Speaker 1 (00:00):
Giganic government sucks. Pursuit of happiness. Radio is deluxe. Liberty
and freedom will make you smiles of pursuit of happing
us on your radio. The hole, just as cheeseburger, is
a living and rise at.

Speaker 2 (00:23):
Let me make one final please, mister President. Millions have
put their trust in you, and as you told the
nation yesterday, you have felt the providential hand of a
loving God. In the name of our God, I ask

(00:45):
you HER's God to have mercy upon the people in
our country.

Speaker 3 (00:51):
We're scared, now, wow, scared.

Speaker 2 (00:54):
There are gay, lesbian, and transgender children in democratic, Republican
and independent families.

Speaker 3 (01:02):
That is the voice.

Speaker 4 (01:03):
I'm gonna pause her right here. This is the voice
of a woke Bishop. Marion Edgar Boode.

Speaker 3 (01:09):
Is that her name.

Speaker 4 (01:09):
She's the woke Whisperer, Saint Sensitivity pastor Progressive, the equity
of Angelists. She's the Reverend Rainbow. She's the inclusivity inquisitor.
She's the diversity Deacon, the Bishop of Broadmindedness, the Guru
of goodwill, the awareness Apostle. Actually, she's just some leftist

(01:31):
activists masquerading as a as a as an Episcopalian bishop
brypart dot com today reporting on Marion Bud, the anti
Trump bishop. We should thank her for she has returned
us to the glorious era of mean tweets. Yeah, admiral literal,
I mean Twitter isn't called Twitter anymore. I know Trump

(01:54):
used truth social and not ex Twitter calling it a
mean tweet. That's the hell on prepared to die on. Guys,
it's a mean tweet. He's doing it on a truth
social doesn't matter. This woman abused her religious platform at
the National Prayer Service on Tuesday to lecture Trump about
gay kids and illegal aliens. Trump was there with his
whole family JD. Vans and his beautiful wife sitting right there,

(02:17):
and this grotesque fake bishop said something that is straight
up demonic. She said, in the name of our God,
I ask you to have mercy upon the people in
our country who are scared now. They are gay, lesbian,
and transgender children. Guy, she's the reason they're scared. Trump's
not doing anything to trans kids other than not allowing

(02:38):
them to play field hockey with your fourteen year old daughter.
As someone went said in the same way, there are
no vegetarian cats, there are no transgender kids. Trans kids
are just kids that are being abused by sociopathic, narcissistic
sex predator adults.

Speaker 3 (02:53):
That's it.

Speaker 4 (02:55):
Anyone who claims to be close to God should be
outraged at what's happening to these children and speak out
against their sexualization and their permanent sterilization and mutilation.

Speaker 3 (03:04):
It's disgusting.

Speaker 4 (03:05):
So we have a fake bishop saying, in the name
of God, she calls on Trump to protect illegal aliens.
She said, they work at our poultry farms, our meatpacking plants,
they wash our dishes. Okay, racist. The body language that
was exhibited by Trump and Vance as this happened, he
was priceless. Nowhere nearest priceless is the return of mean tweets,

(03:27):
but even still, the return of late night mean tweets.
Trump fired off this doozy at twelve forty am, late at.

Speaker 3 (03:36):
Night, said quote.

Speaker 4 (03:38):
The so called bishop who spoke at the National Prayer
Service on Tuesday morning was a radical left, hardline Trump hater.
She brought her church into the will of politics in
a very ungracious way.

Speaker 3 (03:50):
She was so nasty in town and not compelling or smart.

Speaker 4 (03:54):
She failed to mention the large number of illegal migrants
that came into our country and killed people. Many were
deposited from jails and mental institutions. It's a giant crime
wave that is taking place in the US. Apart from
her inappropriate statements, the service was very boring and uninspiring.

Speaker 3 (04:12):
She's not very good at her job. She and her church,
Oh the public and apology guys.

Speaker 4 (04:20):
Some of the highlights here are so called bishop ungracious, nasty,
not compelling or smart, boring, uninspiring, not very good at
her job. That's what he said about a religious leader yesterday.
Do you know what this means. It means we are back.
I think ungracious sums it up. That was the perfect word.

Speaker 3 (04:36):
Marian is a.

Speaker 4 (04:37):
Ridiculous woman, totally unconcerned with what should be her top job,
and that's saving souls. Now, let's look at how everything's
changed since Trump took place. Trump fired off a mean
tweet eight years ago. We'd all be worried about how
corporate media would turn this into a week long scandal, right,
But that's not happening today. That things are different now,

(05:00):
that's just not the case anymore. The media no longer
have the credibility or the moral authority to do anything
or say anything effective about what Trump just did.

Speaker 3 (05:08):
He stepped around them.

Speaker 4 (05:09):
Above all, the public is no longer concerned with what
the fake media defines as the norms.

Speaker 3 (05:15):
That was the whole charade back then. To avoid the
truths Trump spoke, the media would distract from those truths
with a bunch of nonsense about presidential norms.

Speaker 4 (05:24):
Those days are over. Screw your presidential norms. Trump Trump
is the presidential norm Your presidential norm was a geriatric
zombie walking around in a diaper who could barely form
a sentence to remember who he was five minutes ago.
Instead of listening to the media, now people are listening
to Trump and they're ignoring you losers. Today Trump has

(05:46):
the moral authority and everyone's rolling their eyes.

Speaker 3 (05:49):
At the legacy media. Good stick around.

Speaker 4 (05:51):
Daniel Turner's here from Power the Future in Brandon Waltons
from Texas scorecard dot com. This is a recording of

(06:17):
somebody scrolling through a radio dialing turning the knob, a
very old fashioned sound effect by today's standards. Most of
you just listen to us on iHeartRadio or the Walton
Johnson app. Costs nothing, but it doesn't change the fact
that the Ramones hated communism.

Speaker 3 (06:33):
They did Did you know that?

Speaker 4 (06:35):
Did you know The Ramones, arguably America's first punk rock band,
could not stand communism.

Speaker 3 (06:41):
They thought it sucked.

Speaker 4 (06:42):
They were actually very patriotic, They thought America was cool.
Imagine that. Most of them are dead now, all the
original members. But I got to think if they were alive.
I got to think if they were alive today, they
would have performed at Trump's inauguration. Weird to think that,
but probably true. And I gotta think if Tupac was
alive today, he would be either a member of Trump's

(07:02):
cabinet or he would be the Republican governor of the
state of California. Weird, do imagine that, But you know,
that's just what I think. I was very happy this
week when Donald Trump signed an executive order that banned
all of the bad memes that liberals have been playing
this day forward. No memes unless they're hilarious, spicy memes

(07:23):
are no memes. If your meme has a paragraph of
text on it to make your political point, which is
how liberals always meme, you automatically get sent to Guantanamo Bay.
Now I think that is stern but fair. I support it.
I think it's great. I will also tell you this.
I spoke yesterday to one of the members, one of
the people that works on the grid operation here in Texas,

(07:44):
a so called grid operator.

Speaker 3 (07:45):
If you will.

Speaker 4 (07:47):
Many of them listen to our morning show, not surprisingly,
and he told me on Twitter X it's called none
of the state's solar panel farm is providing us with energy,
right like zero of the soul panels out in West
Texas as part of the Texas solar panel farms are
providing the grid with any energy this week as we

(08:08):
have this.

Speaker 3 (08:09):
Historic winter storm.

Speaker 4 (08:10):
Daniel Turner a Powerthefuture dot com that must shock you
being a guy that loves solar panels and talks about
how great they are all the time.

Speaker 5 (08:19):
It's great to be on with you, Kenny. There is
so much to talk about, so much has transpired in
a short couple of days. But let's focus in your
great city and state of Texas. And this is not
the fault of the Trump administration, this is not the
fault of maga extremist politics. This is the fault of physics.

(08:40):
And I know physics is a stubborn thing. I was
not good in physics in high school. I knew I
wasn't going to be a physics major in college if
I decided to go to college. There is a problem
with solar and wind that at certain temperatures they do
not generate a charge. Well, first of all, solar doesn't
generate a charge if it's covered in snow. So solar

(09:00):
panels in the winter are are not very helpful, right,
you know, they're like screen doors on a submarine. But
the same with wind turbines. It could be bitter cold
and wind blowing NonStop, but at a certain below zero temperature,
below freezing temperature, doesn't matter. If they're spinning, they do
not generate a charge. And that is not going to

(09:23):
change no matter how many wind turbines you build. The
rules of physics are going to apply. And I tell people,
awesome often, if five times zero is zero, five hundred
thousand times zero is not a more noble zero, right,
It is not a more glorious, It is not a
more progressive. It is still flipping zero. And the answer

(09:46):
to the green challenge is they say, well, we need
to build more, right, we need more wind and solar,
But it's not going to change the fact of physics
and of weather. And you know, your horrible storms a
couple of years ago, which killed seventy five people. Doesn't
look like they have been as bad this time. Congrats,
but I guarantee you it's gonna happen again. Right, Texas

(10:09):
is not protected against winter storms. It's gonna happen again,
and your wind and solar is not going to solve it.
So the fact that we are building weather dependent systems
for electricity is insanity, and it's also quite frankly criminal

(10:29):
to a certain extent, because we know the laws of physics,
and yet our politicians continue to build these stupid things
just so they can tell people, you know what, We've
invested record amounts in wind and solar, but laws of
physics don't change, you know.

Speaker 4 (10:46):
I'm glad you brought up the February twenty twenty one
Texas winter storm, because Daniel, it was the next thing
I was going to ask you about. February twenty twenty one,
we started having a record called in Texas. Not quite
what we've had this week, but this is actual worse
this time, I think in terms of snow and that
sort of thing. But at the time a few years back,
our grid shut down. We did not have enough power

(11:08):
for all the heaters and the you know this and
that around the state, and somebody from the I think
it was the Austin Statesman, a newspaper in the Austin,
Texas area, contacted the grid operators and they said what happened.
And one of them said, we've been at this time
of the year. We were not expecting this cold. We're
relying mostly on wind turbines for power, and the wind
turbines are not winterized, so they're shutting down and that's

(11:31):
the reason why the grid is failing. Immediately, immediately liberals
bend over backwards. They say, that's not true. That man
is a liar. The guy isn't a politician or anything.
He's just telling you what happened. Fast forward a few years, right,
those same people that for the last three or four
years now been telling us, oh, yeah, you know, Republicans
can't be in charge of Texas anymore. Look at what

(11:52):
happens when there's a winter storm to the power grid.
Now those same people are telling you, don't politicize the
wildfires in South Cali. How dare you use this weather
related tragedy to shoot layups on a political talking point.

Speaker 3 (12:06):
That's exactly what they did.

Speaker 4 (12:08):
And I like, fine, it's what about ism, Daniel, But
it's I still notice and it annoys me.

Speaker 5 (12:15):
Oh absolutely, And I think that's starting to come to
an end. And I think one of the great things
that Donald Trump has done for our country but also
for the right writ large, is that he's given them
a backbone, and he's stiffened their spying and he's made
them say, oh no, I'm calling out bs. I'm not
putting up with this crap anymore. Every time Florida has

(12:36):
a hurricane, the response for the last three Republican governors
is Republican governors denying climate change risk the lives of Floridians.
The hurricanes keep coming, you know, same with what happened
in Texas. You know, in transigent Republican climate deniers cause
death in Mayhem. But when California burns down for poor mismanagement,

(12:57):
it's like, hey, hey, hey, hey, let's not talk Paulics.
You know, people's lives are at stake. So you're absolutely
right pointing out the hypocrisy. The Texas windstorm things are
one of you know how everyone has an issuer too
that gets under their skin and you almost don't want
to talk about it. Because it's just like, oh, don't
mention this at dinner, because you're going to set that off.

(13:17):
The Texas windstorms are one of those issues for me
that make me so angry. I almost become illogical. I
couldn't possibly become illogical, but I become unhinged, like like
a Lesbian bishop episcopalian at a Trump prayer service. I
become unhinged in my rhetoric because we still talk about
this as if it were some fault of Texas, of

(13:41):
the governor, of the fossil fuel industry, you know, to
qualify for more green credits, because everything is green credits, right,
to get your green credits. So many natural gas facilities
were using wind powered pumps because that makes them more green.
And then when the wind dies, the pumps don't work,

(14:02):
and the response, well, of course natural gas wasn't even working.
You know why natural gas wasn't working, bonehead, because the
wind wasn't working right. And this is one of those
things that it bothers me so much because seventy five
I think people died faceless, nameless, powerless. It's like the
videos were seeing of these J six prisoners who are

(14:23):
finally getting their face on TV as they're being released,
and you find out that their marine vets, that their dads,
that their grandmothers, that and now they finally have a
name and a face with the tragedy that has been
pushed upon them for politics. Seventy five of your fellow
Texans whose names nobody knows. No one built a statue,

(14:45):
No one looted downtown Austin like they did for Lord
George George Floyd. No one did anything, No one. They're
just nameless, faceless victims of the agenda. And they say, yeah,
that's too bad. Wow, that's tragic. Lot people died. But
you know what, We've got to continue to believe in
wind because our liberal beliefs are going to change the

(15:07):
immutable laws of physics. So I have to stop before
I start.

Speaker 3 (15:12):
No, No, you're making a lot of great point. I got it.

Speaker 4 (15:16):
We just took a left turn there because you put
touched on something I haven't discussed yet on the show
this afternoon. We talked about it on the morning show.
But can we get back to energy policy in just
a second. I want to get your reaction to this.
For those that don't know, I always thought this shows
how ignorant I am about Christian sex outside of Catholicism.
I always thought the Episcopal Church, that's the prodident, it's

(15:37):
the Anglican Communion Church, it's it's the British people's version
of Catholicism. At least that's what I thought. And yesterday
they have this butch Lesbian at an Episcopal Mass or
whatever they call it, National Prayer service, and she starts
talking about how trans kids are terrified for their lives
in front of the President during a religious service in

(15:57):
a Christian church.

Speaker 2 (16:02):
In the name of our God.

Speaker 3 (16:04):
Uh huh, I ask you.

Speaker 2 (16:06):
To have mercy upon the people in our country who
are scared.

Speaker 3 (16:11):
Now scared.

Speaker 2 (16:14):
There are gay, lesbian, and transgender children in Democratic, Republican
and independent families, some who fear for their lives.

Speaker 4 (16:26):
The reason that some of them fear for their lives
isn't because of anything Donald Trump said. It's because of
the things they're hearing from people like this. These people
make a living scaring people. What just happened yesterday at
the National Prayer this is demonic. Daniel Frankly, it's absolutely
disgusting that this happened yesterday at a Christian church on

(16:47):
the national stage.

Speaker 3 (16:49):
Who allowed this to take place, you.

Speaker 5 (16:52):
Know, as she is the bishop of the National Cathedral,
and this is part of the tradition of the inauguration.
I'm sure they are just following the tradition. I wouldn't
be surprised if they got a commitment from her in advance.
The Trump team did that. This is just a prayer service.
This is in politics. But liberals cannot not interject politics

(17:14):
in everything they do, right, because it is their religion.
And what fascinates me about the secular, progressive Christian left,
you know, just the way the left co opts the
energy industry, the way they've co opted all of academia,
the way they've co opted Hollywood, the way they've co
opted the Boy Scouts. Right, they take over great institutions,

(17:35):
the FBI, and they infiltrate it, and they bring their
agenda to it and destroy within. It's what the left
has always done. They've done so to the Church and
all branches of Christianity. And proof of that is how
little her holiness, the bishop talks about the you know,
something like Jesus. She doesn't talk about God. God. God

(17:58):
is God is an afterthought, right, It's like the It's like,
you know, when people say I don't care if my
son has a gay science teacher, of course not. But
when science class is nothing but rainbow flags and diversity
and sex toys, you're like, you know what, I got
a little bit of a problem because we're not talking
about science. All we talk about is this person's sex life.

(18:20):
And that's weird. And they do this to religion as well.
We don't talk about God anymore in the Catholic Church,
and I'm a Catholic has a lot of bishops who
are just as guilty. And their sermons are about immigrants,
and their sermons are about climate change. And you say,
there's a lot of there's an awful lot of room
for Jesus in this church, isn't there? But no, Jesus

(18:42):
is not the purpose of religion, just like science is
not the perfect of these purpose of science class. Liberalism is.
And these activists seek these positions, whether it's bishopric or
whether it's science professor, for the sole purpose of injecting
poison onto children. And that's why they become Boy Scout leaders.

(19:02):
They don't do it because they love nuts and they
love teaching people how to make a fire. They do
it because they have to interject their poison onto children.
And we're making a change now with this administration to
eliminate these people from positions of power because they have
to be, because they are destroying what's left of Western society.

Speaker 3 (19:26):
Can you hang in do a quick segment with us.

Speaker 4 (19:28):
We went long on this, but I haven't had a
chance to ask you yet about our incoming EPA secretary.
There's a lot of things happening in the world of
energy we haven't touched on to you. Do one more
quick segment with Daniel Turner's here from Powerthefuture dot com.
There is a lot to discuss this week, including the
possibility of getting out of the Paris Climate Accord Senate,

(19:49):
climate hawks, going after and grilling the potential head of
the EPA on reducing emissions, lots more, Lee Zelden, We've
got to talk about all that.

Speaker 3 (19:56):
Don't go anywhere. We'll be right back.

Speaker 4 (19:58):
This is Biney sent and you are listening to the
Pursuit of Happiness Radio. Now give me all of your money,
because that's the only thing that's fair.

Speaker 2 (20:12):
Dreams can be realized in a given legislative session or
a presidential term, not even in a generation, which is
to say, not everyone's specific prayers. For those of us
who are people of prayer, not everyone's prayers will be answered.

Speaker 3 (20:31):
In the way we would like.

Speaker 6 (20:34):
But for some.

Speaker 2 (20:36):
The loss of their hopes and dreams will be far
more than political defeat, but instead a loss of equality
and dignity.

Speaker 4 (20:47):
Yesterday, a woman who tries very hard to look like
a man spoke at the National Prayer Service at the
National Cathedral about the need for defending the rights of
trans kids and illegal immigrants and that sort of thing.
She didn't get the note. Apparently this is now very
unpopular in America. But there is good news, my friends.

(21:08):
I don't know if it's my place to talk about
this on the air or not, but okay, most people
listen to the show.

Speaker 6 (21:15):
No.

Speaker 3 (21:15):
I'm a Catholic.

Speaker 4 (21:15):
I go to Catholic church right down the street from
this radio station, and the religious leaders at my church,
the Catholic priests, are very excited to have an incoming
administration that does not investigate traditional Catholics for attending Latin Mass.
You hear about all these groups, these what are they ngngos,
non government organizations getting public funding, and it's almost always

(21:37):
some group with the word Catholic in the title, and
then they're bringing illegal immigrants over the border and giving
them lunchables and caprice sons. And I don't know how
many people realize this, but those are those are not
actually people that are doing the bidding of what most
traditional American Catholics want. That's not what most of us want,
just like most people in the energy industry don't want

(21:58):
to have the habinet picks that politicize their their job
for them. We have a great opportunity here right now
for the energy industry in Texas to do something about
how broken our system has become. Former New York GOP
Representative Lee Zelden gave an anti fossil fuel speech to

(22:19):
the Democrats in Senate this week. He gave him the
opportunity to scrutinize what Zelden does, and I got to
think he's going to get confirmed, but it was. It's
been very contentious the back and forth between Lee Zelden
and some of the Democrats in our Senate this week.
Daniel Turner's on the line right now, Daniel Turner from
Power of the Future. Have you had a chance to

(22:39):
look at what's going on with Lee Zelden?

Speaker 5 (22:42):
Oh yes. And I wasn't able to attend his hearing
because simultaneously was Doug Bergham's hearing, and he's up for
a Secretary of Interior. I had to choose. I chose
Interior because a little more related to the work that
Power the Future does is the Department of But I
watched Lee's after the fact, the recording that was available

(23:05):
by the committee, and you know nothing. I what I
will say I was most surprised at is how few
protesters there were. It was bitterly cold, so you know,
no one protests climate change in the cold. Right. You
laid down in traffic in June. You know, you know,
lay down in traffic in January. Right, it's too cold, and.

Speaker 4 (23:25):
It doesn't really make the point about global warming if
it's snowing.

Speaker 3 (23:28):
Out, it does not.

Speaker 5 (23:32):
But you know, they have to throw out all the
stops because their climate God is being killed. Climate change
is breathing its last gas, and it has to because
the government money is going to dry up and the
government mandates are going to dry up.

Speaker 2 (23:45):
Right.

Speaker 5 (23:45):
There was the mandate to get rid of the electric vehicle,
the mandate to shut down coal plants. You know coal,
I tweeted this Just the other day, coal plants in
Texas were firing on all phonders. It was nearly twenty
percent of the state's electricity yesterday. Because wind and solar
were basically nonexistent, Your Great States electricity consumption didn't drop right.

(24:11):
People still wanted to put on their heater, They still
wanted to put on their electric blanket. Just their power
sources dried up, and so we turned on coal. The
EPA is the administration under the Biden world that was
trying to get rid of coal, shut it down nationwide.
So it wasn't surprising that Lee's Elden's was a hostile process.

(24:32):
I do think he'll get confirmed, though I agree with you,
I think he'll get confirmed.

Speaker 4 (24:35):
There was one interesting moment where Bernie Sanders phone rang
in the middle of the hearing and interrupted Lee's Elden's
confirmation hearing.

Speaker 6 (24:42):
So I will make I know that this is an
important priority of you and solar power.

Speaker 3 (24:47):
Sorry, that's okay, almost say the bill that was the
fossil fuel industry. Come on, that's pretty funny.

Speaker 4 (24:57):
But Bernie's phone and he said it was the fossil
fuel industry.

Speaker 5 (25:03):
But Bernie's state though, was a wonderful example of the
lies of the green industry, of the green economy, is
that they will tell you Vermont has a fracking band.
It absolutely does. It is illegal to frack in Vermont.
There's nothing to frack there. Right. It would be like saying,
you know in your house, you know there's a ban

(25:24):
on wheat farming. You're like, well, yeah, because I don't
really want to plant wheat in my backyard. Right. So
there's a fracking band in Vermont. But Vermont gets an
enormous amount of its electricity what they call from insourcing
because they buy it from Canada. And what do they
burn on the other side of that magical line of
the Canadian American border marijuana? So Vermont can say like,

(25:51):
we burn absolutely no coal in Vermont. We are coal free. Well,
there you are, but you buy that coal from other states.
California is just as guilty, right. They import so much
of their electricity from neighboring states where they burn coal.
Wyoming is the largest coal producer in the nation, and
they're providing coal for all of these major cities around

(26:13):
that are like, we have a ban on coal, we
just buy it from Wyoming at a premium. So it's
all just a big shell game, Kenny. And this is
the stuff where you just get so annoyed because then
you sit before these idiot congress people who pretend to
rend their garments and they scream about the climate and
they talk about the threat of global warming, and you

(26:34):
realize it's all just a joke. All the numbers, all
the stats, it's all just games and lies. And aren't
we above games and lies? Aren't we too old? But
not DC.

Speaker 4 (26:45):
Unlesser known POB, a blog that does watchdog stuff about
spending called Against Crony Capitalism, published a report earlier this
month talking about how our federal government gave fifty billion
dollars in tax funds to climate groups over the last

(27:06):
few years. Nick Sarentino published the report, said it was
like throwing gold bars off the Titanic. Is it really
as bad as this guy's making it sound?

Speaker 5 (27:16):
Yes, And that's why in one of the numerous executive
orders President Trump signed shortly after his wearing in was
the ending of this spending, but also the investigation into
those groups who received the money. This is something how
the future has been focused on aggressively for the last
couple of years because you know, I don't want to

(27:37):
just package a little something and go on you know,
Fox News and say look at this. You know, I
we're packaging this to bring it to legal entities, right
the Department of Justice, the Senate and House oversight committees,
because I think a lot of laws have been broken
what the Department of Justice did under the guys, especially

(27:59):
of environment mental justice. Because as soon as you talk
about race, everyone shuts up, right, they all put their
head down. And that's why the left always talks about race,
because it makes us uncomfortable. Heck, they're even sine told
episodes where they joke like should we be talking about this?
And they all stop talking. So to to push the
climate agenda, they just interject race and they say, we

(28:19):
are giving out grants to climate justice groups, and these
climate justice groups are gonna take that money, and all
they're going to do is sue. They're gonna sue Texas
oil and gas companies, They're gonna sue the utility, They're
gonna sue, and they're gonna sue the Trump administration. And
they already have started to sue the Trump administration. We
funded these groups with taxpayer dollars. It is it is.

(28:43):
There is a I'm getting angry again, Kenny. There is
so much bs that Di Biden administration did to poison
our country. We are literally scratching the surface. I mean,
just we haven't even begun to uncover the hundreds of
billions of dollars of waste, not just because some people

(29:03):
wanted to get rich, like his scumbag brother, you know,
with his fake contracts who got a pardon, right, And
not just about stealing money, but about destroying the fabric
of our country by setting up fake businesses, fake nonprofits,
structural damage to this country. And it's why I can't

(29:25):
wave goodbye to Bite and say, you know what, he
was a public servant. My loathing for that man will
never come to an end. And he didn't get a pardon,
and I would love to see him just an immoral evil.
I have to stop, Kenny. I'm gonna curse heyer that
you can't imagine.

Speaker 4 (29:46):
I think I agree with everything you said. I think
you explained it perfectly. One more quick question here. I
remember Trump got us out of that Paris climate accord.
I don't know how many people remember what this is
or why this mattered, but it does matter. Actually, This
is equity based energy policies that basically say America is
too developed to have the advantages of carbon energy as

(30:09):
they describe it. But China, they say, is still a
developing country. They shouldn't have the same rules apply to them.
Real quick, here, we only got in a minute or two
left thoughts on the Paris Climate Agreement.

Speaker 3 (30:20):
It's time to pull out.

Speaker 5 (30:21):
Right this absolutely, and I was glad President sign this
executive order on day one. There's a brilliant exchange between
the incoming Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent with Ron Wyden, Senator
from Oregon, who's a huge climate activist. And Ron Wyden
is screaming about the climate, climate change and the race
for green energy. There's a green energy race and America

(30:43):
has to win. And Scott Beissen said Senator China is
going to build one hundred coal plants this year. There
is not a green energy race. There's an energy race.
The Paris Climate Accords tell America you have to shut
down coal, but they tell China, hey, you guys op
in coal. And with all the coal factories they're opening,
they're building the very crappy wind and solar that are useless, right,

(31:06):
now in Texas, so that Texas politicians can say, look
at us, we went green. You have shut down thousands
of megawatts of coal plants in Texas to buy crappy
wind and solar from communist China that works fifteen percent
of the time and costs three hundred percent more. And
they and they give themselves awards and call themselves green

(31:29):
climate awareness. That's the games. Those are the games that
are coming to an end. Thank god.

Speaker 4 (31:35):
My brother Daniel Turner Powerthefuture dot com. Check it out today,
follow him on X You'll be glad you did a
lot of great information, especially if you work in the
energy industry.

Speaker 3 (31:43):
That's a lot on the.

Speaker 5 (31:44):
Lyric he look, you just such a fie hole and
keep working.

Speaker 3 (31:47):
Back to the pursuit of happiness Radio The Happiness Send
Great Liberty.

Speaker 4 (31:57):
Chuck Schumer, you're Chuck Schumer. He used to be really important.
Chuck Schumer says Democrats can't stop Trump's cabinet picks. For
a list of more things democrats can't stop. Google everything. Hi,
welcome back, folks. I'm Kenny Webster. And before we're done,
it's always important to remind you this is a Texas
based radio show. When news breaks in Texas. We analyze it,

(32:21):
we look at it. There's a lot going on right
now in and around the state. But I can't think
anything is quite as pressing in the Lone Star State.
Is what is going on at our border right now?
Tom Homan is your borders are. When you hear Tom
Homan on the news, sometimes you feel like you're hearing
him say things we've heard before. We've got to secure
the border. We've got criminals in the country. We're giving

(32:43):
them free lunch and hotel rooms even though they're murdering us.
But earlier today on Fox News he said something different,
something new. Now things are changing.

Speaker 5 (32:53):
What would a person have to do to get a
visit from Ice.

Speaker 7 (32:59):
The UN the country I lately, First of all, I mean,
there's nothing in the immigration law says you got to
be convicted of a serious crime to be removed under
the INNA. So if in the country illegally, ICE can
visit you. But right now, as we said repeading, the
President trust been clear, we're concentrating on the worst first,
the public safety threats, and that's security threats. And just yesterday,

(33:20):
in the last twenty four hours, is rustled over three
hundred and eight three hundred and eight serious criminals. Some
of them were murders, some of them were rapul.

Speaker 3 (33:27):
Who wha, wha, wha, whoa, whoa whoa.

Speaker 4 (33:28):
Guys, We're a little more than twenty four hours into
the Trump's presidency here, and we have already arrested hundreds
of illegal aliens and lots of other big changes are
happening as well. You know who's keeping track of them.
One of my favorite journalists, Brandon Wilms, is on the
line right now from Texas scorecard dot com. Brandon, some
issues key border security executive actions, walk us through some

(33:51):
of the changes.

Speaker 6 (33:53):
Yeah, this is a really big deal. I mean, it
was no sooner that Trump, you know, said the oath.
I think probably while they're playing Commander, Hail to the
Chief for the first time and doing battle him of
the Republic that you saw immediately sweeping shifts in how
the federal government is dealing with the border, namely shutting

(34:16):
down immediately the CBT one app, which essentially was a
phone app that allowed migrants coming across to set up,
you know, appointments wherever they were so they could come
across and be let into the country. That app's been
taken down we were talking before. I mean, people have
seen maybe these clips they're trying to show these people

(34:38):
crying and whaling that you know, they had their their
one thirty appointment on Monday and it got canceled, and
you know, you can't help but think, you know, we
had four years of an open border under Joe Biden.
Maybe they should have come, you know, any time before then.
It was a little bit like waiting until the last
and in it, I'm not sure what they thought was

(34:58):
going to happen there. But in addition to that, you
of course at President Trump signing into signing a number
of executive orders dealing with things like declaring a national
emergency at the border, allowing federal troops to go help
repel legal aliens coming across. And the one that's grabbing
a lot of attention is his executive order to end
birthright citizenship.

Speaker 3 (35:19):
Birth right citizenship aka anchor Babies. Now, I don't know
how many people are aware of this. I assume most
of our listeners are pretty well educated.

Speaker 4 (35:28):
But just in case anyone out there doesn't know the
Constitution right, we added this amendment in there to free
the slaves and to make a point that you're a
citizen if you were born in America, you know, you're
not a slave anymore. You're a citizen of the country.
And after people reinterpreted what that meant, sort of a
legal loophole, if you will, people realize, now the slaves

(35:50):
have all been they have their citizenship, they're all dead
at this point, that was over one hundred years ago.
But maybe since that law is still on the book,
we could use it to help nationalize. We could give
citizenship to illegal immigrants.

Speaker 3 (36:04):
So women, pregnant women walked over the border, and then
the anchor baby idea was born. Now there are people that.

Speaker 4 (36:16):
Get really offended when we play that sound effect, even
though that's not even really a baby crying.

Speaker 3 (36:20):
I think it's a synthesizer.

Speaker 4 (36:21):
But for the record, if that sound effect offends you,
and the anchor baby policies don't, maybe people are losing
the point, missing the point.

Speaker 3 (36:28):
Brandon.

Speaker 5 (36:31):
Exactly.

Speaker 6 (36:32):
You know, by the way, the people who are saying, well,
you know, this will be challenged. There's also some backup coming.
It saw that Congressman from here in Texas, Brian Babbin,
has actually filed a bill to end birthright citizenship as well.
And stop these anchor babies. You know, of course this
is going to be put in the court. Who knows
what a court's going to do. But I think that,

(36:55):
you know, this is a refreshing change. We're actually seeing
some action being taken on these issues after so long,
after you know, what has seemed like a very long
four years of complete lawlessness of the order.

Speaker 3 (37:08):
Yeah.

Speaker 4 (37:08):
Brian Babin is a Texas lawmaker the thirty six congressional district.
He's been around for a while now. As a matter
of fact, he's from the same part of the state
as Dade Failin, if I'm not mistaken out in the
Beaumont Port Arthur area. A little bit more effective as
a lawmaker than I mean, Brian.

Speaker 3 (37:24):
I'm sure.

Speaker 4 (37:25):
I think I've criticized him in the past. I kind
of remember, but I don't remember right off the top
of my head what he did that I didn't like.
But all that being said, I do like this. I
think this is great. The executive order can be challenged
in court. But I got to think if we pass
a law saying people are misinterpreting the you know, the
Constitution and what we say about the slavery so that

(37:48):
they can use it for something else that feels like
it would hold up in court.

Speaker 6 (37:53):
I would take so. I mean, look, I'm not a lawyer,
but you know, sounds right to me. And I think
that when you look at when you can buy this right,
I think, I think that's a big deal. But when
you combine it right with the with the order to
declare an emergency to declare uh, you know another thing,
declaring these foreign terrorists, these foreign cartels as terrorist organizations,
you know, that's a big deal. That puts a lot

(38:14):
of tools in the federal governments toolbox to be able
to go after these cartels that are bringing drugs and
people into the country. There's just a ton that they're
doing right there. And you know, on one hand, I
will say it's it's it's sort of frustrating to to
see what's been happening over the last couple of days
in d C. With with Trump moving in and immediately

(38:37):
you know, making good on all these conservative promises, and
yet you know, people it might be easy forget, but
we've got a legislative session right here in Texas where
unfortunately Republicans, you know, a minority of Republicans but have
joined up with with Democrats essentially to to try to
stop conservative priorities as their first order of busines this

(39:00):
last week.

Speaker 3 (39:01):
Yeah, I'm glad you brought that up. What's the latest
in Austin right now?

Speaker 4 (39:04):
Since we got our hackish house speaker basically date basically
Dennis bond in three point zero is our new house speaker.

Speaker 6 (39:13):
Yeah, yes, well that, you know, since they had that
vote last week. The next set in the boxes is
for the House to vote on rules, which normally would
have taken place you know, usually takes place of the
day after maybe maybe the day after that, you know, Wednesday, Thursday. Instead,
it's been pushed back. It's actually going to be voted

(39:33):
on tomorrow likely that's where it's scheduled for now, so
over a week into the session they'll be voting on
the rules, which is much later than it is standard
to happen. Part of that it was supposed to happen,
you know, they had delayed it to today and then
and moved that just so people could get back from
some of the inclement weather we had in parts of

(39:54):
the state. But they're going to have that vote, and
the big vote that will take place then that we're
expecting is you know, there'll be a vote on whether
or not Democrats conservi as committee chairs. Now Dustin Burrows
the new Speaker of the House, he could just not
appoint Democrats as committee chairs regardless. That's sort of the
easier way, right is to put a speaker in who
won't appoint Democrats' committee chairs. But give nim that he's

(40:16):
been he's gotten in and you know, has not really
said whether or not he will do that. There will
be an effort, I believe in the rules tomorrow for
Republicans to vote and to have the opportunity to ban
the minority party from sharing committees, just like we see
in virtually every other Republican state that does not share

(40:36):
power with with Democrats. It'll be interesting to see how
this vote breaks down. You know, you did have a
minority of Republicans join with Democrats, like I said, to
install Dustin Burrows a speaker, and we'll see whether or
not another minority of Republicans joins up with Democrats in
an attempt to keep Democrats in charge of committees as well.

(40:57):
But you know, all of this is just like I said,
it's so crazy to be talking about this. You know,
I'm talking about this and then on the other hand,
I'm seeing you know, on TV, Twitter, et cetera, and
you're seeing what's happening in d C with you know,
with the inauguration of President Trump and the House and
the Senate up there getting to work. You know, I
think they're passing the Lincoln Riley Act later today and

(41:20):
getting to work on this. It really is an unfortunately
strong contrast between the two chambers right now.

Speaker 3 (41:27):
Yeah, very different.

Speaker 4 (41:28):
One of the things I was most shocked about is
Trump designating Trenda Arragua as a terrorist group.

Speaker 3 (41:34):
And you know, just my luck. I just joined yesterday.
Now I'm a terrorist.

Speaker 6 (41:40):
Yeah, that's probably probably a bad decision.

Speaker 3 (41:43):
Yeah, I guess it was bad timing.

Speaker 4 (41:45):
In other news today, I don't know how many people
are aware of this, the Planned Parenthood president is actually
the eldest daughter uh former Texas Governor Ann Richards, longtime
CEO of Planned Parenthood, Cecil Richards, just died. The Texas
Tribune says, this is sad news, Brandon, But I don't know.

Speaker 3 (42:04):
Isn't she just a clumpus cells?

Speaker 7 (42:07):
Yeah?

Speaker 6 (42:08):
Isak. I thought it was the battle on the head headline.

Speaker 3 (42:11):
I thought it was perfect.

Speaker 4 (42:12):
You, I mean Obviously, we feel bad when anyone dies,
but I don't wish any harm on her.

Speaker 3 (42:19):
But she did tell.

Speaker 4 (42:20):
