feel sad and gloom. Let Josie and the man to
find love for here.

Speaker 2 (00:11):
What started as something about married at first sight we
could do a better job than those experts has snowballed
into this giant ball of snow we see before that.
I love our chat's Brendon. That's right, Laura is our
first cab off the rank. She is finalist, number finalist.

Speaker 1 (00:27):
I tell you no, it sounds a bit confusion. She
she is our person number one.

Speaker 2 (00:31):
I like it.

Speaker 1 (00:32):
One of the data is in our human terrarium. That's right.

Speaker 2 (00:34):
And lots of people expressed interest in a Laura, thirty
one year old teacher, and she's also a professional mermaid.

Speaker 1 (00:40):
Lovely, lovely person. We had a lot of sea dogs
will get up.

Speaker 2 (00:46):
We whittled it down to Nick and Jack, who we
thought we're going to be right for her.

Speaker 1 (00:52):
We chose Nick.

Speaker 2 (00:53):
So last night Laura and Nick went on a date,
so we recorded some of it to a Laura in
a minute.

Speaker 1 (01:01):
But let's get into their first impressions.

Speaker 3 (01:04):
What was your fans impression? I think, well, my first
impression was when I heard you on the radio and
I loved that you loved Disney movie.

Speaker 1 (01:12):
And I also thought that you were Kiwi.

Speaker 2 (01:15):
Sorry about that.

Speaker 1 (01:15):
I can try and you want, I'm gonna try to
be a Keywi.

Speaker 2 (01:18):
I thought it was a Kiwi too when I know
ex accent. Yeah you like Kiwi's well, I've married one.

Speaker 1 (01:22):
Yeah, your interest was Pete.

Speaker 2 (01:25):
The thing is they did love Disney. They chatted for
about twenty minutes about Disney, and then they chatted about
the menu. I have a four to you like.

Speaker 3 (01:33):
I'm not much of a fan of olives, but I
love bread.

Speaker 2 (01:36):
Bread's Bread's good?

Speaker 3 (01:37):
You like bread?

Speaker 2 (01:37):
Breads?

Speaker 3 (01:38):
Crest? Should we? Should we get the warm artisans?

Speaker 1 (01:40):
Howday?

Speaker 3 (01:41):

not eaten out of places.

your favorite food?

Speaker 2 (01:57):
I prefer.

Speaker 3 (02:00):
If I have to, I'll eat a palma.

Speaker 1 (02:02):
If I have to, I can eat a parmer at
the drop of a hat. Bread sounds nice to bread?
How good is that?

Speaker 3 (02:08):
Well?

Speaker 2 (02:09):
Laura went to the loo a couple of times and Nick.
Nick did this to entertain himself.

Speaker 1 (02:15):
Change margin. I able to feeling and somebody's watch and
recording unique at all times.

Speaker 2 (02:27):
Yeah, don't ripple, because that's what you do when you're
on a date.

Speaker 1 (02:33):
Since they walk in three.

Speaker 2 (02:38):
The thing was the thing they had most in common
was how much they loved the steak. Yeah, this is
actually very good.

Speaker 3 (02:45):
I was so young.

Speaker 1 (02:47):
Yum, that's insane.

Speaker 3 (02:49):
That's like, that is insane.

Speaker 2 (02:50):
I didn't expect that to me. That's good.

Speaker 1 (02:52):
To be honest with you, I think it might be worst.
It it is.

Speaker 2 (02:56):
I never had steak that good before.

Speaker 3 (02:57):
This is the greatest take I've ever had in my life.

Speaker 1 (02:59):
So how'd you go to them?

Speaker 2 (03:01):
And the steak of the date?

Speaker 1 (03:02):
The stakh to both? Oh yeah, this sounds isn't he sweet?
It sounds like a nice CHEMERA he's glad he had
the date and the steak sounds like I'm a celebrity.
Get me out of here. How did she feel? It's
all up to a Laura.

Speaker 2 (03:19):
Now she's going to join us next and we're going
to phone Nick and I'm going to find out whether
this is going somewhere.

Speaker 1 (03:24):
Are we going to the next burner? On our stove
of dating ouch and Laura is here right now.

Speaker 3 (03:33):
Look at u.

Speaker 1 (03:34):
Hi, Now look at you? Look fresh? Oh yeah, very fresh.
I've never been up so early this week. We'll enjoy
it now.

Speaker 2 (03:43):
We just heard you chatting to Nick and it seemed
like a couple of big points that you had in common.

Speaker 1 (03:47):
You chatted for ages twenty minutes about Disney.

Speaker 3 (03:50):
Oh yes, yes, you can talk about Disney forever.

Speaker 1 (03:53):
I like that.

Speaker 2 (03:54):
And also the fact that both of you had checked
out the menu beforehand and then you both ordered the
same thing.

Speaker 1 (03:59):
Yeah.

Speaker 3 (04:00):
Well, we both tried some new new things and the
steak was absolutely delicious.

Speaker 1 (04:06):
That's what they do. It's so good.

Speaker 3 (04:09):
I highly recommend.

Speaker 1 (04:10):
Okay, good good. So did you did you feel a spark?

Speaker 3 (04:16):
He was lovely and he got me a flower which
was beautiful. But no, not really any spark.

Speaker 1 (04:20):
Not a spark, and you do need a spark, don't you?
To go to the next list. You look good together.

Speaker 2 (04:24):
I just saw that picture.

Speaker 1 (04:25):
You look fantastic. He looked like a rock star.

Speaker 3 (04:27):
He did. He had a very very awesome hair and
a sick jacket. I like that.

Speaker 1 (04:33):
Yeah, yeah, But you just didn't feel the chemistry. There
was like a like you got on well, but you
just didn't feel a yeah, just not a spark. Right.

Speaker 2 (04:41):
Well, he comes to the bit where we don't have
to let him know that to ring him. Okay, let's
do it.

Speaker 1 (04:47):
Let's do it, and we're he with you and it
doesn't have to be weird. Should you talk? How about
we smooth the waters?

Speaker 3 (05:04):
Hi? Nick? Hi? Hi?

Speaker 1 (05:06):
Nick is Jones and Amanda and A Laura here.

Speaker 3 (05:08):
How are you very well?

Speaker 2 (05:11):
We've just been talking about your date last night and
how lots of stuff you had in common and how
awesome your hair was in your jacket, and it seems
like there was a lot of great stuff going on.
Here's the bit though, that A Laura is going to
have to tell you what's the next bit that's going on?

Speaker 3 (05:28):
Hey? Nick Ka, you doing good?

Speaker 1 (05:30):
Nute you good?

Speaker 3 (05:31):
Thank you very early suffering a little bit, Thanks so
much for last night, and thank you for the rose.

Speaker 1 (05:37):
It was beautiful.

Speaker 3 (05:39):
Unfortunately I didn't quite feel the spark, but it was
absolutely lovely to meet you and share a delicious dinner together.

Speaker 1 (05:47):
That's fair enough.

Speaker 2 (05:48):
Had a great time, Adam, Are you okay with the
fact that this isn't going any further?

Speaker 3 (05:55):
It happens, it's all right.

Speaker 1 (05:56):
Did you feel that there was something there?

Speaker 3 (06:00):
Yeah? I had a great time, so I didn't think
there's anything not wrong with it, wrong with it all.

Speaker 1 (06:06):
So your feelings aren't too hurt, you're okay. Yeah, no,
and you've got a good steak.

Speaker 3 (06:12):
That's something. Oh yeah, it was a great stake, amazing.

Speaker 2 (06:17):
We could change the awkwardness just by talking about the restaurant,
how great it is, how good is that stay.

Speaker 1 (06:21):
It shouldn't be awkward because this is how life is.
And everyone thinks you're a great guy. A Laura.

Speaker 2 (06:26):
We think you're an amazing woman and we wish you
both all the best.

Speaker 1 (06:29):
But Jones, are you and I are matchmaking? Pants weren't fittings.

Speaker 2 (06:34):
I just thought you guys look great together that picture.

Speaker 1 (06:36):
We have to let it go, Brendan.

Speaker 2 (06:38):
But Nick, thank you for being part of this, mate,
and we wish you all the best in the future.

Speaker 3 (06:44):
Thank you very much.

Speaker 1 (06:45):
Well, you didn't find love, but you learn anything through this.

Speaker 3 (06:49):
Well, I had a lot of fun, and I think
I learned that dating isn't as scary as I build
it up to be. And if you're not feeling it,
you can just be straight up and honest and have
a conversation because we're all just people the end of
the day, and it wasn't as scary as I thought
it would be. Okay, good well, thank you so much
for the experience.

Speaker 1 (07:08):
You've got to go out on a Thursday night.

Speaker 3 (07:10):
I did. It has been since I was like eighteen
and Drayward.

Speaker 1 (07:13):
Was the thing. Laura, good luck, all right, thank you
so much.
