Speaker 1 (00:02):
And Rich Charlie, thanks for holding you on the air.
What's up?
Speaker 2 (00:05):
So I recently got kicked out of my work carpool
and just wanted to just get everyone's opinion on whether
or not I'm in the wrong, you know.
Speaker 1 (00:15):
Okay, Well, before you get into that story, I'm assuming
that in the carpool, you're listening to our show with
everybody laughing, joking, dancing to the music.
Speaker 2 (00:23):
Oh yeah, okay, good every morning.
Speaker 1 (00:25):
Good, Okay, go ahead.
Speaker 2 (00:28):
So I drink like a Starbucks every morning while we're driving,
and apparently I've left the empty cup in the back
seat a few times without taking it with me, you know,
at the end of the day drop off, and the
other day, like I guess I didn't even finish my coffee.
I don't know, like my stomach was not feeling great.
I guess I left it in the cup holder. And
(00:49):
my coworker's new car, which she was like really obsessed with,
and on the way home, she's like swerved will driving
and it kind of went all over the place, and
I was like covered in coffee. But she's freaking out
yell at me and pulled over. It's like, you know,
scream at me to get out of the car, and
I'm like, you know, look, I'll send me a dry
cleaning bill. I was joking around and just started. She's
(01:11):
yelling at me, calling me a slob, told me I
had to like pay for her car to be detailed.
I don't know. I was like, I don't have to
clean your car because like you can't drive. But I
don't know. I don't really care about being kicked out
of the carpool. But am I the wrong here?
Speaker 1 (01:25):
Yes? Don't at least you pay for that. You're like,
oh my god, am sorry, you're drink. Let me get
your car detailed. I'm so sorry.
Speaker 3 (01:38):
And you have a reputation for being a little bit
of a slob in the carpool anyway.
Speaker 2 (01:44):
I mean, but like she swerved and I spilled my
coffee on myself, Like I should pay for her car
to get detail, right.
Speaker 3 (01:52):
You should new car.
Speaker 2 (01:54):
I'm like, you're also talking to people with like fancy
cars over here that would definitely want their card detail to.
Speaker 3 (01:59):
Have a coffee car. But if I, like, you don't
have a fans car, your car drives, that's sally, your
car drive, doesn't.
Speaker 1 (02:05):
I don't pick for that out.
Speaker 4 (02:09):
I hadn't been the extra twenty thousand dollars.
Speaker 3 (02:11):
But I think it matters.
Speaker 4 (02:13):
I think it doesn't matter if it's a fancy car
or just a regular car. For her, it's a brand
new car. True, So it's kind of like just a
matter of respect. And when you break it down to that,
it's like you're kind of completely disrespecting the situation. So
I think, yeah, like probably like this was the first
time anyone got upset with.
Speaker 1 (02:35):
You, like car, plus, whether it's a new car or not,
it's her car. If you spilled something in it, you
should get a clean That's just a common courtesy. That's
just being nice, you know what I mean. Like you
borrow someone's jacket, spill something on it, you gotta wash it,
clean it.
Speaker 3 (02:49):
Yeah, I don't think it's like I'm going to send
you the dry cleaning bill. Was probably not the response
for that.
Speaker 2 (02:57):
Oh No, I think she's the one who spilled it
with her swerving drive.
Speaker 1 (03:01):
Just like now you're putting us on speakerphone, like that's rude.
Speaker 3 (03:05):
I would kick you out of the car pool for that. Yeah,
don't you dare talk to in our favorite song and
we're trying to sing along. Your stiff.
Speaker 1 (03:14):
Why are footing on speakerphone?
Speaker 2 (03:15):
Why I have no idea, just trying to get this
coffee in my pharmas or.
Speaker 3 (03:25):
Charlie has other things to work.
Speaker 4 (03:28):
Charlie loves his coffee.
Speaker 3 (03:29):
If we've learned that sings, it's true.
Speaker 4 (03:31):
Charlie is coffee man, undeniable.
Speaker 3 (03:34):
Offer to pay the car detail though, dude, and then
you'll be fine.
Speaker 1 (03:37):
Yeah, all right, all right, Charlie, you got me, all right,
I'm glad you called. I have a great day, dude.
