nom nom nom na. I'm sorry,
(19:41):
I'm not. That happened at aschool board meeting. It wasn't me,
everybody, Hey, it's her fromHouston. Kenny, grow up.
If you came to this radio showto hear to hear a mature, sophisticated
talk show host, sir, youcame to the wrong place. Play another
voice, smell please go ahead.Shoot, don't know if he went through
(20:03):
all messed up? Radio Gods. That's another new movie that's gonna make me
and I think he thought he wasrecording and he wasn't. Let's try playing
it. You think of this guyleft two messages radio god, y'all done
messed up. Now that's a newmovie. What is they go remake Gilligan's
Island? Oh, Gilligan is gonnabe played by Kevin Hart and the Skipper's
gonna be played by the Rock AndI bet they'll be gay, of course,
(20:30):
because you know how Hollywood is goahead play another voicemail, So I'm
wrong with this one. Like Isaid, I really don't listen to these
before I play him. That's right. I'm very honest about that. Hey,
Kenny, Jeff and noble here.Hey Jeff, you're absolutely right.
All of us warriors who fought inbattle overseas do not want anyone to die,
(20:51):
any soldier from the enemy, fromour allies, or from ourselves.
And also listening to you talk aboutthe demon's cats and then being a Kabooki
theater, I think you got thefirst description, right, Bro. I
can't explain that joke, but ifyou listen to the podcast from a couple
of days ago, it'll make senseto you. Kenny, Kenny, Kenny,
that's me. You know, Iwas really disappointed and the kids these
(21:15):
days. Man Navy didn't even showup to show moral support for her dad
during all of these trials and everything. You know, you know what I'm
saying, Yeah, all right,Okay, shut up. Can I explain
that one? Okay, So apparentlythe illegitimate daughter of Hunter Biden, the
Stripper Baby, didn't show up atthe trial for Hunter Biden for the gun
(21:37):
trial. Now, we were toldthat London Roberts was going to make an
appearance at some point, but Iguess she never did. Instead, she
ended up doing an interview with PierceMorgan, so the early reports about that
were wrong. But even still,London Roberts was a stripper named Dallas from
RKTSAW and Hunter Biden got her pregnantand her baby's name is Navy, which
is named after the part of themilitary that Hunter Biden got got kicked out
(22:00):
of for snorting cocaine. And noneof this will affect your life. It's
really just dirty gossip from the worldto politics. But hey, at least
it's entertaining. Guys. The clapis gonorrhea. Oh, thank you for
clearing that up. The other dayI said I thought the clap was chlamydia.
It turns out it's gonner hiea. Thanks for clearing that up. See
you learn things. Hey, Anny, I just wanted to send a correction
(22:23):
about June being Pride month. It'sactually Dinosaur month. Oh thank you.
And it's PTSD Awareness month and that'sa big one for me. Guys.
Go to Wheelchairs for Warriors dot orgtoday if you want to support military veterans
with disabilities. Make a donation wheelchairsfor warriors dot Org. Kenny Kenny,
Kenny, Kenny, Kenny, Kenny, Kenny, Kenny, Kenny Canny,
(22:44):
Kenny, Kenny Kenny. Sometimes peoplejust leave fun voicemails so they can hear
their voice on the here. Wellit worked, sir. You're on the
show today. All right, rollanother one. Don't forget how the liberals
celebrated Ron Desantas's wife having cancer. They did, Thank you guys, they
did it. And they celebrated MalaniaTrump having FBI agents rifle through her underwear
drawer because that's the way the leftis. Hey, Kenny, going back
(23:07):
to the Morning show about the Aussiething, I was there. He did
not bite the head of the batoff. What it was was, he
grabbed the bat, he opened hismouth like he was going to bite the
bat, and the bat bit histongue and he let it go and it
flew off. The only blood wascoming from his tongue. H where the
(23:30):
bat bit him got? It makessense? Okay? I want to explain
that one the star of a TVshow called gossip Girl is Taylor Momson.
Taylor Momson is in a heavy metalband called The Pretty Reckless. They're on
tour with ac DC, and sherecently got bit by a bat while performing
on stage. She needs raby shotsfor two weeks. That happened about a
(23:53):
week ago, a little over aweek ago. So yeah, I guess
she's almost done, but she stillhas several more days of raby shots.
That's gotta suck. Yeah. Iwouldn't wish that on anybody. Hope she's
okay. Wow, guys, Ican't believe people believe that Snoop Dogs would
leave a blunt half smoked. Yeahright, there's somebody's auctioning off a half
(24:15):
smoked blunt by Snoop Dogg and apparentlyit's pretty expensive too. So Kenny,
this is Herb from Houston. Hey, Herb, I like to know if
you brag about your your job positionto your your pocs. Oh yes,
when you date them. No,I don't, okay, So what I
(24:37):
do is, let me explain thatI've told that people this on the Morning
show before. Now that I'm single, I'm dating again and I'm trying to
get out there and find people thatare different from the people or person I
was with in the past. Andone of the things having grown up in
a mostly white suburban part of theMidwest. I you know, I encountered
a very specific type of woman. So now that I'm single again, I've
decided to date pocs. And alot of people have wondered what that means.
(25:00):
Is what is the like you're justdating black women or something like,
well, not necessarily but Native American, Lebanese, you know, Asian,
that sort of thing. But No, to answer your question, sir,
I certainly don't tell them what Ido for a living. These are women
in their twenties. Do you thinkthey want to go out with an AM
radio star. No. Instead,I tell them I'm in advertising. Hey,
(25:21):
all the bumper ads and little newsythings between your breaks. Yeah,
yeah, that for your long breaks. Sounds very choppy. Okay, this
was between five and six AM fromMichael a week ago. Someone just wanted
(25:41):
to let us know we haven't broadcastproblems a week ago. All right,
I'll travel back in time and fixit. Hey, now that we've gotten
that portion of the show over withsomething really important coming up here, Steve
Touth. Conservative members of the RepublicanParty are being attacked by the Rhino wing
of the Texas Republican Party. Thereis a Texas Republican Party Civil War will
be right back to tell you thestory with state Repped Steve Toath. Stick
(26:03):
around Kenny Webster, the best lookingdude on radio yep, and if you've
seen the competition, that's not sayinga whole hell of a lot. They're
not that good looking. I cannot, for the life of me understand why
Texas Republicans keep shooting themselves in thefoot. Maybe I'm not explaining this correctly.
A group of people who call themselvesRepublicans are trying to make it seem
(26:27):
like the real Republicans in our statearen't Republicans. Maybe you guys have heard
group of Republican lawmakers in the TexasState House say they are being expelled from
the Texas House Republican Caucus for endorsingchallengers to incumbents who voted with Democrats to
defeat things like school vouchers, peoplethat align to themselves with drunk Dad,
(26:48):
people that tried to impeach Ken Paxton. One of those people is State Representative
Steve Toath. He is here onthe line right now, Steve, what's
the latest on this? If therewas a vote yesterday, they want to
remove you guys from the Republican Caucus. Well, yeah, so the rank
and file wanted to remove us,but Tom Oliverson, who chairs the caucus,
(27:11):
stopped them and it just turned intoa silly handslap with the censure.
Or else we would have been, yeah, we woul't removed from the caucus.
So you got that. You gotcensured for being too conservative. I
know it sounds stupid, right,it doesn't make any sense. Okay,
(27:33):
but here's the even more insane partof this is that is that is that
Date Feeling Chairman the Texas House,is guilty the exact same thing. Curt
Revolt did a story today there thereyou research. They found the Daid Feeling
(27:56):
gave the Associated Republicans of Texas threehundred thousand dollars, and the Associated Republicans
of Texas took that money and usedit against me. They helped my opponent.
And so I'm not supposed to campaignagainst against any sitting House members.
Well he's not supposed to either, because he tried to take me out.
But you know, is he goingto get centured? Is he going to
(28:18):
get kicked out of the Republican Allright? Carl Rove and a group called
the Associated Republicans of Texas. We'rebasically behind the push to get rid of
Ken Paxton. Is that correct?Like they're the people correct. People always
say it was the George Bush Republicans, but Karl Rove was there the whole
time. Yeah, that's the AssociatedRepublicans of Texas. They're the ones that
tried to take out Ken pax Andthey're the ones that you know it was.
(28:44):
There's a great documentary on Netflix calledAtticus Versus the Architect, and it
was Carl Rove and working with EricHolder, Democrat Eric Holder to remove a
very conservative, pro life governor Labama. And they did. They ran the
exact same play against Ken Paxson. The exact same play was identical, right
(29:08):
to him out. Doesn't Carl Rovelive in Nevada or Salt Lake City or
like? Why is he in Texasmessing with our party? I don't know
why? And you know you andMichael said it, why why should we
listen to this cloud? Why dowe listen to him? Why is it?
Why is it that Sean Hannigy hashim on his show all the time?
(29:29):
It just makes my spin crawl. Is he's not a conservative, He's
not a Republican. All he doesis seek to enrich himself through the donor
class and robbing activity for crooked cronycompanies. Yeah. I don't understand it
either. So I guess it's safeto say that Carl Rove is a big
supporter of Dane Fahalin. Course.Yeah. Yeah, And the guy spent
(29:56):
seventeen million dollars to stay in office. I think David Covey raised about three
million dollars, which that's a massiveamount of money. Three million bucks.
It's huge, right, Feelan spentseventeen million dollars. The guy spent seventeen
million dollars to campaign in a staterep position in Earned Texas. That makes
my head explode, Steve, thatdoesn't make any Could you imagine how much
(30:18):
get this, how much good couldhave been done with that money? Oh?
I know, think of all theDemocrats we could have beat r But
get this, Dad Feeling, hisfamily is in they're in real estate,
right and they own real estate inOrange, Texas. Yeah, as Shirley
Q would say, but they justKenny love this. They just kicked the
(30:40):
Republican Party of Orange County out oftheir party headquarters. Dade Feeling's Dave Felon's
family owns that real estate and theyjust kicked the Republican Party of Orange County
out of their building. Yeah,I heard about this, And apparently Dade
Phalen's family, he also rents outreal estate to a state agency for far
(31:04):
more than what they would charge anormal person. There was a report a
while back about the Texas Department ofHealth and Human Services paying millions in rent
to a company that's speaker of theTexas House did fail and his manager and
director. I mean, it almostsounds illegal. It should be illegal.
It's purely unethical. Yeah, howdoes it get away with it? It
(31:27):
just fails. It fails. Thesmell texts. These guys do it without
without batting an eye. They don'tblush all that. They're proud of it.
They you know, they're they're they'rethey're people there that have learned how
to monetize the system and they're proudof it. They're really excited about it
that they can do this. Allright, So going into this next session,
(31:48):
I've got to assume, uh,Dade Falen probably not going to continue
to be the House speaker or willhe? Oh? I think he will?
Kenny, Yeah, I mean,it's going to be a heavy lift
to get rid of them, becauseyou only need you only need. You
know, he's got sixty four Democrats, right and then, which means he
only needs twelve Republicans to get toseventy six. He'll do it. It's
(32:13):
unbelievable, all right. So whatcan we do about? What can average
people do? Nothing? Wait twoyears for another election. You know,
I think here's what we can do. Number One, we're committed, the
four of us plus the twenty somenew people coming in. Plus you're going
to see you're going to see acoming together of the Conservatives in the Texas
(32:37):
House. You'll see people like myself, and you'll see Briscocaine and different people
saddling up and just saying enough,we're done with this. And we're going
to go to war this session. And we're going to go to war the
session. And we need your help, We need your support this session.
We need for you to follow uson social media because when you do that,
(33:00):
we can overcome. We can overcomethe Carl Roves just by our grassroots
effort of communicating with people about what'sreally truly going on. And as a
result of it, Yeah, nextyear, we'll take out twenty more of
them, and then we'll have atrue majority in the Texas Republican Caucus.
(33:20):
We'll do some serious damage. Weget we'll start doing, We'll start moving
legislation, we'll start keeping up withthe Senate, I mean, the Senate
getting stuff done. I'm Dan Patrick. They're doing some incredible things, right,
you know, but it's the House. The House is the redheaded stepchild,
and they're terrible. All right. So one of the people that signed
this, the censure was signed bythe Executive Committee, which consists of state
(33:44):
Reps. Tom Oliverson, Lacey Hall, Shelby Slawson, JC Jetton, and
Jared Patterson Lacey Hall. I mean, I'm kind of and and like you
just pointed out, uh, Briscoapparently not part of this group of people.
No, he's not part of thatgroup, all right, played in
this Well, Look, some ofour listeners were mad at him for supporting
(34:07):
the Paxton impeachment, but it seemslike now he's distancing himself from that group
of people. Yes, any thoughts, any thoughts on that? What happened?
I mean, look, I thinkhe gets what feeling did. Feeling
asked all these people to walk theplank feeling told these guys, look,
(34:28):
we've got we've we've got evidence outthe wazoo. We've got prime fish evidence,
you're gonna see it. Blah blahblah. We've got people coming forward,
we've got bank docins, we've gotall sorts of stuff, we've got
FBI records, and these guys believethem. And then you know, the
(34:49):
trial moved over to the Senate andlo and behold, nothing, absolutely nothing.
There was no evidence, well theyhad no evidence over in the house.
You know. It was just itwas just we're supposed to believe this
crap. And I'm like, youknow, gosh, if if any of
this is true, Ken deserves togo. Yeah, he should be in
peace if this is true. Noneof it was true, and I voted
(35:13):
against it. I voted against allof it because it was all done on
hearsay, and this hearsay didn't lineup with who I know this man to
be. I'm friends with he andhis wife. None of this lines up
with who I know Ken Paxton tobe. It was all just a big
fat lie. I don't think alot of people in Houston realize that Lacy
Hall, one of our state repsfrom here in the area. He's part
(35:36):
of this group. But I don'tthink people realize it because she's not real
vocal. Is she has she beena critic or an obstacle for school choice
as well. No, she's beenvery supportive choice. So how did she
get in with this group of people? I can't answer that. Well,
that's okay. I don't expect fromit to mean I really don't. I
mean we don't. I don't likehang out with her. I couldn't tell
(35:59):
you fair Hey, it's a fairpoint, Steve. Steve, you have
always been transparent with us, Youhave always been honest. State Representative Steve
Toth on the line, Uh,it's ridiculous that you guys got censured.
I find this group of people, this group of lawmakers here to be the
most conservative, the most reliable, the most consistent in the party. And
you're the very group of people thatare getting vilified now by the establishment.
(36:20):
Steve. If people want to supportyou, what can they do honestly right
now? And I'm embarrassed to askthis, but we need we need help.
They've they've cleaned us out financially,Brian Tony, Nate, myself,
we need help. We need helpwith our campings, and we just need
for you to support us through socialmedia right now, and I'm to listen
(36:45):
to what's going on. We're goingto continue to put the truth out.
We don't care that they censor us. We don't care if they kick us
out of the caucus. We don't. You know, they've threatened to kick
us out of the caucus for life, and we don't care. We're not
going to give up our voice. We're we're not going to stop from speaking
truthfully about what House leadership is doingbecause they're working with Democrats, and you
(37:09):
guys have just got to hang inthere not gro discouraged. It's easy to
get discouraged. It may take anotherelection cycle to take out another twenty of
these guys, and if that's whatit takes, that's what it takes.
But this is future of Texas. This is our children, this is the
next generation. And if we don'tcontinue to endure and fight, then we'll
(37:29):
lose our fate. That's just allthere is to it. Yeah, Hey,
look, I think that it's nota lot to ask if Texas conservatives
care about having lawmakers in the statewho represent their ideals, go to Steve
Tooath for Texas dot Com. Rememberwith this guy is Steve is a Tea
Party Republican. He's a Maga Republican. He was endorsed by Ted Cruz,
Ken Paxton, Sid Miller, RileyGaines, Don Haffines and of course hopefully
