streaming everywhere with the iHeartRadio app hosted by Mad Money Smith.
Check out the fit and Petros Papadakas. That's what we
like to hear. Here they are on your home of

(00:23):
the LA.

Speaker 2 (00:24):
Dodgers in sync and down the Green.

Speaker 1 (00:26):
Petrosin Money, trosin Money Rosen Money Ros.

Speaker 2 (00:31):
Did he get on stage yet?

Speaker 3 (00:33):
Matt?

Speaker 2 (00:35):
That is a no? What are we doing here? That
is right?

Speaker 3 (00:39):
Delays, Yeah, we got Muncie and then just nothing but
uh blue screen.

Speaker 2 (00:45):
Oh he just got on. Okay, just got on there?
Should we run it live? Go to Dodgers dot Com
to Dodgers. That's stopped the show. Do we got it?
This is come on? We're going back back forth and forth.

Speaker 3 (01:00):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (01:01):
Did Manny Machado in Game two on Sunday night flip
the ball at David Roberts from his third base warming
up position? With intent? What is intent? How do you
tell what somebody's intent is when they throw a baseball?
Are you inside their head? What was intended? Do you
know that he saw your head, How are you hoping

(01:22):
to Dave Roberts live at Dodger Stadium? I mean tonight.

Speaker 4 (01:27):
Michael's obviously had a heck of a year seeing him
a lot. I think for us it's just to be
on the attack. I think he's a guy that tries
to attack you. He's a strike thrower, and then he.

Speaker 2 (01:41):
He's talking about Michael Kings.

Speaker 4 (01:42):
Strike out, and so I think for come on.

Speaker 2 (01:46):
Ask the question. Quit Dlly Dallly, quit beating around a bosh. David,
you have Freddy and the starting lineup? Is that or
is that still going to be a game time decision?
You out, it's a go as of now. So he's
in there.

Speaker 4 (02:04):
He's doing everything he can to post, which I appreciate.
I think everyone that follow up day effects and so
he's gone through his shows, game stuff. So unless I
hear otherwise, he'll be in there.

Speaker 2 (02:18):
What do you mean, Unless I hear otherwise, he'll be
in there. You put him in a starting lineup? That's
a good question by Dave, Quiet group, Jack third Row.
Nobody wants to do it. They're scared. What all did
Freddy do yesterday? Oh? Come on, Jack, what did he
do yesterday? Come on?

Speaker 4 (02:34):
He got treatment one of all the contrast stuff, all theves,
the modalities, nothing on the baseball side. It was a
mental reprieve break which he needed. Hopefully he caught a
good dinner and got some good rest.

Speaker 5 (02:53):
And then just dynamics of this series, like how have
you seen that factor into, like the actually weak way
to ask and how important do you think that's going
to stand, especially in these two games.

Speaker 4 (03:05):
I don't think they they factored into the first two games.
I thought there was emotions in the first game. I
thought we did a good job fighting and winning a
ball game. The second game we got our butts kicked.
So I don't think that either way. We got our
butts kicked. Yesterday, I thought it was a good work day.
This is going to be a great environment. I mean,

(03:27):
this is one of the better places to play in
all of baseball, which is fantastic. I'm excited we're gradually sided.
It's going to be a sign energy game tonight.

Speaker 5 (03:35):
When we started talking about trying to match the Padres,
intensity is there like the killer and you is the
killer and me with intensity but not kind of getting
out your own game and kind of the even keel
kind of mindset that you guys have during that season.

Speaker 4 (03:49):
Absolutely, I just think that it can't be manufactured. I
think that you have to appreciate it and understand the
value in it of getting fired and playing with energy.
I just don't think manufacturing it is sustained. But I do,
and I do think that, you know, the most important
thing is playing good baseball. That's the most I feel

(04:11):
like we're skirting matching world skirt playing good defense given
way outs on the basis and getting timely hits.

Speaker 2 (04:19):
That's the core of I want Ultimate Warrior versus ho
coke and back and forth with not to beat the
emotional stuff in the ground.

Speaker 3 (04:29):
But how would you describe the emotional personality of your team?

Speaker 2 (04:33):
Oh? Come on, I would say, who got to these people?
A very uh, it's going to have to do it again.

Speaker 4 (04:41):
Very consistent, mentally tough.

Speaker 2 (04:47):
Team now not after last night.

Speaker 4 (04:49):
Understanding what's most impact this night. Our team is very
banded together. So I think emotionally we're we're in as
good a spot as I've seen us, and so I
feel very comfortable in saying.

Speaker 2 (05:05):
That grow the third row on the right side, girl girl.

Speaker 6 (05:10):
Uh.

Speaker 2 (05:11):
Recent news, even though it was a while ago. Walker
Bueller and his man watch getting stolen. You did you
hear anything about that?

Speaker 3 (05:17):
And what's your reaction to the watch?

Speaker 2 (05:19):
I want to hear about shelt right before he pitches.

Speaker 4 (05:23):
Well, fortunately it happened a couple of weeks ago, so
it's old news for Walker. I'm happy that he's safe,
but it's just, uh, it just keeps us all on
alert that things like this can happen gary time. But again,
he's safe and it's the scariest place to watch. But
it wasn't a cheap watch. But yeah, I don't think

(05:45):
that that's kind of in his uh thought tonight.

Speaker 7 (05:49):
Stay right over your right, Come on, Max was talking
about how it's part of the Padres game plan can
get under your skin. You can you talk about yourself
and the guys guarding themselves from playing into that and
making this more emotional than fundamental.

Speaker 4 (06:07):
No, it, like I said, it's it's about playing a
baseball it is, and they're focused on trying to back
away to do the same thing. So for me, it's
just all I'm thinking about is tonight.

Speaker 2 (06:21):
I Mean, she literally just called him out for saying
something about Manny and saying something about Manny who used
to play for Dave Roberts. He called him out. What
do you got, Barry? Come on, Barry, do it? Barry
do it? I don't know, man, come on, Barry.

Speaker 8 (06:40):
Back to Freddy. Is he taking a shot or some
sort of you know, drugs, drugs didn't wear off the other.
Is that one of the things that that happened with him?

Speaker 2 (06:56):
Possibly?

Speaker 4 (06:56):
Yeah, And he just couldn't go, and the trainer is
telling me you shouldn't go. It's an easy one for me.
A bell on the left side, slash, thank you, come on, blash,
We'll go to Bill four rows backlash just quickly.

Speaker 2 (07:13):
What happened with Michael Grove?

Speaker 4 (07:16):
Yeah, So Michael, for those who don't know, we're gonna
he's in right now.

Speaker 2 (07:23):
Literally turn down SI. Didn't Mike Schildt just call him out?
Didn't Mike Schildt just put his toe right next to
his toe and say, hey, to a little bit. What
are we doing here? We're acting like it didn't happen.
We're acting like we didn't hear from Shildt a little bit.
Turn it back.

Speaker 4 (07:42):
So Ben Conspiras is going to be active and care
about the experience. Michael's extremely disappointed, rightfully.

Speaker 9 (07:49):
So what's the most expensive watch you own.

Speaker 2 (07:52):
Oh God in Heaven, come on, man.

Speaker 4 (07:54):
This one right here, it's uh it's uh yeah, I
w C. My wife loot it for me as a
fiftieth birthday president w C.

Speaker 5 (08:06):
What's how much of your pitching plan for tomorrow is
sort of based off tonight?

Speaker 4 (08:10):
Based off tonight? I think based off tonight. I think
that everyone's available tonight and then you know, you see
how tonight goes. Oh, those are forty four goes tomorrow.
I think tonight is obviously the most important variable.

Speaker 2 (08:28):
Forty four dollars watch, I WC.

Speaker 1 (08:30):
We'll go to Bill all the way on the left.

Speaker 2 (08:32):
I don't think we're going to get it. Matt, you're
gonna get it. I don't think we're gonna get it.
Somebody's gonna have the balls. We can't miss it. I
don't think we're.

Speaker 9 (08:40):
Gonna Yeah, dog, Mike Show was in it earlier. Yes,
please ask about your comments on Manny he did. I'm
not able to spare. We'll play on your team, especially
anybody I've managed in the past or world to effective team.
That's not how one operates. Do you have any comment
on that?

Speaker 4 (08:57):
I don't. I don't, but that's those are his words,
and I don't do.

Speaker 2 (09:02):
We'll go up here in the front. Well, there you go,
stayed away from it.

Speaker 10 (09:09):
I want to ask you about Fernando Venezuela and what's
in your mind now now that he's having a heart
of time.

Speaker 2 (09:15):
That was it.

Speaker 3 (09:16):
He heard it from Flash. He asked the question. He
had no comment.

Speaker 2 (09:21):
Put it on the bad. Good for your Dave. Don't
get in the mud. You already you already rolled around
and you started it. You've already rolled around in there.
You've showered off, and now make your way. I'm sorry
I got in the mud. I'm now showered off, now showered,
and I am moving forward. I regret what had happened,
and I am moving forward with my life and I

(09:42):
have to me to move ahead here. Wow, that was
at least Flash asked it. Yeah, finally, dude. That just
goes to show. Okay, guys, we are a toothless media.
That was not up to Vassay. He did it yesterday.
Vass did everybody's job yesterday. It was somebody else's job
today as my I'll do it. I don't care. I'm old. Ah,

(10:05):
I want to roll my bag in here. Right. Thank you, Bill,
Thank your Panama Hat, Panama Red, Panama Red. Well, that
was worth playing. Oh we're not going to be gas
lit in the gas lamp, Matt, we won't have it.
Here's my number number of the day, thirty eight. Now,

(10:30):
color me skeptical, but maybe you could have found something
more valuable for that sort of cash. Certainly not the
watch that Walker Buler was wearing that was ripped off
his wrist out of sant Anita walking from the paddock
to his seats, fiftyth birthday present from my wife, Hunter k.

Speaker 3 (10:45):
But David Kohler has that sort of money to essentially
put into a pile and set a flame. I saw
this on the La Times earlier today. David Kohler was
a Laker super fan. He owns s auctions and he
is the proprietor of a house based Laker museum slash

(11:09):
Shrine Okay. And he has got understandably valuable collectibles, things
that people would want to see, like Kareem's goggles from
the nineteen eighties that he wore when they were winning championships.
He has the microphone that Chick Herne used for his
final broadcast. That's pretty cool. He has got the rim

(11:29):
that Lebron's free throw passed through, making him the NBA's
all time leading score and even that I can see fun.
You know, nobody has scored more points in the history
of the NBA Lebron James. I don't think anybody ever
will score more points than Lebron James in the history
of the NBA. And you got the rent of the
ball pass through. Fine, what you probably don't want as

(11:51):
a recording of the play by play following the made
free throw that made it sound like it was a
game winner in Game seven of the NBA Finals.

Speaker 2 (12:01):
But he just wanted to just at and one. I
used the term loosely. At Sotheby's and the Laker Museum.

Speaker 3 (12:13):
Guy Laker Museum got a Blard Cohler spent thirty eight
thousand dollars thirty eight four hundred dollars to be exact,
in an auction that projected the item he purchased would
fetch between six and ten grand, and he paid about
a six hundred plus percent premium from the low end

(12:36):
three hundred and fifty percent on the high end to
purchase the game. Warn Jersey, Okay, okay, wait wait wait
wait wait wait the game Warn Jersey did you want
to venture a guest here?

Speaker 2 (12:57):
Would you want to? You wanted to venture a guest? No,
I'm trying to get the How do you spell timpany?
Your son of a bit? You could just write drum
roll t ym Yeah, thanks? Could your other drum roll?
I didn't put it in. Tim puts it in.

Speaker 3 (13:23):
Sotheby's projected the item would fetch between six and ten
thousand dollars. Not wanting to be outbid, David Kohler spent
thirty eight thousand, four hundred dollars on the Summer League
debut jersey from Brownie James. Not the jersey he wore

(13:50):
in the preseason contest the other night when he shared
the floor with his father, but basically like the penny
the practice jersey that he wore in Las Vegas. In
Summer League Game one, a summer league in which the
Lakers would lose their first five games, Brownie would shoot

(14:10):
twenty six percent from the field and thirteen percent.

Speaker 2 (14:14):
From three piss puss pus, and.

Speaker 3 (14:17):
David Kohler thought this is a good investment thirty eight
four hundred dollars for a summer league jersey from a
guy drafted number fifty five overall, and a brilliant piece
over there at the evilfour letter dot Com today from
Baxter Holmes, where he interviewed a number I'm surprised sad
that he wouldn't be drafted.

Speaker 2 (14:37):
How did ESPN let that get through? Right? How did
he ESPN like that get through? It's like, I mean,
what's going on? Are we actually acting like a media now?

Speaker 3 (14:48):
Maybe lebron was really pissed. They fired Zach Lowe and
they were like, well, he's pissed, so let's just kind
of double down, screw you melon exactly right, Baxter Homes.
It's about a three thousand word piece suggesting that Bronnie
James has no business being in the NBA and should
not see a single second of court time on the

(15:10):
twenty twenty four to twenty twenty five campaign. And that's
through the miuths and words of opposing scouts, executives, players.

Speaker 2 (15:17):
Well where we heard that before. It's like, most people
think Bronnie's really good, right, thirty eight thousand, four hundred dollars.

Speaker 6 (15:23):
I've got to have.

Speaker 2 (15:24):
It, Yeah, sosdd if yourself, which put us out our.

Speaker 3 (15:27):
Misery exactly right, thirty eight thousand dollars.

Speaker 2 (15:34):
Thirty eight thousand, four hundred dollars. By the way, the
word wasn't something I wouldn't wipe my ass.

Speaker 3 (15:40):
I read that whole article, and the one takeaway I
had was when Rich Paul was asked about suggesting Bronnie
go back to school, he said, well, no, Bronni was
fixated on hearing his name called in the draft.

Speaker 2 (15:54):
It Cyc, well there you go, says it all. Well,
it's kind of hard to hide who you are when
you are the horse shaking shaking the at.

Speaker 6 (16:01):
We are not going to hide who we are just
because some horse shakes are ass.

Speaker 2 (16:07):
Here. It is one of the great moments in NBA
history that we totally manufactured and manipulated and are shoving
down your throat forearm deep. And then Stull goes, nice, nice, great,
that is nice. Thanks, thanks for nothing. That is nice.

(16:27):
This is this is the song of the day.

Speaker 10 (16:34):
Today's song of the day is called bus Rider from
the Guess Who, because the Dodgers have taken their team
bonding bus ride down the five Freeway to San Diego
for Game three of the NLDS with the Padres at
Petco and the Petros and Money Show is flexing some
Muscle today, Uh huh with two hours of Great Sports

(16:55):
Dog that'll get you to ten k's and that NLDS
edition of your Mara because you know. Dodgers on Debt
program beginning at five o'clock.

Speaker 2 (17:07):
Dave Roberts taking the high road after he took the
low road yesterday, highroad and then Shelton met him on
the low road and Dave Roberts like, hey, hello from
the high road. Hi Hello, I'm up here now. My
my hit was just in here. He said, you were
a bit. I've got nothing to say. I don't, Dave,

(17:28):
I have no comment. Warriors, Big David Masse will join
us next give us his perspective. Love driving the brand
new twenty twenty four Toyota Tacoma. What a sweet truck rings.

Speaker 3 (17:49):
It'll be Game four tonight's Game three where you're home
with the Dodgers. It's where you hear the games. Postseasons arrived,
every team dealing with a one to one series situation.
As it stands right now, Dodgers not alone as the
favorite to face a pair of games on the road,
of which they have to at the very least win one.
Try to send this thing back here on Friday for

(18:11):
a Game five at Dodger Stadium.

Speaker 2 (18:15):
Joining us down to discuss it further Live in the
moment with the Doyers is David vassa with an inside
look at the Dodgers. This is the Vass Report with
David Vase. David Vase ready to report live from Petco
Park and the gas Lamp Dodgers versus Padres NLDS Game

(18:41):
three coming up. Dave can be seen on MLB Network,
Spectrum sports Net and heard right here on AM five
seventy LA Sports, your home of the Dodgers. Dave, what's
popping down there?

Speaker 6 (18:56):
The Padres are taking batting practice right now Petros. The
Dodgers stretching, getting ready to go. Manny Machado is out
here earlier taking his usual brown balls a third base.
There was no issues as far as anything pre game drama,
and right now the Dodgers are just getting ready to
try to win this game because if they lose, it's

(19:18):
going to be a really tough tast to find a
way to stave off elimination in this ballpark against that team.

Speaker 2 (19:25):
Got to be honest with you, Dave, Ever since we
hit the air, we played the Mike Shilt sound, and
then we heard Max Muncie and then we just heard
Dave Roberts. Very interesting. It feels like they're trying to
back as far away as possible from what was said
yesterday and the emotion that it stoked.

Speaker 6 (19:46):
Yeah, well, Mike Shilt is going to protect his player.
Dave Roberts was asked about if you want to respond
to Shilt, basically taking a shot at him for criticizing
many Machado. Shilt in his conference, as you guys heard,
said he wouldn't, you know, talk about another player on
another team even if he had managed them. So felt

(20:07):
like that was a little backhanded shot at Dave Roberts,
and Dave Roberts wasn't going to get into a war
of words with Mike Shilt. So it feels like that
was the off day drama. Now it's about put up
or shut up time. It's a game day and all
the talk is going to go out the window. I
will say this, it feels like there is enough tension

(20:29):
where you could see dugouts empty, bullpens empty tonight if
Walker Bueller or any other pitcher tries to come inside
and I'll just let you guys in on something. So
Buehler was a rookie in eighteen and Many Machado came
over and they were pretty close and still close to

(20:49):
this day. So I don't envision Walker Bueller trying to
hit Many Machado or do any of that stuff. But
I could see him trying to buzz the tower on
a Fernando Tattoos Junior or even Mystery relevant jerks and Profar.
I don't and look, it might be inside. I'm not

(21:10):
saying he's going to hit him, but he's going to
establish the inner part of the plate. And it's all
contention on how those guys react to Bueler about whether
or not there could be a boiling point of tensions
here in this game.

Speaker 3 (21:23):
Dave, I know, you know you're focused on the game
that's going to get started here in about two and
a half hours, but you were the guy that asked
the question. You felt like it needed to be addressed.
It's old news to some degree because both parties have
said their piece and Dave appears to move on, but
got to ask you because you know him so well.
Were you surprised with the way that Dave answered that
question and the way he described what what he interpret

(21:46):
it was going on on the field when Manny threw
that ball at the dugout.

Speaker 6 (21:50):
Yeah, I was surprised, Matt. Look, I didn't know what
reaction I was going to get when I asked that question,
but it felt like it was the question that needed
to be asked after Jack Flaherty let us all in
on the fact that Machado threw the ball at the dugout.
And you know, MY first assumption was that the ball
was thrown towards the front end of the dugout and

(22:12):
who sits there, the manager, Dave Roberts, and Machado said
as much that he was upset Tatis got hit. So
who's he going to take that out on? And I
don't believe many Machado is trying to hit Dave Roberts
that he wanted to, he could have. I believe he
was just letting the emotions get the best of him,
and he was trying to get the attention of the

(22:33):
Dodger dugout that he did not like it. Now, was
that the right way to go about it? You can
argue that, but I don't believe he was trying to
hit Dave Roberts. I just hadn't seen the video at
that point in time that Jack Claerity was talking about
the video that we've seen since kind of shows it,
but I hadn't seen the video. And then a player
inside the Dodgers clubhouse showed it to me, and it

(22:55):
was very clear what the intent was, and that's what
Dave Roberts was referring to.

Speaker 2 (23:00):
David Vasse is our guest. It's Dodgers podres tonight. Did
you know Walker Bueler got.

Speaker 6 (23:06):
Rob I had no idea. I was around Bueller a
lot yesterday and he was unflappable. And I got news
for you. He has enough money to buy another one
hundred thousand dollars watch.

Speaker 2 (23:17):
Got me enough money to buy me a hundred balls,
No skin off my back? What about Mookie bets Dave?
What a complete mess?

Speaker 3 (23:24):
And if only it hit that damn home run, maybe
wouldn't be having this conversation. But what do you see
from him? How does he get out of this?

Speaker 6 (23:34):
You know, I talked to some players. I believe Mookie's
got to stop listening to you me social media and
just worry about what his teammates think of him. Yesterday,
he was in the batting cage for over three hours.
Nobody else could get in there to take swings because
Mookie was in there for three hours intent on doing

(23:55):
what he did last week at Dodgers Stadium. A lot
of people would say that that's not the best way
to get out of a slump because you could see
him searching at the plate. You could see that he
is trying to get back twenty two or forty three
at bats with one swing. What he's got to do
is just remind himself. And JD. Martinez told me this

(24:16):
last year, as crazy as it sounds, you have to
remind Lukie Betz how good he is. And hopefully somebody's
doing that for him today.

Speaker 2 (24:23):
Does somebody have to do that for Otani?

Speaker 6 (24:26):
No, I want to be surprised if O'tani led this
game off with a home run and sent this place
upside down.

Speaker 2 (24:33):
Will they pitch to him?

Speaker 6 (24:35):
They will pitch to him. Yes, Mike Schild has talked
about how he's not going to pitch around him. They
want to compete, go after him, and as the first
batter of the game, I wouldn't expect Michael King not
to go after him.

Speaker 3 (24:48):
Dave just in terms of the rest of the lineup,
and Freddie Freeman and how important he is there at
the number three spot. You asked the question of Dave
Roberts and the press are about a half hour ago.
Is he really going to play this game? So do
you think we're now at the point or when do
you think you'll know, even though he's in that starting
lineup whether or not he's going to be out there.

Speaker 6 (25:08):
Well, Freddy came out here to do his usual pregame routine,
so it feels like he is going to try to
give it a go. I will say this come speaking
of the Dodger lineup, I mean, Freddy's going to be
in there. How long he's able to last remains to
be seen. But I feel like it's time to get
Key k Hernandez a start. And I would have loved

(25:29):
who have seen Tommy Edmund at shortstop and Key k
Hernandez in center field tonight. Didn't have Miguel Rojas at
your disposal for defense late in the game. The only
reason or the biggest reason why the Dodgers signed Key
k Hernandez and Brandon Domes. I remember exactly where we
were talking stick Dodgers were playing there when they signed

(25:49):
Key k Hernandez. They said it was for October. Well,
here we are in October. Keyk got into the game,
had two really good advans. Miguel Ross just has done
it offensively. If I'm the Dodgers, I'm seriously considering starting
Kei k Hernandez and center and Tommy Edmond at short.

Speaker 2 (26:08):
The chickens are coming home to roost tonight. David Vasse
will be all over it at four o'clock. He's got
an instagram live on the field, so don't miss that.
What are you gonna do, Dave.

Speaker 6 (26:20):
I'll walk around harass people, show the Dodgers taking batting
practice behind the scenes. It's kind of like what I
did for Matt and Kate's last week. Take people behind
the rope, let them know what life is like on
the dirts.

Speaker 2 (26:33):
Oh.

Speaker 3 (26:34):
It was one of the highlights of my radio broadcasting career.
Dam Dave, what do they do with Tatis? We asked
what they're gonna do with Otani? But here's a guy
who's hitting six point fifty in the postseason right now
and seemingly is mashing everything he sees.

Speaker 6 (26:51):
I love what Jack Flaherty did. He wasn't trying to
hit Tattis, but he wanted to move his feet make
him a little bit uncomfortable. Tatus has had way too
many comfortable at bats and I know it's not something
we see a lot in baseball these days, where pitchers
come inside and try to make that hit or move
his feet. But you've got to be able to establish

(27:12):
the inner part of the plate so he can't it
can't extend his arms and make him have uncomfortable at bats.

Speaker 2 (27:19):
On and only David Vasse. He's got his work cut

of what it's like down their pregame, not some BSU
and Dave. Who's more angry The Royals fans in Costas
were the Padre fans and Joe Davis.

Speaker 6 (27:52):
Oh that's a tough call, Petro. It feels like the
Padre fans. Loudest voice is former Padre Eric, who has
been relentless on our guy, Joe Davis.

Speaker 2 (28:04):
I thought everybody hated Hosmer down there.

Speaker 6 (28:09):
Now they love him. He's really ingratiated himself now.

Speaker 3 (28:12):
That he's not playing and taking twenty five million bucks
a year from them.

Speaker 2 (28:16):
Everybody loves him. His podcast has become quite popular.

Speaker 6 (28:19):
Yeah, he's not hitting into thirty double plays and hitting
the ball on the ground fifty percent of the time.
Now he's just a loud mouth with the podcast.

Speaker 2 (28:29):
That's all water under the bridge on the way to
the Coronado Island. Thank you, Dave, and have a great night.

Speaker 6 (28:36):
Thank you guys, you too.

Speaker 2 (28:37):
Don't forget that Instagram. Live at four o'clock on m

reactions in.

Speaker 3 (28:45):
The cage, taking up bunches, mans moons, you're a loser
hostin what a loser?

Speaker 2 (28:51):
And speaking of beverage, somebody's away up on their beverage. Okay,
stay with us. We'll have more react we'll have quick kits,
we'll have a minor sports stories. Dead and Alive, Zen
She Sushi, Dodger Pregame, Valveling, Dodger on the Road Report,
Maroango Casino Dodgers on deck. We got a lot of

(29:13):
advertising connected to the Dodgers, and it's quite important for
our boss that the Dodgers keep winning, so we can
continue to do that advertising and then take the profits
from the advertisers for our mental well being. Thank you
for listening, and your patronage.

Speaker 3 (29:37):
ELA Sports Instagram Live. That's where you can find it
on Instagram. AM five seven e LA Sports beginning in
about ten minutes and speaking of the Dodgers, Dodgers padres
first pitch at six oh eight pm. You'll hear it
right here on your home with the Dodgers, Walker Buehler
gets to start, and Dodger fans get your game day
meal on at Shakey's Pizza parlor. Get that Shaky's pizza,

(29:58):
that chicken and Mojo's right now by ordering at Shakys
dot com and you will be enjoying it before the
first pitch.

Speaker 2 (30:05):
After Wednesday, no more Shakys, maybe, no more zan She,
no more Valveeline. What y'all gonna do.

Speaker 3 (30:14):
Well, I'll tell you what we're gonna do. We're gonna
run to the Ralphs, grab some Zenchi sushi, head over
to the Valveline to get our oil changed and have
the shaky's delivered there while we do a four hour show.
That's what we're gonna do.

Speaker 1 (30:26):
A mister Colin.

Speaker 2 (30:31):
Fine, brought to you by your sokel Toyota Dealers. We
make it easy, all right, Matt. We got a lot
of Textoso's a lot of people trepidacious, a lot of
people worried about you know what's going on. I mean,
how could you not be right? How could you not
be right after that? Dave Roberts. I mean, people are
freaking out. But here are some of the texts. This

(30:51):
one says, I'm living on the Central Coast. Now I
hear Giants fans interspersed around here, and they now look
at us like we are gaping peace. Oh no way, no, Well, Matt,
you know that's a tax. What do you want me
to do? Giants suck, So throw that back at him. Well,
this guy's a Dodger fan, but he's got to deal
with the Do's what I mean. He's like, you guys suck.

(31:14):
The Giants fans. They tell me Buster posey with the
three championships, So you guys haven't won anything, legit. No,
just wait till far hunts back in our organization. If
g damn Madfred would let us have our serene bubble Machine,
there would be zero Padre Dodger drama because Machada would
be a Dodger. This is like Calgon Take Me Away. Yeah,

(31:40):
I've always loved that commercial. You guys remember it. No, No,
Brian Vance is just laughing at you guys right now, saying,
ha huh, they make a big deal out of me.
Joke's on all of us. I hate Brian Van. I
heard him. You don't hate Brian Fans? Do you hate
that he laughs at you? Who's laughing at me? It's him,

(32:04):
Ran Fan't I know all? I need to ruined our
show and I will not accept Bubble Machine is ruin.
I will not accept any apology either. You apologize to him? No, No,
if the Dodgers, if the Dodgers guaranteed to win tonight,
if you did the big free to Yaka Yaka Yaka song,

(32:25):
would you do it? The show basically is the only
sign of life from a Dodger entity at all. And
I gotta be honest with you, sir. A couple of
years ago, I lost the juice to do the Yaka
Yaka Yaka big freeda song because I was feeling like
I was mustering up false energy, false enthusiasm, studio gangsterism

(32:49):
because the Dodgers were not responding to the yaka yaka
yaka yaka yaka, and I how many times do you
go back to the same well and it doesn't work.
I mean, I get it, it's a staple of the
show during playoffs, but I don't have the energy to
do it because I don't believe that it makes any
kind of difference. I find it to be a masquerade.

(33:15):
Ross Stripling's dad was grateful. Roberts called out, Manny Machado,
You're right, Ross Tripling's dad is a good place for
man k Viva vic. He called it like it is,
Manny Machado, cuck the Dodgers. Search your feelings. You know

(33:36):
it to be true. I just don't care. They watched
the game ten to two, cocked them, and you don't
care about being cooked. I'd prefer everybody forget about me
as opposed to recount. I would rather people don't I
would rather people don't discuss it, have people move on

(34:00):
from it as quickly as possible. Matt, this is a retaliation,
a rebuttal, if you will, maybe an op ed about
your big talk about Corey Seeger, and this says I
guaran tee. Mookie Betts has more bowling strikes and podcast
hours under his belt than Corey Seeger does. Why you
guys got to focus all on baseball and the baseball

(34:23):
negatives that Mooky has. Stay positive, MOOKI podcasts and he bowls.

Speaker 3 (34:30):
Fair point. I forgot about the multitasking. Corey's just a
baseball guy that wins World Series mvpce.

Speaker 2 (34:36):
My mistake, Well, yeah, you've made a big error.

Speaker 3 (34:40):
Big air when you factor in the bowling Championships. Thanks
for talking to us, Rob and the podcast production. Thanks
for sitting down with Tatis before game three of that
final regular season series. It's clear there's only one choice,
and that choice is Corey Seeger.

Speaker 2 (35:03):
Fine, hey, Pete, can you ask Dave Roberts if the
guys who robbed Walker Buhler were wearing Padre's jerseys. Maybe
that can light a fuse under the Dodger Ooh, good one,
Padre fans in Arcadia, stranger things have happened. Walker going
down when the Brown is in town, that's what's in

(35:24):
Look at my wrist, I'm wearing his Philip P. Tech
that's what's in. They didn't take as well as do
his watch, that's what's in. Well, we appreciate your patronage
here on the Petrosen Money Show, and we thank you
for listening on this to ed Mono tire to the

(35:45):
last Tuesday. We'll see what kind of meant it alsos
we are tomorrow. If the Dodgers are up to one
twenty first Street crypt style or down to one to one,
stay with us, back man
