Speaker 2 (00:40):
Let's get an update on your wedding venue search.
Speaker 7 (00:43):
Yeah, well, actually I feel like I have some good
news because Kadem and I we officially went to go
like physically tour a venue and this spot that we
found is like absolutely stunning.
Speaker 8 (00:54):
And now it was, like I was just telling you
guys the other day.
Speaker 7 (00:56):
Wedding planning is not fun at all, But when you
get to go and envision yourself in those moments, it absolutely,
one hundred percent is so much fun.
Speaker 9 (01:04):
Yeah, wait till you get do food tasting.
Speaker 2 (01:07):
Where a bill? You guys, the bill.
Speaker 8 (01:11):
Has already kind of given me a whole bill.
Speaker 4 (01:14):
Well, what kind of place if you don't wearing it,
Like if you don't say exactly where, but what kind
of place?
Speaker 7 (01:19):
It's like a country club kind of how we can't say,
I can't say it.
Speaker 3 (01:23):
Oh, don't don't. I'm just kidding.
Speaker 2 (01:24):
Oh, I don't mind.
Speaker 8 (01:25):
I could.
Speaker 9 (01:25):
I don't like, are we saying it? Are we not
saying it before you say it?
Speaker 3 (01:29):
Before you say it? Does know what it is?
Speaker 8 (01:31):
No, I don't know.
Speaker 2 (01:32):
You don't even know what it is.
Speaker 1 (01:33):
No.
Speaker 10 (01:33):
I knew where she went the other day, but I don't.
I thought I thought you were going to.
Speaker 9 (01:37):
No, it wasn't a country club was the last one
I heard you were going to.
Speaker 8 (01:40):
But where is it?
Speaker 7 (01:41):
It's in Cantera, my friend got mary.
Speaker 9 (01:44):
There was gorgeous.
Speaker 10 (01:47):
You've never heard of it, oh, because it's I mean,
it's way outside your bubble.
Speaker 9 (01:50):
It's outside of our bubble.
Speaker 7 (01:52):
It's considered Queen Creek and basically it's a neighborhood.
Speaker 8 (01:55):
It's like its own little community.
Speaker 7 (01:57):
It's a neighborhood and it's within this golf course, but
you can only be a member of the golf course
if you live there. So it's this super quiet point area.
It fits more than enough people that we need. There's
so many room for activities.
Speaker 2 (02:10):
I'm really excited.
Speaker 3 (02:10):
So it's not a.
Speaker 7 (02:12):
Done deal where I'm still having to like work out
our budget and whatnot.
Speaker 3 (02:16):
How'd you get in if you're not a member?
Speaker 7 (02:17):
Well, I reached out to them saying, hey, I want
to come for a venue tour.
Speaker 10 (02:21):
Oh you you can't be a member at the golf
course there unless she lives in there. But I think
it still rent out their facilities if you're not a member.
Speaker 8 (02:29):
Yeah, so we have to like iron out some stuff.
Speaker 7 (02:31):
It was really interesting though to see the number break
down and where that falls, and basically more than half
of what the estimate price you gave us with liquor
and alcohol. So I'm like, we want it to be
a huge party, but do I want to spend you know, X,
Y and Z on a bunch of liquor? Probably, but
probably you know what I mean. So it's like that's
(02:52):
kind of what we're battling with. How we're going to
kind dwindle down our budget, but I would absolutely love
it if I was there. We're also going to go
tour Caesar's repub Bok next week, the new one that
just opened up in Scottsdale.
Speaker 2 (03:04):
There you go, that's closer. That's more than that's not
a travel destination, it's.
Speaker 8 (03:09):
Just a drive.
Speaker 9 (03:09):
Well, so did they have your date available?
Speaker 8 (03:12):
They didn't have my day?
Speaker 9 (03:13):
Okay, so you would have to change your I.
Speaker 7 (03:15):
Would, but Caesars we public might possibly have some space
for me to do it on that said date. So
it's kind of a battle between the two.
Speaker 2 (03:22):
Is a season Republic where the vander Pump open their restaurant.
Speaker 9 (03:25):
Yeah, restaurant, Come on, it's happening either one.
Speaker 7 (03:30):
We can totally envision ourselves getting married there. But we're
we're flexible on the date, like we said. But also,
you know, I think it could be fun to do
something in old town.
Speaker 4 (03:39):
It's like a big party.
Speaker 2 (03:40):
If you do it in Queen Creek, I would suggest
you also do a live stream.
Speaker 7 (03:44):
Because there you will drive there, John Jay, it would
be a trip for you, John Jay.
Speaker 8 (03:51):
It's probably about an hour.
Speaker 9 (03:52):
Yeah, and that's a very good estimation.
Speaker 4 (03:55):
I live in the Creek. And it takes me about
twenty minutes to get there. That's how far out of it.
Speaker 6 (03:58):
You know what.
Speaker 2 (03:59):
I will say this as you're still looking, and I
don't know if this has come up. My niece got
married at place that I was not expecting you. When
I went there, I thought it was freaking awesome. It
was in Apache Junction. Do you know the place to
talking about is? I don't know what to look like.
Speaker 3 (04:12):
What is it?
Speaker 8 (04:12):
It's kind of like it's where Nick got married.
Speaker 3 (04:15):
I didn't go to next wedding.
Speaker 2 (04:17):
Out door?
Speaker 7 (04:18):
Are the ceremony it faces? I think, superstition mountains, I think,
and then it's like a barn on the end.
Speaker 4 (04:23):
Yeah that was great.
Speaker 2 (04:25):
Oh man, I wish I would have gone.
Speaker 8 (04:26):
I was stunning. Actually, my son and.
Speaker 9 (04:27):
Bieber got married there too.
Speaker 10 (04:29):
Justin Bieber did oh you were at that wedding?
Speaker 2 (04:34):
That's you said, Justin Weaver.
Speaker 7 (04:37):
My sister is actually really good friends with the owners
of the pse She went to high school with them.
Speaker 8 (04:42):
They're like all family, but they don't have my date
available in.
Speaker 7 (04:47):
Yea, Caesar's Republic and the Paseo all kind of in
the conversation, So I'm really excited.
Speaker 3 (04:53):
Good good, good. We'll keep us posted.
Speaker 2 (04:55):
Please Kyle, Let's get an update on Kyle's and this
is very very important because she's way behind in their
vision board for twenty twenty six.
Speaker 10 (05:02):
Actually, I'm way ahead of where I normally normally are doing. Yeah, normally,
I'm like doing this, you know, the mid month, end
of the month.
Speaker 9 (05:10):
But my vision board is almost done. So basically all
of the goals.
Speaker 10 (05:17):
And visions for the year and future are are on
the page.
Speaker 9 (05:21):
You cut and paste them.
Speaker 10 (05:23):
But I did do I'm doing something a little different
with my vision board this year that I've never done before,
and this is why I say it's almost done.
Speaker 9 (05:29):
But there is one.
Speaker 10 (05:30):
Thing that I cut out and paste because I got
one of those like vision board magazines, and it was
really cool because one of the things in it says
things I want to accomplish this year, and it's a
list that you fill in with like your resolutions, so
I have to physically write them in and I'm not
done writing my resolutions, so once I'm done with.
Speaker 9 (05:48):
That, I'll write it on there.
Speaker 10 (05:49):
And I bought instead of just doing it on like
a poster board, I bought these little frames at the
Dollar store and so I'm going to put the glass
over it, put it in the frame, and hang it
on the way wall right by where the garage door is,
so I see it every time I go in and.
Speaker 9 (06:04):
Out of the house.
Speaker 3 (06:04):
That's good.
Speaker 10 (06:05):
So that's like the whole point of the vision board, right,
Like you put all these things in goals and motivation
where you can visually be reminded of them.
Speaker 9 (06:13):
So that's my goal.
Speaker 3 (06:14):
So I used to have my goals written down to
my walle In fact, I still do.
Speaker 2 (06:17):
I put in my wallet because I thought, every day
you're always getting money out, you're looking at your wallet
and I would see my goals and it worked for
a long time. And now I really ever pull out
my wallet. I still have my goals written in there,
you know what I mean. Your phone all the.
Speaker 10 (06:30):
Time, and in the last couple of years, I've put
my I've actually done my vision board inside my planner.
Speaker 9 (06:36):
And now I've noticed that, oh yeah, that's cool. By June,
I don't use my planner anymore. So I'm like, I
got to try something new and different this year. Although
you know how it works out.
Speaker 10 (06:46):
But it was really cute because Addie and Easton, my
two kids, they wanted to join in on the vision
board fund sweet and yeah, Addie did it with.
Speaker 9 (06:54):
Me last year.
Speaker 10 (06:55):
This was Easton's first year, but it was cube because
he was literally writing his goals down and the first
goal that he wrote like, he got a miniature field
goal post that we have in the backyard and his
first goal was kick a fifty yard field goal.
Speaker 4 (07:10):
Wow.
Speaker 9 (07:11):
And he wrote that down and just went outside and
started kicking the film.
Speaker 10 (07:15):
This is not done yet, but I love like it
was like it was almost.
Speaker 9 (07:19):
Like he's got his goal.
Speaker 10 (07:20):
He's like, WELLY, might as well just go work on
that now. I'll come back to this later.
Speaker 9 (07:24):
But it was really fine. I have everyone in all
except Scott. He like, I was like, you want to
do a vision board with this? I got you a
frame and he's like, uh no, why not? Is not
my thing?
Speaker 8 (07:34):
Okay, that's what okay.
Speaker 7 (07:35):
I feel like Kadeem and Fish are kind of the
same in that aspect. But a couple of years back,
I did a drunken vision night board with my maid
of Honor and Kadem was there with one of his
friends and we finished it and we were like, oh,
we're kind of tipsy, We're going to present our vision
boards to you and at the end both of them
who are also tips, who were.
Speaker 8 (07:54):
Like, man, I wish we did a vision board.
Speaker 9 (07:56):
Yeah, you just got aresented to him. Yeah, you got
it in a different way.
Speaker 7 (08:01):
Yeah, that's a good idea participate, that's.
Speaker 8 (08:05):
The life hack to our men. You get a little
bit of liquid courage.
Speaker 3 (08:08):
They made a division board. They didn't participate.
Speaker 2 (08:11):
Okay, thank you very much, all all three of you,
thanks for coming in today, John Day.
Speaker 10 (08:16):
And Rich and Rich all the show at eight seven
seven nine seven seven.
Speaker 3 (08:22):
Peyton's predictions. Peyton, what is the vibe?
Speaker 8 (08:24):
I'm gonna let you know your why?
Speaker 7 (08:26):
Am I like this personality trait based on your zodiac sign?
And if it is your birthday today, you are a Capricorn.
You share a birthday with Nina do Bread, Kate, Middleton, Flow,
Millie and that's okay.
Speaker 2 (08:37):
And if it's your birthday today, you're a Capricorn. And
what's the reading for Capricorn?
Speaker 8 (08:40):
Yeah, so Gabrigorn's your why? Am I like this?
Speaker 7 (08:43):
Trait? Is turning everything into responsibility, including your rust time.
You feel productive, being busy and uncomfortable doing nothing, So
just going further into the year, make sure that you
prioritize your sleep.
Speaker 2 (08:56):
Okay, good morning, Linda. What is your sign? Linda, Yes,
I'm or Are you a pharmacist?
Speaker 1 (09:06):
No?
Speaker 3 (09:06):
Oh, I just heard prescription in the back.
Speaker 1 (09:08):
Oh I'm trying to check in for an eye up one.
Speaker 2 (09:12):
Okay, okay, Well, the goodness is you got some good
good stuff in your future. We see Yeah for Taurus.
Speaker 7 (09:18):
I'm gonna let you know what your why am I
like this tree is? And yours is basically refusing to
change once you're comfortable, even if you're low key unhappy.
So you'll just stays slowly and complaint enough to feel heard.
But going into the rest of the year, definitely dig
your heels in and demand respect.
Speaker 8 (09:34):
Okay, thank you, you're welcome.
Speaker 2 (09:38):
Thanks Cory, good good guys, by Linda, have a great
day with your eyes. Oh good Blue, Hello, Corey, Hello,
good morning. What's your sign? I am a Gemini?
Speaker 7 (09:52):
Okay, Gemini's your why am I like this tree? Is
having five moods before noon and meaning all of them.
You can talk yourself into something, out of it, and
back again in one conversation. So going into the rest
of the year, just try to stick to one plan,
go through with it and usually it'll work.
Speaker 8 (10:07):
Out for you.
Speaker 11 (10:10):
Sounded that right, Yep, Corey, have a great day. Awesome,
Thank you guys.
Speaker 8 (10:17):
How about yeah, pisces for you Rich?
Speaker 7 (10:21):
Your why am I like this tree is you romanticize
people in situations before they earn it. You see potential
everywhere and sometimes ignore the red flags waving right at you.
So going into the rest of the year, make sure
that you are proceeding with caution, because not everybody is
as good as they seem.
Speaker 4 (10:38):
Like I give everybody, you know, those stickers with the
stars on them, hand on all your stars for good
work before you even meet anybody.
Speaker 7 (10:46):
Yeah, just stop giving out the flowers to people who
don't deserve them yet.
Speaker 2 (10:49):
You know those things you put on your face at
pimples and yeah, if they like to have that attitude,
be like you. Someone's got bad acting. You don't know
how to handle it. Your coworkers, you go, I'm giving
you a good star today.
Speaker 12 (11:01):
For him.
Speaker 2 (11:02):
Here you go, but.
Speaker 10 (11:04):
Right here, specifically.
Speaker 7 (11:07):
Kyle, Your why am I like this trait is avoiding
decisions and then being annoyed with the outcome. You want peace,
but you also want things to just magically go your way.
Speaker 8 (11:16):
You can't get both.
Speaker 7 (11:17):
So going into the rest of the year, make sure
that you make that decision and you stick with it.
Speaker 10 (11:21):
It's funny because there was some there was a little
clip when we were putting together our vision boards that.
Speaker 9 (11:27):
Said things just go my way, and I almost put
it on there. I almost put it on there.
Speaker 7 (11:34):
How about Virgos Virgo jan Jay or why am I
like this? Strait? Is you overthink things that already happened,
like you can go back and edit them. You replay
conversations text in moments long after everyone else has moved
on from it. So going into the rest of the year,
just remind yourself it's okay, not that deep.
Speaker 4 (11:52):
I've never seen John J move on.
Speaker 13 (11:57):
That.
Speaker 7 (11:58):
Yeah, I'm a Leo le are Why am I like this?
Trait is needing attention while pretending that we don't. We're
confident on our own, but if we're being real, it
hits different when someone else's notice. But going into the
rest of the year, Leo's remind yourself that you don't
need validation from anybody but yourself.
Speaker 2 (12:15):
All right, if we can get your sign there, I'll
post it on our website. John Jynrich dot com.
Speaker 3 (12:19):
If this World.
Speaker 2 (12:21):
The Man John Jane Rich Chris Go was up here
on the air.
Speaker 11 (12:24):
I wanted to give you as a call about the
celebrity run ins you were talking about yesterday.
Speaker 2 (12:29):
I was having a hypothetical hypothetical celebrity run ins like
if how would I react if I met somebody famous? Right,
and how would I I want to film them? And
then people started calling with real random celebrity run ins,
and you had one.
Speaker 7 (12:43):
Yeah.
Speaker 11 (12:43):
I was actually uh coming back from black Staff to
the Valley and I pulled off at Corteris Junction. I
was getting a gas and I had walked in, went
to the bathroom, was coming out coming out, and I
passed the guy and he looked familiar, but I'm not
really into what he does for a living. But he
had passed by men. He goes, hey, little man, where's
(13:05):
the bathroom hat? And I looked at him and I pointed,
and I kind of like kind a smirk on my fingers.
Because I'm a female, I.
Speaker 7 (13:12):
Did that shore hair.
Speaker 13 (13:15):
Ri.
Speaker 11 (13:20):
So I walked back to my my my vehicle at
the time, and I was getting gasped and I was
looking at I was like, man, he looks familiar. And
I was texting my cousin and everything. They were laughing
about it, and he comes down. A couple of people
shopped him and they asked for pictures with him. So
I went and googled him because I seen him get
into a vehicle and the license plate said Mayweather and
(13:40):
it was Floyd Mayweather.
Speaker 9 (13:42):
Oh my god, yeah, so how can you say that?
Christ is not a little man?
Speaker 11 (13:53):
I'm fire poor, hey, little man, he's a little He's
a little taller than me. It was just funny. But
I also look young, so I think he could.
Speaker 1 (14:04):
You know, you're a kid.
Speaker 7 (14:09):
Hey, I thought Floyd Bayweather was a little bits.
Speaker 3 (14:15):
You got a good sense to hear about it, Chris go,
that's awesome.
Speaker 11 (14:19):
Yeah, no, I laughed pretty good. And I actually had
forgotten about it until I heard you just talking, and
I was like, I gotta tell my story because it
was it was pretty funny. I'm not really into boxing,
but a lot of my friends they were like, you
didn't get a picture. I was like, I didn't know
who he was.
Speaker 2 (14:32):
You're like, hold on a second, who is that guy?
His license plate says Floyd Mayweather. Let me google it, Hey,
tursts out when you google Floyd Mayweather. It's Floyd Mayweather.
Speaker 3 (14:46):
Thanks Chrisco. Thanks for sharing that with us.
Speaker 2 (14:48):
Have a great day.
Speaker 7 (14:50):
You should.
Speaker 3 (14:51):
Everyone's taking pictures of this.
Speaker 2 (14:52):
Guy and last day and then please said Tom Cruise,
Tom Cruise, Hey little man, that made by day.
Speaker 8 (15:00):
Oh Petislafty you love me?
Speaker 2 (15:02):

Speaker 14 (15:28):

my daughter. She's going to be doing her final face
to face interview for Delta Airlines on the thirteenth and
she could really really use some positive vibes sent her way.
Her name's Ashland and she lives in Montana and she's
flying to Atlanta for the interview.
Speaker 9 (15:49):
Thanks good luck, Ashlyn, you got this.
Speaker 8 (15:53):
That's such a fun job to havesk.
Speaker 10 (15:56):
I wanted to do that back in the day, and
I went to like I went to this I don't know.
Speaker 9 (16:02):
It was like a what do you call it?
Speaker 10 (16:03):
Where there are a bunch of people and they're addressing
the people and I was one of the people.
Speaker 2 (16:07):
No at the at the job like, no, oh, job fair.
Speaker 10 (16:12):
Kind of kind of let's just call it that. Anyways,
I passed out, so I knew I didn't get that job.
Speaker 3 (16:17):
You passed out because nervousness.
Speaker 9 (16:19):
I don't know.
Speaker 10 (16:20):
I was kind of passing out a lot at that
time in my life. So it was a health It
was a health thing I had.
Speaker 2 (16:27):
We were talking about this before I'd wear a.
Speaker 9 (16:28):
Heart monitor for like three months.
Speaker 2 (16:31):
What, oh my god, we're just talking about how I
with my wife for so many years. I feel like
I know they Peytons with five years of boyfriend learned
to we've been with you for like eighteen years and
now we're just art monitor.
Speaker 4 (16:44):
I did know you passed out. I don't think I
knew you were wearing a heart monitor.
Speaker 9 (16:47):
Yeah.
Speaker 10 (16:47):
After that, because I was passing out so much, they
wanted to make sure that nothing was wrong with me,
because I.
Speaker 9 (16:53):
Had a heart murmur on my way to the hospital
when I passed out at the thing where I was
trying to be a flight attendant. Anyways, it was fine,
they didn't find anything.
Speaker 4 (17:02):
I'm good.
Speaker 9 (17:03):
I'm still kicking.
Speaker 7 (17:04):
Guys.
Speaker 3 (17:04):
Do you haven't passed out since?
Speaker 6 (17:06):
No?
Speaker 10 (17:06):
I think what the real problem was was with I
was picked taking diet pills and it was messing with
my heart.
Speaker 9 (17:12):
And so I stuffed that and then I'm good and
I don't pass out anywhere.
Speaker 2 (17:16):
True that I've been there. That's cool, that's relatable. Not cool,
that's relatable though, Like as far as diet bills.
Speaker 9 (17:21):
Go back in the day, Yeah, it was it was zenagery,
remember that.
Speaker 2 (17:24):
Yeah, that's basically like speed.
Speaker 9 (17:26):
Yeah, like, hey, what's up, I'm ready to go's it's awesome.
Speaker 10 (17:30):
Your heart's fine now, my heart as far as I know,
no issues.
Speaker 2 (17:35):
Wow, man, you learned something new about people every day.
I mean everyone saw a page drops that she was
in a mental institution. Yea, that still shocks me. Now
you hear Kyle had heart problems. But anyway, what's up?
Speaker 1 (17:48):
John, Jay and Rich. So we're watching Vivo, which is
a bunch of music videos and we're drunk and like,
we don't know any of the words. So we were
doing John Jay's You can probably hear it.
Speaker 11 (18:06):
I wanaly with you, waname.
Speaker 1 (18:16):
See your everything, man.
Speaker 11 (18:26):
John Jay, we feel you. We don't know the words, at.
Speaker 3 (18:32):
Least they don't know the words together.
Speaker 2 (18:33):
And it sounds like they're singing that whatever the words
are the same way.
Speaker 4 (18:37):
Does anybody know what song that was? I think I
know what song that was? What I think they were
doing Savage Card? Ye oh my god, you forever? Is
that what it is?
Speaker 2 (18:46):
It sounds like that you said. At first, I thought
it some sort of country song that I've never heard.
So like, next time you go to the you know
what that tells me listening to that message. And this
is very I think powerful and important because something big
happened in the world a couple of days ago, said
MTV shut down, I know. And here they are desperate
for music videos and they go to Vivo.
Speaker 3 (19:06):
Is that an app?
Speaker 7 (19:07):
Well it's on YouTube, Like if you that's how you
know that it's the official music video. If it's his
Vivo in the corner, You're like.
Speaker 8 (19:13):
Oh yeah, this is the real thing.
Speaker 2 (19:14):
Oh wow, Wow, because there's no MTV shame. That's a bummer.
That's a powerful that's a powerful voicemail. We just got
you need to fill in need Two things well, back
to back that are very powerful, Kyle's Hart and music videos.
Speaker 12 (19:29):
Well, welcome back twenty twenty six Sunday Night, and listen
to the radio ninety six mix.
Speaker 2 (19:35):
Who's d jan.
Speaker 4 (19:37):
Nick Johnson producer Nick what the.
Speaker 6 (19:43):
Introducing new songs by?
Speaker 15 (19:45):
It's a Google dolls very true?
Speaker 2 (19:51):
Is that it? Yeah? Nick sometimes jumps on the other
radio station. Does are you do? Say Nick Johnson? Or
are you hey? This is Nick from John Jaye Rich.
Speaker 15 (20:00):
I do this really annoying thing, and I've been told
not to, but I always go.
Speaker 2 (20:05):
It's Sunday Night Nicks ninety six nine.
Speaker 15 (20:10):
I like that clever you know, clever funny guy.
Speaker 2 (20:17):
Yeah, anyway, that's how it works. That's a drunk down
lounge six two eight eight, nineteen thirty three. Or the
talkback feature on the free iHeartRadio app. You check in
with John jay and Rich can hit the top that
micxcept for stacks and hacks. I have stacks of information.
Rich has life hacks.
Speaker 3 (20:37):
Picture of this. I think this is hilarious.
Speaker 2 (20:41):
A shopping mall in China has added windows to their
public bathroom stalls that become clear if you light a
cigarette in there.
Speaker 4 (20:50):
Oh really Yeah, it's like the if you peed the
pool it turns purple. Yeah, we all thought was real.
Speaker 2 (20:57):
It detects smokes, the smoke the glasgow from frosted to clear,
and people can see you smoking or whatever else you're
doing in there, and then a loud audio message goes
up broadcast to everyone. This is a public place where
smoking is prohibited. For your own health and the health
of others, Please do not smoke in here.
Speaker 7 (21:13):
Honestly, I feel like we do need to bring back
a little bit of public chain.
Speaker 2 (21:16):
Yeah, that would just be hilarious to see that.
Speaker 4 (21:20):
I should do it for people who skip washing their
hands after they use these stalls too, Like this person
has peepy hands.
Speaker 9 (21:26):
It'd be so embarrassing.
Speaker 2 (21:27):
But if you're there smoking and you're like, I'm go smoking,
then you also you're looking at everybody in the food
court staring at you.
Speaker 8 (21:32):
Oh.
Speaker 2 (21:33):
Matthew McConaughey was a guest on Woody Harrelson and Ted
Dance's podcast. I didn't know they had one and he
said he can no longer smoke pot with Woody Harrelson.
Here's why the news.
Speaker 16 (21:45):
Stuff does not agree with my constitution and my mental makeup.
It goes the other way. Time speeds up for me.
I've chipped front two three times. Falling out of a
tree on a full moon.
Speaker 2 (21:58):
Wow, that stuff, that's whatever.
Speaker 8 (22:03):
What he has is probably lace behind.
Speaker 9 (22:06):
It's probably not.
Speaker 2 (22:11):
Times Sparkle magic. You're at a park with your family
and Matthew mc kind of falls out of a tree.
Speaker 3 (22:17):
Hey, it's Matthew McConaughey.
Speaker 4 (22:20):
That's where you want to run into somebody with your
phone right there. J Matthew a.
Speaker 2 (22:27):
Doctor OZ spoke through a press conference on dietary guidelines
the other day, and I thought this was really interesting
as far as drinking alcohol.
Speaker 17 (22:35):
So alcohol is a social lubricant that brings people together.
In the best case scenario, I don't think you should
drink alcohol, but it does allow people an excuse to
bond and socialize, and there's probably nothing healthier.
Speaker 2 (22:47):
They're having a good time with friends in a safe way.
Speaker 17 (22:49):
If you look at the blue zones, for example, around
the world, where people live the longest, alcohol is sometimes
part of their diet again small amounts, but the implication
is don't have it for breakfast. Should be something done
small amounts with hopefully in some kind of an event
that men have alcohol added. But they general move away
from two glasses of men in one glass of wind.
There was never really good data to support that that
(23:11):
quantity of alcohol consumption.
Speaker 2 (23:13):
You're nothing healthier in the world than have an alcohol
with friends, what he said. Wallet hub dot com says
the best cities for jobs in twenty twenty six. The
number one best city Scottsdale, Arizona, Florida, rejected one hundred
and thirty vanity plates requests last year for being too racy,
(23:34):
creative spellings of the F word, and they shot them down.
Speaker 9 (23:38):
They can't do that.
Speaker 2 (23:40):
Are you more afraid of looking older or feeling older?
Anybody in the room? Kyle Peyton rich King, feeling seventy
percent said feeling older.
Speaker 9 (23:51):
You can ask the pain.
Speaker 3 (23:57):
I mean, you make a great point, rich really for
life hacks. All right, I'm.
Speaker 4 (24:02):
Gonna tell you about the three minute reset hacks. So
you get in that part of the week where you're like,
oh my god, I can't believe it's the end of
the week and I am having an energy crisis. You
don't need caffeine. You need to do three things. You
can even set a time or three tiny things. Minute
one move around, that's marching in place, stretching, shake out
your arms, anything to get your blood movie. Now it's
(24:22):
an important one minute. Two clear, delete a couple of emails,
throw away one piece of clutter, cross off one tiny
thing off your to do lists, because it makes you
feel like you're making progress. And then the third minute,
think about something that's coming up that you're excited about.
You know, for you, Peyton, it could be the wedding,
(24:43):
or it could be the weekend, or John Jay, it
could be somebody who canceled plans.
Speaker 3 (24:47):
On you that that just happened to me.
Speaker 4 (24:48):
It just happened to you. So great, so great, and
then they canceled.
Speaker 2 (24:53):
I had plans that were going to take up four
days in a row of my time, four days in
a row. And I've known about it for si six
months and I got a text at eleven o'clock at
night saying it's canceled.
Speaker 3 (25:04):
I was so happy, so happy. It was wonderful.
Speaker 4 (25:08):
Well, see I have so much energy because of it.
There you go, I have months of energy, new energy,
the weak feels lighter. Those life hacks can be found
at John Jindrich dot com.
Speaker 2 (25:18):
It's Friday and that means new music and this one
is huge. Earlier this week, Brunomar's announced he had new
music on the way. Yesterday he announced his stadium tour,
and right now we have his first single.
Speaker 3 (25:31):
It's called I Just Might.
Speaker 2 (25:33):
I've heard fifteen seconds of this song and this might
be my favorite song so far. It's definitely my favorite
song of twenty twenty six. Ah, we're gonna play it
all day long. As a matter of fact, we got
free tickets to Bruno because he'll be here April fourteenth.
We got your free tickets, but we're looking for something specific. Okay,
I want you to listen to the Bruno song. Then
(25:53):
call us at eight seven seven nine three seven, one
oh four seven. We want to hear your review and
maybe you'll get ticks. It's new Bruno Mars right now,
I Heeart Radio World premire.
Speaker 17 (26:04):
Hey, this is Bruno Mars and you're hearing the iHeart
Radio World premiere my new song I Just Might.
Speaker 13 (26:21):
Just.
Speaker 2 (26:25):
I'm just brand new Bruno Mars love. It's that's good.
Energy kicking off the romantic tour he does. The video
is fantastic, so overround the room, Peyt, what'd you think
the song?
Speaker 8 (26:36):
I really like it. It gets you like on your
feet and ready to go.
Speaker 10 (26:39):
Okay, I feel like it's gonna be on repeat like
people's wedding me too.
Speaker 2 (26:42):
Yeah, Kayleie your thought on the song good Morning?
Speaker 13 (26:46):
I think it's great, good energy, pretty much like all
of his songs that he cuts out.
Speaker 2 (26:51):
Have you anybody here seen the video yet? Video is fantastic,
fantastic video. I wonder if he's trying to make a
video so that people copy, I know, because it's very
brune Mars when you see the But I wonder if
you're trying to make a song with a TikTok like
kind of.
Speaker 8 (27:03):
How he did with the Lazy song.
Speaker 11 (27:04):
Yeah.
Speaker 7 (27:05):
Yeah, because everybody was doing that dance. That would be
cool if he got, you know, a viral moment for that.
He's like Bruno's back. It's been a while since we've
gotten some new music from him.
Speaker 3 (27:13):
Keayley, what's the name of the song?
Speaker 11 (27:16):
Oh? I miss the name?
Speaker 9 (27:18):
Honestly, I was too excited and calling so fast.
Speaker 3 (27:23):
Okay, well that's fair, So you're excited for new Bruno music.
Speaker 1 (27:27):
Yes, very excited.
Speaker 3 (27:28):
You want to go see the concert?
Speaker 11 (27:30):
I sure do.
Speaker 3 (27:32):
Okay, we'll search up with a pair of tickets.
Speaker 11 (27:34):
Awesome, Thank you so much. I'm so excited. I've never
seen him.
Speaker 2 (27:38):
You got it. Well, he's amazing in concert. So Bruno
mar is kicking off the Romantic tour in a couple
of months. Let's see, that's brand new music. We're gonna
give away tickets again Monday morning and all next week. Congratulations.
We'll be playing that song every single hour, all hour,
every day, and we're gonna do a ghosted Ghost It's
(27:58):
coming up next. John Jayne Rich. Hey guys, this is
Bruno Mars and you're waking up with John jay and Rich.
Something's been on my mind since we did Second Date
Update on Tuesday, and I had told a story in
the middle of second Update and my brain went surprise,
surprise a couple.
Speaker 3 (28:12):
Of different places.
Speaker 2 (28:13):
And I was telling you a story about a woman
named Hannah who invited me to be on her podcast
over a year ago. Right, it was gonna be the
second time I was a guest on any podcast. Now
I'm on a bunch of podcasts because again I'm a
hell of a guest guy.
Speaker 3 (28:27):
I have so much content.
Speaker 2 (28:29):
So we've heard people, people learned from me. So she
had asked me to be on this podcast, and when
I looked her up, I was pretty excited.
Speaker 3 (28:36):
She's like a badash.
Speaker 2 (28:38):
She's like very young and a multi millionaire and she's
got this successful podcast and I was like very excited
about it. And then as things went on, I remember
we had to change the date, and then I never
heard from her again. And it's been over a year,
and I feel like the last time her and I
spoke like she was going to reach out to me
to get a new date for the podcast. So it's
kind of like it it's not second update, but it's ghosted.
(29:00):
I've been ghosted by Hannah Hammond.
Speaker 9 (29:02):
You got ghosted?
Speaker 2 (29:04):
Yeah, So I thought we'll do like a second date update.
But I'm the guy calling in. So we're gonna call
Hannah and then Peyton you start off, and then Kyle
you do the thing, and I'm gonna jump in when
I feel the moment.
Speaker 9 (29:15):
Is right, Okay, dare you call me?
Speaker 2 (29:19):
You had other guests like is he listening?
Speaker 4 (29:22):
Oh yeah, you're live on the radio. I already told
you that, but you still are Okay, So I'm gonna
call her No.
Speaker 12 (29:28):
Nine, Okay, Peyton you ready, I'm not here.
Speaker 7 (29:47):
Hi, Hannah, Oh hey, Hannah, this is kyon Woo John
Jay and Rich.
Speaker 6 (29:51):
Hi.
Speaker 7 (29:52):
Hi, Is it okay if we talk to you on
the radio really quickly?
Speaker 13 (29:56):
Yeah?
Speaker 9 (29:57):
Okay.
Speaker 10 (29:57):
So this is kind of a weird phone call, but
I think it's going to be really great. So we
were talking to a friend of ours who had the
best things to say about you, like literally put you
on a pedestal saying your praises, says you're such an
incredible person. And he was apparently one point scheduled to
talk to you and was really excited about it. Something happened,
(30:19):
I'm not really sure what, and you guys had to reschedule,
and then the rescheduling never really happened, and and so
he's feeling a little ghosted, and we were wondering if if,
first of all, do you know what we're talking about?
Speaker 18 (30:34):
Well, John Jay correct, And so we're wondering if you
you had a reason for that or did it just
slip your mind or was there I mean, because he
can be difficult.
Speaker 13 (30:48):
No, I love John Jay. John he canceled on me
because the Sun's acl surgery, and then we were trying
to coordinate to reschedule, and I probably dropped the ball
just because my calendar is insane and if I assistant
didn't get it on the schedule, then it didn't happen.
And then all of a sudden, the year goes by
and here we.
Speaker 9 (31:04):
Are, here, we are a wait, so waiting.
Speaker 2 (31:10):
So you dropped the ball.
Speaker 9 (31:11):
But you cancel.
Speaker 13 (31:13):
You canceled on me first, and then I never said
another date because I had surgery after that.
Speaker 9 (31:20):
Oh are you okayd are you okay?
Speaker 4 (31:22):
Yeah?
Speaker 13 (31:23):
Yeah, I'm okay, thank you good. It took a while
to heal, but I'm good now.
Speaker 7 (31:27):
Looked and busy, John Jay, if you cancel, you gotta
be like, hey, here's my schedule.
Speaker 2 (31:31):
I canceled one time, but then she said Rebo, so
then she actually said I dropped the ball.
Speaker 9 (31:36):
If she shouldn't have said that, because you both did.
Speaker 4 (31:38):
That's just her taking ownership.
Speaker 9 (31:39):
Like the response, I don't think I could probably do.
John Jays, take a little bit about it, Hannah.
Speaker 2 (31:44):
Hannah, her podcast is very popular. What's the name of
your podcast?
Speaker 3 (31:47):
Hannah?
Speaker 13 (31:48):
The Hannah Hammon Show the.
Speaker 2 (31:49):
Hannah Hammond Show, right, and she has like big guests
on there. So when I go back to her your
first message, December third, twenty twenty four, I just saw
you on my friend's podcast. I just launched my own
own show. My first guest was Robert What's how do
you say? His last name Kaiosky Hokey. Yeah, and he
and I knew who he is. He's got a book
called Rich Dad, Poor Dad. And I've been following that
(32:10):
guy for a long while. And I was like, wow,
when she wants me to be your second guest, absolutely,
but then when she ghosted me.
Speaker 3 (32:17):
I've been following her podcast. She has all these great guests.
Speaker 9 (32:20):
When you canceled on her, yes, but then when.
Speaker 2 (32:22):
She ghosted me. But then when you ghosted me, I
saw these other guests and I was like, boy, maybe
I'm just not good enough because she's.
Speaker 4 (32:29):
Got another tear.
Speaker 2 (32:31):
Yeah anymore, she has all these people, and I was like,
oh man, she just thought what am I doing talking
to this guy?
Speaker 3 (32:35):
He's got nothing, So that I got all sad and depressed.
Speaker 11 (32:38):
Oh my gosh.
Speaker 3 (32:39):
Yeah, I had to go to Chessabay.
Speaker 13 (32:41):
No, I would I would love to have you.
Speaker 9 (32:43):
On hand, want to go beyond your success. You are gorgeous.
I just looked you up.
Speaker 13 (32:50):
Thank you. I don't take credit for it.
Speaker 2 (32:56):
I just, you know, make a.
Speaker 13 (32:58):
Little bit of money you can afford to look a
little better.
Speaker 2 (33:04):
That, Hannah, that's a good Sure.
Speaker 13 (33:08):
There's that picture of Kylie Jenner, you know, when she
was like young, and then a picture of her now
and they're like, don't worry, honey, you're not ugly, you're
just broke.
Speaker 2 (33:15):
No, hey, you remember you guys have all seen that guy.
And I follow this guy too. I don't know his name,
but he's a guy that goes up to people. Excuse me, sir,
what did you become a millionaire? What do you Yeah,
he just did Tony Robbins, right, And what's his name?
Speaker 8 (33:34):
Daniel Mack?
Speaker 2 (33:34):
Is that is that is? Hannah?
Speaker 3 (33:36):
Is that the guy?
Speaker 8 (33:36):
No?
Speaker 13 (33:37):
No, no, no, no, School of Hard Knocks.
Speaker 2 (33:39):
Yeah, he interviewed me to Yes, that's so that guy.
I saw him go up to her. Excuse me, ma'am,
when did you make your first million dollars?
Speaker 3 (33:46):
Like? That's what I'm that's what we're talking about. She's
like a badass.
Speaker 8 (33:48):
Oh yeah, Daniel Mack is what card do you drive.
What do you do?
Speaker 2 (33:51):
This guy says, how did you become? So it's what's
the state School of hard Knocks? Is that what it is?
Speaker 3 (33:55):
What is it?
Speaker 11 (33:56):
Yeah? The School of Hard Knocks.
Speaker 3 (33:58):
Yeah, he's a beef.
Speaker 13 (33:59):
He has like fifteen to twenty million followers.
Speaker 11 (34:02):
Yeah, three years. He's awesome.
Speaker 6 (34:04):
Yeah.
Speaker 13 (34:05):
He interviews billionaires and millionaires around the world.
Speaker 3 (34:08):
He interviewed her and I was like, oh my god,
she ghosted me.
Speaker 13 (34:14):
Wow, well I did it not intentionally.
Speaker 10 (34:17):
The good news I'm feeling is that I don't think
the I think we will get a second date on
the schedule podcast.
Speaker 6 (34:26):
Right.
Speaker 2 (34:26):
Hey, I'd love to have you on my podcast. The
highly successful John J. VanNess podcast would be prepared for
lots of like low ball, uneducated questions. I can't talk
I can't talk about refinancing and buying property.
Speaker 3 (34:40):
I don't know how to do that anyway. So how's that
sound when you come on my podcast? Hannah?
Speaker 11 (34:45):
Yeah, that's all great.
Speaker 13 (34:46):
We could just do a swap.
Speaker 11 (34:47):
At your studio.
Speaker 3 (34:48):
You want me to come on your podcast?
Speaker 9 (34:50):
Swap?
Speaker 3 (34:50):
Can I be on your podcast?
Speaker 7 (34:51):
She's like, God, Hannah, you guys got to do like
the Jersey swap that they do it after all the
Oh my.
Speaker 2 (34:59):
God, havebsolutely we'll swist shirts.
Speaker 13 (35:02):
You want to do your podcast now you can. You
can collaborate on YouTube videos.
Speaker 2 (35:08):

Speaker 2 (35:15):
So, by the way, on Instagram or you're Hannah Hammond.

jimpling on the air with us.
Speaker 15 (35:55):
All right, that's ghosted you guys.
Speaker 2 (36:00):
Ghost I liked it, you liked it.
Speaker 10 (36:02):
You could think of like a phrase for when you're
not ghosted anymore, Like you are now seen.
Speaker 2 (36:10):
You're now a human being, You're now you're alive again.
But I think every once in a while, each one
of you guys have to come up with a ghosted
some of that blew you off in your family, in
your life.
Speaker 8 (36:21):
That could be fun.
Speaker 2 (36:22):
Frischman, call your.
Speaker 6 (36:22):
Dad, Singers.
Speaker 2 (36:44):
Jountaine Rich Lots going on Bruno Mar's new music, Bruno
Mars take it.
Speaker 3 (36:49):
In fact, we got more new music coming out this morning. Vanessa,
Good morning.
Speaker 1 (36:53):
Good morning. How are you.
Speaker 2 (36:55):
What's going on?
Speaker 1 (36:58):
Well, it's Friday, so it's a great day. I was.
I was just calling about the new Bruno Mars song
that you just played. The first thing that came to
my mind was Leo Sayer the do You make Me
Feel Like dancing? Is what it reminded me of.
Speaker 4 (37:17):
I'm dancing, Oh man, Hold on which one the brutal song?
Somebody gets to stick it up for me? Let me
Jimmy just a moment on.
Speaker 3 (37:29):
Noah's got his figure up, go to dance, not.
Speaker 4 (37:40):
Just stick it up on page one.
Speaker 2 (37:42):
You say, that's the first thing. What else? I thought?
Speaker 1 (37:46):
It was great? You know, kind of get you, get
you going in the morning. It was a good song,
but that was the first thing it reminded me of
was Leo Sayer, you gotta get there, don't know what
to do.
Speaker 4 (38:00):
Actually hear a little bit.
Speaker 2 (38:06):
I actually hear love of this song. It's great.
Speaker 4 (38:11):
Actually the music sounds like that you make me feel
like dancing, but like the behind him, but not what
he's singing. That sounds like something totally different, but it's
still cool. Probably just it's probably just a groove.
Speaker 3 (38:23):
The dude is heavily influenced by that kind.
Speaker 4 (38:25):
Of name for sure, And I'm okay with that.
Speaker 2 (38:27):
I mean, that's fine, Vanessa, have a great day.
Speaker 3 (38:30):
Thank you for listening.
Speaker 1 (38:32):
Thanks you guys do as well.
Speaker 2 (38:34):
I thank you.
Speaker 3 (38:35):
By the way.
Speaker 2 (38:36):
His album The Romantic comes out February twenty seventh, And
I just saw a list of the most anticipated albums

Zach Brian Zaane?
Speaker 3 (41:27):
All right, go ahead, let's play What are you playing? Nick?
Speaker 15 (41:29):
All right, guys, we're playing another version of insane in
the membrane.
Speaker 2 (41:33):
This time.
Speaker 15 (41:35):
What's Inzane is who could possibly be opening for Zaye
in Vegas?
Speaker 12 (41:41):
Right?
Speaker 3 (41:42):
Okay?
Speaker 2 (41:43):
And the fun thing about this is they all rhyme
with Zaye.
Speaker 9 (41:46):
Okay.
Speaker 15 (41:47):
Your goal is to guess who these people are who
could possibly be opening for Zaane in Vegas. They're all
insane and we're gonna start with John jay.
Speaker 13 (41:58):
Wow.
Speaker 2 (42:00):
Wrong, my buddy, I don't get the I don't either.
Who's opening for Zane? Rhymes? Is Zane Maine King? Dane
Lane raising Kaynes? Oh, raising Kaynes? That would have been
(42:21):
a fun one. Uh that one we were looking for
Nathan Lane.
Speaker 9 (42:26):
Lane.
Speaker 4 (42:28):
That's what made me crack up.
Speaker 2 (42:29):
So that's good.
Speaker 15 (42:29):
It's funny Rhymes saying it's a good start. So no
points were John Jaye round one, however, Uh, he can
receive Regina himself in round two.
Speaker 2 (42:42):
We'll move on Dow to Rich Well. Guy dresses up
like a bag clearly has issues.
Speaker 15 (42:49):
Oh, Bruce Wayne, it would be super insane if Bruce
Wayne opened for Zaye. So good job Rich with one
point already dumb in this game, Peyton, don't they b.
Speaker 18 (43:04):
Up?
Speaker 8 (43:08):
I don't recognize that clip on all rhyme? Sane Wayne
Kine Layne Tame Rain.
Speaker 2 (43:19):
Let's go with Tame Tame.
Speaker 15 (43:21):
That's tammy, that's that's a that's a near rhyme. We
were looking for Lynch Comma Jane, Jane Lynch.
Speaker 2 (43:29):
It would be kind of weird she opened for my gosh,
where was that clip from say forty old version?
Speaker 7 (43:36):
Okay, a Glee clip would have been a little bit better, right, but.
Speaker 15 (43:39):
It's more fun to use other ones. All right, no
points for paid a round one Kyle.
Speaker 6 (43:47):
The brain.
Speaker 14 (43:49):
The brain.
Speaker 6 (43:53):
Insane.
Speaker 9 (43:54):
I actually thought that John Jay's clip was picking the
brain and that's the answer.
Speaker 15 (44:01):
Yeah, the answer is pinky and the brain. Good job, Kyle,
one point already in this game. We're all having a
good time. And now it's Jennifer's turn. Jennifer, here we go.
Speaker 2 (44:24):
That is gonna be pay saying open for zaying? All right?
Did she keep pay?
Speaker 3 (44:30):
Bought his mom and forty million dollars. Jet I didn't know.
Speaker 8 (44:34):
I want to.
Speaker 2 (44:36):
He's got that mass singer money. It's crazy. That's like,
can't you afford the gas? Like there's more to it
that you just have to play. That's so crazy.
Speaker 15 (44:45):
It's a good point, all right, you're right, good job,
all right. Jennifer on the board, Rich on the board,
Kyle on the board. Move on now to John Jay.
Speaker 9 (44:54):
You know what does, as anyone ever tells me, look
exactly like al Pacino?
Speaker 1 (45:00):
You know, son of a woman who.
Speaker 2 (45:04):
Elaine from Si Delane. We're all having a good time.
One point for John Jay. Move on to Rich.
Speaker 7 (45:15):
Oh, do you think darkness is your ally?
Speaker 3 (45:19):
You merely adopted the dog. I was born in it.
Speaker 4 (45:25):
I was born in the dog god that is Bane Baine. Yeah,
well I had a very Gotham s.
Speaker 2 (45:29):
Yeah, I had a different answer. I thought that was
Senator Palpitane. Three of us in here really thought that
was funny. All right, Rich with two points, way to
(45:52):
go undefeated thus far. Peyton, I.
Speaker 7 (46:06):
Feel like I've heard that song on guitar hero Okay,
so I'm assuming it's a band and it rhymes with Zane.
Speaker 15 (46:14):
The Crane the Crane Okay, Uh that's, of course incorrect.
Everybody in the room, we all know. I'm w W
former superstar, current mayor of NOTx County, Tennessee.
Speaker 18 (46:26):
Kane, I said, Kane rand also heard of.
Speaker 4 (46:35):
A rock band.
Speaker 2 (46:38):
All right, sorry, Pabe, no point, say, Kyle, what didn't
I say except you're welcome.
Speaker 9 (46:47):
Okay, hold on a second, because that's MAUI in Mowanna.
But neither one of those rhyme with Zay. Oh no,
so that would be Dwayne.
Speaker 2 (47:02):
Johnson. Comma, Dwayne. All right, good job, Kyle.
Speaker 15 (47:06):
Two points, Jennifer, you could win this whole game, and
it would be insane if this person opened for Zane.
Speaker 13 (47:22):
That's little Wayne Day.
Speaker 2 (47:29):
You're gonna go see Zaye in Las Vegas. Jennifer, congratulations.
Speaker 1 (47:33):
I'm so excited.
Speaker 2 (47:34):
Part time you go to Tonight's Day at the Park MGM.
We're also give you a hundred dollars gas card to
get you there. So very cool, Jennifer, thanks for listening.
Hold on, okay, thank you, you got it. Okay, So
just to give you some a lot of stuff happening
with prizes. An hour from now, we're doing a Renaissance
testil an hour from now. See Okay, Renaissance Cestel an
hour from now on Monday, Brutal Marsh tickets on Monday.
(47:58):
Pay your bills is back in a half hour or so.
We got one thousand dollars on the line for a
minute to minn. Lot's happening on this radio show. You
know we have a Monday is another Vegas trip for
another talk about that one yet? Right, we can't say
who it is, right right, right right? The Vegas trips continue,
but just with a different artists, and we'll explain that
on Monday. Now coming up next. What happens when you
(48:20):
get a Christmas present and it backfires on you text line?
You text jj R whatever you want to say to
the number nine six eight ninety three. Well, you know
what today is? Today's a special day.
Speaker 9 (48:35):
What's today?
Speaker 2 (48:37):
Today is quitters Day? Oh yeah, it's today you're most
likely to drop your resolution. It's always the second Friday
in January. Weekends make it harder stick to resolutions like
drinking lessons, saving money. So today's the day everyone quits.
Speaker 9 (48:50):
And that's why I haven't started mine yet. Smart, I'm
already ahead.
Speaker 2 (48:54):
Of the bully. So when I said earlier that a
Christmas gift backfire is what exactly happened.
Speaker 10 (49:01):
Well, I got a gift card and I was really
excited to use it. It was like, you know, one
of those like Visa gift cards, right, And so I
personally find joy in going to home goods and just
seeing what the store speaks to me.
Speaker 9 (49:17):
And the other day my son was.
Speaker 10 (49:18):
Like, we should decorate for Valentine's Day. I'm like, we
don't really have any Valentine's decorations. I really just don't
have those around. I'm like, that's a good idea. I'll
go use my gift card. That sounds amazing. So I
shop around and it's like when you're shopping with a
gift card, it's like there's a little extra pep in
myself because it's like not my money, you know what
I mean.
Speaker 9 (49:37):
I'm like, if this was my money, would I be
getting this this little love sign that looks like a balloon?
Speaker 6 (49:44):
Probably not.
Speaker 9 (49:45):
But I've got a gift card.
Speaker 10 (49:47):
So I toss it in the cart and I keep,
you know, shopping around, and I'm like, I'm probably at
the where the gift card amount is.
Speaker 9 (49:54):
So let's just go check out. So when I'm checking out,
I get to the front and I'm like, oh, I
should probably take the gift card out of the pack right,
And then I'm there.
Speaker 10 (50:01):
I'm already like the line moved a little longer or
a little quicker than I thought it was going to.
So as he's checking out, I'm taking the gift card
out of the packaging and I'm like, oh, darn it.
Speaker 9 (50:09):
It's one of those where you have to like call
a number.
Speaker 2 (50:11):
To activate it.
Speaker 10 (50:12):
So he's still checking out the items and I'm on
the phone like I'm gonna call and activate the gift card.
He's like, sure, no problem, and so I call the
number and it asks me for like the number, like
the card number, and I can't find the card number anywhere,
so I flip it over. It's not on the front,
so I flip it over the back and there's this
sticker that says do not remove. It's here for security,
(50:35):
and I go, oh, that's weird. I'm like, I can't
find the number, and he's like, oh, I think that's
just for security when it's being sold. I think you
take it off to.
Speaker 9 (50:43):
Get the number underneath.
Speaker 10 (50:44):
So I start peeling off the sticker on the back
of the card, and it's not peeling off. It's like
you know when you peel as the graph and like
a little bit comes off and then like rips part
of it.
Speaker 9 (50:55):
So it's like you can't really peel it off again.
And I'm struggling and he sees it. I'm struggling, and.
Speaker 8 (51:00):
So it goes.
Speaker 10 (51:00):
Let me give it a try, and so now he
mind you. There's fifteen people in line, like hot and
like eyes on me. I'm like starting to spy can
get He's like, no problem. We peel these up one
hundred times a day, no problem. And I'm like, okay,
he probably can do it some of my nails. Maybe
it's that he can't get the sticker off again. I
(51:24):
didn't buy the things thinking I was spending.
Speaker 8 (51:27):
Any of my money.
Speaker 9 (51:28):
I don't want to spend money. I just bought Christmas
for bethsake. And I'm like, there's people behind me. I'm
taking way too long. This is insane. Fine, I'm just going,
you know what, I'll just use a different card. And
I'm like, like.
Speaker 2 (51:46):
It's fine.
Speaker 9 (51:47):
So I end up paying for it.
Speaker 6 (51:48):
I leave it.
Speaker 10 (51:49):
I'm like I'm going to do that trick where you
take a blow dryer and you blow dry pay for
with my own money, be grudgingly, but also fifteen people
behind me starts, what do you.
Speaker 6 (52:02):
Okay?
Speaker 9 (52:03):
So I bring it in with me to work and
I'm like, oh, I didn't have the blow dryer, so
what am I going to do?
Speaker 10 (52:09):
So I take you guys, I'm here yesterday with this heater,
the space heater we have, and I'm holding the gift
card in front of the.
Speaker 2 (52:15):
Space heater.
Speaker 9 (52:18):
And I take a knife and I'm like, scraping it.
It's not coming off. What And I'm like, I'm starting
to feel like this gift card.
Speaker 6 (52:26):
Is a scam. Like it's a scam. You can't find the.
Speaker 10 (52:29):
Number any with the numbers nowhere on the card because
from what I've peeled off, there's nothing underneath this.
Speaker 9 (52:35):
Okay, So I'm very confused. And I flipped the card
back over to the.
Speaker 10 (52:39):
Front and you know, it's got that sticker with the
phone number on it to activate it. I peel the
sticker off very easily, by the way, and the numbers
right under I felt so stupid.
Speaker 2 (52:53):
Right now I can use it.
Speaker 8 (52:59):
Well, I don't know.
Speaker 10 (53:00):
I think it was like a security sticker. It wasn't
the barcode, but I really think you aren't supposed to
remove it.
Speaker 2 (53:07):
You know that cashier should have got caught on that.
Speaker 4 (53:09):
Yeah, they'd probably see those cards a lot, right.
Speaker 2 (53:12):
I don't get all goodwill hunting on you, but it's
not your fault. That's sneak you fault.
Speaker 9 (53:18):
So then you, guys, I feel like, Okay, I found
the number. I should now use the gift card.
Speaker 5 (53:25):
Right.
Speaker 6 (53:28):
So remember that.
Speaker 9 (53:29):
Story I told you guys about that I was so
excited about. It was called the Bins.
Speaker 10 (53:32):
Yeah, it's like a super discount store. Like I got
an area rug for twelve dollars, so and then I
drove there one day and it was just gone, Like
the building was empty, and I was a little heartbroken.
But they have another location, but it's on the west
side and I live on the east side, so it's
kind of a hike, Like I have no reason to
drive out that way, except now I'm thinking, I.
Speaker 2 (53:53):
Got this gift card right in your pocket.
Speaker 10 (53:55):
Down part of like something about the New Year, when
you take the Christmas decorations and just have like all
of your regular stuff. It's clean, but it just feels
like I will like a refresh, right, But I would
love a new couch. But I that's not in the
budget right now. So I'm like, maybe some new pillows,
you know where, I could get them at the Binch
And this gift card will.
Speaker 2 (54:16):
Go a long way.
Speaker 10 (54:17):
I'm gonna get a lot of pillows out of this
gift card. So I get all excited. I'm like, you
know what, fine, I'm gonna make the track. You know,
when I'm at work, I'm basically halfway there, so I
might as well go. I got nothing to do after
work today, so I'm going.
Speaker 8 (54:30):
So I hop the car.
Speaker 10 (54:31):
And it's funny because you know, when you live in
the East Valley and you think about the West Valley,
I think everything over there is like the same.
Speaker 9 (54:37):
So I'm like, hey, no, I'm going to be by
your house.
Speaker 10 (54:38):
Tomorrow because he lives in Peora, and I tell him
where the place is and he goes.
Speaker 9 (54:43):
Oh no, that's Meryvale, and I'm like, okay, whatever, I'm going.
Speaker 15 (54:46):
So I go.
Speaker 10 (54:47):
I'm all excited. I got my gift card. Now it's
all activated, I got a pin number and everything. I
am ready to buy some pillows.
Speaker 8 (54:54):
I drive it.
Speaker 9 (54:54):
There's kind of a long drive, and I get there.
Speaker 8 (54:58):
The building is empty.
Speaker 9 (55:00):
Oh no, this stupid place closed out again.
Speaker 3 (55:09):
The shop.
Speaker 9 (55:10):
Seriously, seriously, you are probably one hundred percent correct. But
I didn't want to give up, so I did take
to Instagram to another place that's sort of like that.
That's back on the East Melt. I'm driving through the
rain and because I'm like, maybe I'll discover another hidden gym,
and I did. I did so right by where you
know they like Fiestam's demolished.
Speaker 10 (55:31):
It's just dirt right now, right by where Fiestmal used
to be. There is a hidden gem and it's kind
of like the Bins. The deals aren't as great, but
the place is so cute and it's, uh, the Oliver
James Lifestyle Company or something.
Speaker 2 (55:46):
I've it's so cute.
Speaker 9 (55:48):
They've got great deals, and I have a new place
to go. And guess what I spent my Kift guard.
I got a new pillow.
Speaker 2 (56:00):
I was going to say.
Speaker 5 (56:02):
I was driving at the same time as Kyle and
we were both heading in the same direction, and I
told her, I'm like, this is going to be so easy.
You're like halfway points in my house, so I could
be like fifteen minutes tops, perfect time and day ago,
and then out of nowhere. Yeah, it rained it was
like a torrential downpour, and there was so much rain
and so fast that everybody starts slowing down. You couldnt
(56:23):
see where you were going, and the drives started getting
longer and longer.
Speaker 15 (56:26):
Took me for every home.
Speaker 5 (56:27):
And I texted her and I was like, I'm thinking
about you. Did you get through the rain?
Speaker 2 (56:30):
Okay? Just like the fence is gone? Say that in
the text. Wait, you know what, let me tell you something.
You said a couple of things in there that that
was going to bring up. You said that you'd like
to get a couch. If you were going to get
a couch, where would you get a couch?
Speaker 9 (56:49):
I don't know.
Speaker 10 (56:51):
I mean, is that like I could have any couch
I wanted, Like the budget wasn't an issue.
Speaker 2 (56:56):
The couch is expensive. Yeah, they came very okay, Because
let me tell you what's going on. I bought this
new TV right and it's and I'm taking over this
room that was for my kids, but screw them, they're gone.
They're so I put so there's a couch in it.
I don't go in that room because I hate this couch.
This couch that we have, it's like three lazy boys
together that sounds amazing, but no, and the arms don't
(57:19):
go down, so I can't lay on the couch. And
when you hit a button, the feet come out, but
they're battery operated, so the batteries died, so now they
never come out. It's a terrible couch. I'm so mad
that my wife bought this couch, Like she didn't run
it by me.
Speaker 3 (57:33):
Nothing right. But it's been there for ten years and
I never I never go watch TV in that room.
Speaker 4 (57:38):
Why would she not talk to you about a couch
of all the things that you're ocd It was.
Speaker 2 (57:42):
The kid's room. The couch in the living room is
my couch. I would by a piece without telling you.
She's out of town and she says to me, are
you gonna go look for a couch? I said, yeah,
So she comes home tomorrow night, but I know that
she's gonna She's like, well, make sure you get one
that's whatever colors. I'm like, I don't know. I want
to freaking cool couch. I want to couch. At one
point I wanted to couch. Was red that popped? It
(58:04):
doesn't imagine I just want a cool couch. So yesterday
my kids and I I remember a long time ago
when we were looking for couch, which is place which
is over.
Speaker 3 (58:13):
By you guys, and it's a potato barn.
Speaker 2 (58:17):
No, oh god, no, it's a it's an outlet, cracker
crighton barrel. So the cracker barrel Creighton barrel outlet. So
yesterday my kids and I got in the car and
we were gonna go get the couch to make sure
(58:38):
it's in the house before she gets home so she
can't do anything with that. Get in the car, leave
my house freaking bumper to bubber traffic, pouring rain. I
didn't even get to the radio station. I'm like, forget
this man. I'm like, I'm not even this far. So
we went to go eat somewhere else. But I was
so pissed. So today I looked at the weather looks good.
So today we're going to go get a couch, and
I have to do it before tomorrow oils my wife's
(59:00):
and get involved. So that's when you brought up couch.
Speaker 3 (59:03):
I was like, where would you get a couch, because
I'll go there and get a couch.
Speaker 9 (59:06):
Yeah, I don't know. I would have to shop around
at probably like eighty places.
Speaker 2 (59:10):
I remember one time we went to that Cracker Barrel outlet,
and I remember the just had a sea of couches.
There's just so many couches. And then I said to
my friend, I called Kevin Row. I said, I need
to get a couch. Where would you get a couch?
He goes like this, this is why what you just
said excited me. He goes, my wife does look at prices.
(59:32):
Of course, she goes to restoration hardware. I've never been
there before, but you said, there's a restoration in our
hardware outlet, so they must also have good couches.
Speaker 4 (59:41):
Yeah, they do. That's where I got mine at the
outlet and it was, like I think, originally a lot
and I paid a couple hundred bucks for That's.
Speaker 3 (59:47):
What I'm talking about.
Speaker 7 (59:48):
The outlet is just overstock from the Crton barrel across
the street, the actual crane.
Speaker 2 (59:52):
Right, but it's cheaper. It's an outlet, so I need
to buy a couch asap.
Speaker 4 (01:00:02):
Is John, Jay and Rich.
Speaker 2 (01:00:03):
I think one of the biggest things I've ever brought
up on this radio show, according to my direct messages
on Instagram, is where to buy a couch. We have
a lot of places where all people messaging places. I
guess there's a So I was talking about the cracker barrel,
crake and barrel outlet, and then you guys said the
restoration hardware. And then someone else said, there's an anthropology
outlet out there too. They saw couches an anthropology, so
(01:00:26):
this person said, and then someone said, someone said, oh god,
it Love Sack. Remember Love Sack people. I remember during
COVID when I went we were looking to get a
couch and I went to Love Sack and I was
in love with it, and I was like this is great.
And they're like, okay, we ship it to you and
here's how you put it together. And I'm like, put
it together. No, I'm not paying this much money and
(01:00:47):
putting it together like you guys. Deliver it well, you guys,
And I remember them going, you can call an outside
source for them to put together.
Speaker 3 (01:00:54):
It was like simple. It was like a thousand pieces,
like no, not gonna happen.
Speaker 2 (01:00:59):
We're playing new Bruno mar playing it every single hour.
It's new music Friday. But Peyton's got other new music songs.
Speaker 7 (01:01:04):
Yeah, so asap Rocky he's dropping his album. This song
is called punk Rocky.
Speaker 1 (01:01:13):
I don't want.
Speaker 7 (01:01:18):
I like some timber and influence a lot when it
comes to his like music production and things like that.
But this is off of his album Don't Be Dumb.
Speaker 4 (01:01:33):
But it sounds kind of like alternative rock. It doesn't
sounds say at all eighties alternative.
Speaker 9 (01:01:37):
Yeah, that's so funny.
Speaker 10 (01:01:38):
I feel like it's like hippie music, sixties music, something different.
Speaker 3 (01:01:44):
It's not punk, I can tell you that. No, not
punk music.
Speaker 6 (01:01:48):
Yeah.
Speaker 7 (01:01:48):
So I mean I like that he's switching it up.
You know, it's not your typical asap rocky. This I
found interesting. So Olivia Rodrigo she dropped her sour album
five years ago and Driver's License was on that. That
was her huge song that just shot her to superstardom
five years ago. So now Olivia Rodrigo, she basically is
teaming up with all of her favorite artists and having
(01:02:10):
them do covers of her original songs. So this is
David Byrne singing Driver's License, No we want perfect.
Speaker 2 (01:02:24):
I love that guy.
Speaker 4 (01:02:28):
This is Grant Music, by the way, John, he.
Speaker 2 (01:02:31):
Would love this.
Speaker 8 (01:02:32):
I'm sorry, I don't know who deep David Burn is.
And when I heard this, I was like, what am
I listening to?
Speaker 2 (01:02:38):
Right?
Speaker 8 (01:02:38):
I get it.
Speaker 2 (01:02:40):
He's the lead favor band called the Talking Heads, and
their songs out there that you definitely know of his interesting.
Speaker 4 (01:02:45):
Definitely down the House, Burning down the House.
Speaker 2 (01:02:49):
No, the song is used in everything. That other one,
oh god, oh you may find yourself.
Speaker 7 (01:02:55):
Yeah that one, well, yeah, other than Jess the Bruno
Mars that we've been playing for you all born.
Speaker 6 (01:03:01):
Take it.
Speaker 2 (01:03:02):
You gotta get down, you'll know what to do.
Speaker 7 (01:03:14):
So the more I hear it, the more I love it,
and you'll have the opportunity to hear the full song
here in just a little bit.
Speaker 8 (01:03:19):
But I was just gonna say no. But lots of
good new.
Speaker 2 (01:03:22):
Music in fact, so someone called earlier and said that
it sounded like Leo Sayer, Who is a song?
Speaker 3 (01:03:29):
What's the song where you make you feel like dancing?
So this is let's let's hear.
Speaker 12 (01:03:31):
That song.
Speaker 4 (01:03:39):
Pray Now that's gonna be stuck in my head.
Speaker 3 (01:03:42):
I played play the Brutal.
Speaker 2 (01:03:43):
Because why not take its Parmo, you gotta get down,
don't know what to do. I'm gonna hear that, you
know what he reminded me of. Just now, do you
remember that song? It was justin Timberlake signs. Is it? Yeah?
Speaker 3 (01:04:02):
It with Snoop Dogg.
Speaker 2 (01:04:03):
Oh, that's a great song. They're part of that sounds
like that damn do you guys know that song?
Speaker 8 (01:04:08):
Maybe if I heard any.
Speaker 2 (01:04:09):
That should have been a bigger hit that. So there's
a couple of cuss words in there, so I can't.
I was just gonna play it for you off my phone,
but I can't because there's some customers.
Speaker 7 (01:04:17):
Those songs don't sound the same, but they do both
make you want to like get up on your feet
and dance.
Speaker 2 (01:04:21):
Maybe that's what we're feeling. Yeah, because it's definitely a
kick ass song. We got a thousand bucks of Pure
Fords money on the line with Minute to Win It.
Call us at eight seven, seven nine, three seven to
one oh four seven New Music Friday, Brand new Bruno
Mars is called I Just Might. We're gonna play it
right now. Listen to full song. It's fantastic. Yeah, this
is Bruno Mars and you're waking up with John Jay
and Rich.
Speaker 18 (01:04:43):
Yeah.
Speaker 2 (01:04:43):
We got one thousand dollars on the last. Good morning, Denise,
how are you? I am fine?
Speaker 18 (01:04:48):
Good are you?
Speaker 9 (01:04:50):
Guys?
Speaker 2 (01:04:50):
You're gonna play a Minute to Win It for one
thousand dollars of Pat Hickey's money from pure Ford.
Speaker 4 (01:04:56):
Yes, are you ready? Let's lock it in, Denise, this
could be your day. One thousand dollars, sixty seconds on
the clock. Let's go. Who created Mickey Mouse?
Speaker 12 (01:05:09):
Walt Disney?
Speaker 2 (01:05:11):
The War of eighteen twelve was mostly fought in what year.
Speaker 1 (01:05:19):
Eighteen twelve?
Speaker 4 (01:05:20):
Who was the first man to walk on the moon?
Speaker 1 (01:05:28):
Is it Neil Armstrong?
Speaker 4 (01:05:31):
What is Thomas Edison famous for inventing.
Speaker 1 (01:05:36):
The light bulb?
Speaker 2 (01:05:37):
What is the name of the blue alien planet in
the movie Avatar?
Speaker 6 (01:05:43):
Oh?
Speaker 7 (01:05:44):
Oh no, no, no, no, uh.
Speaker 10 (01:05:52):
Oh no, Candora?
Speaker 4 (01:05:58):
Name any song by Bruno Mars twenty four twenty four
Carrot who appears on a fifty dollars bill.
Speaker 6 (01:06:07):
Oh at a time?
Speaker 4 (01:06:12):
That is the Ulysses S. Grant.
Speaker 3 (01:06:14):
I would have never got that.
Speaker 8 (01:06:15):
Tough on you guys, You got five right though, you're
on your sixth.
Speaker 4 (01:06:18):
Questions to wonder, what's taking you so long to answer
the Avatar?
Speaker 13 (01:06:25):
One?
Speaker 1 (01:06:25):
Man?
Speaker 11 (01:06:26):
That one got me.
Speaker 2 (01:06:28):
Did you google it or just pull it out of
your head? No?
Speaker 4 (01:06:32):
I was googling it, Okay, that's it took her so long.
Speaker 3 (01:06:34):
Well, I was going to say, like, that is an
answer that I don't know. But when I heard it.
I knew it. Yeah, and I was like, oh man,
all right, all right, well thanks for playing Denise.
Speaker 4 (01:06:44):
All right, thanks good The Google's not going to get
you there for a minute to win faster faster. Yeah,
And so most of those you don't have to google.
I mean, you know Mickey Mouse, well Disney.
Speaker 2 (01:06:54):
Right, you just get that.
Speaker 8 (01:06:55):
But that second one with the War of eighteen twelve,
that was a trick question.
Speaker 5 (01:06:59):
No, it was it.
Speaker 4 (01:06:59):
That's it's the easiest question of all time. I question
eighteen twelve was primarily fought in what year? That is
the easiest gimme on the planet.
Speaker 2 (01:07:11):
That's one of the questions that was always a fun question.
They've asked your entire life, your entire childhood, like you know,
what do you do to red light? It's like when
was the year? When was the War of eighteen twelve?
Eighteen twelve? Like that, that's like, that's not like you said,
when was the War of nineteen forty one? The War
of eighteen twelve is something that's been around as a
joke forever. So was it really that she should have
got that faster?
Speaker 15 (01:07:30):
Oh?
Speaker 8 (01:07:30):
I didn't realize it was like a joke.
Speaker 2 (01:07:32):
Yeah, Well it's not a joke, but it's just one
of those gimme, oh, it is a joke when they
say when was the War of eighteen twelve?
Speaker 3 (01:07:38):
And that's been a what's the word I'm looking for?
It's been a thing forever.
Speaker 4 (01:07:41):
It's been out there.
Speaker 2 (01:07:42):
Yeah, but I mean that question.
Speaker 3 (01:07:44):
M h. Do you know what I'm saying?
Speaker 4 (01:07:45):
No, I don't know what you're saying. What do you mean?
I know that it's been out there for a while.
Speaker 3 (01:07:49):
Like there's a series of questions people like little games
you play when you're.
Speaker 4 (01:07:52):
Oh, like, what do you do with a yellow light?
And most people say stop.
Speaker 2 (01:07:55):
Will stop?
Speaker 3 (01:07:55):
What do you do your spill stops? Will stop? Still stop?
What do you do to green light? Stop?
Speaker 18 (01:07:59):
Oh?
Speaker 2 (01:08:00):
What what is of eighteen twelve? That's like that there
was a plane crash on the border of Arizona in California.
Where do you bury the survivors? You don't bury survivors? Hey,
are you playing this game? You don't bury the survivors?
When was War eighteen twelve?
Speaker 10 (01:08:15):
It's one of those type of quass Yes, thank you, Braine,
that's it.
Speaker 3 (01:08:22):
Okay, you know what I'm saying.
Speaker 4 (01:08:23):
We're not teasing Peyton's brain. She's not having it.
Speaker 8 (01:08:25):
It's just putting my brain in circles. It's confusing.
Speaker 2 (01:08:28):
Out of your yellow cup there, Friday Mode.
Speaker 3 (01:08:33):
I am right now currently intrigued with the story.
Speaker 2 (01:08:36):
It's based out of here, and it's getting national attention,
and I've read the story two or three times and
i think it's interesting.
Speaker 3 (01:08:43):
It's hacking.
Speaker 2 (01:08:43):
I'm gonn tell you gus about it at the time.
I'm just gonna I'm not gonna read. I'm go and
tell you us about this is what I heard. And
if you if you know this person, have her call please.
I think her name is Brooke Hayes. Me let me
just don't check the story. Her name is Brooks Brook.
Her husband is Dustin Hayes. Brooke brook has so get this.
Her husband riding a motorcycle twenty years. He's been riding motorcycles,
(01:09:04):
and I guess he's got this new helmet that's like
the iPhone where you know, if you have the iyewatch
or if you get hurt, it notifies people. Oh, she
gets a notification that something's wrong because of his helmet.
It's one of those bluetooth helmets. So she looks on
the device and he's like thirty miles away in the
middle of nowhere.
Speaker 3 (01:09:22):
She's like, I wonder if something's wrong.
Speaker 2 (01:09:24):
Let me go out there, and I guess it's He
was like several miles off the road and he was
in an accident. Every bone in his body's broken, every
bone in his body's broken. And she saved him and
he's in the hospital now. He's in an induced coma.
But she did an interview about it, and I thought
this was funny. She goes, she found him unconsciousnesside of
(01:09:45):
the road, a spot you couldn't see from the road.
If it had been there overnight, he wouldn't have made it.
He's in been into coma, over twenty broken bones. He's
still alive, she says. She told the reporter she'll get
to hold it over him forever. Now She'll be like,
do the dish. I saved her life.
Speaker 9 (01:10:02):
I love someone who still has a sense of humor.
Speaker 8 (01:10:04):
In the face of that.
Speaker 3 (01:10:06):
Said, if it happened to new she lives a new River.
Speaker 7 (01:10:09):
So if you guys know her, wow and check that
helmet out, like, how amazing for that saved his life.
Speaker 8 (01:10:15):
Yeah, saved his life. Protect his head in notified his wife.
You know that something was going on. That's insane.
Speaker 2 (01:10:21):
Real quick, anybody here finally is watching any more of
Beast Game Season two? Oh yeah, these Game season two.
Speaker 4 (01:10:26):
I did?
Speaker 7 (01:10:26):
You did?
Speaker 2 (01:10:28):
You did?
Speaker 3 (01:10:28):
And I was right right?
Speaker 9 (01:10:29):
It was so fun.
Speaker 10 (01:10:30):
I mean, we only watched the first episode and there's
three episodes out right, I can't wait.
Speaker 9 (01:10:35):
It's like, it's so this show is so good at
like the tension, the building tension where you're just like
rooting for these people you don't know in this game
show to win five million dollars, and I know where
it's going because we watched last season.
Speaker 10 (01:10:49):
They put these people in like moral dilemmas. So right
now where they're at. It's like one hundred people and
they're in Beast City, and they're like they give them
twenty four hours to like make friends and form alliances
and make bonds.
Speaker 9 (01:11:04):
And they're about to ripplem apart.
Speaker 4 (01:11:08):
Challenges they're hard, the weight thing. The people that got
through that fast, like with under a minute, are of
like they're just astounding.
Speaker 2 (01:11:16):
What about the brilliant people? Oh yeah, agree, I have.
Speaker 10 (01:11:19):
Eight Yeah, but I too thought that, like the they
picked like the super smartest people in the world to compete,
and they like making them do this memory challenge where
it's like I'm going to stack blocks and you have
sixty seconds to stack blocks in the same.
Speaker 9 (01:11:33):
Order, and you do.
Speaker 10 (01:11:34):
You're like easy, and then they take it off the
screen and you're like, oh no, what's it?
Speaker 9 (01:11:37):
Red green, blue blue?
Speaker 2 (01:11:38):
What's it?
Speaker 9 (01:11:39):
Red green, red, blue yellow?
Speaker 6 (01:11:40):
How do you know?
Speaker 2 (01:11:41):
I tried to memorize that the way it did. I
was like ready, blue, reggy blue. And then when they
went away, I couldn't do it. It was so hard.
Speaker 4 (01:11:47):
He stacks the blocks and he knocks him over so fast,
he's like knock going over. It's like now I gonna
put the mup in the same order, where you got
no time to really commit the But I was watching
the smart people do the memory tricks like try to
make word games out of it and everything, and I
think that those those are the best, but they still
fail you under stretch like that. But I thought it
was great, and even though the challenges are tense, they
(01:12:08):
move super fast.
Speaker 7 (01:12:09):
I haven't gone into beast games yet. But the way
you are talking about it and how it makes you stress,
is it in the same way when you're watching like
squid Game, Yes.
Speaker 10 (01:12:17):
Yeah, And you're like you know what I mean, where
you put yourself in the shoes of the person trying
to make this decision. Okay, So like at the end
of the first episode, they always do these things like bribes.
So like, hey, here are six people holding one hundred
thousand dollars.
Speaker 9 (01:12:37):
You can just take one hundred thousand dollars and just go.
You don't have to compete.
Speaker 10 (01:12:40):
I mean, the chances of you actually winning the five
million it's not that great, so you could take the hundred.
But then they show you the people holding the money
are people that competed last season, and a lot of
them were villains that you don't like.
Speaker 9 (01:12:53):
And when you pick the money from them, they go
into the game and get to compete again.
Speaker 3 (01:12:57):
That's cool And I'm like.
Speaker 6 (01:12:58):
Oh, like, not that guy.
Speaker 2 (01:13:03):
That's on Amazon Prime. I also brought up the Evil Influencer.
I finished the Netflix it's.
Speaker 7 (01:13:08):
About an hour and a half.
Speaker 8 (01:13:10):
When she y you would like it, and it really doesn't.
I don't.
Speaker 7 (01:13:13):
It gets into the stuff with the kids, but not
as much as I think that you would think. When
I started to watch it, I was like, oh, I'm
going to be crying this entire documentary. But no, it
actually gets into the relationship of this woman Jody and
the mom Ruby and essentially how she was like a
cult leader basically is what it gets into.
Speaker 8 (01:13:31):
And so it's pretty bizarre.
Speaker 7 (01:13:32):
In some of the interviews that they have, this Jody
woman would make these men leave their homes for years
out of time with no contact. So this Ruby lady
whose kids were being tormented, her husband had no idea
until the police reached out to it.
Speaker 2 (01:13:46):
They had that whole conversation. They had the conversation with
the dad on body Shop. Ye, and well, like that's
what I was saying.
Speaker 7 (01:13:53):
They were all under the guidance of this Jody lady.
He thought that that what him being away from his
wife and his family was seriously mending his relationship with
his wife. And it goes into like the LDS religion
and how they always try to savor their marriages no
matter what, which is why the men are so.
Speaker 8 (01:14:09):
Agreeing to leaving their homes. It's actually bizarre.
Speaker 2 (01:14:13):
It's bizarre. But it's like, you watch porn, you're an addict.
You need to leave your house for a year, what
I would never see my kids?
Speaker 8 (01:14:24):
Yeah, you remarkable to watch for sure.
Speaker 2 (01:14:28):
We got that's number one on Netflix Movies and that's
called Evil Influencer, and then Beast Games is on Prime.
We got a bunch of entertainment news to get you
compaint and gonna break it about down, Hillary Doff, Jennifer Lawrence,
Dax Shepard, all that and more.
Speaker 7 (01:14:39):
That's next, John Jay rich Or throw some shade, oh
All John Jay and rich eight seven seven nine three
seven one o four seven.
Speaker 3 (01:14:48):
Before you get the entertainment, it's something really cool.
Speaker 2 (01:14:49):
Marlon Wayne's comedian, actor, director, writer, very famous man Marlon
Waize was in our studio yesterday and there's a couple
of ways you could listen to its very cool. One
is on our Afterwards podcast and the other ways you
can watch it on our YouTube video on our YouTube channel.
So go to YouTube search John J. Rich Or on
the Afterwards, wherever you get Afterwards, wherever you get podcasts,
(01:15:10):
search John J. Rich Afterwards and you can listen to
it and there's a lot. What's interesting is that I
don't think we ever had such positive feedback on Afterwards
podcast before, and we do it that so it's really cool.
Speaker 3 (01:15:19):
Marla Lance bry Kyle pay What do you guys got
for entertainment news?
Speaker 9 (01:15:22):
I love Chloe Kardashian. She's got her podcast.
Speaker 10 (01:15:24):
She's very open, she's very vulnerable, and she answers a
lot of fan questions, one of which recently was about
her moving on romantically.
Speaker 9 (01:15:34):
Would she or would she not?
Speaker 10 (01:15:36):
And she said, uh, I don't think that's happening anytime soon,
especially at her house.
Speaker 9 (01:15:40):
I have a lot of feelings about a man just
being in my bed at the moment. I don't want
anyone in there.
Speaker 14 (01:15:44):
Unless he's my son, Like, that's the only boy that's
allowed in my bed at the moment.
Speaker 10 (01:15:49):
She's like, given past relationships, this rule is just about
boundaries and protecting her peace and comfort.
Speaker 9 (01:15:56):
And I think she's doing it the right way.
Speaker 7 (01:15:59):
Yeah, good for her. Love that Sabrina Carpenter. She posted
on Instagram basically her twenty twenty five photo dump, and
in her photo dump you see her bathroom and it's
a little alarming because it's just charred everywhere, like right
by her sink. Come to find out, she just accidentally
set her bathroom on fire.
Speaker 4 (01:16:16):
I was like, Oh, that's not like something cool. That
means everything's on fire.
Speaker 9 (01:16:19):
Literally, like it was like charred.
Speaker 7 (01:16:22):
I was like, okay, girlfriend, I'm glad everything was okay.
It looked like it was containing just to the corner.
But if you keep swiping through her stuff, it's like
you see her record breaking year.
Speaker 8 (01:16:29):
I was like, thanks for that.
Speaker 2 (01:16:30):
Sabrina Ttuswift had Little fire Fiesco too.
Speaker 8 (01:16:34):
Yeah, okay, I love it. It's chaos.
Speaker 9 (01:16:40):
It's just celebrity chaos.
Speaker 6 (01:16:42):
Do you guys remember?
Speaker 7 (01:16:43):
Uh?
Speaker 8 (01:16:44):
Okay?
Speaker 10 (01:16:44):
So it was about three four years ago now that
Jackass Forever came out. It was twenty twenty two ish
and there was a lot of drama because Bam Margera
was fired because he had substance abuse issues.
Speaker 9 (01:16:55):
It was part of his contract, and then he had
this huge feud with the cast.
Speaker 10 (01:16:59):
Well well, Johnny Knoxville announced that Jackass five is going
to come out in theaters June twenty sixth of this year,
and everyone was wondering, well, Bam Margero is part of
the O G CRUI is he going to be back
in some way?
Speaker 9 (01:17:11):
And they asked Steve O about it and he was
he was noncommittal.
Speaker 2 (01:17:16):
I think that we all believe.
Speaker 15 (01:17:18):
That the most wonderful outcome would be for all hatchets buried.
Speaker 9 (01:17:22):
All wounds healed, and all throws back together.
Speaker 2 (01:17:26):
But he's just still a little bit of the conversations
that made to have to.
Speaker 9 (01:17:31):
So I guess Bam secretly agreed to be part of
the movie. But he's not going to be doing any
new stunts.
Speaker 10 (01:17:38):
They're going to be using archived footage of different stunts
that he's done, like throughout the years that never made
it to any of the movies.
Speaker 3 (01:17:45):
Well, Johnny Knoxville, he's hosting Fear Factor.
Speaker 9 (01:17:48):
Really, oh my gosh, Fear Factor.
Speaker 2 (01:17:52):
He'll be great for the show.
Speaker 7 (01:17:53):
He was in that.
Speaker 2 (01:17:54):
We never we talked about the show, or at least
I didn't call you diff a little bit, but he
was in the first episode and gets killed.
Speaker 3 (01:18:00):
Is Last Frontier the.
Speaker 2 (01:18:03):
Oh yeah crash.
Speaker 7 (01:18:04):
Yeah in Alaska, that's right, insane. Netflix is officially bringing
mystery to our screens. They're filming their first ever live
action Scooby Doo series. Production is gonna start this April
and Atlanta. It's gonna be eight episodes. Basically, it's giving
us the origin story following Shaggy and Daphne as they
meet the new kid Freddy and local towny Velma during
(01:18:24):
a haunted camp at like during summer do they.
Speaker 3 (01:18:27):
Go to like the humane Society and rescue Scooby.
Speaker 7 (01:18:30):
I don't know how Scooby's gonna come into play, but
we're gonna figure it out when this happens. And basically
they're trying to go for a darker Stranger Things style
tone and it's expected to hit early twenty twenty seven,
so sometime this time next year. But speaking of Stranger Things,
Joe Kiri aka d jo He has officially dethroned Taylor
Swift for the number one spot on Spotify's Global chart
(01:18:53):
following the emotional Stranger Things series.
Speaker 8 (01:18:55):
His song End of the Beginning.
Speaker 2 (01:19:00):
Chip TikTok smash.
Speaker 8 (01:19:10):
Kicktok him Yeah.
Speaker 7 (01:19:15):
Yeah, over six point five million daily streams. That's how
it ended the seventy eight day reign of the Fate
of Ophelia. Fans are calling it the Steve Harrington effect.
Speaker 3 (01:19:24):
You know, that was good.
Speaker 2 (01:19:25):
They were gonna put that song in the finale and
they decided not to because it didn't make sense because
all their music.
Speaker 7 (01:19:32):
Yeah I get it, but they should have at least
in the credits or something for Steve, but something where.
Speaker 9 (01:19:37):
He said next like this this new year, he wants
to focus on his music career.
Speaker 8 (01:19:42):
Yeah, and I think he was it's tough to a
great story.
Speaker 9 (01:19:45):
Taylor Sweat.
Speaker 3 (01:19:46):
His band plays at the Van Buren quite a bit.
Speaker 9 (01:19:49):
Really, we need to get in. That'd be fun.
Speaker 10 (01:19:53):
Things are not well in the Beckham household. So apparently
Brooklyn Beckham has now told his mom and Victoria Beckham,
his parents, that if they would like to speak to him,
it has to.
Speaker 9 (01:20:05):
Be through lawyers. Like it's come to that now.
Speaker 10 (01:20:08):
There's been a lot of tension between like the parents
and Brooklyn's wife, Nicola Peltz, and apparently it's gotten so
bad and they've felt so disrespected by how their relationship
and how she's been portrayed about their feud that they
only want to speak through lawyers.
Speaker 8 (01:20:23):
It's like, you want your family.
Speaker 9 (01:20:25):
I want you to bury the hatchet. I want them
to like it be family.
Speaker 7 (01:20:28):
And I find that so fascinating that Brooklyn Beckham chose
up with his wife, because it's like, your dad's David Beckham,
your mom's Victoria Beckham, Like you were raised in superstardom
and fame. Ten for you to choose up on your wife,
I mean, I bet you his wife is like, yeah,
he's ten tones down, which is great for the relationship.
Speaker 8 (01:20:46):
Personally, but for the family that.
Speaker 10 (01:20:49):
Sucks, and I just I just feel like if if
that were me, Like if you are Nicola pet Pelts
and then you tore up the Beckham family.
Speaker 9 (01:20:57):
It's like, wouldn't you have this? I would have deep guilt.
I don't know the drama though.
Speaker 7 (01:21:02):
Right unless, like David and Victoria are awful, Like we
just not know what's going on behind the scenes here there.
Speaker 10 (01:21:08):
It might be that.
Speaker 9 (01:21:08):
Issue for sure.

Speaker 3 (01:28:23):
I was at a house last night that was.
Speaker 2 (01:28:25):
Like the most beautiful house I've ever been in, right,
and it was so stunning, and it was at night,
so you didn't even do justice except for the views
were unbelievable and you're not gonna believe what this guy
does for a living.
Speaker 3 (01:28:36):
It's tied into something that I just said.
Speaker 9 (01:28:40):
He films concerts?
Speaker 2 (01:28:42):
Nope?
Speaker 6 (01:28:44):

Nope?
Speaker 2 (01:28:47):
Oh I guess maybe maybe does his name rhyme with Zaane?
Speaker 5 (01:28:51):
No?
Speaker 2 (01:28:51):
Okay?
Speaker 4 (01:28:53):
He how was how are his couches? Did you check
out his couches?
Speaker 2 (01:28:56):
Yes? I was telling about my couch situation. Yeah, he
was like take this one. But it's like, yeah, car
like that. He One of the things he does is
he builds stages for Coachella, for the NFL and wow,
he did forty of.
Speaker 3 (01:29:15):
Tator Swift shows. Yeah, so that's what I was saying.
Speaker 9 (01:29:17):
It was tied end but then got a big bonus.
Speaker 3 (01:29:20):
Forty of Tator Swift shows.
Speaker 2 (01:29:22):
Is that nuts? Especially when you watch your documentary on Disney,
when you see how they put together the stage on
the Vancouver tour, you got to be quite.
Speaker 9 (01:29:29):
The architect to do that, because I mean, those have
to be so stable and see there's so much going
on on the stage.
Speaker 3 (01:29:34):
This guy's a mate.
Speaker 2 (01:29:35):
This guy I spent so much time talking about he
was fascinating, and I asked to be on my highly
successful John J. VanNess podcast and he said, yes, most
colored three things you need to.
Speaker 10 (01:29:43):
Know col most people lie about this one major thing
to make themselves seem more desirable.
Speaker 9 (01:29:48):
I'll tell you what it is next and you can
see if you lie about it.
Speaker 8 (01:29:52):
John Jay Rich put it. John Jay and Rich are
live on the free iHeartRadio.
Speaker 2 (01:29:59):
App We need to know.
Speaker 10 (01:30:01):
A new study actually found that a lot of singles.
In fact, they said most singles lie about this one
thing to make themselves seem more desirable.
Speaker 9 (01:30:09):
And it isn't age or height. Its money.
Speaker 10 (01:30:13):
Study show all these people are exaggerating their income just
to look financially stable.
Speaker 9 (01:30:19):
And second aid up did this week. I guess you
could see why check out our podcast.
Speaker 10 (01:30:27):
They did find that gen Z men are most likely
to stretch the truth, even if it meant going into debt.
So Netflix is looking at hiring Travis Kelce. Apparently they
are in early talks or at least throwing their names
out there to have him become a major sports broadcasting
role on the streaming platform, possibly as a host or
(01:30:50):
on air correspondent for live events. Now, obviously no one
knows whether or not Travis keils he's going to play
another year in the NFL.
Speaker 9 (01:30:57):
If he chooses to retire, this could be a big
step into his post football era.
Speaker 10 (01:31:03):
I'm not sure if this is where he wants to go,
but Netflix has thrown their name in the hat, like, hey,
if you're retiring.
Speaker 9 (01:31:08):
We watch you.
Speaker 10 (01:31:10):
If you're dreaming of going on a cruise with your family,
Oceania Cruises says, maybe not the kids. Starting two days ago,
all of their new bookings and their entire fleet will
be for guests eighteen and older. Existing reservations with kids
will still be honored, but the move is meant to
create a calmer and more upscale cruise experience based on
(01:31:31):
guest feedback. And I don't know if you guys saw
earlier this week another kid fell off of a cruise
bow and the mom had to go in and save
the kid. Yeah, the four year old and the mom
went in after her and saved her. Everyone's fine, thankfully,
but like terrifying cruise ship.
Speaker 2 (01:31:46):
Yeah, so the four year old goes in, it goes under,
and the cruise ship is movie, so she has to
jump in his swim back and go get her.
Speaker 9 (01:31:51):
Yeah, holy yeah, it was our whole thing. Not that
I've seen, but I just read the news story earlier
this week.
Speaker 3 (01:31:57):
How do they know?
Speaker 9 (01:31:57):
Like that so dramatic, but they had to send out
like you know, they're the rescue boats from the ship.
Speaker 2 (01:32:03):
Wow, that's great, Hober.
Speaker 9 (01:32:05):
So, I'm wondering if Oceana's like, maybe it's a less
of a liability without youngsters because this has been happened.
Speaker 10 (01:32:12):
I feel this has been happening a lot with kids,
like more than it should per se. But yeah, so
more more upscale experience and.
Speaker 9 (01:32:20):
Also less liabilities for people that stay on the boat. Yeah,
well you hope. And that's three things you need to know.
Speaker 3 (01:32:25):
Rich. What is this New Year's thing you're talking about?
Speaker 1 (01:32:27):
Oh?
Speaker 4 (01:32:27):
Have you heard that? Starting?
Speaker 3 (01:32:29):
I think?
Speaker 4 (01:32:29):
Okay, So I don't know why, but this has been
following me around. I'd say I've heard about it maybe
three times in the last two days. So when you
hear about something, I feel like maybe that's critical mass.
So mercury is currently in retrograde, but when it ends
on February seventeenth, I think we start a new Chinese
New Year and it's the Year of the Horse, and
(01:32:51):
people say the year of the Horse is a good thing.
But I don't understand what they're talking about. But they're
dropping on on me, like I should know about the
Chinese calendar, which I do know because of getting Chinese restaurants.
When you look up your birthday and I know that
I'm the year of the rooster.
Speaker 11 (01:33:03):
I know.
Speaker 2 (01:33:04):
I saw.
Speaker 10 (01:33:06):
That last year was the Year of the snake, and
it was all about like shedding, shedding out.
Speaker 8 (01:33:11):
Shady people relationship.
Speaker 10 (01:33:14):
Yeah, and the Year of the Horse is like a
great thing because it's symbolized like energy and freedom and
action and speed and so it's like a more exciting year.
Speaker 8 (01:33:24):
To be in.
Speaker 4 (01:33:25):
Well that sounds good to me, but I just I
didn't know. I just heard it enough. And look, you
guys know all about Yeah.
Speaker 3 (01:33:30):
Do they repeat, like will it be Year of the
Horse again in five years?
Speaker 4 (01:33:34):
You got to figure there's a lot of animals out there,
so they do the Year of the repeat.
Speaker 9 (01:33:38):
I just don't know how what the like span is,
how long it takes.
Speaker 2 (01:33:42):
One time, when before I worked here, I worked on
a country radio station in Houston, and it was the
Year of the Rooster, and I went on the radio
and I used other words for a rooster that I
was wondering, if you're gonna go there. I didn't because
I'll tell you why I didn't. I didn't do it
right now because when I did it in Houston and
I was doing predictions, and I would tell them all,
(01:34:03):
you're a monkey or you're a rooster, and I would
use the other word, and it was hilarious. I got
in so much trouble, so much trouble so that I
was going to do that now. Yeah, well good, because
I mean, I'm talking about a rooster. I can't help
it's a different word. It's like when you talk about
a female dog.
Speaker 4 (01:34:21):
Do you know, John Jay, what what year? What animal
you are? On the Chinese calendar.
Speaker 2 (01:34:26):
I feel because my dad was very much into this.
I think I'm a monkey. Maybe I don't know.
Speaker 3 (01:34:31):
Do you know?
Speaker 4 (01:34:32):
I don't know my dad.
Speaker 3 (01:34:33):
I remember what you hear the monkeys your hear?
Speaker 1 (01:34:37):
You know?
Speaker 3 (01:34:38):
Is that what works?
Speaker 4 (01:34:38):
What about you, Kyle? Do you know what you want?
Speaker 6 (01:34:40):
No?
Speaker 9 (01:34:40):
But I'm googling it right now.
Speaker 10 (01:34:42):
I know you are what I'm I don't make It's
all part of the Chinese zodiaca. Apparently there's twelve animals
because I just googled the twelve.
Speaker 3 (01:34:50):
Is it a month animal for every month?
Speaker 9 (01:34:52):
I am a rooster, specifically the metal rooster.
Speaker 3 (01:34:57):
You are what you love?
Speaker 4 (01:34:58):
Heavy metal rooster?
Speaker 8 (01:35:00):
Have you met her?
Speaker 7 (01:35:02):
Rooster?
Speaker 4 (01:35:02):
About you?
Speaker 9 (01:35:03):
What do you?
Speaker 8 (01:35:03):
I don't know what I am?
Speaker 9 (01:35:04):
I think there was a bowl.
Speaker 3 (01:35:07):
Have the list right there, Kyle, like what you are.
Speaker 7 (01:35:09):
It's not like if you plug in its bas just
off your month right the same way?
Speaker 8 (01:35:13):
Year?
Speaker 2 (01:35:14):
Oh, the year, the year?
Speaker 7 (01:35:16):
Oh fascinating. Okay, well I'm nineteen ninety eight.
Speaker 4 (01:35:20):
We got in the house.
Speaker 8 (01:35:22):
I am a tiger. I'm a tiger.
Speaker 9 (01:35:26):
That would be I would I would rather be a tiger.
Speaker 4 (01:35:30):
I mean, think about a rooster. We wake everybody up.
Speaker 8 (01:35:32):
We're I like the tiger. I'll keep it.
Speaker 6 (01:35:36):
Yeah.
Speaker 4 (01:35:37):
Is there a slough, Jo Jakes?
Speaker 10 (01:35:39):
No, it's a rat, an ox, a tiger, rabbit, dragon, snake, horse, goat, monkey, rooster, dog,
and pig.
Speaker 4 (01:35:48):
But the horse here is supposed to be a good
year for us. That starting like, so don't don't.
Speaker 6 (01:35:55):
Animal.
Speaker 3 (01:35:56):
That's why it makes it sounds a monkey, and there
it is. I'm a monkey.
Speaker 9 (01:35:59):
I think the only other cool, cooler animal on the
Chinese zodiac would be a dragon.
Speaker 7 (01:36:03):
I would love to be a dragon dragons, Why why
you just had to go there?
Speaker 4 (01:36:11):
There, he got one in se
