Speaker 1 (00:00):
Laura, good morning. I understand you've been haunted.
Speaker 2 (00:06):
Good morning, I have. Yeah. So about sixteen years ago,
I lived in this house and I had come home
one night and the house was really small, It's an
old railroad house. And I kept my makeup in a
basket on the back of a toilet and I had
come home to find my makeup on the floor in
(00:27):
a perfect hat circle. And you know when things fall,
they scatter everywhere. At this time, and I was I
had just moved in and I was waiting for my
now husband to come over here from the UK, so
I was the only one that had access to the
house at the time. Do I know that nobody had
(00:49):
been in there to do it? And then my boys
were with me one night and my youngest was in
the bedroom sleeping and he when he sleeps alcohol, nothing
wakes him up. And my oldest and I were sitting
in the living room watching TV and I had this
son that my youngest and his dad had made for me,
(01:11):
and it was hanging on the wall and it just
randomly fell off the wall and my youngest I could
hear him in the bedroom and he said, you broke it.
Why did you break it? Because it had mom in
the middle of it, and all the letters fell out
of it. And then my husband when he came here
(01:32):
every night, he would chunder when he was sleeping for
no good reason, like he would just like see really weird,
random unaudible things in his sleep. And he never did
it again after we moved out of that house.
Speaker 1 (01:51):
That's pretty much how English people, I'm sorry, English people mumble.
Speaker 3 (01:58):
Right, that's what I thought.
Speaker 2 (02:02):
I'm like, this crazy britt. What's he saying in his sleep?
Speaker 1 (02:07):
Well, I think the makeup is pretty freaky. That fell
out in front of you and it's in a half circle.
That's all crazy.
Speaker 4 (02:13):
Something evil?
Speaker 1 (02:14):
Was this all in the same house.
Speaker 2 (02:17):
All in the same house? Yeah, yeah, yeah. Once I
moved it stopped. It never happened again, like creepy. I'm
positive that house is conto.
Speaker 3 (02:30):
Yeah too.
Speaker 1 (02:32):
All right, Laura, Well that's perfect. We're going to get
into a lot of this the next couple days. Thank
you for calling in, Laura.
Speaker 2 (02:37):
Awesome, Thank you. I listened every day. I think you
guys are awesome.
Speaker 1 (02:41):
Love you, love you too. We are a minute thirty
away from the Disney ticket, so you got to keep listening.
A minute thirty in the meantime, while we wait the
minute thirty, I'll take a quick cool story. I had
to be on this conference call yesterday right that I
knew nothing about. It was at the same time that
I was supposed to beat the gym working out, and
I was stressed about it because upper managers like sent
(03:04):
me an email, you need to be on this call,
and Richie were on the call too, but it was
it was a Microsoft teams like a zoom and I
was like, how am I going to do this to
the gym? Because if I can't sold the gym appointment,
I got to pay eighty bucks, I know. So I'm like,
I can't. And my wife says to me, one should
take one of those little air buds earbuds and put
them in in one ear and while you're working out,
(03:25):
so you're listening to the conference call. And I was like,
that's genius. So I set my phone up and there's
like thirty five people on the video call, right, I
could see all their faces, and I set up and
I had a little red what are they called airbud, AirPod, AirPod.
I had an AirPod in my ear and then I
was at the gym working out and other people working
out and they'd come up to talk to me. They
say something just in passing, and I go like this,
(03:46):
this is my favorite thing. I'm going to continue to go.
I'm on a conference calls. My figure up, one figure up,
one figure on the conference call. I'm on a conference call.
Speaker 3 (03:55):
So you didn't even hear what they said. They just
might be like hey John Jay, and you could just
pay call.
Speaker 1 (04:00):
And then and then a couple of times I would
have had the phone sitting on the counter and I
could see like, you know, like the all the heads
like a Brady Bunch set up from far away, and
then everyone was I picked up the phone and I thought,
I wonder if they need to know that I'm on
here or not. So I would take out undo the
video and put it on like there's there's this friend
of mine, she's Korean and she was working out, and
I would just put it on her face. We would notice,
(04:22):
how I don't know, I just put on her face
for a little bit, and I put it on somebody
else's face and they would say when they would say
to me, what are you doing? I goh should have
bet a coverers call anytime. And then my wife showed up.
She showed up at the gym for something, and she
walks over. She goes, oh, you're doing the red and
I I have on a Coffs call, so that's not
gonna be a thing. Seven twenty right now eight seven,
seven ninety three seven one oh four seven. We take

Speaker 3 (07:19):
Well, I mean at the law offices of Cordova, they
get after it early.
Speaker 1 (07:23):
So we do the next keyword at ten to twenty
this morning and then every hour after that. So today's
kind of a big day in richest world. I just
saw this new story, Tad, do you know what's going on
today in your little alien world?
Speaker 3 (07:41):
But is it is the three Eye at List gonna
invader Earth? That commet?
Speaker 4 (07:45):
Do?
Speaker 3 (07:45):
What have you heard about the three Eye at List comment?
Speaker 1 (07:48):
Well, let me tell you maybe maybe this is what
it is. So an interstellar comment from outside our solar
system has been zipping past us for the past few months.
It's only the third one we've ever seen, and it's big.
Experts say it's about the size of Manhattan, and it's
different than normal sized comments. So all the X files
people are richest people think that maybe it's a mothership.
Speaker 3 (08:10):
That's not a comment. It's moving differently. I think we
talked about this on the show a few weeks ago.
Speaker 1 (08:14):
It's millions of miles away right now, it's on the
other side of the sun. So why is today the day?
They say? Today's the day aliens are going to make
contact today. That's why I bring it up today.
Speaker 4 (08:24):
That's so exciting, right before Halloween. What perfect timing, right,
so spooky.
Speaker 1 (08:29):
It says, basically, here's why today's day. When it reaches
the closest point to the sun, it's called a parillation.
And if aliens today the best day for them changed
course by firing their boosters and using the Sun's grabbed
you like a sling shot. And they know they're Apparently
these people like Rich think that if they know we're watching,
they might shout out and say hi, or try to
(08:50):
destroy us. A guy at Harvard. This is why I
think it's going big time, because a guy at Harvard
like Michael Cardova mm hm, a guy named Avi Low
but has been pushing for the alien theory. He said
last month, because if you're planning a vacation, go before
the twenty ninth. So the comment's been behind the sun
(09:10):
for a few weeks. We won't be able to see
it again for a month or so, so if it
does change course, we probably won't know for a while.
Fans of the theory think there's a chance to ship
already released probes and they're on their way here. Good.
Speaker 3 (09:20):
What's wild? As I guess they cut it on some
Japanese telescopes and it looks like it's got lights on it,
So that's crazy.
Speaker 1 (09:28):
So this is the Harvard guy talking about it right
now is three.
Speaker 6 (09:32):
I atlas alien technology. You can't do the calculation of
the mass in rocks in industry space because this object
is targeting the inner Solar System and you know it
will pass closest to the Sun on October twenty ninth.
I got a text message the other day from someone
who said that he is trading options on the volatility
of the market with an expiration date of October twenty
(09:53):
ninth in order to make money, and I immediately thought
that I don't know if there would be meaning too
money if this object turns it be technological after October
twenty nine. If you want to take a vacation, take
it before that day. Now, it could be a mother
shift that releases mini prods. You know that they come
to earth.
Speaker 3 (10:11):
It's enough of time. You knew who's gonna happen, sooner
or later.
Speaker 1 (10:14):
I'm very impressed and proud of you that you knew
all that, so that you are as authentic that you.
Speaker 3 (10:19):
I really really follow that. I like my YouTube very
populated with three I at list facts right now. So
one thing I heard is that they say that it
could be, like you said, the size of Manhattan. I've
heard this thing could be two thousand miles long, Oh
my god, which would be insane.
Speaker 1 (10:36):
How big is Manhattan? I don't know what that means.
Speaker 3 (10:38):
Manhattan's I think eleven eleven miles maybe. Oh, okay, so
that's a lot shorter.
Speaker 1 (10:41):
Okay. I want to tell you guys about a TV
show I saw yesterday. It's number one movie on Netflix.
You guys, you see that House of Dynamite.
Speaker 3 (10:48):
Started watching it?
Speaker 1 (10:49):
Have you heard of it? Okay? How far are you in?
This is very important? Twenty minutes, twenty.
Speaker 3 (10:56):
Minutes, twenty minutes. I fell asleep, so I can't remember.
Speaker 1 (11:00):
Okay, because for me in describing this show to say,
the first twenty minutes are amazing, it's great, But then
what the show does. So the director of the show
is Catherine Bigelow, who's won Academy Awards for like The
hurt Locker and Zero Dark thirty. Oh so she makes
great movies. And the President of the United States is
(11:22):
played by Idris Elba and he is the most realistic
president I've ever seen in movies, Like I want him
to be president. It's weird because he's from England. He's
got English accents. That's fine, we can have as a president.
So in fact, I'll tell you who else is in
the movie. Peyton. Angel Reese is in the movie.
Speaker 4 (11:36):
Oh that's Autumn Shocked. I haven't heard about that. What
does she do?
Speaker 1 (11:39):
She's a basketball player in the WNBA.
Speaker 4 (11:40):
Oh is she playing herself?
Speaker 1 (11:41):
She plays herself?
Speaker 4 (11:42):
Oh okay. I was like, I feel like we would
see a headline of Angel rees making her acting debut.
Speaker 1 (11:47):
Well, it's still she's in this movie. So here's the thing.
I'm watching this movie and the first twenty minutes are amazing.
So what it is about? It's like, what happens if
we're the United States is being attacked by nuclear missiles? Right,
so what happens? And it's like a serious show. So
they give it to you. The point of view if
you're in the Pentagon of what happens. And so a
(12:08):
missile is being shot to the United States and no
one knows where it came from, and they're like, why
did that happen? And then they try to take out
the missile but our stuff doesn't work, so the missile
is still heading to Chicago. So you see what happens,
like who are the essential people the government takes to
go hide? Right? And then you see how everyone in
the different acts of government act when this is happening.
(12:31):
The first twenty minutes, you're at the edge of your seat.
And then what it does is it starts over the
twenty minutes from someone else's point of view, right, It's
almost kind of like what oh man. Then the third
twenty minutes they start over for someone else's point of view.
Speaker 3 (12:44):
Oh, get that?
Speaker 1 (12:46):
And shit, they do it for two hours.
Speaker 3 (12:48):
Oh my god.
Speaker 4 (12:48):
I don't know if I'd like that.
Speaker 1 (12:49):
And I might ruin this by saying this, but I
don't care. Don't watch the movie because then it just
ends what it just ends. It doesn't there's no closures. Oh,
it started so great, the missile make contact, but I
happened to watch the last twenty minutes when I was
in the sauna, so I couldn't change the channel when
the credits started rolling. So when the credits were rolling,
(13:11):
you just hear messiles crashing, so you kind of it's like.
Speaker 3 (13:15):
Oh man, it started like it looks like Zero Dark thirty,
which was a great movie too. I saw when I started.
I thought I was so into it, and I started
getting tired. I'm like, I need this to have my
full attention, so I paused it before they switched to another.
Speaker 1 (13:27):
You see what it's like. So if you're the president
of the United States, you see So he's on the
helicopter and he has to make a decision.
Speaker 3 (13:33):
It's intense.
Speaker 1 (13:33):
He's like, he's like, uh, I gotta do I attack
our enemies. Russia says they didn't do it. Russia says
China didn't do it. They don't know who did it.
But this messle's coming to the United States. I have
to retaliate. Do I retaliate before they kill us? Or
what if it's a mistake, Like you know what I mean.
So it's like you're in the point of view the
president and it is just ah.
Speaker 3 (13:56):
I was reading some article about it and they said
that it is so accurate to the way the protocol
would work that is scary. I would watch it so
they were it's dead on how things would go.
Speaker 1 (14:08):
I would recommend it just to see that, but I
would I would tell you that the ending is terrible.
Speaker 3 (14:11):
So watch the first twenty minutes and skips to the
terrible ending.
Speaker 1 (14:14):
You gotta watch it all the different twenty minutes because
you see the different points of view of what happens
in the Pentagon, and you see what happens like if
you're in the office and you find out this missile
taking out people in Chicago and you're the head of
the Pentagon, do you call your family in Chicago, and
what do you do? You got six minutes before the
missile hit. It's in real time. That's why the eighteen
minutes is real time when they find out the missiles
being launched. But anyway, there's that, and then if you
(14:37):
want to go to number one on TV, then you
can relact with nobody wants this the stress from the
missile attack in the United States into relationships, stress, good
a rom come. Also the serious premiere or the finale
of Chad Powers was last night. Do you watched out Peyton.
Speaker 4 (14:51):
No, I didn't watch it. I was waiting for it
to drop on hulu' so i'll watch it today.
Speaker 1 (14:55):
It is hlu I watched last night on Hulu.
Speaker 4 (14:56):
Oh, I looked last night and I said it wasn't
I wasn't available until three A. You must have like
the advanced package now.
Speaker 1 (15:02):
I watched it around four.
Speaker 4 (15:03):
Pages for the last episode.
Speaker 1 (15:05):
Yeah, of the season. Oh, it pissed me.
Speaker 4 (15:08):
Off to there's so much stuff going on.
Speaker 1 (15:10):
It pissed me off.
Speaker 4 (15:10):
How are they gonna wrap it up? Episode?
Speaker 3 (15:12):
They don't wrap it up, so they just built in
a season two for no.
Speaker 1 (15:17):
I mean there's the reveal and you find out everyone person,
finds out who Chad Powers is and then it's a
little bit of drama and then it ends. H Yeah,
I was disappointed in that.
Speaker 4 (15:28):
I'll let you know about it when I watch it
later today.
Speaker 1 (15:31):
Oh, we got tickets a Demi Levado an hour from
now Party in the Park because we're right out the corner.
We got tickets to that too. A thousand dollars could
be yours a minute to win it. You got to
keep listening for the queue call. Here's what we're gonna
do for Party in the Park. Tickets. We want to
hear your real ghost stories eight seven, seven, nine three seven,
one oh four seven real ghost stories. Do you live
in a haunted house? Statistics say one in eight people
(15:54):
have lived in a haunted house. One in eight Americans
claim they've lived in a home that was hot at
some point in their life. Here are the top haunted
experiences they say they had. Hearing weird noises. You had that, right, Cale,
Oh yeah, lots of weird noises. Shadowy figures or ghosts,
you had that too, right, objects moving on their own
(16:17):
I had that too. Feelings of being touched, flickering lights. Now,
the poll found most of us would buy a haunted
house if the price is right.
Speaker 3 (16:27):
Why would you want to do that?
Speaker 1 (16:30):
But if there was a known if there was a
famous murder, most people would not buy the house. Yeah, no,
thanks all right. Eight seven seven ninety three seven one
four seven Gabrielle, good.
Speaker 2 (16:39):
Morning, Good morning.
Speaker 1 (16:42):
Did you live in a haunted house?
Speaker 7 (16:44):
I did.
Speaker 5 (16:46):
I grew up in California, and it was my grandparents'
first home that you got passed down, and there was
one room specifically that not a lot of people liked
sleeping in. And I was a teenager at the time,
and I was like, oh, I'll just sleep in there,
and you know, because I don't believe in any of
those stories. And I started, you know, nothing at first,
(17:09):
and then I kept hearing like people talking and like
through in the middle of the night. And we also
lived behind a field, so I would, you know, wake
up and go outside and see if anyone was there,
and there was silence, and I just kept hearing men
talking and it was like close in the room. And
then one day I was trying to find like my
(17:32):
favorite necklace and I could not find it, and I
was looking in the closet and I noticed there was
a hatch underneath and when I opened it and like
it looked like little kid writing it said get out,
and it was like the yeah, and it looked it
was like the like the doorway to go under the house.
(17:52):
And so I thought it was like a cousin because
we used to play prayings all the time. And no
one till this day will ever admit it. But what
got it got me and why I ended up not
sleeping there is I would wake up and my bed
would shake and it would scare the craft out of me,
and no one believed me, and until I had a
(18:14):
cousin come from out of state and she slept in
my room and same thing, and she first thought it
was me, and I, you know, would tell her, no,
it's not me, and then it happened again, so we
both just screamed and got out. Long story short, my
grandpa ended up saying with us he slept in that
(18:35):
room because I didn't want to be in there, and
he would fill people pulling his toes and telling him that,
you know, like it's his time. And like years later,
he ended up passing and it just stopped after that.
Speaker 3 (18:54):
They were there for him.
Speaker 1 (18:55):
He either he either passed away without telling, because it
could have been him playing a joke on guys the
whole time as a grandpa.
Speaker 5 (19:01):
My grandfather lived in a different state. So when we
moved in with us because he was old, yeah, oh.
Speaker 1 (19:09):
Yeah, well hold on, hold on line, hold online, hold online,
that's good, hold on, good freaking out Kyle Victoria, good morning.
You have a haunted house story or ghost story?
Speaker 7 (19:18):
I don't know if I have a haunted house. More so,
I feel like something maybe just follows my husband and
I because we've had weird situations in an apartment that
we lived in before the house that we live in.
And usually my husband thinks that I'm just crazy and that,
you know, I'm just scared of everything, which is also
true because I'm very jumpy. But there was a time
(19:40):
a couple months ago when I was pregnant that I
was already on high alert. I had our bedroom door cracked,
which we leave it open because our room gets kind
of hot, and I was just done brushing my teeth
and I was just going to lay down and we
were talking about something completely different, and the door was cracked,
and I was like, hold on, I'm going to close this.
I just saw something weird and he's like, I saw
(20:00):
it too, and I was like, stop messing with me, Like,
but like, are.
Speaker 2 (20:04):
You being serious?
Speaker 7 (20:05):
What'd you see? Describe it to me so I could
see if we were both saw the same thing. And
he said I saw big sharp teeth and like a
black mask, and I was like, I just saw the
same thing. And it looked like and it sounds so
silly saying it, but it kind of looked like a gargoyle.
Speaker 2 (20:24):
Sort of thing.
Speaker 7 (20:25):
And it was shorter than the doorknob, so it wasn't
very tall, so it's just like maybe three feet and
his description and my description in my head were so accurate,
and I like slammed the door shut. And ever since then,
I think about it every single day in my house.
And I have a baby, so I have to leave
my room to go feed her sometimes at night, and
(20:45):
I'm always thinking about it when I go to the
room and I'm like, well, I have to go feed her,
so it is what it is.
Speaker 4 (20:50):
Oh, I got you keep the room with the gargoyle?
Speaker 3 (20:54):
Yes, yes, baby's got to figure out.
Speaker 6 (21:01):
I know.
Speaker 7 (21:01):
I know my husband wakes My husband wakes up so
early for work too, so I'm like, we're always delirious
walking around and I'm like, do you still think about that?
And he's like yeah, but I just tell the ghost to.
Speaker 2 (21:12):
Leave me alone.
Speaker 7 (21:13):
And I'm like, oh my god, I'm just profusely sweating
twenty four to seven when I'm alone in our house.
I think we had weird encounters in our apartment too,
So I.
Speaker 3 (21:20):
Don't know if it's us or what, whether you're believe
it or not. Wouldn't you want to put like some
you know, crosses and pictures of Jesus everywhere to keep
the gargoles away. I have them.
Speaker 7 (21:28):
I visited my grandma last summer. I got a crucifix
from her house. I have a rosary from the Vatican
hanging right by that door. And that's a rosary in
my baby's room.
Speaker 1 (21:37):
That's a brand named Rosary as I don't I don't
even have a comment because it's so crazy. It's scary
to see it, real garbleous me. I already see them
like on the roof of like weird U churches and
stuff like that.
Speaker 4 (21:49):
