And before we go any further,we got to get Matt. You know,
we had the JJ Reddick stuff,we had the launch pad, We've
got James Worthy, We've got threethings Thursday. There's a lot of time
(02:42):
to react to JJ Redick watch. But something else happened today in the local
sports landscape that does have the footballworld at least raising an eyebrow or crooking
a one his words. The wordof the day. Today's word is she
must be stopped. She must bestopped. Oh, I see, I
(03:02):
had a feeling you were going todo this. I had to, Matt,
you had to. This is incredible, This is insane. I mean,
we all like to tell stories sometimes, maybe if you're having a drink
with another couple and you're talking aboutyour relationship and yeah there was that time
that you know, we broke upand that this happened, and then that
I've met all right, it's awkward, Yeah, that is awkward. But
(03:24):
this Kelly Stafford, now, Idon't know how many times she's put her
foot in her mouth in regards toher quote unquote media career that seems to
be very important to her and hersurvival day to day, so she can
speak her mind. There was theyoung teammates won't talk to Matt and he
(03:47):
doesn't relate well with the young teammates. Oh yeah, yeah, the young
teammates don't know how to communicate. They're on phone. Yeah, there was
on their phones, right, therewas that they ended up with the best
rookie receiver in like NFL history,in Pooka Nakua. But whatever, thanks
for throwing me under the bus withmy teammates there, kel appreciate you.
Yeah. Then there was the unceremoniousattack of Fred and I which was just
(04:08):
completely and totally indeed. Yeah,I mean that was unwarrant. She called
you, but she didn't call youby your name. She called you a
different name. That's how she.Frank and Peter really stuck that knife in
and twisted. And I mean,I can't think of all the other stuff
she's done, but oh, shewent after Blueface. She got in a
fight with blue Face because we hadsome asses in his face and his sweet
(04:28):
in front of her kids. Yeah, re entitled to do. Oh and
then she said that they were yellingat her in Detroit. They were the
fans were mean to her when sheshut up with her kids all wearing the
Stafford stuff. And everyone was like, no, nobody was mean to her.
Yeah, knowing at all. Sheis really a squeaky wheel. And
here she is on some podcast. Is that Caitlin Bristow the chick? She's
(04:51):
on the podcast with the annoying chickfrom the Bachelor? I believe so that
used to be on the Bachelor. And she's sitting here trying to impress this
this strumpet from the Bachelor franchise withhuge puffy lips and tattoos. And Kelly
Stafford's now telling stories about how shedated the backup quarterback, which everybody translates
(05:14):
to he dated the backup quarterback atGeorgia to make Matthew Stafford jealous because they
mean they translate the word dated tosomething else to give it her the old
Wait, so was he trying tocatch yeah girl? Anyways, long story
short, it wasn't that cute ofa relationship. At first. I hated
him, I loved him. Idated the backup to piss him off,
(05:34):
which yes, he's like, that'lldo it. He was a bad boy
too, like Matthew's so sweet andsouthern gentleman and all stuff. And the
backup was the complete opfice. Yeah, yeah, ooh, and it upset
him. So they lived in thesame dorm because athletes lived in the same
dorm, and he would see mycar there and so at one point he
like waited and fought and followed meout and got in my car and wouldn't
(05:57):
get out, and he was like, this is so hot John. Yeah,
I was get out of my carand he's like, I don't He's
not right for you. And Iwas like, you can't tell me that.
So, I mean, none, none of us have the cleanest dating
history in the world and all that, and maybe there's no there's overlap here
and there, but I mean, you got kids, You're always trying to
(06:19):
act like you're better than everybody elseand correcting everybody, and then you go
on there and humiliate old pudgy faceStafford, the fleshy Matt Stafford. Why
do staff I mean, I don'teven like Stafford, but god, he
does not deserve this. This womanis terrible. No, it's the idea
that you would go on a podcastand share that you I'm using the air
(06:44):
quotes here dated the backup quarter. But if he went on a podcast,
it was like, what about thatnight we ran through the Kappas. Yeah,
the night before before I started datingKelly, I was naming three campas
a week. Lindsey and Kelly likelike, you get off this podcast and
you're like, man, I reallyaccomplished something today. I humiliated my husband,
(07:08):
the mother of my beautiful daughters.Uh, the man who provides thirty
plus million dollars a year for ourfamily, who was right by my side
as I was going only read care. Anybody knows you the only reason you
have a podcast. He is yourCaitlin Clark. You are the WNBA.
(07:28):
You have everything to be grateful forit. Yet you have to sit there
and say, yeah, the redhead, bald head quarterback ran through me the
freaking athletes dorm. It's the matterwith you. I'll tell you Sey how
I got his attention by banging thebackup That's how. Thanks, thanks sweetheart.
Like your Sean Merriman's and all thatare on Twitter like oh no,
(07:49):
no, yes, Kate's. Nowwe don't really know who the backup quarterback
is because the redhead is it JoeCox or is it Logan Gray? Those
are the two badd Well Apparently onTwitter, some people who know Joe Cox's
wife says she's upset about it.There's a lot of off color tweets about
it. It's not true, nottrue, It's not Joe. So now
(08:13):
people are saying it's Logan Gray.So I don't know. It's going back
and forth. Is it Cox orGray? I don't know. Maybe it's
a great Cox. Well, Matt, that would be unhealthy, you know,
if you got it's like a zombieor a vampire. Just again,
I know that you know you have. They're probably drinking sangria or having a
(08:35):
great time something, you know, and we're just having a great time.
And next thing, you know, yeah, you're letting stuff fly like you
didn't really talk to the coach comingout of halftime, Carissa, you just
made that s up. But whatdo you want to get out of that?
How does this help you, Kelly? How does this make you a
better mom to your daughter's, abetter wife to your husband, a better
(08:56):
friend to your friends? And thatis a dirty face Caitlin Bridge Stone's podcast
Off the Vine, not Kelly Stafford'sscrewface podcast Live from Ventura or whatever.
So she's doing the h incestual podcastThe Powerwash. I need to get my
corod promoted more so, I'm gonnado your pod, and then you're gonna
do his pod, and then I'mgonna do her pod. The Sean Merriman
(09:18):
tweet is I'm sick for this man. W t H. What the hell?
Right? Yeah? Yeah? Yougot photos all over there have you
and your beautiful family. You're notfamous. Nobody cares who you dated.
You're only famous because the quarterback husband. Nobody wants to hear about. It's
(09:39):
humiliating to see you, to seeyour screw face and puffed up bristow cackling
about this. Here's my number numberof the day, well number of the
DAP is follow up. We dohave a follow up, and it's a
it's a sad follow up to ourstory about RB the other day. Closing.
(10:01):
I drove by it last night,Matt, you see that, my
god, exactly we both did postapocalyptic down there. I'll tell I will
say this while the hat is stillthere, and that's all is there the
rest of it, jees, Iwill say, the crowd that was out
front very similar to the crowd thatI experienced when I went in there.
(10:24):
Freak duns and hooks and pims exactlyright, very similar. But this is
a sad story, a very sadstory. I did not know that that
Arby's had been owned by the samefamily, a single owner who is still
alive, ninety one years old,Marylyn Leveton, for fifty five years.
(10:45):
They have owned the Arby's. Maryland'sson in law is the one that's been
running it, and he's the onethat was quoted. They finally got someone.
They had not been on the record. It was just people were reporting
that it was closed because it hadbeen boarded up and there was a note
saying farewell house would or on theMarquis. But they finally caught it.
The La Times caught up with thefamily and it sucks, and it basically
(11:07):
says, yeah, it's the pandemic. Man. We never came back from
the pandemic, and you combine thatwith inflation and with twenty dollars an hour
minimum wage, and we just simplycouldn't do it. And ultimately, the
pandemic she said, quote pandemic didus in. I think we would have
closed during the pandemic if it wasn'tfor our federal loans. But finally it
(11:28):
just became too much. And it'sa bummer when you've got an iconic spot
where you can still hang out onthe Gower Golds. You know, you
go to the Gower Gold and goodloiter. But it did a smidge sad
as I drove by yesterday, hoppingoff the one oh one at sunset and
making my way past the Arby's tosee the collection, the diversity in the
(11:50):
crowd seated at those stone picnic benches, the graffiti on the boards, the
iconic hat, and knowing that notlike this should should not have had to
go down like this there at theend this well, I mean, what
ends well out there, Matt,You know, meth Head Superman ends up
in a dumpster dead? True, you know, I mean Hollywood is not
(12:13):
a place. I mean, it'sreally kind of the opposite of dream making.
It's sort of the opposite. Ohit's a living nightmare. Yeah,
it's at the opposite of the Shootfor the Stars, Dodger City Connect Jersey
theme. Unless you have that threeblock stretch with high end Mediterranean wraps one
after another. Got about some ofthose you can choose from that's where if
(12:33):
that's what you're in the mood for. Arby's may be gone, but a
high end Hummus spread Romaine Olive Tabouli. He look back into shape, Matt,
You know, I mean, it'snot all bad. Palladium look good.
I was. I was a littledisappointed to no longer see the abandoned
(12:54):
auto mechanic where you could park forabout seven or eight bucks across the street.
I don't know where the hell you'reparking for the palladium anymore. That
was a nice little spot. It'snow a Mediterranean takeout restaurant. But whatever.
Such a life in hell, Yes, Kates, I just don't been
doing a deep dive on Joe Coxthe last few minutes. I'm going back
(13:16):
to Kelly. Did Kelly sleep withCox or did Kelly sleep with Logan?
A lot of people are saying it'sJoe Cox the now the redhead tight ends
coach for Lane Kiffrin at Old Missoh He was a tight ends coach the
last couple of years at Alabama. He's kind of made his way around the
circuit as far as coaching tight endsat Charlotte, Wide receivers coach at South
(13:37):
Carolina. It's Colorado State. That'syour redhead, hits Cox. And he's
happily married and we love that he'sgot a daughter and so oh good for
him. You know he shouldn't haveto deal with this. No, no,
no, but he is right now, he is enjoying life, and
right now he's looking at in themirror in Oxford, going, that's right,
Joe Cox, and we'll be rightback with James Worthy, a dear
(13:58):
friend who's coming on out of thegoness of his heart to react to the
end of Reddick Watch and the beginningof a new Redick Watch. Who will
Reddick hire? How is it goingto be? We'll DISCUSSSI compy. He's
not gonna hire Joe Cox, that'sfor sure. Petros saying money making our
way until seven o'clock tonight. Aswe get ready pee. Brought to you
(14:22):
by driven By, I should saythe Ford F Series, America's best selling
truck for forty seven years in countingFord gives you freedom of choice, gas,
hybrid electric. Head to your SouthernCalifornia Ford dealers and find yours Ford
F Series built tough. It's timesfor James Worthy, Uh, the great
James Worthy joining us right now theLakers make a higher out of the goodness
(14:48):
of his heart. Even though hisduties are done. It wouldn't feel right,
finishing the season where the Lakers didnot have a coach in place,
with the draft a week away, and he should be able to answer Cornbread
Maxwell and all his ass talking inthe media toward Magic and himself and many
(15:09):
others. It is a hearing ofthe people, the great James Worthy once
again, Hall of Famer, SpectrumSports, that LA Emmy winner and our
friend back to the Petrosen Money Showon Anti seventy LA Sports Big Game.
James, what's cracking? James? How are you? Hey? Hey,
Hey, how you guys doing?Man? Just you know, getting the
news of the new coach and sonow we got to hopefully move in the
(15:35):
right direction. Brothers, your reactionto the news, I guess it's not
that much of a surprise. Theyhad that little turbulent moment. I guess
if you're JJ Reddick where they almosthired somebody else or offered the job to
somebody else in Hurley, what wasyour reaction to this? And they say
they're going to surround him with anall star group of coaches that kind of
(15:56):
help him out with his inexperience atthat level or any level of coaching.
Well, I remember, I don'tknow a couple of shows back we talked
about before Hurley you know, startedto get a lot of news, we
were talking about the possibility of JJReddick on on the show, and and
(16:18):
you know we were talking about, you know, inexperience never coached before.
It'll be the biggest challenge in Lakerhistory, you know, probably since Jerry
West turned over the range to PatRally back in the early eighties, where
you know, they really were, you know, under the pressure to win,
and they had the talent but justhadn't got there. I think JJ's
(16:41):
finding himself in that same scenario.Now. Like I said, I don't
know him personally, but I butI do listen to him when he's doing
his announcing and broadcasting, and heseems to have a really really good mind
for the game. Now does thattransfer to the court, we don't know
(17:03):
yet. He also seems to bea really good communicator, and I think
that's the number one thing you gotto have in order to get people to
buy into the philosophy. So Ithink he's very smart that he's getting an
experienced or people who know what they'retalking on the bench, because quite frankly,
in an eighty two game, youknow, unknown territory. It's undiscovered
(17:29):
territory for him being a head coachthat he's going to need that kind of
support. So that's a good thing. Yeah, you mentioned James and a
lot of people are pointing to patRiley and you can do that, I
guess if you want to. Hewas, you know, a broadcaster for
the Lakers, but he was alsoon the bench for two years. I
mean, the guy was an assistantcoach for two years. The Lakers had
(17:52):
won a championship. So I guesswhat I'm you know, so I tid
me to you that it's like it'snot the same. It's like the guy
who was an assistant coach. Youknow, it's not the same. It's
not the same. You're right, pat Raley did have two years in the
eighties, but when you fast forwardto twenty twenty four, you're looking at
the trend of how coaches are hired. I remember Steve Nash got hired in
(18:17):
Brooklyn, and you know, everytwo years there's a you know, there's
a new coach, Darren ham Vogel, We've had coaches here. So yeah,
pat Raley had two years, youknow, on the bench, but
it's a day's game. It seemslike just time talking about the game being
(18:41):
you know, a big part ofdiscussions and following it the way some of
these guys do that that's all theexperience that maybe teams are looking for.
So it's to me it's a verysimilar challenge, even though Ral's had two
years on this his assistant coach, you know, the head coaches, that's
(19:03):
a different monster. Yeah, Iguess, James, the big question is,
look, hire who you want, who you think is going to do
the best job. I guess mybig question is just, hey, this
is gonna be Lebron's fourth coach andthis this is the fourth coach in six
years. Now. I know theyinherited Luke Walton, you know when when
Rob Polinka got here and when youknow Lebron got here. So I guess
(19:25):
you can just talk maybe they didn'tmesh with what their vision was. But
now you're talking about four coaches insix years, and clearly that's a position
where that they have circled that theybelieve has prevented them from achieving their ultimate
goal of winning a championship. Sowhat like just from that position, from
that share, James, what doyou think needs to change, Like,
what does JJ need to do thatThe previous three coaches, you know,
(19:48):
were not able to get through threefull seasons as as head coach of the
Lakers, well despite being healthy. You know, he I do think he's
a communicator and I you know,I don't know. I'm not in the
inside. But sometimes the failure tobe like a pat Riley and sit people
down in front of the video andshow them what they're doing and don't be
(20:12):
afraid to critique them and let themknow that hey, you know, hey
Lebron, you didn't get back ondefense are You have to be really direct
with players and you can't hire, you can't let anybody high. Pot Riley
would sit Kareem, magic me buyingthe whole start and five and just let
us have it. And you haveto have that. You can't. You
(20:34):
can't, you know, try tobe nice and you know sometimes you can't.
You know, let players make decisions. You can, you can take
their advice and sometimes you can,you know, kind of play that into
your scheme. But I think that'swhat's going to take. People are going
to have to be held accountable nightin and night out. And you know,
(20:56):
JJ might have a better sense ofhow to do that, just you
know, being who he is andhow he talks about the game, and
so that's my hope. Otherwise it'sgoing to be a tough challenge. I
mean, we won one in thebubble when no one had home court advantage.
He was kind of neutral. Soyeah, we've had too many coaches
(21:18):
my opinion, I believe you getone coach and you give him two or
three years. You know, Ithought ham would be here a few years.
I mean, we had a lotof injuries. They didn't you know,
they didn't progress. But I don'tI still don't know what the you
know, what the issues was, whether he was a good communicator or whether
the players lost respect for him. There was a lot of things going on
(21:41):
at the end of the season thatdidn't look good. And what said,
you know, Ad made a statementabout you know, sometimes we don't know
what we're doing. That's not good. So now you got to get a
new coach. You got to startall over again. And hopefully the relationship
that Reddick had, I think hemay have played he played against Lebron during
(22:02):
this time. Hopefully that text relationshipit can can you know, can unveil
what's been missing, you know, chemistry, longevity, winning, but I
don't know is yet to be seen. So like I said, I think
he's a really good communicator. Ithink I saw one of the potential assistant
(22:22):
coaches could be Sam Passale, whichwas one of my candidates to you know,
be the head coach of the Lakers. But if he comes in here
as an assistant, I think that'sa good thing. And whoever he brings
in as an assistant is going tobe key to help him, you know,
express what he needs for the teamto do on a night basis and
(22:44):
buy into it. It's going totake a lot of a lot of communication.
They got the talent if they're healthy, but it hasn't yielded us much
here lately. It's interesting, James, and you're such a big part of
it, and your history, yoursports career history is part of what's going
on right now. It's almost likea bigger spotlight is on the Lakers and
(23:07):
what they're doing right now because theCeltics just won and they seem to have
the kind of consistency that the Lakerssort of lack. Is that just the
rivalry or we talk about the Lakerslike this no matter what, and we're
in la. I mean, it'sit's kind of interesting how these things kind
of happened simultaneously. You hear themmy voice, don't you. Yeah,
(23:32):
I'm a little bit worn out.I'm a little I'm a little I'm a
little upset that you know, theself has got it, you know,
you know, And for me,I go back to, man, if
we just won that, if Ihadn't thrown that ball away in game two,
we could have won in eighty fourat least it'd be a tie.
And then I think about all theones that Jerry lost. You know,
(23:55):
we could be three or four headwho knows, but that rivalry is one
that it's bigger than Duke Carolina.Uh And what can I say? Congratulations?
They did what they were supposed todo. They drafted players, they
kept them together, they added whenthey needed to, drew holiday guys like
(24:15):
incorporating guys like White, and theypaid the dues for for years, you
know, gradually getting to the finalsof the West, you know, Eastern
Conference and then the finals and nowthey where they're they're you know, that's
what we they need to do.That's what they did. And so when
we had our talent. We youknow, we we wanted to win quickly
(24:38):
and so we went for lebron ad. That's fine, but it hasn't
you know, it yielded us,like I said, the championship in the
bubble, but the consistency of theLakers, it's not where it should be
in my opinion, and we gottoo much talent. Uh, and the
fact that we were going through whatI consider really decent coaches even though there's
(25:06):
a trend that's going on. Imean, Vogel got fired from from Phoenix,
Monte got fired from Phoenix and justgot fired from from Detroit. So
you know, I don't know what'sgoing on in the ownership. What they're
thinking. Are these younger gms howthey're thinking. But there's a lot of
money, you know, getting paidand not having to work for it's crazy,
(25:29):
So James, it's crazy. Thetrend of coaching now, it's different.
What you know, I think about. I hate to bring it up
again. Celtics win the title. You don't really hear coach Mozilla being you
know, cited as one of thebest Saxes and O's guys in uh in
the league. Same thing with Jasonkidd. You know, he's not necessarily
cited as one of the great tacticiansand in game adjusters in the NBA,
(25:52):
and you think about the teams theyknocked out. You know, Rick Carlisle
is regularly cited as a great excessand O's guy Mike Malone as well well
in terms of in game adjustments. So that's the one thing that everybody has
kind of been saying about JJ,that that, hey, this is a
guy that's really good on the whiteboard, that really understands the game that they've
had. You know, that's whathe does with Lebron. He breaks out
(26:14):
that that little you know, dryease and starts diagram and a bunch of
stuff. How important is that,Like, like, how important is the
tactician side of it versus the leaderof men, head coach sort of leader
side of it. You know, you can always identify players as far back
as college, maybe like I knewByron wanted to coach. I knew Byron's
(26:37):
got one of the coach I knewcoop. You know, they just have
that gnat for understanding the game andbeing able to think on their feat being
able to prepare a game plan. And that's what I meant when I say
when I've listened to Jay J.First of all, I watched him play
at Duke, and you know, throughout the league you can see wisdom and
(26:59):
how plays move and what they're thinkingabout and how they don't waste energy and
they to get to their spots andget you know, to their favorite assets.
And I think he has that.I listened to him on some of
the broadcasts. Yeah, I agreewith that. Uh, and he's on
point. Now, look is thattransfer to the court? Are your are
(27:21):
the are are your? Are yourplayers gonna be listening to you? Like
the way I listened to him andthe way the way I see it when
he's talking. Uh, that's that'sthat's you know, I think in his
relationship with the bron Uh, that'sgot to help. You know, the
bron can encourage players to you know, just be patient or whatever. So
(27:42):
that is the hope. And andagain you know Boston maybe not the greatest
you know, exces and old headcoach guy, but good assistance. So
when you got three or four guyssitting around and he has no ego and
he's listening to you know, thingsthat have been offered, you get teamworking.
(28:03):
You get you know, uh,you get what Boston has been doing.
Brad Brad moving up to the frontoffice after being on the on the
bench, and Danny Age moving outand you know they kind of they had
a plan and it worked and sonow they are, you know, they're
they're staged themselves to one another onenext year. I mean, they got
to be the favorite something along withDenver and Minnesota's got to be up there.
(28:26):
But they're in a good place. The great James Worthy, friend of
the show and friend of the city. We appreciate you, James, thank
you for doing it today, kindnessof your heart. I thank you.
Tell Cedric you know he didn't beatthe Lakers. You know he should be
calling the mark of guire and someonethat those you know what I mean,
(28:47):
Yeah, calls the little guys, all right, guys leading me alone.
A lot of a lot of callsgoing to voicemail for James Worthy. It's
driven by the Ford F Series,America's best selling truck for forty seven years
in counting. Ford gives you thefreedom of choice gas hybrid electric. Head
to your Southern California Ford dealers andfind yours Ford F Series Bill tough.
We'll be right back with sweet JamesBurginer Double James, Yeah, real,

dollars. It's not for Sweet jamesonza, order in the court, Order in
(30:26):
the court. It's time for justicewith Sweet James. There's only one true
great personal injury attorney in this world. He's a busy man. He's been
around and about all summer long. But he's back with us today and I
believe he'll be with us a weekfrom tomorrow at Brewery X in Anaheim.
(30:48):
Fingers crossed. It is the greatSweet James, the dense beard of justice
at eight hundred and nine million,or Sweet James dot com. There's no
better personal injury attorney in the world. And this is where we ask legal
questions that are pertinent to our livesand the lives of many others around town.
What's crack at, Sweet James? How are you? I'm doing really
well. I'm excited for Brewer reaxMan. I've gone up every year.
(31:11):
It's always it has a great venue, great place. Now. I know
you've been out and about, SweetJames, but you're a man of the
world and you have you You're aman. You're a man who loves motors
and motorsports and and nice cars andmotorcycles as many wealthy types people that are
very talented and fortunate, they havethose those those likes and desires. Where
(31:33):
do you fall on the electric bikethings, sweet James? The elect the
young people on electric bikes right tryingto kill each other out in the streets
of Newport and stuff. I seethem all over the place, and you
know what, They're kind of funand uh yeah, I'm on for them.
I like them. Well, whatabout these kids? Shouldn't they have
to have a driver's license instead ofrun running around and trying to kill everybody.
(31:55):
It's they wear a helmet. Theyhave to wear a helmet. We
have to the laws. If theydon't, they can't get in trouble.
Now, James, kind of walkus because I just this just happened yesterday
as a matter of fact, hereand seal as you can imagine it being,
you know, kind of set upthe way this town is. They
are hauling ass up and down Oceanor Central or Electric kind of the main
(32:17):
thoroughfares, and we don't know,we don't like your nonchalant attitude about this.
Sweet James. I don't like toattitude, but here's what I want
to get. I'm watching a kidhall ass down ocean right speed limits probably
twenty five thirty on Ocean, andhe's doing a wheelie. There's a car
behind him keeping a safe distance. Some other pals comes zipping by in the
(32:38):
opposite direction on their e bikes. He slams on the brakes and wants to
whip around to catch up with them. And I swear this car was maybe
three feet from running into the backof him. It had to slam on
its brakes, tires screech the wholedeal. Whose fault is that? Like,
whose fault is that? If thatcar runs into the back of that
(32:59):
e bike and that kid goes flyingsome fifty feet through the air, like
after slamming on his brakes in themiddle of the road, right, Yeah,
that would be Uh. Typically theperson that hits from the rear is
its fault. Luckily this guy waskeeping me maintaining a safe distance, was
able to stop in time. It'svery difficult logically, yes that kids,
it's fault shouldn't stop in the middleof the road, but proving that and
(33:21):
I get these case like this allthe time. Without video proof, these
are almost impossible to prove the guywho gets from behind is its fault.
What about when there's like a storm, like not just e bys, swarm,
a swarm e bikes, mini bikes, uh, motorcycle riders you know,
or even even cyclists, you know, when they swarm in the streets,
(33:42):
created confusion and chaos and then somebodyends up getting clipped and you're gonna
say it's my fault, me themotorists. Well, I'll tell you this.
Automobiles hate bicyclists, pedestrian hate byeveryone hates bicyclists. Yeah, so
no, there are there are. They are problems. Some cities have bike
lanes to kind of kind of forcethem and corral them in their lilas.
(34:05):
They never totally use it all thetime. Yeah, there they are a
menace at times. They are,But that's where we live. Are there
more and more laws? Like dowe have some like actual draconian laws like
hey, if you're without a helmet, we're going to take your e bike
and impound it for a year.Like are there any of those sort of
things on the books yet? That'sfunny you said that, because that's what's
coming up next, Matt. That'swhat's going to count next. There's going
(34:27):
to be more stringent laws. They'regoing to be Hey, you can only
write during these hours. You haveto stay in this lane, don't cross
this line. Helmets finds yup, that's coming. All right, sweet James,
this one's a little heavy. Justhappened, you know Matthew Stafford or
Matt Stafford, the quarterback of theRams. Yes, you know. Yes,
wife's got a podcast and she nevershuts up. And okay, recently
(34:47):
in her podcast or somebody else's podcast, these weird podcast world types, she
admits that to make Matt Stafford jealousin college when they were dating, she
was cheerleader for Georgia, she datedthe backup quarterback. And you know a
lot of people are like, wow, you know, why would you do
that? Why would you cuck MattStafford all these years later and talk about
(35:12):
how you dated the backup quarterback tomake them jealous and all that stuff.
That's not a good look. Doesthat backup quarterback whose name is Joe Cox
or Stafford or that guy's wife,do they have a case. Like when
somebody drums up the past and talksabout college shouldn't that be illegal? You
know, I think I know whereyou're going with this. It should be,
but it's not. Can remember, truth is going to be a defense
(35:36):
and if it doesn't, his reputationit doesn't have a clean So maybe people
deluded toy like, oh wow,he's the guy that of Stafford. He's
an awesome dude. I don't listento podcasts without reason for this sort of
stuff. My heart radio app though. Let's say let's say that, just
in some weird world that Kelly Staffordmade Joe Cox or Joe Cox made Kelly
(36:01):
Stafford sign an NDA agreement, andoh yeah, twenty years later, yeah,
twenty years later, she says onCaitlin Bristol's podcast that she dated this
guy to make Matt Stafford jealous. What do you get out of that?
How do you when you sue? What happens? Typically on an NDIA,
there's going to be liquidated damages,There's going to be some sort of penalty
clause in there, so whatever thatpenalty clause is, that's going to be
(36:22):
activated. So usually it's you know, fifty thousand dollars whatever, depending on
the severity of the NBA. So, yeah, you got to cut off
your pickey figure. Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, you better be
akuza there. Yeah, but yeah, they would be built into the NDA.
Well, let's get let's go downthat road that you just mentioned,
James, let's continue a little furtherdown the shade. Yeah, because you
(36:44):
said the truth is always going tobe, you know what, what's examined.
And if she's telling the truth, then you've got no case. But
let's say she just had a pop. You know, she's drinking with this
podcast lady, and that you knowhow it happens on these podcasts. People
get loose with it and I startsaying stupid ass and get them. I
was in trouble trying to Let's sayshe just thought this would be a funny
little haha. You know. Islept with the backup quarterback to make my
(37:07):
husband jealous and that's how he marriedme. And and she made the story
up. And this dude, JoeCox is like, look, I never
this is a lie. It neverhappened. And yet his wife freaks out
and she's like, you lilied tome. We were it again and she
divorced. Then what kind of casedoes he have? Yeah, then he
would have something there. He reallywould. He has suffered damages from a
(37:27):
lie. Yeah, so if shewent on and said that none of that
was true, he would have acase if he suffered those sort of dances.
Hey man, I had to goto therapy with my wife. Here.
He has a divorce. She splitchshe took the kids. Yeah.
Absolutely. It was a couple ofyears ago. Somebody was at a question
answer session and he said something andit was it wasn't true. And the
guy she said it about suit andhe got a million dollar judgment on it.
(37:51):
Yeah, so that happened. Yeah, Now what if she recants,
if she immediately says, I'm sorryI had too much to drink. I
just thought it was a funny jokethat never happened. But it's too late.
He's like, Hey, the wifeand I ended U about a blue
light. Yeah, it is toolately, depending on they of the circumstances,
Yeah, it could be too late. Yeah. Yep. Well,
once again she's using and losing theshut the F up challenge. Poor Kelly
(38:15):
Stafford. We appreciate you, sweetJames. There's nobody better. You know,
if we had twenty bucks for allthe chicks that lined up trying to
tell everybody they had sex with metwenty years ago. You know, me
and Sweet Chee, we got torun around putting out all those fires,
sticking our fingers in those dikes.I mean, that's really twenty bucks for
each of the chicks. I'd haveno money, but I'd be sitting on
(38:37):
a polo cast to make my boyfriendjealous. I slept with that guy.
We love you, Sweet James eighthundred and nine millionaire, Sweet James dot
com. We'll be right back.We have a whole other hour going deep
