Speaker 1 (00:00):
All right, it's Thursday. That means we're catching cheaters. We've
got War of the Roses. So, Hallie, good morning, what's.

Speaker 2 (00:06):
Going on with you?

Speaker 3 (00:06):
I think that my boyfriend might be cheating on me
with his boss or starting some kind of relationship. Yeah,
it's definitely suspicious vibes.

Speaker 2 (00:15):
We're gonna tell you this gase we've got to take.

Speaker 1 (00:17):
Don take this gaze, all right, War of the Roses,
we take it. Starts next with John Jaye Rich.

Speaker 2 (00:23):
Much luckies. Not only do you need to know if
they're cheating, you deserve to know the truth. War of
the Roses right now with John jay and Rich.

Speaker 1 (00:38):
John Jaye Rich, Time for War of the Roses. So
Hollie thinks somebody could be cheating on her, and we're
gonna hear her story. We're gonna find out if they
are by offering them a dozen red roses, and hopefully
this person says to Halle Halle, good morning, Hi, what's
your story?

Speaker 2 (00:52):
Who's cheating on you?

Speaker 3 (00:56):
I just think there's something going on with my boyfriend, Joshua.
He so he has this job that's stressful, and like
he's been saying, he's been going out late for meetings
like there'll either be at the office or like it'll
be like a dinner meeting, and he's just barely checking

(01:21):
in with me on those meetings. And like, I mean,
at first I was really understanding, but I try to
brush it off, you know, like not let it get
to me during the day. But I just feel like,
intuitively something is up with him.

Speaker 4 (01:38):
And I think what really makes me suspicious is the
fact that he has a newly divorced boss and he
works very closely with her, and he's like always talking
about her. And it's like, I get it, you're excited,
and it's awesome that, like she's a woman and you know,
she's like leading the way, but it's just like he's

(02:01):
way too familiar with her, and it's just so it
just sounds like they're having some kind of an affair.

Speaker 5 (02:10):
Honestly, they say, you always hear about the one the
other one. They'll always drop the name somewhere, even if
it's in a friend context. Really yeah, because guys like
got to they don't want to confess, but they can't
keep their mouths shut. So most people say that you'll
always hear about who he's cheating with because you'll hear

(02:31):
their names to it's not always going to be somebody
rather did that with.

Speaker 3 (02:34):
His wife, honestly, like not the woman he's cheated on.
His wife was like to me, he kept talking about her,
so I was like, okay, this is clearly and then
eventually it came out terrible.

Speaker 2 (02:46):
So it's totally aligning with what you've got going on then.

Speaker 1 (02:48):
But I would also assume if you're working and you're
going to talk about your boss, you know, talk about that's.

Speaker 3 (02:56):
Like, I can't confirm it because I can tell you
I am not having an affair with Mark.

Speaker 2 (03:04):
That's true.

Speaker 6 (03:05):
You don't really staying out late with him, and then
like you know, ignoring your wife while you're hanging.

Speaker 2 (03:08):
Out all that part.

Speaker 1 (03:09):
So they ignoring when you said, so he's at a
dinner and he doesn't text you during the dinner, right yeah, And.

Speaker 4 (03:16):
He's like, well, I don't want to be rude.

Speaker 3 (03:17):
I don't want to seem like I'm you know, my
phone's pulling focus. Okay, he's always got something to say.

Speaker 4 (03:23):
You know.

Speaker 1 (03:23):
Okay, that is that is good business. Like when you're
at when I my new thing not new, you're trying
to do it for a while. When I go to
dinner or a meal with someone. I try to put
my phone away, not on the table, because I heard
that's rude, So I'll try to put it in my pocket.
But then I think I'm gonna get cancer, so I
try to put it somewhere far away from me, underneath
the chair. But I will get up to go to
the bathroom, and when I go to the bathroom, I

(03:43):
grab my phone and then I will text my wife
and then she'll say. I'll be like, hey, I'm just
thinking about you. I'm at dinner, and she's like, I
know I'm at dinner with you. No, No, but you know
what I'm saying, Like, so there's ways around it, you know,
cause I'm sure he.

Speaker 2 (03:58):
Had to give him py at some point.

Speaker 5 (04:00):
Well, he definitely has his reasons for saying that. But
you're also right to be suspicious because if it comes
up too much, which it sounds like it is, you're like, wait, wait,
talk to me about us, don't talk about somebody else.

Speaker 3 (04:12):
And she has that gut filling right, like I don't
need to hear this woman's mouth when we're at Target
on a Sunday. I mean, I don't need to hear
this woman's name in his mouth, Like.

Speaker 1 (04:27):
All right, Joshua, see who he sends the flowers to?
Does he send him to his wife, Hallie or his boss? Okay,
a break, We'll come back and we'll see who Joshua
sends the flowers to.

Speaker 6 (04:40):
Step this way, step that way.

Speaker 2 (04:44):
Jogi and Rich. We're in the middle war of the rosies.
You got, Hollie.

Speaker 1 (04:47):
She thinks her boyfriend Joshua is cheating on her with
his boss, who is newly divorced.

Speaker 2 (04:52):
And you know what they say about divorced women.

Speaker 5 (04:54):
What do they say?

Speaker 1 (04:55):
They're hot to trot, hot to trot.

Speaker 5 (05:00):
They say in the nineteen twenties, that's right, says really
inspired by.

Speaker 2 (05:05):
The Kentucky Derby.

Speaker 1 (05:07):
Okay, so he's talking a lot about his boss and
how you just think something's up, especially with her when
he's at a company dinner or something and she's probably
there and he's not texting you or updating you on anything.

Speaker 2 (05:17):
Right, So you you got all the reason to be worried.

Speaker 3 (05:20):
Something definitely smells like trouble.

Speaker 2 (05:24):
Okay, KYLEI are you ready? I'm ready? Okay, let's call.

Speaker 5 (05:38):
Hello, good morning.

Speaker 2 (05:39):
Is Joshua available? This is him?

Speaker 3 (05:43):
Oh?

Speaker 5 (05:43):
Perfect?

Speaker 6 (05:44):
It's kind of your lucky day. So, hi Joshua, my
name is Ada. I'm with a new company. We're called
JNR Flowers, and you've been chosen to be a part
of our social media campaign. I know you're thinking, like
what is going on here, but it's really cool for you. You
get to send our most romantic book care for like
a dozen red roses. You can send them to anyone
you want. It's totally free, and all we kind of

(06:04):
ask your return is that you post about us on
whichever social media platform you use the most, so you're
getting the word out about us, and then you get
to send our most romantic bouquet for free.

Speaker 2 (06:14):
Okay.

Speaker 7 (06:15):
So you're like, you're like a local business.

Speaker 6 (06:17):
Yeah, yeah, but we can send them pretty much anywhere,
Like you know, we have contacts and ways to get
it wherever you need to go if it were out
of state or anything like that. But don't need any
credit card or any other personal information from you to
get this going. I am going to put a little
card where you just like attach it to the bouquet,
and that's where I tell people, you know, this is
your chance to personalize it. It is our pure passion bouquet.

(06:39):
But you know, depending on the nature of your relationship,
you may want to say something fun or flirty. Some
people get like dirty and stuff, but like you can
really just don't be shy, say whatever you like. Give
me the message on the card, and then we can
go like name, address, date, and time that they'll actually
be delivered.

Speaker 7 (06:55):
Oh, okay, like you could like I appreciate you more
than you know.

Speaker 3 (07:04):
That's sweet.

Speaker 6 (07:06):
I appreciate you more than you know. Do you want
like a love Joshua at the end or what kind
of salutation?

Speaker 7 (07:19):
That's okay? I think the roses might might be the
might let him know. That's the vibe, you know.

Speaker 6 (07:27):
Okay, So you don't want to sign your.

Speaker 7 (07:28):
Name maybe not love, you can just put my name?

Speaker 4 (07:32):
Okay, got it?

Speaker 6 (07:34):
And then who did you want me to address this to?

Speaker 7 (07:38):
Corean?

Speaker 2 (07:41):
Ah?

Speaker 4 (07:43):
Oh my go are you serious?

Speaker 3 (07:46):
Joshua?

Speaker 4 (07:47):
Are you beating serious?

Speaker 1 (07:50):
Ali?

Speaker 7 (07:52):
Wait, Hallie, let's listen. It's not what you think. Korean's
not just my boss. She's been helping me with, like
the side project I've been working on. That's that's all.

Speaker 3 (08:07):
She's not just your boss. What the I don't understand?
Why would you send her romantic flowers? What because she,
like you know, helps you figure out how to do
back end work on a website and make a spreadsheets.
Not what I.

Speaker 7 (08:29):
It's not. It's not like that we've been spending time
outside of work, but like it's it's only because she's
been mentoring me. I'm like business stuff and like I've
had all all these ideas, so I've been like running
by the buyer and just she's been like really encouraging.

Speaker 1 (08:45):
Josh, tell you what, Josha, you're on the radio and
the John Jy and Richard radio show. Hollie thought you
were cheating on her with your boss, so she came
to us to find out. Now, if I go around
the room, I mean, Kyle, you were pretty. Just they're
romantic roses.

Speaker 6 (08:59):
You're pretty your passion romantic roses twice.

Speaker 1 (09:03):
Yeah, so you sent romantic passion roses to your boss.
You can understand how Hollie's feeling right now.

Speaker 3 (09:11):
Why didn't you send them to me?

Speaker 4 (09:13):
When's the last time you send me flowers?

Speaker 3 (09:17):
Do you mean I have any idea how this feel?

Speaker 5 (09:19):
Like?

Speaker 3 (09:19):
What if I was gone every night going to meetings,
not responding to my phone, not checking in with you,
and talking about some bus that had named Brian all.

Speaker 4 (09:28):
The time when we were buying sheets at Target, and.

Speaker 3 (09:30):
Then you get a call about sending flowers and you
don't pick me. How would you feel if the shoe
was on the other foot.

Speaker 7 (09:39):
I didn't, I didn't know it was a loyalty test.
I just panicked. And when when the person.

Speaker 5 (09:45):
That sound has been helping me, No, you didn't sound
panicked at all.

Speaker 2 (09:49):
And also like, not only did you send the flowers
to her?

Speaker 1 (09:51):
When Kyle asked you if you wanted to put love,
you said, I think that the flowers itself will send
the message.

Speaker 2 (09:57):
That's safe, that isado.

Speaker 3 (10:00):
Yeah, every right to let.

Speaker 4 (10:01):
You up on that.

Speaker 7 (10:04):
I mean, I don't want to make a big Why would.

Speaker 2 (10:08):
You send your boss your HR violation?

Speaker 5 (10:11):
And you know, if you are working on a side project,
that would be something you would be like, hey, we're
working on a side project. Your girlfriend would know about
it because you would have nothing to hide.

Speaker 2 (10:20):
You know what else too? I think he'd be like, hey,
this is great.

Speaker 1 (10:23):
I love the flowers, but I like to get something
less than roses because I'm working on a side project.

Speaker 2 (10:27):
I want to send them to my boss. You have
chrysanthemums or something. I hear him, you hear his motivation.
Send him to the boss. He got caught, right, he
got caught, right, he got caught. Yeah, you're busted, dude.
I'm so sorry, Alix. I'm glad that you're not married
to him and not he's your boyfriend, so you can
leave him. Yeah, he got caught.

Speaker 4 (10:48):
Yeah, this is I'm he made it a secret.

Speaker 3 (10:52):
It's it's you're not supposed.

Speaker 4 (10:54):
To keep secrets from people you like I never was
like a celebration.

Speaker 3 (10:58):
Or maybe like a huge flower display you're sending them,
then that would be a secret.

Speaker 5 (11:04):
He's got a lot of secrets. He's got a lot
of stuff he's not telling you.

Speaker 2 (11:07):
He got called.

Speaker 3 (11:11):
I mean, it's so difficult because I don't know. I'm here, Like,
what do I do with all his in my house?

Speaker 2 (11:17):
Sell it, burn it, burn it all.

Speaker 5 (11:20):
Well, I'm sorry to trouble.

Speaker 3 (11:23):
My mom told me that something was wrong with him.
I mean, he just he has communication problems to begin with.

Speaker 2 (11:28):
He was right. I'm sorry, girl, that's tough.

Speaker 6 (11:32):
It's fine.

Speaker 2 (11:35):
We're here for you.

Speaker 6 (11:35):
You are much better off without him. It hurts right now,
but after you heal, you will be so glad to
say goodbye.

Speaker 3 (11:42):
I just want him to say he's here, you know, like,
why can't he just come out and say it.

Speaker 4 (11:47):
I would respect him more.

Speaker 2 (11:49):
Do you want to say that, Joshua?

Speaker 7 (11:52):
No, well I think you know you know so Hallie.

Speaker 1 (11:58):
Sorry it turned out this way, Joshua. We're gonna let
you go. And by that, I mean we're speaking for
your boss. Today's your last day budget cuts.

Speaker 2 (12:10):
Yeah, you got the.

Speaker 7 (12:14):
I did not expect this three my morning.

Speaker 3 (12:19):
I want to get off the phone, and I'm really upset.

Speaker 2 (12:21):
Okay, helly, thank you. That's where the roses
