is in a genuine way. Although I must say we
haven't had much success so fast Laura and Nick.

Last week it just didn't work for us. I don't
know if game show, I don't know if we need
that right, I won't do anything there.

Well, this week it's all about Darryl, and we selected
Carrie to go on a date with him. Last night.
They went to Kingsley's beautiful steak restaurant, gorgeous. You know,
it must be pretty nerve wracking because they know that
we're recording the whole thing and they don't know each
other and they meet at the restaurant. Were they nervous?

I went to the florest and I googled on the
way home where the florist was and just happened to
be beside the credatorium. There you go, flowers from the crematorium.

Yeah, we didn't grab them from the crematorium before they
went in.

And she gave him some sharky socks. All right, so
things got off to a great start. Sounds what do
you think? It sounds to me like chemistry.

Speaker 3 (01:35):
There's a little bit of it. There's a little awkward chemistry,
but shy chemistry.

The thing that gets hard is when it comes to
order a meal, because this is where this is where
your likes and your dislikes are on full display. And
often when you're sharing meals or sharing sides, even when
you're going with your partner, this stuff can have you know, well,
what do you feel like blah blah blah imagining that
with someone you don't know but you're trying to impress.
Here's how they did it. Fries don't really talk it
for me. They like sprouts. Mushrooms are like mac and cheese.

Oh, I'm happy with the mushrooms and I always like

fat potatoes and share it all.

Okay, let's set up. There's a compromise. Daryl had said
he wanted someone who had no drama, and she was
quite plain. Here's what I like. Okay, let's compromise. Although
he did the compromising, but that's they are good signs,
so fun.

Speaker 2 (02:42):
That's what happens. That's what makes a relationship work. The
man compromises on everything, and you've got a happy wife,
happy wife, happy life.

Speaker 1 (02:49):
Don't start. Let's look, let's go back. This is the
beginning of what might be a relationship. We don't know.
Let's not hammer them with your old hoaxy for scrokesy stuff.

I'm just saying, I'm talking real.

You're talking your own life now. The conversation did get serious,
but even when they're talking about kind of the serious stuff,
they kept it light. You were married, was married, yep, kids, Mum,
we still have contact together.

Speaker 3 (03:14):
It's very amicable between us.

Speaker 1 (03:16):
How long have you been apart?

Speaker 3 (03:18):
About two and a half years there?

Splitt during COVID and she couldn't live.

you can hear them slurping divine. Wow, that's sauce. It's
just beautiful.

We don't know each other. Well, the laughter, the laughter, well, look,
it sounds like they had chemistry. I'm starting to get goosebumps.
