Speaker 1 (00:00):
It's time for the Halloween version of Stacks and Hacks.
(00:03):
Happy Halloween. So they did a little research on the
best slasher movies of all time slasher movies. Who doesn't
love a good slasher. I'm not a fan of the
slasher movies. Can you guys guess which is? Give me
the top five slasher movies of all time. First of all,
(00:26):
I can tell you that two of the top five
movies I have never heard of before.
Speaker 2 (00:30):
Scream I've heard of Scream. Scream is not in the
top ten slasher movies.
Speaker 3 (00:35):
It's like one of the most iconic slasher movies of
all time.
Speaker 2 (00:38):
It is not is Jason on There thirteenth? Friday thirteenth
is not the top ten slasher movie of all time? Wow?
Oh is Texas Chainsawn Massacre?
Speaker 3 (00:50):
A Halloween?
Speaker 1 (00:50):
That is number six of the best slasher movies.
Speaker 2 (00:54):
Of all times. Terrifier No. Number five is.
Speaker 1 (00:57):
A movie called Peeping Tom which just soundsself nom Number
four is psychok Number three is a movie called Black Christmas.
The number two best slasher movie of all time is
A Nightmare on Elm Street. The number one best slasher
movie of all time Halloween the Ridge from nineteen seventy eight.
Speaker 2 (01:16):
That's a good one, but not the best.
Speaker 1 (01:18):
Oh, speaking of slashers, Casey has something kind of cool
that's perfect for Halloween.
Speaker 2 (01:25):
Hello, Casey, Hey, how are you great? I understand you.
I think you had.
Speaker 1 (01:31):
We did a thing about who has owned something that
previously belonged to somebody famous? And I believe yours ties
into halloween and scariness.
Speaker 4 (01:41):
Yes it does.
Speaker 2 (01:42):
What do you have?
Speaker 4 (01:43):
And actually, actually it's my grandfather, but he's getting pretty
old and was sharing a bunch of stories with us,
and he told us about how he was. He worked
at the University of Utah back in the seventies, and
while he was there, he ended up purchasing a typewriter
from one of the law students. And then I'm not
sure how long after, but a little bit what a
(02:04):
little bit later afterwards, he found out that that person
was pegged as a serial killer. So it was actually
Ted Bundy. Yeah, so he he had purchased it from
him with a check. He still has the canceled check,
but you know, other than that, he doesn't have any
proof that it belongs to the guy. But but yeah,
(02:27):
it was pretty cool. He still has that. He still
has the typewriter, and then you know, aside from that,
later on, Ted Bundy actually abducted and murdered my aunt's
best friend.
Speaker 2 (02:39):
From Do you think he was trying to get the
typewriter back?
Speaker 1 (02:43):
No, I'm trying to think why he was like his
aunt's friend.
Speaker 3 (02:49):
Why would you kill my family? I paid your good
money for the typewriter. Your dad should have protested that that.
Speaker 4 (02:54):
Was purely coincidence.
Speaker 3 (02:55):
Wow, how many, Casey did Ted Bundy and they think killing?
Speaker 4 (03:02):
You know, I'm not one hundred percent sure. I think
it was somewhere around sixty that.
Speaker 2 (03:07):
Many.
Speaker 4 (03:08):
Ted Bundy's murder count is right around thirty murders.
Speaker 2 (03:11):
I still have I suspected that he killed as many
as one hundred.
Speaker 1 (03:15):
So yeah, hey, Casey, So I used to work at
the check cashing place. That's how I paid my way
through school when I was in college. And I think
if if if I remember the way checks work, if
your grandfather has to cancel check, I think that would
have his autograph on the back, his signature.
Speaker 2 (03:33):
Didn't you have to sign the back when you cash
a check?
Speaker 4 (03:36):
You know, I'm not sure I'd have to ask him
about that.
Speaker 1 (03:38):
I'm pretty sure that's how it works. So your grandfather
writes a check to Ted Bundy. Ted Bundy takes the
check to the bank and they have him sign the
back of it, and then the bank teller looks and
matches the signature then gives him the money. So if
he has that check, that's proof that that that's the
typewriter that could probably go with one of these museums that.
Speaker 2 (03:56):
Are there's a bunch of them out there now, yeah,
the weird museums.
Speaker 4 (03:59):
Case that's true.
Speaker 1 (04:01):
All right, Well, thanks for sharing that with us, Casey.
Perfect for today. Happy Halloween, same to you. The biggest
Halloween songs in history? What do you think they are?
Speaker 2 (04:13):
Thriller?
Speaker 1 (04:14):
Thriller Kyle unfug is not in the top fifty list,
You're kidding me?
Speaker 3 (04:22):
No? What about I'm Up with Fear that Somebody's that
is number six.
Speaker 1 (04:28):
It got to number two on the top one other list.
But as far as like actually wing the hit Bill
will put together the list of the twenty five biggest
Halloween hits based on the position on the hot one
hundred so Halloween songs, for.
Speaker 2 (04:40):
Example, thriller number one.
Speaker 3 (04:42):
Forever I'm protesting this list.
Speaker 2 (04:46):

Speaker 1 (04:49):

Devil inside being Excess is number ten, Devil with a
Blue Dress is number nine, Black Cat at Jackson Umber's eight.
Speaker 3 (05:02):
Never heard of any of these.
Speaker 1 (05:03):

Speaker 1 (05:10):
Frankenstein Edgar Winner Group that's number three, Ghostbusters, Ray Parker
Junior is number two, and the number one biggest Halloween
song in history, which hit number one?
Speaker 2 (05:22):
Monster? Oh that makes he did the most, definitely makes it.
It actually goes to the Monster Mash. It's a great
dart smash, not like Monster Mash. It's a good one.
Speaker 3 (05:41):
Did you see the Family Guy where they're talking about
how the Monster Match is really the only Halloween song.
The rest of them you you appropriate for Halloween, but
they're just songs. Monster Mash, Halloween Song, Family Guy with
the Wind?
Speaker 2 (05:53):
What do you have for Lafe hacks?
Speaker 4 (05:54):
Rich?
Speaker 3 (05:54):
Okay, So here's a little vampire hack for you for
the late night party in on Halloween. Like if you
stayed out a little late last night, here's a hack
straight from the crypt. Get two Metal spoons metal spoons
and put them in your freezer before bed now in
the morning so you don't look like you've been partying
all night. Put them under your eyes for thirty seconds.
(06:15):
It will shrink the puppiness instantly, so you can look
mostly alive, even if you feel a little undead after Halloween.
That life hack and many more can be found.
Speaker 2 (06:27):
At chun Jay and Rich dot com also gets ready
of your hickeys. Side note, did you know that spoon? No? No,
You hold the cold spoon against your hickey and it's
supposed to make it go away. Bring down the swelling.
We'll do the Rich tomorrow. He's always covered in hickeys.
It's judge it, Mitch
