good looking man, and Thurrough part of the brain trust

Golmes' fingerprints are all over those just like all over

The intros never never seemed to amaze me, so I
appreciate I.

Speaker 2 (02:14):
Try my best.

Speaker 3 (02:15):
You know it's not a real job, so you know,
it's not hard to look at Wikipedia.

Speaker 4 (02:20):
Did you drink some narrogainst it in a basement like a.

Speaker 2 (02:23):
School over the border?

Speaker 5 (02:25):
Yeah, I don't know if I could affordinate against it.

Speaker 4 (02:27):
Oh wow, is that right?

Speaker 3 (02:29):
More of a natty like time. That's all right, goach.
We understand your your humble upbringing. Now overall, Uh, you
know you're sitting here. It's not even June, and I
mean it's like the team is unrecognizable from the one
you built. I mean, Matt and I were talking to
Brett Boone before the year started.

Speaker 2 (02:48):
He got a job since then, and he's like, this
is the greatest team I've ever seen.

Speaker 3 (02:52):
You know, and three hundred people wat thousand people watched
it on the Instagram And now you look at the
team and it changes so drastic. Man, it's a hard
job that you guys have. How do you anticipate all
these twists and.

Speaker 6 (03:04):
Turn I mean, fortunately, unfortunately we've kind of been here
in the past, and it's the whole point of doing
your best to build depth and we're even testing that,
uh that depth.

Speaker 5 (03:15):
At this point.

Speaker 6 (03:15):
But you know, obviously still a very talented team in
first place, and I think at this point it's like, hey,
let's let's put together quality baseball games. Uh, you know,
play fundamental baseball and keep our heads above water here
and and stack up some wins while we're waiting to
get healthy.

Speaker 4 (03:33):
Talk to us about ice on Kim and kind of
because obviously he starts the season at okay. See, so
it felt like maybe just kind of your thoughts of
when you signed him, what your vision was, and kind
of how maybe that's changed now.

Speaker 6 (03:44):
Yeah, I think you know, the defense, the speed, he's
a dynamic player. He was obviously he performed well in
the KBO. There's some bat to ball there. We we
knew coming in that we were there were some swing
things we wanted to address, which we did in spring
training and did something okay, and he's he's taken to
them great.

Speaker 5 (04:01):
Like the work ethic is unbelievable.

Speaker 6 (04:04):
And I think he's the most likable person I've ever
been around in my life.

Speaker 7 (04:08):
I don't.

Speaker 5 (04:08):
He just has this energy about him. He's like he's clapping.

Speaker 6 (04:12):
For Yama in between strikes last night.

Speaker 5 (04:14):
Enough you guys saw that, Like it's amazing.

Speaker 6 (04:17):
So he's he's been fun to watch, I think, bringing
like real energy to the club, and you know, I
do think for as well as he's played, there's another
level in there for for him to keep going and offensively,
I think it's only going to get better.

Speaker 4 (04:30):
And then like Walkers, I don't know if I'm sure
it's different for every player, but when it's the right time,
like when you're like, you know what, he's ready, it's
it's you know, Dalton Rocket, he's ready, or Pie's like
do some of them cook a little bit longer? And
you're like, Probaly could have brought him up a month
or six months ago, Like how do you decide how?

Speaker 6 (04:46):
I think each it's you know, depending on team need
and kind of looking at what's left as far as
like finishing school in Triple A and RPD group does
an amazing job. I'm not sure how close you can
get to the end zone is a ten yard line?
Five yard line? We do it an amazing job. At
some point you just have to get up and experience
it and get the extra deck and like understand how

(05:09):
fast the game is.

Speaker 5 (05:11):
So for each guy it's different.

Speaker 6 (05:13):
And for for Hay Soong, it was like, Okay, this
is gonna be a good piece. We know defensively, he
can move around and add some real speed to us,
and like, let's give him that taste. He's kind of
taken to everything we've asked him to do. Uh and
for rush, like he's just performed over and over and
over again, and it was like, Okay, let's see what
it looks like against big league pitching. You know how

(05:34):
he handles a major league staff, those things like, it's
just not something.

Speaker 5 (05:37):
That you can teach in triple A.

Speaker 6 (05:40):
So it's individual to each guy, and you know, we're
just making our bet on each one when the time
is to do it.

Speaker 3 (05:46):
Dodger GM Brandon Gomes joining us on the Petros and
Money Show. If you want me to score a touchdown,
he's got to be the sitch line fish. No, well
oh yeah, but we gotta get up there. Okay, I'll
push you and I'm not gonna be able to take
the snap. You know, you mentioned bringing up those young guys,
but there's a flip side to that coin, and it's

(06:06):
saying goodbye to guys that you guys were very familiar with,
that you trusted very much.

Speaker 2 (06:12):
Not an easy thing to do.

Speaker 3 (06:13):
These are not numbers, these are people, and you've known
them a long time. How much does that change and
how much you have to think about how much it
changes that the dynamic of the clubhouse when you do
say goodbyes to guy like Barnes and Taylor.

Speaker 6 (06:27):
Of course, both of those guys such a massive part
of our success over the years and huge moments all
over the place and never an easy conversation. Both of
them were total pros as expected. And yeah, there's a
lot of a lot of thought that goes into it,
like how does this affect multiple layers, whether it's the
clubhouse or what are we There's just a known commodity.

(06:50):
You know, you know what you're going to get, so
you know, all of those things are baked in. And look,
I think it came to a point where it was
like Rush was like knocking down the door, and you know,
we felt like it was time to go ahead and
inject some energy and the younger group there and give
him a chance. And with CT like it was hard.
He just wasn't playing that much, and I think getting

(07:13):
an opportunity to go out and get some more regular
reps may just be the best thing for him. But
wish those guys nothing but the best. Huge parts of
what we've done, and you know, we'll be forever grateful
to them.

Speaker 3 (07:23):
You know, it's so interesting because there's so many analytics
and numbers that go into modern baseball. You don't need
us to explain that to you. But so much of
it is a human factor as well. And those guys
were you know, their presence was part of a human factor.
I mean, I'm not asking you for a percentage or
how to balance it out, but you know how difficult

(07:44):
is it to balance out those two things?

Speaker 2 (07:46):
And every day it must be different.

Speaker 5 (07:49):
Yeah, I think it's it's really challenging.

Speaker 6 (07:51):
You know, we spend a lot of time with the
team and are in the clubhouse a lot, and I
do think that there's a ton of benefits to that.

Speaker 5 (07:59):
Now you develop a relationships with the players, and that's
a good thing.

Speaker 6 (08:03):
When you have to then make a difficult decision, it
makes that more challenging and you have to try to
sift through what is you know, an emotional decision, what
is the right thing.

Speaker 5 (08:11):
For the organization.

Speaker 6 (08:13):
But you know, I think we we do as good
of a job as we can of balancing it all.
And look, there's no perfect answers to anything, but we
we certainly try to do our best.

Speaker 4 (08:22):
Brandon GM's with US Dodgers general manager Dodgers Diamondbacks coming
up just after seven. Uh I I have issues, but
you know, I'll just put that human. I'll set this
up by I hate the box on the screen because
if it's not gonna be automatic balls and strikes, I
don't want to be able to call automatic balls and

(08:43):
strikes and see them miss it. It's not fair to
the you're gonna get my Other thing that I don't
like is I hate seeing the pitch count on the
screen because it's created this fan experience where you're like, oh, no,
what are they gonna do? If you have a motive gets
out of seventh, then he's at one hundred and four pitches?
Are they going to actually send it back up there?

Speaker 6 (09:00):
In?

Speaker 4 (09:00):
His arm might fall off if that happens.

Speaker 2 (09:01):
Like, can you kind of what a me?

Speaker 4 (09:04):
Not just the people that are listening, but someone like
me that's like, what what would you do? What is
that number? How concerned should we be about that number?
Can you just adjust it on the back end? If
this guy's throwing a no ititter and he said one
hundred and thirty, one hundred and forty pitches and you're
gonna let him go chasing?

Speaker 5 (09:18):
Yeah, I mean I don't.

Speaker 6 (09:20):
We clearly don't have the answer on that, And I
think we're just talking to Doc about it some and
look for Yama in particular, like he's pitched like deep
into games with us, certainly, and you know the MTB
like logging real pitch counts, you now the balance of
the short of rest, the travel, like you bake those
things in. But I think the best thing that we

(09:42):
can do is like, what's the stuff in execution looking
like how does that go into like if it's starting
to back up, if the guys are taking better swings.
I mean that's why Doc's job is so hard, Like
you've got to read all of that in real time,
and it's very easy after the fact to say, yeah,
that was the right move. If we could go do that,
then we would just do the other thing right, right.

(10:02):
So I think so much of it is just reading
the game, reading the swings, what does this stuff look like,
and adjust off of that, and then everything else is
just a risk, Like we don't know what is one
ten versus one twenty verse one thirty.

Speaker 5 (10:14):
I don't know.

Speaker 6 (10:15):
We don't do it a whole lot, but it is
it is a challenge, and it is not something that
I envy when when we're looking at that and Doc
has to make those decisions.

Speaker 4 (10:24):
And I would imagine that this is more if this
question would be more of a full you and Andrew
and Doc and everybody situation. What about five versus six?
With Yama mood it went a good way? And like,
how how you guys have approached that because we saw
what last year was and then we've seen him now
on some five days of rest this year, how do
you guys decide, you know, how you're gonna approach that

(10:45):
with him?

Speaker 6 (10:46):
Yeah, I mean I think for for Yama, he's uh,
he's you know, always been open to whatever we've asked.

Speaker 5 (10:53):
And a lot of it is.

Speaker 6 (10:55):
How much do we want to push the limits that
we already have gone down from the six to five?

Speaker 5 (10:59):
And he's handled that well.

Speaker 6 (11:01):
He takes care of himself, you know, incredibly well in
between out and so it's something we'll keep evaluating as
we go. Earlier in the season, when Roki was in there,
you know, he had never even done he hadn't done
six days that much. She'd never done five in his life,
So there was you know, some of that factoring into
getting the additional days plus off days built in. So

(11:22):
we'll continue to look at the schedule and how it
works out, when to plug guys in, when not to win,
to run guys on four day's rest, and look, at
some point show A will be back out there pitching.

Speaker 5 (11:33):
And it's not we can do whatever we want because
it's that free pitcher spot.

Speaker 6 (11:38):
So I like thinking about that world at some point
soon when that is like obviously depends on how show
for me soon, Yeah, how he continues to feel and
build up.

Speaker 5 (11:48):
But you know for the Yama question, like I know
he's open to whatever.

Speaker 6 (11:52):
But we'll just continue to monitor and some of it's
just mitigating downside to.

Speaker 3 (11:56):
I'm behind you now, like the fano of the operaing
Brandon is our guest. Fall River, Massachusetts. I've been going
through the photos of Fall River. Beautiful place, the best
battlefield park or our battleship park there just gorgeous. That
church looks like a wonderful American place to grow up.
But you just mentioned Shoe al Tani. You know, it's
like having a Ferrari and the garage, you know, with

(12:19):
the cover on it, and you've got to go warm
that engine up. How I mean, how tempting is it
to go into the garage at three in the morning
and just pull the cover off and just drive it
out around the neighborhood and speed everywhere. You know, how
long of a process are we looking at here going?

Speaker 6 (12:35):
I mean, I think it's you know, he threw a
pen today. He looks really good, and we'll look at
Saturday to see what we want to do. He's been
doing updown pens, which has been good to start to
build the pitch count, and then you know, at some
point here in the near future, we'll look to having
him face hitters and that's what we'll have for his
build up. We're not going to send him out on
a rehab and a lot of it's going to be

(12:55):
based on how he's feeling and looking, and I think,
you know, continue to maintain a bigger picture outlook on
this is is smart because you know, having that type
of talent and rushing it back and you know, risking
the hitter as well, Like we've just never done this
and so this is a unique scenario.

Speaker 5 (13:16):
I don't even know how he does it.

Speaker 6 (13:17):
In general, to throw a pen and then come out
and do what he does. So it amazes me every day,
like that the Arizona game last week where he hits
the homer in the ninth and then I'm watching him
throw a pen the next day like this is this
is like never served and again ye adds episode.

Speaker 4 (13:34):
So just because you called him Yama, I'm gonna be
the cool guy. Yeah, I've said it multiple times and
I'm hoping you can maybe explain it because I can't.

Speaker 2 (13:45):
I don't know.

Speaker 4 (13:45):
I just I love watching that guy pick. Well, how
would you describe it?

Speaker 5 (13:49):
What is?

Speaker 4 (13:49):
Because you know, there's certain pictures that I used to
love Greg Maddox was my favorite player ever to watch
the way that he would just pick apart the play.
What is it about Yama that he's so entertaining? I
can't get enough of it?

Speaker 6 (13:59):
Man, I mean I think it's eighty grade command. Right,
It's as good of command as I've ever seen. And
then you later on like plus stuff with it. So
you have so many ways to get through lineups. If
something's not working that day, it's like, okay, split's not there,
all right, Well we'll lean more heavy on the cutter
or work the curveball in more or you know, I'll

(14:21):
just move the fastball around the zone forcing two. It
is just so many different ways to navigate in that
bat that it is definitely like an intersection of like
the old school, like you know, touch field command type guys,
but layering on some like pretty high octane stuff.

Speaker 5 (14:37):
So yeah, he's he's one of my favorites to watch
as well.

Speaker 3 (14:40):
We love you, Gomes, have us and now look at
all these guys are starting to gather in the suites.
They're gonna start drinking they you know, it doesn't need
to be around. We appreciate you guys, thanks for doing.
It's always a pleasure, always a pleasure to you. And
I'll see you in Massachusetts. Back the Falls River, oh man,
it's good. It's a beautiful place. We'll buy some narrogantid
from we can afford it. Now, look at Domes. He's

(15:02):
got those Jordans on. Come on, take him up in
a pockey, have the time at the back e. Would
Gomes be considered a towny like, let's say, like I
was a local, like I went to Brown or something
and I ended up making out with Gomes, like you know,
as a chick would that or you know whatever, but uh,
would that make what I the next the next morning?

Speaker 4 (15:24):
The cutters like it was what were you like if.

Speaker 3 (15:27):
I woke up the next morning and my roommate was like,
you know, did you hook up with a guy in
my life? I know, but he could nod. Would I say?
Would it count if I was like, yeah, I made
out of this towny like Fall River guy, Falls River County.

Speaker 4 (15:41):
He's giving you maybe maybe like you.

Speaker 3 (15:44):
Know, that's my dream, Like it's never gonna have to
be a town forty seven. Yeah, but take out with
some chick and then the next morning she wakes up
in the dorm and they're like, God, really went bad
last time. That's the dark board guy from Pedro Dooves
is the best. We don't get townies out here, Matt.
That's the thing, you know, it's like the I mean,

(16:05):
where are you gonna get a towny five?

Speaker 2 (16:06):
Slow? You know, it just doesn't happen.

Speaker 4 (16:09):
Yeah, yeah, I guess maybe a little bit from Pismo.

Speaker 2 (16:13):
Yeah, they're just the same.

Speaker 4 (16:16):
Yeah, we'll be back.

Speaker 3 (16:17):
David vass is on his way there gonna be no.

Speaker 4 (16:21):
We were trying to get him out of here before
you came in.

Speaker 3 (16:24):
That's like a that's definitely that's like a Turkish boat
and a Greek boat going by each other at the
Panama Canal. Thank you, mister Gomes. We'll be back Brandon
Gomes on the Petrol Somebody show Dodger g M. David
Vassa will join us next. We are live from Dodger
Stadium on AM five seventy l A Sports. The suits
are filling up with rivelers and it's Zen and She

(16:46):
Sushi Knight like Jim Hersey, the owner of the Colts,
has passed away.

Speaker 2 (17:00):
That's said and his sleep. They say.

Speaker 3 (17:03):
Indiana is up on New York seven points in the
first quarter of the Eastern Conference Finals. Everybody in New
York's mailbox head flag is up.

Speaker 4 (17:15):
Receiving mail. Big thank you to Golds. Fantastic, what a day.
No mar came to the suite to our Iheartradiote La
Sports Suite. Everybody came to Gomes came to the suite.

Speaker 3 (17:27):
Ables here now one of our winners. Appreciate Abel. He's
a big fan. I don't believe him.

Speaker 4 (17:33):
I said, get after those meatball sliders, and he did it.

Speaker 2 (17:35):
He's with the hot dogs.

Speaker 4 (17:37):
Get after them hot dogs and.

Speaker 3 (17:38):
What about a beer order, Johnny, what are these people dry?
Like Matt Smith? It's a dry town. No beer, no liquor.

Speaker 4 (17:44):
I think you said it's on its way. Order has
been placed. David Bessey has brought to you by Service Titan.

Speaker 3 (18:03):
Me Berry joining us right now. Get the meatballs now
or they'll be gone. We got meatballs, we got rolls,
we got hot dogs. David Vassa is gonna get hit
in the temple with a roll before this is all.

Speaker 4 (18:13):
That's right, Remember that, Dave, when we used to throw
our dinner rolls at you.

Speaker 3 (18:16):
It's right, yeah, yeah, we'd spry enough to duck out
of the way.

Speaker 2 (18:21):
If it was Vietnam, you'd be dead.

Speaker 8 (18:24):
David Vassy, why don't you come out here get a
feel of the ballpark. I was out there just in
the air condition of the suite. Jesus, what's wrong? Your
pale skin can't take the heat. I have olive skinned
like you. I just don't go outside side for David Vasse.

Speaker 1 (18:38):
The Dodgers Inside, look at the Dodgers.

Speaker 2 (18:44):
This is the Vassie Report with David Vasse.

Speaker 3 (18:47):
Masse a little under the weather, bouncing back today in
twenty twenty five, and may David Massy knows it's a
long haul. The Dodgers home stand. Yamamoto spectacular last night.
He is our Dodger reporter. Did Yamamoto prove himself to
you last night?

Speaker 2 (19:03):
Dave?

Speaker 3 (19:04):
Are you gonna call him Yama from now on? Like golms? Oh?

Speaker 7 (19:07):
Yeah, I you know.

Speaker 8 (19:08):
I was saying this leading up to that start last night,
that this is what stoppers are made of. Yeah, this
is what cy Young Award winners are made of. Nights
like last night, when your team needs you the most,
when your bullpen needs you the most, and you're on
a season high four game losing streak, you get seven
scoreless sinnings and a no hitter halfway through that.

Speaker 7 (19:30):
I mean, all of a sudden, now.

Speaker 8 (19:32):
I feel like everybody's a believer in Yamamoto after a
night like last night.

Speaker 4 (19:36):
And when we go back to last year, Dave, you
got Game five against the Padres, you got Game two
in the World Series. This guy's got a real big
set of balls, doesn't he.

Speaker 8 (19:43):
Yeah he does, thanks to Key k Hernandez. Key k
Hernandez to training. Yeah he does small hands, but everything
else very big.

Speaker 4 (19:54):
I thought it was appropriate. I mean, you want to
stop her, You want a guy that's gonna go out
there and throw man and pitch.

Speaker 8 (19:58):
Yeah, after it, he showed a lot testicular fortitude in
that postseason run last year and last night as well.
And you know, it really does go back to the
conversation Kei k Hernandez had with Yamamoto after his disappointing
Game one performance in the NLDS against the Padres. After that,
Keik brought Yamamoto by themselves to have like a two

(20:22):
or three hour coffee meeting, and basically he told how
many coffees can you drink? I don't think there was
a lot of drinking going on. I think there was
a lot of listening from Yamamoto and a lot of
inspiring from Key k Hernandez. Because Andrew Freeman had said
he had never seen that type of leadership from Kik before.
I asked him what he was talking about, and he

(20:43):
specifically took me through that meeting with Yamamoto and.

Speaker 7 (20:46):
He basically said, throw everything out.

Speaker 8 (20:49):
The window, go out there and compete, don't be scared,
be the guy that you were in Japan. And after
that there's been no looking back from Yamamoto since.

Speaker 4 (20:58):
I was impressive last night, Dave, and it was against
the Diamondback team. It's pretty darn good. I know they
hit their slump. Kind of what do you think of them?
What's it like being with the Diamondbacks. It's the team
you see a bunch all season. You were just in Arizona,
got the split there. But what about kind of what
can you tell us about the Snakes.

Speaker 8 (21:13):
Well, they're the team that I feel like if the
Dodgers faced them in a best of five series, could
be a very scary matchup, a trap series for the
Dodgers like it was in twenty twenty three. And they
seem to play their best against the Dodgers. They've got
a lot of speed, their starting staff is really good,
but their bullpen, as you have seen, is not very good.

(21:34):
So if they don't get that in order, they're not
really going very far. But Gabrielle Moreno has three home
runs this year, all three against the Dodgers. So and tonight,
Corbyn Burns era at Dodgers Stadium over six. So that
would tell you the Dodgers got him right where they
want him.

Speaker 4 (21:52):
Maybe that's why they didn't sign him. I was all
bum they didn't sign him in the offseason. I guess
the guy's got an ERA over six here. You don't
want him on the time.

Speaker 7 (21:57):
Well, they got a guy named nel Zilla.

Speaker 4 (22:00):
Where is he?

Speaker 8 (22:00):
He's in the training room, I'm sure somewhere right now.
When you see it, you'll know when you see a.

Speaker 3 (22:05):
Mass see it when you see a dog, it's Will Smith.

Speaker 7 (22:08):
Bobblehead night.

Speaker 3 (22:09):
David Massey's got Will Smith on the pregame show at
six twenty five. Don't miss it. You're gonna want to
see his potato like head, uh and that bobblehead bouncing around.
Mister personality.

Speaker 8 (22:21):
Will Smith so excited to do this pregame interview too.

Speaker 4 (22:24):
Was he you're interviewing him in the pregame?

Speaker 2 (22:26):
Yeah? Was he?

Speaker 1 (22:27):
Was?

Speaker 2 (22:27):
He excited? Dave? Have you done it yet?

Speaker 7 (22:30):
Yeah, we taped it about a half hour ago.

Speaker 3 (22:32):
And would you say, was he beyond his two and
a half level out of ten excitement level?

Speaker 2 (22:37):
Well?

Speaker 7 (22:38):
He did ay on fleek.

Speaker 8 (22:40):
He did have a long day, him and his wife's
foundation had some sort of event where they're playing baseball
with kids. Will was pitching to the kids earlier today,
so I could give him a free pass.

Speaker 7 (22:50):
But he rallied for.

Speaker 8 (22:51):
The interview, and I thought he gave us some good
insight on tonight's catcher, Dalton Rushing.

Speaker 3 (22:56):
I can't wait to hear him turn the faucet of
his boblehead night.

Speaker 7 (23:00):
No, he's tired.

Speaker 3 (23:04):
Maybe he'll maybe he'll pitch him. He's Gonzabo though, so
he's not He's got either does the pregame interview where
he plays exactly.

Speaker 4 (23:13):
One of the two. Didn't you say something crazy happened
with the Diamondbacks last night?

Speaker 7 (23:17):
Actually today today?

Speaker 8 (23:19):
Randall Gritchik, the former Angel, former blue Jay, now Diamondback,
I guess, is a big collector of autograph baseballs and
gets guys to sign baseball's for him instead of jerseys.
So he wanted Yama Moto's autograph today, and Yama usually

(23:39):
in baseball, just to take you behind the scenes here,
players ask for autographs a lot, and usually it's signed
on the final day of the series. So let's say
Randall Gritchick on the Diamondbacks usually would send over whatever
he wants signed through a clubby the clubby will take
it to the Dodger clubhouse, the player will sign it
and return it to the play Yamamoto wants to meet

(24:03):
the person that he's signing for, so Gritchik had a
arrange a meeting with Yamamoto with Taoscar Hernandez, who he.

Speaker 7 (24:12):
Was teammates with with the Blue Jays.

Speaker 8 (24:15):
So Taoscar Hernandez arranged for Randall Gritchik to meet Yamamoto,
and Yamamoto came out there, they talked, he signed his baseball.

Speaker 4 (24:23):
That's pretty cool. What a guy man.

Speaker 7 (24:25):
There you go.

Speaker 3 (24:26):
David Vasse is our guest at the Real Underscore DV.
There is no better Dodger personality on the radio than
David vass. I'll always tell you if there's a no
hitter being pitched. Oh, of course he doesn't care. Jinks.

Speaker 8 (24:40):
I don't know how anybody would believe a broadcaster who
is supposed to let you know what's going on could
jinx anything on the field, especially I mean, let's.

Speaker 7 (24:52):
Just take this into account as well.

Speaker 8 (24:54):
Let's go, Yamamoto's English not the best, so if an
English speaking broadcaster, we're to say no hitter. Would Yamamoto,
even if he heard it on the mound, even understand it.

Speaker 3 (25:06):
It makes a difference if a Japanese guy says it though.
That's a real issue. Yeah, for sure. One thing Y'ama
Moto did last night was help out the Dodger bullpen.
But this is a huge concern, Dave, and probably won't
go away for the rest of the year.

Speaker 7 (25:19):
I hope it does.

Speaker 2 (25:20):
When will it go away, Dave? What is your prediction?

Speaker 7 (25:23):
Well, it's like a rash.

Speaker 8 (25:25):
It'll go like it'll go away when glass Now and
Snell get back on the mound, and it'll go away
when Tony Gonsolin and Landon Nak pitch the way that
they think they all know it when I see it exactly.

Speaker 2 (25:39):
But we should start.

Speaker 4 (25:40):
Calling him Glass later, not glass Now. That's pretty good, right,
said Glass Now. I was like, oh, I think you
did something there by saying now.

Speaker 2 (25:52):
Hey man, good stuff. Way better than abs and nips nips.

Speaker 7 (25:56):
And think about this.

Speaker 8 (25:57):
The Dodgers lead Baseball in innings pitched by their bullpen
over two hundred innings. Do you know who? The next
two teams are not very good teams, Marlins and White Sox.
Which tells you it's not a recipe for success. But somehow,
some way, the Dodger offense has picked those guys up

(26:18):
and they have held on. They have found a way. Please,
you could walk through. Where are you going? Sit over here?
I mean there's no assigned seating. This is one of
our listeners who's back here.

Speaker 3 (26:26):
They don't know what to doingtain man, that's what we love.

Speaker 7 (26:32):
Why do you have to feel the need to sit
here right now? He wants to be next to you
and listen to what you had to.

Speaker 4 (26:37):
Click at that day. He likes what you're doing.

Speaker 7 (26:39):
Yeah, it's gonna get all right. He likes to.

Speaker 3 (26:45):
Oh yeah, yeah, I'll call you when you're needed.

Speaker 7 (26:51):
It's his birthday day.

Speaker 4 (26:52):
Beautiful, happy birthday.

Speaker 5 (26:54):
Thank you.

Speaker 7 (26:55):
Were you expecting Rogan and Rodney or did you know
they were.

Speaker 5 (26:57):

Speaker 2 (27:01):

Speaker 3 (27:02):

Speaker 4 (27:28):

a tostata bar And of course Dodger.

Speaker 7 (27:35):

Speaker 2 (27:42):
You're lucky sushi she's ready for.

Speaker 4 (27:48):

Speaker 3 (27:49):
That might have been a little bit of a misleading
statement made on the show, Harry Go.

Speaker 7 (27:53):
They would be that's what I am here.

Speaker 4 (27:56):
He's gonna get a gift card. Susha is the she

I weigh over two hundred pounds, Dave doesn't.

Speaker 8 (28:09):
Don't you want to know how I made it back
to work today after a miracle recovery?

Speaker 3 (28:14):
Yeah, well, I didn't know if we were talking about that, Dave.
A lot of people didn't know this. Dave was under
the weather last night, and Tim.

Speaker 8 (28:20):
Kates picked me up as a great teammate that he
is so I felt like I was Peter Parker going
to see my personal doctor. Yesterday morning he brings me
in really early, checks me out, prescribed a z pak
and some steroids to get the swelling down. And then

in Burbank where they just hold a heat lamp over.

Speaker 4 (28:58):

I was like Jesus, yeah, his bruises were like the
