Rich and I were in Chicago a couple weeks ago
and I told them my wife showed be this thing.
You know, we have this credit card, we have this
America's Press credit card. And I guess airports, certain airports
have if you have a certain credit card, they have

(00:43):
this like I'm, for lack of a better a phrase
of VIP room.

Speaker 3 (00:46):
Yeah, I've seen those, right, So.

Speaker 2 (00:49):
I've gone to them before where I can't get in
because I don't have that credit card, right, But sometimes
I get to an airport early and it's like, man,
if they had this room, it'd be really cool. The
more and more I travel, the more I find some
of these airports have this room. So I'm telling Rich
about this American Express lounge.

Speaker 1 (01:05):
I guess is what it's called. They were in Chicago,
and remember we tried to go in.

Speaker 2 (01:09):
They kicked us out and kicked us out the windows,
said I don't know why the windlass on the one
in Chicago we couldn't get in. So I'm in Los
Angeles two days ago, and then I'm in Los Angeles
again yesterday just for the day and my sister drops
me up at the airport about an hour and a half,
two hours before my flight, and I tried I go
into one of the rooms and it's not it's an

(01:30):
I have America Express and it's not americ Express.

Speaker 1 (01:32):
It's some car and I never heard of it before,
Centurion or something like that.

Speaker 2 (01:35):
It was a different one or something else, and it
was called the Admiral's Lounge and I couldn't get in,
and I was like, dang, So I google where's the
American Express Lounge and it tells me where it's in
the Tom Bradley part of the airport, Like where's that?
So it's it's I still got to get my steps in,
so I go to that part and I find it
and they check, you get the credit card.

Speaker 1 (01:53):
You show them the credit card and they let you in.
And I'm like, this is great.

Speaker 2 (01:56):
And let me just tell you, guys, if you've never
been in it before, it was better than Thanksgiving. What's
there's open bars, it's beautiful.

Speaker 1 (02:05):
You could see like the.

Speaker 2 (02:06):
Airplane's taking off and landing, and it's like free drinks,
free alcohol. There's a nap room, there's a there's showers,
there's all So yesterday, I'm sitting there and I get
the buffet has unlimited meat loaf and it's good quality
meat loaf, unlimited mashed potatoes, chocolate ship cookies, brownies. It

(02:27):
was the best food ever, better than my Thanksgiving. And
I ate so much food. I'm like, this is something,
texting Blake like I should put a screenshot of my
TEXTI Blake because I'm like, this place is unbelievable, and
I know that makes sure. And then they had a
nap room, so I tried. There was but the nap room,
all of them were taking out. They people were taking naps,
and I actually some guy was on his phone. He

(02:47):
wasn't really on his nap. I kind of thought, man,
you need get any another and we take a spot.
So anyway, I'm waiting in this other room and I'm
eating chocolate. I had so many chocouip cookies and bounties
and Omeal cookies and I'm just sitting there think this.

Speaker 1 (02:58):
Is the best place ever I could live here? Do
they ever? Was it down?

Speaker 2 (03:00):
How did this thing stay open during COVID because it's free,
you know, I don't get it. So next thing, you know,
my flights in five minutes.

Speaker 1 (03:07):
Whoops.

Speaker 2 (03:08):
I forgot that. I was so involved in the food
and I was thanksgiving full.

Speaker 1 (03:14):
You know. It was you can't take off running after that,
I saw. But I did take off running and I
barely made it to my flight. It was so far away.

Speaker 3 (03:21):
I wonder how many people take a nap and miss
their flight.

Speaker 1 (03:24):
I know it has to have it because it was
so wonderful.

Speaker 4 (03:26):
You would think that they would, like the people that
are working back there, would maybe take like account of
who's back their napping, and maybe they would tell them.

Speaker 2 (03:33):
No, they don't care, No, they don't care, because I
have asked for some I asked them stuff and they
were like, what's this room for nappy?

Speaker 1 (03:39):
What's this room for chilling out. Like they were like
irritated with me.

Speaker 5 (03:43):
They're like, you should just be happy. We have unlimited
meat loafts, sir, what chilling out? I mean, that's a
great cell right there. Whatever that cost to get in there,
unlimited meat if that's strong.

Speaker 1 (03:55):
It doesn't cost anything. You just have to ca you're sure,
I'm pleasant.

Speaker 3 (03:59):
Is there now a on your credit card you know about?

Speaker 2 (04:02):
No, there's not, because I've done it. I've done it
in other cities. I did it in ken Kun. I
think when I was in kN Kun they have one.
The food's not that great. It's okay, but not as
good as La was freaking fantastic. It's just I thought
it'd be great to go there like today. That just
because I'm sure they have one here to go to

(04:22):
the airport here, but you have to show that you
have you're getting on a plane.

Speaker 3 (04:26):
Probably have to get through security.

Speaker 5 (04:27):
Yeah, just give ticket to the cheapest place, ticket refund it. Yeah,
I'm sure. It's like thirty four hours has.

Speaker 2 (04:33):
To be a scam around it, because there's a way.
It's so good and it's free anyway, Uh, TV, let's
go around. Who's watching one on TV?

Speaker 6 (04:42):
I just finished season one of the Secret Lives of
Mormon Wives. I started season Two's amazing. I think they
just released the third season. So I like it because,
like right now, some of the other shows that I'm watching,
like land Man, they only give me one episode a week,
All's fair. The Kim Kardashian Show only on episode a week.
There's already three seasons in this out, so I could

(05:03):
just binge watch and I love that.

Speaker 3 (05:05):
And it's very juicy and it lives up to all
the hyph Oh yeah.

Speaker 5 (05:08):
They have the best fights of any TV reality show
that I've seen.

Speaker 1 (05:11):
Better than the Real Housewives.

Speaker 6 (05:13):
Better than the Real Well, I would just say it's equivalent.
It's really good guilty pleasure watching.

Speaker 5 (05:19):
Yes, and they get obsessed over like a like one,
like well, you hit on this guy, and so they
will just go after they will like tear each other apart.

Speaker 1 (05:27):
It's so good.

Speaker 5 (05:28):
So just like Real Housewives, Yeah, yes, but because they're
you know, they're Mormon wife.

Speaker 1 (05:34):
What do you watching, Payton?

Speaker 4 (05:35):
I started this new movie it's called Oh What Fun.
It's on Amazon Prime and it's basically like a Christmas
movie and the main character is Michelle Fie. First, she
plays the mom, and it basically just highlights how like
the moms really are like the core of the holidays,
how they're always doing the presence and rapping and bringing
all the holidays here. And I've only gone halfway through,

(05:56):
but I really like it. It's cute, it's funny. Chloe Grace
Moretz is in. Did you watch it?

Speaker 3 (06:00):
No, I just said it sounds cute.

Speaker 4 (06:02):
Yeah, it's so cute, and so I'm into it. I'm
gonna go home and finish it. And I don't really
like I'm not really like a Christmas movie.

Speaker 5 (06:08):
Girl, you should be, because I really like it. And
did you see The New Family Guy? That's the Hallmark
I saw last week. I watched that last night.

Speaker 1 (06:14):
Hall Mark, Hulu, Disney Plus. I thought it was really cute.
Did you see the ending? Yes?

Speaker 5 (06:18):
And he's out of control. It's out of control. It's very,
very very inappropriate. Angie, good morning, Hi, Good morning, Hi.

Are You A Charlotte?

Are You A Charlotte?

In 1997, actress Kristin Davis’ life was forever changed when she took on the role of Charlotte York in Sex and the City. As we watched Carrie, Samantha, Miranda and Charlotte navigate relationships in NYC, the show helped push once unacceptable conversation topics out of the shadows and altered the narrative around women and sex. We all saw ourselves in them as they searched for fulfillment in life, sex and friendships. Now, Kristin Davis wants to connect with you, the fans, and share untold stories and all the behind the scenes. Together, with Kristin and special guests, what will begin with Sex and the City will evolve into talks about themes that are still so relevant today. "Are you a Charlotte?" is much more than just rewatching this beloved show, it brings the past and the present together as we talk with heart, humor and of course some optimism.
