Speaker 1 (00:00):
Fame.

Speaker 2 (00:01):
So whoa me? So woe? No need to feel sad
and bloom.

Speaker 1 (00:08):
Let Jones and a man to find love for you.

Speaker 2 (00:11):
We've moved this from the back burner to the front
burner and now it's on our favorite burner. We have
four well let's call them finalists. We've narrowed this down
to four people. We're going to find out more about
them in the coming weeks. And Jonesy, you and I
are going to put on our matchmaking hats and pants
and gloves and fill outfit all outfit and find loved.

Speaker 1 (00:30):
So we'll have to get down to spotlight this week.

Speaker 2 (00:32):
It's all about a Laura. Now you meta Laura. She's
thirty one. She's very much hard on her sleeve. She's
a teacher, but she also is a professional mermaid. We
thought we'd get to know her a little bit better.
Welcome to the studio with Laura.

Speaker 1 (00:46):
She's here. I did. He comes everywhere with me.

Speaker 2 (00:50):
He is spectacularly beautiful. This is a border colleague. What's
his coloring? Red mell So he's got these incredible blue eyes.
Does he go every with you? Is your best mate?

Speaker 1 (01:01):
Yes? Definitely?

Speaker 2 (01:02):
So someone's going to love you.

Speaker 1 (01:03):
They have to love you. I think the dog's going
to get you over the line.

Speaker 2 (01:08):
If someone doesn't love that dog, there's something wrong with them.

Speaker 1 (01:10):
You'd be satan. Do not like?

Speaker 2 (01:13):
Well, we don't want to make you up with Satan.
So let's go through some questions just to so everyone
gets a sense of what kind of thing you're looking for. So,
if you were to describe your dream guy, who would
that be?

Speaker 1 (01:25):
I think that sounds so funny.

Speaker 3 (01:27):
But like long hair, smart, like good smile, somebody tall, slim.

Speaker 1 (01:32):
I'm not for the buff muscle type.

Speaker 3 (01:34):
Thing, like the buff muscle up guy. Somebody that's actually
able to use their muscles for something as opposed to
just looking at them in the mirror.

Speaker 1 (01:45):
Okay, you don't want to poser, No, this is good.

Speaker 2 (01:48):
And what's something that a future partner should know about
you before they'd fall in love with you? Apart from
the fact you have a beautiful dog, I've still got.

Speaker 3 (01:56):
More to keep going lot notes that I'm a teacher.

Speaker 2 (02:02):
I've got, of course, you've got notes.

Speaker 3 (02:04):
Funny, outgoing, adventurous, great banter, gentle, romantic, and gotta love
animals of course.

Speaker 2 (02:11):
M h all right. And if what's something that people
should know about you before expressing interest in you.

Speaker 1 (02:22):
I don't even know. Like I wear my heart on
my sleeve.

Speaker 3 (02:26):
I'm pretty gullible, so I take things it's got me
and someone's making a joke.

Speaker 2 (02:30):
Do you know that gullibles not in the dictionary?

Speaker 1 (02:32):
No, I've heard that.

Speaker 2 (02:35):
When we're matching you up with someone, what would you
like us to look out for to save you from
falling in love too easily with the wrong person.

Speaker 3 (02:44):
Somebody that doesn't have the right intentions. They've obviously got
to be an animal lover. Somebody that wants to be
with somebody like to start a family eventually.

Speaker 2 (02:54):
So you're looking for something very sincere and possibly long term. Yes, okay,
what gives you the biggest ick? What's something you go, look,
I really don't want that on the list, just so
we can help you here.

Speaker 3 (03:06):
Well, yeah, from past relationships. Somebody that is like rude
to workers or just like you know when you go
to the coffee shop and something doesn't go their way
and then massive ten.

Speaker 2 (03:16):
Yeah, okay, I.

Speaker 1 (03:19):
Like someone genuine.

Speaker 2 (03:20):
You can tell a lot about someone how they treat
you know, weight staff and things like that.

Speaker 1 (03:26):
Yes, yes, definitely.

Speaker 3 (03:27):
And passive aggressive hate that what you see is what
you get.

Speaker 1 (03:32):
Talk to me about it.

Speaker 2 (03:33):
Okay, all right, so an open communicator.

Speaker 1 (03:35):
Yes.

Speaker 3 (03:36):
Ye.

Speaker 2 (03:37):
In your past relationships, when you look back, now, what
do you what what stopped them working?

Speaker 3 (03:45):
I think it was because I was attracted to broken
people and I thought that I could be that special
person that could fix them.

Speaker 1 (03:52):
But you can't fix the world, Laura. You can't one day.
One day. You just got a lot with the children.

Speaker 2 (03:59):
Have you learnt so that that's not what's good for
you now?

Speaker 1 (04:03):
Yes? Definitely.

Speaker 3 (04:04):
I think in previous relationships I came at it from
I was looking for somebody to make me happy. So
it's like if you get two glasses half full and
put them together, that doesn't.

Speaker 1 (04:14):
Make a full glass.

Speaker 3 (04:15):
Necessarily, you've got to work on yourself and be happy
in yourself in order to enter a relationship for it
to work.

Speaker 2 (04:21):
And you feel you're at that point where now you've
done some work on yourself, when you're ready.

Speaker 3 (04:26):
Yes, I'm not one hundred percent of that point, but
I'm definitely more at that point than I was. I
think that everyone can continue to work on themselves each
and every day.

Speaker 1 (04:34):
This show is dedicated to you. This week, This is
going to be our happening. This is the one job
that we have to do here.

Speaker 2 (04:41):
Well, what happens is we are going to talk to
other people in your life this week, other people around you,
and they will give us an insight into who you
are and what you're looking for and what we need
to look for in a partner for you. And then
on Thursday, we're going to match you with someone. And
on Thursday you're going to go on a date. How
does that sound?

Speaker 1 (04:56):
But that haven't been on a date in years. I
hope you and Simba are read great.

Speaker 2 (05:02):
Okay, this is exciting. You sound wonderful. We're going to
do our best for you. If you are interested in Laura,
please let us know w s FM dot com dot au.

Speaker 1 (05:10):
Do it, do it, do it, do it. We'll do
our best for you.
