Speaker 1 (00:01):
And Amanda jam Nation. Can I read you an email
that we got from Katrina this morning?
Speaker 2 (00:06):
Is it a bad email?
Speaker 1 (00:08):
No, it's a delightful email.
Speaker 2 (00:10):
I like delightful.
Speaker 1 (00:11):
Dear Jones In Amanda, my son, Lachlan, who's only ten
years old, is your littlest biggest fan. Because of Lachlan,
our whole family went to see your live show last year.
I remember meeting them. We always listened to Wsfair and
he counts the song so we know when to call
for competitions. Lachlan is the middle of my three children
and happens to have Down syndrome, and today, Thursday, the
twenty first of March, is well Down Syndrome Day. I
(00:33):
was hoping you might be able to give him a
shout out Hello Lachlan. She said. I once had another
mother of a Down syndrome child complain to me how
people thought kids with Down syndrome are always happy. I
don't mind that comment, because Lachlan is always happy. He's smart,
he's cheeky, he's very friendly. I remember that from when
we met him. He's achieved a B grade certificate for
his preliminary AMEB piano exam. He has a green belting karate,
(00:57):
he works extra hard for his achievements, goes to a
main stream school, and his life is not without obstacles,
but we advocate for his inclusion because everyone deserves to
be included and we know how he will one day
change the world.
Speaker 2 (01:08):
That's nice.
Speaker 1 (01:09):
He absolutely adores both of you and randomly throws WSFM
and Jones in Amanda into conversations, and for some reason
loves the Ghoulies. Not sure if it's possible, but hope
you can give him some love back. Well, Katrina and Lochlan,
I love that email. I remember meeting your gorgeous family,
thinking of you today. Well done.
Speaker 2 (01:27):
Great. We need him as our hype man, you know,
just get him walking around behind us when we come
holding placard you know how Colin Jackie, I've got all
their hype people over there that you can go. We
need like lockwown.
Speaker 1 (01:37):
It sounds like Lachlan's doing it, but in the privacy
of his own home.
Speaker 2 (01:40):
Yeah, well yeah, we should give fam. Let's give him
some Hey.
Speaker 1 (01:44):
Why don't we do this a family pass to go
to the Easter show and show and some showbags and
you can go on our dodge ams the dogems.
Speaker 2 (01:51):
We're going to go and check those out today.
Speaker 1 (01:53):
We're heading out today to check out the Dodgers before
the show opens, to see how you drive. Well, you're laughing, Brendan,
so let me count again. Who's had eleven accidents between its?
Yeah and a hand up? Who's had none? That's me anyway,
Katrina held me for getting in time. Many none, Thank
you very much.
Speaker 2 (02:10):
Just look at the trail of destruction chickens and cows.
Speaker 1 (02:15):
Oh, yesterday, you know I have car blindness. I parked
my car and I was putting money in the meter
and I look back and a giant truck was trying
to park in front of my car. I thought, oh,
it's never going to make it. I went up and said,
you want me to move my car? Luckily he said
no because it wasn't my car. If he said yes,
I'd have had to jimmy that lock get into a
(02:35):
car that wasn't mine an attempt to move it.
Speaker 2 (02:40):
Good morning to your Lachlan
