Speaker 1 (00:00):
You started, what you do that you do it. There's
a fancy the moldy bacteria invested slab of meat fall off.
Speaker 2 (00:09):
The result too much tends to give your diary for
TikTok tuka. This is where we make food from TikTok
and eat it.
Speaker 3 (00:18):
Well, we're coming up to Easter, so I thought i'd
make an Easter pie. But this is an Easter pie
with the difference. If I don't have much of a
sweet tooth, but if for people who do, this is
going to be incredible. It's chocolate, chocolate, chocolate, chocolate and chocolate.
But what we start with is some pre made cookie dough.
You know how you buy it looks like a coalon
but your show. Okay, So I just cut out the
(00:40):
cookie dough and I'm going to go into the pan.
So I'm going to make a base for our pie
out of this big tube of cookie dough. Just get
it all out there. It looks like a you know what.
Speaker 2 (00:52):
That you after a piccolo? Goodness? May put all of
that in there.
Speaker 3 (00:58):
Yeah, And now what happens is I squished that down
to make a base for our cookie dough. We don't
want it too thick because the lid's going on as well.
I might actually need some more.
Speaker 2 (01:08):
What do you think, Yeah, you might have to cut
another one.
Speaker 3 (01:10):
Maybe I'll cut another one, Brendan, he's another one being cut.
Speaker 2 (01:13):
And what sort of cookie dough is that? Where's that from?
Speaker 3 (01:16):
It's Auntie cats chop chip cookie dough.
Speaker 2 (01:23):
Can't you well?
Speaker 3 (01:24):
I think I don't. Apparently you can, but you can't be.
Speaker 2 (01:27):
I think people do.
Speaker 3 (01:28):
People do eat, but you have to get specific ones
that can be eaten raw. I don't know if all
of them can. So what I'm going to do now,
I've taken the jewels off because I've got to press
this with my hands to make a base in this
fry pan, because this is going to go into the oven,
this big fry pan we've got here. Okay, so there's
the base.
Speaker 2 (01:46):
That's an okay, fry pan to put.
Speaker 3 (01:48):
Into enough, it's called a fry pan.
Speaker 2 (01:51):
But some handles aren't can't handle it.
Speaker 3 (01:54):
If you were if you were in will well, this
is the one we've got, Brendan. And that's what we.
Speaker 2 (02:00):
Ask you a question.
Speaker 3 (02:00):
So now I look at that, I've pushed the chocolate
chip cooky dough to make the bottom of the pie.
What I do now, is I get a packet of
cream eggs.
Speaker 2 (02:11):
I don't like those cream eggs.
Speaker 3 (02:12):
I don't care. And this is what the recipe says.
I open them up. Do you want to help me? Here?
We unpeel them in case this takes a while, I've
pre unpeeled some. We unpeel them and just put them
on the base. You don't chop them up, you just
put them on the base there. Yeah, so it's a
little egg. It's a chocolate egg, a cream egg, and
a unpeel.
Speaker 2 (02:32):
What's cream made of? I don't know.
Speaker 3 (02:34):
You sound like a two year old kid. What's the
cream made?
Speaker 2 (02:38):
I just want to know what I'm putting into my body.
Speaker 3 (02:41):
I haven't cared before. I'm doing by getting a burger
for breakfast. So anyway, look, we put these are big eggs,
aren't they.
Speaker 2 (02:47):
How many of those do you put on there?
Speaker 3 (02:49):
Well, we cover the base with them, that's what we do.
And next thing we do, so there's about or ten
of those. Next thing we do is I cover that
in the talent because there's not chocolate enough, We drive
a well, we drizzle n tella all over the top.
Yep of these cream eggs that are on top of
this cookie dough. And then actually you do that bit, Brendan,
(03:09):
because I've got to roll out some more cookie dough
for our lid. You drizzle. So with this, here's the
cooking tip that I've learned with the lid. You actually
you get the cookie dough onto baking paper and you
roll it out into a disc. At the bottom layer
you can just munch in the top one has to
be rolled out. So that's what I'm doing here. Cripes much?
(03:32):
What's that? What's happened?
Speaker 2 (03:36):
Just when you put the cookie dough out?
Speaker 3 (03:37):
So here it goes again, another big slunk of cookie dough.
You're putting the tella all over those eggs. So what
I do now is I start rolling this out with
a rolling pin.
Speaker 2 (03:49):
And what's this called? Again?
Speaker 3 (03:50):
This is called Easter Pie.
Speaker 2 (03:53):
She is my east Pi.
Speaker 3 (03:56):
I love how you love the lyrics. So this I'm
not doing very good job of. I've got the rolling
pin out. I got it from Blondie Bumstead.
Speaker 2 (04:05):
When Daryl comes home.
Speaker 3 (04:07):
Daryl Bum's dead.
Speaker 2 (04:08):
That wasn't his name was Daryl Bumstead? Was it darl Bumstead?
Speaker 3 (04:13):
You've often lusted after her, so I found it disturbing.
Speaker 2 (04:16):
She was drawn very well.
Speaker 3 (04:19):
Look, I'm not doing a very good job, but this
is going to have to do because we're running.
Speaker 2 (04:21):
Out of it. But how does that different from any
other week?
Speaker 3 (04:23):
So this looks like a map of Africa? So what
I do? I've got this and that's going to be
our lead. Okay?
Speaker 1 (04:29):
Ye?
Speaker 3 (04:30):
Then I get baking paper. Are you ready? And I
go and that is our lead? Actually pretty good. And
I scrunched the edges.
Speaker 2 (04:39):
Yeah, and you're making a pie.
Speaker 3 (04:41):
Yes, that's what it's good, is the pie? So that
gets folded over here. So what we've done, We've got
the base. I've rolled out the lid and flipped it over. Yes,
So that therefore we have a lid of a pie.
And what happens next that goes into I think you do?
I squnch down or I'm making that up. Okay, So
I crimp the edges together. We're going to put that
(05:02):
into the oven, and when it comes out of the oven,
a big giant decorative egg goes on top, and then
some magic on top of that. I think this will
be incredible.
Speaker 2 (05:11):
Have you put the oven? Put it on a bake?
Speaker 3 (05:16):
Yeah, put it on for twenty five minutes, probably one a.
Speaker 2 (05:20):
Well, don't burn it like you burnt the stuff.
Speaker 3 (05:22):
You stay away from the controls. Brendan, there you go,
thank you very much. So to put this in and
later in the show we're going to take it out,
finish it off and see what it tastes like.
Speaker 2 (05:33):
Super dubes.
Speaker 3 (05:35):
What if they ban TikTok, well we'll just have to
have Tucker. Today's looks amazing, don't you think. Let me
bring up to speed about what has just come out
of the oven here. This is an Easter pie. You
get pre bought, pre made cookie dough. Press it. It's
it's chocolate chip cookie dough. Press it into the base
of a fry pan. Top that with peeled cream eggs,
(05:57):
pourn a teller over it, put ad of cookie dough.
And the way you do that is you roll it
out on a piece of baking paper, then flip that on,
crimp it around like a pie, and you put it
in the oven, probably for about half an hour. It
looks amazing the finishing touches. Let me do that. Now,
I get a big dairy milk egg. So if you
used cream eggs so far, you get a really big
(06:20):
dairy milk egg.
Speaker 2 (06:21):
And what do you do with that.
Speaker 3 (06:22):
I peel it like this, I play. This is for presentation.
You place it into the middle where it's still a
bit soft in the pie. Place in the middle. Then
you get some more cream eggs and you crack them
over the top to let the insides drizzle down.
Speaker 2 (06:35):
I don't like that goofy stuff.
Speaker 3 (06:37):
Look at that, Look at this, and all the white
stuff drizzle I don't like that white stuff. I'm recreating
what they've done on TikTok, so we have to try
it all right. Now, what I'm going to do, it's
a bit sweet that bit. What I'm going to do
now is slice up the pie. Give you a piece
of the pie. See what you think You're ready?
Speaker 2 (06:58):
Geeze, my East Pie.
Speaker 3 (07:00):
I'll take I'll leave my decoration on and cut around it.
Speaker 2 (07:02):
Sorry, I'm singing here, sweet East Pie. You're getting better
when you're cutting.
Speaker 3 (07:12):
Thank you, Brendan'm missing your neck by a millimeter.
Speaker 2 (07:16):
We get so tense.
Speaker 3 (07:17):
I'll be closer next week. So here we go. I
now scoop out the pie handles. How I wish someone
had warned me rand and said, it's not hot, it's
not hot.
Speaker 2 (07:27):
What's the matter with you?
Speaker 3 (07:30):
On kitchen rules. Here we go.
Speaker 2 (07:33):
Ice cream hands yeah, okay, that nice. Ye.
Speaker 3 (07:40):
Look I haven't served it very delicately, but.
Speaker 2 (07:43):
That's for the service.
Speaker 3 (07:46):
Looking at Karen's stop complaining.
Speaker 2 (07:49):
Just Mum has made your food. Here you eat it.
Speaker 3 (07:51):
This was yours, Brendan. I like the presentations everything you eat.
Speaker 2 (07:58):
That it smells good and looks great. It looks, you know,
maybe some ice cream. Have you've got any ice cream? No?
Speaker 3 (08:03):
I don't, but ice cream would be good with it.
Speaker 2 (08:05):
You're right, I think the ice cream would be great.
Speaker 3 (08:07):
Okay when I say three one two, three into it?
Oh wow, how weird? All right?
Speaker 2 (08:18):
Wow, really dense. That's dansers.
Speaker 3 (08:22):
That's horrible. I thought it would be delicious.
Speaker 2 (08:26):
Why is it horrible that just dances and married at
First Sight podcast?
Speaker 3 (08:30):
That is it's just there's too much cookie though. It's
just like bread, bread bread.
Speaker 2 (08:35):
I'm disappointed.
Speaker 3 (08:36):
That should have been delicious and it's just not. It's
despite the fact it should be really sweet, it's actually
quite bitter.
Speaker 2 (08:46):
That is disgustingly good.
Speaker 3 (08:49):
No, just disgusting. How disappointing.
Speaker 2 (08:52):
I'm disappointed.
Speaker 3 (08:53):
We've got some leftover cream eggs though, so let's eat those.
Speaker 1 (08:56):
Start that you do it fancy the moldy, bacteria infested
slab of meat.
Speaker 2 (09:04):
Just fall off.
Speaker 1 (09:05):
The fall results too much that tends to give you
It's really bitter.
Speaker 3 (09:11):
