Speaker 1 (04:42):
That was like it was like a purple flag dogs
like a green flag. You know what I'm saying. But
thank you for it, man, I appreciate you know what
I'm saying. You know what I'm saying. Have no friends gathered?
It was dope, you know what I'm saying. Even though
you wasn't there, it was cool that I wasn't. Now,
the second half you know what I'm saying. When the
banana putting in all this shit got flowing, you wasn't
no where you saying.

Speaker 2 (05:00):
But yeah, thank you appreciate that. You know what I'm saying.
Let's get it man, y'all know what it is. Man
taking the truth, man, sir, certified.

Speaker 4 (05:12):
Certain Fast, certified, certain Fast, and certain certa.

Speaker 2 (05:25):
It's a green summer. Yeah, we built differently. You ain't
watching the games like I'm watching it again. You're outside,
We're alive. That's when you stopped the production and we
go back to w Yeah, a lot going on this week?
What lot going on? Pe?

Speaker 3 (05:47):
Breaking news?

Speaker 2 (05:49):
You got some breaking news.

Speaker 1 (05:50):
Yeah, I'm I'm I'm very disappointed right now waking up
to the news of CP being released by the Clippers.
This more Yeah, this is a like to me, his
teeth and it's like, damn no, he wasn't he was

(06:12):
still sleep. Yeah, but I'm saying, like, this is wrong
on so many different levels. And I don't know what
internally happened between him and management and ownership and coaching
and the players and all of that, but it really
don't matter. It could have went a whole other way
because this is a guy that came in and created
a culture for the Clippers who had no culture at

(06:35):
the time. This is a guy who put the Clippers
on the map. This is a guy who they might
be the first player that they should retire his number
for what he did for the Clippers, and for him
to go out like this is very disrespectful. I don't
know if there was a mutual agreement on this or
not or what, but from the outside looking in, this

(06:57):
is very disrespectful for me to see it like this,
and other players around the league see this and see
what's going on with this organization and it leaves like
a bad kind of like, look, a bad look on
the organization. Listen at this rate, you gotta know Chris
Paul is in front of his business. I'm just anticipating

(07:17):
this they did. This ain't just something he didn't know.
They had to come. I'm anticipating that they gave him
enough enough professionalism to hollering, hey, look this is what
we're thinking.

Speaker 2 (07:27):
It ain't working. ABC. We both amicable. Let's go let's
go positive.

Speaker 1 (07:32):
Let me tell you this, though, Lord, he already announced
he's retiring, right so I will tell you this. When
I was with the Clippers, and when I said I
was a different situation. But I'm telling you, I'm telling you, Okay,
come to my story. I told them this is my
last year, same as Chris Paul. They had a trade.

Speaker 2 (07:49):
They told him. You told him before you came in there.

Speaker 1 (07:53):
Sorry, look, hold on, I'm gonna tell you they had
they was gonna trade me. So they brought me up,
said we got a trade. I said, a trade. I'm
about to be done. You know, I live here, I'm
I'm not going nowhere else though. Just let me finish
out the year and I'm out of here, you know
what I'm saying. Like for that to even come up,

(08:13):
Like when you notice, as a guy's last year, you
know what I'm saying, he has Chris has a home here,
He's his family is rooted here, kids in school. Like
I just think there's just certain things as an organization
that you really gotta like take any count, be held
accountable for it.

Speaker 2 (08:34):
Though, because other players see it, you know. So you know,
I don't know.

Speaker 1 (08:38):
I can't speak on his situation, but I had to
talk with Doc and I was like, Doc, I'm not
taking no trade, Like, just let me finish out. I'm done,
anyway like are my family here everything, Like, no, we
ain't doing that. We're not doing that, okay, and they
respected that. So that's that's one way. That's one way. Okay, Respectfully,
it was Paul Pierce, so Doc was in there, made

(09:00):
a little more right. They didn't have to say none
of that to you as a respects to the player. Right,
they came to you, talk to you, ABC, but in
business man, you here gotta I ain't gotta ask unless
you got a no trade class, why I gotta deal
with you.

Speaker 2 (09:15):
You on your way out, your your your your lasting asset.

Speaker 1 (09:20):
That means after this, I know don't have nothing right Okay,
So I got an opportunity to better my team today.

Speaker 2 (09:26):
I got you want Pete Peers, maybe not even better
your team, but save saloney.

Speaker 1 (09:31):
Well, the betterment whatever the definition of that's what I'm saying.
So in that whole thing, BRO, you gotta look at
it like I don't really have to go in here
and actually engage the player. I can just business as
usual and his agent would talk to the president and
Lawrence and they get it fit abn C. So they
showed you that type of respect, bro, that the league
don't necessarily have to do that with every playoff and

(09:54):
no matter you know this, it don't I don't care
what you've done. Yeah, he did start or Love culture
and him and Blake Griffin and that whole thing came
through and that was a that was a great thing
for the Clippers. I think the first real culture for
for the whole thing. Right you you just said they
was handing out tickets in the nineties and trying to write. Okay,
Love City got here. That was established. But you know,

(10:15):
the league don't give a fuck about.

Speaker 2 (10:17):
What you not did for that.

Speaker 1 (10:19):
Well, are you say a certain organizations? Nah, the league,
certain organizations. I'm saying the league because at the end
of the day, if Philly could get something for Joe LMB,
no matter what he's done and did all since he's
been there, same thing, it don't matter. Right, you can
name a name, Vince Carter. When it was time for
that player to move on, all that went out the window.

(10:41):
And and and to the respects to the player. You
know what I'm saying, Think about this mess. Sacramento traded
DeMarcus Cousins. At you hear what I'm saying, Lord, That's
what I'm saying. Bro. None of that gets taken in
account of what you've done and what you've man none
of that because when it comes down to business, all

(11:03):
that old man, Yeah you got a house, Say okay,
coach man, and what man, we got a chance to
be able to get something for you at a B
and C or we finished.

Speaker 2 (11:11):
We ain't finn win. So guess what we ain't finna win?
So we finished. Start cutting.

Speaker 1 (11:15):
We're finnah, start cutting motherfuckers, right, you know what I'm
talking about. That's what it looks like this year they
working out penning. All right, cool, let's go ahead and
get rid of these these month on contracts. Yeah, so
that's what it looks like. This is a business decision
right here, because if you wanted to actually win, I
think you would have actually played them.

Speaker 2 (11:29):
What was the purport hour regards you?

Speaker 3 (11:31):
Was about to say, So, Chris Paul's in his twenty
first year. I just want to set that up. He
said it was his final year in the NBA. He
was getting a lot of d MPs start the year,
which hadn't happened in his career. So a player probably
doesn't take kindly to that, and Shams reported that he
clashed with leadership and was vocal, and he held and

(11:51):
coaches and players accountable, and Tyler and him kind of
clashed heads. Is what the report is saying.

Speaker 1 (11:57):
The same reason they got rid of Chris Paul. It's
the same reason they're getting rid of Chris Paul if
we remember the end of that. I don't know if
y'all remember that, the end of the d Vaca when
when they when they was just getting him, getting rid
of him, Blake, you remember this when him and Balma
wouldn't even look at each.

Speaker 2 (12:13):
Other some other ship and then Blake ran off the
court of some other shit or whatever.

Speaker 1 (12:16):
The fuck? Y'all remember why he left? Looked through about
him and not being able to coach him and him.
You know, Chris Paul is so smart and so good
of a player, but the knock on him was that
he was uncoachable. He was annoyed all you know, he
didn't mess with everybody else. I think when you said
you went back to the Clippers, you said that that

(12:37):
didn't even.

Speaker 2 (12:38):
Look like what it looked like. Well, I wouldn't say
he's un coachable.

Speaker 1 (12:41):
I think that, uh, you know, sometimes his leadership style
kind of rubbed other players the wrong way, you know,
and you know, he like had a stronger pinion with
the coaching, and like I think that a lot of players.
That's nice. That's one of the top players do that.
Like I've been in the time out where Doctor drop
a play in Rondo It'll be like, na, let's run this.

(13:03):
I mean, we respected that because we respected Rondo's knowledge.
But when you know, I think Chris was kind of
the same way, but it got put out a different
kind of way, you know what I'm saying.

Speaker 2 (13:13):
Like he was like smarter than.

Speaker 1 (13:14):
Everybody in the room, and he think he know everything.
But like I've seen Rondo do that all the time,
and we was like we're rolling right, you know what
I'm saying.

Speaker 2 (13:23):
Yeah, So I've never played with situation, been there.

Speaker 1 (13:28):
I saw it firsthand, Like I just thought facing I mean,
I just think sometimes he rubbed some of his teammates
the wrong way in the locker room.

Speaker 2 (13:38):
Just like conversation or he's saying something a certain way.

Speaker 1 (13:40):
I don't know, because I was always with all my
teams I ever played with, we was kind of like
more of a tight knit group, you know what I'm saying.
You know, we used to go to dinner, and we
on the bus shooting dice or playing cards together. You know,
it never was like he I didn't see that interaction
with the other guys in him, you know what I'm saying.
It was like the first the first road trip where

(14:02):
you know, you got individual guys sitting at their own
tables at breakfast. You know, you know, you go to
breakfast and then watch film and then you go to
shoot around. It was like a guy at this table,
a guy at this table, these two guys congregating.

Speaker 2 (14:13):
You know.

Speaker 1 (14:13):
See, he by hisself. And then I remember on the
road we went to dinner. I said, let's go to
dinner dog, and so I had sat and went to
dinner with him. And then I remember he threw a
charity event. None of the players showed up. Oh they
weren't supporting each other. I don't know, you know.

Speaker 2 (14:28):
So it is what it is.

Speaker 1 (14:30):
But he can help somebody, bro. I don't think he done.
If I'm Houston, if I am Houston, I go get him. Man.

Speaker 2 (14:37):
Man, Houston need a point guard.

Speaker 1 (14:38):
Manna, all these niggas need point guards. Man all this listen, man,
that's just sound good till it come down. The fourth
quarter and you gotta make some IQ decisions on the ball. Listen, man, quick,
charm out quick quick this neck quit This narrative of
six feet six two six street point guards being out
motherfuckers is not smart enough to run the games right now.

(14:59):
Point Guards are are built to run the game. He's
the second coach other than the coach. He's organizing when
when Paul Pince wants the ball at the elbow, a big,
a small forward, a fucking two guard don't know how
to get the ball to a motherfucker like a nigga
like that unless he the point guard. You understand what
I'm saying, Like, I think we're starting to like this
whole point guard thing. And man, man, there, point guard

(15:22):
is very important. First off, I don't get no fuck
And I don't think everybody can just grab the point
guard position and start playing it.

Speaker 2 (15:29):
I just don't. I don't.

Speaker 1 (15:30):
It takes a lot of IQ, a lot of smart
It's a lot of intelligence in that ship. And then
you gotta field of game. Sometimes you're pushing it, sometimes
you got slowed down. You know what I'm saying, Lord, Like, Man,
I heard I heard this man like the six two
six whatever it is, Man, he can still hurt, he
can still help somebody man.

Speaker 2 (15:47):
But he ain't. He ain't just fixed.

Speaker 1 (15:48):
But the thing the point guard position that's dramatically changed.
You know, from the Chris Paul style of point guard.
He's older, he doesn't have the same step. He's a
he's a pick and rollint guard who can get you
in the offense.

Speaker 2 (16:01):
And he should be perfect today.

Speaker 1 (16:05):
If he's not, if you're not an offensive threat at
the point guard, like a super offensive threat. Like like
when you look around the league, the point guards. I'm
not even gonna say the All Stars, but like just
the other day, Peyton Pritcher gave somebody forty forty two
saw that.

Speaker 4 (16:20):
You know.

Speaker 1 (16:20):
That's what I'm saying, Like we're looking at guys that like,
you gotta be able to get money at the point guard.
You got to be a major threat at all times
at the top. That's the point guard position today. Think
about our top point guard, Shay Brunson, MAXI, you gotta
go downhill. If you're not able to get downhill and
take advantage of the switches at the point guard, than

(16:41):
you a liability.

Speaker 2 (16:42):
That's what the game is. Reason why he's not playing
this because you think he just had a liability.

Speaker 1 (16:45):
Now yeah, I think he's more of a liability because
of his inability to get money like he used to
and defensively Chris, but I think in your timeouts, in
your locker room and his I Q he can help.

Speaker 2 (17:00):
Man.

Speaker 1 (17:00):
Listen, you know when I'm watching the games. You know,
I don't watch the game. I might watch the bench.
No bullshit, because you know what I pay attention to.
You're not watching the games, Lord, So you know what
I mean paying attention. If niggas is dapping, I'm watching,
if they celebrating, if somebody makes the score, if they
even reacting on the bench. Lord, when the timeouts came,

(17:21):
he may still be on the bench at the end
of the time out. I started to see, I just saw.
I just started man day one. I started to see
he was disengaged and it didn't look like what I
hoped it to be. Like they got Brooke over there,
they got Chris Paul over there, they got some veterans that,
yeah they're a little older, but they can their knowledge
in their help.

Speaker 2 (17:42):
I was like, ooh, I'm looking forward to the Clippers.

Speaker 3 (17:44):
Feld get hurt for the entire year. And then Lopez is.

Speaker 1 (17:48):
So I'm saying they had all this, they're struggling, man,
And yeah, I started to see it early, so I
didn't know. And then when I didn't see him in
the huddle. You know when guys come to the thing,
come out the game and you see them interacting, Hey,
this is what I see.

Speaker 2 (18:00):
It wasn't none of that. So I don't I don't
know what's going on in the Clippers.

Speaker 1 (18:03):
Man. I think actually man shot to Chris Paul Man,
I don't think he done. I hope he goes to
another team and help somebody. Man, but long with him
to end it like this, man, he deserves to go
out the way he want to go out, and he
should go. You know, he not done nothing this league
to where he should get celebrated. But yeah, man, he
can help somebody. He go to Milwaukee right now, help
Milwaukee right now, right now. I don't know what y'all
talking about Milwaukee, Lord, huh. I don't think he can

(18:26):
help Milwaukee. They don't think any more scoring, they need
more scoring. They ain't got nobody. But I think he
can help a uh like Orlando. Like you know what
I'm saying, that young team brings some veterans like.

Speaker 2 (18:38):
That back they running. You need a vet in that
locker and listen that kid black, that kid sugs.

Speaker 4 (18:44):
Boy.

Speaker 1 (18:45):
They come in there and they get it done and
they still need some knowledge in there. That's I'm trying
to tell you. I would actually put Chris Paul in
a place like Milwaukee where it's more suitable for whatever.

Speaker 3 (18:55):
Man.

Speaker 2 (18:55):
He not gonna be able to.

Speaker 1 (18:56):
Go on more of a contender, a team that could
be a threat. It's close like Milwaukee, is not it
right now? They just ground Janni's He didn't cut off.

Speaker 2 (19:05):
He is up and down like nash Dak my dog.
He don't he don't want to beat there, I believe
right now, Milwaukee like Bitcoin right now, one minute, day up,
all the ethereum.

Speaker 3 (19:18):
Their last ten seven game streak at one point.

Speaker 2 (19:22):
Is this niggas almost averaging like forty for them. They
can't win.

Speaker 3 (19:27):
Susmissed a little bit of time as well.

Speaker 2 (19:29):
Ship, he's playing way too hard. He's playing way too hard,
and they can't win.

Speaker 1 (19:35):
Trust Milwaukee right now, listen, trouble about eight seven, eight
different places, real Ship, what's the trade?

Speaker 2 (19:41):
You got, what's the what's the what's the trade? You
want to do out here, bro. A lot of mother
a lot of motherfuckers need fresh all right now. Who
need fresh air? Right now? There's a few people that
need some freshir.

Speaker 1 (19:50):
Yannas needs fresh air. Janna needs some fresh air. We
all know John Ryan needs fresh air. I need some
fresh air for jo John needs some I need some
fresh air, like immediately need Kamena needs some fresh air.
Camina whoa, Yeah, he needs some fresh air. They you
ain't ship right with stef go there, but they don't.
He's still not even starting in the fourth quarter last night,

(20:12):
Benson the fourth court. That's what I'm saying that, like,
he needs some fresh air. He can play. I think
I got of control though. Lord, everybody in Sacramento need
fresh air.

Speaker 2 (20:21):
Yeah, yeah, Tom, Tom.

Speaker 1 (20:23):
It is. It's trying to break that whole thing up.
They need to get rid of the owner. Everybody. Everybodybody
Sacramento needs to be aired out. You know what I'm saying.

Speaker 2 (20:33):
They needed.

Speaker 1 (20:34):
You know what I'm saying that might be be Come
on in there, man, get that motherfucker some new energy. Yeah,
get that team Diamond there, yeah, make c web GM
yeah yeah man, man, man the bee Dusty the b
ain't me being used. I seen the button had all
kind of cobwebs on the button and ship. I'm not
sure who needs fresh air on the clippers. Oh man,

(20:55):
that whole ship it's over. I love how James Hard look,
but I don't know if he can play with another
super power bro. He looks better when he with the
You know what I'm saying. You put him amongst the people.
You box can help somebody.

Speaker 2 (21:05):
Damn, you're gonna get You're gonna ship it all out. Man.

Speaker 1 (21:07):
We can use him on the Celtics, Mano to the
celi We can use right there, real ship round here,
you get it done. I like big fella, big fella
get agether with j Brown playing away, he playing is
a guaranteed fourteen and ten.

Speaker 2 (21:24):
Yeah, he's solid. He's solid.

Speaker 1 (21:27):
And then don't let and then you can build around
that in JT for the next four years. Uh next year.
Oh man, we can set the building blocks up right now.
We can take these fire cells that's going on around
the league. There's a lot of fire and B and
B nah and b.

Speaker 2 (21:42):
It's time for fresh air. But he needs some fresh
some fresh air. It's over. It's that's not here, no
more him and PG, I said to him, and PG
need fresh air? Where you put them? Were you were?
You know what I'm saying? You send him west? Uh Man?

Speaker 1 (21:55):
I think uh Joel embiid if he can somehow get
the Golden.

Speaker 3 (21:59):
State expensive air conditioner.

Speaker 2 (22:02):
Yeah, Golden State sacks somewhere. Boy end up in SA.

Speaker 1 (22:10):
They're not taking the clip who you comminga for Uh?
To the Clippers kaminga for uh, your man and Philly
for Paul George comminga for uh and be you gotta
ask You're not gonna do. And the contracts ain't gonna
add up.

Speaker 3 (22:29):
A one year deal too. Yeah, so he basically has
a one year deal that's tradable to a team that
wants an expiring deal.

Speaker 1 (22:35):
You know a move I would make right now, right now,
I think I would trade Janni's to Detroit somehow and
pair him up with k. I mean, I think the
windows open right now for Detroit. They can come out
the East with that movie you're blow.

Speaker 2 (22:53):
Do you know if you give up Jannis, you're gonna
have to take half the whole.

Speaker 1 (22:56):
Team who Duran and who else? Tobias who else? And
then you're throwing Ivy. They were one of them your
boys airing, No, they won't that young the young. Then
you got two young core pieces during as a twenty ten.
He's gonna be an All Star this year. Listen your

(23:17):
blow and then you get ivy potential, and then you
get that contract to bias. You forgot twin over there,
twin you know, twin over there, right, and then you
add Giannis with hey lord, are you listening?

Speaker 2 (23:28):
Hello, you take one of the twins.

Speaker 3 (23:29):
Okay, what what about Atlanta trade?

Speaker 2 (23:32):
No twins? Nobody trading their twins.

Speaker 1 (23:35):
I don't like him in Atlanta. I love Atlanta's team
right now, I'm gonna let them grow. If anything, you
gotta maybe start exploring some options for Trey Young and
let them grow because they got some They got some
pieces over there.

Speaker 2 (23:47):
Jalen, you got uh yep, the number one pick and
then the.

Speaker 1 (23:55):
Walker Alexander Ben killing lately man confidence. Right now, I'm
gonna let you know what, I ain't even trading trade.
I'm gonna let that grow. I'm gonna have trade like. Look,
you gotta take a back seat.

Speaker 2 (24:07):
He was over there too.

Speaker 1 (24:08):
Yeah, I'm gonna let them grow right now. Because I
saw the two games they played against Detroit. They lost,
but they was competitive in both and they both kind
of built for the long run. If you looking at
OKC model right now, you gotta stay young. If you're
good right now, don't mess up with you got, you know,
if you got a window to get a superstar maybe

(24:29):
or not. But like I love Orlando, I love Atlanta,
I love Detroit.

Speaker 2 (24:34):
Right now, run the tape man this man. Last week,
theyn't like make me then like who I was already
on high on Orlando.

Speaker 3 (24:42):
You said you could help, So that meant that you
felt like they weren't playing that.

Speaker 1 (24:46):
Well, No, I just said they needed some shooting. I
didn't say they couldn't play. I said needed some extra shooting.
And now that bang is starting to pick it up
his run pick it up. He picked it up.

Speaker 2 (24:56):
I said, well he was bringing the green ground. Picked
it up. He be getting thirties later, winn.

Speaker 1 (25:04):
Grin grind over there. Yeah, yeah, black black better you
I see what you're talking about. Yeah, I like that
these old teams. Get these old teams up out of
here right now. Man, you gotta get these old teams.
Some old teams just old players. Ain't an old teams.
Old players, old players.

Speaker 3 (25:23):
Clippers are an old team Clippers.

Speaker 1 (25:25):
In Golden State. Is they looking like, oh, so, let
me ask you, this is the Kawhi era over the Clippers. Yeah, yeah, yeah,
the Kawhi Leonard experiment is over. They set themselves back
ten years when they traded Shay Gill. Just I mean,
that was one of the all time blunders that we're

(25:48):
gonna look back and say, damn if that had kept
Shay right now, how would they be looking with Shae
Kawhi and whoever. All the picks, all the picks, you
know what I'm saying. That was one of the all
That was a blunder right there. So they they kicking
theyself and Shay is gonna be winning multiple m vps
and titles right now.

Speaker 2 (26:07):
And Doc knew it when he was there. You keep
you think to you think to lose how long you
been there? I think t Lou need to I think
he needed to go to back. I think he needed
to go.

Speaker 1 (26:20):
You know what, who can use to No, No, I'll
tell you this, I said this other d I think
who can use t Lou right now? Cleveland can go.
He needs to go back to Cleveland. He needed to
go coach that Cleveland team because.

Speaker 2 (26:30):
The Cleveland team is looking underachieving, right.

Speaker 3 (26:32):
He won sixty four games last year though, Yeah.

Speaker 2 (26:34):
But they're not on that pace this year. They looking
like this.

Speaker 3 (26:37):
Yes, I'm just saying that guy won Coach the year
last year, Kenny won Coach the year.

Speaker 2 (26:42):
I'm talking about this year. I'm talking about this year.

Speaker 1 (26:44):
Yeah, I'm just saying, you got you bring in a
championship coach now to get him over the hump. You
got ship Like when Detroit brought in Larry Brown, you
got to bring in you know, Foy is lit.

Speaker 2 (26:54):
Detroit is going boy be the.

Speaker 3 (26:56):
Coach of the Clippers since twenty twenty. Is that coach?
He came there as an assistant in twenty nineteen and
then he assumed the head coaching role in twenty twenty,
so he's been there basically six seasons.

Speaker 1 (27:06):
Yeah, I think he need to be idian in Cleveland.

Speaker 2 (27:10):
You you want to move to Loo now?

Speaker 1 (27:11):
You can trade coaches, you know that, right, DoD got traded, Yeah,
the Clippers, you trade Tlu to Cleveland.

Speaker 2 (27:21):
Now. I think I think you just reload.

Speaker 3 (27:23):
Man.

Speaker 2 (27:23):
You know, every year ain't gonna be you.

Speaker 1 (27:24):
Know, I don't like the situation over there with t Lou, Right, now,
I think he a really good coach, and he just
had bad breaks every year, injuries, he'd have bad breaks.
His team's play for him, though, Man, No, he he
always gets his But you need a healthy team and
a young team that's ready to go.

Speaker 2 (27:42):
I think Cleveland is go back to Cleveland. That's that's ready.

Speaker 3 (27:45):
Going back to Giannis. Do you feel like it's in
his best interest to get out of Milwaukee this season?

Speaker 1 (27:50):
I think so if you want to, if he wants
to take advantage of his time now, because you know
how old is John.

Speaker 5 (27:56):
He's thirty or he'll be thirty one short, Okay, but
he plays like he plays, you know what I'm saying,
Like his his effort and his putout is like a
just like I'm playing two games in one and some shit.

Speaker 3 (28:06):
You know what about a san Antonio Spurs potential with
him just throwing a team out? What do you guys
think about that?

Speaker 2 (28:13):
I don't like him.

Speaker 1 (28:15):
I'm telling you I like what Pi shid putting them
with another young superstar. This is getting him him to
fucking getting him to Detroit, Like you know, Detroit built
a certain way too, bro. Like, maybe that's not the
right answer because now because I contradicted myself because I'm
looking at like if I'm looking at the model, the

(28:35):
model right now is okay, see they young. You add Giannis,
your window is like four years, five years, right, Okay,
s got a big window because they got pieces young
and they got draft picks. So if I'm right now
like san Antonio, I'm keeping I'm staying young and growing
right now, the time is to stay young. Don't try

(28:57):
to make that move to say all right, we're gonna
get a window with you, like, stay young and grow.

Speaker 2 (29:02):
Like how play the marathon game, the sprint game.

Speaker 1 (29:05):
Yeah, yeah, stay young because okay, see they look like
they faster than everybody out there. You know, people don't
give people the ideal of growth. You know what I'm saying,
things to be you know what I'm saying, that's that's
a good point.

Speaker 3 (29:18):
So if you're a GM, though, like what's the team
that you would pick for Joanniston? You had to pick one.

Speaker 1 (29:23):
Man the best fit for Giannis? Uh yeah, go to
stay to be good. But I just think they're getting
they old and then the window is short. I mean,
but the window is short anyway, because Curry is older,
Draymond's older Jimmy Butler.

Speaker 2 (29:40):
But you put them, He's gonna make it better. But
you know, I think you gotta read. You gotta go
back to the Knicks.

Speaker 1 (29:49):
I think you gotta look the Knicks because that that
was something that surfaced over the summer. I think you
gotta look at the Knicks. Yeah, it was a possible
trade for him for U. I don't know if it
was bronsing.

Speaker 2 (30:02):
Towns, it was towns. Damn would you do for towns? No,
I would like to pair Giannis with towns.

Speaker 3 (30:07):
Actually, some of that money's got to go out, so
it Bronson.

Speaker 1 (30:14):
Hell, No, Brunson bigger than Cat Lord. Well you tripping bro,
you that's body boy.

Speaker 2 (30:22):
But if I got Giannis and Cats got to make sense,
makes me one of the makes his body body man
body to hear. He the black Lion, he the he,
the thing that formed Votron in there, you feel me?
He keep that motherfucker together me real ship. I can
see the cat ship. Damn. I like Cat. I like him,

(30:46):
but I like him with Brunson. I like it with
Black and more with Cat than Bronson. No, I like
him with Brunson. Too physical, too physical.

Speaker 1 (30:55):
One inside, one inside outside. I can get a I
don't need a scoring guard with them too. You know
what I'm saying, I don't need much with them too.

Speaker 2 (31:04):
The Knicks need direction, you know what I'm saying.

Speaker 1 (31:07):
When you got to twenty five point scoring bigs like that,
I don't know my guard. He my guard can be
like who I could get a young guard in there,
like if a sale or something. If I could add
a young guard trying to score the ball. He's not,
but he ain't no twenty five points score.

Speaker 3 (31:23):
He needs a lot of money though.

Speaker 1 (31:26):
I'm just throwing a name out there, like I could
add like a sugs to that and it'd be good.
You know what I'm saying, I don't need an all
star guard. If I got them too, I don't like
that parent. You know, I could add Anthony Simon's to that.
Like That's what I'm saying. I don't need an all
star guard to them too. But if you say all right, now,
you're saying, what's the difference if you if you put
Jalen Brunson with Aunte Tacoupo, you shrinking the floor on

(31:51):
them now a little more. It's like a different type
of twenty five he giving you who you gonna stop.
They both coming downhill. And when you go pick and roll,
are you gonna stop? And with the swing swing with
the same ship, take cat Out who's usually on the
perimeter for the swing swing with Yannis underneath, with him roller,
he's gonna You're gonna have to bring him Offfucker, You're

(32:12):
not gonna leave him down there with the small one
on one. So now you got a three or two
on three on two on the outside. Lord, It's just
it's the same thing. It's going to create opportunity. Then Brunson,
if he turns the corner, he in there. And then Mitchell,
Oh gee, all these niggas coming off the bench. Man,
So you don't like the Brunton Towns combination right now?
I like the I like the Brunton Towns combination, I said,

(32:33):
I like the Brunts and Yannis combination better than the
than the Yanni's uh Co domination he was talking about.

Speaker 2 (32:39):
I don't like the big one Bee. I like Ashley Mitchell.
I like, what's my guy Mann?

Speaker 1 (32:43):
Mitchell, Robinson's a walking officeer rebounding machine. Look at the
comb when you playing with Giannis, that's chat Hong Grim
and Hartenstein, that's two bigs together. One can spread the floor,
and one is you know, inside one of that. That's
a better, a better version of that over there. One
is a versaal big, and one is a big. Yeah,

(33:05):
that is a versaal big, and bro is a versatile big.

Speaker 2 (33:08):
Yeah, you need a big bro. The block shots being there, Lord,
you got both of them. I like that. Better good,
I'm good. I see what you're doing them they too,
They too, They played too much of the same.

Speaker 1 (33:20):
No, but dude, spread the court though towns. He spreads
the courted. You gotta get up on towns at the three.
I don't give it. Domn what you say, Okay, who's
offensive rebounding? Then who's Josh Hard and Jonnas and Josh Hart? Yes, yes,
Josh Hard. Yes, Josh Hard is out there like a
big man.

Speaker 2 (33:40):
Hey, y'all know what Tom in this time for price picks.
Let's get it, Nate, Yes, sir, all right.

Speaker 3 (33:44):
So standing's update. KG. You're four and four, Paul, you're
five and three.

Speaker 2 (33:49):
Yep, close one game apart fifty I take you, all right,
So take it.

Speaker 3 (33:53):
Let's look at Friday. Friday Lakers at Celtics. Let's look
at Austin Reeves points more or less.

Speaker 1 (34:01):
Give me Austin Reeves. Uh more, Yeah, I'm gonna go more.
Austin Larry Bird Reeves Austin legend in his on the backyard. Yeah,
you've been playing like man, Austin playing like that, dude,
you feel Austin Larry Bird reads from Yeah, the nicest
duo in the league by far, too right, what you say?
I mean they're the best scoring dude, right now, I'm

(34:24):
talking about who better than them? I mean, right now,
if I had to take and uh.

Speaker 2 (34:31):
Dizzling Ingram, you.

Speaker 1 (34:33):
Gotta put like Kine and Durham and there no, no, no,
I'm talk about God play duo, the k Countingham and
in twin No, the big man Durham during that's like
body and uh cat, I'm talking about duo you're talking about.
I'm talking about guard play backcourd you mean I guess, yeah, yeah,
I guess yeah, I'm talking about.

Speaker 2 (34:53):
God play Okay back court.

Speaker 1 (34:54):
Then, yeah, you gotta say they're the best back court
unless you're putting unless you like Shaye and Jalen dog.
I mean Jalen just got back. He's starting to get
in shape right now. They the champs. Oh yeah, they
the best back quarter in the league.

Speaker 3 (35:08):
So you guys both got more on ar.

Speaker 2 (35:10):
Yeah, more cool?

Speaker 4 (35:11):
All right.

Speaker 1 (35:12):
I don't think the Celtics seen this AR, so I'm
excited to see how he looks against them. You know
what I'm saying, y'all playing so free?

Speaker 2 (35:19):
Yeah, let's look at.

Speaker 3 (35:20):
Jalen Brown points. He's averaging twenty nine a game. Do
we got more or less against the Lakers on Friday?

Speaker 2 (35:26):
I'm going more Jay Brown? Not hit the button on
the mob? Right? You going?

Speaker 1 (35:31):
I don't know if they got anybody that can guard him.
I'm looking at they they front line of they one,
two and three?

Speaker 2 (35:37):
Who what.

Speaker 1 (35:41):
Yeah, naha, Lebron, They're probably gonna put Brown on Brown.

Speaker 2 (35:47):
I gotta go more with JB. You think so? Yeah?

Speaker 1 (35:51):
I think he too athletic and too fast for everybody
they got that's back and guard too big for Ar. Right,
and when I seen I've seen how Brooks gave gave
them third, I'm like, JB definitely gonna get thirty.

Speaker 2 (36:05):
What's my boy? What's his name? Does Eppie? What's the
boy down in uh in Phoenix? Lesspie Connor Gillespie, Lessie.

Speaker 1 (36:14):
Cracking, he said, cracking he's solid, bro. Yeah, man, listen,
it's a bunch of where we need to get that cracking.

Speaker 3 (36:20):
This cracking too, all right, So you you guys both
have more on Jaylen Brown and more on Austin Reefs points.
Let's ticket one, let's go to ticket.

Speaker 2 (36:28):
All I gotta do is match ticket the rest of
the year. I win.

Speaker 1 (36:32):
I get the same answer if for the spliff we
be all fucked up? Right, go ahead, what's the next ticket?
Don't worry about it.

Speaker 3 (36:39):
MAVs come about?

Speaker 2 (36:40):
What's some new ones that's been man? Go ahead, Nate,
what was you saying?

Speaker 3 (36:44):
MAVs at thunder a point?

Speaker 2 (36:46):
More every night more for him? Yeah, he's gonna be
less noning more every night for him.

Speaker 1 (36:57):
Man, he get buddy to here, gonna get thirty every night?
And I said, down eleven fourth quarters already? The man
got is it too easy? And he ain't got ninety
ninety something games with over twenty you know that, right,
du He got a bag, Yeah, he got a bag.
Jordan ain't got a bag, Jordian. I didn't say Jordan'
have a bad he got a limited bag.

Speaker 2 (37:17):
That was ai. Go ahead, man, go ahead, give me more,
give me more.

Speaker 3 (37:22):
You both got more in SGA. Let's look at Cooper
flag more or less, he's average flag.

Speaker 2 (37:28):
I'm gonna less verse that defense. Really, yeah, damn, he
ain't gonna get say team, he don't get over twenty.

Speaker 1 (37:34):
I mean, I think that defense is elgue. It's gonna
be tough. Shit, that's gonna be tough. Really, they got
a lot of matchups. It's tough. They athletic, They they tough.
You got chat under there, just altering it's tough.

Speaker 2 (37:49):
M hmmm.

Speaker 1 (37:50):
I'm gonna say more. And that's the truth. And those
are my picks, and those are the tick picks for
the week.

Speaker 3 (38:01):
I want to ask you guys about Detroit. They're number
one in the East. They really turn turned the team
around the last two years. Jalen Duran's a player that
didn't come to a contract extension. Now he's betting on himself.
He's having an all star year. As we said, they're
number two over on the NBA and defense. The question
I have to you guys who are pros. What's something
that they're doing that fans don't see that's making them

(38:23):
so good this season?

Speaker 2 (38:25):
They look closer if I'm being honest, you go to
the huddles.

Speaker 1 (38:28):
I told you watch all that little minute shit, high fives, depth,
everybody got the listed to do.

Speaker 2 (38:33):
Anybody got you know what I'm saying, Watch all that.

Speaker 1 (38:35):
When you see teams coming off the bench, on the
benches excited. Bro, they've grown together again. Another year together again,
another year to tolerate again. And each year you don't win,
you get closer and closer. Bro. Not only are they young,
but they are pushing each other. They look jab got
them just playing, Bro, they look free. Ain't nobody thinking
about nothing, you know what I'm saying. Like, I like

(38:57):
young teams like this.

Speaker 2 (38:58):
You know what I'm saying.

Speaker 1 (39:00):
He got a young superstar over there that won't sit,
you know what I'm saying. And the twins, Man, I
love both of them.

Speaker 2 (39:06):
Twins.

Speaker 1 (39:06):
They so versatile. You can put them in so many
positions to be you know. And and what's my man
who shoots a little quick shooting for Miami.

Speaker 3 (39:14):
Duncan Robinson, he fix it perfect for that.

Speaker 2 (39:16):
Yeah.

Speaker 1 (39:17):
And then Ivy when he comes back, because I know
he just either coming back or getting ready to come
back from injury.

Speaker 2 (39:21):
They're just gonna make all that. Man.

Speaker 1 (39:23):
I like that young team. They got a good, hungry,
young team. They built like Detroit. I like them, man, Well,
what they've done they added add on. So they've added
some veterans to go at their youth movement to bias
over there. Yeah, when you add Tobias and Duncan, guys
who've been around the block, kind of settled the locker
room down, who've been indep playoff runs, who's been around

(39:43):
great cultures that add to the young superstars. You create
a good balance. Now, they built on everything they did
last year when they made it to the playoffs.

Speaker 2 (39:56):
They played Uh who did they lose to Detroit? Detroit?

Speaker 3 (40:02):
They played They lost the Celtic recently.

Speaker 1 (40:05):
No in the playoffs last year. The next yeah, they
played the Knicks. Well they lost. That was a good
series and we know, uh, what's the name got fouled
at the end, but they didn't call it then. Well,
but and then go ahead. You got Caney taking.

Speaker 2 (40:23):
The next step twenty eight game this year.

Speaker 1 (40:27):
He's taking the step that we want that you said
you wanted Polo ben Carol to take. And they're accepting, Okay,
this is our leader for show hands down and during
us taking another step. And they got a great balance
of young and Vats with great coaching over there and

(40:48):
with the East being wide open, bro, they can grow,
They can grow. They are And I said that when
I watched them last year, like because nobody I didn't
see him being number one in the East right now,
because we thought it was a two team race with
the Cleveland and New York gets.

Speaker 3 (41:02):
Who the top two teams in the eastar were twenty.

Speaker 2 (41:04):
Two games in Toronto and Detroit.

Speaker 3 (41:07):
We wouldn't have thought that and Toronto young.

Speaker 2 (41:12):
Ingram looks like he got his fire back. Well, he
was hurt last year, so he got Like.

Speaker 1 (41:18):
In New Orleans, he just when he played, he just
he's kind of floated a lot because he was All
Star one year and then you know he kind of floated.
But now he looked like he like motivated. He like, man,
I got a young team out here. He looked like
he's gonna be in an All Star Game again this year.

Speaker 2 (41:33):
In the East.

Speaker 1 (41:34):
Raptors cracker and the Rafts are cracking. They look like
they can do something. They are cracking out of here, cracking.
They played hard quickly. You remember all them guys, Scotty
barn Stoody Barns. Yeah, it's doing it's up, Grady dizzle.
But like we said, dizzel over there again Grady.

Speaker 4 (41:57):
Right right?

Speaker 2 (41:59):
What hey t Yo the sixth lip.

Speaker 1 (42:02):
Boyzo Brady Dizzel My guys kids, dizzel dizzel.

Speaker 2 (42:08):
Over that getting work. That's crazy, right, you know what
I'm saying.

Speaker 1 (42:13):
I like too, though, Tyo, Man, ain't listen, Ain't none
that euc coming out of the East.

Speaker 4 (42:18):
Man.

Speaker 1 (42:18):
It's just like we said, Pete, listen, can Detroit or
Toronto really come out of the East?

Speaker 2 (42:24):
They can't?

Speaker 1 (42:24):
Bro steam bro they showing you because ain't no, it
ain't no more. Wait till the second half to catch y'all.
Ain't no teams like that are like the Seas. You know,
teams that's been together for a while.

Speaker 2 (42:35):
All that's.

Speaker 1 (42:36):
Man, I don't see none of that no more. You
think the Seas can cause a real ruckus in the East.
I think like all them young teams at the top,
that they got to see the Seas in the first round.

Speaker 2 (42:47):
That's gonna be. That's gonna be tough.

Speaker 3 (42:49):
Second seed to nineteen is a three game difference, so
it can fluctuate.

Speaker 1 (42:52):
The Seeds can put a wrench in somebody. You gotta
grow up, You gotta grow up sometimes they got they
got championship experience over there, yep, and they showing it
because they didn't got some great wins.

Speaker 2 (43:02):
They be in the span of like a week they
beat who they just.

Speaker 1 (43:06):
Beat Detroit, Detroit and New York. Yeah, the top teams. Yeah,
the span in the span of like a week and
a half, they did that. So I'm like, oh, jb
is looking like a serious MVP candidate. Nobody talking about
that hinder button because everybody wrote the Seas off. He
keeping them afloat. And I love the job that I'm
seeing over there with Missoula, Sam Cassell. They doing a

(43:30):
wonderful job because we looked at the Seas like take
this year off playing hard.

Speaker 2 (43:33):
Man, pitchers picked it up. I think a lot of
guys has picked it up. Obviously.

Speaker 1 (43:36):
You get guys this next next guy up right, So
you know, guys are just you know, have an opportunity
to be out here. Man. They got some young guys
that they're developing, and I like them, so yeah, I
said I'd anticipate. You know, when you have a coach
like Joe Missoula, your team starts to play and identify.

Speaker 2 (43:55):
With the coach.

Speaker 1 (43:56):
Take on the coaches, the identity, so you already know
they're gonna play hard, they play the right way, and
they gonna get them threes up, you know what I'm saying,
taking over the game, scoring in bunches, you know, dominating quarters,
that's what it's about. Any playing defense, That's another thing
nobody talking about. That's what makes Detroit really good too.
They play defense straight up. It's gonna be aration to

(44:21):
east Man like outside of Okay. See, this is about
as wide open as the NBA can get right now,
as far as on the Eastern Conference and then the
Western Conference. Outside of ok See, you got the Lakers,
You got Houston, Phoenix, Denver Phoenix is shocking people right now.
And then when when win being dow, I'm gonna get healthy.

(44:41):
San Antonio's gonna be a threat man in a playoff series.

Speaker 2 (44:45):
Gotta get here, got it, should have could have wood have.
We got to see it first.

Speaker 1 (44:48):
I don't want to hear all that what you're gonna
could a should have known almost get you as first.

Speaker 3 (44:53):
Only lost two games since Wenby's been out here.

Speaker 1 (44:55):
You know, you see a lot of players playing, you
seeing teams play better without their star player.

Speaker 2 (45:00):
You see in Orlando. That's a sign of how good
they can be. That's a sign of how good the
team really is. Out God damn. Yeah.

Speaker 1 (45:09):
Man, when you're a star and you injured and your
team play well, how do you feel or how does
that look? Or how does your mindset? How do you
approach when you come back on how to like play
when you like see that? Okay, when you get a
chance to sit back, say you out for two three
weeks and you sit back the team playing well, how

(45:32):
is it like as a star to come back and
be like, damn, I got it?

Speaker 2 (45:35):
Is it like I gotta keep doing what I do?
Or do you find a way to fit in?

Speaker 1 (45:39):
How is that?

Speaker 2 (45:39):
What do you think that is? Ticket?

Speaker 1 (45:41):
Like, how do you how would you mentally get back
into the flow of what everybody's doing when you was out?
So if I was out and we was losing, real shit,
I'm just and then when I went out we started rolling,
I would be a selfish ask person if I came
back trying to get myself off. Yeah, Like, if I'm
not sitting there in those two weeks and I'm watching

(46:02):
how this whole thing flowing, I gotta get in that flow.
Whatever flow they in. That's that's the flow there. And
guess what, whoever's killing for them for the time they
killing it, go ahead, you milk that because what you
know is that when you're used to the being the
guy and killing and when you're not man, you got
to have a certain type of pedigree and stamina to

(46:24):
be that. So usually guys when they when they're not
used to that position, you know, when you say, hey, Ta,
you got the juice now, and for like two three weeks,
TA had juice, right, get in another month, right. So
I'm only saying that to make a reference to when guys,
when you do go out, God's gonna step up and
it's up to you to come back and fit in

(46:44):
that flow. Then I would say, that's the best way
coming back. And then all of a sudden you come in,
you stopping the ball and you're getting off, and you know,
you're fifty fifty some of that shit you making, some
of that shit you're not, some of shit you play making.
You just fucked up the whole flow. That would be
my tape when I come back and now I was hurting.
I came back and mother was going, I would like, okay,
so what you need me to do. Okay, y'all said

(47:05):
more people, and I would just jump right into whatever
the group was going with the flow. That's what I'm
seeing from and I didn't think I would see that
from Lebron. I see Lebron doing that because Lebron ain't
never had to fit In fact, it's always been shaped around.
He never had to be a piece, you know what,
formed around. So like since he been back, he been
fitting in. And that's kind of like because I didn't

(47:25):
think it works. But like if he's if he's mentally
gonna do that, then the Lakers are gonna be a problem.
But if he's comes and he says, all right, this
is still my team, and I don't believe he think
it's his team, but he still gotta be like, at
least after Luca, because what Reeves is doing, he's taking
over second command.

Speaker 2 (47:43):
Yeah, he's at the rees.

Speaker 1 (47:46):
And I'm like, d if Lebron can just say, hey,
I'm gonna chill and let them carry us through the
regular season, and I'm gonna play like a kind of
like a Draymond Green, you know what I'm saying, where
I'm gonna do be a utility man where I'm gonna
do a little everything just to help us win. If
he keep that mindset, then the Lakers it can be danged.

Speaker 2 (48:03):
I call that possum. I call that possum.

Speaker 1 (48:07):
You know. That's hard to do, though, And that's hard
for a god his magnitude to do because usually when
superstars get to that level, they like, now, I ain't
playing that role.

Speaker 2 (48:16):
I'm still the guy. You know what I'm saying.

Speaker 1 (48:18):
It's hard mentally to like adjust to that because I
have seen so many superstars when they come to that
the end, it's hard for them to just to that
mindset that they got to play a secondary third or
fourth or off the bench roll. And for him, the
caliber and who Lebron is because we never saw we
never seen nobody his caliber do that. But get it
fucked up. He can break a play. He just he

(48:40):
he he's going with the flow. Yeah, he going with
the flow, going with the flow. Like he can't get
off the board, come down. That's what I'm saying. His
days are like twenty shots a night.

Speaker 2 (48:52):
They don't need that.

Speaker 1 (48:53):
And listen, I don't think he womps that. I think
he womps what he doing? He he listen, Yeah, yeah, bro,
he giving everybody the possum. He he blowing your ass
to sleep. You forget the mother. Yeah, he is forty
three years forty something. You know what I'm saying, all
this ship right, man, ship, hit the button on your motherfucker.

Speaker 3 (49:10):
Man four and one with Brown in the lineup, That's
what I'm saying. And that's where we are with Brown.

Speaker 2 (49:17):
Yeah. I thought, you know, like it wouldn't work.

Speaker 1 (49:19):
If he came back, like I'm still first second team.

Speaker 2 (49:22):
He doing it right, He doing it right. Guess what
there's gonna be one night they're gonna have to tap
him and he's gonna have to go in the booth.
He's gonna have to go dinner. No, no, he goes
save it.

Speaker 1 (49:31):
Because maybe not because Luca can give it to you
every single night for eighty.

Speaker 3 (49:35):
Two thirty five a night for Lucas.

Speaker 2 (49:38):
Looking like I can keep carrying. Get Fen's got it
in your store down saying Phoenix K is giving them
a good push.

Speaker 1 (49:47):
He's giving them and he's giving up. I hope they
give a y'all some real money because he's playing like
it right. But I'm just talking about when we get
to this playoffs, that's when I'm looking at a y'all, So.

Speaker 3 (49:56):
I want to ask you a R is having his
best season, his fifth year in the lead. He turned
out a four year, eighty five million dollar deal. Looks
like he could possibly get two hundred million this year.
Is he an all star to you guys right now?

Speaker 1 (50:07):
Yeah, he's the number two option on the Lakers. Hell yeah,
Austin Reeves is playing at a a at a superstar level.

Speaker 3 (50:15):
But is this is apex?

Speaker 2 (50:17):
Is this the best?

Speaker 1 (50:18):
But this is where he's gonna be judged that He's
gonna be judged on his playoffs, you know, as good
as he looks right now, because what we saw last
year in the playoffs, people was like, he's not it.
But to his credit, that was his first playoffs really
to where he had the spotlight on him and he
had to run into a you know, a championship caliber

(50:40):
team like Denver. So now we got to see what
you do in the playoffs, because if the Lakers don't
resign him, somebody's gonna give him that money, you know
what I'm saying. Else, I think he's a great number
two or three guy on a championship team. He can't
go to the Pelicans and be the number one option
down there.

Speaker 2 (50:59):
Yeah, I could go to the Pelicans to be the
number one option down there right now, No.

Speaker 1 (51:04):
Way, you can't go to the G League beating number one.
Get it together, let's get together, Let's let's get the
let's get Bakers feel Lakers. Give you a nine day,
Bakers feel Lakers. If you're all listening to what is
it South Bay Lakers, you don't even know what the
shit out you feel?

Speaker 2 (51:22):
What I'm saying. The Bakers don't know.

Speaker 1 (51:27):
South Bay? Sorry, shout to South Bay? Right, p Piers
won a nine day, not a ten day. You want
a nine day, We're gonna get seven day, alright, cool,
talk about them. You're gonna see them young boys in there. Boy,
I'm telling you, calm down, man, you trip it. Put
some respect on the Pelican's name, man McQueen. Down there,

(51:47):
young boys, gion right, they got to earn respect to
get respect.

Speaker 2 (51:52):
Come on now, come on.

Speaker 1 (51:54):
Now, Utah, Yeah, shout to Utah, Utah. Why I'm telling
you what about Utah? Man?

Speaker 2 (52:02):
Listen, they got some young boys. They got some young
guys coming. Boy. You know what I'm saying.

Speaker 1 (52:06):
I told you, I told you boy, what's my man
marketing down there. I'm telling you, boy, you're coming. They
got some good young I like the young. I like
my boy from my Rutgers, a young kid.

Speaker 2 (52:19):
I like some of the young. They coming, Lord.

Speaker 1 (52:21):
They on that same trajectory that you was talking about
with the OKC. They got that same kind of trajectory, Bro,
I'm telling you, they got a little full five.

Speaker 2 (52:29):
They got to develop a little bit.

Speaker 1 (52:31):
They and they in the position where they got a
lot of guys trying to prove who they are in
the league right now, you mean established themselves. Yeah, you
know what I'm saying. And you know they all trying
to get you know, that first contract. I'm trying to
see who I am. Get some money and then let's
see what's going to be this. Yeah, they want me
to be this right. Yeah, that's where they are right now.
That's why they not. He should get two hundred. They
all should get two hundred. Real, he ain't he gonna

(52:53):
be an All Star this year.

Speaker 3 (52:54):
It's a good bet on yourself moment for Fording.

Speaker 1 (52:57):
And definitely he definitely over doubled it. He definitely doubled
his money.

Speaker 2 (53:01):
He should have. He should have been signed like last year.
Some ship it should have.

Speaker 1 (53:06):
So the other day, p we want to pour some
quotes from you, and your quote was that you thought
Michael Jordan had a very limited bag like you did
spand on that. Well, in today's you're talking about today's game.
In today's game.

Speaker 2 (53:20):
Okay, so.

Speaker 1 (53:22):
You analyze the Michael Jordan's game in today's game, right, Okay, Yeah,
that needs that needs to be said. Yeah, that's why
I was kind of taken out of it. The context
we just put it in. We put it in the
ball now okay. Yeah, so in today's game, day's game,
like what's considered a bag is like and that's like
no real set definition of it because you just look

(53:43):
like you look at guys when you say, all right,
who got a bag in the league, you instantly go
to like Kyrie James Harden. But these is god who
need multiple moves to get cracking. Like Jordan didn't need
multiple moves. He just right by you one you will
pull up fade away, you know for that error that
was great. Like now it's a one on one league

(54:06):
to where it's like you really gotta like to get
by your man on the switches and everything, or if
you're not sixteen shooter, Like like Wemby got a bag.
It's crazy some of the moves he do. You know
what I'm saying, And that's what it was meant, Like
Jordan had a bag for his error. I was taking
it into context for this error when they because people

(54:26):
say the greatest, the number one scorer in league history,
don't have a bag. When they say Lebron, but he's
the number one score, you know what I'm saying. That's
what they say. They like, Lebron has no bag, but
he has fifty thousand points, you know, so what they
consider a bag, I feel like it's like yo yo

(54:47):
yo yo counter to a counter or to a counter,
Like if you got that, you got a bag. Would
you say today's scores are better scores than the past? Nah,
I wouldn't say that. I think it's easy the score
because of the rules, you know, because when you like,
I think we were more downhill.

Speaker 2 (55:07):
You know what I'm saying.

Speaker 1 (55:08):
I think we they took out the mid range Lord,
so they took out the mid range in the post.
So if you a three level scorer, you have to
have mid range post three, you know, pick and roll
like that, Like, so how can you say they the
big men can shoot threes. Now, okay, the big man
didn't shoot threes in our era, in the era before.

Speaker 2 (55:29):
I think when you look at guys like.

Speaker 1 (55:33):
Tracy Vince, Ray Iverson, like Daw them guys will be
unstoppable in this era, you know they would. They didn't
settle for threes. They was getting fifty sixty points with
like two threes.

Speaker 2 (55:47):
And you think those guys you just named had a
deeper bag than Mic.

Speaker 1 (55:52):
Vince I think had a deeper bag than Mic because
he can do everything Mike and do and a little
and his threes was more.

Speaker 2 (56:00):
We're talking about Michael Jordan too. Yeah, Michael Jordan.

Speaker 1 (56:03):
His bag was athletic bag, Like nobody had a better
athletic bag. Like in the air he did too many
things like like it's aerial bag, and we just we're
talking about a floor bag. If you take away everybody's athleticism,
everybody's like you have no athleticism. Now, who could get

(56:23):
the most? You can score the most over the place
right now? No, if you just took away athleticism, who
can score the most?

Speaker 2 (56:30):
I'm trying to follow you sound crazy.

Speaker 1 (56:32):
No, let's just say who's the best score you would say,
Kyrie's up there, who's a what Like if you said
nobody can just jump from free throw and jump, it's
just your athleticism is gone.

Speaker 2 (56:43):
Who's who can get money like me?

Speaker 1 (56:46):
As explosiveness and leticism what you want to call it,
Like you look at guys like kd. You look at
guys like Harden, you look at guys like Kyrie, you
look at guys like Shay.

Speaker 2 (57:01):
You know what I'm saying.

Speaker 1 (57:03):
So I'm so I'm gonna say this in today's game,
I would think that, Yeah, yeah, I was trying to
follow you. Like people say Auntie Tacopo average is thirty,
he has no back.

Speaker 2 (57:19):
Well, you know what I'm saying, I don't know who
these people are, and I don't know if these people
even know basket.

Speaker 1 (57:24):
If you take away his dunks, if you can't dump.

Speaker 2 (57:26):
I'm crazy.

Speaker 1 (57:27):
He has a turnaround jump, he has a mid range,
he has a three party. I'm talking about Johnny's.

Speaker 2 (57:32):
You just think bro to say say to say these
guys feet that what I am trying to define the
definition of bag.

Speaker 1 (57:41):
That's the definition of bag to me is having a
Roger moves to get to the cup or score the
ball period to say Michael Jordan has a limited bag,
but he was arguably the best score in our history.
Is what the fuck is the definition of a bag?

Speaker 2 (57:55):
Then?

Speaker 1 (57:56):
And then, if I'm being honest, it's like so many
different ways off he's Biggas today they don't even know
how to score a nigga have a move and then
bring it back and remix it. And it's a bunch
of that. Bro, We're talking about putting.

Speaker 2 (58:07):
A ball in a bucket. They call a bag though, Bro,
I'm talking about the essence of scoring the ball.

Speaker 1 (58:14):
Yeah, mj his bag was one two, three, pull up,
one dribble, pull up, getting by you, dunking the ball, three.

Speaker 2 (58:20):
Ball, whatever the fuck, spin postshit, what however you want it?

Speaker 1 (58:25):
Lord? Like hot, like y'all said, I'm crazy on here,
is based around your handle, Man, what are you talking about?

Speaker 3 (58:32):
The internet feels like it is. And that's why I
wanted you to set that.

Speaker 1 (58:35):
I think I'm bad these niggas who got a nigga
and beat them and then remix it.

Speaker 2 (58:41):
Bring it back to me that that's incompetence. Now you
play it. That is a whole nother thing. It's like
based around how people who know to score the ball.
Score the ball. They don't play with food.

Speaker 1 (58:51):
Like, if you can get to the cup and dunk
the ball, you dunk it every time, right, So if
you can you do that, all right?

Speaker 2 (58:56):
Cool?

Speaker 1 (58:56):
If he cuts you off, you can cross them over
it boom right, A bad just being able to be
in traffic and make a traffic decision and boom you
make it right there. You know, I faced up, boom,
he went middle. I saw the middle. I gave it
so and then on top of it, Michael Jordan was
one of the more aggressor offensive players. Oh man, can't
nobody guard that motherfucker to day. Mike would grab your
face if you tried to jump before him. Bro, just

(59:18):
think of grab your arm Mike Man. Listen, man, I'm sorry.
I respect every era and I'm gonna keep respecting every era.
Y'all need to go back and watch some of that
young Mike Jordan. Y'all need to go watch that Mike
Jordan who went up against Larry Bird. You know I'm
talking about that went up against the Pistons and with
physical play. By the way, Aaron was downhill and when
he needed the three, he could hit a three and

(59:39):
he hit game winners, and he came.

Speaker 2 (59:41):
Back from fifteen down in the fourth and yeah, man
what and then he was a goom y'all got me
fucked up in here.

Speaker 1 (59:52):
Boy, y'all there put some respect on Mike name what
stop saying goofy shit man, that's goofy as hell.

Speaker 2 (59:57):
Mike Jordan ain't got a bad peak, man, stop man.

Speaker 1 (01:00:00):
Nobody said he ain't had no bad said he had
a limited bag because he didn't need a bag. He
was so a definition of bag, Atlantic definition of much
better that he can just one dribble pull up on you.

Speaker 2 (01:00:14):
Definition of bag.

Speaker 1 (01:00:16):
I think it has something to do with like you
gotta take twenty dribbles and get the moves off the score.
That's what this air is. I can care less about
a bag. I ain't saying not having a bag ain't good.

Speaker 2 (01:00:26):
Man.

Speaker 1 (01:00:26):
You gotta have a bag if you're scoring anything on
the twenty thousand and thirty thousand, Bro, you gotta have
a bag, you understand, because they're gonna put the best
stopper on.

Speaker 2 (01:00:34):
Have a bag. Shock had a bag, shots one out dunk,
Shaq had a jump hook a left.

Speaker 1 (01:00:40):
Hand, had a bad fuck out of here. Okay, That's
what I'm saying. Shock dunked the ball majority of the time, but.

Speaker 2 (01:00:46):
He had a jump. Hok, he had a left hand.
He had a motherfucker a fight away. What you talking about? Dreamhand? Move?

Speaker 1 (01:00:53):
Like?

Speaker 2 (01:00:54):
Bro, you don't even bro, you just what are you saying? Bro?

Speaker 1 (01:00:57):
You all over the spectrum. I'm trying to follow you,
but I don't know what you're saying. Mike Jorday, how
you get?

Speaker 2 (01:01:02):
How you get?

Speaker 1 (01:01:03):
How you get twenty thousand points? You got a bag
man with the best defender on you. By the way,
in the eighties and early nineties, when they was knocking
the shit out your heads.

Speaker 3 (01:01:13):
Could we establish if you're at the top of the
scouting report and you're finding a way to score twenty
five thirty, you got a bag? You got a bag?

Speaker 2 (01:01:20):
Absolutely. You got to know.

Speaker 1 (01:01:21):
Well, we got to ask this new generation, okay, because
the new generation defines it different. The new generation. I
think he got a bag. But the way they say
it is like not educated. Go do y'all education first.

Speaker 3 (01:01:31):
While they come here.

Speaker 2 (01:01:32):
I'm doing this based off the based off the new generation,
by the way.

Speaker 3 (01:01:36):
Okay, so more context that you based off of what
the narrative is.

Speaker 2 (01:01:40):
You know, spoken to so many young people, you speaking
for them? No, I'm just going on what they say. Man,
I'll go to the next question.

Speaker 3 (01:01:47):
All right, let's talk about let's talk about a team
that has a bag, the OKC Thunder. They've won thirteen
in a row. The beginning of the season, we were
talking about could they win seventy four games? So I
want to ask you guys again, as she has sat
eleven fourth quarters so far this season, So where do
we stand on okay, see potentially breaking the all time
wins record.

Speaker 1 (01:02:06):
Yeah, if they stay healthy of okay, see stays healthy.

Speaker 2 (01:02:10):
That's all they need is health. That's it.

Speaker 1 (01:02:13):
Because nobody's beating them. They're like so much better than everybody.
Right now, it's bad. It's scary. It's scary. It's almost like,
what are you add to this? You don't ad anything
that is right?

Speaker 2 (01:02:26):
No, you don't.

Speaker 1 (01:02:26):
They don't know what's the number twenty five? The little
guard he came in nowhere. He was her last year
case and no, no, no, not case.

Speaker 2 (01:02:35):
So Mitchell, Mitchell, he came out of nowhere. You see him.
He's fifteen again, Listen, he could go somewhere and start
right now. You know, what I'm saying, like three year,
eight eight, they got the man for eight men. He
might be the most underpaid super duper.

Speaker 1 (01:02:52):
He ain't here like I gotta have it. He ain't
cracking because he's killing. He killing, Oh, he killing killing? La?

Speaker 2 (01:03:00):
What the average fifteen fifteen? That's killing? Yeah, when you
come up the bench, nigger hate that. What I saideeen
is killing, not the way you share. He killing. Motherfucker
not to know him.

Speaker 1 (01:03:15):
He's not killing. Last year he said we got to
bring that. I'm talking about this kid. For this kid
to have fifteen, Yes, it's killing for him. He's not
the league with team that's killing.

Speaker 3 (01:03:25):
No, situationally killing.

Speaker 1 (01:03:26):
I said, situationally this kid right here, this kid right here,
Mitchell coming in having fifteen a game. That's it's cracking. Yeah,
he's cracking. He was not in the scoting for it.
Nobody knew nothing.

Speaker 3 (01:03:37):
League and he played, you know, sixteen minutes a game
last year in the show thirty six games.

Speaker 2 (01:03:41):
Listen when he come in the game, he about the business.
He ain't fucking around. Ain't none of that. Let me
get into it now. I'm ah ha, he right to it. Pete. Yeah,
I love his demeanor. Bro he cracking. Yeah, young fellow man.

Speaker 3 (01:03:52):
So who's the team then that could stand in the
way of Okase repeating if.

Speaker 1 (01:03:56):
There's only one team that can stand in that way,
and that's the Denver Nuggets because they have the best player,
and they have the pieces and they have championship experience.

Speaker 2 (01:04:05):
I agree with that. That's a good one. That's a
really good one.

Speaker 1 (01:04:08):
And yeah, I was and they took him to seven
games last year. Then it hurt Aaron Gordon's game seven.

Speaker 2 (01:04:16):
Ye, that's what I'm saying. Gordon hurt again too. That's crazy.

Speaker 1 (01:04:18):
But I like, I like, I like what the madicis
that never made to peak and they developed it because
my guy Washington, Peyton Wathington is starting to step up.
He starting He's giving them good numbers defensively, off he's
looking like a good uh prospect developing. And then when
Bron come back, you know he's been doing he's dealing
with injuries.

Speaker 3 (01:04:37):
They they said seven guys in double figures on Nuggets.

Speaker 2 (01:04:40):
They built to be They're the only team built to beat. Okay, see, no, Houston,
you don't think he's so many.

Speaker 1 (01:04:46):
No, Minnesota, I need more time to watch them because
I like, like Houston don't have the depth to compete
right now. They got the upfront, they got it, but
and then they don't have the if they were lying
on the young guy to come off the bench, the
young guy from Kentucky to guy the Shepherd to give
him a lift off the bench in a playoff situation,

(01:05:09):
and like, you.

Speaker 2 (01:05:09):
Know what I'm saying, ready for that, That's what I'm saying.
I thought he was gonna be the starting point guard.
They got him.

Speaker 1 (01:05:14):
Yeah, he off the bench and he's like their top
bench and he ain't here trying to get it though.
He ain't trying to like you know, you get when
you get like in the second round conference finals, and
you're relying on his consistency, it's gonna be tough on him,
you know what I'm saying.

Speaker 2 (01:05:27):
So that's why I say the depth. You know, everybody
got the fleet out the whole year. Ye, the whole year,
the whole year. That's what I'm saying.

Speaker 1 (01:05:34):
He ain't gonna get Chris Paul would be a bad
thing right now, Pete Man coming off the bench, I go, Man, Man,
s I don't know if that's fuck all that. Throw
some bread at that little motherfucker. Man, come over here,
and you know what I'm saying, it's another piece they
can use, like maybe like a who somebody gonna pick Chris.

Speaker 2 (01:05:56):
I don't think they don't think like that.

Speaker 1 (01:05:58):
It was somebody that I saw the other day. It
was a point guard.

Speaker 2 (01:06:01):
Damn.

Speaker 1 (01:06:02):
I was like, Houston, can use I think of it
in a second. And I was like, man, he's over there, lost,
I think of it in a second. Hey my nigga,
you you excited about your roast coming up? Boy, got
all star roast coming up?

and they getting you know, you know what I'm saying. No,
but I'm I'm excited to see.

Speaker 2 (01:06:33):
What come of it. You know what I'm saying. It's
funny you letting people embrace it. Yeah, I'm man embracing
for sure.

Speaker 1 (01:06:39):

hundred four Hondey Englewood niggas in here making the guest scared.

it's gonna be a nice environment. It's gonna be loved. Right, Leave,
I got you, boom, Leave all the way. Leave, I
got you big boom. You know what I'm saying.
