Speaker 1 (00:00):
Judji en Rich Tala Tala Tala la la the reflex
reflex flex flex flex Let's reflex. I cannot actually pretty
good at Victor.

Speaker 2 (00:18):
Hello, are you there?

Speaker 1 (00:19):
Hey, Hey, what's up?

Speaker 3 (00:23):
Yeah?

Speaker 2 (00:23):
So I have this situation.

Speaker 3 (00:27):
It's kind of a little bit weird. So I'm the
same age.

Speaker 2 (00:31):
As my aunt because like when my mom was pregnant
with me, my my grandma was pregnant with my aunt
around the same time, and like we were raised as
if we were like sisters because we did everything together
and like we're best friends. But something has changed lately

(00:52):
and it's been a little weird because like my aunt,
I don't know, like whenever we're like with our friends
or even like with family, she's like trying to embarrass me.

Speaker 3 (01:07):
And like and then she'll like it's kind of.

Speaker 2 (01:10):
Like hurting me, you know, and if I say anything,
she will like pull this like well, like I'm technically
your aunt type of card, you know what I mean.

Speaker 3 (01:21):
And like as if she's.

Speaker 2 (01:24):
I don't know, as if she's like above me, and
you know, at first, I'm like, okay, whatever, but now
it's starting to like annoy me. And it's not like
I don't want to start any drama, you know what
I mean. But like, I also don't know what to
do anymore because it's it's getting to a point.

Speaker 1 (01:45):
Okay, and so to me, I think the other time
she could pull the aunt card on you is if
you're having a discussion in family's around. That's the only
time her rank really matters.

Speaker 2 (01:57):
I still have to sit at the kid table at Thanksgiving.

Speaker 4 (02:00):
That's what I'm saying.

Speaker 1 (02:00):
You're with family, But if you're out with a bunch
of friends, I don't think she can pull the ant
card on you. If you're the same age and you're
out at a bar, if you guys have the same friends,
it doesn't unless she's being funny.

Speaker 2 (02:10):
That's yeah.

Speaker 1 (02:12):
My I'm Mexican and my mom. I remember my mom
having aunts that were younger than she was the same age,
and she was very close with all of them. In fact,
it only came up that these people were her aunts
and uncles at the same age when we were talking
about that they were their aunts and uncles. Other than that,
everyone was just friends.

Speaker 4 (02:29):
Like, I'm curious how she is like in front of
your friends. Is she like, oh, go get me a
drink from the bar because I'm your aunt, and you
need to do what I say or like what's the
conversation because I can understand, like sometimes you know, you
have those friends who try to like one up you
and throw those little daggers at you, and you know
that they're really not your friends. But it's like that's
your aunt and you guys grew up together, so you
know she loves you, So she probably is trying to

(02:50):
be funny and it's just not hitting yas that's what
I'm picking up.

Speaker 2 (02:55):
Yeah, yeah, because it started out of nowhere. You know,
like this has never been an issue at all, she's
ever done that because we're pretty much like best friends.

Speaker 3 (03:06):
We do everything together, and now.

Speaker 2 (03:10):
There is like this weird hiarchy that she's trying to
make it happen. But like, yeah, she's not like a
bad person at all, so it could be a joke.
But it's like you said, it's not landing.

Speaker 5 (03:25):
Is there something that's going on in your life that
she could be jealous of? Like it almost sounds like
maybe there's some jealousy thing and that she's trying to
like cut you down.

Speaker 4 (03:32):
Yeah, she'll feel better about.

Speaker 3 (03:33):
Yeah, I mean I started dating in this guy and
like she recently broke up with her boyfriend, but like,
I don't it's not a finger at all.

Speaker 5 (03:45):
That could might be part of the reason.

Speaker 4 (03:47):
Yeah, it might be one of those things too, where
it's like, yeah, you guys are super close, but like
it's okay to maybe not hang out all the time.
Maybe you guys just need a little bit of space.
Like I have a sister. We're six and a half
years apart, and sometimes we get under each other's nerves
and I'm like, I can't see you right now, like
you need to get up all the way out of
my face. So maybe that's something. Maybe that's where you're at,
you just need some space.

Speaker 5 (04:05):
Or you could just go to her and be like, hey,
I yeah, maybe I'm crazy.

Speaker 2 (04:09):
Yeah, but mind it seems like lately been.

Speaker 5 (04:12):
Doing this and it's kind of I don't think I'm
taking it the way you're supposed to be doing it,
or maybe I'm misunderstanding, but I think like an open
conversation could happen about that, maybe heal some things.

Speaker 3 (04:23):
Okay, Yeah, so talk about it not to not let
it get worse.

Speaker 2 (04:27):
Yeah, I think. So thanks for calling in.

Speaker 1 (04:30):
I hope you can help you out there.

Speaker 2 (04:32):
Thank you have a great day
