LA Sports live everywhere on the iHeartRadio app and a
special installment of the petros in Money Shows. We are
proud to be broadcasting live, to be rubbing elbows, to
be standing shoulder to shoulder with true heroes, a great
volunteers in the city of Los Angeles. Is today's three

(01:02):
hour broadcast will come to you live from downtown Los
Angeles and the Dream Center.

Speaker 4 (01:07):
Yes, we are here in Echo Park in the shadow
of downtown Los Angeles. But Echo Park proper in Beautiful
Echo Park near the park, but at the Dream Center
it is a live show. We're going to be going
for three hours. The Dream Center and iHeart Media have
teamed up and they've done unbelievable things here. What we're

(01:30):
looking at is the donation line and then the pickup line.

Speaker 2 (01:34):
We're looking at a smooth operation piece. Weally looking for this.

Speaker 4 (01:37):
The scope of it is really really impressive. They've been
doing this. This is day eight that the Dream Center
has been up and running. They're going around town. This
is kind of like a staging area because they're going
all over the place and bringing a lot of this
stuff other places where there is need.

Speaker 3 (01:57):
But people.

Speaker 4 (01:58):
Obviously, the line when we got here is sick blocks long,
and they're doing unbelievable work. It's great to watch the
skill of the forklift drivers.

Speaker 2 (02:06):
Matt I can't get enough of it.

Speaker 3 (02:07):
To see the various volunteers.

Speaker 2 (02:09):
How about tank top ted over here. Oh, anyway, he's
directing traffic.

Speaker 4 (02:12):
There's a few tank top guys and they're all looking
pretty swoll.

Speaker 2 (02:15):
It's impressive.

Speaker 4 (02:16):
Everybody's having a great time and there's a lot of
great feelings in the air because people are volunteering, people
are in community and it is very impressive to see
what the Los Angeles community can do when something really
bad happens. And something really bad has happened with the fires.
People have asked me about donating, Matt and the website

(02:38):
we have has been open for over a week that
they can donate to the Dream Center or they can
come down here.

Speaker 2 (02:44):
That's what they would prefer, because you're gonna drop off
your goods. One of our three forklift operators, either smooth
Sally that we've seen, Flannel Frank or swoll Stand are
gonna get those goods right inside of this production line.
Those might not be their name, no, but that's that
be known as for the moment, uh And it is
an impressive operation. As you said, p. They go nine

(03:05):
am to seven pm, and you wouldn't know that these
people have been working all day or for eight days
straight because of the bouncing their step, the smile on
their face exactly right, the idea that they're doing something
great in supporting this community in its dire time of need,
and we are proud to be a part of it.
You can be a part of it through a financial donation.

(03:26):
AM five seven Ey La sports dot com keyword donate
or as you said, p you can do it with goods.
They still need non perishable food items. They still need
bottled water baby supplies. We are in front of the
diaper location. Appropriately is where you plant petros and money
when it comes to a live broadcast. Let's put it
right by the diapers.

Speaker 3 (03:46):
Of the wipes.

Speaker 4 (03:47):
This is the This is the staging area for iHeart.
So you know big Boy was here too, man, that's right,
he did it too. Okay, everybody, no dotter, you know
better than big Boy. Everybody's done it. Guys, get out
there and get after it. Tomorrow, Rogan and Rodney are
gonna noon to two.

Speaker 2 (04:01):
I've had a hard time parking exactly right, Hello, parked
on the street. The lots are full. Why are the
lots full, Because that's how many volunteers are here to
help the cause. They can use your sweat equity, they
can use your people power because there's a lot of
people that are cruising through with their hatchbacks and their
minivans and their trunks open, and they are getting the
essential items that they need in this trial, in this

(04:24):
trying time. And we're proud to be part of it peekle.

Speaker 4 (04:27):
Let's say you're one of those people that gets really
jazzed when you put on like a fluorescent vest. Oh yeah,
you get to tell people what to do. You good,
Here is the place for you. Look at her, See
how happy they are. Yeah, everybody's having a great time.
Touch it really is a beautiful thing, Matt. Now we're
gonna be here for about three hours because the Clippers
are playing tonight, Clippers at Portland tonight, So fully functional

(04:50):
employee Adam is coming up at seven o'clock. And then, Matt,
we do have a UCLA game tomorrow.

Speaker 2 (04:56):
No, just hear Josh Lewin shudder tomorrow.

Speaker 4 (05:01):
At six, So we'll have a flexiler tomorrow. We'll be
on from two Schaller to five point thirty. Now, as
far as our show goes, we're still in the Roki
Sasaki watch kind of command mode, wondering when that guy
is gonna sign does it really matter? Matt had a

(05:23):
big story the other day saying you might want Roki Sasaki,
but do you really need And you know, wants and
needs very prevalent here.

Speaker 2 (05:31):
Needs today at the Dreams, there are no wants in
this line. There is nothing but needs. Well, the folks
need these things.

Speaker 4 (05:38):
The people in this line want to donate, right, So
there's your wants, yes, well there's your needs. Great call
wants and these matt and you want to help, Well,
guess what.

Speaker 3 (05:49):
These people need your help.

Speaker 2 (05:50):
We've got a spot for you. You can come on
down and help out.

Speaker 4 (05:53):
And there's amazing things going on with many of our friends.
Pastor Matthew Barry.

Speaker 2 (05:59):
He's gonna honest, Barry's sitting right next to you doing
big work. Will reveal the generous contrary. He's negotiating. He's
negotiating with Fries in Burbank right now, trying to get
kids a bunch of laptops. I heard he wants to
get the UFO and put it on the front of
the Dream Center.

Speaker 4 (06:14):
He told Fries he wants twenty five cents on the dollar.
And if not, these kids aren't gonna learn to read
good like Zulander.

Speaker 2 (06:21):
Come on, seven hundred people being sheltered here at the
Dream Center right now. It's not just an opportunity to
dispense goods, but it's a place to lay your head
if you are in need. They have beds. Dream Center
is where we are today. It's where we'll be for
the next three hours. You mentioned Barry, he's gonna join us,
You mentioned pastor Matthew. He's gonna join us here. Clint
is here, He's gonna join us in the.

Speaker 3 (06:42):
Best like he's like dream Center Batman.

Speaker 2 (06:45):
Yeah, let her go. He looks in the face. It
kind of hit me today, and maybe it's because I
just read the article. But in the face he looks
like a young Bill Plashki right there in the face.
He's got it. He's got a Bill plash Look to him.

Speaker 4 (06:57):
Bill was fuller as a young man. Yes, I think
he'd prefer dream Center Batman. He would to a young
Bill Plashki, one of the finest writers in this column
today about his neighborhood in Alta Dina. Our thoughts and prayers,
of course, are with our friend Bill Plashki. So we're
gonna be all day here at the Dream Center. I

(07:18):
know it's best buy, but it's more fun to say
fries closed. It's closed. Matt and I have a history there.
We used to go buy movie STEVD porn there's true,
well no DVD, oh what oh what was it? Odyssey Video?
We used to use buy straight films at Fries Odyssey.

Speaker 3 (07:35):
You used to buy straight films.

Speaker 2 (07:37):
Can I ask a question before we move forward? Why?
Why is our engineer Bert dressed like the guy on
Old Bay Seasoning? What is wrong with him that he
looks this way?

Speaker 3 (07:49):
Bert looks like he's going a fish for lobster.

Speaker 2 (07:52):
It's not taking his hands out of his He wanted
to check my microphone and he used his chin well
to turn the pod off.

Speaker 4 (07:59):
Burt Bert set his lobster traps before he got here.

Speaker 3 (08:03):
Uh, I believe what the deal is here, Matt. You
know we're perchs.

Speaker 4 (08:07):
We're here in Echo Park, and Echo Park's got more
hills than a lot of places because think of it
like it's right underneath you Shavez Ravine, which, of course
you got to drive up the hill to get to
Dodger Stadium. So we're on the other side there, uh
here in Echo Park, and we're on the top of
a hill. We're cresting the hill with the Dream Center
hereful looking over the one oh one. So we're in

(08:29):
a little bit of a wind tunnel and Bert's been
feeling it all day and we are in a like
a particularly shady windy spot.

Speaker 3 (08:36):
Now over there at Muscle.

Speaker 2 (08:37):
Beach across the way, exactly right.

Speaker 3 (08:40):
These guys are in tank tops and they're swollen.

Speaker 2 (08:42):
I just got a guy puzzed out a bottle of
a wine Troppic and he just looped himself up.

Speaker 3 (08:46):
The sun is shining over there, right.

Speaker 4 (08:48):
And uh and you see they're using their musclows to
uh to move products into the cars of people in
neat So uh, that's that's what's going on.

Speaker 2 (08:57):
Over there over here, Matt muscle guy bottled water. Yeah,
an appropriate song.

Speaker 4 (09:03):
Ronnie might be the sunny side of the street as
the show goes on. But uh, yeah, I do have
a little information about the Dream Center, Matt. Perfect we
talked so much about it, but if we really talked
enough about it. No, the Dream Center on Bellevue was
founded in nineteen ninety four. Our friend pastor Matthew, who's

(09:23):
on his way to Alta, Dina right now to give
chromebooks to the young.

Speaker 2 (09:27):
Go blue is right, Go blue.

Speaker 4 (09:29):
Hey, No matter what Ohio State does in the championship,
they're not going to get one over on you guys.

Speaker 3 (09:34):
Yeah, you're still the champions for five nights.

Speaker 4 (09:37):
Yeah, but you know what, who cares if Ohio State
wins the title. Right, you showed who you showed who
was boss on the shoe. Yeah, you did your thing
in the shoe, that's right.

Speaker 2 (09:47):
Tim biaka Patuca forever your.

Speaker 4 (09:49):
Volunteer ship, Sir biaka Patuca took it to Eddy George forever.

Speaker 3 (09:55):
Anyway.

Speaker 4 (09:55):
Matt pastor Matthew is in Alta Dina right now, a
tireless Pentecostal pastor.

Speaker 3 (10:01):
Hence the name.

Speaker 4 (10:02):
He bought the Queen of Angels Hospital, which this building
used to be opened by Franciscan sisters. The sisters the
nuns in the area back in the twenties, noticed that
there was a need for hospital in the area because
you know, people were just dying of the tuberculosis and
affection and things of that nature.

Speaker 2 (10:22):
It was like the nick of the West Coast certainly.

Speaker 4 (10:24):
So the nuns begged door to door for money and
they built this begging door to door, a fourteen story
hospital and the charity of the city, which you see
on display right now before your eyes, Matt was also
on display one hundred years ago when they built the thing.
It opened in nineteen twenty eight. Who was born here?

(10:48):
Children of people like Bing Crosby and Ronald Reagan, that's
who and Clint's wife, Jeb Are you putting yourself on
the same level as Bing Crosbie and Ronald Reagan?

Speaker 3 (10:59):
Clint Hope?

Speaker 2 (11:00):
Now all the children of Bing Crosby and Ronald Reagan, right, they.

Speaker 4 (11:03):
This was good enough for them. Madeline Stowe, You're not
Madeline Stowe. Clint was born here. It was also used
as the hospital setting for the Adventures of Superman TV
series The Guy That Killed Himself?

Speaker 2 (11:20):
Oh way, yeah, yeah there the fifties. Okay, well you
think that I was like, did I miss the Superman
was Dean Kine was born here? No, he was a
little bit younger than that, Dean Kane.

Speaker 4 (11:30):
And it's also in one of the Halloween films nineteen
ninety five Halloween The Curse of Michael Myers.

Speaker 2 (11:39):
I think I missed that one.

Speaker 3 (11:40):
Seems like a place Michael Myers was.

Speaker 2 (11:41):
Sure you could see that.

Speaker 4 (11:44):
A Pam Anderson movie Snap Dragon shot here, and a
few made for television things as.

Speaker 2 (11:50):
Well, like mother, will I sleep with Danger?

Speaker 3 (11:52):
Mother?

Speaker 2 (11:53):
May I?

Speaker 3 (11:55):
Will you?

Speaker 2 (11:55):
Yes?

Speaker 4 (11:56):
Will you? You asked me, I've asked you for permission.
But Pastor Matthews swooped in like a pentecostal Raven and
bought it in nineteen ninety six, transformed the hospital, which
was in disrepair, and turned it into a social center

(12:16):
for the homeless, the downtrodden, prostitutes, those who have been
bolowed by the streets, gang members who want out.

Speaker 3 (12:31):
Once you get jumped in though, once you get.

Speaker 2 (12:32):
Off the porch, Hey, Pete Carro'll take care of that.

Speaker 3 (12:35):
Amen.

Speaker 2 (12:36):
Hit the streets and a leather chack. What happened? Get
you squared away?

Speaker 4 (12:40):
Gang members who want solace, they come here. They provide
makeup for your giant face tattoo. Pastor Matthew has spent
time merging churches and creating an epicenter of hope, help
and love and yes, Matt charity and fellowship. You see
it happen here. That's the truth. Associate Dream Centers. When

(13:04):
I pushed Dream Center into my satellite units navigation, it.

Speaker 3 (13:10):
Tried to send me to the Dream Center in.

Speaker 2 (13:11):
Lake elsinor look at that. I was like, damn.

Speaker 4 (13:13):
Pastor Matthew's gone, long fingers. There are like seventy Dream
Centers around the United States of America. Now this is
the very first. Associate Dream Centers have been established in
other cities. Eighty four centers around the world helping others.

Speaker 2 (13:30):
We got a year.

Speaker 3 (13:31):
We got the food bank, the Justin Turner and Courtney
Turner Food Bank back there.

Speaker 4 (13:37):
We got clothing, We got programs for victims of disasters
like these fires, domestic violence, matt lesdrugas and lost traffica
deustatus human traffic. Yes, all are welcome here at the

(13:59):
Dream Center. Cast me outside and come on down to
Omlanville and give or if you are in need, of course,
Pastor Matthew is here to give to you, so you
can take. And Pastor Matthew has the pentecostal spark of inspiration.
I just saw him striding out of here like Abraham

(14:20):
Lincoln headed Altadena.

Speaker 2 (14:21):
Do an interview through the phone hopped in a vehicle
on his way to Altadena.

Speaker 3 (14:25):
Echo Park.

Speaker 4 (14:26):
Is alive with Fellowship, matt I almost wore my Newport
T shirt today, But maybe the pleasure wouldn't be Yeah,
you're right, you know, if it's said alive with Fellowship,
it will that's.

Speaker 2 (14:38):
Right, then you'd be fine. But hey, we can bring
Newports back with a new slogan. There is some great
information about the Dream Center. It was a hospital that
opened in the twenties, and that's why it looks so cool.
And it was opened by nuns. And I took a
picture on x and uh, I took a picture by
the plaque that that Franciscan nuns put up over there,

(15:00):
over yonder on the other side of the building, Matt,
I believe you would call that the south west side
corner of the building.

Speaker 4 (15:08):
And and then I also took a picture with these
two awesome payphones that are fully functional, right fully operation.
You do not see that in a lot of places,
but you know the Dream Center. You're in trouble, you're
down trodden.

Speaker 2 (15:20):
I don't have a cell phone.

Speaker 4 (15:21):
You gotta call a private detective company or something. Elect
you called right there, you call Philip Marlow right there?

Speaker 2 (15:27):
Did you happen to get a look at what a
phone call costs these days? Come on, it says twenty
five twenty five.

Speaker 4 (15:36):
Look how swoll that guy is, dude, Look at how
Look at the.

Speaker 2 (15:40):
Small well you, sir, You need to get on bottle
of water duty. That's where the soul guys are, see exactly.
He's a palid guy. I'm gonna move a whole freaking pallette. Yeah,
he's a bottle water, bottle of water. Patients in my ass.
I'm gonna kill somebody. They call me pallette paint for
a reason. Move up, swall stand battap, flannel, pil tanked

(16:05):
up dead.

Speaker 3 (16:06):
I love this place. Uh yes, Matt, you were saying.

Speaker 2 (16:10):
Clint says that the payphones have not been serviced in
a while. Maybe we can send the old man in
the sea to go check it out. Lift up the receiver.

Speaker 4 (16:17):
Why I picked it up? I heard nothing. Ah, but
that doesn't mean that it's not working.

Speaker 2 (16:23):
But that doesn't mean you can't stand there on it.
Take a pick for the grand posted. I did that,
Like I did that, like the who am A calling?

Speaker 3 (16:30):
Where?

Speaker 1 (16:30):
You?

Speaker 5 (16:31):
Like?

Speaker 3 (16:31):
I look at the phone? Like who the right? I
did that?

Speaker 2 (16:33):
Like, oh, yeah, you know we should do We should
post picture and say who am I talking to?

Speaker 3 (16:37):
Wrong?

Speaker 2 (16:38):
Answers only That would go over great on the ground.

Speaker 4 (16:41):
That would get people to respond exactly right hand to
boost my profile.

Speaker 2 (16:44):
Boom, let's go viral. Get me in the algorithm.

Speaker 4 (16:49):
We're here in the algorithm with bottle water bill, bottle
water billing charity.

Speaker 3 (16:54):
Chuck.

Speaker 4 (16:55):
That's right, everybody's giving, everybody's feeling good.

Speaker 3 (16:58):
Been a terrible disaster in town.

Speaker 4 (17:00):
But people like the Dream Center, people pastor Matthew Clint,
all these wonderful volunteers. Oh it's beautiful, tank top ted
taking a break eating a sandwich.

Speaker 2 (17:09):
Right, you earned a Yeah, you earned it.

Speaker 4 (17:12):
He looks like Frank Castle, the punisher there on brain.
That's right, look at that guy. It's a wonderful thing.
Ronnie's back holding it down at the station for us.
We're here in Echo Park.

Speaker 2 (17:24):
And uh, the phone's work, says Cats.

Speaker 3 (17:28):
Dude.

Speaker 4 (17:28):
You can't have a non functional payphone outside the Dream Center.
That would push somebody over the edge. This this, and
this is happening in my life. If the payphones don't work,
that's it, you know.

Speaker 3 (17:40):
I mean they gotta work.

Speaker 2 (17:41):
I gotta find a quarter, need to call somebody.

Speaker 4 (17:45):
Well, there's plenty of people here that are willing to give.
We're sorry. Well, when we go back to break, we'll
play the music again. This guy loves the dance and
I love Chicken of the Sea. This guy's here to dance.
And coming up next we will talk to clar Yes,
Clint is who is who? Uh he is the leader
of logistics. That's the leader of logistics here at the

(18:06):
Dream Center. He's at campus noon Goon and we're going
to talk to him.

Speaker 2 (18:11):
He's got the parking to prove it.

Speaker 4 (18:12):
In the very next segment, Clint is the guy who
introduced us to Justin Turner.

Speaker 2 (18:17):
That's exactly right in the first place.

Speaker 3 (18:19):
That's why we have such a relationship with Justin Turner.

Speaker 4 (18:21):
Is Justin Turner going to be on today, as we tease, Well,
he's in Hawaii.

Speaker 3 (18:27):
He's on a catamaran right.

Speaker 2 (18:28):
Now, holding pattern, I believe is where we're It's possible
that he may.

Speaker 4 (18:33):
His catamaran is in a holding pattern back and forth
from Molokai.

Speaker 2 (18:39):
He's doing the scuba portion right now.

Speaker 4 (18:43):
I hope it doesn't get scooped up by the player
to drop the that'd be something in the tree. All right, Ronnie,
we'll be right back with Clint Carls and our friend
from the Dream Center and we will discuss leader of logistics.
We'll discuss the logistic going on here, because this is
an unbelievable undertaking and actually very interesting. It makes you

(19:05):
feel pretty good about the community you live in, right.
You know, we like to bash our civic leaders a
great deal, and for good reason. But the community Matt
the community of Los Angeles.

Speaker 2 (19:14):
It's beautiful.

Speaker 4 (19:15):
That doesn't represent no. These volunteers are are chaotic leadership.
And look at this line. Look at the traffic direction
right there.

Speaker 3 (19:22):
I'll tell you what's amazing. It's these fans.

Speaker 4 (19:26):
Is that Nick Hexham, Great job, Ronnie. We'll be right
back with more Petro somebody on AM five seventy sport.

Speaker 2 (19:37):
We're alive at the Dream Center. You can visit the
Dream Center in person. That's very loud. It's very loud
here because there's a lot of traffic. There's a lot
of people moving around. There's a lot of volunteers right
a lot of folks getting their supplies. It's a beautiful
afternoon to be at the Dream Center. Energy isn't an
all time high. And this is day eight that they've

(20:00):
been doing Day eight, nine am to seven pm. They
could still use your help. All the details at M
five seventy l a sports dot com keyword donate for
financial donations if you want to stop by the Dream
Center here. Non perishable food items. We just saw Chicken
of the Sea massive cans being pulled right in front
of us. That would be a non perishable food items.
It is a can tuna.

Speaker 4 (20:21):
I haven't seen so much tuna since they closed the
cannery down in San Pedro, California. Matt unbelievable logistical things
happening around here.

Speaker 2 (20:28):
It is something to behold. And there is a man
that drives the drive.

Speaker 3 (20:33):
That's right. We got to know this guy.

Speaker 4 (20:35):
The iHeart Medius association with the Dream Center, iHeartMedia's association
with Justin Turner. It all began with this guy, Clint Carleton,
of all people, Clint Carlton.

Speaker 3 (20:50):
Who he is the master of.

Speaker 2 (20:54):
He's the no, that's it.

Speaker 4 (20:55):
Yeah, you had a master of disaster, master of disaster,
director of disaster relief here.

Speaker 3 (21:01):
At the Dream Center.

Speaker 4 (21:01):
He's been working with Pastor Matthew and the Dream Center
and Dream Centers all over the country now for over
twenty years. He is a civic leader and one that
we actually like. Here on the Petros Money Show, joining
us on your Southern California Toyota Dealer celebrity headset right
here at the Dream Center and day eight of this

(21:22):
massive and very impressive charitable project that you guys are
putting on. Clint, how are you welcome to the show.

Speaker 6 (21:29):
You guys are too kind. You guys realize that you
guys started this ten years ago.

Speaker 2 (21:34):
Ten years it's been a decade.

Speaker 6 (21:35):
Ten years ago we started the Radiothons with the Dream
Center in a five seven LA sports we started the Radiothons.
And this is what it's moor to the carousel Compassion.
You know, people drop off supplies here, they go pick
him up, carousel compassion going around. We've been here since
last week and it goes from nine am to seven
pm every single day.

Speaker 4 (21:57):
Now, you guys have had some pretty big undertakings, just
that the whole place and all the places you guys
open and who you're trying to help. And we talked
to Pastor Matthew over Christmas and all the work you
guys do Thanksgiving. I mean, it's not like you guys
aren't used to massive undertakings. What is this compared to that?

Speaker 3 (22:14):
If we can ask, Well, if.

Speaker 6 (22:16):
You remember during COVID, we with the help of Justin
and Courtney turned off We've had five point five million
people during COVID. This was three hundred and eighty eight
days long of a drive through during COVID. So this
is you know, when Matthew basically he throws the batman
symbol in the air and says, this is what I
want to do. We only have a few palettes, we
only have a little bit of supplies, but I want

(22:38):
to help the community. Everybody just jumps in and helps, right,
And I think that that's what it shows who LA
truly is. And you alluded to this earlier. Is LA
has stepped up, you'll see cars, I mean around four
o'clock you'll see more and more cars come to donate.
And that's how it's been for eight days now, is
people are coming to donate, LA showing up. We had

(23:00):
over three thousand volunteers this weekend on Saturday and Sunday.

Speaker 3 (23:05):
Are you able to use all those people we put.

Speaker 6 (23:07):
Them to all work? Would help them merrily? Crystal on
the on the forklift tasocks. Oh yeah, they help out.
They make sure that the logistics are done in this place.
And we put everybody to work because we want everybody
to feel like they're actually doing something here.

Speaker 2 (23:20):
All right, Then I got to ask this question. You
got three forklift drivers. Yeah, it's really something to take
in the way they move those Yeah, good, it is efficient.

Speaker 4 (23:29):
It is impressive during COVID where they run it into
each other. I mean there had to be a learning curve.

Speaker 6 (23:33):
No, they're so good. And Merrily who was dancing out here,
she's actually one of the forklift drivers.

Speaker 2 (23:38):
Is right, Yeah, she can move a lift.

Speaker 4 (23:39):
Oh yeah, gee, Cassocks, what a catch, I'm telling you, man.

Speaker 2 (23:43):
Yeah, so they are employees of the Dream Center. They
are not guns for hire. No, this gun's not for hire.
That's a dream that's a Dream Center employee. It's moving
that machine.

Speaker 3 (23:53):
Absolutely, man, that's impressive. So overall, how long is this
going to go? How long?

Speaker 4 (23:59):
I mean people are gonna be in need for quite
some time with this disaster.

Speaker 2 (24:03):
Say in another week before they can get into their house.

Speaker 4 (24:05):
Yeah, well, how long is this gonna go? How much
juice does the Dream Center have it? And it's gas tank?

Speaker 6 (24:11):
Obviously this is gonna go week to week out here
where people come in and receive supplies. But as we
go on throughout the weeks, we're noticing more more and
more need. And so actually, Matthews and Altadina right now,
you just spoke about that, and so we're getting out
of school, right, we had a little play date. So
a school was destroyed by the fire, and so elementary

(24:33):
school a charter school up there and it was destroyed
by the fire. So Matthew went out to the play
date with some of our team with Amazon. They rolled
up with a big old Amazon truck and trying to
meet the needs of the people on the ground out there.
And so that's what they're out there doing now, and
we're going to continue this. This is not a two week,
three week thing. This is a six to nine year
long sometimes it can even last ten years, the whole

(24:56):
process of it. And that's what the Dream Center does.

Speaker 2 (24:58):
So we've been talking on the air for well these
eight days because you know we're partners, and since you
got this going, we've been announcing they need. So I'm
going to go through the list that we've been reading.
You tell me, Yeah, where was I'm looking out and
I see a palette full of peas, corn, green beans,
and maybe beats. But right we need hearts and palm.

(25:21):
So non perishable food items still need still need it,
Bottled water all right, baby supplies, diapers, wipes, still need it.

Speaker 6 (25:30):
Yes, five and six is diapers?

Speaker 2 (25:32):
Okay? What's that?

Speaker 6 (25:32):
Five and six is size five and six.

Speaker 2 (25:34):
Size all right, So there we go. Size five and
size six diapers is what we need. I would assume
wipes absolutely all right. Pet food we all we need it.
Pet supplies, that's right, all right, personal hygiene products, bring
it on anything. We're forgetting gift cards, gift cards.

Speaker 6 (25:49):
Bring gift cards so you can give them out part
of people. So bring gift cards. You can bring them
up in for the kids. Yeah, drop them off at
the table right here. Uh, you know. And it's easy.
And to volunteer, you guys check that out the iHeartRadio
Heart right there, that's where they vot. That's where they
go volunteer. So it's simple. So you show up. All
you to do is sign a waiver and they come
here volunteer and we get you on track.

Speaker 3 (26:11):
And somebody puts you to work. Now how long I
mean when we rolled.

Speaker 4 (26:14):
Up here, it took me a second to figure out
one's a donation line and one as a receiving line
and all that, and then a lot of before we
get to that, a lot of this stuff is just
being set other places.

Speaker 3 (26:26):
This is like a stage air.

Speaker 6 (26:28):
Absolutely.

Speaker 3 (26:29):
Yeah.

Speaker 6 (26:29):
The line right now out in that one six blocks long.
So we we kind of got our message out on
Instagram and people follow the flow, so so we message
it on Instagram logistic wise, and we said, Okay, this
street's going to be where you know, you come get
your spice, and this street's going to be where you
come drop off. So it's been so great overall.

Speaker 4 (26:47):
We are here at the Dream Center talking to Clint Carlton,
our hero.

Speaker 3 (26:50):
He is windy. Where is it always this windy up here?

Speaker 6 (26:53):
No? Just the fat past few days has been pretty windy, Satcha.

Speaker 3 (26:57):
Oh that there's no doubt about that.

Speaker 2 (27:00):
Eight days ago.

Speaker 4 (27:01):
Clint is the disaster relief director here at the Dream
Center and they're doing incredible work and helping people. How
long does that? How long are people in line to donate?
And how long does it take to get do you
have any idea of you tested it out here.

Speaker 6 (27:17):
So donate. It's pretty quick. I think the team told
us yesterday that it took about two and a half
hours at the very end of the line to reach
the front of the line. It's about two and a
half hours. A book on tape, yeah, and they and
they literally sit in line and so you see that
they're riding on the cars. They'll write on the cars
probably about a mile down the road to say see
what they need different supplies and then the team up
here will then direct it over and put the stuff

(27:40):
in it.

Speaker 2 (27:40):
So and it is so it is so tight, it
is so buttoned up. Pee that after they write what
they need on the windshield their final stop, got a
little windex right there, Wow, wipe off what they needed
on the windshield as they make their exit.

Speaker 3 (27:56):
I mean you just get down to Wilsher and Vermont.

Speaker 2 (28:00):
A little bit of right.

Speaker 6 (28:01):
Hey, and you miss something when you were naming everything
Dream Center. Right past the truck down on the bottom floor,
it's Kershaw's Park. So Clayton and Ellen Kershaw have a
park where the kids, a kid's park, beautiful down on
the other side.

Speaker 4 (28:13):
So now you guys, you guys are not only doing this,
but your normal everyday Dream Center operation is up and
running as well.

Speaker 6 (28:21):
Yeah, we still have seventy thousand homeless living in Los Angeles,
so we still have to do our jobs, do our work,
you know, as as we keep this going.

Speaker 2 (28:29):
So what does that look like? What's the what's the
because I know we've also been talking about if you
need shelter, the Dream Center's doors are open. What is
the shelter portion of this.

Speaker 6 (28:38):
Well, shelter portion were we're open for you, and we
take pets. That's a good thing. A lot of people
out there, there are a lot of organizations are taking pets.
We are taking pets. And so you come here, and
you know, Matthew's always said, we give you the luxury
of time, and so if you need to stay here
long term six to nine months, not pay rent after
your house has been destroyed by fire, we're here for you.

(28:58):
And so you know, we and you right now. Absolutely
we do do backdround checks on that and make sure
that they actually you know, lived in the fire area.
But that's what we do, and so we're here for
them and you know, help them get to the next level.

Speaker 4 (29:11):
And it's not just people who have who've had their
house burned down, which is you know, worst case scenario
obviously dying, but worst case scenario that people are dealing
with in the city of Los Angeles right now is
that their house burned down. But it's not just those
people that are able to come here and receive assistance,
right it's everybody.

Speaker 6 (29:28):
It's it's if you're a homeless family out there, we
have a place for you, homeless veteran, we have a
place for you. If you're you know, have a drug
and alcol pro pro. If you have dragging up problem,
excuse me, I have a problem right now, then we
have a place for you. So we have a place
for pretty much everybody here at the Dream Center.

Speaker 4 (29:43):
And then specifically, even if your house didn't burned down,
but you've been affected by the fires, you can come
here and receive some of these donations.

Speaker 6 (29:50):
Absolutely because restaurants and businesses have burnt down. And that's
what we're looking at right now is you know, people
that get to work, people that can't go to work
down and so many times.

Speaker 2 (30:00):
We hit the nanny jam when we're leaving Riviera. All
those people that looked after kids, looked af their houses,
all of that, they got no jobs right now.

Speaker 6 (30:07):
Yeah, so La La definitely jam.

Speaker 5 (30:11):
Yeah.

Speaker 3 (30:12):
Uh, there's no doubt about it. You guys are doing
beautiful stuff.

Speaker 4 (30:15):
And Day eight going on today, twenty day whatever they
have to do with twenty here at the Dream Center.
The great Clint Carlton, friend to all here in the
city of the cu DoD.

Speaker 3 (30:27):
Thank you, Clint. We appreciate you.

Speaker 4 (30:29):
And thanks for having us out, Thank you for being
tell us what your favorite show there, I mean, any
other highlights of iHeart types that have come out here
this week. No, you're but who's tickled your fancy in
particular other than us?

Speaker 6 (30:40):
You guys are JoJo's great. I took Jojo down the
tunnel last night, Little Jojo. Yeah, the scared of tunnels
I had. I had a guy sitting there with a
Michael Myers mask on when he went down to the tunnel.

Speaker 3 (30:52):
What tunnel?

Speaker 6 (30:53):
We have tunnels underneath the Dream Center. What the nuns
built them?

Speaker 1 (30:56):
You know?

Speaker 3 (30:56):
Yeah, there's what were they doing down there alone?

Speaker 6 (30:58):
I'll have to show them to you later.

Speaker 3 (31:00):
Oh my god.

Speaker 6 (31:02):
Yeah, they're pretty scary.

Speaker 3 (31:04):
That's why.

Speaker 6 (31:04):
That's where all these movies were filmed. Like, uh, Friday
the thirteenth was filmed down in the boiler room.

Speaker 3 (31:10):
I thought it was Michael Myers.

Speaker 6 (31:11):
No, Michael Myers was filmed here as well.

Speaker 3 (31:13):
Okay, I didn't I missed the Friday the thirteenth.

Speaker 6 (31:15):
You're gonna have that put in the way, yes, right,
So when so when he's chasing the kid through the
boiler room Freddy Krueger.

Speaker 2 (31:20):
Oh, we're talking nightmare elms? Yeah, yeah, the original yeah
Kid through the many nightmares from here?

Speaker 6 (31:26):
Yeah right here?

Speaker 3 (31:27):
Take that down there?

Speaker 2 (31:28):
I might freak out.

Speaker 3 (31:29):
Man, did jo Jo making out?

Speaker 6 (31:31):
He made it out?

Speaker 3 (31:32):
Jo Jo made it out.

Speaker 6 (31:33):
I can't think this enough. This guy enough, our former mayor.
Look at that he's been out serving with us for
the past two days via Gosa.

Speaker 2 (31:41):
Look at that he's been serving with us. Show the
people he's the man.

Speaker 6 (31:45):
He's been out putting stuff in cars, taking stuff out
of cars. He was just out in Altadena as well.
And so he's been serving with us, and we can't
thank him enough for being with us.

Speaker 3 (31:54):
He's not the one that took Harry and Meghan around,
is he?

Speaker 6 (31:57):
I don't think so. He's been great to us.

Speaker 2 (32:00):
Oh yeah, I mean look at that. That's a now
that we see the eyes.

Speaker 3 (32:03):
Yeah, that's a good.

Speaker 6 (32:07):
For twenty years, that guy's been one of our greatest
supporters here at the Dream Center.

Speaker 4 (32:10):
Nobody loves local politicians one than the Petro some money
at the absolutely adore them.

Speaker 3 (32:15):
Uh clik, we adore you, and thank you for being
here and being being a friend.

Speaker 2 (32:19):
Uh the DDR Director of Disaster Relief.

Speaker 4 (32:22):
Go get Jojo out of the boiler room. That's right
before Freddie Rex's nightmares. Anybody else come here that.

Speaker 3 (32:28):
You like better? Than us.

Speaker 6 (32:29):
No, nobody. Big Boy, Hey, big Boy was cool. Big
Boy was cool. Cruise, Yeah, Cruise was down here. Cruse
was serving. Uh what was he serving?

Speaker 4 (32:39):
Uh?

Speaker 6 (32:39):
We uh what'sell? Pretzel was out here, and so Cruise
was out serving.

Speaker 4 (32:44):
Why why we're here in week two? Like the disaster
is still going but not as disastrous, and like you know,
you can't get big get big guns. Last week the FM.

Speaker 3 (32:52):
Types and now the dregs of the AM dial are here.

Speaker 6 (32:55):
No, everybody was excited for Petros some money to come out. Yeah,
money show, mister, just for you guys. He made an
appearance out here.

Speaker 3 (33:05):
I was like, Mayor, I know that's not Tom Bradley.

Speaker 2 (33:08):
Which guy coming, mister Mayer is coming up?

Speaker 3 (33:12):
Is this is viaa Gosa comment?

Speaker 2 (33:14):
Yeah, here we go.

Speaker 4 (33:16):
Come on, come on on, Mayor via Gosa turn right now,
mister Mayor, one of the great, wonderful up the Dream Center.
Nobody loves politics more than I. That's the truth, mister Mayor.
How's it going over here?

Speaker 1 (33:27):
You know.

Speaker 5 (33:29):
When people talk about what makes America great, it's all
the volunteers here.

Speaker 2 (33:35):
That's right.

Speaker 5 (33:36):
I have been all over this town, whether it's baby
to baby, the dream Center, the North Valley Services Center.
You know what's going on and what was going on
in Santa Nita. People are coming together. I've seen homeless
people volunteering right next to doctors and lawyers.

Speaker 2 (33:55):
It happened fast too.

Speaker 5 (33:57):
It's beautiful and it says so much about the goodness
well I heart, about the heart of people.

Speaker 7 (34:05):
It just it makes you, It makes you want to cry.

Speaker 2 (34:07):
I'll tell you.

Speaker 3 (34:07):
We used to be called clear Channel.

Speaker 2 (34:09):
Yeah, and it's clear clear Eyes wants to be here.
Clint said, you've been doing this for a long time
with them. What is it to share with us? The
Dream Center? What it means to you? They're real. I
mean they're real.

Speaker 5 (34:22):
They they have what seven hundred odd places where people
can stay, and they don't do this on this level.
They did it during COVID, but you know they're always
providing food and other things to people and it's just
a beautiful thing that people who live in their faith,
you know, and trying to make a difference.

Speaker 4 (34:42):
You've had a career in civil service. When did you
first come into contact with the Dream Center and understand
what they do?

Speaker 5 (34:50):
I think about I think when I was a council member,
So that was two thousand and three.

Speaker 3 (34:55):
So about twenty twenty two years, two years?

Speaker 2 (34:57):
Did you ever think it would grow into this? No,
I don't think anybody did. I don't think you did.

Speaker 5 (35:03):
I used to go to the services that the Dream
Center used to do on Sundays, and uh, you know,
just a lot of good energy, people that are really
living their faith.

Speaker 2 (35:11):
And not just talking about it, and just a beautiful thing.

Speaker 7 (35:16):
What a beautiful thing.

Speaker 3 (35:17):
Well, it's the talk show when we've got to talk.

Speaker 1 (35:19):
So.

Speaker 4 (35:21):
Exactly right, So you don't need me for that, but
I just the great Novia appreciate you and thank you.
It's wonderful to see somebody, uh that we recognize from
television and and going around and and living that life
and walking the walk, like you said, living living their
faith and reaching out to people.

Speaker 3 (35:39):
This is a hard time in the city.

Speaker 8 (35:40):
And although you know, I've been moving boxes and crates
and all the rest of it, mostly what I've been
doing is chronicling the heroes of this town, the people
who extend the hand to a stranger, who may do
it because of their faith, they may do it because
they believe that we're live in a community and we
all have a responsibility for one another, but for whatever

(36:03):
reason they do it. Thank you all the volunteers here
at the Dream Center and in Los Angeles, no matter
where you are, no.

Speaker 2 (36:11):
Perfectly put, you could have been a mattin a Idol
cover up.

Speaker 4 (36:16):
It looks pretty Tiger beat looks pretty good. Good looking
down about it, beautiful. He's going to do some work,
that's right and where we're going to do some work
by going to commercial and then we'll be right back
with Barry from Barry's Tickets. Barry's got deep pockets and
he's going to tell you how deep, and he reaches
deep down with his long arms and he distributes the

(36:38):
money to the people that are in need when times.
We'll be right back with more great sports talk on
an FHI seventy l A Sports your home of the Dodgers.

Speaker 2 (36:59):
Bet your some money five seventy LA Sports Live everywhere
on the iHeartRadio app. Making our way to seven o'clock.
We're live at the Dream Center. The Master of Disaster,
the Carousel of Care. Clint was with us on our
last segment talking about what they do. Cavalcane of Compassion
exactly right, and it's here an Echo Park, Downtown LA

(37:19):
adjacent You can donate to the cause at am five
to seventy la Sports dot com keyword donate, or you
can show up and donate goods, hard goods. They need,
non perishable food items, bottled water, baby supplies, diaper size
five and six wipes, pet food, pets supplies, personal hygiene products,

(37:40):
and gift cards. That's what they're looking for now.

Speaker 4 (37:47):
Not everybody has got the deep pockets of the great
Berry from Barry's Tickets, a philanthropist and businessman in our
town that he does great business at Barry'stickets dot Com
been associated with Barry from Barry's Tickets even before I
came over here to clear Channel in America.

Speaker 3 (38:07):
Now iHeartMedia.

Speaker 4 (38:09):
The one and only Barry has reached deep into his
heart and given twenty five thousand dollars to what is
it Avison Charterarter School in Alta Dina. All there it burned,
and all their chromebooks burned, and Barry bought all the

(38:29):
kids chromebooks because he's that kind of guy. Barry heard
the call and came to Echo Park. He heard the
echoing all the way out there in the valley of Calabasas,
and here he is giving to the people. Barry God

(38:51):
bless you. Thanks for doing it. Tell us how it
all came together.

Speaker 7 (38:54):
Brother, Well, probably for the last ten years. My good
friend Dave Weese from iHeart, Yes, Patro's some money. Dave
gives his heart and soul to help people, that's all
he does. Has been doing this charity for We're raising
money for the Dream Center forever. And now they've been
doing amazing things, feeding people at every holiday. But on

(39:15):
a regular basis, they have rooms, they have they just
do good. But now I'm amazed with this. I mean,
I'm saying I came up, drove up here and there's
a thousand cars just never stopped. The sculpe of Rome
and they get cases of water, they get dog food
if they need it. They get toilet paper, they get diapers,

(39:37):
anything and food and it's in Red Bull if if
that's what they want. Patro's made sure Red Bull did
a big donation. I love it and it's amazing and
I did it. Yeah, Red bulls white kids doesn't have
a gall Bladdery. I didn't just write a check for
twenty five thousand. They need more than twenty five thousand.
So I want to see all the white all of

(40:01):
us lucky business people. I expect everybody to call in
and give some money. I know that you all have
your own charities. I know there's a lot of people
from the Palisades who lost their house, but I really
and I feel for all of them, but Alta Dina,
these are generations of people who I don't think many
people can afford to rebuild their homes, and many of

(40:24):
them have their whole families living in these who are
living these houses. So this is we have to help.
We all have to step up. I'm going to do more.
I'm just waiting to see what the next thing to do.
I'm really pro charter schools because it helps these kids
who they have nothing and they get this opportunity for

(40:46):
an amazing education, but they have to work and they
have to learn. And most of these kids are going
to go to college, many will get scholarships, and then
they're going to give back to their community. And I
like the cycle of giving back. Well, that's what I'm
all for.

Speaker 2 (40:58):
You started in the right place, I think. You know
when you figure the kids in high school, they had
to go through COVID in middle school and all of
the online learning, and now they're dealing with in the
case of Avison or Pali Hi, you're talking about losing
your school and your classmates and your community for the
second time through the course of your you know, youth,
your adolescent, your young adult life, and that is a

(41:22):
lot for people to overcome. So the fact that you
gave the twenty five thousand dollars to go straight to
Davison Charter is a great place to start to try
to help these kids have I mean, it's not normal.
See that's not coming back, but at least something.

Speaker 7 (41:34):
And I urge all of the companies, all my friends
who yes, you've worked hard your whole life, but now
you have companies, and you have law firms, and you
have accounting firms, and all my friends who just work
and do their best, you all can dive deep and
give something to help these communities. Because my community of

(41:54):
Vincino was very We were evacuated and the people that
are literally just for houses for me, they still can't
go back to their homes. They still have no power,
they haven't had power for eight or nine days. And
we're the lucky ones. I mean, if it would have
gone over that cliff, my house would have been burnt
down too, So I feel.

Speaker 3 (42:12):
That Hino's burning, then all of La gonna burn.

Speaker 5 (42:16):
I was.

Speaker 7 (42:17):
I was terrified.

Speaker 4 (42:18):
It was a real nutcutter. A couple of nights ago,
the great Berry from Barry's Tickets. It's Berry's tickets dot
Com joining us. He gave twenty thousand.

Speaker 7 (42:26):
Five twenty five because I'm gonna get more. I'm gonna
give He's gonna give more. Yeah, and just different places.
I was gonna say, twenty plive. Can I just do
a shadout?

Speaker 3 (42:35):
Also do it? Yeah?

Speaker 7 (42:37):
Absolutely, It's not very expected. No, this is for our
La Clippers, who won by fifty nine points last night. Okay,
that's all.

Speaker 2 (42:44):
I just, oh, say, fifty nine point fifty nine grand
I thought, yeah, they's gonna be something.

Speaker 7 (42:50):
But I'm sure the Clippers are extremely wealthy organization. Maybe
they're listening.

Speaker 2 (42:55):
Well, I don't know.

Speaker 4 (42:56):
They could give a billion dollars their marketing department not
exactly fans of this.

Speaker 3 (43:00):
Petro said money Show Barry believe it or not.

Speaker 7 (43:03):
Well, but they're like, A right, that's true, that's true.

Speaker 2 (43:07):
You know we could do it under the umbrella.

Speaker 7 (43:09):
Yeah, just do it on the umbrella. This is the
first time since Dave weis and I have been involved,
and everybody else where, every iHeart station because of the need,
has really stepped up for the Dream Center. And it's
amazing what they've accomplished. So it doesn't matter Clippers if
you don't, if you're not into petros and money, they're

(43:30):
they're true to the marketing department.

Speaker 3 (43:32):
We don't know.

Speaker 2 (43:32):
Balmber Bomber would love us. He would love us. He's
really That's how I feel about it, Barry. That's how I, Barry,
make the connection be our match.

Speaker 7 (43:42):
Gillian Zucker is an amazing president of the team. To
Gillian Zuckers, she's she's the president of the Clipper.

Speaker 3 (43:49):
Play the cricket. Play the crickets, Give them the crickets,
let them feel it, feel it now.

Speaker 4 (43:58):
I saw Pastor Matthew headed to alt the Dina to
give him the good news about your chromebooks. Barry, why
didn't you roll with him like Batman and Robin. I'd
love to, but you'd rather he left before you got here.
He strode out of here to give the good news.

Speaker 7 (44:14):
We can go back and deliver them.

Speaker 4 (44:15):
He's going to come back and yeah, at four o'clock
and we're going to talk to pastor Matthew Barry from
Barry's Tickets is here.

Speaker 2 (44:22):
We would be remiss. How about Microsoft just donates them?
How about that?

Speaker 3 (44:24):
I agree?

Speaker 7 (44:25):
And best by best by. I know you're going to
get really big discounts. We push fries. The lower you go,
the lower you go best buying the price for you know,
that's giving, that's giving back. And I'll buy more for
them if you lower the prices enough.

Speaker 4 (44:38):
You know, Barry, it's hard to have you on and
not ask you for what the people really want, which
is sports analysis, especially about the NBA. You know what
you think about what's going on with our local basketball teams. Briefly,
uh goes a long way for us. Okay, okay, where
who you want to start with? The Lakers or the Clippers?

Speaker 7 (44:57):
Clippers?

Speaker 2 (44:57):
All right, you went last night, let's him they won
fifty they.

Speaker 7 (45:01):
Won by fifty nine. You gave fourth most you're under
selling fourth most points. I didn't get four thousand, and
it's the fourth most points that in NBA team's ever
won by Lakers, and seventy three were in the top
three of winning.

Speaker 3 (45:17):
It's a good stat Yeah, yeah, so you like you
like the Clippers? You like that girl?

Speaker 7 (45:21):
Like the fact that the Clippers without Paul George.

Speaker 3 (45:25):
But you never liked No He's a nice man.

Speaker 7 (45:28):
When I met him, he was nice, But I didn't
like the trade. I want shake Gildas. Alexander pa wanted him,
but without him, Norman Powell stepped up in their playoff team. Okay,
and now I was pleasantly surprised. How good?

Speaker 1 (45:47):
What?

Speaker 3 (45:47):
Who? Why? Why did he say? What's he doing? We're
on the air.

Speaker 7 (45:51):
What Kawhi Leonard? How good he played last night?

Speaker 3 (45:55):
Yeah?

Speaker 7 (45:55):
And I think he's going to help the team. I
didn't know he was if he was going to come
back on coffee.

Speaker 3 (46:01):
America.

Speaker 7 (46:01):
Coffee is underrated. To America, coffee is underrated. I run
a good guy. So now the Lakers, Yes, okay, you
could transmission yourself.

Speaker 3 (46:08):
You don't even need to play my player.

Speaker 7 (46:10):
I really like the team and I think they nobody's
gonna want to play them in the playoffs. But one
more trade. We need a center.

Speaker 2 (46:18):
Okay, we need to let you.

Speaker 4 (46:20):
But your friend, your best friend, Magic Johnson Tradedos for
Mike Mustalini.

Speaker 7 (46:26):
There's a lot of good in Magic, but not as
a GM. Not as a GM. He also insisted on
Lonzo Ball. We could have had or Tatum Tatum Tatum.
More than half of the guys in the room and
a couple of wanted dearon Fox I want and Magic
wanted Lonzo.

Speaker 3 (46:46):
Fox.

Speaker 2 (46:46):
We were a Fox Fox fans.

Speaker 7 (46:48):
We can get him. Now we have to give the
whole team. Well, you know, yeah, both of our teams
in LA are going to be formidable when it comes playoff, tkay,
but not.

Speaker 2 (46:59):
To then that's what we like.

Speaker 3 (47:00):
But they ain't gonna win anything. It ain't.

Speaker 7 (47:04):
Around or two.

Speaker 3 (47:05):
All right, okay, and that's money in your pocket.

Speaker 7 (47:07):
I'll take it.

Speaker 3 (47:08):
That's right.

Speaker 2 (47:09):
How many more tickets? How many more tickets can you
sell if the Dodgers signed Roki Sasaki in the next
couple of days, a lot more?

Speaker 7 (47:14):
Right, Well, if the Dodgers let me, if the Dodgers
let me own tickets, then I could. Then I can
get more and sell more.

Speaker 2 (47:21):
But they're going to do better.

Speaker 7 (47:22):
But it's good for the community because there's so it's
it's great for LA when the Dodgers go to the
World Series and win. It just makes everybody happier.

Speaker 2 (47:31):
