Speaker 1 (00:00):
The giganic government sucks suit of happiness. Radio is DeLux.
Liberty and freedom will make you smile of a suit
of happing us on your radio, tol justice, cheeseburgers, a
liberty rise at.
Speaker 2 (00:22):
All.
Speaker 3 (00:22):
Right. So, apparently Jeff Bezos, the CEO of Amazon. You've
heard of him. Jeff Bezos has a new eighty million
dollar airplane perfect for flying to climate change summits. They
just spotted this thing at the airport in Los Angeles.
It stands apart on the tarmac because it's the only
plane covered in bubble wrap. So that's cool. Hi, Kenny
(00:43):
Webster here, Thanks for joining us this afternoon on the show.
Comedian Tim Mathis is stopping by, and Brandon Darby's gonna
be here. He's one of the editors at Breitbart dot com.
My buddy Michael quinn Sullivan will be here this afternoon
from texascorecard dot com. So a delightful array of conservatives
with a vast amount of sarcasm, I would imagine. I
want to start today's show with this. There's a few
(01:05):
lies about immigration you've been hearing a lot lately, and
these are summed up quite well today in a story
I just read at town hall dot com. I thought
they put it quite nicely. They wrap up all the
lies into a little box for you, and you can
unwrap it, and then inside there's a you know, a
greeting card. It's probably written in Spanish, I don't know it.
(01:25):
Basically all boils down to this. Liberals are now telling
you that Kamala has always supported the wall. It's a lie.
They're telling you that Democrats have already secured the border.
But don't worry because if you reelect Kamala Harris, they're
going to make the border the securist it's ever been.
And oh, by the way, even though she's the incumbent,
(01:47):
they're still trying to pretend like she is the underdog,
like she's not currently in power. So all that being said,
the media has always engaged in mass lying. It's what
they do. They love to tell lies. Telling the truth,
it's not really part of what their whole modus operandi
is when it comes to reporting things too. It's more
about propaganda. It's always been about the narrative. And the
(02:07):
line number one lately is the toughness of this bipartisan bill.
For three and a half years, they did nothing about immigration,
nothing about the border. Our border was just a freeway
for human trafficking, drug smuggling, child sex slaves, anything you
wanted to do, Muslim prayer rugs lining up along the
McAllen border, all over left and right. And then suddenly
(02:29):
they came along and they said, you know, Republicans wouldn't
pass this bipartisan border bill. It's really their faulters and
immigration crisis, I'm sorry, bipartisan border bill. In order for
it to be bipartisan, at least one Republican would have
had to support it. Who is that Republican? Does anybody
know his name? Could I could you write it down
(02:49):
on a card and pass it to me. No, there's
not a single Republican that supported the the by partisan
border bill. The bipart isan' border bill, as they put it,
wasn't supported by publican, So it's not bipartisan, and it
certainly didn't do anything to secure the border because the
way that they wrote the bill, it's still allowed for
thousands of illegal immigrants to cross over the border every day.
(03:10):
But they would put a cap on it, all right,
Only four or five or thousand, or million, or a
few dozen here and there will be allowed in and
then we'll tell them stop come back tomorrow. We're all
out of room for illegals today. And of course it
didn't involve any actual infrastructure. It really just involved more
funding for the government, funding to do what nothing. Probably
secure the border of Ukraine, i assume, but not actually
(03:33):
secure our border, certainly not build a wall, and definitely
not mass deportation. Okay, so that's the first big why.
What's the next big why? The next big lie is
even funnier. It's the lie that they claimed the Biden
Harris administration or should we call it the Harris Biden
administration is deporting more illegal immigrants than Trump.
Speaker 2 (03:52):
Ha ha ha.
Speaker 3 (03:55):
Excuse me, whoo oh that is hilarious. No, but for
the record, a lot of people are reporting this lie.
Speaker 2 (04:03):
Here.
Speaker 3 (04:04):
Let me let's walk through, if we will, the places
where they're telling this lie. Reuters Ben Kellerman reports Biden
is now deporting more people than Trump. Okay, that's an
actual headline Reuters Reuters is that's weird. I thought they
were just the facts. No, they'll lie to you. Not
to be outdone. Here comes politico'st Jack Herrera says quote,
(04:25):
even as Trump slams the president for open borders. The
Harris Biden administration, I fixed it for him. The Harris
Biden administration has kicked out far more immigrants than Trump
ever managed to. Wow, believe it or not, there's more.
Here's Nick Muerhoff at the Washington Post. Quote, Biden officials
deported or returned roughly seven hundred and forty thousand people,
(04:48):
exceeding Trump's totals, which averaged roughly a half a million annually. No,
I don't think so, CBS Austin, here's Andrew Freeman. This
is guys, this is a news outlet in Texas. Surely
they got this right. Sure don't call me Shirley, And
no they didn't. Biden on track to exceed Trump Obama
and deportations and first term data shows. Remember the Hill,
(05:11):
who could forget the Hill? The Hill reports. This is
Maria Cardona at the Hill. Quote, DHS under Biden is
deporting three point five times as many people per month
as DHS under Trump. And then the Cato Institute if
that's even a news outlet, which I don't think it is.
But we know, just a little icing on the cake here.
David Bierre says, in absolute terms, the Biden DHS is
(05:33):
removing three point times as many people per month as Trump. Guys,
this is absurd, It's ridiculous. It's how did they get
this information? It doesn't make any sense. Well, it turns
out they got it from the White House themselves. Wow,
they're marching orders. Yeah. The White House proclamation said, quote,
total removals in returns in the twelve months following May twelfth,
twenty twenty three exceed removals in returns in every fiscal
(05:56):
year since twenty ten. Oh, well, then it must be true,
because why would the Biden excuse me, the Harris Biden
administration lie to us. Bye, guys, this is meaningless formation.
It means nothing. Removals and returns those are actually two
different things. Did you know that removals means deportations generally
a year's long process involving the capture and the arrest.
(06:17):
You go to immorate creation court, there are hearings, there
are lawyers involved, flights back to their home country, punishment
for the deportee. Ever caught trying to enter again, we
will shake our finger at you. Ought not, ought not.
That's not what this is. Return simply means turned away
at the border.
Speaker 2 (06:36):
That's all.
Speaker 3 (06:36):
It really means, they're not letting someone in. That's not deportation. Now,
combined returns and removals is like saying a judge issued
one hundred capital and no jail offenses, or no jail sentences.
One hundred capital and no jail sentences. It means nothing.
It's a lie. The same illegal alien can be returned
twenty times in a day means nothing. It's great. Again,
(07:01):
I quote this all the time. There's this great book
you can read about this called how to Lie with Statistics.
This used to be required reading for most economic courses,
high school or college level. Nowadays, I assume they probably
don't show it to you that much. But okay, deportations
under Trump. Let's look at some of the numbers. Here,
shall we? Deportations under Trump two thousand and seven, he
deported two hundred twenty six thousand. One hundred and nineteen
(07:24):
illegals were deported. Fast forward four years. Here's the first
year of Biden, fifty nine thousand illegals. I'm not a mathematician.
I'm sure we all agree math is racist, but I'm
pretty sure two hundred and twenty six thousand is a
bigger number than fifty nine thousand. Frankly, I'm impressed Biden
even did fifty nine thousand. All right, fast forward a year,
it's twenty eighteen. Trump's starting to up these numbers quite
(07:47):
a bit. Two hundred and fifty six thousand, eighty five
illegals deported in twenty eighteen. What did Biden have in
his second year? Seventy two thousand, again not a mathematician,
math very racist, seventy two certainly less than two hundred
and fifty six thousand. We move on. Year three of
Trump would have been twenty nineteen, two hundred and sixty
seven thousand and some audio illegals were deported. Third year
(08:11):
of Biden over there would be one hundred and forty
two thousand illegals deported. Now we don't have this year
yet because it's not over. It's still this year. But
in twenty twenty, Trump's numbers went down, and the reason
they went down, I don't know if you've heard about
Does anybody remember what happened in twenty twenty. I know
we have a short fifteen minute attention span. There was
this little thing called the pandemic. It was pretty bad,
(08:33):
and as it turns out, more illegals just didn't really
cross over that here was a relatively lower number. But
the main takeaway is that people who write about immigration
for a living, whether you're talking about Reuters or Politico
or the Washington Post or CBS or The Hill, they
don't know what they're talking about, or they do know
what they're talking about, but they just assume you don't know.
(08:53):
And I got to think in at least half of
the cases of these journalists, that's probably the case.
Speaker 4 (08:58):
Screw you.
Speaker 5 (08:59):
I'm going to Texas and thank our lucky stars, sorry,
our lucky lone star we did. This is Kiddy Webster's
pursuit of happiness.
Speaker 3 (09:12):
Southwest Southwest Airlines brought back there buy one, get one
free companion pass, but just for a limited time only.
It's a great deal for people who don't want to
be alone while they spend hours in the airport waiting
for their canceled flights to be rescheduled. Yeah, isn't that great?
And Swiss Airlines had to rebalance their planes because the
first class seats are too heavy. Meanwhile, Spirit Airlines had
(09:34):
to rebalance their planes because its passengers are too heavy.
Speaking of traveling internationally.
Speaker 5 (09:40):
Sounds like from Texas, Justice to Me Loco.
Speaker 3 (09:43):
And now Live from the Border. It's Bright Bart's Brandon
Darby with the Cartel Chronicles only on KPRC radio. If
you just turn it on your radio. If you just
turn it on your radio. This is kind of the
unintentional immigration episode of the show. I'm glad people are
talking about it immigration again, and it's mostly because of
this Venezuelan streaking trend de Ragua, which Brandon I got it.
(10:07):
I'll give you credit, dude. You warned people about this
months ago on my show, on Jesse Kelly's show. Is
this Venezuelan streaking took over an apartment complex and Aurora
supposedly they're going to war with the gd Folk, which
is a streaking in Chicago and the Texas Hells Angels.
Is there anything people are getting wrong about this story?
Is there any details you think people probably need to
(10:29):
pay more attention to?
Speaker 2 (10:32):
Well, I think, first off, I think, to put it nicely,
people need to be careful when it comes to border
in immigration stories and the words that we use. You know,
we've seen it over and over again where everyone on
the right started to report about an ISIS terror training
(10:54):
camp outside of El Paso in Mexico. It wasn't true,
but every one went with it except for Breipbart. You know,
Breipbart didn't didn't go there. Generally, if we can't verify
that it's true, we're not going to report it, you know,
just even if it's the story that's that's big in hype. So,
(11:16):
as I said, I think it was five or six
months ago, our people from a Venezuelan street gang coming
into the US along with other people from Venezuela. Absolutely
they are. Is that going to pose a problem for
US communities? Absolutely? It is. Is it starting to show
(11:37):
that problem those problems? Yeah, So these gangs come, they
have different networks, they're from a much rougher place than
most US gang members are from, and they're starting to
take over tariff. Like when we say they're taking over
an apartment complex, does that mean you know, like if
picture La with bloods and crips. If a bunch of
(11:59):
people wearing bandanas start moving into an apartment complex and
kick out the people wearing blue bandanas, doesn't mean that
they took it over. Like it's their territory and they
have you know, they're starting to set up their own
independent nation or something. No, it means that the criminal
black market in a particular area is being taken over
(12:21):
by a particular gang. Right. It doesn't mean that they're
taking literal US soil as their own territory. But that's
how a lot of people are taking it, and that's
how a lot of people are reporting it. So that's
not accurate. But those gang members coming into the US, Yes,
(12:41):
is that bad?
Speaker 3 (12:42):
Yes?
Speaker 2 (12:43):
Is that? Does it change much with Mexican cartels? Are
they going to know?
Speaker 3 (12:49):
Not at all?
Speaker 2 (12:50):
Like these are street gangs, and these street gangs generally
do the bidding of Mexican cartels, not taking over from
those Mexicans cartels, you know, So I think that, yes,
it's concerning, yet that's the big deal. Yes, it should
be reported, But I think that, you know, even if
you're using accurate terminology and ninety percent of your readers
(13:13):
are taking it to mean something. You know, it's kind
of like when we talk about an invasion on our border.
Is there an invasion you know, by Webster's definition of invasion, Yes,
there's massive numbers of people coming here illicitly who are
not wanted, you know, by the majority of Americans. But
(13:37):
the word invasion could also mean guys in camos with
AK forty sevens, you know, in grenades, taking territory and
digging trenches. Right. So a lot of Americans when they
hear that terminology, that's what they're that's where their brain goes.
And so we just have to be careful and make
sure we're describing what's going on, at least in my
(13:59):
line of work.
Speaker 3 (13:59):
I think that's perfectly put in the last segment. We
were talking about this report today, all these liberal news
outlets and getting their talking points from the White House,
no surprise, confusing the term removals with returns, and then
they're all reporting it as though the Biden administration deported
more illegals or undocumented or I guess they'd be illegals
if they got quote unquote deported, then the Trump administration did.
(14:23):
But actually there's a big difference between removals and returns,
and most people don't understand that, do.
Speaker 2 (14:28):
They they're sinbacks, right, So this is all just terminology.
So make no mistake. Here are the hard, cold facts,
and these are minimum numbers that our government acknowledges, right
that the Biden Harris administration acknowledgiest There have been over
ten million people who have been allowed into the United States.
(14:53):
There is another two million who have snuck in and
got away. We do not know who they are.
Speaker 6 (15:00):
Right.
Speaker 2 (15:01):
That is twelve million people that is documented to have
come during the Biden Harris administration. Make no mistake, right.
So what happened is during the Obama administration they began
to get crafty with their terminology. So during Bush people
(15:22):
who were deported were you know, went through a formal
deportation proceedings, taken into custody send back. During the Obama administration,
they decided to start counting everybody who started coming realized
they were going to get caught and ran back, or
who voluntarily just said okay, I'll go back if you
let me go. They began to count those as deportations.
(15:44):
So it looked like Obama was doing this great job
deporting people who shouldn't be here, and that wasn't the case.
That is the same. We're just seeing clever terminology from
the Biden Harris administration. And that's what we're seeing. It's
clever terminology. It's slight of hand, it's smoking mirrors, it's trickery.
And yes, if twelve million people come into our country,
(16:13):
primarily Texas, during your four years as president. Yes, you're
going to have an uptick in numbers of people who
turn around and go back home because they're about to
get caught. Absolutely, that is not something that I would
brag about if I were the president of the United States.
Speaker 1 (16:33):
Yeah.
Speaker 3 (16:34):
I mean when you put it that way, it sounds awful, right,
But they're trying to make it sound like it was
an accomplishment. And in the meantime, you guys have a
story today. I see you're the only ones reporting on
this case out of Fairfax County, Virginia. This is just
warning to our radio listeners. This is a really disturbing
news story. Just fair warning if you're easily offended. And
al Salvadorian migrant reportedly deported from the US during the
(16:56):
Trump administration is back in America during the in Harris
administration or the Harris Biden administration, perhaps I should say,
in Virginia has just been caught chaining two young boys
to a bed. They went into the home that one
of the kids was chained to the bed, took photos
with his sister, sent it to night called nine to
one one, handed the photos over to the authorities here.
(17:18):
The report kind of stops there. It doesn't explain that
anything worse was going on, so we could only speculate.
But you know, since we're on the topic, this idea
of sexual exploitation of underage kids as a consequence of
illegal immigration is pretty common, isn't it, Brandon.
Speaker 2 (17:35):
Yes, it is, and so so here here's how the
rundown on this. People you know, from CATO or people
from from liberal institutions will generally say, yeah, but you know,
ninety percent of the people who show up here are
not these kind of people. Ninety five percent are decent people,
(17:55):
or don't make these wild claims that we don't know
that we can only look at what number it's estimated that,
you know, the the roughly the same percentages of the
people showing up here are murderers as the domestic population, right,
the native Okay, whatever, The point of it is is
that that if just think about it, if five percent
(18:17):
are really bad people. You know, if I pull my
phone out real quick and I go, what is five
percent of twelve million, right? You know what I mean?
Like that is a large number of people who a
large number of people who would not of criminals who
would not be in our country if we properly enforced
(18:38):
our border. This isn't about the ninety and the issues
with the ninety to ninety five percent, who are good,
hard working people too. There's issues about how that impacts
our certain sectors of our economy, certain groups of demographics
in our economy, in our communities. How it affects our
public school systems. To have the children of twelve million
people or have you know many millions show up in
(19:02):
the middle of the school years, not speaking English into
a public school system. What that does to the resources
for the children of the taxpayer, Like you know, from
a bunch of people who claim that there is not
enough money in the public school system, yet they can
absorb these hundreds of thousands of children. Like there's all
kinds of other issues, but the core issue here is
(19:23):
you have people like from angel families who have lost
loved ones to people who were here illegally because of
that five percent allegedly that are bad, who are bad.
So when you start talking about bringing in five hundred
thousand to a million human beings who are bad right
by their own guestimations, that's a big deal. And those
(19:47):
are five hundred thousand to a million human beings who
are criminals who would not be here to commit crimes
against Americans if we just followed our laws and properly
enforced our borner security. So you know that that's what
we see here. The simple fact that even if even
if out of one hundred people who show up here
(20:09):
to work, if ninety five of them are wonderful human beings,
sure who are just trying to better their lives, there's
five human beings. You know, if they kill your child,
you're gonna be pretty upset about it because they're only
here and they only killed your child because your government
didn't do its job. That's where that comes from. That's
where the outrage comes from.
Speaker 3 (20:31):
Brandon Darby, Breitbart Texas follow him on X, which is
a thing we used to call something else.
Speaker 5 (20:36):
You were listening to Kenny Webster's Pursuit of Happiness, where
everyone is welcome, even scum sucking meggot swallowing socialist bastards
you used to refer to as mom.
Speaker 3 (20:53):
Oh welcome back. Okay. So there's this Venezuelan gang. And
as you guys know that the Spanish language is mostly
spoken the same way anywhere where you go in the
world where the Spanish language exists, but in Venezuela they
have a slightly different accent than say Puerto Rico, for example.
So this Venezuelan gang's been popping up all over the country,
(21:13):
and I know it's important to pronounce words correctly as
a very responsible broadcaster, I don't want to disrespect people.
But we're also talking about a bunch of Venezuelan illegal
immigrant criminal thuglets. So trend day aroga arega, trenda arega.
That's as closure as you're getting for me. Guys, I
don't if this is disrespect, if all are your feelings hurt?
(21:35):
Did we upset the Venezuelan criminal gangs trenday? We could
call them TDA? I don't know. Michael Quinn Sullivan's here
at Texas scorecard dot Com. Michael, what would you call him? TDA?
Speaker 4 (21:46):
Uh, trendy irigula. I think was a restaurant heugment to
once in Houston. I think it's I think it's closed
down now, but it was. That's some really nice food,
is that right? I think that's tried that in the
same place. I'm literally surprised your gang now because I
thought the prices were very reasonable. Yes, it that's what happened.
Speaker 3 (22:06):
And weirdly enough, it was a sushi restaurant. That's the
strangest thing. It seemed like it was sushi.
Speaker 4 (22:10):
If I remember quickly, that's right, that's right, all right.
Speaker 3 (22:12):
So we're because of these Venezuelan migrants popping off all
over the country. Not just Venezuelan migrants, that's nothing new, Michael.
These guys are in a gang and now there's news
reports that they're going to war with the gd folk
in Chicago, and the Hell's Angels motorcycle club is traveling
up to Aurora to fight them. And it's one thing
when they're not getting along with the very polite white
(22:34):
people in the suburbs or the poor migrants that live
in there's the poor black people on the South side
of Chicago or being sent off to Chicago or where
Marfa's vineyard. But now they've upset gang members and you've
been to the border before, you know, for various reasons,
most mostly journalistic. What's your take on this whole thing?
Is this does this influence the election? Or is this
(22:56):
another fifteen minute news cycle that's going to come and go.
Speaker 4 (23:00):
You know it is probably a fifteen minute news cycle.
It's going to come and go, but it is probably
also going to affect the election, and it will horrify
and surprise the people who run the news cycle that
has actually impacted the news cycle. You know, you know,
the the lefties who run the crony establishment media. You know,
(23:22):
they all live in high rises and very nice parts
of New York. They have homes that Martha's Vineyard, you know.
They they have gated enclaves out in California, so they're
immune from all this. So that they will see this,
I'll think it's interesting, they'll talk about it, realize that
my short of the election move on. The problem with
(23:43):
this is once you take these kinds of Venezuelan and
South American gang activity away from the border, and you
take it away from you know, kind of the the
places you would expect, and now you move it into
gang on gang violence where you remember gang on gang violence,
but that translates into is lots of innocent people getting hurt,
(24:04):
lots of innocent people's property being shot up, set on fire,
all those kind of things. So you so that the
media is going to think this is a one and
done fifteen minutes. You know, we'll laugh about it, we'll
cry about it, what we want to do about it.
But for real Americans, as you know, you're suddenly dealing
with these problems, it just you know, it just adds
to uh, adds to the general belief that immigration, and
(24:28):
more importantly, illegal aliens are our is the number one
issue for American voters looking at the you know, at
the top of the ticket. Now, I know there are
other number one issues when you go further down the ballot. Uh.
But but for but for a lot of Americans, that
is the number one thing. It's the safety of their children,
the safety of their property, the safety of themselves. And
(24:48):
we have these you know, trendy irregular or you know,
whoever it is, coming in, you know, wanting to you know,
move in on other gangs. That's just again, it's only
going to create problems that are going to affect real
people in real ways.
Speaker 3 (25:03):
All Right, you guys have a story today on your
website about in al Salvadorian gang member, a member of
the MS thirteen gang caught in Houston. Fortunately caught right,
that's the good news about this. But the guy has
been charged with some pretty horrendous crimes, including aggravated homicide,
unlawful association with MS thirteen. That's a transnational criminal gang
(25:24):
with ties to the mafia in Mexico. And then here's
an interesting one, femicide. I didn't know what femicide was,
so I looked it up. The killing of a woman
or a girl because of her gender. There's also been
reports that these guys worship Satan, which isn't exactly true.
They're Catholics, so they worship like the Saint of Death
or something, and I don't I don't understand it, but
(25:46):
it's not traditional Catholicism. But even so, it's horrible, right,
this is terrible stuff. Have you had a chance to
look at this casey, I know there's a lot of
stories on your website.
Speaker 4 (25:55):
Yeah, so you know, you know, this guy tried into
the country illegally back in twenty twenty, when you know,
the bad Orange man who tweets mean things was president
and he was turned and he was you know, turned
around the same day and sent back out. He apparently
re entered the country. We don't know when, and we
don't know where. He was arrested in March, not on
(26:19):
you not because Ice was out looking for him, or
because the Federals you know, had you know, cartoon pictures
of him they were holding up, you know, looking at
you know, Salvador and you know gang gang types. Now
he was pulled over by a you know, Houston area
law enforcement for intoxicated driving and then they kind of
pieced together who this guy was. Fortunately, El Salvador decided
(26:45):
they wanted him back. They they want him, as you noted,
for some really nasty stuff in their country. And so,
you know, good for them. They're going to do something
with him. And it's probably not overly pleasant, which is fitting,
but it you know, this does go to, you know, Kenny,
the problem we have in other states, in not Texas
(27:06):
of state and local officials not cooperating with ICE, not
cooperating with border patrol. Uh where where you find these
guys getting arrested and re arrested and re arrested and
re arrested time after time at your time, who then
go to another jurisdiction and are finally, you know, finally
ship back to their back to their countries.
Speaker 2 (27:28):
Uh.
Speaker 4 (27:28):
You know, when these local governments think, thankfully, uh for
as bad as Lena Hildalgo is, I think for as
bad as we can all. I think agree, Harris County
and Houston are in so many respects and at least
though they are cooperating, uh with with federal agencies in
this in disregard uh so that you know, bad actors
(27:49):
like this who don't have necessarily a a a bad
guy profile with the you know, with the state officials
or even federal officials, does have a bad guy profile.
I'll back home. And that's why we're able to get
rid of them. So, you know, you know, you got
to give credit words due hats off to the Harris
County and Houston law enforcement guys who you know who
(28:11):
decided that it was better to bring the bring the
federalis in than to just let this guy wonder the streats,
which is what happens in New York and you know
California of the places.
Speaker 3 (28:22):
Okay, look, you and I both know local law enforcement's great,
but the leadership here in Houston in charge of local
law enforcement are the Democrat party establishment. Do you think
if it wasn't an election year that they would have
been so am.
Speaker 4 (28:35):
Oh yeah, yeah, absolutely, yeah.
Speaker 6 (28:37):
Yeah.
Speaker 4 (28:38):
Let's be real clear. This is not because the the
the Democrat leadership of Harris County is wonderful.
Speaker 3 (28:46):
But if we can get rid of.
Speaker 4 (28:48):
One MS thirteen gang banger, devil worshiping, you know, woman killing,
you know, sug, then I'm all for it. I don't
care what their reasons are, but but but I think
it is a remainder that even in even the election
like this, in other parts of the country, local officials
aren't doing that. Even so, Yeah, thank goodness for being
(29:09):
an electioneer.
Speaker 3 (29:10):
Yeah you well, said my man. Michael Quinn. Sullivan and
I we are nothing if not accurate. It's important to
pronounce words correctly. So this new Venezuelan streaking, I want
to make sure we're saying it right. Hang on, I
got the AI here today in Trenday Arragua. Okay, we're
pretty close on that. MS thirteen is so much easier
to say than Trenday Arragua. But I was just thinking, Michael,
(29:32):
and look, I am a I am a creative solutions guy.
I'm nothing if not a guy that likes to think
outside the box. We got the MS thirteen guys there
from l Salvador. We got the Trenday Arragua guys, they're
from Venezuela. What if what if these are two problems
that would squash each other out if we just locked
them all in a room together for an extended period
of time.
Speaker 4 (29:51):
Hey, I'm all in. I would be happy to see
some of my attacks go to providing that room, that
Wallden closure, whatever it may be. We absolutely these guys
killing each other off that b that'd be good for
all over.
Speaker 3 (30:04):
And since, of course, you know the liberals love him
so much, you know, maybe the Mayor's office in Chicago,
I don't know, I'm just wherever we could have them
do this gang warfare where the place that loves diversity
of the most obviously, Hey, before absolutely, before we run
out of time, here's a terrible news story today. We
just learned about this Navy vet in Houston. I don't
know if you've had a chance to look at this yet,
(30:25):
ninety year old Navy veteran killed in Houston carjacking. We
just busted the kid responsible for it, some twenty one
year old trash bag. Turns out the guy was.
Speaker 1 (30:34):
Free on bond, free on bond, free on bond, free
on bond, frieum bond, free on bond.
Speaker 3 (30:42):
Once again, he's free on bond. Well, I can't help.
But notice, Michael, a lot of these criminals that are
murdering people in our big cities around the country were
free on but they were out on bond for some
previously committed crime. Here's my radical idea. And tell me
what you think about this. What if when we catch violent,
dangerous criminals we keep them in jail. What do you
(31:03):
think would that work? You know, it's just crazy enough
to work. We might want to do a pilot project somewhere.
Speaker 4 (31:11):
We might want. You know, we probably need to create
a commission and an agency and staff with a lot
of bureaucrats to study the extant research from universities of
higher education where they can do some cross analysis, and
maybe in twenty or fifty years we can adopt your.
Speaker 3 (31:30):
Crazy adopt I hope in the meantime, if they do
do an experiment where they arrest criminals and keep them
in jail, I hope they do that experiment in my community.

Speaker 3 (32:16):
All right, guys, I got good news. I got bad news. Well,
actually it's just bad news. Queen's Brian May suffered a
minor stroke. They say it's minor. I guess that is
good news. You know that's nothing. In the seventies, he
survived a sheer heart attack. Brian May revealed the health consequences,
as I suppose you could say, not great news that
he had the stroke, but he said he'll continue to
(32:37):
do music and astrophysics. Thank god, that's good news. Ironically,
this all happened while he was playing another one bites
the dust.
Speaker 4 (32:46):
Is this a spoiled papperd narcissistic Hollywood bratt or what.
Speaker 3 (32:51):
I'm not proud of that. I'm not proud of it.
But I did want to talk about Brian May, but
not much more because there's not much else to say
about that. Do y'all watch the Game of Thrones spin off.
It's called House of Dragons. I actually think it's pretty good.
You know, I'm kind of a nerd, I'll admit. But
the guy that was on Doctor Who, one of the
former Doctor Who stars. He's also the star of HBO's
(33:13):
House a Dragon. His name's Matt Smith. Matt is taking
aim at Hollywood. He's criticizing their policing of stories. He
says that they put these trigger warnings on movies and
TV shows now it says it's dumbing down storytelling. This
doesn't seem like a big deal, but it kind of is.
He's a Hollywood actor from the leftist liberal elite, if
(33:33):
you will, and he's telling us that they're making entertainment
more woke and it's ruining entertainment. Here at this take on,
it's stand up comedian Tim athis live from Hollywood. Tim
trigger warnings, what say you lame right?
Speaker 6 (33:49):
Oh yeah, I mean if you tell me, oh, there's
going to be some disturbing stuff coming up, like you're
already getting your I'm prepared for that, and then it
just deflates any of the surprise or the reaction that
the filmmakers and the act are trying to make you feel.
(34:14):
I mean, I don't understand why we are doing this,
you know, it's it's basically giving people sort of a
spoiler right before the movie or the show starts, so
it's like you're really deflating what's about to happen. It
kind of destroys the whole concept of doing something edgy
(34:38):
or dark. So I agree one hundred percent with Matt
Smith on this. And yeah, he's definitely the star of
House the Dragon. He's the best part of it, which
he's the best part in most stuff he does. So yeah, hopefully,
hopefully big name stars like that can keep talking about
the stuff that Hollywood's doing right now that is really
(35:00):
hurting their product.
Speaker 3 (35:01):
You know, Richard Dreyfus did the same thing, legendary Hollywood actor.
He said that what the Academy Awards is doing with
critical race theory and DEI and their DEI quote as
they're ruining movies. It sucks. Now, another person you wouldn't
expect to get in on this is Jenna or Tega.
Jenna Ortega seems like she's I mean, you know, for
a young Hollywood actress, I think I like her more
(35:22):
than the chick that starred in Snow White. Jenna Ortego
was in the Wednesday Adam Show she's in the new
Beetlejuice movie. She's kind of like Tim Burton's new star actress.
Somebody asked her recently if she wanted to be in
an all female version of Edward Scissorhands, and she said, no,
that sucks. We should stop remaking movies with female gender,
(35:42):
like you know, all female Ghostbusters. She's right, that stuff
was garbage to him.
Speaker 6 (35:48):
Oh yeah, and this is the second time that she's
done something like this. So while they were shooting Wednesday,
I believe the writers were trying to get her into
relationship with like a lesbian relationship on things. She said, no,
that's not that's not a wind Bay Adams thing. So
they got the writers got really mad and for a while,
(36:13):
stuff like the industry mags and stuff like that. We're
kind of going at her a little bit because she
didn't want to spin the knee to what the writers
and the creators and stuff wanted to do. She wanted
to stay true to the character and portray the character
as authentically as possible. And I think this is just
another example of her having a good barometer of you know,
(36:38):
what the audience wants and expects. You don't want to
see rehashed ideas that's just gender swapped. We're very tired
of that. You want to see, like she said, you
want to see female characters given their own franchises, built
up in a way that makes them, you know, not
(37:00):
Girl Boss one hundred and fifteen pound women drop kicking
three hundred pound men and stuff like that. So I'm
glad that Jan Ortega is, you know, standing up for
basically what she believes. I really, I'm really a fan
of actors, and as somebody who is a writer, I'm
(37:24):
a big fan of actors standing up the writers and
kind of putting the writers in their place, because writers
right now in Hollywood, a lot of the writers are
just terrible.
Speaker 3 (37:35):
Are the producers? For that matter? Who are writers? Probably
just doing what producers tell them to do. But all
that being said, how's it going. Here's a report today
from the summer box office season not doing well. Apparently
summer box office down eleven percent. And when you look
at the movies that did well versus the movies that
versus the movies that didn't do well, it was the
non woke stuff that did great. Deadpool and Wolverine did
(37:58):
very well, Twister, Despicable Me, for basically just movies with
no agenda bad Boys, Ride or Die. A lot of
people thought Will Smith's career is over, but he went
back and did a funny movie that where they make
fun of woke stuff stars black people. You know, it's
not like this is a white black thing or whatever,
and that did quite well. It turns out Hollywood and
(38:19):
video game culture of something in common here. Sony just
put out a video game called Concord. Concord is a
woke video game. For lack of a better explanation, one
of the female one of the heroes of the film
is a an obese fat woman wearing what looks like
body armor and purple lipstick. And apparently the game flopped
(38:41):
so badly that they shut it down after two weeks
and all the video game buyers are getting a refund.
It's the universal rule, go woke, Go well, why don't
you tell us, tim Well?
Speaker 6 (38:53):
I mean, it's even worse than you're describing. Apparently, one
of the superpowers, or one of the abilities in that
game is the ability to cancel some body if they
say the wrong thing.
Speaker 3 (39:05):
Shut up that that sounds like a parody I would
have produced. That's a real thing.
Speaker 2 (39:09):
No and that.
Speaker 6 (39:10):
But that's what's so funny about this game. And it
was funded by I think Norway's government or something.
Speaker 3 (39:16):
Like that, a liberal government funded it. Shut up, bro,
that's too funny.
Speaker 6 (39:23):
Yeah yeah, it's it's a game that's actual propaganda, and
they put it out and and nobody wanted it, even
the people.
Speaker 2 (39:32):
See.
Speaker 6 (39:33):
That's the thing that's so funny. You know when you
see things like oh, reimagine for modern audiences or whatever,
that modern audience doesn't even want it, So like, who
are you making this for other than maybe to do
a tax Right off, the game is being pulled off
the store, off the shelves, like two weeks after it drops,
(39:53):
So it's hilarious. I very much enjoy people that really
don't love art being put in their place. I mean,
you can't make art, which video games are art, obviously,
movies are art. You can't make art with the sole
purpose to propagandize people. That's not art anymore. You're not
(40:15):
doing it out of passion, you're not doing it out
of a sense to entertain somebody. You're doing it to
influence people into your way of thinking, which is absolutely insane.
So I'm all about things like concord falling flat on
its state.
