Speaker 1 (00:00):
That gan of government sucks. The suit of happiness radios
do us Liberty and freedom will make you smile, or
a suit of happen and us on your radio toel justice, cheeseburgers,
a liberty Rise at food.
Speaker 2 (00:16):
Us, McDonald's unveiled an all new adult happy meal. Yeah,
it's basically just a fifth of Scotch. Hi, everybody, thanks
so much for being here. If you're wondering what the
heck is going on in Austin, State Representative Steve Toath
will be joining us in a few minutes, stick around.
(00:38):
He is like, I endorsed him for a reason. I
think Steve is one of the only honest, principled conservatives
in the Texas state legislature. He'll be joining us in
just a little bit. He is going to answer some
of your questions about what's going on in Illinois, who's
funding this nonsense, what's the end goal, will the congressional
redistricting actually happen, and of course very important questions like
(01:00):
what the and don't forget huh. We'll get to all
that very soon. Speaking of what the and huh? You
know else is here? A good friend of mine, really
funny guy, Alex Stein one of my fellow right wing
conservative Texas comedians. We are part of a small call
to brethren, if you will, a tribe of right wing,
red pilled based comics doing politically incorrect humor for an
(01:22):
audience like you.
Speaker 3 (01:22):
I love that.
Speaker 2 (01:23):
Speaking of y'all, know, I'm going to be in Hattiesburg,
Mississippi this weekend Friday night at Bruce Skis with my
boy Jesse Payton. It's a couple's themed comedy show, but
single people are obviously invited. You know, We've done two
comedy sh shows tours we've been doing recently. One of
them is the Right Side of Comedy. It's a red
pilled right wing comedy tour we do with Chad Prather.
(01:43):
And then we're doing this other comedy tour that's more
about love and romance and divorce and relationships and dating
apps and that kind of thing. So anyway, that's all
going down Friday night at Bruski's in Hattiesburg.
Speaker 3 (01:54):
Then Saturday night we're going to be at Denham Springs.
Speaker 2 (01:57):
In Denham Springs, it's a I guess it's a very affluent,
d white suburb of Baton Rouge.
Speaker 3 (02:01):
I am told, I don't know how affluent it is actually.
Speaker 2 (02:04):
But that's where we're gonna be, and we're gonna be
at a place called Southern Rhythm.
Speaker 3 (02:07):
So come hang out with us there. That'll be a
ton of fun.
Speaker 2 (02:09):
In the meantime, here is the latest Donald Trump feuding
with Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer over the Democrats' refusal
to confirm his nominees. This, I think is probably the
most pressing news of the day. Trump's comments came after
Republicans and Democrats, we're having this feud in the Senate
over the confirmation and so Donald Trump takes to truth
(02:31):
so social that's easy for you to say, and he said,
you put it in the perfect words only Donald Trump
could explain, and I'll do my best Donald Trump.
Speaker 3 (02:40):
It was like this.
Speaker 2 (02:43):
Politically embattled senator cry and check. Schumer wants the Republicans
to pay as extortion two billion dollars in order for
the radical left Democrats to approve the hundreds of Trump
appointments who've been waiting for months and are raring to go.
This is it's never happened before. There's never in US
history been such a delay. They are extortionists. Republicans must
(03:07):
create legislation in order to get out of the grass.
These country hating thugs move quickly, mega mega.
Speaker 3 (03:16):
End quote. I'm sure you already figure that out.
Speaker 4 (03:18):
Now.
Speaker 2 (03:18):
The standoff in the Senate started right after Trump took office.
Republicans currently hold a fifty three to forty seven majority
in the upper chambers, so the presidential nominees for executive
and judicial roles, they typically require Senate confirmation with a
simple majority vote.
Speaker 3 (03:34):
This should be done by now. We should be over with.
Speaker 2 (03:36):
This problem is the Democrats are taking advantage of certain
procedural tactics they're trying to hold up the Trump nominations.
Speaker 3 (03:43):
And what these include is things like.
Speaker 2 (03:46):
Extended debates, you know, sort of a light version of
filibustering objections to unanimous consent. Right now, there are over
and this is wild to me. One hundred and forty
nominees pending one hundred and thirty even firm we're still
waiting on one hundred and forty seriously, So the Republicans
are obviously slamming the Democrats over their refusal to confirm.
(04:07):
And by the way, this isn't just about what, you know,
what the Democrats want, what the Republicans want the Republicans
won the last election for a reason, because it's what
we the people want. We voted for these people, we
asked for this. We're not getting what we voted for.
That it's about his un America's gets. The Democrats hate you,
they hate me, They hate Donald Trump, they hate the red,
(04:29):
white and blue flag that we salute.
Speaker 3 (04:32):
They hate the country. So act accordingly.
Speaker 5 (04:36):
That's a I look, you just such a pie hole
and keep working.
Speaker 3 (04:40):
Back to the Pursuit of Happiness Radio.
Speaker 2 (04:43):
The Happiness Slip.
Speaker 3 (04:50):
Chili's. Chili's is always fine.
Speaker 2 (04:52):
Apparently the restaurant Shane is selling cowboy boots made from
the material used in their booths. Meanwhile, Arby's is selling
roast beef made from old cowboy boots.
Speaker 3 (05:03):
That's probably delicious.
Speaker 2 (05:04):
Hi, everybody, welcome back from break A full show this afternoon.
Lots of Texas oriented news. Comedian Alex Stein coming up
in just a little bit. I don't know if you
saw him crashing an MSNBC broadcast earlier this week at
the Texas State Capitol. He also gave some testimony on
transgenders and sports, among other things. We'll get to that
shortly before we get to any of that, and a
(05:24):
lot of you are probably wondering what the heck is
going on in Austin with Texas congressional redistricting. We had
jokingly suggested that all these Texas Democrats who fled the
state right now to go hang out in Chicago. Well,
we we accurately pointed out that they're hypocrites because they
left the most conservative state in America to go to
(05:45):
the most jerrymandered state in America, and then when they
got there, they tried to make some point about how
Texas is to jerrymandered. I'm sure you've all seen the
congressional districts in Illinois. It's much worse. And some had
pointed out that in Texas, squatters can gain legal ownership
of a property through adverse possession. I jokingly suggested that
(06:05):
we could get homeless people to move into the fancy
houses of all the Democrat lawmakers who went to Texas.
Speaker 3 (06:11):
That was a joke. We're not actually going to do that.
Speaker 2 (06:13):
People got mad about it, and I got some death threats,
But it's okay. I'm not I'm fine, I'm not offended.
I don't think anybody actually thought that was going to happen.
I don't think anybody actually thought that was a serious thing.
But in the meantime, nothing's going on in Austin, and
I was surprised by that. You know, we can't do anything.
So I reached out to one of the only honest
people people that I know in state government. That would
(06:33):
be State Representative Steve Toath, currently a challenger primary challenger
to Dan Crenshaw, getting a lot of attention for his campaign,
but he's got a handful of fights in Austin he
has to deal with before any of that happens next year.
Speaker 3 (06:47):
In the primary.
Speaker 2 (06:48):
State Representative Steve Toath, we were curious, first of all,
thanks for getting us some time this afternoon. What is
going on in the meantime? Are we actually going to
arrest Texas Democrats?
Speaker 3 (06:58):
Is that a real thing?
Speaker 2 (06:59):
Like?
Speaker 3 (06:59):
What's the way? Just on this?
Speaker 5 (07:02):
Come on, Kenny, now, why would we do that?
Speaker 3 (07:04):
Why?
Speaker 5 (07:05):
Why would you want to wreck the Democrats party? They're
having so much fun with this. Why would you want
to spoil it? You know, it's just insane.
Speaker 3 (07:15):
It didn't I didn't think we could legally do that. Can't,
Like I don't understand.
Speaker 5 (07:19):
Yes, but it's not it's not a criminal offense. It's
it's in the civil code, right, It's not in the
criminal code that you have to show up for work.
It's in the civil code. And so there's a civil
warrant that they are going to be issuing civil warrants. Now,
will they follow through on it or not? Probably not,
that's the problem. But what the talk is that if
(07:42):
they don't show up, here's they have been This has
not been reported the news. They've been told that on Friday,
if they don't show up that twelve of them, twelve
of them will be removed from their seats. And constitutionally,
we can do that. And if you don't show up,
then the governor has the ability and it's I think
(08:05):
it's executed by the OAG the Attorney General's office to
actually carry it out. And they're going to take it
right to the Texas Supreme Court, which instead of going
through a lower court and then it going all the
way up to the Supreme Court, they're going to take
it right to the Supreme Court. So yes, they can.
Speaker 3 (08:26):
Do it, all right.
Speaker 2 (08:27):
So Barack Obama, who is a sometimes resident of the
state of Illinois, is calling the Texas Republican Party redistricting
a power grab that undermines our democracy. Has former president
of Barack Obama never seen the congressional districts in Illinois,
I mean that's his home state.
Speaker 5 (08:43):
Yeah, Or even more appropriate, take a look at all
of New England. It's comprised of six states. Those six
states controlled twenty one congressional districts. Massachusetts alone controls nine
congressional districts, forty percent, forty three percent Republican. Not one
(09:06):
single Republican congressional district not in Massachusetts, not in the
sixth states of New England. It's it's it's and it's
not that solidly blue, you know, New Hampshire and again
Massachusetts forty three percent Republican, not one single congressional districts.
And so Trump Trump didn't come to us and say, hey, guys,
(09:30):
we want to hold on to Congress in the midterms.
What he did was he said, look at guys, here's
the reality. Here's the cold, hard reality. Play by the
same metrics, play by the same rules the Democrats are playing.
And he's saying that to all the red states, you
can't find a single red state, solidly red state that
(09:51):
does not have Democrat representation in Congress. It doesn't happen,
and Trump's like, this is ridiculous. Why are you guys
playing this way. The Democrats want to defeat us, they
want to kill us, they want to destroy us. They've
got their boot on the neck of Republican states. Let's
(10:14):
play with the same rules. That's all he's doing. And
I agree with him one hundred percent.
Speaker 3 (10:19):
I think it's a fair question.
Speaker 2 (10:20):
In the meantime, Texas State Representative Yolanda Jones, who fled
the state to go to Illinois, says that what you
and the other Republicans in the state of doing right
now is the equivalent of the Holocaust.
Speaker 6 (10:30):
And then integration happening. Everybody thought they accept this, They
don't accept this. They are showing us who they are.
We should believe in and we better have the curse
to stand up otherwise we will fall for anything. And
in this country we will be defeated, deported. I mean,
we will lose all of our rights. And if you
think it can't happen, it can. And I will liken
this to the Holocaust.
Speaker 3 (10:51):
People will like, well, she will li liken this to
the Holocaust.
Speaker 2 (10:53):
So in that short twenty minute SoundBite there, she says
that what is happening in Texas right now is racist
to black people. Wi's weird because one in three black
men voted for Donald Trump in the last election.
Speaker 3 (11:04):
But she also says it's the Holocaust.
Speaker 2 (11:06):
Stay representative, Steve Toath, if you don't want to address
this nonsense, I would understand, but I'd still love to
hear your response.
Speaker 5 (11:13):
She's projecting, she's projecting, they would like to take the Republicans.
You know, it's funny. They're the ones that say that
Republicans hate the First Amendment, yet we're the ones that
are being censored by them, right They're the ones that say, oh,
we just want to lock the Democrats up. No, you're
the ones that are locking the Republicans up. You're the
(11:35):
ones that are trying to have had tried to put
Donald Trump in jail for the better part of five years,
and I'm once Trump leaves office in two years and
a half years, you're gonna try and put them in
jail again. You know the thing I think that makes
most Republicans just insanely angry is we use this language
(11:57):
like lock her up, lock her up, lock her up,
and yet she never gets locked up. No one gets
locked up. They break the law. And now we've got
evidence now whistleblowers coming forward that they did, in fact,
try to obstruct the twenty twenty election. We know it,
and yet what are we doing about it. We've got whistleblowers,
(12:17):
we've got proof that they did this. Will anyone go
to jail?
Speaker 3 (12:20):
Kenny, No, No, No, they won't.
Speaker 1 (12:23):
No.
Speaker 2 (12:23):
It's a tale as old as time, Steve. I mean,
it kind of drives me nuts. When the Russian when
the Russian collusion investigations were going on, we kept asking questions.
We're like, well, where's the evidence, where's the absence? They
don't worry. The evidence is coming. Finally there was no evidence,
and then evidence started surfacing that this whole thing was rigged.
It's the same response every time they say, that was
a long time ago, don't worry about it.
Speaker 3 (12:45):
Guys.
Speaker 2 (12:45):
You just spent three years doing investigations on a scandal
you invented out of thin air. Now we're trying to
hold you responsible for doing that, and your response is
that this was too long ago.
Speaker 3 (12:55):
It's it's comical. Now.
Speaker 2 (12:57):
Earlier this week, Texas congressional candidate Isaiah Martin was arrested.
Or did this happen At the end of last week,
he showed up at a congressional hearing and he was
speaking out a turn And I don't know that he
was arrested so much as just attained and told to leave.
But this is the guy that wants to replace Shila
Jackson Lee and Sylvester Turner in the eighteenth congressional district.
He actually worked for Shila Jackson Lee, which means he's
(13:19):
one of the people that she described on that secret
recording as being a dumb idiot or an fop or
whatever it is that she said. Here is his plan
if we elect him. Go ahead, Isaiah.
Speaker 7 (13:29):
So you may remember last week Republicans threw me in jail.
But when I was in jail, I actually did a
town hall for the inmates, and one of the things
they were mad at was the cost of childcare.
Speaker 2 (13:38):
Now, I got to wonder here, Steve, when you make
a list of the priorities for your constituents, is free
childcare for prison inmates?
Speaker 3 (13:45):
Is that on the list anywhere?
Speaker 5 (13:47):
It's so ridiculous, right, It's that at anything. Pretty much
anything that they believe is necessary to them is a right.
So government from cradle gray government have to take care
of everything. I'm not responsible for anything. I don't have
to work, I don't have to be responsible. I can
(14:08):
walk into a store and rob it blind. It's it's
my right. I mean, it's just this is how morally
bankrupt we have become as a society that we are
not responsible for anything nothing.
Speaker 3 (14:22):
Who is voting for uh?
Speaker 4 (14:24):
Like?
Speaker 2 (14:24):
Who asked for this? Who said we need free child
care for inmates? How is that his leading issue? I mean,
that can't it's ridiculous. Before we run out of time here,
State Representative Steve Teeth on the line. You are in
a primary challenge now with Crenshawn. This has gotten a
lot of attention. There's a lot of people in that race,
but I think most people agree it's a two man race.
Speaker 3 (14:44):
It's you and him.
Speaker 2 (14:45):
It's nobody else, the other people, it's it's it's it's
it's entertaining and adorable that they're involved, but really it's
come down to you two and as proof as evidence
of that, he's already attacking you, and I mean his
criticism of you has been a bit absurd and ridiculous
so far.
Speaker 3 (14:59):
You're your votes on certain things.
Speaker 2 (15:01):
I don't know, I didn't understand it, but I'm just
curious how that's going for you and what you think
about his attacks on you.
Speaker 5 (15:08):
We are excited as can be because you know, I
told my staff, if he's not coming after me within
the first two or three months, we failed. And actually
it took him all almost two hours from the time
we announced that he started coming after me, which, hey,
we're getting under his skin. I'm digging it.
Speaker 8 (15:25):
I love it.
Speaker 5 (15:26):
This past week they said that I voted against or
I voted against spending forty seven billion dollars and in
protecting our border, which is a total and complete lie. Right,
No one's been better on the border than I have
with my record. But it's just they're going to continue
to lie, and they're going to continue to obtuscate the
(15:47):
truth because the guy's got a lot that he's got
to pick up for and we get it, and we're
just going to continue to hit him. But the exciting thing, Kenny,
is that this is turning into a national rate. So
you're seeing last night I got home and there's an
envelope waiting for me from a guy from Arkansas, Arkansas,
(16:09):
and he sent ten dollars to my campaign. He went
to Steve Steve Toe for Congress dot Com found my
address and he sent ten bucks from Arkansas and we
have seen these from Arizona, Wisconsin, Michigan. Republicans all over
(16:30):
the country are like, this guy's gotta go. He's just
gotta go. And it's just so it is so exciting.
Speaker 2 (16:37):
It seems like and I don't expect you to opine
about this for too long, but I'd love to get
your thoughts. It seems like on in real life there's
two candidates, it's you and Dan Crenshaw in that district race.
On social media, there's all these other people that are
trying to get money and it doesn't seem like it's working,
and they're trying to get followers.
Speaker 3 (16:54):
Earlier this year, we published a story.
Speaker 2 (16:56):
About how one of them was a woman with nine
aliases who was accused of big of me and as like, like,
there's a lot of politics attracts a lot of con artists, Steve,
and I just wonder what your thoughts are on that.
How do you how do you get people? The distractions
are so fervent and so so common these days.
Speaker 3 (17:14):
What can you do to combat that?
Speaker 5 (17:17):
You know, It's just the cool thing is that it's
pretty much. I think they're just doing it for clickbait,
right right, and they're doing it to, you know, improve
their social media standing because Crenchhaw has got some real
serious problems and so if you can kind of tap
into the fact that people don't like him and just
say a lot of stupid stuff on social media, you
(17:39):
gain followers. But thankfully it's not translating into support back
here in the race, and we're continuing to see that
and we're excited about that.
Speaker 2 (17:49):
I don't know the answer to this, because I you know,
the congressional districts are the new congressional districts are still
being proposed and discussed. But does the new congressional district
map affect your race at all?
Speaker 5 (18:00):
Tremendously? And it's so funny because if you look at
the Republicans in Congress, all their maps stayed, you know,
pretty much the same. And the map now is so
favorable towards me compared to what it was. It was
it was it was good before, and then it was
fifty five point five percent Montgomery County forty four points
(18:23):
five percent Harris County. He hates Montgomery County. He thinks
we're a bunch of whiners. And the reality is that
Montgomery County some of the most kind and decent people
you'll ever meet, and the people in Harris County are
wonderful too, but he has just refused to spend any
time up here to get to know the people of
Montgomery County. Well, it's gone from fifty five point five
(18:43):
percent Montgomery County to sixty three percent Montgomery County and
what's in Harris County is now split, so half it
in Harris County is brand new to him. It could
not have been any worse for him. So my heart breaks.
My heart breaks for him.
Speaker 2 (18:57):
Kenny, what do you think, What do you think Dan
Crenshaw does post political career lobbyist for military industrial I assume, yeah.
Speaker 5 (19:04):
I mean that's what they That's what these guys do,
and that's why they position themselves in Congress to be
these you know, to be the global elite war warmongers
that they are. It's they want to they want a job,
they want a lobbying job with a defense contractor. That's
(19:25):
what they live for, that's what they work for.
Speaker 2 (19:26):
Dan Crenshaw represents the ideology of the old Right. Steve Toath,
the ideology of the new Right. I think it's pretty
obvious who is the liberty loving populist candidate and who
is the candidate the elites prefer. Steve Toath state represented.
I'm so glad I endorse Steve. I think he's a
great candidate. Follow him online, Steve, what's your website?
Speaker 5 (19:47):
Steve Toath for Congress and to come and keep out.
Speaker 3 (19:50):
And people could donate today and volunteer and stuff. Right, Yes, yes, sir,
A very worthy use of your time and resources. Folks, quick, greick.
We'll be right back.
Speaker 2 (20:00):
This is Binney Santus and you are listening to the
Pursuit of Happiness Radio. Now give me all of your money,
because that's the only thing that's fair. Three thousand Boeing
workers are on strike. Apparently management left the door open
for negotiations. All right, technically the door fell off, but
you get the point.
Speaker 3 (20:19):
Everybody. Hi, Welcome back from break.
Speaker 2 (20:22):
Kenny Webster here Alex Stein joining us in just a
little bit. Alex Stein is a comedian and he runs
a TV show. He's got a little show that he
does called Primetime with Alex Stein on the Blaze TV.
Blaze TV and Independent Conservative News outlet quite popular. Many
big shows they produced their large audiences, and there's a
reason why. It's meritocracy. The reason they have all that
(20:44):
great talent at the Blaze is because they're able to
produce big audiences. Glenn Beck, one of our fellow station
mates here at k Percy, built a media empire after
he left Fox News. Very cool thing to do. I
think I don't have to agree with Glenn be on everything.
I think he's done more good than bad, that's for sure.
Probably agree with him on more than I don't. There's
(21:06):
a rumor today, and it appears to be pretty credible
that the Howard Stern Show on Serious XM satellite radio
is going to get canceled soon. And that doesn't surprise me.
What surprises me is that he was still doing a
show five hundred million dollar contract. That's absurd. Why would
they pay him that much money. Nobody talks about Howard
(21:26):
Stern anymore. He's not relevant. It seems odd that a
guy got paid that much money to do a show
for who who's listening to it? Kind Of like Colbert.
It doesn't make sense to keep something on the air
if it's too expensive and the general public doesn't like it.
Speaker 3 (21:43):
It has nothing to do with politics. But for the record,
Howard Stern is a liberal.
Speaker 2 (21:48):
Dribble, Howard Stern acts like a misogynist, sexist, whatever. But
then he's on the left, so it's almost like he's
pandering to right wing comedy enthusiasts by being politically incorrect.
Speaker 3 (21:59):
But he's a liberal. He's a lot of contradictions.
Speaker 2 (22:02):
He exists on a side of the political spectrum where
comedy is no longer allowed, and so obviously his show's
got to go away because where's the audience is that?
Does that sound like it's five hundred million dollars worth
of audience, No, it's probably not. Liberal media in general
is suffering right now. A new report today at Foxnews
dot com excuse me at Breitbart dot com reveals how
(22:23):
MSNBC and CNN are hemorrhaging viewers. You remember how when
Trump first got elected in twenty seventeen, for at least
a brief fleeting moment, CNN was relevant. A lot of
people were watching CNN for fear porn. They tuned in
for that four letter f word, fear, and they loved it.
But over the next four years, CNN broadcasted and shared
(22:46):
a lot of information that turned out to be erroneous
or untrue or just blatantly false, and so the audience
went away. And now it's Trump two point zero. You'd
think CNN or MSNBC would experience a similar re urgents
and ratings to what they got to eight years ago.
Speaker 3 (23:03):
No, not the case at all.
Speaker 2 (23:06):
Since a year ago, compared to this week last year,
MSNBC has lost forty percent of its viewers, CNN's lost
forty four percent. Fox News by the way, crushing them both.
Fox News doing vastly better than both of those networks.
The public got smarter. Resistance TV no longer sells like
(23:27):
it did in twenty seventeen. Just ask Stephen colebarn and
Howard Stern. The Fox News number is the one that
counts for It gives us context. Obviously, last year, during
a presidential election year, more people are tuned into cable news.
But compared to last year, Fox News ratings they're not
down much at all.
Speaker 3 (23:47):
Barely at all have they declined.
Speaker 2 (23:50):
Most of the audience is still there, whereas MSNBC and
CNN have lost almost half their audience. Fox News maybe
a tenth down since last year. It's pretty pathetic, kind
of embarrassing. The demo number is the metric that sets
advertising rates. No one in the demo is watching CNN
or MSNBC, So how do they sell advertising without the
(24:15):
left wing affirmative action a cable news carriage fees. CNN
is no longer in business, MSNBC slashing staff, the budget
is going away. It can't stay alive. Remember when they
used to have CNN in the airports. Remember when you
used to pay for CNN with your cable bundle but
you didn't even watch it.
Speaker 3 (24:33):
They still got money from you.
Speaker 2 (24:35):
CNN and Comedy Central and MTV and MSNBC and Bloomberg
and CNBC and all these other networks you never turned
on once, but you paid for them. Well, that was
the problem with the cable bundle, wasn't It was almost
like affirmative action for media consumption. You didn't watch, It
doesn't matter if you watch it, they still get a
piece of your monthly payment. That's why I encourage people
(24:57):
to cancel cable, get rid of satellite, move to versions
like Sling TV, where you just pay for the thing
you want to watch. You know, sustaining these fake news
outlets is just obvious that a lot of the money
they're getting seems to be coming from obnoxious pharmaceutical ads. Well,
now RFK Junior in discussion to cut and outlaw that stuff.
(25:18):
That's really going to hemorrhage the money over at CNN
and MSNBC.
Speaker 3 (25:22):
Believe me, we can.
Speaker 2 (25:23):
Exterminate them simply by cutting the cable cord and getting
rid of the big pharma ads. Enough is enough. The
whole game's rigged to keep them and their hatred of
us alive. But it only works if you cooperate, so
stop helping them. I was amazed by this. Do you
remember Jim Acosta, the disgraced TV news anchor former CNN heckler.
(25:44):
Jim Acosta is no longer bothering to disguise his affection
for fake and fraudulent news. According to another story today
at Breitbart dot com, he just did an interview with
an AI generated left wing gun control activist who died
in a mass shooting. The interview subject was twenty four
(26:04):
year old Joaquen Oliver. Except you won't believe this. Oliver
died back in twenty eighteen, along with sixteen others in
a mass school shooting in a place called Parkland. But
somebody at Jim Acosta's office was able to create an
AI generated version of what Joaquin Oliver would be like today,
and he interviewed a guy that died eight years ago.
Speaker 3 (26:26):
Kind of disrespectful.
Speaker 9 (26:27):
I would like to know what your solution would be
for gun violence.
Speaker 3 (26:33):
Great question.
Speaker 10 (26:34):
I believe in a mix of stronger gun control laws,
mental health support, and community engagement. We need to create
safe spaces for conversations and connections, making sure everyone feels
seen and heard. It's about building a culture of kindness
and understanding. What do you think about that?
Speaker 3 (26:49):
My God?
Speaker 2 (26:51):
After getting hit with the blowback, Jim Acosta defend himself
with the claim that this was all okay and done
at the request of Joaquin's parent parents. Don't think that
makes it okay, does it. Joaquin's activist parents are allowed
to work through their grief in any way they choose.
Speaker 3 (27:05):
That's fine.
Speaker 2 (27:05):
If they want to create an AI version of their
son to spout what sounded to me like mindless political
talking points, more power to them.
Speaker 3 (27:13):
But it is an outrage to the everyday idea.
Speaker 2 (27:16):
Of journalism for someone who calls himself a journalist to
interview a computer program and pass it off as a
real interview, while the interview subject, a guy that died
eight years ago, is just repeating things Democrat politicians right
on a talking point sheet. Sorry, but no including a parent,
can know who a teenager will become at age twenty four.
Speaker 3 (27:38):
Nobody.
Speaker 2 (27:40):
Look, I'm not judging the parents, it's their life. But
Jim Acosta is peacocking round as he abuses and exploits
the memory of a dead teenager to push his own
political agenda. It's kind of disgusting. Ice Cream made from
(28:11):
breast milk is now available. You can buy it at
grocery stores. It's available in jugs, but I don't know
what they sell it into grocery stores. Hi, everybody, thanks
for turning on the radio. I am sutt y'all know.
I love my boy Alex Stein. I think he's one
of the funniest people in conservative media. He's got a
funny TV show. I've been on his show, he's been
(28:31):
on this radio show before. We've done comedy shows with him.
We've raised a lot of money for charity because of
our good buddy Alex Stein. There are some very worthy
American heroes out there, with some very fancy electric wheelchairs
because of our buddy Alex Stein coming down to Houston
and telling funny jokes for wheelchairs for warriors. But when
Alex Steine isn't entertaining conservatives, he is trolling the Libs.
(28:53):
I don't know which of his two accomplishments are better
for humanity, but I'm glad he does both. If you
haven't seen his TV show on The Blaze, it is hilarious.
It's one of the greatest things in conservative media. But
odds are you missed him this week on MSNBC. Oh yeah,
Alex Stein was on MSNBC this week. I know what
you're thinking, why would they book him? They didn't. He
(29:14):
was at the Capitol in Austin, Texas, and all of
a sudden this happened.
Speaker 8 (29:18):
We just watched the speaker gabble out with a whole
lot of anger. Kelly, here's the state of play.
Speaker 9 (29:23):
Here's the MSNBC suck.
Speaker 4 (29:30):
Okay, sometimes this happens, and we understand that that can happen.
And while we love free speech, we're going to keep
control here. So Ryan, thank you, Shack, thank you. A
volatile story. We'll be following it. And apparently not only
Shaq cleaned up.
Speaker 3 (29:49):
But okay, but wait, there's more stay.
Speaker 4 (29:51):
With us here, because Ryan has cleared the set. As
we would like to say, the gentleman moved on so
nicely handled there. Can you give us an update on
as you were walking us through this. We'll all take
a breath there. Maybe not. Okay, go ahead, Ryan, see
(30:14):
hold on.
Speaker 2 (30:14):
Hold on one second, yelling in the bathroom.
Speaker 4 (30:18):
Okay, we're just gonna pull the plug there, thank you, playing.
Speaker 3 (30:22):
Out in real ta high.
Speaker 8 (30:24):
Yeah, there's a whole lot of anger here, as you
can see. So we're we're gonna get a control of
this and come back to you and be.
Speaker 4 (30:31):
Twn fair enough, fair enough.
Speaker 3 (30:33):
He doesn't seem that angry to me. Alex Stein live
right now from Dallas. Alex, were you angry? He said,
you're angry? Well, no, I'm I'm not angry.
Speaker 9 (30:42):
I'm just annoyed because I went to go speak at
the Dallas City Council this morning and they moved me
to the back of the list. And now they have
some new rule where they're.
Speaker 3 (30:50):
Handing out this form.
Speaker 9 (30:51):
If you do anything profane, they'll consider a disorderly conduct
and arrest you now. And and it's just weird that
that happen because I signed a after I went viral
on Monday for my testimony. So it's just weird to
seem I'm like, I just had the vibes are weird
because now because of that, I feel like they really
want to arrest me in Dallas. Like, I know this
(31:12):
sounds very weird, and maybe I'm just paranoid, huh, but
I get well, I know this sounds weird, but I've
never spoken at the Texas House.
Speaker 3 (31:21):
I've spoken everywhere else.
Speaker 9 (31:22):
I'm spoke at the cities from Los Angeles to New
York literally and almost everywhere in between, and city council meetings.
Really they are important, but they're small potatoes. Me at
that hearing. I'd actually said a similar stuff in other hearings.
You know, those videos didn't get tons of views, but
because it was such a serious setting, I've gotten a
lot of attention from powerful people and a lot of messages,
(31:45):
and I did not realize that it would be influential,
how influential would be speaking at the Senate hearing like that.
Speaker 2 (31:51):
Okay, so we're obviously the audio we just played was
not from the Senate hearing, and that was just MSNBC
broadcasting from the lobby or whatever, the rotunda, whatever that
room is called at the Capitol. But what Alex is
referring to, and I won't play the whole clip, but
here's him at a Senate committee hearing on state affairs
in Texas talking about trainees in the bathroom.
Speaker 3 (32:12):
Well, introduce yourself. Go ahead. My name is Alex Stein.
Speaker 9 (32:15):
I'm considered one of the sexiest men in conservative politics.
And one thing I want to say, a lot of
people are gonna hear my testimony. You're going to say
you're anti LGBTQ. I want to say that's impossible because
I'm a Dallas Cowboys fan, so obviously I have.
Speaker 3 (32:28):
A lot of gay pride. But you know a lot
of conservatives like yourself.
Speaker 9 (32:31):
If you want to outlaw transgenders and women's sports, I disagree.
I like transgenders and women's sports because you can gamble
on them and win money. And I want so much
money on Leah Thomas's propeller hudding that pool.
Speaker 11 (32:40):
I almost turned draft draft Kings. Excuse me to draft queens, Alex.
I actually don't think you're being that profane. You're alluding
to things, but actually that wasn't That was totally FCC compliant.
We could play that on the radio.
Speaker 1 (32:53):
No.
Speaker 9 (32:54):
What I'm saying is that was totally fine, But that
video blew up because that wasn't even that crazy. But
because people don't even say anything edgy in a Senate
hearing committee normally, the.
Speaker 3 (33:03):
Video is like blowing up.
Speaker 9 (33:05):
It has millions and millions of views. And my point is,
I went to the Dallas City Council this morning to
go talk about there's this guy, Chad West who was
recently he's a city council mon he was just recently
pictured with a guy by the name of Bill Hutchinson
who's a very influential guy in Dallas. But he recently
got charged as being a registered sex offender for doing
something with a child. So I was going to talk
(33:27):
about that because I thought that would hit pretty hard.
And at the Dallas City Council they're handing out flyers
all even takes you the picture. It's like an official warning.
I've never seen this at a meeting in my life,
and they're handing out these flyers saying that if you
say anything profane that now you'll be subject to disorderly
conduct and subject to arrest.
Speaker 3 (33:44):
And I know that that is.
Speaker 9 (33:45):
They're doing that because they want to arrest me. They
want me to go in that meeting, they want me
to say something crazy, and they want to arrest me.
So I'm just kind of shook. I'm just like, wow,
this is I should have been speaking at the Texas
House sooner, Alex.
Speaker 2 (33:59):
As a friend and a fellow patriot and a fellow Texan,
I will tell you, and I know this doesn't solve
the problem if you get arrested. I guarantee that talk
radio listeners around the state will be willing to pitch
some money in. I mean, I don't know how much
they charge for that, but obviously that hasn't happened yet.
Maybe you could explain this to me because you're throwing so
much interesting stuff at us. The guy on the Dallas
City Council that got into trouble, his nickname is bath
(34:22):
House Chad.
Speaker 3 (34:22):
How do you get a nickname like that, Alex.
Speaker 9 (34:25):
Yeah, because he's a guy. He's having like an ethics
board review on the fourteenth I believe it was September
in Austin because he allegedly used and this is all leged,
but he used you know whatever, city money to visit
a bath house on one of his official business trips.
So he's a goofball, We'll say that. I mean, there's
(34:46):
evidence that he's pretty goofy. I can think I can
say that without you know, fear of any retaliation. But yeah,
he's hanging out with a registered sex offender named Bill Hutchinson,
who used to be one of the most influential, powerful
guys in Dallas until he got arrested for this, and
then obviously now he's persona non grata rightfully so, but randomly,
like in my community, people are like, oh, I wouldn't
(35:08):
even say I'm friends with Bill Hudgson anymore because of
his you know, registered sex offender status. But this politician
was even after this, even after all this stuff happened,
like two months ago, takes a picture in Miami and
it's on the registered sex offenders page, And with all
this weird Epstein stuff, it's like, a why do these
politicians somehow end up hanging out with registered sex offenders?
Like if these people can't get a job at McDonald's,
(35:30):
they shouldn't have a job working with our politicians that
are elected by the people, you know what I mean,
there should be some lines that that we draw on
the sand and we do not cross.
Speaker 2 (35:41):
You know, Alex, You and I go out and we
tell dirty jokes in nightclubs, and I'm you know, I
do a radio show and you've got your TV show,
and we both podcast And despite that, I don't think
you and I, I mean, I don't know if you do,
but I don't actually know any registered sex offenders. All
the most vile, perverted, creepy, predatory behavior eyewitness in real
life seems to come from elected officials like I guess
(36:04):
you were the first to point this out that Dallas
mayor cheated on his wife, you'd claimed before he became
a Republican. And then you and I have another mutual friend,
Tony Ortiz, a journalist that recently exposed Dallas area lawmaker
Giovanni Capriglione for supposedly having a seventeen year affair on
his wife, Supposedly multiple abortions, supposedly fantasizing about doing something
(36:26):
to cookie dough and feeding it to children.
Speaker 3 (36:28):
This is all alleged.
Speaker 9 (36:29):
Yeah, weird, and it's all alleged, and we don't know
what's real or what's fake. But there's a lot of smoke,
you know, I don't know.
Speaker 3 (36:35):
If there's fire.
Speaker 9 (36:36):
I know there's a lot of smoke, you know, I
know that.
Speaker 3 (36:41):
All right, that'd be it said.
Speaker 2 (36:42):
We have a minute or two after the interview here,
and you are one of the most controversial people in
Texas politics, even though your only crime is telling jokes
and saying funny stuff. You never heard anyone. I want
to get your reaction to a couple of things. We're
looking for someone to replace Sila Jackson. Lee died and
then Sylvester Turner took over for her. He died, So
now everybody wants to be in charge of the eighteenth
(37:03):
Congressional district. One of those people is this guy, Isaiah Martin,
who got arrested at the Texas Congressional hearing recently.
Speaker 7 (37:10):
You may remember last week Republicans threw me in jail.
But when I was in jail, I actually did a
town hall for the inmates, and one of the things
they were mad at was the cost of childcare.
Speaker 2 (37:19):
Now, Isaiah says, and I just sum this up here,
he thinks we should make him a congressman so we
can raise money. We'll have more money for child care
for inmates. That's his position, not to be out done.
Here's another Texas Democrat, Joelanda Jones. She claims that this
Texas congressional redistricting is basically the Holocaust. Here she is
(37:39):
with Don Lemon Party the Disgrace CNN anchor feedd deported.
Speaker 6 (37:43):
I mean, we will lose all of our rights. And
if you think it can't happen, it can. And I
will liken this to the Holocaust. People are like, well,
how did the Holocaust happen?
Speaker 2 (37:52):
She'll explain it to you. But instead of that, I'd
rather have you tell us what do you think is funnier?
The Texas congressional redistricting is the Holocaust? Or that we
need free childcare for inmates, Alex Stein, I'll let you
get the last word on this.
Speaker 9 (38:05):
Well, I say, I kind of agree with childcare for
all these inmates. I feel bad for all these childless kids.
So I think the dope of the week, you know,
even though it's a crazy idea of the childcare the
Holocaust revision, is Yolanda Jones or Joelnda Jones. I think
she is the freak of the week with that statement.
I mean to compare the Holocaust to that redistrict game
that takes a special kind of stupid. You know.
Speaker 2 (38:26):
I don't know if you've ever been around inmates before,
but I do not get the impression they know their
children well enough to know where the funding they do.
Speaker 9 (38:33):
That's why they need the child care even more so, right, Kenny,
I mean, God, they don't even know that their kids
are alive. I mean, that's more so why we need it.
Speaker 3 (38:42):
But Alex hide reality. But that's the world. I know.
There are people in our industry that hate you.
Speaker 2 (38:46):
I am not one of them. I think Alex Stein.
I think the world is a better place because of
Alex Stein. Check out his TV show on Blaze TV.
Speaker 8 (38:53):
I'm not a fan of the government doing anything.
Speaker 3 (38:56):
