Colin FuG three things we need to know what he got.
Speaker 2 (00:01):
Chick filiz in big trouble with a lot of their
favorite fans. They're facing backlash after making a slight adjustment
to their waffle fries. They added pea starch to the coating.
Supposedly that was supposed to help the waffle fries stay
crispier longer. But people are like saying, these fries are horrible.
They taste stale and dry and hardened. Why mess with
(00:22):
something that already worked?
Speaker 1 (00:24):
It was delicious.
Speaker 3 (00:24):
You know, last night, my kids, Christopher and Audrey, ordered
Chick fil A for their dinner, and I was waiting
because I saw the story yesterday see if they would
say anything. And they both complained that the fries tasted different,
so like, without having any prior knowledge.
Speaker 1 (00:38):
So it's happened to all Chick fil A's.
Speaker 2 (00:40):
And yeah, they changed them across the US, and hopefully
they listen to their fans and fathers are saying, just
change them.
Speaker 4 (00:45):
Back, right, So I was gonna say, like, Chick fil
a fries soggy also aren't that bad?
Speaker 1 (00:51):
So yeah, they probably got a new program director.
Speaker 2 (00:56):
The new bosses changed things all the time, so the
US Surgeon General, guys reignited a public health debate, has
now proposed cancer warning labels on alcoholic beverages. Now, one
expert says probably should be on there because alcohol.
Speaker 5 (01:11):
Is really good at breaking down protein, and our whole
body's made out of rot, and over time it causes
damage to sells, inflammation. It really not just cancer. It
causes more than two hundred different diseases in the body
directly or indirectly.
Speaker 2 (01:26):
So if you needed a little motivation for dry January,
I guess there it is this morning, you guys. Mark
Zuckerberg announced big changes to Facebook, Instagram, and threads. They
are getting rid of fact checkers, Zuckerberg said, listen, they've
proven to be too politically biased and have destroyed more
trust than they've created. He said, we're replacing fact checkers
(01:47):
with something called community notes, simplifying their policies and focusing
on reducing mistakes. Looking forward to this next chapter, they're
going to focus the company's on enforcing illegal or life
enforcement on illegal and high severity violations.
Speaker 1 (02:03):
Oops, so they made a little mistake five years ago.
Whoopsie with those fact checkers. So those are didn't believe him?
Speaker 2 (02:11):
Yeah, he said, he wants to just get back to
the roots where it's a free plat free speech type platform.
Speaker 1 (02:17):
He thinks that's what the people want.
Speaker 2 (02:19):
And that's three things you need to know.
Speaker 1 (02:21):
So a little heads up.
Speaker 6 (02:22):
I'm looking for somebody and if I could just put
the word out there on the street. So we went
to Hawaii a couple of years ago, a couple of
years ago, couple weeks ago, and called an uber. Uber
picked us up in my house. I think we left
like at five am. Got to the airport and we
got to the airport and you know, my son Dutch,
he's eighteen, he's got his air pods in right get
(02:44):
to the airport. I guess they fell out of his
pocket or something on the Uber. I took the bags
to go check. I go, will you guys search the Uber? Well,
I go check the bags in. So they show up
at bags where I'm checking the bags in. I God,
you find the air pods. He's like, no, could find him,
took apart the car, couldn't find him. But according to
his phone, they're in that uber. Right weird, right, suspicious, weird.
(03:07):
I couldn't find them. So you can track them. And
so during vacation. Dutch was tracking them, they were in
the car, they were going with the car, and then
at some point about a week later, they ended up.
He saw them at some place called Doug's barbershop. I've
never heard of Doug's barbershop. But his uber driver's a
guy named Jaffar. So if you know anybody named Jafar,
(03:30):
and you and I'm giving you this these clues and
you could put this together and find Jafar at Doug's barbershop,
can you tell him that my son Dutch would like
his airpod's back, like he went on the app. You
know how you can contact the guy.
Speaker 3 (03:41):
That as you here during the show just a few
minutes ago.
Speaker 1 (03:44):
And I don't think so, oh why because.
Speaker 3 (03:46):
I just had some AirPods show up on my phone
and it was like something boys AirPods are on the
move and I've never seen that before.
Speaker 1 (03:54):
Yeah I would, No, I don't have dutches stuff on
my own.
Speaker 3 (03:56):
Let me see if I can find it out what
my phone's acting all kinds of weird.
Speaker 1 (03:59):
So you know what I goes acting where too?
Speaker 6 (04:01):
And so it's my wife's phone and I feel it
has something to do with something new going on with Apple. Yeah,
I was texting with someone over the weekend. So I
sent this friend of mine to my doctor to go
do hyperbaric. Her name is Emma. So Emma goes to
this hyperbaric and has some questions about hyperbaric. I text
my doctor, doctor Bordinko, about stuff with Emma.
Speaker 1 (04:22):
I'm going back forth Emma and doctor Bordenko. Emma and
doctor Bordenko. In a text, I get this thing that
pops up. It says, update your address. Do you know
what I'm talking about?
Speaker 6 (04:31):
Earsine those like no contact photo or whatever date their
contact diage. Doctor Bordiko sends this thing to update your contact.
So I hit update in the middle of text e change.
At some point my phone takes Emma's conversation in doctor
Bordenko's conversation and makes it one conversation. So now it's
all there is no Emma. There's no So whenever I
text Emma, it turns into doctor Bordenko. Whenever I text
(04:52):
doctor Bordenko turns.
Speaker 1 (04:53):
Into Emmath happened to me.
Speaker 6 (04:55):
It was so terrible because now like I'm going back.
So I said my doctor, I go hey, uh, I
said something to her. She could text back and I go, well, hey,
is this is this ema doctor Bordinko And they go lo.
Speaker 1 (05:08):
L and I'm like, no, you don't understand.
Speaker 4 (05:11):
It's like a group on you on your contact, Like
you can add multiple phone numbers to that said contact.
So you probably merged. Did you remove it?
Speaker 6 (05:20):
I went and I removed Emma number from doctor, but
it still doesn't it's still and then.
Speaker 4 (05:25):
Maybe you just have to hard reset your phone.
Speaker 1 (05:26):
I did all that too.
Speaker 4 (05:27):
What that's happened to me before? Where you've like merged
the contacts and then you have like a bunch of
different random numbers coming through as one person's name. It's
really annoying.
Speaker 6 (05:36):
But then the name changes on my phone, It'll be
Emma and then I'll text Emma and then that text
changes to doctor Bordenko.
Speaker 1 (05:43):
Yeah, I take it to the Apple store.
Speaker 2 (05:44):
I just feel like you wouldn't have this problem if
he used.
Speaker 1 (05:47):
Probably Kyle, I am a fan of Android. I always
loved Android. My wife made me change so we could
all be on the same thing. So it all shows
up blue. Kyle's phone is the fast. I won't argue
that ever anyway, So if you know the answer of
let me know
