a number of times on TikTok. This woman, I bet
you'll love her voice.

Speaker 2 (00:58):
Brendon here, it's a Midwestern mom and me in asode
does salads that aren't really salads. And today we're making
Snickers salad. The salad that made me bemurs.

Speaker 3 (01:09):
Snickers salad. Snickers salads, Snickers bar, not Knickers salad. That's
a different thing. Okay, Snickers salad. The first ingredient is
instant pudding powder. Have you seen this stuff? It seems
to have been a lot of American recipes instant putting powder.
Where do you get pudding powder? Just got it that
was from the supermarket. Then you put in half a

(01:31):
it's six hundred meals of butter milk. Just put in
about three hundred.

Speaker 4 (01:35):
Meals butter milk.

Speaker 3 (01:36):
Do you reckon? That's a bit of butter bean? I
think that's about half.

Speaker 4 (01:39):
I remember when I used to watch Maxwell Smart the
chief would always drink it when he had his Also,
when Max upseting.

Speaker 3 (01:44):
There are lots of cakes and things have buttermilk. So
I'm whisking that together, whisky.

Speaker 4 (01:49):
Let's just get the microphone going on the whisk.

Speaker 3 (01:51):
Actually, you've got a job that you can do, right.
I've got a bag of peanuts and here is a
rolling pin. Can you smash them on? Crushed nuts? You
want me to bash nuts? Absolutely smashing moicschain HiPE. I
put enough buttermilk for a time.

Speaker 2 (02:06):
There's too much air in the nuts.

Speaker 3 (02:08):
So while i'm what I've got here, I'm mixing pudding,
powder and buttermilk. Then I add in bowl of chopped apples.
I've chopped up the apples, and I'm putting don't.

Speaker 4 (02:21):
Show off, what not shoving off. I'm just doing being me.

Speaker 3 (02:25):
I'm mixing this now with the apples panel. Oh you
split the bag my nut bag? Oh cricky. So look
at this, Look at this over here, this is where
it's really happening. I'm mixing in the chopped apples. Now
I also add in chopped up Snickers bars. How can
this not taste good? But it doesn't taste anything like

(02:46):
a salad I'm assuming, so I got in there, Come
on out of I've used a whisk, but too many solids.

Speaker 2 (02:57):
What are you there?

Speaker 3 (02:58):
So what I've all? If you listened, you know I've
put in the pudding, I'll put in buttermilk, I've put
in chopped apples, and I put in chopped snickers. Now
what I add is whipped cream, and I'm going to
need a bit of there's some whipped cream, but I've
also got some more whipped cream in a spray candy.
Looks a bit like deodorant. That's going and you're ready.

Speaker 4 (03:18):
Yep, that's a lot of cream.

Speaker 3 (03:21):
Well, this is a salad. That's this. You know, this
is what this recipe is. And I mixy, mixy, mixy.
What happens. Then let's have a look. I folded in
and then I'm going to top it with a drizzle
of chopped nuts. How you're going with the chopped and
some caramel, a drizzle of caramel, and then that'll be

(03:41):
our salad.

Speaker 4 (03:42):
I think you find those nuts have been bashed to
your satisfaction.

Speaker 3 (03:45):
Thank you, sir. All right, I'm going to put you've
split the bag. I'm putting in the knots and putting
in some if you need to caramel. Okay, Well, and
then when we come back, yep, we're going to eat
the Snickers salad. It's not as salad as we know it,
but I reckon it's going.

Speaker 4 (04:02):
To be delicious.

Speaker 2 (04:04):
TikTok Taka.

Speaker 3 (04:05):
I saw this on TikTok during the week, and I
know Brendan that you just love this kind of a woman.

Speaker 2 (04:11):
Oh hi, there, it's that Midwestern mom and me in
a soda. Salads that aren't really salads. Today we're making
Snickers salad, the salad that.

Speaker 3 (04:18):
Made me beavers.

Speaker 4 (04:19):
I'd rather listen to a masonry drill, drill into my head.

Speaker 3 (04:22):
Well, let's see how you like it when you've tasted it.
Sneaker salad sounds like a joke, But a lot of
people are making Snickers salad. What a bcdu crisis you
have there, America. Now the ingredients instant pudding powder, a
cup of buttermilk. Mix it well, whip it up. You
add chopped apples, chop Snickers bars. Mix that a whole
stack of whipped cream with some caramel topping. I've done that.

(04:46):
You only had one job, and that was to bash
the nuts.

Speaker 4 (04:49):
Bashing good.

Speaker 3 (04:50):
You put the nuts all over the desk. All right,
here's some Give that one to Ryan. Here you go,
Mate's bad time you ate some salad. There's a little
fork for you.

Speaker 2 (04:58):
Spoon You got a spoon there?

Speaker 1 (05:00):
Why is my spook dirty?

Speaker 3 (05:01):
Just just you know, I can tell the kid who
lives at home and gets his mum to get him
a use to take my phone? SPS dirty as well.
Jones used to scratch the pimples on his back. Well,
you know, when you look at the ingredients. I don't
know why it's called a salad, but when you look
at the ingredients, how could it not be delicied?

Speaker 4 (05:22):
That looks kind of appetized. Then we go, oh wow,
well that's off the hook, off the hook, off the shark,
off the hooks good? That is.

Speaker 3 (05:38):
Ryan.

Speaker 1 (05:39):
What do you think you could do without the apple?

Speaker 3 (05:43):
The apple not just crunch, but the apple makes it
in acidity. It is great. I'm going to have trouble
not eating all of this. That is spectacular.

Speaker 2 (05:56):
Who knew?

Speaker 3 (05:58):
Sneakers salad.

Speaker 2 (06:00):
It's that.

Speaker 4 (06:03):
Warm ice cream if that makes sense.

Speaker 3 (06:05):
It's not too sweet, No, it's quite really weird.

Speaker 4 (06:10):
It's like ice cream that's warm, and I can't explain that.

Speaker 3 (06:14):
Would that work if you froze it and sliced it up?

Speaker 4 (06:17):
I think it worked great.

Speaker 3 (06:18):
That is delicious, So bad for you. Not a salad,
but wonderful. Right, Three thumbs.

Speaker 1 (06:30):
Meat fall off the apologies to our friends and Tasmania
