Speaker 1 (00:00):
Giganic government sucks. The suit of having us radio is
DeLux Liberty and freedom will make you smile. A suit
of having us on your radio toil justice. Cheseburgers a
liberty rise. At the food Hap.

Speaker 2 (00:21):
A junk dealer discovered a painting in a basement that
might be an original Picasso. It's supposed to be worth
millions of dollars. I checked my storage closet. All I
found was a skateboard with three wheels and a jigsaw puzzle.
My ex wife hasn't touched since the pandemic. Ow. Well,
Hi everybody, I'm Kenny Webster. Thanks for being here today.
You know who else is here this afternoon? Holly Hanson

(00:43):
is gonna stop by from the Texan Dot News. We're
gonna give you all the latest from uh there's a
there's a stone cold pack of female Republican judicial candidates
that are trying to stop the state from flipping blue. Now,
that might sound like hyperbole, Kenny, Why would a handful
of judicial candidates be the reason why the state does

(01:04):
or doesn't turn red or blue? Well, I mean it's
red now, but why it might flip blue? I'll explain
why I don't often say stuff like that. If you've
been listening to me on the radio for years, you
know I often make this point that a lot of
people telling you, oh, Texas is gonna turn blue, Texas
is gonna turn blue, are exaggerating when they say it.
Like in the case of the Ted Cruz callin Alrid race.

(01:25):
I don't believe Cruse is gonna lose, but you should
still vote. If you don't vote, Cruse will lose. I'll
tell you that right now. But this judicial race for
the Court of Appeals, this might actually be the precursor
to the state. We'll explain why. And again not hyperbole
that I really believe that. By the way, April la

(01:46):
Guire is going to be stopping by in a little bit.
She is the spokesperson for Joscelyn Nungarese family. Earlier this week,
we got a search warrant PDF file the results essentially
of what was found after police conducted their investigation into
those men that murdered that young woman under a bridge

(02:06):
for two hours. They tortured and raped her before killing her.
Turns out they're part of a terrorist organization, which one
we'll talk about it. Stick around for that that's coming up.
In a little bit in the meantime, so much going
on today in the news that with only an hour
to share with you, I don't know where to start.
I guess a good place to start would be this.

Speaker 3 (02:27):
Y'all.

Speaker 2 (02:28):
Remember we had a debate earlier this week between two
vice presidents vice presidential candidates, two guys that would like
to be your VP. In both instances, both candidates turned
out to be relatively polite. It was a very Midwest moment.
As a guy that grew up in the Midwest, I
felt like I was watching two of my uncles have

(02:49):
an argument over politics, very polite, with like low key
insults followed by oh, okay, I agree with you. You know,
Liberals are mad at Tim Walls. They thought he did
a crappy job at that debate. I'm gonna go ahead
and examine two claims made by Tim Walls during his
losing debate with JD Vance this week. Now we could
rebut and contest even more assertions and statements. But as

(03:11):
Walls's cascade of dishonesty has caused even NBC News to
ask if the Democrat vice presidential nominee has a problem
with the truth, I don't think we need to go there.
There's a report today a town hall dot Com. They
break it down for you. For the purposes of this
radio segment, let's stick to the substance issues of the
border crisis and abortion. During an exchange on immigration, Tim

(03:33):
denied that Kamala Harris's administration allowed millions of illegals into
the country and claimed that unlawful crossings are lower than
when Trump left office. An exact quote, CBS moderator said, Governor,
I do want to let you respond to the allegation
that the bias president is letting in migrants. Walls said, well,
of course that's not true. And again you have the facts.

(03:55):
I guess we agreed not to fact check. I'll check it.
That look, crossings are that he says that Comma Look,
Comma crossings are down compared to when Donald left office.
But it's again blaming and not trying to find the solution.
End quote. Okay, let's check it. Kamala took office with Joe.
Joe says everything that he's done had Kamala's stamp of

(04:16):
approval on it. So we'll start with that that everything
that Joe has done has Kamala's signature on it. So
if you don't like a Joe Biden policy, you don't
like Kamala policies. That's's start with that. Joe made her
the Borders Are, I know, not an official title, but
he said she's going to go down to the border
and fix things. And so CBS fact checked jd Vance

(04:39):
over this, but CBS's own journalists referred to her as
the Borders Are in their reports until it became problematic,
a political liability for their party. And you know, since then,
ten million, at least ten million crossings have been recorded.
Now you could argue that they're illegal or not illegal
based on whether or not, you know, case by case,
did Joe let them in illegally or not? But they weren't.

(05:00):
I would say they're not supposed to cross the border
like that. Let's just put it that way. People always
get mad at me because I nitpick on this. Okay,
are they illegal if the president let him in? You know,
it's like that old We've used this example so many times.
If you pull up to a red light and a
police officer waves you through the intersection, Did you run
the red light?

Speaker 4 (05:20):
No?

Speaker 2 (05:20):
You probably didn't, right, And that's sort of what this
is here are they in the country illegally? They should
be in the country illegally. The problem is they're not
so calling them illegals. While you know, we get the point,
it's not anyway, I'm getting off topic here. Here's the facts, guys.
Border crossings are way up. We know that. How do
we know that? Because the Border patrol told us who

(05:41):
does the border patrol work for the Department of Homeland Security.
Who does the Department of Homeland Security work for Joe Biden?
So we know that these border crossings are somewhere around
ten million because yeah, sorry, sorry, kids, because Joe Biden's
administration told us that. Sorry Tim, Hey, it's me the
Donald listening to the Pursuit of Happiness radio.

Speaker 5 (06:03):
Voice from the Radio games.

Speaker 2 (06:06):
People are panic buying toilet paper again because of the
port strike and apparently because Taco Bell has new menu items.
I get it. I mean, I'm assuming that's what it's
because of the port strike, right, Either that or those
stupid bears are more persuasive than I could ever have imagined.
I don't know how they do it. Kids, Hi, welcome
back from break Coming up in a little bit, Holly
Hansen's going to be here April Laguire, We're going to

(06:28):
talk about crime in Southeast Texas. We have new information
on the Joscelyn Nungree case, new information about corruption in
the political scene in Fort ben County to get to.
But before we get to any of that, I've just
been doing fact checks from the vice presidential debate earlier
this week, and like, I get it, there's so much
going on in the news today, I don't even know
where to start. But Tim Walls denied and that the

(06:53):
law he signed in his state permits abortions in the
ninth month of pregnancy. Remember, he said, that's not what
the bill says. Turns out he was lying about that
during the debate this week. He claimed, no, no, no,
we don't allow late term abortions, and they do. Minnesota's
horrifying abortion law does not permit unfettered elective abortion all
the way through birth, he says, But it actually turns

(07:16):
out it does. Listen to this abortion in Minnesota. Is
abortion legal in Minnesota? Yes? This is from a website
called abortionfinder dot org. It's the thing liberals created to
help you get an abortion if you live in a
state where you can't get an abortion. This says there's
no limit on abortion in Minnesota based on how far
along in the pregnancy you are. To figure out how

(07:37):
far along you are in pregnancy, count from the first
day of your last period, says abortion windered out a
good lord. Now, as for the infanticide portion of the discussion,
here are the facts. Quote. Minnesota Department of Health documents
show that eight infants were born alive during abortion procedures
between twenty nineteen and twenty twenty two, and in twenty
twenty three, Walls sign legislation that repealed most of the

(07:59):
statute design to protect infants born alive after an abortion attempt.
Minnesota state law explicitly protected children born alive during an
abortion procedure since at least nineteen seventy six, when the
state legislature adopted Section one four five point four to
two three. In twenty fifteen, the Minnesota State Legislature passed
additional legislation signed into law by Democrat Governor Mark Dayton.

(08:21):
That legislature was intended to expand the state's protections for
born alive infants. Then, on May twenty second, twenty twenty three,
the Minnesota Minnesota State Legislator passed an omnibus bill was
a bill with a lot of different stuff tucked away
inside of it, including a very radical policy on abortion
signed the next day by Tim Walls that repealed all

(08:42):
six subdivisions added by the twenty fifteen Born Alive Infants
Protection Act. I could go on, but it's there. That's
what their law is. So they lied about this. It's
just weird that CBS would fact check jd Vance on
something he was right about, but not on Tim Walls
about something he was wrong about. Anyway, there's another report
today at town hall dot com talking about how Tim

(09:05):
Walls may be a liar. But Jadvance brought the receipts
for the debate claim. The moderator challenged him on you
remember when they muted his mic I would play the
clip for you, but I don't have a ton of
time here. Just know that they corrected jd Vance and
then he tried to corre to set the record straight.
They turned his microphone off during Tuesday night's debate. Twenty
five million illegal immigrants competing with Americans for scarce homes

(09:30):
is one of the most significant drivers of home prices
in the country. It's why we have massive increases in
home prices that have happened right alongside massive increases in
illegal alien alien populations under Kamala Harris's leadership. Now, as
it turns out, we know about this because it is
in a report from the Federal Reserve. There's a Federal

(09:51):
Reserve study, and that really drills down the connection between
increased levels of migration, especially illegal immigran and the higher
housing prices. Of course, it's not the only reason, but
it certainly is part of it, sure enough. Jdvance hopped
on Twitter and posted a link to the Federal Reserve study.

(10:12):
There is a risk that strong consumer demand for services,
increased immigration, and continued labor market tightness could lead to
persistently high core service inflation. Given the current low inventory
of affordable housing, the inflow of new immigrants to some
geographic areas could result in upward pressure on rent as
additional housing supply may take time to materialize. Wage growth

(10:33):
has remained at an elevated rate between four and five percent,
still higher than the pace consistent with the two percent inflation.
They're trying to make it sound like things are better
than they are, and they still sound pretty bad, don't they.
And as it turns out, Jdvance posted two more studies
to go with it. Immigration inflows into the particular metropolitan

(10:54):
statistics area is associated with increase in rents and house prices.
Guises is all information from the federal goverment. The federal
government told us this. Who's federal government Joe Biden's federal government.
I may not agree with the twenty twenty election results,
but I understand. I'm smart enough, I'm aware enough of
the fact that he's been in charge of our federal

(11:14):
government for the last four years. Okay, maybe that's not
entirely true. He hasn't been in charge, but the people
standing behind him, we even't really had a president for
four years three and a half. But whatever. But Joe
Biden is a puppet president. Whoever is holding the Marionette
dolls strings published this report and they're the reason why

(11:39):
Tim Walls lost that debate. I'm sorry, even with the
CBS moderators trying to help him stick around, We're going
to talk about crime in Southeast Texas and some new
revelations about Venezuela and migrant gangs living in and around
where you live that you're gonna want to hear about
if you care about your family's safety. This is Kenny
Webster's pursuit of happiness. Dig It. Let's talk about Joscelyn

(12:02):
Nungary for a few moments. If you don't mind, you
remember her, the young woman who went through absolute hell
during the last moments of her life as she was
senselessly murdered, raped, probably tortured by two men who we
now believe are members of, or at least connected to,

(12:22):
Trend de Arragua, the Venezuelan street gang that has now
been characterized as a terror group here in the state
of Texas. When we last left off with this story,
it was about three weeks ago. I guess mid to
early September, a Texas judge blocked an attempt to keep
the story of Joscelyn Nungeries killing out of the media spotlight.

(12:47):
An odd thing for a judge to do. You may recall,
both of these suspects entered the country illegally at the
southern border, charged with capital murder after they allegedly lured
a twelve year old girl under a bridge and assaulted
her for two hours before strangling her to death and
dumping her bound stripped body into a Houston Bayou. No

(13:08):
matter how bad you think that sounds, I'd be willing
to about It's probably worse than you think. And so
this news story, while something that happened right here in
our own backyard, captured national attention, just one of many
in a slew of high profile crimes tied to illegal immigrants. Now,
as a result, one of the suspects, lawyers demanded a

(13:29):
protective order to prevent officials in Houston from making extra
judicial statements on the case, and obtained a copy of
the filing. Over at Fox News. We've now been able
to actually look at not only that filing, but we've
seen the search hoorn results and they're pretty alarming. Here

(13:50):
right now is a spokesperson, a local victims' rights advocate
in Houston, Texas. We've spoken with her before April, I guire,
if you've never heard her on this radio show, you
really this is someone you really do need to follow
on social media. You can find her on Twitter at
April like gire t X April. What's happened with that
gag order? Is there any update to that?

Speaker 6 (14:12):
They're really pushing hard on it, and there's been threats
made against the victim's family to stay quiet, but The
thing is, this family has already lost so much, and
I encourage all victims families to never stop being outspoken,
because you know, if you don't want your client being
spoken about them, he shouldn't have murdered a twelve year

(14:32):
old little girl, period, you know. And it's such an
evil fashion. And now with this search warrant, it's being
brought to light how obvious it was. It's one of
the individuals had specifics tattoos that were just like MS thirteen,
obvious signs that there were in the trend dahwa again.

(14:52):
So it just goes to show how little we are
putting attention into who we're allowing him to this country.

Speaker 2 (14:59):
Wow. I mean it is so alarming. Okay, So now
we've seen the search warrant results, and you shared it
with me. I posted in on social media. Our own
governor shared that with his followers, so and even implied
that these gentlemen seem like they should be getting the
death penalty. If there is a death penalty, I would

(15:20):
think these guys are certainly going to qualify for it,
assuming they're guilty, which they certainly seem to be. It's
always possible there's something we don't know, but I think
it's very unlikely at this point. Have you had a
chance to look through those documents? Is there anything really
startling or revealing that you weren't aware of before the
search results the search weren't results were published, you know.

Speaker 6 (15:40):
And fortunately I did have access privileged access to the
case files early on. I was aware, and it was
so hard for me to stay quiet. Right specifically when
this gang was named a foreign terrorist organization here in
the state of Texas, which they are, so the callousness
and so let people understand, this was created within the

(16:01):
prison system of Venezuela, so you know the type of
folks that we're dealing with. So they weren't even good
enough to the Venezuelans. There is credible rumors saying that
they are emptying up their jails and they basically evicting
them from the state, from their country and saying if
you come back, you're going to prison for life. They
don't want to spend the money to keep these inmates

(16:23):
in their prisons, so where do they go. They head
to the US, and within these documents you can see
how they publicize their whole entire journey from Venezuela to
Mexico all on social media. It's all there and what's
Awso there is these vivid tattoos that are specifically linked
to this gang, and we're just letting these people write

(16:45):
in What do they have to write on their body?
I am a part of MS thirteen, I am a
part of the Trindra Awa gang. For us not to
let them in, I mean, wow, but we're letting everybody in,
even with these distinctive tattoos.

Speaker 2 (16:57):
Yeah, that's what's crazy, right, I mean, we already know
what their tattoos look like. If somebody was walking around
with a swastika tattooed on their arm, you'd know they
were probably a neo Nazi, and the trend a Aragua
tattoos are just as distinguishable. They're easy to identify. I
would assume our border patrol would know what they look like.
And yet over and over again, there seem to be
cases of these guys getting captured, detained, briefly, then released,

(17:21):
and then these very preventable crimes happen. Some of the
most horrific things to grace our news life, things to
show up in the news headlines that in years, I mean,
really shocking stuff and it's happening in our own backyard.
So I guess the next obvious question, which has an
obvious answer, but I think it still needs to be
pointed out, is these aren't the only trend ay Aragua
gang members in Houston.

Speaker 6 (17:42):
Are they Absolutely not. We're getting full of them, and
we're going to start seeing more and more of these
calluses crimes being committed, and it's going to become, in
a sense, normalized, because they're going to start happening more
and more. Unfortunately, these people are already here, and it
would be almost impossible to get rid of them all.
Just talking about the individuals that didn't qualify for asylum,

(18:04):
or the individuals that never even tried to go through
the asylum process once they got into this country, cut
off those ankle monitors. We don't know where they are,
we don't know who they are to put they're here,
and that's a huge problem.

Speaker 2 (18:16):
All right, Let's talk a little bit about our military
and the role they're playing in all of this. Something
that I often hear people ask, and it's a fair question,
is why doesn't the governor of Texas, why doesn't the
National Guard of Texas do anything about this? And they
in some ways, they are right. We've talked about this
a lot over the last several months, but their hands
are really tied by federal laws and executive orders from

(18:40):
our President Joe Biden that prevent them from doing much
more than handing out juice boxes and sandwiches at the border.
You know, it sounds awful, but it's true. It's one
of the reasons why I often point out to people
it's one thing to call them illegal immigrants, but it's
almost at this point it's not even accurate, because they
should be illegal immigrants. They should this should be against
the law. What's happening. Unfortunately, we've created a system that's

(19:02):
made it legal for them to get into the country.
So we can call them ill legal all we want.
It doesn't change anything. Joe's still letting them walk over
the border. And that's probably a lot to do with
the reason why you don't see the military stepping in, isn't.

Speaker 6 (19:14):
It April Absolutely, And so what we're having the executive
branch is preventing the military from being activated. Even as
you see here with this hurricane response to all of
these states, with which only on Twitter we are seeing
the images of how it looks like a worn torn country.
And to me, I always wonder I haven't seen any

(19:36):
images of Ukraine looking like this. How come North Carolina
and Georgia are facing such awful situations and our military
is not there. Well, it's because their hands are tied.
They need to be ordered to be there, and if
they don't have orders, they can mobilize.

Speaker 2 (19:51):
Yeah, that's a really good point, right. The footage we're
seeing from Georgia and the Carolinas actually looks as bad
or worse than anything we're seeing from so called war
torn Ukraine. Oddly enough, that's a place where Angelina Jolie
and Sean Penn went on vacation in the middle of
a war. Kind of makes it seem like it's not
much of a war. But whatever, I don't know. I'm
not there. What I'm in America.

Speaker 6 (20:13):
We have billions, We have billions to give to Ukraine,
and we're only offering seven hundred and fifty dollars to
individuals through FEMA, and FEMA is already warning they don't
have enough money to get through the hurricane season. So
let alone be able to take care of Americans that
are going through the war situations of their lives right now.

Speaker 2 (20:31):
Yeah, a common point people have been making on social media,
a common talking point that I do agree with. So
I'm just going to throw it out there. The hurricane
victims are getting seven hundred fifty dollars from the government.
The illegal immigrants coming over our border are getting twenty
five hundred. Now. As infuriating as that is, it's still
not the worst thing happening out there because the federal
government has basically dragged their feet on this whole thing.

(20:53):
You know, it was years ago we had Hurricane Katrina
take place, and that was very bad. And I don't
know how many people remember this, but Barack Obama actually
criticized our president at the time, George W. Bush, for
not acting quickly enough. I think I have an old
SoundBite of this. Let me see if I can find
it here. Here is Obama after Hurricane Katrina. Now, Bush

(21:15):
waited three days versus the seven days from Biden. With
Hurricane Halleen of New.

Speaker 4 (21:19):
Orleans and the Gulf Coast extended their hand for help.

Speaker 2 (21:23):
Help was not there.

Speaker 4 (21:25):
We can talk about levies that couldn't hold, about a
FEMA that seemed not just incompetent, but paralyzed and powerless
about a president who only saw the people from the
window of an airplane instead of down here on the
ground trying to for by comfort an aid.

Speaker 2 (21:43):
Okay, now, for the record, George W. Bush reacted a
lot faster than Joe Biden has with this hurricane. But
you and I were talking off the air, and you
made an interesting point, and I want you to make
it again. I had pointed out, I don't see how
it almost feels like Biden's trying to to hurt Kamala here, right,
because we know Democrats could potentially win Georgia. They're the

(22:05):
senators of Georgia are Democrats. They've won statewide elections recently
in the last four years, the last two years. They
could get the electoral votes out of Georgia. They could
get the electoral votes out of the Carolinas. I think
Joe Biden won one of, if not both, of those states.
I don't have that data in front of me, but
I know he's well liked in the Carolinas. So it
almost makes you wonder why would they want to upset

(22:26):
people in that part of the country. Don't they want
those votes? But you'd made a really interesting point off
the air. What was that.

Speaker 6 (22:33):
You know, they may not want these people to be
fully up and running come election day now that they
see what a poor response they're getting from their government.
They may not want. They may not care about abortion
as much as anymore. They may not care about trans
rights anymore as much as they do about realizing that
they don't have core services or the support from the

(22:53):
government in a crisis. So all of a sudden, those
national talking points may just go out the window. Yeah,
and they might start thinking more logically and say, you
know what, I want a strong government that's here for
me in a crisis. If I pay into a system
for decades, the one time in my lifetime that I
need them, I'd like for them here when a hurricane
blows to the state and practically cuts us in half

(23:16):
from basic services. I want to know that our government
is going to have our back, and it's just not happening.

Speaker 2 (23:22):
You always wonder that is such a good point. You
always wonder what that internal polling looks like. April. What
are they seeing that we don't see. We get to
see CNN polls and Drudge Report polls, but we know
those aren't really accurate polls. We know those polls are
intended to influence us as much as they're intended to
inform us, if they're even intended to do that at all.
But these elected officials, these high ranking memories of the

(23:44):
Democrat and Republican Party spend millions of dollars on poll
results they don't share with us. Maybe they already know
George is going towards Trump. Maybe they already know the
Caroliners are going towards Trump, and they don't want to
help those people. And if that is the case, that
is a disgusting reality that we are waking up in
today in this country. Hey, I think you should all
follow April on social media. Find her on Twitter, April

(24:07):
A gire t X. I'll tell you what, I'll retweet
some of her recent stuff. Just look at my page
and you guys can find her. Quick Break Holly Hanson
from the TEXANDT News coming up in a minute.

Speaker 5 (24:16):
This is what the hell the news ain't showing off.

Speaker 2 (24:18):
Pursuit of Happiness Radio on KPRC. N Okay, So today
is Mean Girls Day? Did y'all know that there's a
reference to today's date In the movie Mean Girls? They
say what day is it? And then it was October third,
twenty twenty four. I don't know what that means. It's
also National Boyfriend Day. And since it is mean Girls

(24:41):
Day and National Boyfriend Day, I've decided to invite on
the show Holly Hanson of the TEXANDT News. Holly, that's
the worst introduction I ever gave you, wasn't it.

Speaker 5 (24:51):
I'm telling you, Wow, I don't know taking back all
the nice things I said about you.

Speaker 2 (24:56):
I love Holly. Holly, you know I love you. I
just kiding to me. Right as I was going on
the air with her, I had some notes in front
of me, and I thought, oh, I can make a
poorly worded joke out of this. Holly. For the record,
who's a good friend of mine. She is an eligible bachelorette,
who is a fantastic journalist from Southeast Texas, a hard working,
smart woman who is red pilled and based, and one

(25:18):
of the only honest journalists in this part of the
country who I trust. And all that being said, today
she attended a press conference for something called the Stop
Houston Murders pack. Now, I would assume everybody listening to
me would agree that stopping Houston murders is a cause
we could all get behind. Surely this isn't a partisan

(25:38):
issue that people on the left are strongly opposed to.

Speaker 5 (25:41):
Right, Holly, Well, one would think. And at this press conference,
we had a number of people who had family members
murdered in Houston, allegedly by suspects who had been released
on bond in Harris County, some of the multiple bonds.
Is it's pretty disturbing to hear these people's stories. And
I happen to know that some of the individuals who

(26:03):
spoke at this event are Democrats, so they tend to
vote Democrat. They vote for Democrat candidates elsurrou on the ticket.
But they were very vocal today in saying that they
want voters to come out and vote against these judges
who are Democrats sitting on these criminal court benches in
Harris County because they don't like the way they're handling

(26:25):
these three peat violent offenders. Obviously, these families have paid
a huge price for what they are calling a social
experiment gone wrong. You know, in one case, you had
the son of a woman by the name of Rosalie Cook.
She was an older woman, a widow. She was stabbed
to death a couple of years ago in a Walgreens

(26:46):
parking lot. And the suspect in that case is Randy Lewis.
He had been combined to a psychiatric hospital. He'd been
released on felony bonds. He had had seventy prior arrests,
but to the criminal justice system in Harris County did
not seem very interested in keeping him, you know, away

(27:07):
from people where he could do harm. And unfortunately, eighty
year old Rosalie Cook paid with her life. So you
can imagine Charles Cook is calling for voters come out
and vote against these judges who want to release these people.
You know, it also Ties.

Speaker 2 (27:22):
Young go ahead, No, go ahead, and finish your point.

Speaker 5 (27:25):
No, I was going to say it Ties in there.
You know, we've got a number of races on the ballot.
Everybody pays so much attention to those presidential races and
the senatorial race and the you know, the big players
in the room, but you've got a slew of judicial
races that matter very much in Houston, Harris County, and
the state of Texas.

Speaker 2 (27:46):
Oh yeah, that's absolutely true. I mean, everybody's so busy
talking about polling data in Texas when it comes to
the Senate, when it comes to the president. They're say, now,
Cruise isn't in any trouble. He's going to beat all
rid They'll say, no, Trump's not in any trouble. It's
the poly data is a real slap in the face
to Kamala's campaign. No offense to Doug m Hoffsack's girlfriend.

(28:06):
But these local elections are just as important, Holly, I
think you're absolutely correct about that. And we were just
saying off the air, if these what is it these
judicial candidates we're running in this race and I very
often overlooked a race right now for twenty twenty four
is the first and five seats on the fourteenth Court

(28:29):
of Appeals. If we lose this stuff, I honestly think
Texas goes blue in the next two years.

Speaker 5 (28:35):
It's a real issue and a lot of people are
going what we never heard of these appeals courts, But
these appeals courts are so important. So these two appeals
courts totally overlap. They cover all of Houston and they
cover ten total counties in Southeast Texas, and they are
kind of the courts that have the final say on
almost every case in the state of Texas. So they

(28:57):
take criminal civil cases all the appeal and probably ninety
percent of cases are resolved in these appeals courts. But
Democrats swept those court selections in twenty eighteen and they've
had control of those courts. There's been a real problem
with the slowness of the courts to process these cases.

(29:19):
There's one case last year where the top court, one
of these Supreme courts in Texas will just lambasted those
court because they had held an appeal and let it
languish in the court for nearly five years, and then
you know it's still pending, that case still has not
been resolved, and so you know, you have a real problem.

(29:41):
They're also dealing with all these criminal cases, all these
you know, defendants out on bond and so forth. So
it's really important to take a look at who's actually
sitting on these benches. And since Harris County is so
big and has so many voters, Harris County residents have
the opportunity to just kind of override the other nine

(30:03):
counties that maybe tend to be a little more conservative.
Maybe it's the exception of Florid ben County, but they
really could have an impact. You know, Harris County voters
did send a couple of Republicans to judicial benches in
the twenty twenty two elections. So they're hoping to grab
that momentum, draw attention to these races and get folks

(30:26):
to pay attention not just to who's at the top
of the ticket, but consider, you know what's down ballot.
So you've got all these judicial races. There are actually
ten elections for these appeals courts that Houston Harris County
voters will vote on, and there's other appeals courts across
the state. But these are just really important elections and

(30:48):
you know, your educated voter really needs to pay attention
to them.

Speaker 2 (30:51):
Yeah, and you know, talk radio listeners get it right,
I mean I assume they do. That's probably they're trying
to be informed. I thought, what I find so frustrating
about this is, while these are local news stories, you're
talking about with these victims of very heinous crimes, begging
the system, please don't let the suspect out of jail.
Please don't let the suspect out of jail. This isn't

(31:12):
unique to Houston, Holly. I was just reading a story
earlier today the Renton Police Department said a suspect named
Kayshawan conscience. Jamarison, age nineteen murdered What did he fatally stab?
A sixty five year old veteran and then gets released
from jail twenty seven hours earlier? Twenty seven hours later.
Had this have not happened in Seattle, if I didn't
know what happened in Seattle, I would have thought, oh

(31:34):
is that? Where did that happen? A leaf? Where did
that happen? What the fifth ward? No, it's this is
happening all over the country. People don't understand this bond
reform issue. This didn't go away. Just because people in
Houston became aware of it doesn't mean it's still not
a problem on a national level. This is what equity is.
When you hear people talk about equity, what they're really

(31:54):
talking about is Marxism, right. Political equity means everybody gets
the same results. Sorry, I don't understand why a violent
criminal should get the same results as somebody that followed
the law their whole life. You know, we have these
judges in Houston, what are they called black girl magic,
all black girl mess so empowering, black girl magic. Weirdly,
you don't hear the liberal media talk about them very

(32:15):
much since getting elected, mostly because what they've been doing
is letting violent criminals out of jail, and they've been
murdering your friends and your family members and your neighbors.
But for some reason, they don't get a lot of attention,
do they Holly, they don't.

Speaker 5 (32:28):
And it's really unfortunate because you know, what you're seeing
is the implementation of you called it Marxism. There's a
lot of different ways to describe it, but essentially, what
these people believe is that you should not detain anyone
until they've actually been convicted of the crime. And they
also believe that the system is racist, and so they

(32:51):
think that you know, a lot of these people are
being accused of crimes or just victims of racism. Consequently,
they continuously tend to release the some of these violent
offenders who are being brought in on all kinds of charges.
I mean, we have suspects out on the streets in
Houston Harris County on bond who have been charged with
capital murder, so they're eligible for the death penalty in

(33:13):
the state of Texas. This is a real concern. And
even people who are tend to be Democrats and vote
for Democrat candidates like Harris and Biden. They're really concerned
about this and don't think that this is the way
our criminal justice system should operate.

Speaker 2 (33:31):
Hey, before we are out at a time here and
we only have a couple minutes left. But it's something
I never covered on the show, and I'm amazed we
never talked about this. Fort ben County Judge KP. George.
I'm not sure we ever covered this story. We talked
about it in the morning, but I don't know if
the afternoon show ever talked about it. This Democrat judge
in Texas got busted for using a fake Facebook page

(33:51):
to make racist comments about himself. He became his own
hate crime victim in an attempt to Garner's sympathy and
secure reelection. You know how I know America is not racist, Holly,
This right here, This guy thought that by making himself
a victim of racism, he could become a powerful elected official.

(34:12):
What's the latest do this? For those that don't understand this,
can you give us the skinny on it in your take?

Speaker 5 (34:18):
Yeah, it's pretty incredible. And just to clarify this county
judge For those who are not well informed about the
weird Texas politics. He's actually kind of like the mayor
of the county as the chief executive. But he had
a chief of staff guy who created these fake talents
on Facebook and social media and used them to post

(34:40):
very racist comments about the Indian American community that is
very large there in Fort Benk County as a way
to gin up support and sympathy first campaign, and so KP.
George is the county judge in Fort Benk County, he
was tied directly to these efforts and use some of

(35:00):
these faked racist posts in his campaign in twenty twenty two.
Now he has been indicted on misdemeanor charges. The main suspect,
his former chief of staff, is facing I believe four
felony and four misdemeanor charges. So I think we're going
to continue to hear a lot about that. And looked
at the search warrants and evidence honestly is pretty damning.

Speaker 2 (35:23):
You know how we knew this was fake? It was Look.
Racism exists, you know that. But I live in Houston,
I live in Southeast Texas. I cover news all over
this region and two things you see all the time
here are people from South Asia with lineage from South
Asia and acceptance from them. I don't hear anybody making
I don't see any division between the community at large

(35:46):
and the Indian community. Like nobody cares, nobody has an
issue with it.

Speaker 6 (35:50):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (35:51):
Just the other day, the Houston Chronicle published a list
of the top fifty Indian restaurants in Houston, and the
only outrage stem from the fact that there were a
bunch of other restaurants that weren't included on the list. Now,
knowing that there were fifty restaurants that they could highlight,
I think kind of tells you something about how Houston
feels about Indian Americans. Am I wrong?

Speaker 5 (36:13):
No, not at all. I mean, he'ston in the Harrison
County area. It's so diverse, you know. Yes, of course
you're right. There are certainly some people out there who
are racist in each community, but by and large, it's
a very tolerant community. I really haven't seen evidence of this,
And some of these faked racist posts were just frankly

(36:34):
kind of weird, you know. And what they tried to
do is they tried to make it look like it
was supporters of the Republican County Commissioner in Fort Benk County,
Andy Myers, they trying to make it look like it
was his supporters. Well, Andy Myers, I think it was
either his chief of staff or one of the staffers
was an Indian American, and so you know, he was

(36:55):
upset by the post. And he's the one that asked
the district attorney in Fort Benk County to invent instigate,
find out who's doing this. And he said he, you know,
his staffed that they had no idea it would lead
back to these Democratic candidates, and they were pretty shocked
about it. But yeah, it just seems like it's a
whole you know, Jesse Smallett being trying to gin up

(37:18):
sympathy and jin up tension within the community that really
wasn't there beforehand.

Speaker 2 (37:22):
Liberals do this thing where they'll project their own low
key racism onto conservatives while simultaneously accusing us of being racist.
I'll give you an example. Over the weekend, Jade Vance
was parodied on the TV show Saturday Night Live. They
were anticipating that the VP debate was going to happen
on Tuesday or I don't remember quite how they did

(37:42):
the bit, but Jade Vance was played by Asian actor
Bowen Yang On the show, he's an Asian comedian on
the show, and a very common cliche response to this
from liberals on social media was, oh, I bet Jady
Vance is really mad that an Asian played him on
Saturday Night Live, not realizing that jd Vance's wife is

(38:04):
from South she's Asian. It's a different part of Asia,
but whatever, she's from South Asia. Who cares the fact
that they thought that that was insulting says more about
them than it does about our side. When Bowen Yang
came out on stage pretending to be Jada Vance, I
didn't think twice about that other than just like, oh, yeah,
it doesn't really sound like jd Vance. It didn't occur

(38:26):
to me that, oh, the fact that he's Asian is
supposed to be a backhanded insult. But I guess that's
we just sit don't see it the same way, Holly.

Speaker 5 (38:34):
I don't think so. It does seem like there's a
lot of projection going on where you have these you know,
these Twitter trolls essentually right or they're saying, oh, my
bed he's mad, or you know so and so the
racist or probably fumings like what are you talking about?
And so, uh yeah, that's it's not real life. But obviously,
obviously for some communities that works, it works them into

(38:57):
a ladder. They get very concerned, and we see some
of that in Houston Harris County where now you've got
to the commissioner, Rodney Ellis and the county attorney calling
for the DOJ to come in and monitor the elections
in Harris County because you know they're afraid of voter suppression. Well,
you know, it's a it's a black Democrat woman who's

(39:18):
running the elections in Harris County. So you know, I
don't know if they're worried about her or what exactly
is going on there, but it does seem like a
lot of projection.

Speaker 2 (39:26):
Hey, real quick, before we run out of time, and
we've already run out of time, like three minutes ago.
Have you seen these photos of Jimmy Carter. Look, he's
the guy's one hundred years old. He's in a bed.
They drag him out in front of the TV cameras,
so you could see a guy who's basically comatose. His
grandson says he's voting for Kamala. Now obviously when he dies,
he's going to vote Democrat for the rest of his life.

(39:48):
But don't you think while he's in this middle ground
state here of not quite being dead yet but not
really alive anymore, you shouldn't be able to vote, right
I h it's.

Speaker 5 (39:59):
Those pictures are are pretty painful. I can't imagine whose
idea that was to bring him out when he's in
that condition. I certainly wouldn't have done that to any
of my family members.

Speaker 2 (40:09):
I know that was my first thought. Don't they love
this guy, Holly? We got a run? I love Holly,
Holly Hanson. I promise you, Holly, when you're in a
state like that, or if I am, let's not get ourselves.
I'll probably be that way first with the way I live.
Never let the TV camera see me when I'm wearing
poopy diapers, Holly. And I'm gonna end the show on
that note. You know what, I'll end the show on this.
Follow Holly Hanson on social media and check out her

(40:31):
work at the text and do news to the rest
of you. I love you all. Will be back bright
and early tomorrow morning, a live Walton and Johnson show
in the morning tomorrow morning. I promise you tune in.
We'll be here.

Speaker 3 (40:46):
You are listening to the pursuit of Havaness Radio. Tell
the government to kiss your ass when you listen.

Speaker 2 (40:57):
To this show.
