a bachelor report. That's right, that happened. Maybe it got
(02:15):
under your radar but not mine. Who so that will
be headed your way in the very next segment. But
right now, it is time for the top story of
the day. Top story of the day.
Speaker 2 (02:29):
Well, we discussed it yesterday that the football talk would
be coming. Had an opportunity.
Speaker 3 (02:34):
I walked up this morning, man, I clapped my hands,
I taped up my wrists and my ankles. I started
doing karaoke, started doing karaoke around the bed, really started
getting it going. I'm really hearing out it about this
football talk Matt.
Speaker 2 (02:48):
Here it is spent a lot of time over there
at the convention Center of the press conferences started today
with head coaches, general managers, all the reporters, a bunch
of scouts, former scouts, media types, all making their way
inside the Convention Center and Lucas Oil Stadium as workouts
will begin tomorrow we start with the biggest store. Actually
(03:08):
they start Thursday, but tomorrow the player pressers again. The
biggest story is one that is not going to go away,
and it seems like Matt Stafford's getting traded. That is
what the vibe was around the combine today.
Speaker 3 (03:22):
Well, if you need a dog in the room and negotiations,
you don't have far to look.
Speaker 2 (03:28):
If I have to be the dog a dog, I
will be the dog. More and more people are coming
around to the idea. And this can I think fall
into one of two, you know categories, maybe either coaching hubris.
(03:48):
I'm Sean McVay. I made the Super Bowl with Jared Goff.
We didn't win, but we made it. I won games
with Baker Mayfield having three days to prepare with Jimmy Garoppolo,
with John Woolford, I'm like.
Speaker 3 (04:00):
I'm Cornelius Bennett. You can't block me exactly right. How
do you want to apologize to him? No, Kyle Shanahan's
the same way. I'm winning with mister irrelevant. I can
win with Brian Hoyer, Kevin O'Connell. I can win games
with Josh Dobbs. I'll take Sam Darnold for ten million
bucks one year.
Speaker 2 (04:19):
Oh what do you know? I went fourteen and three
of these guys are all from the same tree, the
same foundation. They run the same system, and it's obvious
that they think it's the system. Not a mcvay's credit.
Speaker 3 (04:30):
Well, they'd like to have a quarterback, but they're not
going to be held over the barrel by some guy's
dog like wife.
Speaker 2 (04:35):
Exactly right. She's gotta be a dog a dog. To
mcveagh's credit, he recognized that, Okay, maybe it's not the system.
Maybe the challenges that he faced with Goff and the
rumors out there that he was talking until the very
last segment in an effort to coach him up before
the mic was cut. We're just too much. They sent
out two first round picks and goff to Detroit to
(04:57):
bring in one of the elite passers in the league,
and it worked competitive since they've won playoff games, they've
won a Super Bowl, and a lot of that is
on the right arm of man, A man married to
a dog. A dog. I want to be a dog.
Speaker 3 (05:10):
If I have to be the dog here and talk
about Cooper.
Speaker 2 (05:15):
But for whatever reason, certainly sounds like we according to
people chatting with earlier today, we're going to see a
dramatic shift in the most important position in all of sports,
one where the Rams currently have a solution and are
comfortable turning that solution into we think a question mark.
So why would they do that? Why are so many
(05:36):
other teams ready to jump in the chance to take
on Stafford? And that shouldn't be a red flag for
less Need and Sean McVay that they're like, yeah, fifty
to fifty five million, Great, you want some picks too, Awesome,
let's go. Here's a few theories being kicked around surrounding
that who's got better medical on Stafford than any other
team in the NFL? His current one maybe they know
(05:57):
there's something that's going on that makes it likely that
he's just going to play one or at most two
more seasons, or they know how he's thinking that he's
ready to hang it up, that it's taken too much
of a toll on his body, his back, his shoulder, concussions,
the wife, if you need me to be a dog,
I'm gonna be a dog, or the family. Something has
tipped them off that this thing is at the end.
(06:19):
And because it's at the end, if they can extract
multiple Day two picks for him, say a high two
and a four this year and another two next year,
that that is a big win for a team that's
done a hell of a job drafting players and seemed
to hit on a lot more guys than they miss.
Puka Nakua, Kyron Williams fifth round picks, their top twenty
(06:40):
players at their positions, Byron Young Kobe Turner were third
round picks, Braydon Fisk Steve Avila second round picks, and
of course, they hit a home run with the defensive
player of the year in Jared Vers last year, who
was selected nineteenth overall. A granted six quarterbacks, four pass catchers,
and five offensive linemen went in the top twenty ahead
of them. But still they can see it, they know it.
(07:00):
They hit on their picks. It's cheap labor. It allows
them a whole mess of freedom in free agency and
extending their own guys. And that's the other part of
this too, is they've done too good of a job
drafting and a lot of these guys are going to
be up at the same time and they're all going
to get paid. You can't franchise all of them. I
(07:21):
already mentioned. They're in a pukainakua Vila Turner young, They're
all in the same draft class. They are all important
to this team's success, and they are all up after
next season. And that's premium positions and that's a lot
of money too. D line and O line and a
wide receiver.
Speaker 3 (07:40):
To get paid.
Speaker 2 (07:42):
Now this Kelly really isn't gonna like p Another theory
is they really like Sam Darnold, that he could be
the guy that dog is gonna bark. That h mcveigh's
pals koc last year in Minnesota and Kyle Shanahan, who
(08:02):
had him the year before, all offer up glowing praise
of Darnald. The measurables are there, the physical trades, the
arm strength, the toughness, the athleticism, smart guy. And if
you are looking at a mid tier QB extension thirty
to forty million per year instead of a guy that
wants fifty five million for the next three years at
thirty seven year olds thirty seven years old, does Darnald
(08:26):
line up? Is he the guy they want him? They
see this opportunity. Maybe he wants to go back to
Los Angeles. Give him a little bit of a discount,
and now you've got your guy for potentially the next
eight to ten years. And even though Kelly is barking
because she's got to be that down, that extra twenty
million bucks per year to spend goes a long way
(08:47):
to building something sustainable with all this young talent that
you've managed to draft that's going to need to be paid.
So today the news was that kind of the official
news that was making the way out there on the
social media. Cooper Cup is getting traded. He's been told
as much. Period. There's no more him just saying hey,
I think this is gonna happen, and that not a care.
There's no going back from that. So maybe this is
(09:09):
something Kelly Stafford p the dog in this conversation may
have had. Right then, Matthew is really upside there, Cobar, Well, Kelly,
you're welcome. Matthew's not going to have to move on
from Cooper. She's gonna have to get the hell out
(09:30):
of La.
Speaker 3 (09:31):
She also said that she loves an adventure.
Speaker 2 (09:34):
She loves an adventure, that those two maybe a package deal.
They may be both going to the same place, Cabar
and Matthew and the dog, because somebody needs to be
a dog in this situation. Imagine you're the New York
Giants that you've been dragged through the mud for the
(09:54):
last twelve months, losing Saquon Barkley to the Eagles at all,
being captured on camera for hard knocks. It's a mess.
You've got a coach in a GM that nobody thought
were coming back, but they were brought back, and you
tell your owner, hey, we were humiliated last year. We're
a punching bag, a laughing stock. But we've got the
pieces we just missed on quarterback. We've got the left tackle,
(10:15):
the wide receiver in neighbors, the defensive front with Lawrence
and Brian Burns. If we get quarterback right, we are
in the thick of it, So if you will allow
us to drop in Matthew Stafford and Cooper cup Cup
a perfect compliment to Maleak Neighbors. The big arm of
Stafford throwing to a superstar wide receiver in Neighbors that
(10:36):
had twelve hundred yards and seven touchdowns with Tommy Cutlet's
Drew Locke and Daniel Jones throwing the ball, and I
think Daniel Jones didn't throw a touchdown for like eight weeks.
They've got a shot to draft Travis Hunter with the
third pick. If it all breaks right, you get an
elite player there, no matter what. It's a lot of
giants talking on me to do that, but it lines up.
(10:58):
They send their two, the thirty fourth over, which is
essentially a first rounder. They're four, maybe next year's two.
They take on all of Cooper Cups money. And the
one interesting thing could be somebody, you know, well caveon
Thibodeaux that they don't want to pick up that fifty
year option.
Speaker 3 (11:15):
It cost a lot radio out of New York people
like you about it.
Speaker 2 (11:19):
That they're like, okay, you know what, we'll take on
Cups money. We'll send you Thibodeau. They already traded for
Brian Burns. They're good there on the defensive line. You
take on the former top five pick, put them opposite verse,
and maybe they can figure something out in Los Angeles
and unlock what has failed to unlock save the one
season two years ago for Thibodeau. It it lines up,
(11:39):
I mean it it lines up. But man, you move
on from a future potential Hall of Fame quarterback and
he goes on to have another three or four years
of solid to really like super production, and then you
with on that position. Uh. I'm not saying it's you
know that that they would fire Sean McVay or Lesnia's
not what I'm saying, but man, and that's a mess
(12:00):
if you think you've got this all figured out, when
you had the quarterback solved, and you decide to move
on from them. I don't know how it got to
be this bad, but it sounds like that's going to
be the case that, unless I don't know, something gets
figured out these next couple of days, that that could
end up being.
Speaker 3 (12:17):
The way to not just saber rattling, Matt, not.
Speaker 2 (12:20):
Just saber rattling, not just oh, we'll go out there
and sniffer on, you're not worth fifty five million. It
seems like Jimmy Sexton or not?
Speaker 3 (12:27):
Is that? Yeah?
Speaker 2 (12:27):
I think Sexton is his agent that they're like, yeah,
we found it, so do you want to pay us
or how you want to do this now? Because we
did find the fifty million bucks and all of these
teams are willing to give it to and that really
kind of threw a wrench into their plans. And now
it looks like maybe, in fact, that's the way this
is going to shake out quickly, because I think you'll
appreciate this on the Chargers do it a bunch of
(12:48):
did a bunch of stuff today with them. Talk to
the GM the assistant GM DJ for a while. But
the more interesting thing I think is the the potential.
And I don't know if this is a possibility or not,
but I talked to two people, one a former Scout
not DJ, and another a current Scout, and unsolicited, they
(13:10):
both offered up and this is not a name that
ever gets thrown around, but they both offered up the
same name. And I know it's some guy, you know,
it's somebody that you've been on for for years now.
Speaker 3 (13:21):
But if you see him by everybody, man, I'm on it.
Speaker 2 (13:24):
You see a slide from Ashton Genty for whatever reason
in a deep running back draft, he makes it into
the teams. I would not be surprised to see the
Chargers make a serious run at trading up to get
ahead of Cincinnati at seventeen, Denver at twenty, Pittsburgh at
twenty one. I talked to those two different people today,
won a current scout former scout. They both offered up
Ladanian Tomlinson that that's what they see. That that that's
(13:49):
the level of player, complete back, able to do it
without an offensive line in front of him. That's what
we're talking about.
Speaker 3 (13:58):
Yeah, and I I mean I knew Ladanian Thomas that
we played against him for God's sights. I mean I
knew him in college, but I didn't know him in
college like I know Genty, So I don't know how
great of a receiver he was, right, but h but
maybe Genty's not there yet as far as catching the ball,
(14:19):
which doesn't mean he can not develop that at the
next level, but he's not the receiver right now that
that Ladanian was catching ever right, And and Marshall Falk
too is kind of in that realm, you know, And
I don't know if he has that yet or maybe
he just hasn't been really asked to do it. I've
(14:40):
seen him catch the ball, but it's certainly not like
something that blows your head off when other than that,
I mean, he's an unbelievable star. The only thing I'm
worried about is that they killed him. I mean, Boise
State never had a better football season and all their
storied history than they did last year, and a lot
of that was on his back, and I think he
(15:02):
wanted it. He was definitely hurt as the season went on.
His arm was really bad from the middle toward the
end of the season all the way through the playoffs,
and he still performed at a really high level. I'm
worried that they that they may have ridden him into
the ground.
Speaker 2 (15:18):
Sadly, that's the same knock on Amari and Hampton at
North Carolina like.
Speaker 3 (15:22):
That and every Alabama backing since right, you know, mark
ingram So, I mean, it's not the first time that's
ever happened. But man, did he get his ass kicked
and was just a hero for the Broncos and delivered
to them their most exciting football season. Ever, I hope
he has a great pro career. I really do.
Speaker 2 (15:38):
I heard someone had mentioned an interesting theory today about
you know, why, oh, don't draft the back in the
first round. They said, no, that's not this is this
is the way that I view it, and it is
not the way I view it. This is what they
said to me is it's you absolutely draft a back
if you're ready to win, because you want those six years.
(15:58):
You get the five plus a franchise tag, which is
never that expensive for a running back. You get six
years of prime, you know, basically your prime that running
backs prime is going to be really so go get.
Speaker 3 (16:12):
It with Jenty. You know, it's like his in high school.
He didn't start at running back until like his senior year.
He was like a slot guy or something because he
was really small, and that at Boise inexplicably for a
couple of years they had him playing behind a Saint
John Bosco guy named George Hallane and splitting carries until
he just, i mean destroyed everybody and proved to be
(16:35):
the finest back in the country. Probably so he doesn't
have the but last year they they put some mile
was like the Blues Brothers Chase, they put some miles up.
Speaker 2 (16:43):
Oh wow, that cars beat down.
Speaker 3 (16:47):
I was, by bore witness to a few of the games.
Speaker 2 (16:49):
Man, Well may it all work out. Good luck to
I believe mel Kiper has him projected to go to
the Raiders at six. And that sort of is the
Saquon Barkley comparison that I heard earlier, Like, Hey, the
Giants drafted saque at four when they weren't a competitive team,
and they basically wasted six years of twelve hundred yards
and eight touchdowns for a six to seven win team.
(17:10):
And look what happens when he goes to a team
that's ready to win, has the line, has the defense,
He runs for two thousand yards, and they win the
Super Bowl. They're like, that's kind of what we're talking
about here. It's drop them into a team that's ready
to win, and your running backs are going to produce
and absolutely be worth a first round pick.
Speaker 3 (17:28):
Well, there's your beginning of combine talk.
Speaker 2 (17:31):
How about that? Pretty great night, right, Yeah.
Speaker 3 (17:33):
For the rest of the week, every damn night.
Speaker 4 (17:36):
Boo.
Speaker 3 (17:37):
Yes, great sports talk that's coming your way. Coming up next,
the Little Respite will have some Bachelor. The Bachelor Report

Speaker 3 (18:48):
All right, Matt, we are here at the moment that
everybody has probably overlooked because of everything going on around town.
But it is time for the Bachelor.
Speaker 4 (19:00):
Lose yourself in the Bachelor.
Speaker 3 (19:03):
Report And sadly, Matt, we are slogging through a new
season of The Bachelor which is almost over, and the
franchise itself is dying. Dying, Yes, the franchise is almost
over to Yeah, it's not. Kind of like the end
of the PAC twelve. And like the end of the
PAC twelve, I will ride it until it collapses, an exhausted,
(19:24):
pathetic heap of what used to be animated flesh and
bone and sinew. Anyway, Grant has got hometown dates next week, Matt.
And that means we got to whittle it down NC
double A tournament style to a final four, and the
NC DOUBLEA tournament gets it done faster and more efficiently.
(19:48):
But this is what we have and money. They go
to Edinburgh. So this is Scottish news. Hi, Yeah we
bare By. It's Coltish news. You bums it the wind news.
It's is Coltish. What's your wish? Hi? Do you have
an understand the word that I'm saying? Got yoursel? I?
You own with the Coltish News. So, Matt, I don't know.
(20:10):
You've got a lot going on. You've been traveling around
a lot. Do you remember any of the premise of
what's going on anything?
Speaker 2 (20:17):
I remember, yeah, I remember the guy thinks he can
sing grant.
Speaker 3 (20:20):
All right, Well yeah, gosh, I hope you remember that
we sang the song we.
Speaker 2 (20:25):
Have a Puerto Rican this, yeah, Orange County. Yes, Caroline,
there you go.
Speaker 3 (20:31):
That's what you don't have to go any further, Okay,
because Caroline sucks, and that's what it's all about. Caroline
is very difficult and Mucha's drama. They go to Edinburgh,
he goes on a one on one date with Juliana,
which she has a nose ring, so you know, she's
(20:52):
kind of freaky, right, she get a little weird and
they dance in a castle with other paid dancers and
make it all old timey, except the orchestra is not
playing an old timey song like like Wagner or something
that the orchestra is playing the Proclaimers. Oh oh really yeah,
(21:12):
well you know there's Scottish but you know, I mean
he's somewhere between the Weekend and Wagner loves the Proclaimers,
and that's what they were playing. But once again, Matt,
as you said, the episode is about how much Caroline sucks,
and here she is arguing about time and space. You know,
(21:32):
she's upset that she's on another group date, and here
she is lamenting that fact.
Speaker 4 (21:37):
So you're not excited for it. It's tough.
Speaker 2 (21:39):
It's tough.
Speaker 4 (21:40):
And again, this process isn't about being fair.
Speaker 5 (21:42):
It's about him finding connections and us finding connections. But
it is tough to spark a connection that you kind
of want to see progress, and it's kind of like
all these people catch up to that and then surpass
that and surpass the amount of time that you got.
Speaker 6 (21:55):
But it's not exactly about the amount of time that
you get. It's about the quality of the time that
you have a.
Speaker 5 (22:01):
Certain amount of time to have certain conversations.
Speaker 6 (22:04):
In those moments, what is the quality of the conversations
you're having.
Speaker 5 (22:08):
It's frustrating because I feels like a lose lose situation,
Like no matter what I say, the girls just don't
appreciate or they missing through.
Speaker 6 (22:17):
Time is a great equality means a lot more.
Speaker 4 (22:19):
Yeah, I do have feelings.
Speaker 5 (22:21):
For Grant, but having to be on a group date
after having established a strong connection is tough.
Speaker 4 (22:26):
I think I just need to get through tomorrow. I
want to be optimistic, but definitely feels like I'm walking
on nextshells.
Speaker 3 (22:35):
Walking on broken glass. More like.
Speaker 2 (22:38):
Doop doop doop doop doop doop doo doop doop.
Speaker 3 (22:44):
So they have the group date Matt and it's a
Scottish games you know, where they throw a pole or
everybody wears plaid and there's hagis uh and Carolene does
not take it well. She does not want to dance
or throw the pole or do whatever. Instead, she does
(23:07):
what she does best. She pounts and he has to
pull her aside. Man, she sucks. I mean, if you
can't realize how much is chick's she how much she's
gonna suck in real life when you're at your mom's
party and she pulls you aside and says, somebody said
something to me and I'm offending and I want.
Speaker 2 (23:23):
You to do something.
Speaker 3 (23:24):
But you know what I'm saying, right, that's the type
of chick.
Speaker 2 (23:26):
This is beat it chick.
Speaker 3 (23:29):
Here she is. He's trying to coax her back into
the party. You know how the dog has the keys
in its mouth and the pirates of the Caribbean and
all the pirates are at jail and they're trying to
get the dog to come their way with the keys,
but you can tell the dog's not budging, and mostly
because the dog's animatronic and he's never moved, and those
guys have never left the jail. I'm just explaining the
(23:50):
Pirates of the Caribbean at this but the point of.
Speaker 2 (23:51):
Going right by the way, folks. Not the film.
Speaker 3 (23:53):
He's trying to coax her. No, not the Tale of
Captain Jack Sparrow, a pirate so brave on the Seventh Seas,
on a mist on a mystical quest to the Eyelet.
They're trying to try to coax her back into the
party so she can be with the other ladies enjoying
Scottish culture. But she's a very difficult personality.
Speaker 5 (24:12):
I feel like you just have stronger connections and it's
hard for me to be here.
Speaker 4 (24:18):
Feeling like it's so obvious that it's not me.
Speaker 3 (24:23):
But you were like one of my strongest connections here.
Speaker 6 (24:26):
But then you know, things started happening where it's like
and I feel like a bit.
Speaker 4 (24:30):
Of damper to her right now.
Speaker 3 (24:31):
I don't even know.
Speaker 6 (24:32):
If you are feeling it like that, you know, I
don't know if you.
Speaker 3 (24:34):
Want to be here, and I don't know. I don't
know now, I don't know what's real.
Speaker 2 (24:38):
Like I get that you get what I'm saying, and
I know that maybe you're somebody that wears your emotions
on your sleeve, but that's something with me.
Speaker 3 (24:44):
I'm just trying to figure out.
Speaker 1 (24:45):
And we have to try to get over it because hometown.
Speaker 3 (24:48):
Is next week.
Speaker 4 (24:49):
So what do you want to do?
Speaker 3 (24:51):
So what do you want to do? What do you
want to do? Stop? Shut out, just stop powder.
Speaker 1 (24:55):
Sometimes it's better to let go than to hold on
to something that's not But you have tell me how
you feel, so.
Speaker 4 (25:00):
I could work around I know, but I just I'm
so tired of go in circle.
Speaker 5 (25:03):
I feel like you already know what you want and
that's fine, and.
Speaker 3 (25:08):
I just want to like, I.
Speaker 2 (25:14):
Just want like accept accept it for what it is.
Speaker 3 (25:17):
It doesn't feel like it's for me, and I just
want to like self implosure.
Speaker 4 (25:22):
It feels pointless.
Speaker 3 (25:24):
Yes, you've made it pointless because you can't get out
of your own way. You said laosa Puerto rican and
then Dina the lawyer and gets into it with the
mala Puerto Ricana. Kenny.
Speaker 6 (25:41):
I'm wondering if you're going to go pull him all
if you want to be in a house where the
women respect you respect me, So clearly, no, if you're
going to stay on the couch and say it was
not my doing and he pulled me, and.
Speaker 4 (25:54):
Now you're going to go, try to let me ask
you this scene. Clearly, let me ask you this what
if he pulled you? Would you have been Actually Curly
needs more to no.
Speaker 6 (26:01):
No, I would say absolutely, you know I would cut
the conversation like, go, yes, I would. I'm sorry, like
I have a sauce spot for you or I had
a soft.
Speaker 3 (26:11):
Star for you.
Speaker 6 (26:11):
But moving forward, it's like you don't care about anybody
else's feelings, but you're all okay.
Speaker 5 (26:18):
Has anyone ever in The Bachelor said, actually, I know
I want to talk to me, but go talk to
someone else.
Speaker 6 (26:25):
You act like you don't care, and then they no
matter what I do, but no matter what. We get
to a group date and then you're like, I'm taking
grant and I but I did not him, But oh
my god, he grabbed you.
Speaker 4 (26:37):
You grabbed him, doesn't matter.
Speaker 5 (26:38):
It does if you don't care I talk in the group,
it's a problem.
Speaker 4 (26:41):
I don't talk in the group. It's a problem, have
a bad attitude.
Speaker 3 (26:44):
It's a problem.
Speaker 4 (26:45):
I'm happy, it's also a problem. Pretty bad arguments for
a lawyer. I will say, you don't care, I have
to go.
Speaker 6 (26:53):
Are you gonna talk to Grant? Because that would be crazy?
Speaker 4 (26:56):
I guess I'm crazy and evil?
Speaker 2 (27:03):
Good stinger on the out there.
Speaker 3 (27:07):
Give her statehood. Wow.
Speaker 2 (27:10):
I like the chewing of the eyes. It's very like
disrespectful you see movie villain, very disrespectful.
Speaker 3 (27:17):
And then the crazy and Evil song, Crazier Evil. We'll
give you the song part two, Kates, are you.
Speaker 6 (27:32):
Gonna talk to because that would be crazy?
Speaker 4 (27:35):
I guess I'm crazy and evil?
Speaker 3 (27:39):
God of Mercy. I mean, that's the most exciting moment
they have. That's the that's the most exciting moment they
have all season. This season absolutely blows, but so does
the show.
Speaker 2 (27:54):
Did she have crazy eyes when she said crazy and evil?
Speaker 3 (27:57):
She's kind of walking up the stairs.
Speaker 4 (27:59):
That's I guess I'm crazy ego.
Speaker 3 (28:05):
And she's got like the air ariana grande ribcage middle
rib cage thing going, you know, And it's like, why
you wear a shirt that accentuates that? Why don't want
to see your ribs? It's not like I met the
Pirates of the Caribbean. Check out, there's a one on
one date with the Mormon long faceted Latilla. Not only
(28:27):
is she Mormon, but she's long faced and uh. In
the end, Matt, this guy's just too pragmatic. He gets
rid of Caroline. Caroline makes up with Dina, who ratted
her out to Grant, but still makes up with her,
and she still gets bounced the old early connection fizzle
out story, Matt. You get that early connection with the
(28:50):
contestant and then you're you're on the highway to hell.
Speaker 2 (28:55):
And I was thinking the opposite, like it's like being
a first round draft pick and you keep getting opportunity.
Speaker 3 (29:00):
Sometimes that happens, but sometimes, you know, you get the
early connection, and then because you feel like you have
an early connection, you get so jealous when everybody else
is connection starts happening, and you self implode, like Caleb Williams.
Speaker 2 (29:13):
Oh, yeah, well, she'll start painting her nails and.
Speaker 3 (29:15):
Clears Wow, I'm sure she already does. She sent home
the Lama check, which kind of made me sad to
go home with her. There was even no mention of
the Lama. And then Sarah Fina, who was a nice woman,
seemed to be nice, got sent home, and then the
Puerto Ricana here she is lamenting her ousting.
Speaker 4 (29:40):
I wish your best. I feel blindsided.
Speaker 5 (29:52):
I don't know if all the hadn't happened, if I
would be here or not. I didn't expect to feel
so good about the connections with him right before being
sent home.
Speaker 4 (30:10):
That frees my heart. But I think I've learned that
I'm more resilient than I ever realized.
Speaker 3 (30:19):
You mean, you exploded, And now I.
Speaker 4 (30:22):
Really hope that there's someone that sees like a value
in me.
Speaker 3 (30:28):
Don't cry for me, Puerto Rico. The truth is I'm
from Orange Counties.
Speaker 2 (30:35):
Certainly what it sounds like through all.
Speaker 3 (30:37):
My hard times, my mad existence. I kept my promise.
She was a terrible contestant, and she ended up crashing
herself into a mountain. Oh at least we got a
good soundbut out of it, oh wait, we got plenty.
I guess I'm crazy and either.
Speaker 4 (31:00):
I'm crazy and evil.
Speaker 3 (31:08):
That's how I felt this morning when mc cronin said
he couldn't join us. Not cool, that's crazy and evil.
Speaker 4 (31:14):
I guess I'm crazy and evil, all right?
Speaker 3 (31:20):
We'll be back with more great sports talk right here
on AM five seventy LA Sports. We got a whole
other hour plus before we get to Brewing Insider speaking
of mc cronin big Win yesterday on AM five seventy
LA Sports, your home of the Dodgers, Dodgers, Mariners today.
You know the Dodgers aren't so hot in spring training.
But who cares? Right, I'm working on stuff. How much
do we care? How much do we care?
Speaker 7 (31:42):
Man?
Speaker 3 (31:42):
It's mine.
Speaker 2 (31:51):
Petro some money AM five seventy LA Sports Live everywhere
on the iHeartRadio app. Remember an opportunity for you to
win a pair of tickets to the iHeartRadio album release
party with the Lumineers. It's happening tomorrow at the iHeartRadio
Theater right here in Burbanks. So if you can make
it up and you like the Lumineers, keep listening here
to Petros and money is we'll give away a pair
(32:12):

Speaker 3 (32:14):
All right, Matt, we still have a whole other hour

let's get forward. On this Tuesday night, It's late in
Indianapolis where Matt is, so it is time for some
secret textosos.
Speaker 4 (32:46):
Secrets fine brought to you by your so Cal Toyota dealers.
Speaker 3 (32:51):
We make it easy. Every time I see sham Sharania
on TV, I hear Petro singing sharoon balloon the back
of my head. In fact, Matt, much like jovon Boja
you know where I say booha, and he made me
record that for his Bouja podcast. I'd be happy to
(33:12):
sing Sharon balloon, charoun balloon, Challa la la la La
La la la la charoun balloon every time he comes
on with his propaganda on ESPN. What do you say?
Speaker 2 (33:27):
I feel like he always had an issue with your
sharoon balloon and Tim Kates would always cringe when he
would punch him up in the other studio. And I
think Tim Kates blames you, not ESPN. In the Evil
four Letter when they signed, somebody shut him down to
only appear on ESPN properties. I believe he blames you
(33:47):
for the distressed relationship that Kate's had cultivated and went
the crap.
Speaker 3 (33:52):
I'm not the one arun balloon that asked him where
he lived and we found out he still lived with
his parents. I believe that it was you that popped
the sharoon balloon in that regard. Am I wrong?
Speaker 2 (34:06):
Well, now, wait a minute.
Speaker 3 (34:08):
Asked him where he lived and I said, I live
with my parents, and we laugh had a hard time
suppressing our laughter. Should have cut my mic.
Speaker 2 (34:17):
We addressed it for about three minutes with him living
with his folks. I think you were the one that
asked him, like, so do you bring like like a
girl back to your like your house? And you're like,
hey mom, I was like, I think you were the
one that asked that question.
Speaker 3 (34:31):
Oh, you putting it on me? Then a little bit.
Speaker 2 (34:34):
Shows, I'll see how you have baseball?
Speaker 3 (34:41):
Everybody? Hey, pee tell Kate's the Don Kucko's mentioned in
Cobra kai Is season six, episode twelve, and right afterwards
they play Queen's Reich's Silent lucidity. Yeah nice, Yeah, they
mentioned Don Kucko's in Cobra kai Like, Hey, We're gonna
(35:04):
celebrate to Don Kucko's and Kate's like went back and
acted like he went back and he acted like he
he couldn't find it, and he's.
Speaker 8 (35:13):
Wrong, he couldn't find I didn't act like it. I
went through two different episodes where you just mentioned a
hospital scene I think is what the textos or said,
and I didn't hear any reference to Don Kungo's.
Speaker 2 (35:25):
I'll go back and look again, though, we look for
the Queen's Rech episode.
Speaker 3 (35:28):
Man, you just heard it right here.
Speaker 8 (35:30):
Queen's Reich episode.
Speaker 2 (35:31):
Okay, yeah, smiling next to you in silent lucidity one
of the worst karaoke songs ever seen it live twice.
Speaker 3 (35:40):
Why don't you keep going, Matt?
Speaker 2 (35:42):
I don't think I can. I think that's all I got.
Huh Shnow, don't you guy? That's all I got?
Speaker 3 (35:47):
What is gone me Yukes? And why does money say it? Now?
I wrote, and I wrote back ask him and the
guy wrote, he blocked my number?
Speaker 2 (36:00):
Was that Isabelle?
Speaker 3 (36:01):
No?
Speaker 2 (36:02):
I don't think I blocked his number. I do get
quite a bit of that. Now. What is gong me Yuke's?
And it is our deer, It's it's it's a tip
of the cap to our dear friend Vic.
Speaker 3 (36:12):
Is it a tip of the cap, Matt, yes? Or
is it a wave of the hand under the chin.
Speaker 2 (36:18):
It is a tip of the cap to our dear friend.
Speaker 3 (36:21):
Well, Fi's doing a podcast right now, which we asked
him not to because we want him to lay low,
so you know, we can find a way to have him,
you know, come back back on from time to time.
But oh no, yeah, well we knew that you should
lay low. But anyway, h Vic is doing a podcast now,
and randomly, after he says something on his podcast, he says,
gong me yukes and then.
Speaker 2 (36:42):
She hits the gong.
Speaker 8 (36:43):
Right, it's his wife, you go right, it sounds like
a gong though off her phone, like it doesn't sound
like No, that's a real gong right there, Petros, Well, yeah,
that's not a gong.
Speaker 2 (36:52):
Remember they gave him a gong. Gong's unlimited still here?
Oh his gong is still here. I don't know, No, no,
he goes, no, no.
Speaker 3 (36:59):
He sent yeah, because somebody texted me the other day
like why don't you give get Vic his gong back?
And I was like, cause it's not his gong. No,
because Matt went to the map the Lincoln, Nebraska with
Gongs unlimited to get all of his gongs.
Speaker 2 (37:14):
Ahole, I think, uh, I think Union guy paid for him.
I believe guy paid for the gongs, got one for Vic,
got one for us.
Speaker 3 (37:24):
As he could. Really, has the Union guy gotten any
return on his investment in this show? No? Right, No?
And he's walking around like he does, and I'm like,
you're not. This isn't working the way you think it is.
Like we're barely clawing, clawing our way totally a matter
of time until it blows up. Yeah, and attain great way,
(37:44):
in a great way. It's gonna blow up in a
great way. And you know what, We're still giving away
Luminears tickets. Stay tuned. We still haven't. We haven't given
him away this hour. Keep listening. We got a pair.
We got a big pair right between our legs. The
iHeartRadio album release party with the Lumineers tomorrow at the
iHeart Theater here in Burbank. We're gonna give away a
pair of tickets for those in the very for that
(38:05):
