How do I know that? It says here on the sheet?
Read from sheet?

the Clippers and Hawks is a professional endeavor for million dollars.

Speaker 5 (02:00):
I knew you were going to come out here and
ask me about offense.

Speaker 1 (02:02):
You know, that's what McClain started with when he talked
about UCLA.

Speaker 6 (02:05):
How do you know that?

Speaker 1 (02:06):
Well, we interviewed him earlier, but we will replay it.

Speaker 3 (02:09):
I don't really have a lot to say.

Speaker 1 (02:11):
I'm sorry, gud Well. That's why we got McLean instead
of Mick today. Although Mix should be pretty happy you
beating Zag. Although Matt brought up that old ass with
North Carolina, come on a raise up Sunday, Chargers Raiders,
an old rivalry kicking off and on ALT ninety eighty seven,
and we will discuss that as the days and weeks

(02:33):
go on. As the Chargers are a playoff team, no
doubt about that. Make sure to podcast the show and
listen on the iHeart Radio app. When we're gone, stream
it live there. It's now time for the top story
of the day, Top.

Speaker 3 (02:47):
Story of it.

Speaker 5 (02:50):
Well, sometimes it works out for you, sometimes it doesn't.
In this case, it seems as though the NFL schedule
makers did the Bolts of favor because they did not
slip up, They did not look past the Patriots. They
dominated the team with the league's worst record, punched their
ticket to the postseason, and now they have the luxury
of following our favorite book series, choosing their own adventure,

(03:15):
well sort of. Uh, the game tomorrow between the Bengals
and Steelers, we're.

Speaker 1 (03:19):
Gonna choose our own adventure. Where you're gonna start the
game and trips or we're gonna start the game in
the full house backfield. That's that's how we choose.

Speaker 4 (03:27):
That's how we choose our own adventure. What adventure do
you want?

Speaker 1 (03:30):
We're gonna start with an onside kick. We're learn everybody.

Speaker 4 (03:32):
You hear a noise in a cave? Do you want
to go in and investigate the gate?

Speaker 1 (03:37):
Turn the page twenty five?

Speaker 4 (03:38):
Do you want the game?

Speaker 1 (03:39):
You get your putzo ripped off by bear.

Speaker 4 (03:42):
And thrown at your head.

Speaker 1 (03:45):
Oh no, didn't mine books over? Damn it.

Speaker 3 (03:49):
Uh.

Speaker 5 (03:50):
They have the luxury sort of to sit and watch
the game tomorrow between the Bengals and Steelers. Is that
will determine what Week eighteen looks like from a participation
perspective and what sort of impact, if any, it will
have on their playoff position. Bengals win tomorrow, these Steelers
pick up their seventh loss. They finished ten and seven.
They slide a half game behind the Bolts into the

(04:11):
sixth spot. The Chargers will temporarily be placed in the
five and likely and not likely will most definitely put
their foot on the gas, play all their starters and
head to Las Vegas with priority placed on a victory
over a severely hampered Raider roster. Sans Max Crosby and
a host of other playmakers who have populated the IR

(04:32):
the last six weeks or so, they would be heavy favorites,
and considering they have won every game they are supposed
to win. This season has not been that letdown. You'd
feel pretty good about their chances. But of course division game.
It's the Raiders. Last year's sixty three to twenty one
humiliation could be stuck in their cross and in the
recesses of their heads in a bad or hopefully a

(04:52):
good way. But again, a win would be the logical projection,
and that would bump them up one slot on the
AFC seedings playoff lineup, and that could go a long way.
It would lock in a first round matchup with Houston
in Texas. Houston, Texas against the Texans.

Speaker 1 (05:14):
I think they'd play that one in College station.

Speaker 4 (05:16):
You never know.

Speaker 5 (05:17):
Oh that hurricane looks through there and next thing you know,
we're going to South Padre tore the riff off that joint.
They will take on the Texans, the Texans team that,
like the Raiders, teaming with injuries, has lost their last two,
five of their last eight, and coming off a Christmas
Day demolition at the hands of the Ravens. What likely

(05:37):
was a score GAMMI thirty one to two, as the
safety was the only points they put on the board
on ir for the rest of the season for the Texans.
Two of their top three receivers Von Diggs Tank Dell.
They're starting strong safety, their starting slot corner. Their offensive
line has been a mess all season.

Speaker 3 (05:57):
C J.

Speaker 5 (05:58):
Stroud, after being crowned of the elite quarterbacks in the
league after a great rookie season, rest dramatically throwing for
just nineteen scores versus twelve interceptions, taking fifty two sacks
with an eighty six QB rating after last year's one
hundred point eight forty one hundred yard passing season, an
opening round playoff win versus the Browns, and humiliating fashion.

(06:20):
Now on top of that, you're heading to Houston, Houston, Texas,
a three hour flight, two time zones away, playing in
a climate controlled, covered stadium instead of having to deal
with one of the Big three Kansas City, who of
course has a bye and won't play until a divisional
round Buffalo in Buffalo, the two seed, where next weekend

(06:42):
it is projected to be in the twenties with twenty
mile an hour winds and snow, or Baltimore with the
red hot Ravens, where it is supposed to be Another.

Speaker 1 (06:52):
That won't be. No, that won't be redundant.

Speaker 5 (06:55):
You know, damn well, they would put it on Monday
night too, and it's like for the love of Christ.
So best case is Burrow beats Pitt tomorrow.

Speaker 1 (07:03):
Best case for the Chargers.

Speaker 5 (07:04):
Best case for the Chargers, the Chargers sweep the Raiders
and bookend games to the season. Play the Raiders like
they played the overmatched Patriots, able to get their stars
out of the game in the fourth quarter for a
little bit of rest, and they get ready to make
their run at the Super Bowl. Now, if that does
not work out, if the Steelers overcome this three game
losing streak knock off Cincinnati, consolation prize for the Chargers

(07:27):
would be rest set a steak Knives, State Knives third place.

Speaker 1 (07:33):
You're five, Well, I help the rest treats some better
than it does all the bye teams in the College
Football Playoff.

Speaker 4 (07:37):
It didn't work out so well, I don't know.

Speaker 1 (07:39):
Maybe just start playing the games two weeks later instead
of four and a half. No, no, where, none of
them sit around for a month and a half. Shim
it down.

Speaker 5 (07:49):
Now, the Ravens are seventeen point favorites versus the Browns
on Sunday. Actually, I think it's up to nineteen and
a half now, but they have to play their guys
at least as long as they need to to get
up big on the Browns before they can rest them.
They have to win the game because if the Steelers
win and the Ravens lose, Pittsburgh takes on the crown
of the AFC North, so they would have to play

(08:10):
the Chargers. Do not, they would be locked into the
sixth seed, will head to either Pittsburgh or Baltimore. Whichever
team wins the AFC North, they will rest their guys,
give him a bye week of sorts to be as
healthy as possible at the start of the postseason. While
if it's the Ravens, you know, Jim Schwartz is crazy
enough to send Miles Garrett and that Cleveland front relentlessly
after Lamar Jackson hammering away at that old line. May

(08:31):
be wearing them out a little bit, as he has
a lot of teams this season. Maybe the Ravens get
a little beat up. Chargers are nice and rested.

Speaker 1 (08:37):
Only an authentically black quarterback can truly hammer the old
line like that.

Speaker 4 (08:42):
That's exactly right.

Speaker 1 (08:43):
I learned that from Ryan Clark and his brooch.

Speaker 5 (08:48):
It's a very interesting look. You know, Jack went with
the ascot last night. Ryan Clark is going with the brooch.
Television fashion is really taking a step forward and back
at the same time.

Speaker 1 (08:58):
You know, pretty similar and bring back the nunckle.

Speaker 4 (09:00):
The person that said Cam Newton looks like he operates
a steam punk hot air balloon to one of the
greatest descriptions ever.

Speaker 1 (09:10):
A steampunk style hot air balloon operator. He's sitting at
a table on a sports talk television camp shoot and
he just came from the Turn of the Century World's Fair.

Speaker 4 (09:24):
You're gonna go on CD like that, aren't you? Yes,
I am. You put that whole thing together. I did
very authentically.

Speaker 5 (09:31):
What look are you going for? Turn of the century
steampunk balloon? You know what you've nailed.

Speaker 1 (09:39):
Wells you set up a picture. Now.

Speaker 5 (09:42):
Would the Chargers be favored against the Ravens. No, not likely,
but they would be rested and perhaps as ready as
possible for the physical punishment that that meeting would produce.
So thank you NFL schedule makers for putting Bengals Steelers
tomorrow Saturday. Guiding with an invisible hand, not really Jim

(10:03):
Harbaugh and the Bolts and their decision making approach to
the contest on Sunday. As for the Rams, they are
the three seed that cannot change. They will likely play
the Commanders in the first round, a homecoming for Jade
and Daniels at SOFI. As long as the Commanders can
knock off the Cowboys, the Rams would be a favorite,
you would assume to advance to the divisional round. If

(10:24):
the Commanders stumble and the Packers pummel the Bears as
is expected, Pamela, Pamela, the Packers will move up to
the six. It's a match up the pack already won
once at SOFI earlier this season. Just ask one of
their owners, Tim Kaits twenty four to nineteen. I believe
he was in the owner's box for that one, sending
the Rams to that one and four record to start

(10:45):
the season, where the Packers in that fifth contest of
the year before they manage to turn it around and
loose just too the rest of the way. I am
guessing Sean McVay would rather get the rookie QB the
look just happy to be here year one of the
new regime Commanders than the potentially wild card team that
makes the super Bowl and not surprising anyone in the
least owned partially by our Tim Kats Green Bay Packers.

(11:10):
To the Picks, I got to take four and I
got to sweep to finish five hundred on the regular
season after a disappointing one in two records.

Speaker 1 (11:19):
Want to climb back to mediocrity, though, But we're not
there yet. We are not there yet. We've got a
drink climbing, keep climbing. It's just like, uh say, in
West Virginia where I grew.

Speaker 5 (11:32):
Up, you know what we say on Wednesdays, Like happy
hump Day with the cat hanging off the branch there.
That's what we say on Wednesdays for hump Day. To
the Picks again, I got to take four and I've
got to sweep them to get to five hundred.

Speaker 7 (11:46):
Uh.

Speaker 5 (11:46):
And there aren't a lot of games that are easy.
It's the worst week to pick games because half the
teams don't give a crap, and by half, I mean
ninety of them are either teams that are already in
and resting because their matchups are set. The other are
just bad teams that want to get the hell out
of here and don't feel like playing a physical, violent
game for sixty more minutes. But let's see if we
can figure this out. I'm gonna lay the two. Yes,

(12:07):
it's in my best interest in the hopes that the
Chargers will have a best shot at multiple playoff games
on a path to the super Bowl. Cincinnati four game
win streak, Steelers three game losing streak, coach calling out
Russell Wilson, George Pickens acting all weird with the media.
Five turnovers on this losing streak.

Speaker 4 (12:24):
TJ.

Speaker 5 (12:24):
Watt can't pick up a sack either on this run
of futility. The Bengals defense is atrocious. Russell Wilson lit
it up for over four hundred yards and four touchdowns
in their first meeting. But man, it's Joe Burrow. It's
Joe Burrow Man, playoff Joe Burrow. This is a playoff game.
They lose, they are out. They win, and they will
need a little bit of help, but at least they
would still be in can sit back Sunday and hope

(12:46):
the Jets can knock off the Dolphins and the Chiefs
can knock off the Broncos. So I will take postseason
Burrow and the Bengals. Laying two points to the Steelers.
The Sunday nighter. The win and you're the one seed
and get a buye. The lose and I can't believe
a fourteen win squad is a wild card contest. Lions
hosting the Vikings. Can Detroit outscore Minnesota? That's the million

(13:09):
dollar question. Winner gets the one and a bye loser
fourteen win wildcard team, as we said that will likely
have to win three road games in order to make
the super Bowl. Not ideal. Vikings getting a field goal.
Sam Darnold gonna be the comeback player of the Year.
Justin Jefferson, Jordan Addison, TJ Hockinson, Aaron Jones, offensive fireworks
versus Jared Goff. Oh, come on, i'mn ross Saint Brown,

(13:30):
Jameson Williams trod.

Speaker 1 (13:31):
In a way that Stafford was never Never Sorry, Matt.
They like golf more.

Speaker 4 (13:36):
Uh Sam?

Speaker 1 (13:37):
Maybe his wife is a lot cooler than yours.

Speaker 4 (13:40):
You've seen his wife that Instagram model. Hey, No, Samier Gibbs.

Speaker 5 (13:44):
The over is bonkers. Fifty five and a half and
even that is still tempting. Instead, I'll take Minnesota on
the road to derail Detroit's once designated season of destiny
that was derailed by countless injuries on the defensive side
of the ball. Gimme the three, give me the vik means,
gimme Sam Darnold, former Petrosen Money Show guest, to complete

(14:05):
his quest, his redemption story, and to tell his truth,
whatever that may be. As the postseason get started as
the number one team, all right, quickly, let's round this
out with two. I'm gonna take the this is a
weird one Houston, who is coming off a thirty one
to two loss, and Demico Rians has already said, we're

(14:25):
playing our guys. We got to figure some stuff out
after this two game losing streak against one of the
worst teams in the league, the Titans. They're only laying one.
So I will take Houston minus one against Tennessee, and
I will take Tampa to demolish the Saints to punch
their ticket as the winner of the NFC South, and
lay the thirteen and a half to New Orleans, Tampa

(14:46):
minus thirteen and a half Houston minus one to the
Tennessee Titans. I will take Cincinnati minus two over the
Steelers and Minnesota plus three to get.

Speaker 4 (14:57):
Me back to five hundred.

Speaker 1 (14:58):
Here in week eighteen, well, good Lucke to you met
you the Dodgers way over five hundred playing with house
money re signing ti Oscar Hernandez. He will join us
next with all that house to narrow. Ti Oscar Hernandez
will join us in the very next segment after the
big press conference, and you'll hear more from him at
seven o'clock with Dodger Talk David Vase, Ti Oscar the

(15:22):
man of the Hour coming up new Petro Saying Money.

Speaker 5 (15:30):
AM five seventy LA Sports Live everywhere on the iHeartRadio
app headed to seven pm before we pass it along

Speaker 1 (15:57):
Everybody's favorite Dowyer, the Dodger Mahor is back, the Oscar
Hernandez power guest. Big press conference today was Christmas easy
for everybody? Was it a pelice anno nuevo? It was
because the Dodger fans felt that Tia Scar was coming

(16:18):
back after helping lead the Dodgers to a World Series championship.
He signed a three year deal. They did a press
conference today and he will be back in Dodger Blue
in twenty twenty five and beyond. Joining us right now,
Matt one of our favorite Dodgers of all time. That's true.

(16:40):
On your Southern California Toyota Dealers Celebrity Hotline of the
Day of Celebracy on ti Oscar Hernandez on the Petrosen
Money Show on AMPLI seventy LA Sports ti Oscar, Welcome
and congratulations. Happy New year, man.

Speaker 6 (16:54):
Thank you, thank you. That was a good I appreciate it.

Speaker 1 (16:58):
Well. You got it coming in. The people of Los
Angeles are so excited. People love you so much. Tell
us about the process getting this done with the Dodgers,
getting this deal done and was it stressful for you?
Was it hard or was it something that you knew
was gonna be okay?

Speaker 6 (17:16):
You know, I'm really excited to the guy, and I
feeled about for the fans throughout my free agency, and
now that I be able to come back and make
this deal done, I'm even more excited for what it's
gonna come for us and in the next.

Speaker 2 (17:34):
Couple of years. You know, it was not hard, but
I always had in my mind I was going to
do everything in my power just to make a deal
with the Dodgers used to come back and be in
this great organization with the greatest fans in the world.

Speaker 5 (17:56):
Just kind of going back to this exact time last year,
Ti Oscar, you had multiple options. You chose to come
play for the Dodgers. What were your expectations and I
would assume they were exceeded you won the World Series,
But kind of what did you what did you think
you were going to walk into and what did you
walk into in terms of an organization when it came
to playing for this this team.

Speaker 6 (18:18):
You know, I was expecting something good because I heard
from some other teams.

Speaker 3 (18:23):
But now that I know.

Speaker 6 (18:26):
How they run business and how they've run the players developed,
how they treat family, and no, for me just to
make a decision, it was no braining. It wasn't hard
just to to make that happen and trying to come back.
It was easy to to to make that decision and

(18:48):
just make work.

Speaker 5 (18:50):
In terms of the postseason and maybe what that that
played into it. We kind of think of how it
started the hole that you guys found yourselves in against
San Diego, rallying out of that and then going on
to win the World Series. How much of that was
a part of you kind of echoing to the people
at the parade like, Hey, I want to be back,
I want to come back here. How much of that

(19:10):
was made in the postseason versus what you experienced over
the one sixty two of the regular season.

Speaker 6 (19:17):
It was, you know, it was great funds.

Speaker 3 (19:20):
They're always there.

Speaker 6 (19:21):
They were there even when we were down against San Diego.
They show up and they give it this spoor that
we need just to bounce back and win the last
two games. And I think it has been like that,
And into the beginning, the Sands were there, they were
like voting for us, They trust and these seeing these

(19:41):
organizations and every single player, and I think because of that,
we were able to come back and have the energy
just to overcome the San Diego patris and just advance
to the championship.

Speaker 1 (19:53):
Taskar Hernandez joining us on the Petros and Money Show
press conference today. It was in town as a wonderful
celebration and really a culmination of not only a World
Series championship in La which was an unbelievable celebration for
the city, but a really great offseason for the Los
Angeles Dodgers seem to really know what they're doing when

(20:14):
it comes to building the team. Mister Seeds is what
they call ti Oscar because of the celebration with the
seeds that started in twenty seventeen. Do they keep a
lot of seeds around the house or you know, with
the wife and kids tioscar or the seeds only at
the ballpark?

Speaker 6 (20:31):
Only as the ballpark I take you know, I got
three boys, and it can get a little messy if
I had at home. But I just tried to get
home as clean as possible because they already make a
mess with all the toys and all that. I don't
want extra mess over there. But definitely I would keep

(20:53):
it in the stadium so we can have more celebrations
to come.

Speaker 1 (20:57):
Do you think at a certain point the family is
going to take an interest in the seeds and wanted
in in La Casa. Maybe? I don't know.

Speaker 6 (21:05):
My kids are a little too little right now. Right now,
I thinking about yeah, thinking about seeds right now, But
definitely at some point they will.

Speaker 1 (21:15):
They're gonna s Yeah, they're gonna be quite.

Speaker 4 (21:17):
It's gonna happen.

Speaker 1 (21:17):
Curiosity about this spectually bad seeds.

Speaker 5 (21:20):
Uh, ta Oscar, bigger, bigger home run for you in
the postseason Game five against the Padres or Game three
in I mean, it's the World Series, right, but at
the same time it's a game five, so elimination game
versus the World Series. Which one do you feel was
was bigger?

Speaker 6 (21:37):
Idem? When I go liven farther than that, I think
it was the Grand Slam that I heard when we
love six Sundario. I think that makes a different and
and I said this because after the last swing, Uh,
they were not the same thing. The energy, I think
it went now and we took care all that and

(22:01):
just go of our business and we're able to come back.

Speaker 5 (22:05):
Look at that off the menu, I give them two
options and I leave out the third because it was
in a loss. And that's the difference between a baseball
brain and an idiot like me recognizing that that was
the turning point even in a loss.

Speaker 1 (22:17):
For me, the most important is the torch. Theoscar Hernandez
is our hero joining us a Los Angeles hero, no
doubt about it. You look around that clubhouse to Oscar
and I mean, now you got you got snell in there,
you Mookie Freddy. You have this great relationship with shoe
Otani and you emerge kind of as the fan favorite,

(22:40):
which is a great testament to the type of player
in person you are. What's it like to be in
that clubhouse with all those guys. It seems like you
guys all find a way to get along and be together,
and you seem to have a great relationship with show.

Speaker 6 (22:53):
Hey, yeah it was I think it was magic. You
know since a Thursday. I feel when I get to
the cold House, Trainer, I feel like I belong here
with all of those guys and times the beginning, it's
been a great time in this organization. They treat me
really really good, not only me, but my family too.

(23:14):
And I think I was meant to be a Dodgers
and here here I am and just celebrating signing and
be able to come back.

Speaker 1 (23:24):
What do you do?

Speaker 4 (23:25):
Like, what do you do now?

Speaker 5 (23:26):
You had to come back to town, sign the contract,
take the physical, do the press conference, talk to us
things like that. What happens between now and when you
have to report to spring training. Where do you go?

Speaker 4 (23:36):
What do you do?

Speaker 6 (23:38):
Now? It's time to go back home. I live in
towns of Florida.

Speaker 7 (23:43):
Get ready and be ready for what it's coming for
us in twenty twenty five, and just trying to run
this back, running.

Speaker 1 (23:54):
It back as always and even talking to David Vase
showing love the great Taoscar Hernandez, Happy new year, Taskar.
Congratulations to you on all the success and thank you
for what you've brought to the city. It's been a
wonderful thing to watch the relationships develop with your teammates
and the fans. Congratulations the Oscar and have a great offseason.

(24:15):
We'll see in the spring.

Speaker 6 (24:17):
Thank you, Thank you, appreciate it. It was pleasure as to
talk to you guys.

Speaker 4 (24:20):
Pleasure, Our pleasure was ours. Thank you for being with us.

Speaker 1 (24:24):
You saw it, Matt, when we had ti Oscar on
this time last year. We knew it, you felt it,
you felt it in your loins list. It can go
one of two ways, well, really can go a number
of well, but the extreme, yes, the extreme. That picture.
We talked to Duffy, who we were like, best guy ever,

(24:44):
love him, Gonna have a relationship for yous never pitched
for the Dodgers one never once. Never We saw him
jogging one time. You guys yelled at Aim.

Speaker 4 (24:53):
They daddy, yeah, and he yelled at us.

Speaker 1 (24:55):
He was like hey. And then there's ti Oscar Hernandez
who were like, yeah, that's our guitar, that's our guy.
And then he helped lead the Dodgers to a World Series.

Speaker 5 (25:05):
Now the other way is you bring on Zach grank
after his press conference. Well, yeah, but he tries to
humiliate you. Yeah, but he tries to come on here
and humiliate us.

Speaker 1 (25:14):
That's true. But we still would have talked to him
again if he was offered. You really think so, we

about getting such Indeed.

Speaker 4 (25:22):
I've been offered presidents.

Speaker 1 (25:24):
They told me a castle these questions and I refused
to do it. What I'm saying is it's actually something
where we liked the guy and we knew that he
was a great addition despite not being a household name
at the time for the people of Los Angeles who
knew baseball probably didn't watch a lot of Canadian baseball
out here, and for him to become a household name

(25:45):
in La and for the petros and money showed to
be the introduxion to everybody. We tried to introduce the
world to Danny Duffy and he became shy.

Speaker 4 (25:54):
His body wouldn't cooperate.

Speaker 1 (25:55):
Now his puzzo went into his his body like a turn.

guys would take him in a heartbeat, and this is
all would happened, showing us now one of the most
unique characters.

I thought you're gonna unzip you jeans and it was
gonna say lucky you.

Speaker 1 (28:38):
No, Matt, that is no longer a viable brand on
this show, son of a bitch. He moved on to
Travis Smithiel. But lucky for you, I saw some sweet
black exploitation movies over the break, starting with the black
version of Get Carter TMS film Noir Corner. They'll be
too sure, just kidding. Another was a flat reputation, had

(29:00):
to be good visited. Note is that Guy Petross great
lovely black movies. Promiscuous women in this movie many in
the nude. In nineteen seventy two's kit Man starring NFL

(29:22):
wide receiver Bernie Casey is right and Pam Greer, she's
got big ones and you see him, I bet sloping
down naturally. Get Carter. That movie which was originally with
Michael Caine, then they made us. The Bone one was
based on a book called Jack's Return Home. Sex will Freak.

(29:46):
Hardcore hit man's brother is killed. He comes home in
this case from Oakland to Los Angeles and still got
the same porn vibe like Get Carter. If you know
the plot. TC Calvin from Magnum p I was in
it too, even Paul Gleeson from Breakfast Club. The principal

(30:11):
is that it as a cop anyway. Bernie Casey x
forty nine er and ram fabulous wide receiver also a
bowling green high hurdles all American fourth pick. Oh, here
he is talking.

Speaker 3 (30:27):
You sent me the telegram? What you want? I'm here
in La the airport. You're right, you take us as
your last ride on me. Corn On said he was
a genuine woman cars I gave buddy woman to another story.

(30:48):
What about the funeral raiser? I mean there's somebody with
my brother who is his own lady. If that's what
he told you, you guys are smart enough to do.
Gordell's dead. So you fall out here.

Speaker 1 (30:59):
Woo forty career touchdowns good number. Casey was in Sharky's machine.
I'll turn it out. What you go to do about
the situation, Bernie Casey? Also, and I'm gonna get you suckered? Yes, also,
and never say never again? Man, What you going to

(31:19):
do about the situation? You're gonna do about the situation?
You want to see him kill dudes in l A
kill's a guy in front of an elephant.

Speaker 4 (31:34):
The elephant freaks out.

Speaker 1 (31:36):
I just stands there. I'll turn it out. Do unto
others before they do under you. You got to handing
many lovely, diverse chances. Hit Man nineteen seventy two. Bernie

(32:01):
Casey Pam Greer in this movie spoiler alert, she's got
big ones eaten by lions. She is eaten by lions?

Speaker 4 (32:10):
What does that come about?

Speaker 1 (32:11):
They send her off in like a Wild Animal Park
and the Animals Eater.

Speaker 4 (32:16):
In Los Angeles.

Speaker 1 (32:17):
Yeah, it's like one of them animal parks, you know,
and like at Tarzana, not.

Speaker 4 (32:22):
Like the La Zoo. No, no, it's like Mark thirty four.

Speaker 1 (32:25):
Yeah, you know they had that stuff up there and
then the detective novels.

Speaker 4 (32:29):
Free for All.

Speaker 1 (32:30):
It was for Pam Gear's boobs.

Speaker 6 (32:33):
Matt.

Speaker 1 (32:33):
Listen to the trailer. Maybe you get a little vibe
for hit Man nineteen seventy two, starring Bernie Casey fort
Tack It hit me.

Speaker 8 (32:49):
His brother was dead and Tacking one of answers, I'm fast,
tell me who killed him. He took on the Black
Jungle single handed.

Speaker 1 (32:57):
That's not no one stop it take all the Black Jungle.

Speaker 8 (33:04):
The heavy dude are running scared when Tack it came
to even the score. Once they turned him on, they
couldn't turn him off.

Speaker 1 (33:21):
Yeah there's a line, get him. You got the good
Dan'll never stop. Run mus run.

Speaker 3 (33:32):
They wanted him dead. But who could do the job
on the hit Man?

Speaker 8 (33:38):
Birdy casing is attack it out to even the score,
you'd better watch out or the hit Man exactly.

Speaker 1 (33:47):
G gotta be good.

Speaker 4 (33:51):
And it's spelled with two words, hit man.

Speaker 1 (33:54):
Hit Man, hitting man. What you're gonna do hot a situation? Man, man,
what you're going to do about the situation? Now, Matt,
this one's a little different. We stay in the year
nineteen seventy two, and we stay in the world of
black exploitation.

Speaker 4 (34:11):
Okay, it's a hell of a year.

Speaker 1 (34:14):
Nineteen seventy two, the year before The Voice of the
Bolts was born.

Speaker 4 (34:17):
Ain't at the truth?

Speaker 6 (34:19):
True?

Speaker 1 (34:19):
This is the Black French connection. So we got the
black did Carter? Now this is the Black French connection,
and it is.

Speaker 4 (34:26):
The French Guiana Connection.

Speaker 1 (34:27):
No, just franch It's in Marseille. They go to Marsies. Okay,
this one is entitled Hi T exclamation point.

Speaker 4 (34:37):
Okay.

Speaker 1 (34:38):
Nineteen seventy two. Billy D. Williams, Ah, oh you thought
it was a lightweight No former Petrosen money guest. Billy D.
Williams in studio guest Federal agent is Billy D. Whose
daughter dies of a heroin overdose and he goes on
a rampage, Matt, like the video game Socking Faces and
then getting everybody killed in France. Oh so much face,

(35:02):
soalking early. Billy D is a well dressed effing man
in this movie with a sweet Jim Hill like hairstyle.
That's how Jim Hill's hair used to look for sure
a different time. Yeah, and this movie was an inside
look at the French heroin trade. Also very stylish. Anyway,

(35:25):
Billy creates a ragtag team of outcasts, including a junkie
call girl and a sniper and Richard Pryor to go
after the drug deal. Okay, movie's kind of a bummer.
It's like two hours and twenty minutes.

Speaker 4 (35:40):
That's way too long for that.

Speaker 1 (35:43):
But they do go to France and murder all the
heroin kingpins, and it's kind of fun to watch that
in creative way. You got a shotgun in a movie theater,
you got a poisoning with wine. Literally, Richard Pryor gets
in a wetsuit, a frogman pops out of the Mediterranean
and shoots a guy with a harpoon dot. It's in

(36:06):
the Twitter today.

Speaker 4 (36:07):
I'm behind that.

Speaker 1 (36:07):
It's amazing to see Richard Pryor do that. But an
arduous journey, oh yeah, and then Billy d pulls out
a rocket launcher and kills a gum. An arduous journey
of French drugs, murder and Richard Pryor jokes Hit nineteen

(36:28):
seventy two, not man, no, just hit. Here's Prior and
Billy d on a boat talking about the timing, you know,
because they have to work on the timing of the hits.
Very elaborated. The four seconds, give me two more seconds

(37:02):
than they killed? Talk of him.

Speaker 3 (37:08):
I'll tell you I'll take a fish.

Speaker 6 (37:14):
Lot official.

Speaker 1 (37:17):
Where there? Oh god, damn, I want to say that
Richard Bryan for the free basing incident?

Speaker 4 (37:29):
Music is you know trans on that line down there?

Speaker 3 (37:33):
Pull it up?

Speaker 7 (37:33):
Man?

Speaker 1 (37:34):
What are you worrying about?

Speaker 7 (37:34):
It?

Speaker 1 (37:35):
Probably goddamn fish up?

Speaker 8 (37:36):
What are you worry about?

Speaker 6 (37:37):
Is that your.

Speaker 1 (37:40):
Hit? Man? In nineteen seventy two Bernie Casey and nineteen
seventy two Bennide Williams. Hope you got a great vacation.
