Speaker 1 (00:00):
The other day, we were talking to somebody on the

(00:01):
air and they told us how they saw a woman
drop her keys in the Walmart parking lot and he
went up to her to give her the keys, and
she took off running.

Speaker 2 (00:08):
She was scared of him, and so he was chasing
after her. I got your keys. I got your keys.

Speaker 1 (00:12):
So we just thought it'd be thowing me through it
out there on Facebook, where like, you know, what's the
craziest thing you've ever seen in a parking lot?

Speaker 3 (00:18):
Uh?

Speaker 2 (00:18):
Lela or Lilia?

Speaker 3 (00:21):
What's your name, It's it's Lilia.

Speaker 2 (00:25):
Lilia, Hi, good morning. So what'd you see the parking lot?

Speaker 3 (00:29):
Well, I was driving home from dropping my daughter off
in a friend's house over in the Maryvale area, and
I saw somebody like out of the corner of my eye,
just somebody drop and I heard a gunshot at the
same time, and so it was two people that had

(00:49):
shot another person. So I called nine one one was
on the phone with them, telling them which way they
were and they were walking. They weren't or running, they
were just walking like it was just a normal day,
telling them what I told the person on nine one one,
what they were wearing. When I turned on to sixty seventh.

(01:12):
They were gone, and I watched too many CSI's and
all those kinds of shows, so I just ducked into
the first street off sixty seventh and saw them walking down.
Was on the phone still with nine on one, and
because I was following them, the cops knew exactly where
to find them. One of the guys threw their gun

(01:35):
underneath a bush and I sat there and cops came
and arrested them, and luckily, what I found out was
the person that was shot was okay. He was shot
three times.

Speaker 4 (01:47):
But he was alert and awake.

Speaker 3 (01:49):
On the way the hospitals what the detective told me,
and they told me they would have me come in
if it went to trial, but I guess it never
did because they never called me.

Speaker 1 (01:59):
Well, if you would have told us that whole story
and then said guess what part of town that was in,
I would have said.

Speaker 2 (02:04):
Mary Vale, I would have Yeah, that's great.

Speaker 3 (02:09):
And I feared they didn't call me because in all
those shopping centers, Pipe and all those there's always cameras,
so I'm sure they didn't need but it was certainly
a situation. My husband wasn't very happy at me for following.

Speaker 4 (02:22):
Very dangerous and obviously they're not above shooting anybody, so
that you could have been in the crosshairs.

Speaker 3 (02:29):
I might have been, but I just figured, you know what,
they might not find them, and what if this person dies.
I don't know. I just I had to follow.

Speaker 2 (02:38):
You should have grabbed the gun.

Speaker 3 (02:39):
Who I was.

Speaker 2 (02:40):
You should have grabbed the gun out of the bush.

Speaker 1 (02:42):
Out of the bush, and then we had at the top,
here's the weapon.

Speaker 2 (02:45):
Just doing my job, doing my duty as a public sermon.
You ruin the whole thing.

Speaker 3 (02:51):
So as had just gotten there, those people that lived
in that house pulled up and they had little kids.

Speaker 2 (02:59):
So keep you so.

Speaker 3 (03:02):
Well. I don't live over there, but I'm glad I
helped somebody.

Speaker 1 (03:05):
Yeah, well, thank you for sharing that story with it.
That's definitely something very strange seeing a parking lot.

Speaker 2 (03:09):
Thank you.

Speaker 1 (03:10):

in a parking lot that was strange?

Speaker 4 (03:17):
So good morning? First of all, So I'm sure I
gave a whole bunch of people a great show. I
thought I was a new mom and I was trying
to do the right thing and teach my son. Like
if somebody grabs you like, you need to scream, you
need to draw attention to yourself. This is not my mom,
this is not my dad. And so a couple of

(03:40):
weeks go by and we haven't really talked about it,
and he's little. When we go to the park and
I'm like, okay, buddy, like it's time for us to go,
Like let's go. And he's good and he's compliant, he's
coming with me. Of course he's mine. And I go
to put him in his car seat and he's like,
I'm not doing this. So I pick him up and
he starts screaming, this is not my mom. Help me,

(04:04):
this is not my mom.

Speaker 2 (04:07):
Dear Lord in heaven.

Speaker 4 (04:11):
He's flailing, and I'm like, I put his I put
my hand over his mouth, and I am like duffing
him into his par and I was like, oh my gosh,
somebody is gonna call the police. I promise I have pictures.

Speaker 3 (04:27):
I don't know if that helps. I don't know if
that makes it.

Speaker 2 (04:31):
See section, look at my scar. This is my kid, right.
I almost give him away at that point. How old
is he now?

Speaker 4 (04:41):
So he is he will be eight in a couple
of weeks.

Speaker 1 (04:46):
That is a fantastic story in the story that you
have to tell THEE.

Speaker 4 (04:50):
And you just the beginning of you having your hands
full for the rest of your life. Oh yeah, he's
been nothing but trouble since.
